(Genshin Impact) Furina, Lynette, Navia, Arlecchino, Chiori, Dehya, Shenhe, Candace, Sara, Yae, and Xianyun's S/O spoonfeeding them

No one requested this, I just had some cake and got reminded of that cute thing from Rune Factory 4 where on a date you can spoonfeed your date. Speaking of, I need to write more for RF4...

Furina hums in very smug content as S/O rightfully feeds her a spoonful of cake that she rightly deserved.

After all, such hard work from Fontaine's most beloved star deserved nothing but amazing treatment!

All she did that day was lay on her bed.

She closes her eyes as she lets out a small "Aaaah!", expecting another helping of cake, albeit with a small blush.

Furina would be more flustered if she wasn't so happy having two sweet things in the room right now.

(Furina) "S/O, give me another bite, do not keep me waiting!"

First of all, Lynette was slightly insulted that S/O was using a spoon on shellfish.

You ate them the way it was intended, and that was with your hands and napkins.

Putting aside that, Lynette can't help but play along and lets S/O put the spoon in her mouth.

She doesn't make too much of a reaction, at least on her face.

Her ears twitching and tail swishing is what tells S/O how she's really feeling.

(Lynette) "Mmm...Tastes good."

Navia already feeds S/O with macarons, so she does not even blink when S/O gives her a spoon.

Her smile gets even bigger as she opens wide and happily takes a bite from their spoon.

Wiping the crumbs off with a fancy napkin, she finishes swallowing before nodding enthusiastically.

Her heart is beating fast to be sure, but she just wants to enjoy this very cute moment for a little longer!

(Navia) "Oooh, that tastes really good! Here, now it's my turn!"

Whenever Arlecchino is having dinner at the House of the Hearth, her demeanor does ease up by a significant amount.

Especially around the kids and her S/O.

Meaning when S/O offers her some of the food, Arlecchino indulges them by leaning in.

Noting their happy reaction, Arlecchino takes a moment to gauge the food.

(Arlecchino) "Hm...Not bad. However, I could use a second opinion."

She grabs her own spoonful of the food and offers it to S/O, without a single second of hesitation or any signs of blushing.

Chiori greatly enjoyed Inazuman desserts, but did prefer to create rather than taste them.

Nevertheless, that did not stop her S/O from always making her them when she was working.

Making sure she was far away from the clothes she was tailoring and her tools, S/O brought Chiori a plate of sweets. However, it made her raise an eyebrow when S/O offered her a spoonful, and told her to open wide.

Sighing, she rolls her eyes a little and opens slightly, tasting the treat after a few seconds.

(Chiori) "Yeah yeah, very cute S/O. I hope you didn't expect to do this for the entirety of our lunch break."

Dehya gets flustered if her S/O tries to spoonfeed her, especially in front of the other mercs.

But that being said, she has no problem with letting them feed her Candied Ajilenakh Nuts.

She leans into their hand and almost bites it from them, laughing at their reaction as she does it so quickly.

Once a few seconds of crunching passes, she looks expectantly at S/O.

(Dehya) "Come on, don't hold out on me, pass me another!"

Shenhe just nods when S/O offers her some soup on their spoon, not even blinking when she allows them to feed her.

Nodding in satisfaction, she then continues eating her bowl of noodles before pausing for a brief moment.

Silence passes through the table for a few seconds before Shenhe offers some of her food to them.

(Shenhe) "Would you like to try mine? It tastes good."

Though she remains stoic, she feels very happy to mimic S/O's actions, seeing how happy they were.

Candace warmly smiles at S/O when she sees them hold out their spoon to her.

A small chuckle escapes her lips before tasting S/O's food, seeing how happy they were.

(Candace) "Delightful, S/O. Thank you."

It was moments like these that made Candace fall in love with them all over again.

She moves a little closer to them, if only to let S/O feed her a bit better than having to reach out their arm so far.

Sara's eyes widen in surprise, seeing S/O smile at her expectantly.

Swallowing her pride, Sara hesitated for only a second before leaning in.

Chewing the food S/O gave her made her cheeks start to heat up, making her eyes look anywhere but them.

(Sara) "T-Thank you...Please do not speak of this to anyone."

Thank the Shogun they weren't feeding her sweets, otherwise she'd really be in trouble...

Honestly, Yae would be more insulted if S/O didn't pamper her in some capacity.

(Yae) "Oh? Well, this is quite the service for dinner, S/O. Come on now, let me taste your cooking."

No shame whatsoever, Yae allows herself to be fed by S/O.

In fact, she pretty much has all of her meal spoonfed to her, partly because this was really cute, and mostly because she wanted to see how long S/O would actually keep this up for.

Would she do the same for S/O? Probably, if they asked. But for now, this was her dinner.

No questions even asked, Xianyun immediately takes S/O's spoon into her mouth, sampling their cuisine.

She doesn't really understand, nor care for that matter, about how some people would see such an action.

If there was good food S/O was offering her, then One would be a fool to refuse!

The smile on her lip quickly follows after, having properly discerned the delicacy.

(Xianyun) "Simply marvelous cuisine One has been given, S/O!...Hm? What is that expression for? That could not have come from your meal alone, do tell One the reason for it."

Little things they do to show love

Version: Fontaine characters

- Lyney

Lyney loves to steal little kisses from you in moments when you are distracted, he also loves to show up at random moments and give you some wet little kisses on your face.

- Lynette

Lynette who secretly approaches you as you two walk together in rare moments she can intertwine her hand with yours, If you question her about this she will blush a little and move her hand away and apologize.

