Trembling, crawling across my skin, feeling your cold dead eyes, stealing the life of mine (Ch.5, The Finale)
This fanfiction story is my present for my friend @yujo-nishimura. I hope you still enjoy the story, my dear :)
Yujo's wedding dress is inspired by the green wedding dress from the show “Outlander”. Sorry, I'm not very good at writing church speeches. The scene in the church may seem unnatural because of this.
Description: The Wedding!
Warnings: The action takes place around the end of the 18th - beginning of the 19th century. NSFW part is included!
Words: 2924
Sir Crocodile x OC
The title is taken from “Dance with the Devil” by Breaking Benjamin.
English is not my native language, errors may occur. As always, feel free to share your thoughts :) Masterlist is here

Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4
✎﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
The week passed quickly. Yujo was busy preparing for the wedding, Helena was happy that she was receiving letters from Mihawk. He was away on business, but constantly sent news.
“God, sister! I can't wait for your wedding day!! This will be my official coming out as Draculе's bride.” Helena lay on the bed, kicking her legs happily. “God, I'm so happy! And you?”
“Can I ask? Are you waiting for my wedding to be happy for me or to go out with your swordsman?” Yujo smiled, looking at her sister.
“Why are you saying such offensive words?” Helena pouted and crossed her arms. “Of course, I’m happy for you. Aren't you happy?”
“Maybe. I don't understand it yet, to be honest.”
“A week has already passed. It's time to understand, sister!” Helena jumped up, ran to Yujo and began to smother her with his arms. “Promise that you will allow me to visit you? I will need to tell you everything. About everything! About my children and Mihawk, about our trips as a married couple.”
Yujo looked at her sister, inspired with happiness, and could not stop smiling. “You will always be welcomed, my little sister!’
The wedding day has finally arrived. From the very morning there was chaos in the Watton house. Helena ran around rooms, chasing one maid after another to help her get ready. Mihawk was supposed to come pick her up in a carriage, and she wanted to look her best.
“God. You might think it's you who's getting married, not your sister.” The father said, smiling.
“Da-a-a-ad!” Helena stamped her foot and almost cried. She ran to the second floor and opened the door to the bedroom.
“Your wedding day, Yujo!!” Helena screamed joyfully in the doorway.
Yujo sat at the dressing table and looked at herself in the mirror. Crocodile sent the best maid from his castle to their house to help to prepare her makeup and hairstyle for the ceremony.
Yujo’s hair was worn in soft curls or waves, with little to no height. Hairpins with lilies were stuck into her hair.
The dress was also made to order. Embroidered chest, off-the-shoulder neckline, thin lace sleeves, wide green silk skirt sewn in with fine silver threads. Details such as pleating and corsets were also chosen. Yujo gently ran her hand over the fabric several times and smiled.  "So beautiful."
“Miss, I’m sorry, but it’s time to get dressed.” One of the maids said quietly, stuttering.
“Oh. Sorry. Yes! Of course.”
The maids set up a screen and helped Yujo get dressed.
“Come out, come out, come out!!” Helena practically squealed with impatience.
One of the maids pulled back the screen while the other two straightened the hem of her dress.
“How do I look?" Yujo asked nervously.
Helena folded her hands together, pressed them to her chest and fought back tears. “God! You look amazing!! Your dress is even green, to match the future Madame Crocodile.”
Yujo suddenly laughed. She walked up to Helena and hugged her. “Who will amuse me in the evenings, my dear sister? I'll miss your stupid jokes.”
“In any case, I wouldn’t amuse you for long, given the fact that I’m getting married soon.” Helena wrinkled her nose. “You didn't say anything about my dress, by the way!”
Helena spun around a couple of times. She wore a cream-colored silk satin dress with long, loose, translucent sleeves. The high collar was decorated with a lace pattern, and the waist was outlined with a wide silk belt. Mihawk had given her that dress, which made Helena even happier.
“You look amazing, sister!” Yujo's voice trembled.
Their father invited both sister into the carriage. Yujo's feet were getting cold. Her heart jumped with excitement every time she heard the clatter of horses' hooves. She couldn't believe she was going to marry Crocodile. She was nervous, she was worried. The man she'd kissed in the office just a week ago, whose lips had made her legs tingle, was about to become her husband.
“It’s hard to breathe.” Yujo said quietly.
“It’s just pre-wedding jitters, sister!” Helena stroked Yujo’s back. “Everything will be fine!”
