Max resting her head on El's shoulder while she reads her a Wonder Woman comic. Max helps her pronounce words she gets stuck on because she already knows it by heart

She gets a walking stick but feels weird about using it in public in case it makes people stare at her. Will gets insistent about going places with her and is like "don't worry you're not what anyone's looking at" and she's like "uh ok" and eventually just by bumping into him discovers that he's been in full wizard regalia with a staff the entire time to draw attention away from her

Eventually she tries to learn to skateboard a little bit again. mostly she forbids anyone to come with her because she wants to feel independent and not watched, but sometimes it's fun for El to come too because then she can be a little less careful and trust El to redirect her if she's about to crash into something

She wears those sunglasses from the mall montage all the time

El sits next to her at Lucas' basketball game, mouth to Max's ear narrating the whole thing over the noise, not having the first idea how basketball works, but that's ok because Max doesn't give af either beyond Lucas

HC: Post Starcourt Billy adopts a therapy dog- a pitbull named Scorpion. Billy calls him "Scorp" for short.

Scorp is a very nervous dog who usually doesn't go up to people, but he immediately goes right up to Billy, who's sitting down, and rests a paw on his knee.

Scorp was abandoned on July 4th, and he hates fireworks, so when Independence Day comes around, he and Billy cuddle together on the couch watching whatever's on TV. They calm each other down. Billy pets Scorp, and Steve holds Billy's hand.

Scorp is very overprotective of Billy.

Billy can't walk him for long- his heart is weak, and he's still going to rehab to strengthen his arms and legs. He can't move as fast anymore, plus he's got a portable oxygen tank to lug around. Scorp doesn't tug or rush him, though.

If Billy tries walking for more than his body can withstand, Scorp will bark at him, turn around, and point his nose in the direction of home, a safe place they share with Steve and his service dog, Lola (Steve has a peanut allergy).

Scorp adores Lola, and Max's seeing eye dog Rex. The jury is still out on Steve, but he's warming up to him.

Mogami. I don't think I have to explain this one.

Ritsu. He is going on a killing spree IMMEDIATELY the boy practically IS Light Yagami, his name is literally spelled with the kanji for justice and he already went on one power-hungry crusade, he is RIPE on the Kira tree og

Dimple. He already has the god complex down, he just has to get on board with the whole killing people thing—considering he's already an evil spirit, it wouldn't take much convincing tbh

Shou. He would cause SO much havoc with it but only for fun. For the meme. For the vine. He kills the Queen of England with it and cackles as he watches the ensuing flood of Megamind memes. He would also threaten his dad into compliance with it because the Death Note isn't Battle Based, it's Instadeath. "Ever go on TV and embarrass me like that again and you're going out by dysentery."

Takenaka. He's not a bad kid, but being telepathic would make him incredibly susceptible to wanting to take bad people out before they did anything wrong. Plus just getting them to shut up. That idiot that keeps having vivid erotic fantasy in the middle of science class has ONE more again before Takenaka would embrace his villain arc whole-heartedly. The only reason he's this far down is because I think he'd hesitate.

Tsubomi. I think she'd kill someone just to see if she could get away with it. Then she'd put it away and only bring it out when certain situations arose that needed a Quick Solution™. That girl knows what needs to be done and she does it—she decisive. Anything like Suzuki happens again and she just drops them dead on live television Lind L. Tailor style and then goes on about her day like nothing happened. All heroes wear pretty hair clips 🙏

Tome. I don't know how to explain this one. Vibes. She feels like she'd be gripped by the powerful urge to kill someone but it would take her a lot to go through with actually writing someone's name down. She'd want to test the Death Note first to see if it worked, so that's one person down, but anyone else would need to have either hurt her or her friends irreversibly, and even then it would probably be a one time thing. She'd use it far less than Tsubomi—two people might actually be her max.

Serizawa. I hc that people with psychic powers can see the Death Note's bad jujus or whatever, so he wouldn't have to test it to know it would work, but I still think he'd use it. If he found it while he was still with Claw, he'd use it because it was easier to kill someone that way than with his psychic powers. Even if it he found it after Claw, it'd be the same reasoning. He's definitely killed people in the past and if someone hurt his friends or his mother he'd very much take the easy out of simply writing down a name rather than going for a fight. He'd still feel really bad about it though, so it'd probably only happen once.

Minori. She uses it to see if it's real, finds that it very much is, and then locks it away in her room. She won't use it, but it'll be a constant thought in her mind. A very real temptation.

Emi. She uses it once out of curiosity to see if it's real, then buries it in the woods where no one will ever find it...but she can go back for it if she ever needs it.

