Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
After more than 900 years of being a vampire, not a lot surprised me anymore. But when I woke up one morning to a call from Elijah Mikaelson, surprise bordering on shock was the overwhelming emotion.
I'd picked up the call without thinking about it, without checking the number. Even though I hadn't spoken to Elijah in hundreds of years, I still recognized his voice in an instant. He asked if he'd dialed the right number to reach me, and all I could do was exist in shocked silence for a few long moments.
I waited to respond for a few extra moments after snapping out of it, briefly debating hanging up. If it had been a different Mikaelson sibling, I would have done it. But if Elijah had tracked down my number to call me, I figured it must be for something important.
"...Yeah, Elijah, it's me. What do you... what do you want?"
I could hear his heavy sigh on the other end of the line, and I had to bite back a laugh. Once upon a time, I'd started to consider that sigh of exasperation the familiar gesture of family.
"Niklaus has broken his curse," he finally said. My heart stopped dead, but I tried not to let it show in my voice.
"Okay. And what does that have to do with me?"
"Niklaus also managed to kill our father, Mikael, and now that he's succeeded... he's undaggered our siblings."
"What?" I breathed. This couldn't be real. I must've been dreaming or something.
"He kept his word to me, albeit after taking advantage of a loophole," Elijah continued. "Finn has been undaggered, along with Kol and Rebekah. We're in Mystic Falls."
I sat down heavily in the nearest chair, my mind reeling. I'd been in love with Finn from the moment I'd met him, literal ages and lifetimes ago. We'd been inseparable from the moment Finn first started courting me, and although his family initially had mixed feelings, Finn had turned me and we'd gotten married with (mostly) full support.
And then, about fifty years into our marriage, Klaus had gotten angry at Finn, and daggered him. I'd spent about another fifty trying to get him back, until Klaus had almost killed me. He'd told me the next time I made a "rescue attempt", he wouldn't hold back. I was ready to keep going anyway, until he also threatened to dump Finn's body in the ocean, never to be found. I couldn't risk him following through. So I'd mourned the love of my life as if he was dead, and then I'd ditched every last other member of his family for good.
Until now. The thought that he was back, finally, free from that stupid box... It didn't seem real.
"Elijah, I've had very little issue with you in our long, long lives, but all the same... why should I believe you?"
"Why would I lie?"
"For Klaus."
"To accomplish what?"
I paused at that. I racked my brain, but I couldn't think of anything the middlest Mikaelson would possibly want with me. If there was something, I would've heard from him before now. And I hadn't. He'd left me alone for the past 850 years.
"Finn has been undaggered for a few days," Elijah continued, correctly reading my lack of protest as a green flag to continue. "I used my connections to track you down because we have a problem, and it seems like one you would be best able to solve."
Now it was my turn for an exasperated sigh through my nose.
"So you did call me for an agenda."
"One that serves you and Finn both." I rolled my eyes, and although Elijah couldn't see it, I had a feeling he knew what I was doing. "Our mother has mysteriously returned from the dead. Like our father, she is determined to wipe us off the Earth, as she feels our current forms are abominations. Unlike our father, she's been trying to talk us into agreeing with her and choosing to end our own lives."
I gasped, a scowl making its way onto my face. I didn't exactly love all of the Mikaelson siblings, but for a mother to try to convince her own children to kill themselves was absolutely horrific, no matter how many times I'd thought about killing her children myself.
"She hasn't made any inroads with any of us," Elijah reassured me. "Except... for Finn."
"You're joking."
"I'm not. Since being undaggered, my brother has expressed freely his feelings that immortality, especially as a vampire, is a curse that he wishes to end. My mother has only fed this mindset, and now I fear the two of them are working together to end all of us."
"And what do you want me to do about that, exactly?" I asked, even as I moved around my house to start packing a bag. If there was even a glimmer of hope that I could help Finn, I would. Even after 900 years, I knew if the positions were reversed, he would do the same for me.
"I'm hoping you can talk him off the ledge, so to speak," Elijah answered. "Keep everyone alive and well."
"I'm going to stop you right there, Elijah. It feels like you're building to threatening Finn, and I've had enough of that from your family for a million more lifetimes. I'll be there later today. Just tell me where I can find Finn."
"...I'll make sure he's at the Mystic Grill. It's a restaurant in the middle of town, you can't miss it."
"Great. See you in a few hours."
I hung up before he could say anything else.
Quickly, I finished throwing my things into a bag, then hurried out to my car. I had no time to waste if I wanted to save Finn.
Luckily for me, the drive only took a few hours, which gave me time to process everything Elijah had told me and that I'd have to face in Mystic Falls. It still didn't feel quite real that I was about to see Finn again.
That hazy dream finally faded when I walked through the doors of the Mystic Grill, my bags still in the car. I scanned the room and like a heat-seeking missile found Elijah in a corner booth, sitting across from someone who still had their back to me. The last time I'd seen Finn, he'd had hair down past his shoulders. But even from the back, with a new haircut and modern clothing, I knew it was him.
I quickly crossed the room, my heart speeding up with every step, until I stood before both of them. Elijah immediately turned to look at me, but I only had eyes for Finn.
He looked remarkably good, considering he'd been in a box for 900 years. He stared at Elijah with a raised eyebrow, then slowly turned to follow Elijah's gaze until he saw me.
The world stopped, and everyone else in the room disappeared. Finn, my Finn, the one I thought I'd lost any hope of ever seeing again, the man I loved beyond all else, was here. Sitting before me, looking at me with familiar hazel eyes. Alive.
"Finn," I breathed, the smallest of smiles tugging itself onto my face. An instant later, thanks to vampire speed, he had me wrapped tight in his arms. He breathed my name into my hair, so quietly that even Elijah's super-hearing probably didn't catch it. I squeezed him tight, a few tears leaking out as I did. He was back. He was really back, and alive. No dagger or gray skin or anything else that haunted my nightmares.
"How did you know I was here?" he finally asked, pulling back with awe on his face. I smiled and nodded towards his brother.
"Elijah found my number and called me. Can we talk?"
Finn glanced back at Elijah with slightly narrowed eyes, then looked back at me.
"...Yes. Lead the way."
I didn't know the town any better than he did, but I also didn't want to hang around the Grill in earshot of Elijah for this reunion, so I pulled Finn towards the door. We wandered towards the park, and after a quick scan of the area to make sure we weren't being eavesdropped on, I led him to a bench where we could sit together.
"I'm... so happy to see you, Finn," I said, taking his hands in mine and fighting to hold back another round of tears. "I hope you know... I tried to get you out sooner. I really did. I just... I wasn't strong enough. I am so, so sorry."
He shook his head, squeezing my hands a little in reassurance.
"It's alright. I'm glad I'm getting to see you again."
"Before you let Esther kill you?" Finn's eyebrows shot up, and I pursed my lips. "Elijah told me what you're planning to do, Finn. It's why he called me in the first place. I would've come running no matter what, but none of your siblings would've reached out to me without some other motive. We both know that."
Finn sighed through his nose and shook his head.
"And that is exactly why our time on Earth needs to come to an end. Monstrous behavior like that has become normal for them. For us. It has to stop."
"Does that include me?" Finn's gaze had wandered to other parts of the park, but it snapped back to me at my words. "Your umbrella of monstrous vampire behavior that has to stop. Am I under it just by virtue of being one?"
He sighed, staring down at our joined hands for a long, long time before looking up at me, pain in his eyes.
"I wish I could say no. My heart wants to say no. But... you've lived a long life in the years I've been gone. I don't really know you. Not who you are now."
I looked away, the gears turning in my brain as I nodded thoughtfully. He had a point; I had changed a lot in my 900 years wandering this Earth without him. But I still loved him, and I hadn't changed so drastically that he wouldn't recognize the new me.
"I have an idea," I said, turning back to him with a smile. "Let's go away together. Come back home with me for... a week. Let's get to know each other all over again, and I can show you why I've decided it's worth it to stick around all these hundreds of years. Alright?"
Finn frowned. "I don't know... my mother-"
"Has had her time to make her case. And if you really want to, you can come back here to her whenever you want. But you're my husband, Finn. Nine hundred years, and I've only ever loved you. So now it's my turn."
The barest hint of a smile quirked up the corner of his mouth.
"It seems like you haven't changed much, in a few ways at least."
I grinned. "I didn't need much longer than we had together to get good at telling off pushy family members of yours. The only one who's ever bested me was Klaus, and I don't intend to ever let that happen again. If your mother's trying to walk you off the ledge... she's gonna have to go through me."
Finn sighed, pulling me to my feet with him as he stood. I worried for a second, until his small smile reappeared and he met my eyes.
"Let's go home, then. For a week. Wherever 'home' is for you."
****************
I wasted absolutely no time loading Finn into my car and getting the hell out of town. It was going to be a lot of driving for one day, but it would be worth it. I had no intention of letting any of his family members get in my way. I'd never even had to unpack my bag.
As we left Mystic Falls behind us and pulled onto the highway, I put on my favorite playlist and shot Finn a grin.
"How much have your siblings caught you up on everything you missed over the last nine hundred years?" I asked. Finn frowned and shook his head.
"Very little. Do we really need to be going this fast?"
"Yes," I said, pointedly hitting the accelerator as I got up to speed with the rest of traffic. "Don't worry, I'm a fantastic driver. I promise it's normal and safe."
"Hm." Finn nodded, still looking a little unconvinced, so I reached over to take his hand.
"First lesson on the wonders of life, Finn: Road trips are the best. We've got about four hours to cruise, talk, listen to music, and stop for the most deliciously, bad-for-you food imaginable."
Finn huffed a small laugh. "I suppose that could be fun."
I grinned, cranking up the volume on the song playing, one of my favorites.
"I'll take it!"
****************
Slowly, over the course of the rest of the drive, Finn loosened up a little. He'd always been the most formal and reserved of his siblings, but when we were together, he'd always relaxed around me. This time, it took a little longer to get there, but around the second hour he started laughing at my stupid jokes and asking questions about things he saw that he found interesting. By the time I pulled up in front of my house a few hours later, he had a smile on his face and the tension had mostly eased out of his shoulders.
"How long have you lived here?" he asked, eyes surveying the house as I grabbed my unused bag out of the backseat.
"Oh, probably close to a decade. I've had the house for a lot longer than that, but I move in and out pretty regularly, since it would be obvious to my neighbors after a while that I'm not aging."
Finn nodded thoughtfully. "And does that ever bother you? The constant moving, the lying. The leaving."
"Sometimes," I said with a shrug. "But I like traveling and exploring the world. This way, I get to do that while also having a home to come back to after everything. It's more often than not been the best of both worlds for me."
"Hm. And do I need to be invited in?"