- Freminet

Freminet will gift you some small toys made from scrap metal or even pearls he found while swimming, Quietly claiming that took them because they reminded you of you and you were supposed to keep them for yourself

- Neuvillette

Neuvillette lets you see his gentle side, opening up to you just like he does with the Melusines, he also lets you try exotic waters and tea with him. He doesn't really know the concept of showing affection so he gets comfortable around you without even realizing it. (the weather gets better whenever you're near him)

- Furina

Furina that lets you have a front row seat at all the trials that take place in Fontaine, she loves spending time with you in general, doing little things to impress you just to receive little compliments from you she loves having your attention completely focused on her.

- Navia

Navia loves feeding you macaroons and other little sweets that she makes, seeing you with a smile makes her day better, she also loves going out with you to little places and buying things with you too.

- Clorinde

Clorinde whenever you walk in Fontaine asks to accompany you for your safety, she also loves to hear you talking about stories from your travels she always listens attentively with little a little smile.

- Wriothesley

Wriothesley always presents you with exotic teas, in fact this is a small invitation for you to have tea with him, In fact he loves your presence in his office and when you are there at tea time everything gets even better, You can receive one or two small boxes of tea with a flavor you've never seen before with a letter written by him (the letters have a light tea scent and some melusine stickers on the envelope)

- Charlotte

Charlotte loves taking photos of moments with you, she keeps them in her journalism diary, this serves as a little reminder that you are always with her no matter the situation.

★~ Navia: PRECIOUS GIRLLLLL she definitely love cuddles! anytime and anywhere she’s free, she would ask you for cuddles! she loves receiving kisses on her face and she loves giving them as well. she loves to play with you hair while she tells you about interesting facts. she doesn’t mind about the ‘big spoon or small spoon’ when cuddling, she just wants to feel the warmth from your body and feel the loving feeling. she wants to cuddle 24/7 so before the day start, she would ask for atleast a 10 minutes cuddle before going out.

★~ Clorinde: in the outside, she may seem well… idk, scary or tough or whatever. but she actually just want to feel affection and love. please cuddle her until she feels calm!!! she likes to cuddle before sleeping while holding your hand and hearing your heartbeat. on bad and rainy days, she would cry to sleep while cuddling you. you don’t mind, ofcourse. but sometimes when she’s angry, it’s best to give her some space before giving her affection. the warmth of your body just gives her a safe feeling. she loves kisses but not ticklish ones…

★~ Furina: well… she wants cuddles only if she asks for. i’m sure she loves them but on some days, she just wants to be alone. if she’s having a bad day, she would sometimes ask for cuddle while she tells her all of the things that has been going on. please give her tons of kisses! she would curl up as you both cuddle, she wants to feel someone love her, like truly LOVE her. she loves to feel your warmth and staying by your side. on rainy days, she would stay indoor and cuddle with you all day long.

★~ Charlotte: A SWEET GIRLLLL! she loves cuddles! you both always cuddle before bed and every moning after waking up. she loves telling her day while you both cuddle with her fuzzy blanket covering the both of you. wrap her in warmth and she will immediately fall asleep! everytime you both cuddle, she will likely fall asleep. she loves doodling things with her fingers on your body. she loves nose boops! please protect this girl in any other way, she’s literally the sweetesttt T-T (i think it’s best if we see this platonically?)

anyway I was thinking, imagine the (fem! Or gn!) mechanic reader (yes my genshin self insert is a mechanic and I’m delulu) with lyney or Furina, or any other characters you wanna add if you want (idk how this works). synposis. you ask the fontainian boys and girlies for a lesson in the language of their nation — french, to better understand them and become closer.

disclaimer. i had french for seven years in school, but my knowledge in the language is in no way perfect, so if i make mistakes, i apologize in advance! pointing out mistakes is okay, but don’t be an ass about it. furthermore, any terms of endearment that are written here will be used with their respective possessive pronoun to keep it gender neutral. for example, cherie is feminine, so i will put ma in front of it. cœur is masculine, so i will put mon. i hope this is lucid enough! lastly, if any qualities used ( fav color, macaron ) do not align with your preferences, feel free to change it in your head — i just used my own to make the sentence flow. OH and one more note i promise- some things can’t really be translated the same in english as they sound in french! mon cœur for example is not really a term of endearment you hear the same in english.. so if the translation sounds weird, it’s just because some things can’t sound the same unfortunately.. THATS WHY FOREIGN LANGUAGES ARE MORE ROMANTIC🗣️🗣️

⌗ oh she was so excited when you showed interest in her native language, it was just so romantic and things couldn’t be expressed as deeply in english as they were in french.

⌗ very patient with teaching you! she prefers a more verbal approach with teaching you and despite her formal nature, she teaches you a casual and easy way of speaking that doesn’t make you sound robotic😭

⌗ “imparfait is used a lot when written, in speech however — between you and me.. you don’t hear it really often! so we’re just gonna focus on le passé composé~ <3”

⌗ if you feel insecure about your lack of accent, it’s okay ( bc me too. ), navia won’t judge you for it! she’s just happy that you’re willing to learn for her!

⌗ likes to set up a scenario for you to test your proficiency! this time around, she had invited clorinde to join you both for tea and macarons.

⌗ clorinde was as patient as a one came.. and was happy to be having navia’s macarons once more.

⌗ “ah~ y/n, voulez-vous un autre macaron? quelle saveur souhaitez-vous?” / “ah~ y/n, would you like another macaron? which flavor would you like?”

⌗ clorinde is just sipping away her tea as the gears are turning in your head to answer navia properly. “oui.. um, je voulais un de chocolat, s’il vous plaît..” / “yes.. um, i’d like a chocolate one, please.”

⌗ cue uncertainty in your words but navia just smiles brightly before clapping. “très bien, ma cherie~! voilà, un macaron de chocolat.” / “very good, my darling! here you go, one chocolate macaron.”

⌗ despite your embarrassment, the tea party went surprisingly well? you eventually got a little more comfortable despite your easy way of speaking, but navia couldn’t be prouder<3

⌗ he is a total tease with it and is the kind of tutor that would ask what you are referring to or press for more information just to mess around with you.