The carriage pulled up to a large blue and white cathedral. The carriage door opened and Yujo saw a yellow-colored carpet leading directly into the building. Their father walked up to the carriage and offered his daughters his hands. Helena pecked her sister on the cheek and ran off squealing into the cathedral.
“How are you?” Her father asked her.
“I'm fine. I'm a little nervous.”
“Well, it's normal to be nervous. I felt the same way when I married your mother. You're marrying a worthy man, my dear daughter.” He stroked her cheek.
Yujo shook her head slightly and squared her shoulders. “How do I look?”
“Like a queen!” With a tremor in his voice, her father said.
He took her hand and slowly led her down the aisle.
The inside of the cathedral seemed larger than the outside. The white color and the golden columns added space. The entire room was filled with flowers. Everyone sighed as soon as they entered the main hall.
Yujo looked at the guests with her eyes. Yes, the highest levels of society were indeed gathered here. Helena waved happily at her from the front row, standing with her swordsman. Yujo looked down the aisle and saw Crocodile. He wore a three-piece blue-green suit. Edges, buttons, and pockets embroidered in pink and green, and cuffs of pink corded silk, also embroidered finished with lace flounce.
Yujo felt her hands sweating and her legs moving treacherously slowly. However, she felt the butterflies in her stomach, which increased her heart beat. She didn’t hear the music, and she tried to hide her smile.
Yujo was escorted down the aisle with her father, who stood on her left side. Together, they processed down the aisle towards Crocodile. Once they had reached the altar, the groom turned around and took a step forward to greet his bride. Yujo took her place next to Crocodile, standing on his left.
“You look wonderful, miss Yujo!” Crocodile took her hand and kissed it. Goosebumps ran all over Yujo's body.
“Thank you! I can say the same about you!”
“I have another gift for you!” He bowed and made a gesture with his hand. Mister Three looked at Yujo and held up a red velvet cushion. Yujo saw a silver tiara with a pattern of intertwined laurel leaves.
“How beautiful!” She whispered and lightly poked at the pillow.
“A royal tiara for the future queen!” Crocodile replied in a firm voice. He took the ornament from the pillow, tsked at Mister Three, and as soon as he was gone, Crocodile put the tiara on Yujo's head.
A relatively tall male who wore flamboyant ballet clothes with a swan theme and was dressed in a pink overcoat and blue medieval garments walked down the aisle. He cleared his throat.
“In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
“Amen.” Assembly responded.
“Grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
“And with your spirit.” Assembly responded.
“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God to witness and celebrate the holy union of Yujo and Sir Crocodile.”
“Dear Yujo and Crocodile, have you come here to enter into marriage without coercion, freely and wholeheartedly?”
“I have.” Both replied.
“Are you prepared, as you follow the path of marriage, to love and honor each other for as long as you both shall live?”
“I am.” Both replied.
“Since it is your intention to enter the covenant of Holy Matrimony, join your right hands, and declare your consent before God and his Church.”
Crocodile took Yujo’s hands in his hand.
“I, Yujo , take you, Sir Crocodile, to be my husband. I promise to be faithful to you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love you and to honor you all the days of my life.”
“I, Sir Crocodile, take you, Yujo, to be my wife. I promise to be faithful to you, in good times
"Bring the rings!" The priest said.
Crocodile made a hook gesture and Mister Three brought the rings lying on a blue cushion. It was two black and gold rings with a moss agate in the middle and small diamonds around the edges for Yujo and a stone-less version for Crocodile.
The priest sprinkled the wedding rings with holy water before handing them to each partner.
“Yujo, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the father, and the son, and the Holy Spirit.” Crocodile placed the ring on Yujo’s hand.
“Crocodile, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the father, and the son, and the Holy Spirit.” She placed the ring on his hand.
“In the sight of God and these witnesses, I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss!”
Crocodile hugged Yujo with his hook and pulled her closer. He kissed her hungrily, as if he wanted to show that she was his now.
“Go in peace to glorify the Lord with your life.”
“Thanks be to God.” Assembly responded.
“So, now you’re mine, miss Yujo. Since now and forever.” Crocodile whispered in her ear.
“Now and forever.” She repeated after him quietly.
He took her by the arm and led her out of the cathedral to the orchestral version of “My Sails Are Set.” Yujo glanced at the guests. Helena practically drowned in tears, burying her face in her swordsman's chest. Father and mother smiled sincerely. She glanced at Mister Three. He was clearly annoyed. Their engagement was called off, and Crocodile forced him to serve him at their wedding. Such humiliation was difficult to bear.