I grinned. "Nope! The house is mine. Unlike your siblings and quite a few other vampires, I haven't spent my eternity making enemies, so at least so far I haven't needed to keep other vampires out."
Finn chuckled, and the sound made a warm feeling grow in my chest. He looked happy, and seeing him glowing as he walked towards the front door of the place I called home was exactly the thing I'd been dreaming of for 900 years.
As if on-cue to interrupt my moment, my phone rang. I glanced at it to find Elijah's number staring back at me and huffed a sigh.
"Finn, would you mind taking my bag inside? I need to take this."
"Of course, my love." He gave me a soft smile as he took my bag, then headed for the front door. I watched him for an extra second, the fading light of twilight painting the world in a soft glow, then answered my phone with a sigh.
"What do you want, Elijah?" I said, not bothering with a hello. I turned my back to Finn and walked a few steps away, hoping he'd be too focused on the house to listen in on my conversation with his brother. I didn't want anything messing up our week away, especially not family drama.
"Where is Finn?" Elijah asked, his tone a bit demanding. I narrowed my eyes.
"Why do you need to know?"
"Because, as I remember mentioning to you, he's in the middle of trying to plot with our mother to kill all of us. I'd like to be aware of his location and progress for my own sake, and the sake of my family."
"Finn is family, and family you left rotting in a box for nine hundred years," I spat. I took a deep breath, getting my anger slightly more under control, then continued. "Finn is with me. I'm going to spend some time with my husband, thank you very much, and hopefully throughout the course of that I'm going to convince him it's worth telling your mother to go to hell to stay here with me. Our goals are aligned in keeping Finn from letting your mother destroy your entire family, Elijah, and that knowledge is just going to have to be good enough for you. We're supposed to be family, too, so you at least owe me that."
I hung up before Elijah could get another word in. I shoved my phone back into my pocket, then took a couple deep breaths before finally turning back around to head into the house. I was going to enjoy my week with Finn, and I was not going to let anyone get in our way.
I wandered inside to find Finn just sort of standing in the middle of the room, looking around. I showed him around and helped him get settled, and the two of us spent the night the same way we'd spent the drive, talking and telling stories and catching up after being apart.
We made dinner together, and I introduced Finn to the wonders of boxed mac 'n cheese before convincing him to sit down and watch my favorite Disney movie with me. It was late, so we went to bed right after the first one, but Finn seemed to enjoy it enough that he'd probably want to watch more after we got some rest.
For the first time in a long time, I drifted off with the comfort of Finn next to me, alive and well. I was determined to do whatever it took to avoid losing him ever, ever again.
****************
The next week felt like heaven on Earth. Finn and I quickly fell into a new, easy, happy routine together, exploring the place I'd called home for so long during the day (while also getting him more caught up on the modern world) and watching ridiculous movies on the couch together long into the night. I didn't want it to end, but I knew that if we disappeared for too long, Esther or one of her other kids would come looking for us. Finn and I needed to settle the issue once and for all, sooner rather than later.
But first, I had one last trick up my sleeve.
"So... we're supposed to go back to Mystic Falls in the morning," I said, leaning my elbows on the counter as I met Finn's eyes across the island. "But there's one more thing that I do as a regular part of my vampire life that I'm going to keep doing, no matter what. Fortunately for both of us, I think you might like it too."
Finn raised an eyebrow, and I gave him a soft smile before pushing off the island.
"Come on. Follow me."
He did, without hesitation. I tried to hide just how much that made me smile.
Finn and I walked from the house deeper into the downtown area, where people still walked back and forth despite the late hour. Finn carefully took in all our surroundings as I led him along, falling back into my normal routine.
As an immortal with superstrength, superspeed, and mind control, I was safe walking around at night basically no matter what. But also as a woman, I remembered plenty of times where I hadn't been safe. Or where I would've been in serious trouble if I hadn't had superpowers on my side. So, on a regular basis, and even more often when I started feeling down about being a vampire, I walked around at night acting as an avenging shadow, making sure any woman I came across got home safe. Crime rates tended to drop, at least for a little while, in whatever city I lived in and various muggers realized they had a real-life, superpowered Batman going after anybody trying to hurt people in the shadows.
I ducked into a dark alleyway, and Finn followed me, still looking curious. I smiled at him, then explained what I'd been doing for the past 900 years. As I spoke, a smile appeared on his face and steadily grew to a beaming pride I hadn't seen since our first few years together.
"That is... an excellent idea," he said, still looking at me like I'd hung the moon. I smiled back.
"Thank you. I've been back here long enough that I don't think we'll find too many things to put a stop to tonight, but... what do you say we look anyway?"
Finn nodded. "I'll follow you."
I took Finn's hand and pulled him along with me down the rest of the alleyway, ducking into the nearest bar on the other side. After grabbing a few drinks and compelling a few leering men to change their behavior, we popped back out onto the street to clear the next place.
Finn and I worked like a charm together, like we'd been working as a team for the last 900 years instead of just me by myself. Although the city was fairly safe, we still found plenty of ways to make an impact, and had a blast together going from place to place too. When we finally went back home around two in the morning, we were both laughing, and I swear Finn seemed lighter than he had all week.
"Well, that was my pitch," I said, flopping backwards into bed. Another perk of vampire speed was how quickly I could get ready for bed, especially when I was this tired. "I hope you liked it."
"I did. I liked it very much."
"I'm glad." Finn laid down next to me a beat later, and I rolled over to fix him with a smile. "So, how about it, Finn. I say we ditch your mom and the rest of your siblings, like I've been doing for centuries. Live our eternity together, doing good and just being happy. What do you say? Are you with me?"
Finn sighed, his gaze roving over every inch of my face. With every second the silence stretched my stomach churned, worried I'd failed, or that I should've waited until morning to ask, or a thousand different things I should've done differently. Finally, Finn's jaw clenched and he sighed through his nose before bringing his eyes to meet mine.
"I am with you. Always and forever."
I surged forward, rapidly closing the distance between us to wrap Finn in the tightest hug imaginable. After a second he wrapped his arms around me, too, holding me against his chest. I could hear his heartbeat, steadily reminding me he was here with me, and I absolutely never wanted to let go.
"I'll call my mother in the morning," he muttered into my hair, rubbing soothing circles on my back. "Tell her I'm not going to help her. There's too much worth living for, and plenty of ways to exist without being monsters."
"And I'll call Elijah. Tell him you're officially stepping back, and to keep the drama the hell out of our life together once and for all."
Finn chuckled, the sound vibrations rumbling through his chest. With Finn officially here to stay, with me, the way we should've been a long time ago, I felt more at peace than I had in a long, long time. And I was going to make sure nothing ruined that peace, ever again.

Kol ruins your dates all the time you lash out and you ask him what his problem is. He doesn't say anything so you scream at him more, he ends up kisses you, then it hits you why. He wants to be with you but he didn't know how to tell you.
Thanks, For Ruining Yet Another Date. | Kol Mikaelson x Reader

"so you like pasta?" he says "obviously" I say making him laugh. I had been on a date with a guy named Oliver for the past hour. It wasn't a bad date but I had been on far better dates than this.
"right, right you did order pasta, my bad." he chuckles covering his mouth that was full of food "its fine" I laugh gently.
Oliver and i met through a mutual friend from my work, she says that he's a great guy and that a few things could go wrong but not majorly wrong which made me laugh.
"When was the last time you dated someone?" Oliver asks and I shrug "god the last guy I was, uh 3 years maybe. It's been a while thats what I can say. What about you?" I ask politely.
"Way too long ago, maybe a decade? maybe more." he says causing me to raise an eyebrow. "that's long" I say as he scoffs "tell me about it, i mean you know i've talked to women here and there but I never got past talking to them." he says making me laugh out loud.
Noticing that no one else was laughing I quickly stop "it's fine, it's a good story to tell." he says and I nod "yeah it is." I laugh.
The conversation continues, it started getting late so Oliver offered to walk me home since my house wasn't far from the restaurant we were currently eating at.
On the walk home he place his jacket over my shoulders "thanks" I smile to him "just practising for the next date." he shrugs and I chuckle "so when's the next date?" I ask him.
"Never" a voice interrupts followed by the snapping sound of a bone, spinning around I notice Oliver was no where to be seen so I start looking in every possible direction up, left, right, down "OH MY GOD." I scream.
Oliver was dead on the floor, his head almost off his neck I fall to my knees "oliver?" I whisper "Oliver?" I start slapping him, it wasn't bright of me to do, but I did it anyways.
"looks like your date ghosted you." a british voice cuts me off, I look up to see Kol with a smug look on his face as if he was about to crack from his poorly timed joke "you did this!" I say almost wanting to yell at him but not. Instead I slap his cheek as hard as I could, channelling all my anger and turning it into power.
"ouch, i felt that one." he says rubbing his tongue along the inside of his cheek "you better, you just killed my date." I say under my breath "now how are we suppose to get rid of the body Kol." I throw my arms out in the air "oh please, I can get rid of this limp thing in no time, it's fine." he shrugs "NO IT'S NOT FINE" i yell at him "YOU KILLED MY DATE" I continue.
I push him back angrily "YOU ALWAYS DO THIS, I HAVE A GREAT NIGHT AND YOU KILL THEM JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN." now it was dark, the moon was out and it was bright but not bright enough for everyone to see Kol and I standing next to a dead body.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM? WHY DO YOU ALWAYS KILL MY DATES WHY CAN'T YOU KILL BEKAHS OR MARCELS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD." my voice was louder than it had ever been, my anger fuelling the volume of my voice.
Kol stands there, the expression on his face still smug and proud of yet another death that is not only on his hands but also on mine because it was my date.
"WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO TELL SOMEONE WHEN THEY ASK 'HEY WHERE IS OLIVER?' HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO TELL THEM OH THIS PHSYCO THAT I KNOW KILLED HIM RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES AND I DID NOTHING." my voice remained loud, any remaining human or supernatural that was once standing near us had now disappeared at the sound of my furious voice.
"OR SHOULD I JUST SAY THAT AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE CAME TO TOWN, OH DID I MENTION HE IS A MURDEROUS RAGING PSYCHOTIC BITCH." slapping him once more before he grabs my cheeks, pulling me in and placing his lips on mine.
Shit.
After a while he pulls apart, pointing down at Oliver's limp body "just hit a snag." he started scratching the back of his head.
I point between Oliver and Kol "holy shit, i get it now." my jaw drops in amazement, how truly fucked Kol was.
"you, you. Kill my dates because you can't stand me with other people. You want to be the person I go on dates with." I point to him, squinting at him waiting for him to nod "Well I-" "Honesty is the best policy Kol." I places my hands on my hips.
"Don't ever use outdated phrases." he rolls his eyes "Don't lie to me, you love me." I say "You say that when the guy you went on a date with is dead on the floor, y/n, don't flatter yourself." he scoffs.