Hanazawa. He's reformed but his temper is still something to behold. He's only this far down the list because he's got that "I could kill you with my powers why would I need a book to do it for me" swag ✨

Shimazaki. Similar to Teru but less reformed. "I would just kill you with my powers why would I need a notebook" two electric boogaloo. Plus he's blind and idk if the Death Note takes braille or morse code.

Toichiro. The ULTIMATE "I'll just kill you with my powers I don't fucking need that thing"

Shinra. He wouldn't use it, but he'd absolutely make the mistake of picking it up and handing it over to someone that WOULD use it (cough rising sun psychic division cOugh)

Onigawara. Talks big shit about using it, but would never. Likes to think he COULD use it though, even though he's too upright for it.

Reigen. Picks it up out of curiosity and gets a laugh out of it, but doesn't test it. He's seen enough shit to be cautious though, so he has Mob look it over and then burns it once Mob confirms it's got bad vibes.

Mob. Sees bad vibes. Doesn't even pick it up. Blasts it into ash and goes home without thinking about it again. Buys milk on the way there.

favorite David headcannon:

Okay this is a long one so just hold on: I HC David at first loved the *concept* and "legacy" of Camp Campbell rather than what it actually was. He idolized Cameron and he idolized this experience he had as a child rather than having a love for the reality of it. He wanted these kids to relive that same experience rather than have a version of their own. This isn't to say he's malicious or something and he's all "it's my way or the highway" it's actually just him being blinded my his emotional attachment. Although these kids were rude and cursed and often were unengaged or hard to deal with, Season 1 David I don't genuinely believe was willing to hear them out on what THEY wanted and just wanted to give them that same "authentic, on brand camp campbell experience" he had. He loved doing his job to work TOWARDS that, to spread this good feeling this he realized this place brought and make them see it to.

Actually working with these kids? was actually a hassle. If season 1 David was given the option to trade them out for a different group that was more willing to participate in his activities I think he actually would've stewed on it and rationalized to himself how "I'm sure these kids will be happier spending their summer elsewhere and they'll probably all come back next year anyways after I do such a great job with this new group that camp campbell gets put on the map as the best summer camp ever" Because David occasionally DOES act selfishly he just never acts so INTENTIONALLY. Being blind to his flaws is one OF those flaws.

It takes him awhile to even remember these kids' names. He has a different situation with Max, this favoritism, bc he wants this "realization" for him to happen more than the rest like he had at his age, because he reminds him of himself. He remembers Max's name bc he's been there more than just that summer, one of few if not the only repeating camper.

This all sort of comes to a head at order of the sparrow. David is at a very low point in his goal and he doesn't know how to get through to them. He doesn't even think about asking these kids what they want. His big fix-all plan, this great idea he has to bring everyone together and get them to have the same spark he went through is to repeat a big camp campbell tradition.

Reiterating his emotional attachment to it's "legacy" rather than the reality of the situation.

I also believe, at the end of the same episode, when everyone dresses up and starts the bonfire, it's the start of the turning point for David.

During the parent's day episode, David is ENTIRELY preoccupied with pleasing Cameron. Covering up for Cameron. Helping. Cameron. Ect. Max has been kinda a little shit here or there, (comments on Gwen's weight, ect) but when they're about to go on stage he's?? actually not?? No, he's setting a firm, clear, boundary. This kid is yelling "I don't want to do this" and David actually yells back at him, and even if Gwen never found those papers, he still would've been somewhat in the wrong for that, and wouldn't have even realized.

He would've made Max put on a show to save Cameron's hide and he wouldn't have saw problem with it. Not out of anything malicious, again, he's just blinded by emotional attachment.

So when there's soild proof in his face, he has this moment of realization that comforting and listening to Max is the more important thing to handle. That's the end of the turning point for David. The kids' are not important just to help the camp be a camp, the kids are important to him.

When Mr.Campbell comes back for revenge (and David has to take an entire episode to have that spelled out for him bc, again, he's blinded by this idolized version of him) He even says this to him.

"All you care about is these stupid kids!" "That's. That's the job. You really don't get that, do you?"

