The internet is making me very fucking sad tonight
1) putting seed in guac keeps it fresher for longer, but not indefinitely
2) the theory for why this is seems to be “the bits touching pit are not touching air”. This will not affect the rest of the container
3) the process that makes the guac go brown is oxidation. Avocado pits are fucking full of antioxidants.
WHY THE FUCK IS THIS A MYSTERY.
IT IS IN THE GODDAMN NAME.
FUCKING CROATOAN ALL OVER AGAIN.
IT IS THE FUCKING ANTIOXIDANTS REDUCING THE DAMAGE OF THE OXIDATION IT IS LITERALLY WHY THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU.