"But I do." he mumbles walking off I kick Oliver's dead body before running after Kol "Thanks, For Ruining Yet Another Date." I nudge him and he shrugs "I thought you would have gotten a hint the first time." he clears his throat "So we're just leaving him?" I ask Kol and he nods.
"I'm dropping you off and we'll talk about this tomorrow." he says "Now." I grab his arm stopping him "Now?" he says nervously "Yes, Now." I say sternly.
"So I may slightly be in love with you, that's all." he says chuckling shortly afterwards trying to brush it off "wow. how unlucky am I to have a Mikaelson fall in love with me." I smack my lips "very unlucky." he says making me laugh.

The lack of Finn fics online is kind of sad. I've found two that I like, and theres like what 15 of them in total. A Finncent x OC and Finn x Rose (that 2nd one never updated again). I know my man barely has material, but dang. I think even Henrik has more fics dedicated to him 😭

Some people have this weird fixation about making Klaus choose Caroline over Hope, especially in fanfics. I’ve seen fics where Klaus abandons Hope, or kills Hayley for disrespecting Caroline, or just ignores Hope in favor of Caroline. Like some people forget Hope’s his daughter - of course, he’s going to choose her over everyone. I think any decent parent would choose their child over a potential girlfriend/boyfriend. And Hayley is Hope’s mom, a very important person in her life. I don’t think Klaus would kill Hayley unless she posed a threat to Hope or if she tried to take Hope away from him. Honestly, I don’t think he would even tolerate people openly disrespecting Hayley in front of Hope, regardless of who it was.
Another thing that I’ve noticed is how people are so determined to make Klaus a father figure to the twins, particularly Lizzie. I’ve read a fic in which Klaus clearly and openly favored Lizzie over his own daughter - which would never happen. I think that if Klaus and Caroline actually did end up together, he still wouldn’t be that present in the twins lives. Since he is overprotective to the extreme, I think that he would hold some resentment over how the twins treated Hope in their younger years. He’s petty enough to hold a grudge against a kid. And anyway, I don’t ever see Alaric allowing Lizzie or Josie to get close to Klaus, no matter what Caroline says.
I don’t know… it’s just weird that people keep diminishing Hope’s relationship with her own father to benefit their ship. Sorry for the rambling.
People fail to remember that Klaus is his own person and not an extension of the ships they like, and that ship half of the time is klaroline because they are obssesed with making him her personal puppy, as if that ever happened in canon.
Granted, Klaus said a few nice things to her and did like two good things to make Caroline not feel so guilty about wanting to fuck him, but other than that there's no way he would ever seriously chose her over his family, especially his own daughter. He chose to save her over Rebekah back in Mystic Falls because his sister is immortal, Caroline isn't.
I've never actually read long klaroline/klamille/klayley fanfiction. Sure, I use to read some oneshots from time to time because they have really good writing, but this fanfics I'll talk about best used to show up while I was in the klaus or mikaelson tag and I used to take a look because I was curious. It has some wild elements, that's for sure.
I've seen a lot of fanfics where they make Caroline some weird ass hybrid/tribrid that manages to be a werewolf, witch and vampire all in one and it's like wtf. They complain constantly about Hope's existence because she breaks canon and yet they make this baby vampire the biggest Mary Sue ever. Yes, the producers created Hope because they wanted to create their own magical baby like Renaissance from Twilight, but they make a fool of themselves by making Caroline be anything but a vampire. Caroline was incredibly mean and a complete hypocrite as a human and don't bring me the "she was insecure and always in Elena's shadow" because I'm insecure too and that doesn't make me be a bitch to the people who love me. Klaus was always threatening her whenever she spoke in a way he didn't like, and that was when she was already the "sunshine vampire" people claim to love so badly, so people who think he would even let her live if he met her as a human are laughable.
Klaroline shippers are so pressed about Hayley being Hope's mother, I can't even tell you how many posts, videos and weird fanfics I've seen of Caroline being her mother and being the "Mikaelson's light". I've said it a lot of times, but the Mikaelson wouldn't like Caroline at all: Rebekah and Hayley were constantly slutshamed by her, Elijah hates people who insult/hurt his family, Kol was literally killed by one of her best friends and he would not be okay with that, Finn couldn't care less and Freya probably just heard bad things from her, if she even knew about her existence. And in top of that, Caroline literally threw a party when she thought Klaus died.
When they have any Mikaelson or Klaus, especially Klaus, kill Hayley, I just lose it. Why the hell would Klaus ever do that? He literally lost his mind when she died, he was a mess and they don't even want to admit he loved Hayley: new flash, he did. She was his family, the mother of his daughter, probably his best and only friend and he loved her. Not in a romantic way, but they still get pressed because how dare Klaus have feelings for anyone other than their queen Caroline.
Also, their obsession with making Caroline be called queen? It's creepy and weird, it must be really annoying for them that Klaus only called Cami and Hayley a queen. Those two girls were a thousand times closer to be considered family by him than Caroline ever could, and his siblings did care for those women too.
This reminds me of a really good point in klaroline fics: if Caroline is the one pregnant with Hope, Klaus will react a lot better. I just can't see this, Klaus’s daddy issues are literally the main point of his character. He hated Mikael as much as he desired his love, he always yearned for one of his parents to care and no one did: Mikael, because he was a piece of shit, Esther, because she was terrified of her husband and there's literally no other reason in canon that explains why she allowed Mikael's abuse and Ansel, because he was forced to stay away and was killed twice. That isn't gonna change just because he got Caroline, sorry to tell you.
I can see him reacting less murderer and less threatening. Alkaline covers this so well and it's one of my favorite Klaus fanfics, if he has a romantic relationship with the woman he got pregnant he wouldn't tell the witches to kill her and their baby, but I do think he would still think at first she cheated, not only because of his paranoia but also because he is supposedly incapable of having kids.
The whole Lizzie and Josie thing is really a good point! I agree, Klaus would never favor the twins over Hope or even Marcel. Those are his kids, he raised them and he never met Josie and Lizzie until they were like what, twelve? Thirteen? He even said people needed to ask him permission to even talk to Hope, he would 100% hold a grudge against the Saltzman twins for being mean to his daughter. I also think that the whole "Klaus would like Lizzie more than Josie" is because physically and in terms of personality, Lizzie is the one that resembles Caroline the most. So when writers have him openly prefer Lizzie isn't only weird, it has some uncomfortable pedophilic vibes.
I've only seen klaroline and some klayley shippers say that about klope, how he would love x girl more than Hope and etc. I hardly doubt they even remember canon Klaus, just their fanfic version because if Klaus ever had to chose he would always chose his daughter. I've also seen, in a lot of fanfics, not only klaroline ones, how Klaus would love more or completely ignore his oc kid (they also have Hope he a complete bitch from the start, even if it's her seven years old version) and it's just strange. There are a lot of reasons why Klaus and Marcel didn't have a stable relationship, mainly all the bad blood between them and the fact that Marcel was already grown up by the time they met, but he never hesitated to put himself in danger for him. Klaus even refused to kill him, knowing he was endangering Hope. I just can't see him ignoring his kid, especially if he got to actually see him/her grow up.
This is not bashing to the writers btw! Sorry if it came out like that.

Elijah Mikaelson x sister!OC
Christmas Eve with Elijah (Oneshot)
Warnings: none, it's pure fluff, so much fluff🥺, Kassie missed her big brother and he missed her too. They spend Christmas together, a bit of angst at the end, sorry, I had to 😭
This is set in 1995 so it's before the prologue where Kassie gets daggered.

1995, Geneva, Switzerland
As Kassandra sat alone in her house on Christmas Eve, a sense of melancholy weighed heavy on her heart, the solitude of the holiday season serving as a stark reminder of the years she had spent alone. Rebekah, Finn, Koll - all daggered. Elijah was God knows where and she didn't even want to know where Klaus was. "Hopefully as far away from me as possible," She thought bitterly as she downed another glass of red wine.
For over 50 years, she has been living in relative solitude. Her only human companions were her ever-changing maids and chauffeurs. She rarely ventured into town, preferring to keep a low profile, lest Klaus decided to pay her a visit. Her mansion was on the outskirts of the city of Geneva, secluded by a small grove growing around it. Her other companions were animals, mostly dogs or cats and over 5 decades she has adopted and nurtured hundreds of pups and kittens.
Lost in her thoughts, she was startled by the sound of a knock at her door, a sudden interruption in the quiet of her home. Too overwhelmed by her emotions to face whoever stood on the other side, Kassandra instructed her maid, Lucia, to answer the door in her stead.
"Buongiorno. Kassandra è a casa?" (Good morning. Is Kassandra home?) Then, as if in a dream, she heard the unmistakable voice of her older brother, and her breath caught in her throat. For a moment, she dared not believe her ears, the mere thought of seeing him after so many years too surreal to comprehend.
With trembling hands and a racing heart, Kassandra rushed to the front door, her steps echoing through the empty halls of her home. And there, standing before her, was Elijah – tall, dignified, and resplendent in a black, tailored suit, his presence commanding yet comforting. His dark eyes gazed softly at her and a small smile danced on his lips.
“Elijah?” Kassandra whispered, her voice barely above a breath, her eyes wide with disbelief as she beheld her long-lost brother.
"Hello, angel," Elijah greeted softly, his deep, calming voice washing over her like a soothing balm. At that moment, as their eyes met across the threshold of her home, Kassandra felt a flood of emotions wash over her – relief, joy, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the unexpected gift of his presence on this sacred night.
As Kassandra stood before him, her heart overflowing with emotion, she found herself unable to tear her gaze away from her brother, the sight of him after so many years leaving her breathless with disbelief and longing.
"È mio fratello. Fallo entrare." (He's my brother. Let him in.) She instructed Lucia to allow him entry, her voice trembling with anticipation as she awaited his arrival.
As Elijah stepped over the threshold and into her home, Kassandra could no longer contain the overwhelming rush of emotions that threatened to consume her. Without a moment's hesitation, she threw herself into his arms, her embrace so fierce and desperate that it momentarily took his breath away.
Staggering slightly under the weight of her embrace, Elijah quickly recovered and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as she clung to him with all her strength. For a moment, they stood locked in an embrace that transcended time and space, the years of separation melting away in the warmth of their reunion.
Eventually, with a gentle chuckle, Elijah managed to pry Kassandra's arms from around him, though the look of reluctance in her eyes made it clear that she was not quite ready to let go. As he met her gaze, he found himself captivated by the depth of emotion reflected in her large, blue eyes – the tears that glistened on her lashes, the wide pupils that spoke of her overwhelming relief, and the look of disbelief that lingered in their depths.