Crocodile opened the carriage door and helped Yujo up. They drove to his castle. After a while, the guests arrived for the gala dinner.
The men retired to Crocodile's office to celebrate the wedding and congratulate themselves on being kings of the world. The girls were in the dining room at this time. It was unusual to Yujo that the maids in Crocodile's castle already treated her as a full-fledged mistress of the house.
As dinner came to an end and the guests began to disperse, Helena ran up to Yujo and hugged her tightly. "I love you so much, my sister!!!”
“I'll come to see you tomorrow!” Yujo hugged Helena tightly.
The maids escorted her upstairs to her bedroom. As she looked around the spacious gray-green room, she didn't see Crocodile return.
“I hope you're happy with today, Miss Yujo!” He said, taking her hand. Yujo felt a thousand little electric shocks run through her body as he began to run the fingers of his hand over her wrist.
“If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go to the bathroom to clean up before I go to bed.” She whispered excitedly, removing his hand.
“You don’t need to ask my permission. My castle is your castle. And my maids are your maids.” He looked at her instantly.
Not knowing why, but Yujo bowed slightly and quickly left for the bathroom. She sat down on the pouffe. Everything around her was in green and gold colors. Yujo looked at herself in the mirror. The mere thought of her first wedding night with Crocodile made her blush and look like a beet. Her father had always been very strict about her interactions with young men and any advances from potential suitors.
She took a deep breath and pulled the tiara and the hairpins out of her hair. She shook her head, straightening her hair. Furthermore, she kept repeating to herself that it was all for her father's sake, to strengthen the family's position, afraid to admit that she had fallen in love with Crocodile. She had only read about those feelings in the books she and her sister hid from their parents under the mattress.
She got up from the pouf, took three more deep breaths, and walked back out into the room. Crocodile was standing near the window, sipping slowly from a glass of whiskey.
"You're back." He turned to her, set the glass aside, took two large steps toward her and placed his hook on her waist. He put his other hand on her cheek and pulled her toward him. Before she understood anything, he kissed her. His tongue was sliding across her mouth.
His kisses were so respectful and so soft that she had to close her eyes and turn off all her senses just to notice that he was there. She wrapped her arms around his shoulder and let out a thin moan.
He suddenly ran his hand down her back, searching for the strings on her dress. Yujo helped untie the ties on her dress without taking her lips off his. He hissed through the kiss as he removed her dress. She quickly moved her hands to his clothes and began undoing the buttons on his shirt and pants. He quickly walked her towards the bed and gently pushed Yujo onto the mattress. Yujo propping herself up on her forearms and watching with a quirked, challenging eyebrow. She was focused on his face. He took off his own underwear quickly. No teasing. No kisses. She wanted to touch him, but also she was shy. She was shy of her feelings and shy of strange desire of his body.
Crocodile walked up to the bed and bowed to Yujo. He started kissing her. He kissed her greedily until they both ran out of breath. He ran his hook along the outer and inner sides of her thigh.
“But if you don't want to, Miss Yujo, I won't touch you.” He whispered near her lips.
“I think it's too late to say no, isn't it?” She tried to joke.
She put her hand on his neck and pulled him in for another kiss. He picked her up with one hand and laid her on the bed. Yujo’s cheeks flushed. Her month red. She looked between his legs and returned her gaze to Crocodile.
“More than you expected?” He grinned, knee pressing into the mattress.
Her hand grabbing his arm. Crocodile let himself fall onto her. Gently. With an obscene whisper of skin against skin and a mingled groan.
Their lips were entangled. Crocodile found himself sinking into the sensation of her bare skin on his, sinking into the sensation of her hair as he angled her head, sinking into the sensation of her mouth as she let him. Here her inexperience occurred. The almost-shy way she ran her hands down his back. Crocodile ripped off her bra with his hook and kissed her again. He moved down to her chin and collarbone.
Crocodile put his hook on her waist and let his another hand fall to the inside of her thigh, as his mouth moved lower. He licked the underside of her breast. Yujo jumped and shivered as he traced his tongue to the tip of her nipple. Yujo parted her legs slightly and Crocodile grinned, taking that as an invitation.
Before entering her. Crocodile paused, catching Yujo’s gaze. She nodded slightly. Crocodile laid his full weight on her and slowly entered her. She tensed and pursed her lips.