⌗ say he asks what your favorite color is, he’ll totally 100% ask WHY it’s your favorite color, and will await with this innocent smile for you to explain. like so.. “pourquoi le rouge est ta couleur préférée, hm? explique-moi s’il vous plaît, mon cœur~” / “why is red your favorite color, hm? please explain to me, my heart~”

⌗ “one of these days lyney, i swear..” you’d mutter and he’d just put a hand to his ear. “hm, qu’est ce-que vous avez dit? je ne comprends pas!” / “hm, what was that you said? i don’t understand!”

⌗ he is fr testing your patience, and now you are wondering whether or not it was a good idea to say you wanted to learn french. he is the most meddlesome teacher!

⌗ i feel like he’s one of those that refuses to answer you unless you respond in french. doesn’t have to be perfect, but he needs to hear you trying! thinks it’s the best way for you to pick up the language — an environment where you are inclined to speak it!

⌗ he probably makes lynette and freminet join in on this scheme of his.. fremmy is mouthing apologies in english to you while lynette is apologizing for her troublesome brother.

⌗ it’s needless to say, despite the extremities, lyney’s method kind of worked? i mean you’re in an environment where all you hear is french and you are forced to speak it in order to communicate with your lover and his family, sooo.. you’re bound to pick it up. sorta.

⌗ when arlecchino was in town again for a visit to check on her kids, you had this idea once you felt you knew enough of the language to ask for her approval on you dating lyney, since she hadn’t known yet.

⌗ so with lyney present, you shocked him completely by walking up to the fatui harbinger with a shaky confidence, holding your heart as you stared up at her. “madame arlecchino.. il m’a fallu beacoup de temps pour apprendre les mots.. mais,” you paused, sucking in a breath. “je voudrais avouer que je suis très amoureux de ton fils.. et je souhaite votre approbation!” / “miss arlecchino, it took me a lot of time to learn the words.. but, i wanted to confess that i am very much in love with your son, and i wish for your approval!”

⌗ lyney was in complete shock of what his ‘father’ might say, but when the smallest smile painted her lips, relief washed over him. “vous devez vraiment l’aimer beaucoup, si vous avez appris le français pour me dire ça.. vous avez mon approbation.” / “you must love him very much, then, if you learned french to tell me this.. you have my approval.”

⌗ oh, you thought lyney was bad? think again. furina is on another level of teaching french and just as troublesome, if not- worse, as he is with his methods of teaching you..

⌗ she’s got you writing, doing grammar and spelling, speaking, reading — everything you can imagine. all because you showed the tiniest bit of interest in the language since furina’s performances are often in french.

⌗ in hindsight, you just wanted to learn to understand her better whenever you attended her shows</3

⌗ when she realizes she’s overdoing things, she eases up and recoils a little, not wanting to overflow you with information. it was meant to be something fun for you both anyway to connect you more, not another year of education for you..

⌗ and so she switches to another method of teaching — which is practicing her scripts with you!

⌗ she helps you with your lines, and whatever you don’t understand, she will explain to you so that you guys can have your little performance together<3

⌗ she’ll summon her little animal friends with her vision to act as supporting cast while the two of you act out your lines. cue you being a flustered mess cuz you’re worried about your pronunciation and emotion since hers is so on point, but her eyes sparkle when she hears you trying. you can tell she’s glad you wanted to do this with her.

⌗ some scripts include her singing and it’s just the most beautiful thing. you had heard her once singing la vie en rose in the shower while reading a book and ever since, you’d wished to hear her again.

⌗ “et tu, mon ange..” she cupped your cheek, eyes filled with love for you. “mon étoile.. ma raison de vivre, de tout mon coeur, corps et âme, t’adore tendrement.” / “and you, my angel.. my star.. my reason for living, with all of my heart, body and soul, i adore you dearly.”

⌗ despite it being part of her lines, the script she was following, you had felt every word that was expressed and knew that furina had meant it all.

➫ 𝓝𝗘𝗨𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘 ୨୧ ˎˊ˗

⌗ similar to navia, he’s very patient with you and not as strict as he looks like he would be. he’s very gentle and sweet about it.

⌗ when you told him you wanted to learn his native language, you could see the slightest hint of elation in his visage. if you were around water, it was bound to twinkle in response to his emotions.

⌗ it was decided that he would teach you as best as he could, and his methods were a little less verbal than the others though. he wanted to teach you the written part to help you with vocabulary and forming sentences. if you had that down, you would have a little more ability and inspiration to respond to him more easily.

⌗ although, he loved reading to you as well, even if it made you a little sleepy. his voice was just so soothing, you couldn’t help yourself when it came to monsieur neuvillette</3

⌗ however he made a point to do this after you guys practiced, since he realized it serenaded you more than it taught you.. but he didn’t mind, you looked so peaceful and adorable<3

⌗ still don’t have the pronunciation down for the very machine he used everyday for trials? he’s got you. “selon le jugement de l’oratrice de mécanique d’analyse cardinale..” yes. yes i did that. no translation needed.

⌗ it made you giggle a little when he said it, him obviously not phased by you asking him to pronounce it — little did he know you just wanted to hear him say it cuz it was silly..

⌗ one day you bring him a book series called ‘fables de fontaine’ — which are in essence, folktales of fontaine, with the intention of reading them with his assistance.

⌗ it made him smile to see you shyly hold up the stack of volumes, but he nodded and sat you down on his lap to read them together, as a means of testing your proficiency.. and maybe- just maybe.. cuz you wanted an excuse to be close with him.