"It's good to see you too, sweet sister," Elijah murmured, his voice soft with affection as he reached out to brush a stray tear from her cheek. "It's been too long."
At that moment, Kassandra knew that no matter how many years had passed, the bond between them remained unbreakable.
As Kassandra buried her face in Elijah's embrace, her tears soaking into his suit, she felt a floodgate of emotions release within her. For years, she had longed for this moment, the chance to be reunited with her beloved brother after so many decades apart. And now, as they stood together in the quiet sanctuary of her home, she found herself unable to contain the overwhelming rush of joy and gratitude that swelled within her heart.
For hours they talked, their voices mingling in a symphony of shared memories and long-held secrets, each word a precious thread that wove together the fabric of their shared history. With each passing moment, Kassandra felt the weight of the years melt away, replaced by a sense of belonging and connection that she had feared lost forever.
But as the evening wore on and the shadows lengthened, Kassandra found herself overcome with a desperate plea – a plea for just one more day, one more moment to spend in the company of her brother, to savor the warmth of his presence and the comfort of his love.
"Please! Just one more day, please!" she begged, her voice choked with emotion as tears continued to stream down her face. "I can't spend another Christmas alone with no family! I haven't seen you in so long! Please, Elijah!" She hasn't seen Elijah since 1919 - she won't be letting him go so easily.
After a moment's hesitation, Elijah's expression softened, his resolve giving way to the depth of his sister's plea. With a gentle nod, he agreed to spend Christmas with her, his own heart stirred by the depth of her love and the sincerity of her longing.
And so, with tears of gratitude still glistening in her eyes, Kassandra led Elijah to one of the spare bedrooms, her heart overflowing with joy and relief at the prospect of sharing this sacred holiday with the brother she had thought lost to her forever.
~
As Christmas dawned, Kassandra and Elijah found themselves enveloped in the warmth and serenity of the holiday spirit. After attending the morning mass together, they embarked on a day filled with shared laughter and cherished memories, each moment a testament to the bond that had brought them back together after so many years apart.
In the evening, they ventured out onto the ice, the crisp winter air filled with the sounds of laughter and the soft swish of blades against the frozen surface. As Kassandra glided across the ice with effortless grace, her movements fluid and elegant, she couldn't help but glance back at Elijah, a playful twinkle in her eye.
"Come on 'Lijah! Join me!" she called out, her voice echoing across the ice as she urged her brother to join her in the joyous celebration of the holiday season.
But Elijah, ever the dignified gentleman, remained seated on the sidelines, content to watch his sister's exuberant display from afar. With a polite refusal, he declined her invitation, his eyes following her every movement with a fondness that spoke volumes.
Kassandra responded with mock sadness, her bottom lip jutting out in a playful pout as she teased her brother for his reluctance to join in the festivities. But Elijah's gentle chuckle only served to deepen her resolve, and she continued to skate with abandon, her laughter ringing out in the crisp night air.
"You're no fun..." she teased, her words laced with affection as she twirled gracefully across the ice, her heart overflowing with joy at the simple pleasure of spending this special day with her beloved brother by her side.
~
Once Kassie got her fill of skating on ice, they walked through the park back to her car. Night had fallen, the air was cold and crisp and in the distance church bells could be heard.
The park was mostly empty, save for a person here or there. Kassie put her arms around Elijah's forearm as they walked. It started snowing and after a few minutes, Kassie's long dark curls were covered with hundreds of snowflakes, her nose and cheeks rosy from the cold winter air.
She looked like an angel, Elijah thought as Kassie giggled. "What?" he asked curiously. She shook her head adorably.
"Remember when we were little and Bekah and I used to chase you around the village, trying to throw snowballs at you, and then all of a sudden Kol hit Bekah right in the face?" Kassie recounted, the joyful memory vivid in her mind even after a thousand years.
Elijah smiled. "She was furious. She would've ripped his head off if allowed. Thankfully, Mother stopped her."
Kassie giggled once more, the sound echoing in Elijah's ears. Under the light of the moon, covered in snow, she reminded him of the normal human childhood they once had. At that moment, an image of a little girl happily chasing after him popped up in his mind.
He was so deep in thought he hadn't noticed Kassie moving away from him and grabbing a handful of snow. What brought him back to reality was a dull hit to his right shoulder.
He turned around only to be hit again, this time right in the chest. Kassie looked at him, her hand covering her mouth to prevent herself from laughing. He gave her an unamused look and she burst out into giggles.
Elijah couldn't help but laugh as well.
Tumblr media
As the day came to a close, they went back to Kassandra's house. After dinner, Elijah stood by the fire and watched as the wood burned. "I don't want you to go," Kassandra's voice, filled with desperation, shattered the silence that hung heavy in the air, her plea echoing with the depth of her longing and the fear of losing her brother once more.
Elijah sighed softly, his heart heavy with the knowledge that this moment had been inevitable from the start. "I don't want to either," he admitted, his voice tinged with regret as he turned to face his sister. "But if Klaus finds out..."
He trailed off, the unspoken implications hanging between them like a dark cloud, the threat of their brother's wrath casting a shadow over their fragile reunion. For Klaus, ever vigilant and possessive of his siblings, discovering Elijah's presence would surely lead to dire consequences for them both, consequences that neither of them dared to contemplate.
"But you're my brother as well!" Kassandra argued, her voice rising with a fervor born of love and desperation, her eyes pleading with Elijah to reconsider his decision. In her heart, she knew that the bond between them was stronger than any threat Klaus could pose, stronger even than the passage of time itself.
But Elijah knew better than anyone the dangers that lurked in the shadows, the ever-present threat of their brother's unpredictable temper, and the lengths to which he would go to maintain control over his family. And so, with a heavy heart and a sense of resignation, Elijah made his decision, knowing that it was the only choice he could make to keep them both safe.
"I'll find a way to come back and I will avenge our siblings for what he had done to them," he promised, his voice soft but determined as he reached out to squeeze Kassandra's hand in reassurance. "Until then, stay safe, my dear sister. You'll always have a place in my heart, no matter where I may be."
And with those words, spoken with a solemnity that belied the depth of his love, Elijah turned away from the fire and the warmth of his sister's embrace, steeling himself for the journey ahead as he prepared to face the uncertain future that awaited him beyond the confines of her home.
Little did he know, Kassandra too would fall victim to Klaus's temper.
***
Hi lovelies, just wanted to say I've decided to put this series on a bit of a hold. College is kicking my ass and the second semester is harder than I thought.😭 I won't be free until the end of June so until then I'll only be posting one-shots or headcanons since they're easier to write.
For my HOTD fanfic, I have four chapters prewritten so that won't be a problem but for this one, I already posted all the chapters I wrote lol. Hope you can understand and have patience until I free myself from the shackles of the exam season💀
Love you and thanks for reading! ❤❤
If you have any opinions feel free to comment.

When the Party's Over ~ A Kai Parker One Shot
Tumblr media
*not my gif
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you get to spend today and all days ahead filled with joy and peace :)
Pairings: vampire!Reader x Heretic!Kai; ex-boyfriend!ElijahMikaelson x Reader; Damon x Elena; Klaus x Caroline
For the purposes of this story, Klaus and Caroline are a couple living together in Mystic Falls. Kol Mikaelson is still alive, but Finn is not.
This IS a reader insert fic; I just don’t like writing with Y/N in the place of names. Use Rosalie/Rose as a placeholder for Y/N and Wilson for L/N
Requested: No
Word Count: 5,562
Warnings/Callouts: Mentions of breakups/heartbreak, minor angst/darker emotions, scattered mature language, fake-relationship trope, best-friends-to-lovers trope, smut (18+ readers only!), soft!Dom!Kai, Daddy kink, blood sharing, unprotected sex (be responsible and safe!)
I got the idea for this piece while re-reading "I'll Wait." It is technically a sequel but will still be easy to follow/read as a oneshot if you haven't read that one.
Description: What do you do get when you put a bunch of vampires together in a room with a lot of food in November? You get a Mystic Falls Thanksgiving. Be wary of Original exes crashing the party...
Kai’s POV:
The alarm buzzed, and I turned over to shut it off. I’d already been awake for quite some time. The morning sunlight danced on the ceiling as I listened to the sound of Rosalie’s even breathing in her room down the hall. Five months ago, Rosalie drank herself numb and passed out in the Mystic Grill. I brought her to my apartment, and we’d been living together ever since. Her old apartment was one she’d shared with Elijah, and it was too painful for her to live there again. I, out of the goodness of my heart (or, more accurately, my own selfish desires), let her move in with me.
Life was a lot easier now; there were no vengeful siblings, no new villains knocking down our doors. For once, life in Mystic Falls was… normal. Shocker, I know.
What exactly defines normal in a town where every second person you walk by is a supernatural being? Normal is waking up in the morning and not anticipating something horrible will happen. It’s when things are calm, and you can trust the people around you. Strange how normal is the most abnormal for someone like me.
My feet touched the cool wooden planks, and half the blanket followed me up. With a quick snap, the bed was made. Coffee was brewing, and bread was toasting. This was the rhythm we had fallen into. Whoever was awake first took care of breakfast, and the other managed the cleanup after.
I didn’t bother throwing a shirt on. Being roommates came with its unique forms of intimacy, though not in the way I would’ve wanted. Nevertheless, I’d promised myself I’d wait. I’ll wait for her until she’s no longer hurting – when she’s ready to accept how I feel.
Rosalie’s POV:
“Rosalie, I have to leave you,” Elijah spoke solemnly. He had rarely loved in all the centuries he’d been alive, and it was even rarer the love was returned. Unfortunately, something always trumped the pursuit of love: his honor and his family.
If anything in this dream came back in perfect detail, it was the wave of emotions I felt. My mind replayed them night after night. First came the confusion and denial. “What does that mean?” Elijah had answered me, but even now, I don’t remember his words. My ears refused the intake of all sound. The heartbreak had taken over. “We… I am leaving you.” It couldn’t be true. He was my everything. He was my first. He swore he’d never leave me, not for the rest of our immortal lives.
Without warning, something in the scene shifted. Suddenly, it wasn’t Elijah turning my heart to dust. It was Malachai. Within me, I felt a snap. My knees gave out, and I stumbled to the ground just as I had with Elijah. The stream of tears down my cheeks was new.
I had not sobbed this way when Elijah left me. This was a new pain entirely. “Kai, please…” He looked down upon my curled figure on the ground, completely silent. When the hot tears blurred my vision, I could just barely see him walking away, leaving me even more broken than I already was.
When the dream escaped me and consciousness came back, I didn’t want to open my eyes. Though I was awake, my mind was plagued with jarring images of Kai leaving me instead of Elijah. Somehow, though I was only his friend, I believed losing Malachai would hurt so much more.
