Extremely grateful to have the friends I have now and people I talk to who put effort into understanding me and are as supportive as they are and I really don’t think I would be able to tackle changing my life in major ways and trying to make progress without them and if u think this is about you it is everyone I know enriches my life a lot and I don’t always know how to express it but it is true and I am very thankful

Do you think it's still possible to learn to make friends in your 30's?

Most definitely I don’t think there’s any time limit or any age where you can no longer learn anything but even putting that aside I also don’t think some people realize how young you still are in your thirties that’s the period of time where many people are coming out of the years where they start to really learn who they are as a person and become more comfortable and cemented in that and the way they navigate the world. Everybody is constantly changing and maturing and twenties are an awkward discovery stage for many people especially if you spent a lot of it in isolation I don’t think it’s abnormal at all to learn new ways to navigate the world or what you want from it in your 30s or 40s or anything. hell old people crack the code to making friends at bingo in their hundreds there’s always new possibilities and experiences on the horizon

One of the biggest biting yourself in the ass experiences I’ve witnessed was this guy I knew as a teenager who I initially actually really liked and considered a friend until I found out he was talking massive next level hater lying shit about me which years later his ex told me was because he compared himself to me and was worried his friends were gonna replace him with me and what’s crazy is because of this a lot of his friends DID end up just dropping him and sticking with me because his behavior was weird and well he wasn’t wrong they did like me more. Nice job man. And no I don’t remember his name

I used to have a lot of various really weird health issues that were super resistant to treatment I spent years in and out of surgery and doing intensive medical treatment and whatnot and I’ll never forget that once in little India in nyc I got a 20 minute astrology reading in the basement of a clothing store and the guy not only clocked the health issues I was having (they were not visible) he told me they would go away when I was 22 out of nowhere and I was like okay you’re full of shit only for years to pass and when I was 22 it literally all went away and healed on its own with no warning and no reason whatsoever. Insane

I’ve only taken opiates one of the times I had surgery because it was really major and they worried my blood pressure would drop from pain but weirdly enough 1. My dog died out of nowhere the day before and 2. My mom and ex girlfriend got in a car accident while I was in surgery? And I remember the car ride back hearing they got rammed by some car and thinking about my dead dog and being like man those painkillers fucked me up way worse than I expected huh Im really losing it