⌗ regardless, he didn’t mind and rather valued the time you shared together since he was the ludex of fontaine — meaning he was often very busy and unavailable</3 so whatever time he got with you, was always and forever cherished by him<3 even if you kind of just maybe.. fell asleep midway while reading.. it just made him chuckle before pressing a chaste kiss to your forehead. “beaux rêves, mon bijou.” / “sweet dreams, my jewel.”

notes. i had this in my drafts for ages, to any of my french speaking readers — please don’t butcher me :’))) anyway i hope this was okay, little different from what i normally do since i don’t really showcase me writing in other languages cuz it’s more work to add translations — and it’s difficult to stay gender neutral😵‍💫

So you're an Oceanid now.

You suppose there are worse things you could have turned into. God, imagine if you turned into a hilichurl or something like that. Yeah, you'll take being a graceful water being over a hilichurl any day.

You can talk, you can wield Hydro and you can go literally anywhere you want as long as water is present. It's honestly not that bad of a deal, you can be Mx. Worldwide if you so desire it.

As for finding company with your fellow lochfolk? That's not really much an option, all things considered. As it stands now, Oceanids follow one simple rule.

You stay in your lake, they stay in theirs and you call it a day.

Kaeya

Considering Springvale's small pond is already taken, you decide to call dibs on Starfell Lake since after Rhodeia made even the waters of the Dawn Winery bitter, you figured it would be better to try a source lake not connected to her spot in Liyue

To be honest when it came to being an Oceanid, you figured you didn't really need to become the companion of any of the characters

You're more than content to stay in your lake and mind your business. But truthfully, it does get boring, so when you saw Kaeya's reflection peering into your waters, you popped your head up to say hi almost instinctively

Apart from a brief look of surprise, that's the extent of your attempt to seem regal and mysterious in front of the Calvary Captain

"A water faerie so far from Fontaine? I can't believe my eye; this is the certainly the last thing I was expecting to see while out on a stroll."

It's not everyday you meet something so exciting and considering what happened after encountering the Traveler and Paimon, Kaeya decides to listen to his instincts that there'll be a lot to come from interacting with you

Because of this, Kaeya is a frequent visitor to your lake besides the people who occasionally stop by to clean the statue of the Seven

You ask him about the daily gossip of Mondstadt and he asks you about the life of being a water faerie, a fair trade even if most of your information is based on your memory of the Genshin wiki page and the limited personal experience you have

Kaeya's made a joke about how your meeting is something one might read in a romance novel, much to your embarrassment

Is he serious or no?

It's not like there haven't been any Human/Oceanid relationships in this game so it isn't completely out of the ordinary when you think about it...

At the same time though, you don't want to look super eager

One particular night, a long silence fell over you both when you asked him about his family. He tells you a bit about his past, about being adopted into the Ragnvindr family and his present less than savory relationship with Diluc

You ask if he's lonely to which he asks in return "do I seem lonely?" yet there is no bite in his tone nor is there any sarcasm either. his gaze is thoughtful but miles away from your lake

"Yes" are the words on your non-existent tongue yet you can't bring yourself to say it, all while a warm hand brushes against your watery cheek much too quickly

Navia

Being an Oceanid in Fontaine pre-Neuvillette's judgement was pretty much impossible, thankfully you airdropped into Teyvat after that deciding to call an area near Poisson your home

As to how you met Navia, you heard her crying by the sea as she does sometimes after getting new flowers for the grave of her father and much like the Spring Faerie of Springvale, you answered the call and swam to the surface

She thought maybe you were Melus or Silver, or maybe some other lost soul of Poisson. You quickly let her know that wasn't actually the case, much to Navia's initial disappointment

But Navia is an optimist, first and foremost. So she won't let the reality of the situation get her down and would ask you a bunch of questions. Afterall, Oceanids are thought to be practically extinct in Fontaine after Egeria's death so she doesn't want to waste the opportunity to learn more about you

And boy do her questions range from genuinely thought provoking to so silly it leaves you both in a fit of laughter

It's a first meeting that does Navia good, there she was so sad and then you came and turned the entire situation inside out. She promises to make you macarons as thanks, if lochfolk can even eat

Truthfully, you don't know if you can either. It's not like it's necessary to eat as you are now but fuck it you want to find out for yourself

Navia is also quick to invite you live in the waters of Poisson in general, or at least settle in if you ever want to visit and see the town for yourself

You take her up on the offer to have, if anything, a change of scenery and to see more people out and about than you normally would

You truthfully enjoy a nice yap session with Navia, it's never boring when she's around even if the most you're doing is watching her dish out orders from your comfortable pond in Poisson

But the best hangout sessions you have are when you are a good distance from the place and she can chat with you freely. She'll bring a basket of snacks, a blanket to sit on and you'll chat the day away

Sometimes she'll even bring a sketchbook and attempt to draw your portrait. Navia isn't the best artist but you enjoy looking at her artwork nonetheless

A small secret of her heart though is that Navia is quite sure that as a young girl she dreamed of something like this. Meeting an Oceanid by lakeside and falling in love before willingly being taken into the depths of Fontaine to eternally perform a watery dance of love

Maybe she can't do some of those things as the boss of Spina di Rosula, but maybe the former... maybe she's just been reading too many romance novels

Childe

When it comes to Childe, you truly lucked out in becoming an Oceanid when you lost the isekai 50/50. Because if you were something couldn't talk like a Thunder Manifestation or a Geovishap... you'd be assed out

For he, Tartaglia, is constantly finding ways to become stronger and that includes fighting mythical beings he comes across

But hey, Childe is no barbarian. Anything that can talk and beg for its life, for the most part, isn't a viable option for honing his skills

So congratulations, you narrowly avoided becoming a hashtag in someone's twitter bio twice in a row

Childe quickly laughs off your near brush with death and he dodges the spout of water you send his way. Sadly, he's somewhat charming when he says "come on, in my defense I didn't think you had any real intelligence! Now that I know we can easily become buddies, I'm sure!"