After that, from season 1 to 4, David goes from prioritizing his memory-made idolized fantasy to prioritizing the kids. He went from struggling to remember their names and not bothering to be polite about it, to having an itemized list on each of their individual needs because he's gotten to know them so well and has really grown to care about them. (If you're wondering what I'm talking about when Cameron gets left in charge for the night he tries referencing this list basically, specifically Nurf being the one who needs a tough-love approach)

Max may have started out as the favorite but as time went on his affection and attachment to the rest of the campers' grew aswell and YES David is going to cry at the thought of parting ways with all these kids at the end of summer from Nurf to Spacekid and everyone in-between.

summary: there is a massive difference between the two words, but sylvie was more than willing to blur out the line if it means for her to spend some time with what others called her soulmate, max verstappen.

one, it’s time to go: sylvie attended a christmas party and couldn’t seem to do what she normally did on the paddock: avoid max

two, closure: her memories haunted her so much that the red bull team principal thought of her to be incompetent, so it was only ideal of max to face the music too.

three, goodnight n go: she wasn't sure what was more surprising: toto's presence on her graduation celebration or max's expensive graduation gifts.

four, gorgeous: there's nothing more satisfying than seeing christian horner own up to his own mistake. that, and max's office-warming gift that he dropped off in sylvie's new on-site office.

five, cinema: sylvie was left feeling unsure when she and max did things that friends normally wouldn't do after she was broken up with by another man. (16+)

six, satellite: max verstappen might've avoided talking about what they had done before all of this, but he was certain he wouldn't get out of his way just to ignore her as he swore not to her one way or another ever again.

seven, mean: sylvie found herself with a million and a half pounds and winning against the boys who brought her racing career to an early end.

eight, long story short: they're friends, they said. they bought a house and adopted a dog together, they definitely did.

nine, mastermind: max wasn't going to admit that he was jealous. he wasn't going to tell her that he sabotaged her blind date, either. not that she didn't know.

ten, comfort crowd: ah yes, the first monday of may. when everyone speculated that sylvie was merely using him and when she finally admitted to missing him for the past four years.

eleven, matilda: they don't know much, maybe, but they know how they'll raise their children away from the toxicity that they grew up in, all thanks to their fathers who did nothing but set expectations. (hc)

extra: matilda volume two, smau: set years after the tltl series in which sylvie and max have the most adorable set of kids called emilia, lila and maximilian. (f)

twelve, wild: sylvie is smart and she was always quick to realize things. what she did not expect, however, was realize that she was in love with her best friend.

hi imagine max braiding mike's hair. like she's blind and she just really needs some texture and mike is sitting right in front of her. mike tenses when she digs her hands into his hair but relaxes when he realizes what's happening. they never talk about it but it's very calm. it becomes pretty common and it becomes like an assigned seat for mike to sit in front of max whenever. max's always super gentle (i hc mike as tender headed, but max manages to never hurt him). the party notices that as long as you're gentle mike likes his hair being played with. it's also the only way to get him to contently sit still so dustin takes advantage of that. but lucas ruffles his hair and el asks mike (now that max has shorter hair) to try hair styles on (she has to really try to to be gentle and she's not always but mike sita through it because he wants his friends to be happy. it's not the worst) and byler cuddling and will playing with his hair <3 also will is gay for mike with a braid (same)

It's that El wants to paint (she doesn't care what color as long as the walls don't stay white, it reminds her of the lab) and she wants Max in on the decision. Max thinks this is ludicrous - why should El not paint the walls her own favorite colors? El tells her that this is her home, too, and it matters to her that Max would like what it looks like even if she can't see it.

Erm…season 5 hcs/predictions 😔😔 (in my stranger things era) Also long post

So. We know a glimpse of the script got leaked? Well if you didn’t here:

So we know it’s Will, like duh. I think it’s gonna be a flashback to season 1. I have/had a few Headcanons, since Yk how season 4 ended.

It’s gonna take place in a dangerous upside down like, post apocalyptic environment.

Dart might make a comeback, like in the tunnels, Dustin giving him a three musketeer broke its connection with the mind flayer.

He might befriend the group

After he tries to rip Mike’s arm off

Because he tries to pull a Jurassic park move and got Tessa’d

Mike gets seriously hurt 3 seconds into the apocalypse, Dart puts a huge scar/bite mark on his wrist and hand and get his calf bitten and torn by a demogorgan

Will helps (duh)

All the demo creatures get released

People die

El and Mike split up cuz toxicity (and El is an independent woman)

The kid gang is 17/18, the older teens (Steve and Jonathan for ex) around 23/24 and the adults don’t really matter, and Erica is 14

We have a heartfelt Byler coming out scene

The byler kiss takes place in the worst and angsty time possible

Will gets taken by vecna

Idrc if Eddie comes back

Max is permanently blind with messed up bones

They live in Hopper’s cabin

The byler kiss I want to take place in A) The rain while they are having a dispute about whether one goes to save or kill something or B) In castle Byers in the upside down before it was destroyed

Kinda want Rockie, Jopper, Jancy, Lumax, Duzie, and of course can’t forget Will and Mike.