Shoving my comforter aside, I dragged myself to the bathroom. The lightbulbs flickered on, and I stared at my exhausted expression. When Elijah left me, I felt like I’d been discarded. There was no other word for it. Someone who promised to never walk away left for a reason as flimsy as needing to protect his sister – a thousand-year-old vampire perfectly capable of protecting herself. Klaus and Kol didn’t run off to Rebekah’s side, so Elijah volunteered.
The worst part was the "honorable man" card he got to play. How are you supposed to fault someone for leaving to protect their family? It was all so frustrating. From the kitchen, I heard the coffee maker chime and the bread pop out, a signal that my little pity party needed to end. Gathering up some cold water from the running faucet, I splashed it against my face in the vain hope of getting some color back.
When I walked in, Kai was reaching up to grab plates and mugs. Turning around, he gave me a quick smile in morning greeting. I had to return it, of course. During all this time, Malachai was the one that kept me grounded. He’d been so patient – goofy when I needed a laugh and silent when I needed someone to listen. He was the perfect companion. If he was tired of me, it didn’t show.
Still silent, he handed me my plate, bringing his own over to the couch. I plopped down beside Kai, glancing at him from the corner of my eye. A random Netflix show began playing in the background as we ate. Whether he knew it or not, Malachai brought me a great deal of peace.
I looked at him once more, my heart throbbing painfully as it reminded me of the horrid dream. This time, Kai’s eyes met my own with an unspoken question shining in them. He raised a brow slightly, and I shook my head, attempting to smile. He seemed unconvinced, but he didn’t pry.
Thank god for that. If he had, I would have lied.
Kai's POV, later that afternoon:
“Rosalie, hurry up! According to the manically detailed itinerary Caroline gave us, we were supposed to be at the Mikaelson’s place twenty minutes ago.” Even as I spoke, I pulled the caramel apple pie out of the oven, fanning it to get it to cool some. The whole apartment smelled wonderful, like an autumn day come to life. I closed my eyes, enjoying the scent of apples, cinnamon, and toasted sugar.
When they opened, I met with the sight of Rose slipping into her coat. I couldn’t fight my smirk when I saw her outfit. Without planning it, we were completely coordinated: deep green sweaters, dark wash jeans, and long, flowing black coats. I saw the realization in her eyes and adored the sound of her resulting laugh. “Are you trying to copy me, Malachai?” Letting out an exaggerated sigh, I grinned at her. “Me? I’ve been ready to leave for thirty minutes. If anything, you’re trying to copy my style.”
Wrapping up the pie, I grabbed the car keys, spinning them around my finger. “Don’t worry, though. I pull it off much better than you.” Rosalie rolled her eyes, giving me a playful shove. “Let’s go before Caroline decides to murder us on arrival.”
~
The engine hummed to a stop. The sun had already set, bathing the surrounding land in darkness. When the headlights switched off, Rosalie and I shared a look. I wanted to reach out and touch her silken hair, to let her know she wasn’t alone. I knew tonight would be difficult for her – spending time with Mikaelsons wasn’t her favorite, not with all the memories it brought back –and Rose needed to understand I was there for her. “You can do this. I’m right beside you.” Without giving me any words in response, she reached for my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze of gratitude.
“Let’s go.” We walked to the front door, the dessert in my hands. Rosalie opened the door, thoughtfully left unlocked by the hosts, taking the pie from my hands. Caroline stormed to the foyer, partially receiving her guests as the hostess and also ready to rip us both a new one for messing up her schedule. “Before you say anything Care, you and the house both look lovely.”
Rose gave Caroline a heart-stopping smile and annoyed as she was, her friend had to smile in return. “Alright, alright, just come in.” I helped Rosalie out of her coat, hanging it up on the golden coat hooks before taking care of my own. Everything in this house looked like it was antique and ridiculously expensive. Our matching outfits didn’t escape Caroline’s attention, but she was typing something. Rose’s phone buzzed with a text seconds later.
She read it and froze in her tracks. Caroline took the dessert from her hands and went inside, perhaps to give her a moment. “Rosalie?” Still saying nothing, Rose handed me her phone, letting me read the message myself. ‘I should’ve told you earlier, but Elijah is here.’ I waved a hand, putting a silencing spell on the room so our conversation wouldn’t be heard by anyone else.
“Elijah, like – Elijah?” She nodded, visibly trembling. “Kai, I…” Biting my lip, I took hold of her shoulders, turning her so she’d face me. “What do you want to do? Do you want to get out of here? What do you need? What can I do?” Though she was upset, I couldn’t stop the barrage of questions I threw at her. Rose only shook her head again, which wasn’t enough of a response for me. Thankfully, she spoke without any more questions from me.
“No. We’re here to have a nice Thanksgiving with our friends. He’s here. I suppose it makes sense. He’s Klaus’s brother, after all. Of course, he’s here.” She rambled on. When she looked into my eyes, I could read how conflicted Rose was. My teeth gritted together, and as my hands left her shoulders, they clenched into fists at my side. Being civil with Elijah was going to be an uphill battle, and I hadn’t even set eyes on him yet.
Even so, my anger wasn’t important. Whatever Rosalie needed tonight she would get. “Just… don’t leave my side, Malachai.” I wrapped my arms around her, enveloping her. It didn’t matter if she was just relying on me as her best friend. This hug was for me, the one slip I was allowing myself after months of swallowing emotions back. “I won’t, I promise.”
Pressing a kiss to her forehead, I lifted the silencing spell. Rosalie whispered her quiet thanks, and I didn’t let go of her hand. We just didn’t realize someone was watching.
A man I hadn’t seen before, presumably Elijah, cleared his throat. By instinct, I expected Rose to let go of my hand, but she only held on tighter. Clearing her throat, she walked towards him with me not far behind. “Hello, Elijah.” I was impressed with how she sounded: perfectly composed and unbothered by the man she still had torturous dreams about. “Rosalie. You look good. Happy…”
The word trailed off of Elijah’s lips, hanging in the air between us. “And this is?” She released my hand then, though I could tell she missed the contact as soon as her fingers slipped from mine. Or at least I hoped so. I know I did.
“Malachai Parker, Heretic.” The hand that was in Rose’s met his in greeting. “Elijah Mikaelson.” In stark contrast to hers, Elijah’s hand was ice cold. “You must be her new boyfriend. Congratulations.” The words weren’t spoken with any hint of malice, just resignation. Was it so easy for him to let her go? If it were me and the girl I loved dated was with someone else, I’d be livid. “Elijah, Kai isn–”
“Kai is pleased to meet you.” I smiled at Elijah like he was an old friend, ignoring him once I put my arm around Rose. She caught on very quickly (that’s my girl!) and mirrored my action. One hand came around my waist while the other rested comfortably yet casually on my chest. “Thank you. We’ve been dating for, what, maybe three months now?”
She looked up at me for confirmation, her eyes shining. We’d spent too much time together recently; if the wordless conversations we had daily were any indication, we’d be able to pull this off very well. “Three months and five days.” Within the statement was a veiled truth; we’d been living together for five months and three days.
Elijah looked between us. We just kept looking at each other. For now, I had free reign to look at her the way I wanted, to touch her as if she were mine. I wouldn’t let that go for anything or anyone. I didn’t know what she was thinking, and I wished some part of her wanted me, too.
Presumably uncomfortable, Elijah cleared his throat. “Well, um… it was nice to meet you, Malachai. I think I should take my leave. Niklaus, Kol… I’m heading back to New Orleans tonight.” His brothers rushed into the room, filled with questions. We simply stood and watched the show. With one last glance, Elijah left, and Kol trailed behind him. “Elijah! Sorry, brother. Thanks for the invitation.”
Klaus raised an eyebrow at us, comprehension gleaming in his expression. “And then there were six.” With great reluctance, I let Rosalie go. The act was up.
“Rosalie Wilson!” Caroline’s high-pitched voice echoed through the large foyer. Elena leaned against the doorframe leading to the dining room, also looking equally upset. “You and Kai have been dating for three months and you didn’t tell me?!”
Then again, maybe not.
Rosalie’s POV:
Oh boy. Caroline was pissed. Swallowing nervously, I attempted a cool smile. Linking my arm with Kai’s – who thankfully continued the show with me – I responded, “I know, Care. It’s just that… after my breakup with Elijah, I wanted to take things slowly and just be careful. After being with Kai day in and day out, I knew I wanted to be with him. I didn’t want to risk anything by moving too quickly.” My monologue had come to a close, and Kai finished the script. “We were planning on telling you all tonight anyhow. It just happened to come out in a… not-so-fun way.” Everyone stared at us, all with varying degrees of interest.
Damon was swirling his bourbon around in an ornate glass; he was all set and didn’t care much about anyone except Elena. Elena seemed to have heard and understood where I was coming from. Klaus was playing with Caroline’s hair as he hugged her from behind, perhaps trying to quell her distress. And Malachai…
Kai was staring at me with this pure, unbridled love in his eyes. I thought it would hurt to play the role of a happy girlfriend. In that moment, I found myself believing that if I was with Kai, I wouldn't be hurt again. I had the same thought months ago when I was deeply mourning my breakup. Even then, I’d thought about being with him. For now, even though it was make-believe, I’d cherish it.
“So!” Kai’s voice bounced off the walls. “I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m starving.”
~
Dinner was wonderful. Caroline was always the perfect hostess, and the food was wonderful. Given that two of the guests had disappeared, there was plenty to go around. Garlic and rosemary mashed potatoes, a gorgeous roast turkey, savory apple and sausage stuffing, orange cranberry sauce, cornbread… we’d all be eating leftovers for a month.
Malachai was even more caring than usual now that he was playing the role of my boyfriend. He made sure I didn’t have to reach for anything I wanted, refilled my water whenever he did his own, and kept some form of physical contact with me sporadically. The only thing missing from this equation was flirting, but this was better. It felt… real. Grounded. As easy as breathing.
Before we played a game or two, I’d excused myself to take a breather. This whole day had been a rollercoaster. With my scarring dream to Elijah showing up to this drama Kai and I were putting on, it had been overwhelming. I leaned against the shut bathroom door, just taking a few deep breaths.
My phone chimed a special tone that rang only when Kai texted me. “Don’t take so long, darling ;)”
My eyes looked upwards from my phone screen to the mirror in front of me. The expression on my face was one I never imagined I’d feel again. It was true, unadulterated joy. For the first time in what seemed like an eternity, my smile reached my eyes. Only Kai could make me feel this way.
Kai's POV:
I slipped my phone back into my pocket, pleased with my playful flirtation. I’d wanted this for a long time; I was going to milk it for all it was worth. Klaus handed me a glass of this warm spiced rum, which I graciously accepted. At least it wasn’t Damon’s bourbon again. Bourbon wasn’t my thing. I was secure enough in my masculinity.