Maybe it's guilt (you doubt it), maybe it's a bit of youthful wonder permeating his soul (you're sure it's this), but he makes it a point to visit you while he is in Fontaine

Yeah, you lost another 50/50 by being airdropped into Fontaine during its Archon Quest but miraculously the water isn't painful. Maybe it's because you're technically not from this world and it grants you some sort of immunity? You're not sure

You are sure of, however, the fact that Childe comes to visit you like he gets paid for it

Apparently he wants to chat it up with you so he has plenty of interesting stories for his younger siblings when he visits them next time he is in his homeland

You sadly have a soft spot for it seems for war criminals that also happen to be family-oriented so you indulge him begrudgingly despite the rocky start to your friendship

When he gets arrested, you don't see him for a while and you admittedly grow worried when he doesn't show up even beyond the crisis of the prophecy coming to fruition but isn't like you can just discreetly find a fatuus in a city, let alone a Harbinger

Childe comes to see you soon enough though when he's recovered a substantial amount (barely any at all)

He laughs at you worriedly berate him for being so careless. "I just had to make sure my favorite Oceanid didn't miss me too much, that's all"

-we all know how she's not one of the best cooks. so, you being one makes it a bit better.

Summary: General scenarios with Fontaine characters, very loosely based on the trailers!

Characters: Lyney, Navia, Neuvillette, Furina

Lyney

A long time ago, on streets you no longer bear memory of, you met a magician who not only stole your heart, but planted flowers in place of them.

That is to say; during a rather heavy period in your life, you encountered someone who offered you the comfort of a quiet smile and courteous sleight of hand (to turn 1 coin into 2, then 3, then just enough to treat a lost soul to a drink in the evening, if you cared to join him. And with a demeanor as charming as that, how could you turn him away?)

You asked Lyney what other tricks he knew, to which he simply pointed to the sky and said that if you smiled at the same time the constellations twinkled, your heart would feel lighter.

“And if I become so light as to float toward the stars?”

“Well… I’d have to make my own stars, then. Perhaps even ones you can catch yourself, if you’d like to join me onstage.”

Navia

To catch a stray umbrella that’s escaped its owner is not part of your regular afternoon, however a part of you welcomes the incident due to how it acquainted you with Navia, who was quick to thank you for the trouble and invite you out as an apology.

If Fontaine’s lifestyle weighed on the beauty of a show, you could say that Navia shined so brightly on her own that there was no need to put on additional fronts to satisfy this. From her lively actions to the honest furrow in her brow, you might compare her to sunlight - paving a way for clarity and cheer, with warmth in her voice as she spoke your name.

“Say, if you managed to catch my umbrella so easily, could it be that you…”

“I don’t have a habit of climbing buildings, unfortunately.”

“Aww, I was just going to ask you to spot for me next time!”

Neuvillette

Between the administrative work he has and the performances he oversees at court, it’s safe to say that Neuvillette is just relieved to have a bit of simplicity when it comes to you in his everyday life.

There’s no question about the bias he has for you. His affection isn’t falsely given either - how can it be, when Neuvillette returns to see you’ve fallen asleep at the guest seat in his office, waiting for him to head home together after a long day?

When the theatrics of the court finally settle into calm waters, Neuvillette just hopes it means a more regular life for the both of you. Ignoring the times you tease him for being sappy, you’ve always looked at him with a gentleness that hopes he can get more rest. He doesn’t know how to tell you that his ideal scenario includes you as well, having a moment to wind down together with tea and your favorite snacks.

Furina

Needless to say, you were a little more than stressed when Furina announced that she’d like you as her aide.

You were less boring than other people, and fun to drag around and talk to. A part of her was simply flamboyant in nature, but Furina also grew a habit of glancing at your reactions to see if she’s impressed you sometimes.

After a while, you come to realize that there was something lonely about the archon - it’s in the moments where instead of talking your ear off or asking you to join her for another show, she grows silent and simply watches the city around her, like rain on a windowpane, drumming her fingers lightly against her crossed arm.

And just as quickly as the moment settles, it’s gone; replaced by Furina pulling you away by the elbow, impatient for your attention as she pursues the next idea that’s entered her mind.

Maybe, in the same way there are reflective pairs in how hydro works, the both of you find a sense of comfort in your similarities that do not show on the surface, until a ripple disturbs it.

Not too big of a NSF-W warning this time around, gonna be 99% fluff for this one because SWEET LIBERTY do we need more fluff for the girls on this site! Also, I don't normally include THIS many gals in a single ask but this shall be a very rare exception!

Amber yawns loudly as she stretches out her arm, accidentally squishing her hand against S/O's face.

(Amber) "O-Oh! Sorry!"

She can't help but laugh at their expression, before giving a playful kiss on their nose.

(Amber) "At least you're up now!"

(S/O) "Amber...It's six in the morning..."

If anything, it looked like Amber was eager to get out of bed.

Even after last night, she was still bustling with energy.

The sun had yet to rise, but Amber still adored S/O in this lighting, giving them one last kiss on the lips before getting up and dressed.

(Amber) "See you at breakfast, S/O!"

She puts a Baron Bunny in their arms and a blanket over S/O, finally departing.

When S/O's eyes flutter open, the first thing they see besides the light coming into the room is Ayaka gently smiling at them, with a similarly tired expression.

Her hand gently cups S/O's face, making them relax into her hold.

(Ayaka) "Good morning, my love."

(S/O) "Sleep well?"

Ayaka giggles and moves closer, her forehead resting on theirs as her eyes close.

(Ayaka) "Very."

Her cheeks begin to flush when their bare skin touch, but it doesn't stop the love she feels growing in her chest.

(Ayaka) "...If only I could stay like this forever with you. But, would one more hour suffice for now?"

(S/O) "For now..."

Ayaka smiles before feeling S/O's arms wrap around her, not saying anything else and simply enjoying the mutual silence.