“Don't worry, the pain will go away soon.” He said and began to move slowly back and forth.
Yujo’s heart began to race with his every movement. Crocodile dropped his head against hers, closing his eyes. She covered her mouth with her hand, felt his pace begin to quicken with each passing second, and the sounds he uttered became louder. Crocodile pumps against her cervix every time as she swings between cries of discomfort muffled into her hand and groans for more, pleasure-pain. She dug her fingers into his back, feeling the pain gradually go away with his every thrust.
“Moan for me, miss Yujo.” Crocodile whispered in her ear, and started speeding up his pace.
She didn't even notice how she started moaning into his mouth and pulled him closer to her. He ran his tongue over her bottom lip, wanting one more entrance in her mouth. He slid his tongue into her mouth, rubbing it over hers with a moan. She moaned and slowly moved her hips up to meet his every thrust. He moaned, moving his hips down against hers as he thrusts her harder. He started kissing her neck, then moved down to her hippies and gently touched them with his lips. He brought his lips back to hers, kissing her deeply.
She moaned and picked up her pace some. She moaned, feeling him go deeper and harder. He moaned, biting his lip as he felt himself getting close.
“You’re so good, my miss Yujo!” He groaned into her ear.
“You feel amazing.” She moaned out, understanding she was close.
She smiled and moaned his name over and over. He looked down at her and smiled, kissing her softly before moving off her.
“Are you ok?” He asked and looked into her eyes.
“Yeah.” She didn’t notice how she ran her hands over his hair.
He pulled the cover over their bodies and slid his arms around her, kissing her forehead. He started stroking her hair.
“I'm glad your father agreed to our marriage. Now you are mine, miss Yujo. Now and forever.”
“Now and forever.” She repeated quietly.

The scariest people are never the ones who immediately creep you out. They are the ones who are expert at seeming trustworthy. You may already know someone like this, and not realize it yet.
Be it on the Internet or in real life, it is important to be cautious around anyone who starts suggesting things you aren't comfortable with or asking for information that is none of their business.
Things no one taught you about the Internet!
Starting with minors (17 and under in the US)
DON'T POST YOUR AGE! Or age rage. Or birth year. Do not write 'minor' in your bio. This is probably the most common and most dangerous mistake! You will be actively targeted.
Don't pretend you're an adult!!! If a creep sees that you wrote 18 or older but act like a minor, they will do all the same tricks to become your friend, and know they have a legal loophole because they can always claim they didn't know! This is almost more dangerous than just saying "I'm a kid, come hurt me"
Instead just don't say anything! Don't post it anywhere, and don't add it to your bio. If someone asks you for your age, just block them.
Don't share your name or nickname! Even if you don't share your last name, they can pick up enough details about you over time that even a first name is enough to find you.
Instead, use a totally different name! Something like Eli_Bloodsucker is way more fun, just don't use it if your real name or even a real life nickname is Eli, Eliza, Ellie, or anything else even remotely similar!
Don't talk to anyone directly! Be it in comments or asks or in direct messages, they're all dangerous. It doesn't matter if they say they are a minor or an adult. If you can't see their face, don't talk to them. If you find a real life friend you didn't know had an account, don't talk to them. That might not be your friend. You can text your friend directly or talk to them in real life about it later.
Instead, just spread positivity purely form likes and reblogs. Pretend the comment and chat buttons are lava or acid or something. Don't touch them.
Don't share ANYTHING about where you live. Not even country. Don't tell someone about how it's always humid where you live or that there's a storm where you are.
Instead, you can share about weather vaguely later. For example, "a few months ago it snowed and I slipped on ice."
Don't, talk about an activity that would even hint that you are a minor. Don't talk about school, don't talk about piano lessons, don't talk about martial arts class, or football practice. Don't mention growing out of your clothes. Don't mention how your mom grounded you. Don't talk about your little brother barging into your room.
Instead, before posting any stories from your real life, ask yourself if this could also easily apply to someone in their 20s living with roommates instead of family members and working a full-time job. If the answer is yes, then post it, if not, don't. (Good example: I burnt my eggs but I didn't want to waste it so I still ate it. Bad example: My dad made me eggs this morning even though I hate them, and made me eat them.)
Don't post or share pictures or videos of yourself online. Someone can either use it to find you or steal them to lure your friends or other people your age into trusting them.