I lounged on the couch, my feet propped up on the glass table. One wince from Caroline, and I straightened up. Rose came back then, and I took a seat on the floor where Elena was setting up Settlers of Catan. She sat down next to me, leaning against my shoulder. The line between friends and something more had always been blurry in our relationship. This made things even more confusing. How much of this was the act? How much was what she truly wanted?
Ultimately, it didn’t matter. Hadn’t I already decided to make the most of this time? I wouldn’t let the idea of losing it ruin what I felt right now. Playing my role – and giving into what I wanted all along – I hugged Rosalie closer to me, resting my head against hers. I handed her the glass of spiced rum, encouraging her to try it. She took a sip, humming thoughtfully. I knew she didn’t truly like rum, but she seemed to like this. Taking full advantage of the opportunity, I kissed her cheek softly. I heard her heartbeat hastened in response; was it from anxiety or excitement?
We played the game with our friends, laughing and enjoying the party. When it became apparent the only possible winners would be Caroline or Elena, we joined their boyfriends in cheering them on. My hand clasped Rosalie’s under the coffee table, linking our fingers together. No one saw our hands there. This was just for us. The night wore on. The more I got to live out my true desire, the more I feared I wouldn’t be able to let it go. I was selfish that way. What would happen when the party’s over?
Rosalie's POV:
It was midnight before we realized it. A full moon climbed up the night sky, visiting its starry friends in the sky. We bid our friends goodnight and headed home. As Kai slipped into the driver’s seat, turning the engine on, I realized I suddenly didn’t know what to say or do.
Malachai seemed to not have any ideas either, and we drove to our apartment in absolute silence. Even our deep understanding of each other wouldn’t help here, not when we were trying to uncover something we didn’t have a name for.
The drive had somehow been both unbearably long and unbelievably quick at the same time. We walked inside side by side, my ears picking up even the clink of the lock as it opened. “So, um… you really saved me tonight. First with him, and then with Caroline.”
Kai grinned at me while taking off his shoes and hanging up our coats. Even in the low lighting of our home, I could tell it wasn’t the same. “I did, didn’t I? That’s what best friends are for.” I don’t know what fantasies my mind had begun spinning. Malachai was just saving my skin. We would tell them all it was an act later. That made sense, I suppose. “Best friends… right.”
“Oh, screw this.” Within fractions of a second, Kai’s hands cupped my face. He looked at me almost severely, his eyes swirling with so many emotions at once. It was an unnavigable storm, and I was nearly lost in it. I would’ve been had he not crushed his lips against mine.
I didn’t freeze, nor was I all that surprised. This was Malachai, and I knew him as I knew myself. I’d wanted him for a long time, I just wouldn’t let myself admit it. Our lips meshed together, sliding between each other’s beautifully. His hands traveled from my face to my neck. Continuing down my sides, Kai finally reached his destination when his palms slipped into the back pockets of my jeans.
“Jump up onto me, baby.” He pulled away to give me his breathless command. I eagerly obliged, wrapping my legs around his waist. Claiming my lips once again, he carried me off to his room. I fell back onto his bed, and Kai followed suit, hovering over me. Raining kisses down my neck, Malachai elicited a moan from me, something that made him stop.
“Rosalie… tell me I’m not alone in craving you. Am I aching for you all alone? Tell me you want me, too.” His eyes were imploring, his voice so quiet it only reached me. I tenderly dragged my hand across his cheek, pressing a kiss to his jaw. “It’s not just you, Kai. I… I never realized how much I needed you. Not until tonight.”
That was all he needed to hear. Enveloping my lips with his once more, his left hand took hold of both my wrists, holding them up above my head. The other trailed down my torso, landing on my waist and sneaking under my sweater. His warmth, his scent, and even the smallest of sounds he made were perfection. When his fingers found the button of my jeans, I froze up under him. Our passionate embrace came to a skidding stop.
“What is it? Did I go too far? I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean–” He rambled with concern, and I cut him off with a soft kiss. “No, it’s not you. You’re perfect. It’s me…” The last person I was with – the only person I’d been with – was Elijah. When he left me, he shattered some hidden part of my soul. If Malachai and I were to cross this line, there would be no turning back. I’d need him forever, and if that wasn’t what he desired, then he shouldn’t waste his time with me. “For me, this isn’t about right now.
“It’s about forever, which means something very different in our world. If that’s too much for you, or if that’s not what you want, I don’t think we should go there… not tonight.” Kai released my hands, and I was staring down at the bedspread. With an unanticipated, gentle gesture, he lifted my chin such that I looked into his eyes. His were certain, unwavering. There seemed to be no doubt at all in his mind as he spoke.
“I love you, Rosalie.” My breath caught in my throat, and I momentarily tensed up. The way I felt for him was consuming, stronger than anything I’d known before. But I’d been hurt at this same crossroads, and I didn’t know if I could travel down that path just yet.
“You don’t have to say it back. Just listen to me.” Malachai’s hand shifted from my chin, now resting against my cheek. I nuzzled into it instinctively, desperate for his warmth and closeness.
“I love you. I’ve loved you for some time now. Loving someone… well, it was never something that I thought could happen to me. But you…” Kai began playing with my hair, moving us so that I was sitting in his lap. I rested my head on his shoulder as he spoke, listening intently. “You brought so much into my life. You are my best friend, and I know you as well as I know myself.
“You don’t have to say it back. If you want me to, I’ll wait for as long as you need.” He squeezed me in his embrace, resting his head against mine. “I won’t cross any boundaries until you take them down.”
Lifting Kai’s hand from my waist, I gingerly opened his palm. With a deliberate softness, I pressed my lips to each of his fingertips. He had to know how much I cared about him, even if I couldn’t put it into words as he had.
Malachai understood me instantly, and when I looked up at him, his kiss stole the rest of my thoughts. Turning in his lap, I wrapped myself around him. My fingers snaked upwards, intertwining with the hair at the base of his neck. Kai only tugged me closer until every inch of me melded with him.
“Mm… Rose…” I couldn’t pull away, even as he tried to speak. “Rosalie…” Whimpering ever so slightly, I obliged and moved away just an inch. “Are you sure you want this tonight? I need you to be certain, princess. You need to be prepared to be mine, from now until forever.” I nodded, unable to find my voice, but that didn’t seem to be enough. “I need your words, Rose. Tell me if you want this. If not, I’ll stop, I promise.”
“I want you, Malachai. Please…” He smiled, and it warmed my heart. The next kiss he pressed to my lips was so very tender, as if he were touching something dearly precious to him. Perhaps he was.
Kai's POV:
I held Rosalie delicately, shifting us so she lay beneath me once more. I was afraid of frightening her, making her run if I made too many of my needs known too soon; with how long I’d desired for this, some were bound to slip through despite my best intentions. I moved away from her lips, finding the sensitive skin of her neck instead. Trailing my mouth across her collarbone, I nipped at it playfully, loving the little gasp I got from her in response.
One hand pulled the sleeve of her sweater off of her shoulder, and I nestled into the crook there, sucking on her flesh and leaving my mark there. A deep, primal possessiveness woke within me when Rosalie’s hands found my body. She wrapped her arms around me, clutching me close to her. “I’m here, baby. I’m not going anywhere.”
Moving ever so slowly, I stripped her clothes from her. With every inch exposed, I peppered more kisses onto her skin, hoping to find the light within her and make it mine. When Rose lay bare beneath me, it took immeasurable control to keep things gentle. There would be more time for other explorations.
With the way my arms enveloped her, Rose couldn’t move much. When she asked to touch me, to feel me as I felt her, how could I possibly say no? With frenzied hands, she undressed me. Her cool skin was flush against my own, getting hotter with every passing second. My erection pressed against her trembling upper thigh, eliciting a desperate groan from us both.
There was much I ached to do before I claimed her for the first time. Looking into her eyes, I let my fingers slide down her stomach to her sex. That one touch made me lose to the lust I was trying so hard to hold back. There was a narcotic power in her gaze. Whether she knew it or not, I was at her mercy and would be for as long as she wanted me.
I sank a finger inside her, laying kisses down her body. Pumping it in and out steadily, I studied her reactions. She was exquisite. Her eyes were shut tightly, her fingers clasping at my shoulders as my tongue flicked against her hard nipples. My cold rings rubbed against her outer folds with every thrust of my fingers, and the shudder she gave was delicious.
When my lips finally met my fingers to pleasure her, Rose bucked forward off the bed. Pinned down by my firm grip, there was nowhere for her to escape the ecstasy I had in store for her. My fingers pushed deeper into her with each penetration, curling upwards to find her pleasure center inside her. She screamed for me, and I fucking loved it. “That’s it, baby girl. Just let go. Let me make you feel good.” My tongue joined in, sloppily consuming her liquid desire. I’d yearned to worship her body this way for so long, and I wouldn’t be done for a long time. Her walls clenched around my fingers, her legs splayed over my shoulders. “Are you going to cum for me, Rosalie? Are you going to cum for me like a good girl?”
Her reply came mixed with breathless moans and eager whimpers. “Yes, Daddy… I’m so close, please don’t stop!” Daddy? Her words pulled a growl from my chest, and I was invigorated. Pulling away, I gave her the command to cum for me, my thumb rubbing her clit while my fingers didn’t let up their attack. “Cum for Daddy, princess. Show Daddy how good he makes you feel.”
The dam of her pleasure exploded, and she unraveled under me. It was so fucking beautiful, and it was all mine. She was all mine. The sight of her made me desperate to quench my own thirst, and before her first orgasm could even subside, my throbbing cock replaced my fingers, my lips silencing her sounds.
Rosalie's POV:
Stars clouded my eyes. The only thing on my mind was Malachai. It took me over completely. I was his, and I didn’t want it any other way. Our tongues danced together when our kiss grew more torrid, our bodies rocking together and the bed along with us. He pulled away, staring down at me. One strong arm stabilized his body on the headboard, his muscles tensing with effort; his other hand wrapped around my throat, holding me down.
One orgasm melted into the second, making me writhe under him. “Ohhh, fuck!” His heated gaze bore into me as I came undone once more. My eyelids shut tightly in rapture, but that earned another growl from him. “Keep your eyes on me, Rosalie. I want to watch you cum for me over…” His hips slammed forward, making my breath halt in my chest. “Over…” Driving into me, Daddy stole all ounces of my sanity. "And over again. We’re not done until you’ve cum so many times you can’t think.”
“Mmgghh, Daddy! I’ve already – ahh! – done that!” My body quivered, overwhelmed with the sensations still coursing through me. My aching sex clamped around him as he continued pounding into me. “One more, baby girl. Can you give Daddy one more orgasm? Please?” Kai almost begged, and it was the hottest thing I’d ever heard.
