but has someone on the dungeon meshi subreddit figured out more detailed recipe amounts of the pan-steamed bread that senshi makes in the orc episode?

YO the food shelter for my area is having a thing where if you donate, someone will match you and donate that amount, and because thanksgiving is coming up I really wanted to try and help!

If you donate $25 and send me a screencap to verify, I will either:

Write you a fanfic of any fandom you want (around 2000 words)

OR

Make you a short background music melody that you can use however you want (song will be about a minute long & you can request instruments and vibe you want in it)

(The matching thing is done on Nov. 17th, but I'll still be doing this fanfic/music thing until Nov 23rd)

Okay. Is there any fandom consensus on what, if anything, Ted eats/drinks? I'm gonna have my foursome in a strategy session, and with the metabolisms and injuries involved here, they should all be in need of calories, so everyone's going to have something. I'm happy to go semi-canonical (Ted drinks tea; no one knows how) or even full silly (Ted, why do you have an entire box of fresh macarons in the middle of the fucking forest?), but if there's some popular fanon about Ted loving hamburgers or pineapple or something, I'd like to know.

Expired or not MREs are barely edible and america of all places has the means to provide a thousand times better especially to a place where the largest population of people is children. So fucking cruel

Hi Gracie, I'm hoping you might have some advice for me. My colonists are starving, because I have more people than I know how to feed. Is there any way I can tell them to stop feeding their meals to the animals?

They keep cooking meals, feeding the meals to the animals, and then eating raw meat and being sad about it!

It's mostly the dogs they're feeding the meals to, too, because the haygrass finally grew enough for the pen animals. And dogs can eat raw meat just fine, so it would make way more sense to feed the dogs the meat instead.

(I am trying to solve the underlying problem by 1. assigning more people to plants so they will sow the fields my current farmers are apparently neglecting, and 2. increasing the population cap of my animals so that they produce more excess, but both these things take time and in the meantime they are constantly running out of food and I'm hunting pretty much every wild animal that wanders onto the map to keep my colonists alive.)

Hello! I have this issue a lot, too. Those silly colonists want to prioritise their beloved animals over their own comfort, which is sweet, but very airheaded of them.

I can usually stop animals from eating meals on their own by simply changing their allowed areas to prevent them from accessing the fancy "people food", but it gets trickier when tending to injured animals or training them.

I have found a mod called 'Animal Controls' on the Steam Workshop which says it adds animal food restrictions, however, I haven't had a chance to test it out myself yet so I'm afraid I can't vouch for its effectiveness. Perhaps I'll test it out in my next RimWorld game!

My months of rest and relaxation // day 4

As I said I don't want to give myself any to do lists during this period of rest, I want to learn that I can do things just because I want to and not because I feel like I have to. I also want to get better at approaching reading in the same way, I think I am on a good starting point, but although I tend to have mutiple books on my currently reading pile I have yet to learn that I should pick a specific book up because I am excited about it and I am in the mood for that speacific read, if that makes any sense. I have currently three books in my currently reading pile, the first is my all time favourite: Frankenstein. I am taking my time rereading this because have never fully annotated this copy. My first ever read of the book was on a high school book which I couldn't annotate, and then I reread it last year (I think?) with an audiobook. The second read is Legends And Lattes by Travis Baldree, it sounds like a super cozy and chill read and it's the exact reason I picked it up. I love Frankenstein but sometimes I need to relax my mind with something a bit more lighthearted. Finally the last book I am slowly getting into (finally) is The View From The Cheap Seats by Neil Gaiman. It's a selected collection of non-fiction by my favourite author and it has sat on my shelves for too long. For some reason this book gives me cozy vibes as well although it's non fiction. I am taking my time to slowly read it and annotate it, and I am truly loving the experience. At the moment the only thing is missing is an audiobook, but since I am currently re listening to The Magnus Archives it makes sense not to have an audiobook on the go.

Productivity:

Made cinnamon rolls (these are the first I bake this season!)

Continued my re-listening of The Magnus Archives

Took time to read in-between other things I did during the day

Practiced Irish on duolingo

Self care:

Read first thing in the morning

Baked

Invited a friend over in the afternoon and we just drank tea and had a lovely time chatting