Instead, find a picture of a duck with a mustache online, and make that you're profile picture. Find a map of Australia and post that as your "outfit check". Way more fun.
Do not trust the person who reblogged this. Do not trust the original poster. Creeps will sometimes post about Internet safety as part of their plan to make you trust them.
So how can you tell who to trust, and who not to? You can't! That's the Internet. Better to play it safe than to risk your actual life over a post or a trend
Adult Internet safety:
Idk, it's your life. You know the consequences you might face. Make your own damn decisions. If your dad can't tell you what to do, then I sure can't.
Oh, and don't interact with people you know, or think, are kids. There is help available for those who are tempted to do this. Don't go down that path. There are resources, there are other ways. Having thoughts isn't a crime, acting on them is. PLEASE talk to a licensed professional.

"Told you so..." - Part 9
This is a private ongoing fic just for me and @lostfirefly
Since tumblr doesn't let me post it privately I need to share it publicly, but feel free to scroll through the content, since this is just for our own amusement. ;)
Tumblr media
As soon as the two former prisoners exited the small chamber, a swarm of guards descended the stairs, attempting to corner the pirates. Helga and Yujo swiftly assumed their fighting positions, ready to defend themselves, while Buggy took a step back, confident that he now had enough capable fighters around him to protect him. Crocodile, wearing a knowing smile, understood that he had nothing to fear, as he could once again use the power of his abilities.
Before Helga and Yujo could even react, the former warlord unleashed a powerful sandstorm, effortlessly sweeping the guards aside and clearing a path for them to ascend.
"Let's continue," Crocodile stated dryly, and the other three nodded in admiration.
"As soon as we're out of here, let's split up again and leave this arrogant sand-man and his water girl behind," Buggy whispered to Helga, still feeling uneasy with Crocodile's presence. They glanced at Yujo, who happily jumped alongside them, seemingly content just to be out of the prison cell.
"You mentioned that you're a captain as well?" Helga asked Yujo, now walking beside her.
"Yes, I'm the captain of the Aqua Pirates! I'm sure you've heard of us!" Yujo replied enthusiastically.
"Absolutely!" Helga lied, not wanting to dampen the girl's spirits.
"And how did you end up here?" Buggy inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"I had a bit too much to drink and ended up getting ambushed. Once we escape, I'm determined to find my crew again!" Yujo replied, her voice filled with newfound hope.
Buggy seemed satisfied with her answer. Compared to the intimidating presence of Crocodile, this girl appeared less daunting, making Buggy consider the possibility of extending their partnership for a while longer.
"What about you two?" Yujo asked, her gaze shifting towards Buggy and Helga with genuine curiosity.
Buggy's mind drifted back to the day they were captured—a memory of being in a local inn, locked away in a room, consumed by their desires. They had indulged in drinks after a successful raid, enjoying a banquet with their entire crew. Helga had become tipsy after three glasses of wine, and as the evening progressed, Buggy had carried her upstairs. His girlfriend was filled with a passionate fever, ignited by the exhilarating day. Upon entering their private room, she showered him with kisses, eagerly pushing him toward the bed.
"I want you," she had whispered breathlessly, and Buggy willingly surrendered, allowing her to take control as he reclined on the bed. Helga slowly undressed herself and then him, her actions filled with an intoxicating mix of desire and affection.
As he sat on the bed, gazing into her captivating blue eyes and gently holding her fiery red hair, Buggy realized that there could never be anyone he would love more than her. "Your drive me crazy, sweet cheeks..!", he had whispered.
However, before she could get her sweet mouth to work, both Buggy and Helga heard shouts emanating from downstairs. In a matter of seconds, a battalion of marines barged into the inn, catching them off guard. Buggy found himself rendered powerless as they swiftly clamped sea stone shackles around his wrists.
Partially undressed and partially still horny, they were forcefully taken aboard a marine ship, unable to identify the whereabouts of their crew.
"We were also ambushed during a sea raid!" Helga swiftly lied, noticing her captain's blush at the memory and realizing Yujo was still awaiting their response.
"Those damn marines, too afraid to face us head-on in a fair fight!" Yujo retorted, being outraged over the fact that these two pirates seemed to share her fate.
In the midst of their chat, the trio failed to notice a group of additional guards blocking the staircase to Level 4. Suddenly, gunfire erupted, and Buggy swiftly detached his arms, pushing Helga out of harm's way and using his own body as a shield to protect her. However, Yujo was not as quick to react. A bullet narrowly missed her, and as she attempted to dodge, a guard swung a bat at her, sending her hurtling backward into the stone wall of the staircase.