S/O is woken up by Arlecchino already moving out of bed and dressed. Her eyes glance over to them and finishes putting her gloves on.

(Arlecchino) "Good morning."

(S/O) "Already going?"

Arlecchino hums in reply, one hand going over S/O's and giving it a gentle squeeze before finally rising from the bed.

(Arlecchino) "There is always much to be done. The same applies for you."

S/O couldn't argue with that point, as much as they would like to lay in bed with her for the next few hours doing nothing.

Many people assumed Arlecchino was stone-hearted, especially since she didn't look that affectionate during mornings like these.

But S/O knew better. With just the grip of her hand, and the way she turned back a final time to look at S/O before departing:

Arlecchino cared.

Beidou feels a heavy weight on her chest when she opens her eyes, seeing S/O's head gently resting near her shoulders.

With a smile, she ruffles their hair just gently enough to wake them up.

(Beidou) "Mornin' sleepyhead. I see you made yourself comfortable."

(S/O) "Heh, who wouldn't be? Better than any pillow I've ever used."

Beidou gently pushes S/O off so she can sit up, the blanket resting on her lap as it fell off their shoulders.

She didn't mind the cold air on her skin, since the only thing she was focusing on was S/O.

(Beidou) "Come on, let's go grab something to eat."

(S/O) "Can't admire you like this for a little longer?"

(Beidou) "Psh, there's always tonight."

She gives them a light kiss before finally getting up to get dressed with S/O following behind.

Candace's arms still have S/O locked in a tight embrace, just as she had them last night.

Feeling her hands gently raise up and down made Candace feel at ease.

Though it was still quite early, she did have to begin her usual rounds soon.

Very slowly and carefully, Candace gently lets go of S/O, giving them a kiss on their forehead before putting her gear on.

(Candace) I will see you later today, S/O.

Candace makes sure not to wake them up as she says goodbye in her head.

With a final smile, she covers them with a blanket and leaves.

Chiori's eyes reluctantly open, with a yawn and foreign warmth enveloping her.

She's about ready to shove it off before realizing what it was.

...Oh, right. S/O.

(S/O) "Mmnn...Mornin', Chiori."

(Chiori) "Morning. Do you plan on moving your hands anytime soon?"

Laughing at her response, S/O just gently squeezes her.

(S/O) "I dunno. Plan to move out of it?"

Directly after that, she rolls her eyes and moves closer.

(Chiori) "Maybe in a little bit. If you get coffee for me when I open up."

(S/O) "Deal."

Furina is slightly drooling with her arms and hair sprawled out wildly, her hand on S/O's face.

S/O moves her hand off, slightly irritated at being woken up by being slapped.

Meanwhile, Furina is quietly snoring, all the while hogging the blanket.

Annoyed as S/O was, they couldn't deny that Furina was a little cute.

...Even in such a unflattering state.

(S/O) "You're lucky you're so cute..."

(Furina) "...mneh..." snore

(S/O) "...Most of the time."

Kokomi stifles a yawn as she stretches in bed, feeling S/O's arms around her.

She giggles as tries her best to move without waking them up, getting to stare at their sleeping expression.

Just being this close enough to them was enough to power Kokomi for the entire day.

Especially since they'd be back by her side like this during the morning and nights.

(Kokomi) "S/O~!"

She gently taps their nose with a single finger, and sees their eyes slowly open.

Their eyes staring at her with such love made her heart race.

(S/O) "What a beautiful sight in the morning..."

(Kokomi) "Hm, I could say the same thing...!"

She knows that she has to get up eventually, but she would spend every second she can with them.

Lisa does not want to move at all.

She holds onto S/O tighter before attempting to go back to sleep, but she felt them stir awake.

(S/O) "Lisa...?"

(Lisa) "Ssshhh...Too early still."

One eye glanced over to the wall.

Ten-o-clock? WAY too early for her.

With one hand, Lisa idly traces their shoulder before hugging them.

(Lisa) "We'll get up in an hour. We don't have to be anywhere today..."

(S/O) "Hah, will you be awake when an hour passes?"

(Lisa) yawn "I guess we'll see..."

Lumine breathes a sigh of relief, seeing S/O still by her side.

She didn't have any nightmares, at least not when she knew they were sleeping next to her.

One of her hand gently brushes the hair out of their eyes, seeing their face move from her touch.

(Lumine) "Oh, sorry! Didn't mean to wake you."

(S/O) "Hm...It's okay..."

Both of their hands reach for hers, gently holding them.

(S/O) "I always wanna wake up from you, anyway."

She can't contain the embarassed laugh that escapes her lips, embracing them with her strength.

(Lumine) "...Same here."

Lumine sits up in the bed, not really caring that either of them were wearing anything.

(Lumine) "I can cook us up something, what do you want?"

Navia's hair is tickling S/O's nose, making their face slightly shake it off as they see her beautiful smile in the sunlight.

Even when she looked a bit unkempt in the morning, Navia still looked absolutely gorgeous.

Doubly so when she wakes up with that infectious smile of hers.

She lays on her stomach as she gives S/O a wink.

(Navia) "Heya, S/O.~"

(S/O) "Morning, Navia..."

She immediately begins to pepper their face with kisses, making the both of them giggle.

(Navia) "Now, what shall we do for breakfast? Should we get it in bed?"

(S/O) "Hah, if I don't get up, then I'll want to be with you here forever."

(Navia) "And that's a bad thing how, exactly?"

She asks them with a toothy grin.

Rosaria knows its about the afternoon when she finally wakes up, but notices the bed isn't empty.

(S/O) "Finally awake?"

(Rosaria) "Ugh, unfortunately."

She freezes up when S/O's hands ruffles her hair, but she doesn't move to shove it off.

Instead, she sits there and sees that S/O was reading a book in bed.

Notably, they have yet to put on a shirt.

(Rosaria) "Were you waiting for me to wake up this entire time?"

