Second, I beg you to look up or watch content from people diagnosed with psychopathy or ASPD. A lot of the traits and repetitive behaviors and hyperfixations that people point out are also symptoms of psychopathy.

Like, a lot of the things Hannibal does also align very heavily with OCD. But there are comorbidities and overlap of symptoms, etc.

(None of what I'm saying really matters or holds any water idek why the autism theory bugs me; probably bc I have OCD and am v sensitive to ppl claiming they have it bc they're "neat" or had an intrusive thought of throwing their phone across the room.)

Just saw a post talking about DSPS (Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome) and how stupid it is. Here's some important reminders:

Disorders are not discovered for the sake of disabled people.

Disorders depend on what is seen as desirable/undesirable in a society at their specific time period.

Disorders are a tool. Not the symptoms themselves, of course, but the classification is. It works to give people who have those an "other" status, separate them from "normal" people.

Not to mention the pathologization of completely normal things, like mentioned above. It is normal for people to have later sleep cycles, hell, DSPD's own description mentions how it's normal in teenagers. But it doesn't fit the work cycle set by capitalism, does it? It doesn't matter if humans evolved that way due to protection needs in the wild, if you can't abide by the set rules then there is something wrong with you. In their eyes, anyway.

There's a big movement within psychology of people who are against the DSM-5 and CID-11. People should get the help they need without being marginalized.

If you are disabled in any way, psychologically, physically, developmentally... please know there's nothing wrong with you, no matter how much society wants you to forcefully fit their bullshit standards.

Light also means clarity and importance, and all light characters are crucial to the story (Rose, Vriska, The Other Vriska..) — which like, while we have argued to death the idea that what made the dsmp important was how there wasn't A Main character, cDream as an antagonist/villain was this presence that loomed above every character and arc. When he logged in shit was about to go down. HE'S IMPORTANT. and he's focused with finding Meaning within the story. Why does he do half the things he does? from a metatextual perspective, it's because the server needs someone to go against the main goals, but then it's revealed that he only actually wanted to go back to where things made Sense (the beginning. when everyone was friends with each other). It made sense to live in the same server when everyone was collaborating with each other, not so much when there's literal nuke threats against each other.

Light players are obsessive and cunning, and they love to appear mysterious and disconnected. However......you changed my life with what you said about him not connecting correctly to his aspect through an invesion, and thus I propose: Prince of Light cDream that, as the session progresses, inverts to Seer of Void (and gets punished for it by the narrative). You get what I think? I think this guy getting too much on the out of the cameras, in the background "manipulation" is what ultimately drives him to his own detrimentem.