For a brief moment, she saw stars, feeling overwhelmed and defenseless. She thought that this was the end, but then, unexpectedly, a sandstorm lifted her from the ground, carrying her away from the danger. The guards, unwary, crashed forcefully into the wall, their attempt to catch Yujo met with the unyielding force of the barrier.
In a display of his devil fruit powers, Crocodile had transformed into his sand form, swiftly lifting Yujo and transporting her to the other side of the staircase. He held her securely in his strong arms, his cold eyes contrasting with the warmth of his embrace.
"You seem to have a taste for living dangerously, Missy," he remarked, his voice laced with a hint of amusement, as he held her close.
Yujo's face flushed with a mix of fear and bewilderment, overwhelmed by Crocodile's unexpected display of kindness. "I thought you were the type of person who didn't care about others...!" she whispered, her voice barely audible, as he gently placed her back on the stairs.
"In general, that is true," he chuckled, taking a puff from his cigar. Seizing the opportunity amidst the chaos and confusion, he swiftly rendered the remaining guards unconscious with another wave of his hand. Crocodile created an invisible sand barrier, enveloping Yujo and himself, shielding them from the prying eyes of those around them. Then, with an assertive motion, he grasped Yujo's head, surprising her with a forceful kiss on her unsuspecting lips. She gasped in shock, but soon found herself leaning into the kiss, a mixture of excitement and uncertainty filling her senses.
As the kiss concluded and the sandstorm subsided, Crocodile smiled at her once more. "I knew you would enjoy that...!" he remarked, his words laced with a hint of satisfaction.

Your compliments are treasured... @rayven-interrupted
But we both know that ....
You write like Juliette
loved romeo
Platinum coated sunshine
On a cold lonely road
Like the whole world
is baking soda
And you're only dope
Like a desperate man out on the ledge
And you're his only hope
Like healing to a soul thats
Mostly broke
Working your way
through your anguish
In poetic prose
Dangerous
Like your heaven dipped pen
Is is guided by angels
And no one knows
And its left me comotose
Like Im the victim of
some kind of drug overdose
But Im sober though
Coping as I go
through the motions slow
Attempting to protect
The scars on my heart
while they heal
And somehow resurrect
All the parts me
That I know are real
that THEY told me
are supposedly broke...
As my past catches up fast
Opportunities are closing doors
Wondering how far
down this rabbit hole
My soul can go....
I mean I just got it back
from the demons that
would hold it close
after it was stolen
and sold to foes....
😬...

Hey, does anyone know what happened to @heyfightme? I know that they left and pulled all of their stories off of AO3; I downloaded them to my old laptop and I'm currently about to transfer them either to paper or to the new laptop.
And I know they said that they were looking to adapt their fanfiction into full novel stories. I would buy them for the record! But I have no idea how to find them.
Any leads?

Trembling, crawling across my skin, feeling your cold dead eyes, stealing the life of mine (Ch.4)
This fanfiction story is my present for my friend @yujo-nishimura. I hope you still enjoy the story, my dear :)
Two things inspired me to write this fic: One of my fav songs from which the title is taken and Elena and Damon's dance (from The Vampire Diaries, S1).
Description: Yujo and Mr. Three's engagement is called off. Let's find out what happens next.
Warnings: The action takes place around the end of the 18th - beginning of the 19th century.
Words: 1607
Sir Crocodile x OC
The title is taken from "Dance with the Devil" by Breaking Benjamin.
English is not my native language, errors may occur. As always, feel free to share your thoughts :)

"What?" Yujo asked in surprise.
"What??" Helena asked indignantly.
They saw Mister 3 run out of the room and glance at the girls.
Yujo and Helena went down to the dining room, trying not to show that they had heard the conversation.
At breakfast time, their father hardly said a word. He drank his coffee slowly and leafed through the latest newspaper. He glanced at his daughters and finally put down the newspaper and cleared his throat.
"I assume you've heard everything." He looked at his daughters and made a gesture for the maids to leave the dining room.
“Sorry, father, we accidentally..” Yujo muttered under her breath as she took a sip of herbal tea from a small white cup decorated with purple flowers.
“I decided that marriage with Crocodile would be more beneficial for our family. And he showed interest in you, Yujo.” John slowly tapped his fingers on the table.