(S/O) "Yeah, but don't worry, I don't mind!"

Rosaria hums a little before she sits up with them, a small smile growing.

(Rosaria) "You didn't have to but...it's nice to wake up with you."

Shenhe has already been awake for quite some time, but she did not want to wake up S/O.

Instead, she waits for them to do so before greeting them in her usual cool voice.

(Shenhe) "Good morning."

(S/O) "Hey, Shnehe-"

As they try to move, they notice that her arm's iron grip has not budged a single inch.

S/O shivered from Shenhe's cooler temperature due to her Cryo vision, but that didn't stop them from quickly heating up.

(S/O) "How long were you waiting?"

(Shenhe) "An hour or so, but it doesn't matter. I just wanted to be here when you woke up."

She feels their arms wrap around her waist, making her embrace them tighter.

It was almost to the point S/O's back was beginning to get sore, but that was a small price to pay.

Xianyun finally feels S/O stir awake, her meditation finally coming to an end.

(Xianyun) "Ah, finally awake. One has noted that mortals tend to sleep in quite an extraordinary amount."

(S/O) "Well, when you did as much as we did last night...!"

Xianyun reaches for her glasses before turning to S/O with a smile.

(Xianyun) "One should develop something to help with your energy...Perhaps a cuisine of some kind?"

S/O couldn't help but feel curious.

(S/O) "What would even help with that?"

(Xianyun) "Dress yourself and come along now, we shall find the answer together."

Yae's usual smug expression is more subdued this early in the morning, especially next to someone she loved.

Much to the surprise of S/O.

(Yae) "My, you can sleep for quite a while. Were you truly that tired?"

S/O yawned before turning to see Yae at them staring with a mischievous smile.

(S/O) "I wonder why..."

Their tone sounded a bit dry, making Yae laugh.

(Yae) "I suppose you'll just have to get better stamina."

Her finger traced down their waist before quickly bopping them on the nose, her ears slightly going up as she did so.

(Yae) "Do you plan on getting up, or keep staring at my beautiful face all day? Not that I would mind being lavished with praise."

𑁍༄Lyney:

Lyneys bright lavender eyes were trained on you, or more rather the pocky stick that hung slightly out of your mouth, dangling in front of him and tempting him to take a bite. Surely you wouldn't mind if it was just one little taste...he thought, as he leaned in closer to you, his movement making you turn towards him in curiosity. Your faces suddenly just inches away from eachother, causing a blush to spread across your face while he smiled mischievously and started to nibble away at the other end of your pocky stick.

Getting closer and closer to you with each stolen bite, your heart absolutely racing as he got to the part that was at the cusp of your mouth. You could feel his lips against yours for just a split second, his eyes shining with victory as he pulled away...leaving you absolutely flustered.

𑁍༄Navia:

When Navia had originally offered to buy you a pack of pocky, you didn't have any ulterior motives, you were just kinda hungry...and yet the second the box of delicious chocolate covered sticks made its way into your hand...you couldn't help but think of sharing them in the most romantic way possible. "Navia, want to share my pocky with me? Theres this challenge I've always wanted to try and since we are partners I want to try it with you first." You said casually, your heart skipping a beat as her golden yellow eyes met yours and that oh so sweet smile flashed into view.

"Of course! What's the challenge?" Her voice was sugary sweet like honey and the thought of possibly getting a kiss from someone so kind made your face blush, "We both start at one end of the pocky, taking bits till one of us reaches the middle first or pulls away." Her face blushed slightly as you spoke, her cheeks a soft pink as she nodded waiting patiently for you to offer the pocky and begin.

"Chocolate or stick?" You asked nervously, holding the pocky up to her while your heart started to beat harder in your chest. "Hmmm chocolate!" She gently took the pocky from you, putting the chocolate side in her mouth and leaning in so you could reach the other end, the two of you taking small bites till the tips of your noses were touching. Your faces each flashing red as you closed the gap, the sweet taste of chocolate on your lips as the two of you pulled away.

𑁍༄Freminet:

(I use the nickname Fremmy here...its cute okay!)

"Hi Fremmy! Whatcha working on?" You asked with a smile, leaning in slightly to see some type of mechanical machine, Freminets hands busy putting the pieces together like a puzzle only he could understand. "Oh hello...it's a prop for Lyney and Lynettes magic show, I... can't tell you exactly what for though. I'm...sworn to secrecy." He pulled away from his work table, a light blush on his face as he let you exam his newest creation...and despite looking at it for a couple minutes...you had absolutely no idea what it was.

"Well it looks cool whatever it is..., anyways! Remember how you said you'd never had pocky before? Well I got some and I was thinking we could do that challenge I told you about." You held up the box of sweets for him, watching as his light blush deepened to a dark red colour and he looked away shyly, "I-i...um. O-okay." You giggled as you opened the packaging, holding the pocky for him to take, chocolate side pointed in his direction.

"Remember the rules?" He nodded as he put the candy in his mouth, letting you have the other side while his heart pounded in his chest...but before you could even take a second bite..he pulled away out of nervousness, apologizing profusely and congratulating you on your easy win. In the end you sat down beside him on a nearby couch, sharing the sticks between the two of you the normal way while he talked about future inventions.

𑁍༄Lynette:

"You want to...try the pocky challenge with me?" Lynettes monotone voice had the slightest hint of curiousity, her violet eyes on the box of treats you'd gotten only moments earlier and her face ever so lightly pink, she had never tried the challenge before and the idea of sharing the new experience with you...was like a magic wish come true. "Mhm! Do you want the coated side or the stick?" You asked holding the pocky out for her to examine, ultimately she choose the breadstick side watching you intently as you put the chocolate end in your mouth.