Digging my teeth into my lower lip, I nodded. Kai leaned down to kiss my neck, whispering a soft, “Thank you, princess” in my ear. With the way he sped up, I could feel he was reaching his climax. Both our labored breathing and groans melted into the sound of our skin slapping together. “Bite me, love. Drink from Daddy.”
With an eager moan, I sank my teeth into his neck, loving the bite of him down the same. We drank from each other, completely connected by mind, body, and soul. Malachai reached the zenith of his pleasure, bringing me tumbling down another wave of bliss along with him. Our lustful sounds of orgasm were drowned in each other’s necks as we drank our fill.
When the sensations subsided, our lips met with a sense of completion and exhaustion. The lingering essence of each other remained in our mouths, making the kiss all the more fulfilling. When Kai slid out of me, I almost complained. With a kiss to my forehead, he summoned a washcloth, wiping away our sweat, blood, and love juices.
“How are you feeling, baby? I tried to go slow at first, but I don’t think I was all that successful.” Once cleaned up, Kai wrapped himself around me, spooning my smaller body with his larger one. I couldn’t see his eyes this way, but I could feel his heartbeat thumping against my back. It was soothing. “I’m perfect, Malachai. Thank you for tonight.” Earlier, I’d mentioned how he’d saved me tonight by pretending to be my boyfriend. I hadn’t realized it, but he’d saved me in many other ways. He saved my heart, got it back, and put it together after someone else crushed it. I would always be grateful to him for that.
Unable to stop himself, Kai pressed soft kisses to my chin and neck, holding me even closer. “Anytime.” He chuckled about something, and I was just about to inquire when he said, “That’s what boyfriends are for.” Laughing at the clever echo of his earlier words, I turned to face him. My hand rested on his cheek, his blue eyes shining in the dim lighting. My thumb caressed his skin, giving him a small fraction of the love and affection he deserved.
“Malachai Parker, I hope you know how perfect you are.” He grinned, kissing my nose. “Am I? Be sure to tell me that, at least three times a day.” Taking one of his hands, I kissed each of his fingertips once more, cherishing every part of him. “You are, and I love you.”

Would Freya ever come up in ‘Starting Over’? I know you did a oneshot with her and Kol (which I loved btw) but I know she isn’t a proper character in the main fic <3
Hi! I don't have plans to introduce Freya or FInn to this fic. Down the line, I do want to do a proper Mikaelson family fic with all the siblings (including Henrik), their spouses and all the kids, but I want to get enough ideas and develop it well.
Thank you so much for your support. <3

Make Me
Finn Mikaelson X Reader
Word Count: 1394
Request: Anon
Request: Hey, can you make one Finn Mikaelson x reader one shot when he’s afraid of hurting her, so she’s comfort him? Something fluffy, please. I love your writing
Tumblr media
Finn was known for hurting people, it didn't matter who they were whether he loved or hated them and that was why he found it so hard to understand why you were still there, you were a girl that he never meant to meet or get close to after all he was supposed to be dying, his mother was supposed to kill him but that plan went wrong in so many ways that he wasn't even sure that it was going to work anymore either way, you ended up sticking by him and it seemed that you were getting closer until one day you weren't his siblings had made an appearance but it wasn't like you knew who they were, he told you that he didn't get along with his family but that was all that you knew.
You were sitting in a little cafe in town you had a cup of coffee next to you and a textbook out to your left and a notebook to your right as you poured over some study material a shadow cast over your table and you smirked: "took you long enough to get here." You mumbled as you looked up but you frowned, it wasn't Finn. "Sorry, I thought that you were someone else, can I help you?" You asked. "Someone said that you would know where my brother Finn is." You raised an eyebrow at the male, your hand moved to your bag as it closed around the vervain spray, there was something that you hadn't told Finn and that was that you were a hunter, you knew what he was and who his family were and the fact that you were looking at Klaus Mikaelson right now put you on edge. "I assume you know who I am." He smirked as he sat opposite you. "So Finn talks about his family?" "Nope." You shook your head before picking up the coffee on the table "he never speaks about you, Rebekah, Elijah or Kol." You shrugged "my parents did though, didn't like you at all but they were hunters so what could you do." "And now you are in bed with a vampire," Klaus smirked as he leaned forward. "I like you, I do wish that we were on the same side." "Well we're not and I have laces to be and exams to study for." You informed him before putting some money on the table but before you could walk away from the table Klaus grabbed your wrist. "I'm not done talking to you." He said and you rolled your eyes before grabbing the vervain and spraying it on his hand, he snatched his hand back and that allowed you to leave the cafe, thinking that you saw a flash of Finn before going home.
That night Finn was supposed to be coming over but when he didn't show, you were worried that his siblings had managed to find him but just as you were about to go and find out for yourself your phone buzzed, it was a text from Finn telling you that he wouldn't be able to make it so you relaxed a little and decided to just go on with the rest of your evening. The ease only lasted a couple of days, you had seen Finn around but he seemed to be avoiding you now, you didn't know why but if you were right and you did see him that day he probably heard your conversation with his brother and maybe even thought that you were dangerous, or using him, you had been to his apartment on may occasions so you just decided to make your way over there. You knocked and no one answered, you twisted the doorknob and the door swung open, you knew that you didn't need to but you called out for him anyway no one answered so you took a seat in his living room and waited. "Your lucky I didn't kill you," Finn commented as he walked into the living room. "Sure I am." You mumbled as you turned to look at him, he didn't even stop for a second as he walked straight into the kitchen. "You don't want to know why I'm here?" "I don't care why you're here." He answered. "Is this because I'm a hunter or because you saw me talking to your brother?" You asked, he didn't answer and you rolled your eyes "Well for your information your brother found me. Apparently someone told him that I knew where you were, I didn't tell him anything though." "I know that." He answered. "Then what the hell is going on?" You asked. "Why won't you even look at me?  I don't plan on living a hunters life, I wouldn't be doing all this studying if I did-" "This isn't about you being a hunter either." He cut you off "it's not even about you." He answered honestly. "What are you talking about?" You asked. "This is about you getting hurt." He answered. "I'm not hurt." You frowned. "Klaus grabbed me but I'm not hurt." You rolled up your sleeve, shoving your wrist in his face "see." "You’re not hurt yet." He answered, "but being around me is just going to get you hurt, everyone is looking for me and that means that they are going to try and get to me through you." "You think I'm safer without you around?" You asked. "Of course you are." He clenched his fists "I'm a monster just like the rest of my family, if they don't hurt you I will, it's only a matter of time." You shook your head and laughed, it caused him to look at you. "You want to know something?" You asked. "The only reason that I'm even living a semi-normal life right now is you. I'll show you." You took his hand and walked him into his living room, you sat down and kicked off your shoes, you rolled up your trouser leg to reveal a rather nasty scar. "This is from a wolf from a pack that my family had been hunting, they figured that if they got me they'd be able to trade their lives for mine, didn't work out for them, they found me too late and it was a full moon, I just about managed to escape." Finn walked over running his fingers over the scar. "This was why you were limping when we met?" He asked and you nodded. "My family put Me in danger everyday but being with you means that most things don't bother coming after me." You answered. "It's far more trouble to fight a Mikaelson." "That doesn't stop me from hurting you." He dismissed you and you rolled your eyes before proceeding to point out and explain every scar on your body once you were done you looked at him again. "Did I mention you once?" You asked and he shook his head. "You've caused me no harm, in fact, you've probably saved me from far more." "How can you say all that knowing who I am?" He asked and you looked at him and smiled. "Finn I've heard about you many times but I only believe what I've seen and what I've seen is a man that wants to be loved and understood the same as anyone else and I promise you that you deserve that and I'm willing to give that to you." You promised. "But if you want me to leave then you have to make me." You took off the vervain bracelet and put it on the coffee table in front of you "choice is yours."  Finn leaned forward hands resting gently on your cheeks, he could see the tears welling up in your eyes before his gaze drifted to your parted lips, it took him only a second to decide what he really wanted and that was you as close to him as possible, knowing that he could hurt you was one thing but knowing that there were other who can and will hurt you as soon as he was gone was far different. He wanted to be the one to protect you to keep you safe, you gave being a monster a purpose and he'd be named if he let you go now.
He leaned forward and pressed his lips to yours.
Requests and general question!

You ignore Kol on purpose cause you like him and he always annoys you cause that's the only time you pay attention to him. One night something happens and you save his life and she ends up telling him how she feels about him. *Reader is a witch.

"did you know the human has 206 bones, i could snap each one of them within 4 minutes" the annoying, insufferable youngest Mikaelson says lounging around in my room.
I continue to read my book quietly, Kol had been stating weird fun facts for the past hour trying to get me to respond to his childish behaviour.
"Kol if you please-" "She finally speaks. after what a month?" Kol says impressed with himself "Did my weird facts, bore you to death enough to talk to me love?" he says causing me to scoff.
"If anything you said were to have an effect on me it certainly wouldn't be facts, I just want to go to bed yet you're here, Why?" I ask him closing my book.
"I had a question." he says tilting his head with a smile "go ahead." I sigh "why do you ignore me?" he asks and I open my book back up, "y/n?" he says "are you going to answer." he continues.
My mind starts to forget Kol was there until I heard the sudden sound of the door closing, looking up to see that the 1000 year old vampire had vanished from right in front of me.
Closing my book and placing it onto my nightstand, I get up walking around my house flipping each light switch off eventually returning back to my room laying down on my bed.
Resting my head on my pillow closing my eyes and falling alseep.
the next day
My phone started ringing, waking me up it was Klaus. What would Klaus have to call me for?
"What you woke me up Kl-" "When was the last time you saw Kol" the hybrid cuts me off, his anxious tone and worrying breathing was now able to be heard "Last night when he left? Well I suppose I didn't see him when he left but he was at my house last night-" "when did he leave?" the hybrid cuts me off once more.
"God Klaus I don't know maybe 11pm." I sigh "and he just left? Did he tell you where he was going?" Klaus bombards me with questions "What No? You know I ignore the things that come out of his ridiculous old vampire mouth. What happened?" I ask him.
"He's missing, Marcel claims it wasn't him and my siblings have no reason to harm him so who else would have him." Klaus says in a panic "I'll look for him, Klaus, I'll let you know." I clear my throat as he hangs up, I check the time it was only 5am meaning he left only 6 hours ago.
What could have happened in the small time of 6 hours? I don't understand he's one of the strongest beings in the world.
Rushing out of my room and grabbing a map, out to the unusually asleep town of New Orleans. "That's strange." I mumble, rushing over to the Mikaelson Mansion "what are you doing here." Elijah asks.
"give me some of your blood." I say to the far older man standing before me "what?" he says confused "if i want to find your brother, i need your blood. I'll do a spell or whatever." I say starting to panic about how serious this situation is.