"If you think so, then good. Marriage with him is a great success, right? Our position in society will improve. Your business connections will strengthen."
"So you don't mind?" Asked the father.
“Even if I was against it, would it matter?” Yujo tried not to smile.
"It's not fair..." Helena whispered.
"Sorry, what?" John looked at his daughter questioningly.
"I'm saying it’s not fair!" Helena jumped up. “Everything always goes to Yujo. The best carriage? Her! The best coachman? Also her. The best dress? Also her! God, she almost even has two husbands in one day. And you never think about me!” She stamped her foot.
"That's not true at all, my dear Helena. I love you equally." The father smiled softly.
"If only that were the case..." Helena mumbled.
“If this were not the case, I would not have arranged a meeting between you and one of the Cross Guild members.” John looked at her out of the corner of his eye and smiled at the corner of his mouth.
Helena was silent for a second. "What?"
"Yes, I have arranged for you to meet your swordsman. Mihawk."
Yujo and John looked at Helena.
"Can't be!!" Helena squeaked and fainted practically in a spiral.
"Helenaaa!!" They both rushed towards her and hit her on the cheeks.
"Daddy, are you kidding me?" Helena barely opened her eyes.
"No, I love you. Get up. Today you will meet him. Yes, Yujo, Crocodile will come to our estate for lunch today. Your mother was going to go to Jinbe's wife. As far as I know, Portgas D. Ace's wife should be there too. Sometimes I think your mother cares more about gossip than our family."
Classes and readings were canceled for today and the girls were busy preparing for lunch. While John controlled every step of the servants, making sure that everything was perfect, the girls were in their room.
“I can't believe I'm getting married too!!” Helena couldn't believe her luck as she rummaged through her closet. “Today I need to choose the most beautiful dress, choose the most beautiful gloves, choose the best perfume. You see, Yujo, you prophesied the clown for me.” Helena stuck out her tongue.
Yujo calmly sorted through the jewelry in the box and couldn’t stop smiling while looking at her sister.
"I will be Helena Mihawk. Wife of Dracule Mihawk." Helena spun around her axis near the closet.
“Uh-huh...” Yujo took out the ring and began to twirl it in her hands.
“Are you okay? Although probably not. This morning you were engaged to Mister 3, and before lunch you were already engaged to Crocodile.”
Yujo tried her best to hide her joy after the morning news. She couldn't tell her sister that every time she heard Crocodile's name, shivers ran down her spine. She couldn't tell her sister about that kiss in his office. She couldn’t tell her sister that every time she remembered his lips, she felt as if the pillows of her finger began to burn.
Helena tried on all the dresses in a row, twirling in front of Yujo. "Which dress is better? Purple? White? Probably white. Or cream? Better cream. Or white?"
"Helena, honey, calm down. You will be beautiful in any outfit!" Yujo stood up from the sofa, walked over to her sister and stroked her cheek. "Just be yourself. Not completely, of course, but be yourself."
"What are you planning to wear? Oh my God! Oh my God!!" Helena began to kick her legs in place and squeal. "You are marrying Sir Crocodile. He is, of course, much more handsome than Mr. 3. Are you going to be Madam Crocodile?" Helena stopped jumping and squinted one eye.
“I don’t really know, actually.” Yujo suddenly laughed.
There was a knock on the door of the room. The maids brought the girls tea, cookies and two boxes.
"Miss Yujo, Miss Helena, a gift from Sir Crocodile for you!" They put the boxes on the bed and left the room.
"What do you think is there?" Helena asked in a whisper, pointing her finger at two powder-colored boxes tied with a silver ribbon.
"I'm pretty sure we'll have to open the box to find out, my silly sister."
Helena carefully approached the box, poked it with her finger and pulled it back sharply.
“It doesn’t move and it’s already good.” Helena carefully removed the lid from the box and her squeal instantly deafened the whole house. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! Yujo! Look! Those are the dresses!! So beautiful!!"
Helena saw a long lime-colored lacy dress with a white ribbon at the waist. "Oh my god, there are also white lacy gloves!!" Helena squealed, collapsing on the bed and kicking her legs. "Open, open, open your box, sister!!"
Yujo removed tape and the lid from the box. She saw a long jadeite-colored silk dress with a gold-colored satin belt.
"Oh my God, your dress is beautiful!!!" Helena jumped out of bed. "He definitely fell in love with you!!!"
