"I've always loved touch.
Even with all my threats, my blades, my teeth, I only sought kindness.
That's what everything was for.
The wars were for peace. The enemies were for friendship. The pain was for love.
No one saw. I had lost my way.
Somewhere along, my mask had been worn long enough for even my own mother to not recognize ne.
“What happened to you?” She had said.
I'd be lying if I said I'd known the answer.
When she was gone, I was truly alone. The hall of my power was empty. My own desires were empty.
My friends had left. My god betrayed me.
Even being alone, I stood strong.
Even when all I wanted was for touch. For love.
Was for someone to say that they cared. That my life wasn't for nothing.
I stood strong.
An axe buried into my chest. 1 life.
I stood strong.
Everyone smiling at my downfall.
I stood strong.
The axe cut through my ribs. 2 lives.

Prison came after.
The lava, the obsidian, unfamiliar.
I still had my power.

im so sorry that the other didn’t work! if it helps, I was on Microsoft on computer/laptop, so if you are able to try that, hope it works :( I’d found this link again from when I had to use it to try and find a deleted fic, and it worked for me at least. you do need to download a bit and use a bit of space (I understand that not everyone has a laptop/computer that can handle a lot), all the directions are in the post and they’re all explained pretty well. even with this, there’s probably a small chance that it might not have been archived
you don’t have to try this if you don’t want to, and I’m sorry if me sending this stresses you out more by making you think about it, but if you do try this, hope it works! im personally trying to get it back too considering it was my fav fic/ comfort fic, so if absolutely anything works, ill try to let you know. i hope you get as best of a sleep that you can, and everything is gonna be alright
my laptop is already filled to the brim and struggling to run most days so idk if this would be a viable option for me orz as much as I'd love to recover this fic (and some others lost to time) I don't wanna brick my only pc just yet orz

So turns out my Stardew Valley fic "How You Get The Girl" is way more popular than I expected. Thanks so much to everyone who has been tuning in!!
But hey. Did you know that this story is part of a whole series called "Sapphic Valley" about my friend group's playthrough?
The viewership forms a funny little U-shaped graph with Haley clearly being the most popular eligible date, so I figured let's give the rest of the stories some love! If you haven't caught up on the adventure thus far, now would be an excellent time.

A gaggle of burgeoning farmers from the big city move onto the abandoned farm west of Pelican Town. One of these new residents quickly latches onto a listless blonde who is desperate for a little more excitement from her small town life.

Pelican Town seems an idyllic settlement, but the discontentment of its next generation boils close to the surface. Sebastian is high among these angsty residents, but a little supernatural assistance may uncover ways to break them out of their shell.

Are you someone who enjoys reading QSMP fanfiction? Do you want some recs? Maybe you need help finding a specific fic? Well, you have come to the right place!
Below the cut will be mod information, rules, and some basic information to know! This may be updated over time, so check it every once in a while to see if your questions may have been answered!

19 years old, currently in school for biology and creative writing, in EST (so asks will probably be answered in the evenings and on weekends in EST). Speaks English and some German, and is working on Spanish!
Favorite color is purple!!! Part of Yaoiverse, participant in sooo many exchanges, has never chilled ever. Enjoys crocheting, reading, writing, and the occassional doodle!

2. This is largely a space that is safe for everything, but the one boundary is nothing NSFW about underage characters. General Information
What is a fic vault?
This is something present in many fandoms! It is essentially an archive of QSMP fics, while also being a place where one can ask for help finding a certain work! They also often have recs from the mods, which will be present here. If possible, I would also like to boost various exchanges, activities, etc.
Okay... so why are you doing this?
I have always had a fondness of fic vaults and archives in fandom, finding the people running them to be generally pretty kind. Then I suddenly realized that I could do the same, and I have yet to find a fic vault for QSMP, so I figured I could fill this certain niche!
Can you help me find this VOD/clip/art?
No, sorry. There are plenty of VOD and clip archives, and I have seen a variety of blogs that focus just on fanart. While there may sometimes be reblogs of these things, we will not be finding them for you.
What websites will you be finding fics on?
For recs, probably just AO3 (and sometimes Tumblr). If you need help finding one that you remember being on another site, though, we will absolutely still look for it!
Are you looking for more mods?
At the moment it is just me, so if more people find this, then I would absolutely begin looking for some more mods! At that point, I would create a form to apply, but you can send me a message before then if you are interested!

Update on WMTDB and AO3
Hello everyone :-)
Just a head's up for everyone who noticed that the WMTDB (nickandgreg.net) is currently unavailable. I received a notification of malware, which I suspect is because of the sudden increase in traffic to the site. As a precaution, our server provider has locked the site temporarily to give us a chance to look into the issue.
As you know, I'm working with the Open Doors Project of the Organization for Transformative Works (OTW) to move the WMTDB archive to Archive of Our Own (AO3). We have made a complete back-up of the site, so all content is safe, nothing is lost.
In the past few weeks, we've sent out mails to all creators in the WMTDB archive; if you haven't received a mail, contact me! (As the WMTDB goes back all the way to 2003, your email address may have changed over the years;) You can also find information in the sticky-post on LiveJournal or in this Tumblr post on how you can help the proces.
Since I first reached out to Open Doors in the Summer of 2021, it's been a long time sorting stuff out behind the scenes, but things have now really been set in motion for everyone to see! You can read up on the OTW news page, that has all the information as well as a link to our new home at AO3: OTW_News about WMTDB
It would be great if you could spread the word on Twitter and Tumblr.

hi pals i wanna promo my two latest ao3 series!!!
my current one is my spn kink bingo! I currently have 7 out of 9 done and my goal is to do all 9!! some destiel, some rarepairs, some sam-centric ships :)) also very smutty so mind the tags
also my last one was 20 drabbles in 20 days which I completed on the first of the year!! all less than 200 words, mostly spn centric ones but also sprinkled in some doctor who and ofmd ones too <33 none are explicit and most are prose/poetry-esque

thinking about that post of people assuming ao3 has an algorithm and also about how bonkers persistent the view is that ao3 is social media lite. like with startling regularity I get comments saying something along the lines of "it's probably weird to comment on a fic this old--" no it isn't!!!! this is an archive I am literally just assuming you searched for a selection of specific tags or sorted by kudos or looked back on my pseud or any other number of completely normal ways to use an archive site ?? kill the tiktok ghost in your brain and comment on old stuff it's NOT weird
