Thankyou, I'm glad you are enjoying GITM!! Yes, only two chapters of the podfic are done so far, the third is on its way- you can find them all here:

Podfic of @noorahqar‘s fanfiction In Which Time and Sky Bond Under Odd Circumstances
Original Author's Summary:
"Don't tell me your feet are bleeding, soldier."
"…I just really wanted to get in a bed," Sky says, voice small, and Time's need to scold him is suddenly at war with the need to give him a hug. He decides to save the former for later, sighing and pulling the kid into his arms.
"I can't with you boys," he mutters into Sky's hair, feeling the younger male start to tremble. "Come. We're sitting."
He pulls them over to the edge of the road, stepping down into the dirt and helping Sky do the same without irritating his injuries. The kid wavers at the sight of the wheat field for a moment, glancing back down the road they'd come from, and freezes in Time's arms.
"Time," he says. "We've been here before."
Time follows his gaze; down the ditch, parallel to the road, straight at the scorched earth where they'd first been attacked by the Wizzrobe. The place they'd been walking away from for the last few hours.

Gaging interest for this but I've been considering dipping my toes into the world of podficcing for a little bit now because one (1) person said they liked my voice/ should consider a career in radio and I took it a little seriously dskfjsdfk
If you think I should, are there any fics that people would be particularly interesting in hearing me read? I don't mind genre/rating. Just do bear in mind that I am from New Zealand and therefore sound not too dissimilar to people such as Taika Waititi, Karl Urban and Jemaine Clement 🤣

A humble plea to writers on AO3
Please, don't use the tag Read by the Author to say that you proofread your work!
Read by the Author is a subtag of Podfic. It's meant to be used for tagging audio works read by the author of the text.
If you wrote something, and then recorded yourself reading it out loud and posted that to AO3, you can tag it Read by the Author. That's what that tag is for. Please don't use it on written works to say "oh yeah, I read it before I posted it". It will make your work show up in the Podfic tag and confuse/annoy people looking specifically for audio works.
Thank you!

[Image description: The title, "Fanworks Permission Statement Builder," and black line-drawing-style pictures of a hand holding a pencil and of a microphone with a pop filter, over a background of crumpled paper. End ID.] (credit to @rystonlentil for the image ID)
Hey fanworks creators!
Excited about the idea of someone creating something based on your fan creation (like podfics, fanart, translations, etc)? On the other hand, do you not want people creating stuff based off your fanworks and don't want to have to turn them down? Or do you have a more nuanced idea of what you are and aren't comfortable with people doing based on your fan creations? Don't particularly care one way or the other about what people create based on your stuff?
SPEND JUST A FEW MINUTES TO QUICKLY GENERATE A FANWORKS PERMISSION STATEMENT LETTING PEOPLE KNOW YOUR PREFERENCES!!!
What is a fanworks permission statement?
A fanworks permission statement (also known as a blanket permission statement or transformative works permission statement) is very simple: it's something you post in a publically-visible place (usually your AO3 profile) that tells other fan creators what you are and aren't okay with in terms of other people making fanworks based off your stuff. It can be as simple as a sentence or two, or as complicated as you want to communicate your preferences clearly.
Who should have a permission statement?
A permission statement is for anyone that creates fanworks! Yes, even if you don't think anyone would ever want to create something based off your fanworks. You never know! It's not egotistical to post a permission statement, it's HELPFUL. Yes, even if you don't want people making something based off your works. It means no one has to reach out to ask you, they can know your preferences right away.
Is it only for fanfic writers?
Absolutely not! It's great for fan creators of ALL kinds to have a fanworks permission statement! Fanartists, someone might want to use your fanart as inspiration for a fanfic or create fanart inspired by your work in a different medium! Podficcers, other people creating in an audible medium might want to insert clips of your podfics into their work, or copy the way you did certain effects! Fanbinders, you might inspire an artist with the way you do your binding! This is really for everyone, because fandom is infinitely creative and who knows how another fan creator might be inspired by your work!
What do I even say in a permission statement?
That's exactly why we built the Fanworks Permission Statement Builder! So you don't have to think about what to say or how to say it. Just spend a few minutes answering questions about your preferences that cover many of the common things people might want to specify, and you'll have a permission statement ready to copy-and-paste into your AO3 profile, or to edit to your heart's content!
Why use the Fanworks Permission Statement Builder?
Don't want to come up with a permission statement on your own? Not sure what should even go into a permission statement? Want someone to at least give you a starting place that you can edit to better reflect your preferences? Want someone to just hand you a ready-to-use permission statement that you can paste into your profile? Spend just a few minutes answering some questions about your preferences, and you'll have a permission statement ready to use or edit!

MXTX Diaspora May is back for 2024!
MXTX Diaspora May is an event in which Chinese diaspora creators come together to share the diverse aspects of Chinese culture, as well as connect with each other over lived experiences.
Through the promotion and creation of these fanworks, we hope to encourage thoughtful self-reflection throughout the broader fandom, especially with regard to embracing cultural humility and dismantling structures and behaviors that allow racism to flourish, both in fandom and in real life.
Support of MXTX Diaspora May will go a long way towards creating a more inclusive and open climate in our shared online spaces, especially for creators who rarely get their voices heard in the English-speaking side of fandom. We aim to uplift the unique voices and stories of our participants, and we encourage anyone who enjoys works from this event to share in the celebration of Chinese culture from Chinese creators.
Tumblr media
Any creator with Chinese heritage may participate in MXTX Diaspora May. Event rules and work requirements may be found at the link below.
Please note one major change from last year: all works must be complete at the time of posting. We will not accept works-in-progress into our collection.
Event Rules & FAQ

Our prompts this year are based on 四象, the Four Symbols, also known as the Four Guardians, Four Gods, or Four Auspicious Beasts. You can find an overview of the Four Symbols on wiki.