"Don't talk nonsense." Yujo felt her face starting to turn red.
The time was gradually approaching lunch. The girls had already dressed up, they put on their best jewelry and were waiting for an invitation to join the meeting.
Finally, the maids knocked on the door and said that their father was waiting for them in the living room.
While Helena kicked her legs and struggled to maintain her composure, Yujo didn't know how to hide her excitement. The thought that she was about to see Crocodile, the thought that she would marry Crocodile, the thought that she would soon spend her first night with Crocodile, could not leave her mind. Every step out of the room was difficult for her. Her legs trembled and gave way, her hands shook and sweated, and she could hardly hold on to the ladder.
Yujo stopped for a second, closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
"Are you okay?" Helena asked quietly, placing her hand on her sister's shoulder.
"Yes, completely. It's just all a little... It doesn't matter. Let's go. And Helena, honey, I'm begging you, behave calmly. Don't forget that this is an important dinner and everything has to go perfectly."
"You talk to me like I don't understand anything." Helena pouted briefly.
They went down the stairs and entered the living room.
Helena barely squeaked when she saw a tall man wearing a black three-piece set of coat, vest and trousers and a hat with a feather. A small beard and mustache decorated his face.
"It's him!! Yujo, it's him!!" Helena tugged at her sister's arm and tried not to scream. "My heart is just going to break. My God, my God, my God!
"Hush, Helena. Remember what we talked about."
"I'm absolutely calm, sister!"
Yujo glanced at Crocodile. He looked incredibly handsome today wearing a dark purple coat, waistcoat, cotton shirt with decorative cuffs, trousers and a cravat.
"Miss Helena," Helena looked up to see Mihawk taking her hand. "Glad to see you!" He kissed her hand and made a small bow..
Yujo looked at her sister. It was clear from her face that she wanted to scream with joy, but Helena held on well. She smiled slightly and thanked him for the greeting. He led her towards the dining room, where the table was ready.
"Miss Yujo!" A deep voice came from behind Yujo. "Glad to see you. You look great today!" Crocodile turned Yujo towards him, took her and kissed her hand, and gently ran his fingers over her knuckles.
She didn't know how to hide the shiver that ran through her body from his every touch.
"It's good to see you too, Sir Crocodile. And thank you so much for the gift!" Yujo smiled slightly.
"My bride should only walk around in the best outfits." He kissed her hand once more, looked into her eyes and gestured for her to enter the dining room.
At lunch Crocodile, Mihawk and the girls' father discussed business, new prospects for cooperation, and studied some papers. They accompanied each discussion with whiskey and scotch.
Yujo tried to hide it, but she looked at Crocodile out of the corner of her eye and every time he glanced at her, it seemed to her that her heart stopped moving.
"As far as I understand, Mr. John Watton, you and I have already decided everything. Our wedding will be attended by people from the highest society. I will put in a good word for you before the ceremony. Everything needs to go perfectly. And I want Yujo's I want her things to start moving into my castle. Let's not waste time. Besides, the wedding is coming soon. In a week."

A Pitstop in NJ (27DEC22)
I moved from MA to NC in a 15-hour, two-day travel session which took me through New Jersey. Months ago, I had sent communications to two folks on Tumblr that I wanted to meet up with.
Tumblr media
Firstly, I ended up having breakfast with the man, the myth, the legend… stewacai. He picked the spot in upper NJ and we ended up having steak and eggs together. I had my concerns that we would just awkwardly stare at each other over a couple of diner plates. But during breakfast we talked about videogames, careers, art, Tumblr, family, and a few other things. If I come back through northern NJ in the future, I’d love to grab a breakfast/lunch with him again. It was a pleasure to meet you in person, good sir.
Tumblr media
Also, big shout out to tammyfeabakker who let me crash at her joint in southern NJ. When I got to her place in the early afternoon, I’d been driving since 4:30 AM. We both kind of matched each other’s energy and just ended up watching HOURS of ghost videos (Nuke’s Top 5) which was interspersed with back-and-forth about the supernatural. I got about seven hours of sleep at her beautiful home, it was the best sleep I’ve gotten in four months, and then I took off at like 3:45 AM to complete my journey. Thanks for taking me in just like you would any wayward member of your own family, Bunny.
Tumblr media
I’m really glad I met you two on Tumblr. Thanks for the memories and making my journey a richer one. Now if you don’t mind, I’m going to try and sleep for a full day.