I hand him my pocket knife, laying my map on the floor. Elijah cuts his hand holding it above the map the blood leaking down from his hand down to the map. I close my eyes, focusing on the map "Phasmatos Tribum Nas Ex Veras, Sequita Saguines, Ementas Asten Mihan Ega Petous" I mutter quietly opening my eyes.
Elijah hovers over my shoulder watching the blood move from New Orleans to "Jefferson?" Elijah questions "What's in Jefferson?" I look up to him before the map burns as does the blood that soon soaked into the map.
"Jefferson" I whisper remembering what Kol had said last night, when he was rambling on about his random facts he said the Jefferson was the one place he felt that he didn't belong since all the vampires there we angrier, more edgy he felt out of place most there and it inconveniently was placed in the town next to ours.
"Maybe there is someone there, someone that hates him..." I drag out "What?" Elijah says staring at me as I look up to him "He was explaining stupid weird facts last night and he said he'd never return to Jefferson, it's edgy, creepy and they hate your family alot." I mumble placing a finger on my chin.
"Do you know anyone in Jefferson, anyone that hates you or Kol possibly Klaus." I ask Elijah and he shakes his head "probably every supernatural being in the town." Elijah hums "I forgot who I was talking too" I cough before Elijah speeds off, great now im by myself.
I close my eyes, trying to channel Kol to at least find any speck of where he is in the god forbidden town.
He was blinking, blinking, he was weak and in a warehouse. Then he was knocked unconscious because before I knew it I was looking around at the Mikaelson house once again.
"a fucking warehouse" I mutter before rushing off.
a few hours later
6th Warehouse and no luck, just pulling up to the 7th one I hear screams, more or less yells of pain.
Hopping out my car, running into the warehouse to see Kol on the floor, a bunch of vampires around it.
They seemed to be night walkers aka nazis, Kol had told me that they hated his family the most. Lord knows why but nobody really has a reason when they're supernatural.
The vampires stare at me, their fangs coming through as I raise my hand to them and they all collapse to the ground, holding their domes as that was the centre of their pain.
"Kol" I gasp as blood starts coming out of his mouth "What did you do to him?" I rush over to Kol lowering my hand "motus" i whisper sending the vampires out of the warehouse doors as they burn alive trying to rush in "Phasmatos veras nos ex malom. Terra mora vantis quo incandis per vasa quo errum signos" I say spelling a boundary around the warehouse as the nazi vampires burnt alive outside.
"Kol?" I say holding his head "Kol?" I repeat getting more and more worried by the second "if you think at any point this is funny, I'll murder you myself wake up." I slap him gently hoping he'd wake up yet the blood kept pouring out of the side of his mouth "no, no, no." I panic.
Trying to think of a healing spell, any spell that could stop whatever was happening but the only spell I could think of was the spell where he'd have to die first.
A spell that only saved him if I said it a minute after he died or he'd be dead for good.
Now I wished he would die faster "die, stupid idiot." I slap him the blood still spilling out.
Minutes pass and the blood stops, I listen to his heart as it finally slowed down "ancestors, bare with me for resurrecting a mikaelson but he needs to know something before he dies for the hundredth time." closing my eyes, lowering his head onto the ground as I put my hand over his heart.
"Phasmatos sanguine infudare corra" I chant Phasmatos sanguine infudare corra" I chant once more, the power flowing through my veins, to my hands and then my fingertips soon leaving and connecting to his body.
He sits up gasping for air, frightening me at the same time "y/n, y/n, where is-" he pause spinning around to see me "nice to know you care for me when you wake up from the dead." I dust off my knees standing back up.
"How did that even happen?" i ask him putting my hand up for him to grab and pull himself up "I, honestly don't know. I was running home and then my neck, was snapped." he says rubbing his neck "all I taste is blood." he says smacking his lips "yeah well you might need some blood by the amount of the ground." I say pointing to where he had just died in the pool of blood.
"Now you stop being ignorant" he smirks wiping his mouth raising my hand and slapping him he places his hand on his cheek "that left a mark." I smile at him "next time don't bore me to death with your facts, oh wait, I have a fun fact for you." I smirk to him "what's that? I never say sorry when you save my arse." he chuckles.
"You scared me to death so I have to tell you this before you die again and I'm not here to save you. My fun fact is that I ignore you because every time you talk to me, I fall more and more in love with you. Right Now I think I can't be any more in love with you but then who knows you might scare me again." I shrug before walking off.
"Now what did you do with those vampires?" he asks and I ignore him, raising my middle finger "well i need a ride back." he yells and I lower my finger as he races to my car.
"I shouldn't have jinxed the ignorant thing huh?" he asks as I put my foot down on the pedal and we drive off home.

You could feel how angry your soul mates were as they could feel when ever the vampires hurt you. You were sat on a chair and told to see if the vampires could take out the Mikaelsons, your soul mates.
"Sir! They are he......" a vampire was cut off when his heart was torn out snapped you out of doing your magic seeing the Mikaelsons. You flinched feeling blood spatter on your cheek when a vampire in front of you dropped dead and Finn stood in front of you worried he scared you.
"Thank you for saving me." You say quietly with a soft smile on your face as Elijah walked over frowning. Elijah crouch down pulling out a handkerchief wiping your cheek as your soul hearts glowed softly.
"Our soul mate is a bit young."

Hi! Can I please ask an Elijah Mikaelson oneshot where his family meets her girlfriend which is a Lawyer? Thank you.
Oh yes
Warnings- Fluff, cute Mikaelson family stuff
Hope stared at her uncle making him look up from his book and look at the sixteen year old with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes Hope?"
"You are dating someone uncle 'Lijah." Hope said as Elijah blinked getting flustered making Hope smirk one she inherited from Klaus.
"No.....I am not."
"Yes." Hope said rubbing the red lipstick stain on Elijah's collar making him flush as Hope's eye twinkled with mischief that made Elijah nervous.
"Dad! Uncle Elijah has a girlfriend!" Hope called out this made Elijah wanted to hide as the siblings came in. Rebekah leaned over see the red lipstick stain and smirked.
"Who ever she is. She has a lovely taste in red."
"She must be something if Elijah is hiding her from us." Klaus says smirking seeing how flustered Elijah was just as Elijah's phone rang. The siblings and Hope stared at the phone as Elijah was quick to grab it to answer.
"Hello my love."
'Eli, I finished my case early and thought we could have dinner together.' Y/N said over the phone and Elijah smiled feeling his siblings stare at him.
"Sounds lovely but I was thinking that maybe you could meet my family."
'That sounds awesome. I'll see you later, love you.'
"I'll pick you up and I love you." Elijah said forgetting about his family for a moment as that how it was for him when with her. Y/N had an uncanny ability to get Elijah forget about his problems and feel unconditionally loved.
"She most be something if our brother says I love you."
"Must be Finn." Kol says smirking as Elijah sighed feeling like he was going to regret letting meet his special lady.
Elijah went to pick up Y/N at her apartment a place he had been number of times and unlocked the door just to see Y/N stepping out of her bedroom. Y/N looked gorgeous, dressed in his favorite black dress that hugged her curves perfectly long sleeves and low cut enough to see the ample of her breast. Her black curls down her back in their natural style.
"You look breath taking." Elijah breathed making Y/N flushed tucking a curl behind her ear. Y/N smiled walking up reaching up fixing his tie before pulling him down kissing him making him hum gripping her thighs pulling her close deeping the kiss.
"Missed me or something babe?" Y/N teased wiping the red lipstick off of Elijah's lips as he smiled hands moving long her sides.
"You and I haven't seen each other since you been working so hard."
"I apologize. Oh before I forget." Y/N said hurrying to her room coming back out holding a small box giving it to Elijah who raised an eyebrow.
"Now baby you didn't have to." Elijah said opening it seeing a pair of nice cufflinks as Y/N smiled putting them on his cuffs.
"Elijah, I told you. I'mma upgrade you if we start dating." Y/N said kissing his jaw before pulling him out to get to dinner.
"Why are you here Hayley?" Rebekah asked as she set the table seeing the hybrid who was dressed a little too showy as if she was going to try get Elijah's attention.
"Want to see who Elijah is trying to replace me with."
"Uncle Elijah is here!" Hope said rushing to the gate wanting to meet Elijah's girlfriend first. Elijah walked in with Y/N who was smiling at Hope talking quietly as Hope pulled her along.
"Everyone this is Y/N L/N my girlfriend." Elijah said inducing the woman as she shook their hands learning their names. When Y/N got to Hayley, the female hybrid just raised an eyebrow not really seeing what Elijah liked about her.
"So Y/N, what do you do?" Hayley asked as everyone enjoyed dinner asking the human questions about her. The others could see just how much Elijah adored Y/N and they were happy for him as Elijah deserved to be happy.
"I'm a lawyer."
"Oh? Must be low paying. You could have been better off as a secretary " Hayley said looking the woman over as Elijah smiled gently grabbing Y/N's hand kissing it.
"Actually Hayley, Y/N here is a high paying lawyer most of her clients are rich women."
"Or how else could I spoil Elijah." Y/N teased as Rebekah brighten up at the idea that Elijah was the one being spoiled for once and not him spoiling someone. Hayley spent the rest of dinner jealous that everyone seemed to like Y/N.
"Okay let's say I stabbed a man hitting on my fiancee and he is threatening to sue me. Could I win?" Kol asked as the family settled in the den while Elijah and Freya was clearing the table. Y/N smiled sipping on her glass of wine as Hope sat next to her as the tribrid had really took a liking to the mocha skinned lawyer.
"If you have witnesses to prove that he did then yeah. If you need a lawyer I'll be happy to help."
"I would like that."
"So how did you meet Elijah?" Hayley asked watching the woman soften thinking back to when they met.
"I wasn't paying attention around me as I was on a call when Elijah pulled me out of the way of a car. We just felt this connection, like sparks flew."
"I know a black beauty when I see one and would be a fool to let her go, my love." Elijah says softly kissing Y/N's temple as the girls awed founding it adorable while Hayley rolled her eyes.
"I am surprised that you won them over."
"Eli, I am a lawyer. It is my job to win people over." Y/N smirking as she climbed into bed with Elijah. Y/N giggled as Elijah pulled her on him smiling when she nuzzling her face in his neck.
"I am aware. You should make them your famous French toast in the morning."
"Do you think I should? Or are you just trying to get some?"
"You caught me baby." Elijah said kiss her head as they relaxed ready to fall asleep until Hope came flopping on Elijah making him grunt.
"Night uncle 'Lijah."
"Goodnight Hope." Elijah said chuckling not minding that the young tribrid had joined him and Y/N in bed. Elijah sighed listening to his two favorite girls fall asleep before sleeping his self glad that his family liked Y/N as he could see her as his wife.