I want a mutual break up between Mileven

No hard feelings between them

I want them to fight Vecna and close the gates

I want them to find Lonnie’s dead body

Dart could be a pet

Will did not agree and Mike doesn’t like dart

Angela dies some how

We get a bunch of fight, fear, and flashbacks

Some angsty romance

Suzie comes back

And a happy ending

Will almost dies

So silly. I doubt my Apocolyptic theme is going to happen but I really like this and have made fan art so yup!

i lowkey confuse headcanons with predictions. i kinda always think of plausible scenarios and i think headcanons are more like “wills scared of thunder storms” or something like that lmao. so yes, but these are also things i genuinely think could happen in s5.

byler:

s5 ends with a prom and mikes anxious to go with will and will keeps reassuring him that theyre going in a big group and no one will question them. a slow song plays and theyre just sitting at a table and then mike gets up and leads him to a room in the school (maybe the room hellfire was in) and they slow dance and laugh and have fun and feel free.

in the original character description for mike he was written to have a huge birthmark on his face that he was insecure of and bullied for. i think itd be interesting if a monster gave him a big face scar and will would still call him beautiful.

when they were kids i think they were so close and had so many sleepovers and held hands and stuff that a lot of lonnies homophobic comments were directly from seeing will around mike. id love if one of them brought this up during a sentimental talk.

again, not really a headcanon, more of a prediction: THE PAINTING REVELATION IS NOT A FIGHT!!!!!!!!

i believe max will be blind in s5 and i want lucas to take her to a movie and describe everything thats happening and not care when people try to shush him

he helps her skateboard while blind and guides her

this is kinda more max centered than lumax but if she is blind, i hope she has a moment of clarity that helps defeat vecna thats not visual. like the whole groups thinking of his weaknesses and how to kill him but theyre all thinking of what they know just from what theyve seen but maybe max picked up on something with sound or texture and it leads to them saving the day and living happily ever after the end.

i was thinking about your “the sinclairs love steve” hc today (which is so so choice a+ sue and charles are like “oh this kid saved erica from the mall fire and went to all of lucas’s games? that’s our son now we’re fuckign on. board. square tf up harringtons he’s ours now”) and because hairdresser steve lives rent free in my heart at all times it got me Thinking Thoughts. bc i love love love hcs of steve having girls nights with the party and doing the girls’ hair, right? like he learns fancy braids for max and he helps el experiment with styles to feel confident while it’s growing out (and i fully believe he would step in and offer to rescue will from joyce’s mixing bowls) but erica’s hair is a totally different beast, and he could really fuck it up going in blind, but now she feels left out :( and he can’t have that, that’s his kid! scoops troop for life babey! so he asks sue for tips, and that’s another way he gets folded into the sinclair family

(is this thought inspired by me, A White, asking my ex gf’s mom for lessons on how to properly retwist her locs after we moved in together in another state bc we were broke as shit and there weren’t any good black salons in our neighborhood, and i didn’t want her to have to feel some kind of way about her roots getting all frizzy, and how that was the first time i really felt like part of the family? irrelevant. anyway we’ve been broken up for 10 years but i still text her mom so 👍)

This made me think of the posts going around about Steve becoming a hairdresser and then this ask just me think that maybe he would specifically learn how to handle ALL hair types for this reason.

“I never want to have to turn someone away just because I don’t know how to handle their hair.”

Sure, he ends up taking a lot longer through school and through his apprenticeships in barbershops and salons, but he gets there.

The Sinclairs are always free though.

- max isn’t afraid to joke abt being blind. the party used to be a little hesitant to joke along with her but they’ve since come around. mike specifically likes to make dumbass puns like “hey you should come with us to dinner! make it a blind date heheheheheh” he subsequently gets punched in the arm with surprising accuracy (not cuz it offended her but cuz it was a bad joke aksdfjkhgs)

- nancy braids and brushes and styles max’s hair for her (she can do most of that stuff herself but nancy’s sisterly touch makes max happy)

- the party still goes to movies together all the time. they’re not ashamed to tell max absolutely everything that’s going on despite the annoyed hushes from the rest of the audience (dustin constantly gets in “SHH!!” contests with other ppl ajhsdfgjhg)

- max: steve, u should let me drive this time

steve: UHH?? ABSOLUTELY NOT

max: wooooow. just cuz im blind??? wooooww

the rest of the party: wooooooow steve

- el helps max with shopping clothes at the mall just like max helped el

- max isn’t the most touchy-feely person but two exceptions are lucas and el. at any given moment she’s holding one of the two’s hands. they ground her in public :)
