but most of all just… remember all the fun that we have even if our involvement in the community is rather minimal even now since we’re only really comfortable freely sharing our stuff with our good online friends- from drawings of Grian in a dress, a four armed season-philza with four phitties(due to logical-ing that the arms also need the pecs & those musles,), and the oh,, HORRIFYINGLY oh so many sbi and benchtrio stuff we’ve mused (let alone have hivemates of), it’s nice to realize and acknowledge how much the content and community has changed us and helped us grow- let alone been a MASSIVE comfort even if we stopped consuming the ACTUAL mcyt content our mcyts provide for us.

(also minor propaganda: we think it’d be great if technoblade wins so we all, as a community, can joke that Techno still is beating the shit out of others in pvp even beyond the grave, even if a tumblr poll he’d still make fun of his friends and engaging with them over him winning it, with “Massive L” somewhere in those conversations with his friends and family.)

can we just listen to Disabled people when they say what accommodations they need??? Like it really isn’t that hard to just take someone’s word on what is best for their own body! Whether it’s more or less or different than what you deem they need it really isn’t your place to say!!!

Sometimes, people need more than they show! Especially if they’re used to being in pain all the time, then they won’t always display that discomfort.

Sometimes the accommodations someone needs are different than what you assume. A friend who struggles with noise sensitivity may ask for you to turn on a different type of music, instead of turning it down, and if that is what they express they need you don’t have to say “oh no I can just turn it down!” and ignore them saying that that isn’t necessary because your idea of noise sensitivity is different than their own experiences and needs.

And sometimes people need less than you try to provide! Or simply don’t want that accommodation at the time! And here’s the crazy part: this applies even if what they say to do could hurt them. Obviously this isn’t a rule for every situation*, but for some it absolutely is. If your friend wants to tag along for, say, a hike, and they have joint pain it isn’t your place to add in “oh no but they can’t do [the hike]! They’ll be in pain! We have to do something else to accommodate them!” If that person expressed a desire to go, especially if offered other options prior that wouldn’t hurt them, let them live. Let them do the thing that puts them in pain, because Disabled people don’t always want to be shoved into a little box of safety. Absolutely sometimes they do, and some might always want to, but if they don’t, then let them make their own choices for their body. Just as anyone else does. You go out and get drunk, even if it gives you a hangover. You go skating even if you’re shit at it and scratch up your knees a bunch. Just because someone is Disabled doesn’t mean that they can’t do the same thing and do that fun thing that hurts them.

I don’t know if I’m displaying my point how I want, so here’s my own example: I am allergic to the cold. Anything below 60 degrees (f) I get hives. Any water cooler than a fucking warm shower I get hives. My joints don’t do great when it’s cold out. This does not mean that when I say I want to go swimming, you can say “oh but you can’t you’ll get hives!” Or “no you can’t do that you’ll be in pain!” Because. I know that. I know that. I know my Disability better than anyone else can, and I can ask for accommodations I need. I am not a child to be wrapped in bubble wrap so I don’t get hurt. My body is my body and I can do with it what I want, and face the consequences. Likewise, just because I said I wanted to go swimming doesn’t mean that when I don’t want to go out and muck around in the snow it is anyone’s right to say “oh but you wanted to swim earlier, so obviously it isn’t that bad for you!” Or “oh it’s fine it’s not that cold! Just wear a sweater!” Because at that time I need and want different accommodations and that should be listened to and considered accordingly, as far as it can be in that situation.

Seriously. Just listen to us. We are in our own bodies. We know ourselves. It really isn’t that hard

1. I age up all characters for my writings. Maybe I should have clarified as such in that specific post, so that's on me. Think of it as Idia giving him upgrades in the future like how he gave him legs for walking idk use your imagination.

2. Ortho is not a baby or a kid. I'm sick of seeing the fandom treating Ortho the same way as Cheka (an actual child). It's been stated during the Ignihyde chapter that Ortho recalls memories from eleven years ago, back when he was five. Meaning he'd be sixteen now (or rather his human counterpart would be). Ortho is literally considered to be on the same level, age-wise as the other first years.

3. The double standard of your last statement kind of makes me question your age, especially since you sent this on anon. So, are you saying that me writing romance or smut of the other underage characters, who are 16-17, is okay, because they are teens, despite still being underage in canon?? I can't help but question if you are a teenager yourself, because that's the only reason I can think of as to why you would make it a point that "Ortho is a kid, not a teen," as if him being a teenager is any better in this situation (which didn't even involve anything sexual fyi).

If you are under the age of eighteen, then you shouldn't even be here, directly interacting with me in the first place. Because if that is the case, then that is a hell of a lot worse than some stupid post about kissing a fictional robot boy on the cheek.

In the same breath, I also need to say that through 5 episodes of the Willow series, they are kind of getting it right. I am pleasantly surprised.

I fully accept that I might have to walk that back depending on how the series ends, but as of now, the handling of Kit and Jade's relationship has been sweet and flirty and angsty and fun. This relationship has been all the things, and it's just refreshing to watch.

Throw in a motley crew of adventurers on a never-ending quest, magic, nostalgia, and some campy goodness, and you get a delightful show.

if i ever get a book published i don't want it to go viral on several social media platforms or shoved into some specific tropes and marketed that way. i want some unknowing person to pick it up from a bookstore, take it home and read it, and be so disturbingly fascinated by it that they can't stand either keeping it or throwing it away, so they just donate it to a second-hand shop where another unknowing person picks it up and continues the circle. if they are ever ask about it, i want them to take a second to gather themselves, just to eventually smile and say it's just a few short stories they're reading.

Boy I sure do love games that features a character who also faces the consequences of being a lab experiment! Got to admit this is something I never seen before done in other media I've seen.

From my understanding it's... a parasite who has taken over Leif's dead body and has his past memories, but also reviving him in a way? And they're a completely different being than past Leif. Also they're a walking identity crisis but that's ok cause they have friends.

Something something about Hollow Knight and Bug Fables having moths being some sort of significance to the plot.

Anyways this was all done during an on going war. (In the middle of chapter 6)