Before you could properly take a bite she was at the other end, munching away rhythmically at a incredibly fast pace, till before you knew it her face was right up against yours, your eyes meeting hers your cheeks turned bright red. Her soft lips grazed yours as she took the final bite, pulling away with a small satisfied smile. "Seems I won...I enjoy this game. Shall we try again?"

𑁍༄Neuvillette:

Neuvillette was silent, his cheeks ever so lightly pink as you explained the rules of the pocky challenge, the hidden truth of it clear as day. He knew that if he agreed to said challenge, he could end up receiving a kiss from you and the thought of such a beautiful thing made his heart skip a beat, but...would he be able to stop himself at just one? Perhaps it would be better to decline...and ask for a kiss instead, then his motives would be clear at least...

"Neuvillette?" You smiled, patiently waiting for his response, unaware of the slight dilemma he was having with himself. "Apologies, I was lost in thought...I suppose a challenge would be alright, as long as everything is legal." His eyes met yours as you giggled happily, handing him the chocolaty dessert and watching in excitement as he put the coated end in his mouth, his blush darkening with each moment.

You took the breadstick part in your mouth, nibbling away at it slowly and savouring it's yummy flavour on your tongue as your heart rate increased, your face growing warmer as you got closer and closer to him. With only the smallest bit of pocky left between the two of you, you paused waiting to see what he'd do next and humming in delight as he took the last bite, closing the gap. Your lips touched for just a moment and just as he had expected, it wasn't enough...his hands holding your face as he kissed you again...preferring you over the candy.

𑁍༄Clorinde:

Clorinde sighed quietly, unsure wether to agree to share your snack with you...and possibly end up in a situation that would leave her blushed and quite possibly falling even harder for you or to disagree and play it safe, but always wonder if she should have said yes. Eventually her violet eyes met yours, her brows turned down slight as if she was annoyed, "I agree to your challenge, but I do hope you know...I'll show no mercy. As a champion duelist I take no challenge lightly."

"Yay! Do you want the chocolate end of the pocky or the breadstick part? I'm fine with either." You held up your snack for her, watching curiously as she examined it carefully, as if it could possibly be poisoned...even though you'd already eaten some of them. "I'll take the part without chocolate, thank you." You nodded in response, cheerfully putting the chocolate side in your mouth and wiggling the stick in front of her while she raised a eyebrow at you.

She leaned in, taking small bites of the pocky and finding it rather difficult to concentrate on the treat itself as she became acutely aware of how close your face was to hers. The gap growing smaller as you both ate away at the yummy treat, until your noses were touching and she took the last bite, pulling away so quickly that you were still left in the same stance in shock. "I win." She said quietly, her face blushed red and her lips touched with a bit of melted chocolate,...

"How about 2 outta 3?"

Fontaine Women x Reader, Headcannons/drabbles?

Contents : Lynette, Navia, Clorinde, Focalors || Cuddling, Court Trials, Established Relationship, All women are separate

Word Count : a little under 700 in total, abt 100-200 each Extra : Not Proof Read, First time writing for a few of these characters| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lynette

- Lynette is a hard working individual, she often will come home extremely tired after doing a show with her brother and having to be the main one in the act besides her brother who was the star of the show, she just had to be the prop and do dangerous things

- When she comes home, and you’re sitting on your living room sofa, she quickly flops down on top of you and rests her head on your chest, purring softly like a small little kitten, she feels comfortable and slowly recharging in your presence and laying on your chest

- Once she wakes up she gets immediately flustered once she notices she's been laying on your chest and purring, she sits up and apologizes, but instead you pull her down back to your chest and she accepts it while you pet her head, and she goes back to sleep

- Whenever Lynette notices you're at one of her and her brothers shows, she immediately gets 10x happier and feels the obligation to work 10x harder than she normally would.

Navia

- Navia is the type of girlfriend to instead of laying on your chest, have you lay on hers, even if she had a bad day that's what she prefers, just having your head on her chest while you both hold each other.

- She's the type to every time you have a date, bring you flowers or chocolate. Even if you're going to a place where it's not appropriate to give those, she still does anyway.

- If you ever get insecure about your body, she will spend hours kissing over your body where your comfortable at LEAST 5 times, its normally around 10 times that she will.

- Navia likes coming up behind you and holding you by the waist and placing her head on your shoulder and just relaxing her eyes, sometimes she’ll sneak up on you by flying down by her umbrella and then doing it.

Clorinde

- Clorinde despite Navia and Lynette is not mainly the cuddly type, she’ll put her hand around you every once in a while, but never in public. In fact, she acts like she almost doesn't know you in public. But you’ve shouted to the whole world that you’re dating the great Clorinde, so everyone knows.

- Despite not being the cuddly type, Clorinde still at least a bit romantic, she kisses you a few times every morning and 2 more times before you or her leave for daily duties. Its whoever leaves earlier really.

- She will bring you home small things everyday, wether it be a small box of chocolates, or a rose or two, she still always finds a way to gift you

- When a day has been rough, she kinda (surprisingly) really just wants to lay her head on your lap and look up and you, wondering ‘how did they romance me..’

Focalors

- You’re watching one of the court trials Focalors is in with Neuvillette, She's winking at you occasionally before it starts. Once the court trial does start, you hear the claims of the accused. “Do you plead guilty, or not guilty, to murdering your wife in your shared home?” and Focalors immediately perks up, she is excited for a possible execution to happen.

- Once the court trial is done, she packs up a few things she brought with her and leaves through a few doors to come see you, as she immediately jumps on your back (or if you're shorter than her, she comes up and hugs you really tightly.) as you almost fall over from the sudden actions she preformed.

- A few minutes later she drags you home to talk about the court trial details and to sum them up, this was really the only trial she wasn't bored at so she knew the details. You were just happy to hear her talk, afterall. It is your girlfriend.

- She likes laying literally anywhere on you and talking about something random, you want her to lay on your chest? Done in two seconds. You want her to lay on your lap? gladly.