It's Domaystic 2024!
Tumblr media
Hello, hello! This is the third year of DOMAYSTIC, a domestic trope based prompt event running in May :D
This is the main post for the event and in the picture above there are the prompts.
They're 31 prompts (no alts this time), but they are also divided in three main categories, which I loosely labelled as "people from everyday life" from 1 to 10; "things from everyday life" from A to J; and "general-container-stuff that can be bent to one's own desires" from roman number I to X. Plus, at the very end, a free choice option (we never had one and the days are not even ahahah).
List of prompts
Category: people from everyday life 01. driver 02. shop assistant 03. plumber 04. public servant 05. teacher 06. receptionist 07. mechanic 08. health professional 09. baker 10. landlord
Category: things from everyday life A. konmari B. me/us time C. shopping points D. odd appliances E. building renovations F. frozen G. memento H. wild animal I. ritual J. dreadful weather
Category: general-container-stuff I. proverb II. tutorial III. poll IV. numbers V. emergency VI. quiz VII. cliché VIII. art IX. official document X. song
* free choice
Guidelines, tags example, AO3 link under the cut!
General rules and guidelines
Domaystic is open to any fandom or original content.
Any kind of media is welcome. You choose your way of expression.
There are no limits/restrictions on how your fill should be.
There’s a total of 31 prompts for 31 days.
To join the event one can do a prompt a day following the list as it is; or following the sequence they prefer; or only the ones of their liking, even just one.
Or, and this is my challenge proposition for anyone who wants to take it: try to combine one prompt from each one of the three categories + the free choice. Which in total would produce 10 fills + 1 if all are done.
Share your work anywhere you want or keep it to yourself, that's fine. If you share it on tumblr and tag this blog, I’ll reblog it.
If you also want to combine these prompts with another fandom event, that's okay.
Domaystic runs actively throughout May; if you join or tag the blog on a later date, that's fine too, I just reblog on a lower pace after May is over.
In case of lengthy posts on tumblr, use the "read more" option: ctrl-shift-k on rich text; [[*MORE*]] on html (remove asterisks)
AO3 collection
The domaystic2024 collection is open from May, 1st: click here - info and prompts are also on the profile page.
Tagging your tumblr post:
Mention the blog in your post @domaystic - tracked tag: #domaystic2024
State the fandom name or if it is original content
State if it is sfw or nsfw
Please, always TAG PROPERLY for any trigger warning. I will base my own reblog on your tags so, please, take even a moment longer to carefully tag it. I hope all participants to stay safe in this event.
Here’s an example:
It took me 2 nights to write this @domaystic, look at my stuff! #domaystic2024 #[fandom name or original content] #[sfw or nsfw] #[trigger warnings that I get from your post] tw
And this is it! For any question, doubt, etc. the askbox is always open :)
Hi @thebigbangblogproject, can you reblog this? Thanks :D

Calling Good Omens Fan Artists
Our silly little (I say "little" but we have 11 voice actors already and 30+ people in the discord) podfic needs YOU. We would like art to go in the background of the podfic on youtube as well as to look pretty on the AO3 post. Ideally, we'd have one illustration per scene, but one per chapter is what we're aiming for (in the interest of realistic expectations). There will be one "main" illustration per chapter. Read through whichever chapter you want to illustrate and pick a scene to draw. We want you to have full artistic control. So long as it's relevant to the fic, go ahead! Here are some stand out visuals from the fic to entice you:
Tumblr media
(Aziraphale in one of Crowley's band T-Shirts | from Chapter 2)
Tumblr media
(Crowley gets to have a total conniption as Aziraphale is casually affectionate in the Bentley | from Chapter 5)

(The boys dancing IN BALLGOWNS | from chapter 6)
Tumblr media
(Crowley getting caught lathering himself in baby oil | from chapter 8) He's trying to get into this costume:

IF YOU WANT TO HELP OUT, THIS IS THE DISCORD:
And, because they gave me explicit permission:

I AM INVOKING THE NAME @mrghostrat Come on!! There isn't a better stamp of approval in the GO fandom!

Podfics and reuploading
*sigh* Okay. I can't believe I'm writing this, but okay.
Listen. It's very flattering if you want to make a podfic of a story you love. But you MUST ask permission first. No excuses. No nothing. If you're brave enough to post it, you're brave enough to put your big girl pants on and ask permission first.
You'll probably find that most writers would be delighted to give you the go ahead, and may even want to work with you on it.
But NEVER, and i mean NEVER upload without permission. Today I had someone scrape a fic and feed it through an AI reader on youtube and had someone not messaged me to say they had seen it, i would never have known.
There is no excuse. I'm a pretty open creator, i'm happy to work with people if they want to try something and I will always encourage others' creativity, but this had no permission, and was literally fed into an AI, which actively steals from creators.
Just. Ask permission. Don't steal. It's the bare minimum.
