In 1982, quite by accident, a zookeeper at Izu Shaboten Zoo in Shizuoka Prefecture discovered that capybaras absolutely loved soaking in hot water, and the practice of providing them an onsen, or traditional Japanese hot spring, was born. Source Massimo; video @yu_haradakei.

Had a 'fun' new experience today in the form of my first ever mammogram because I found a lump on my chest a few weeks ago, and when you find a lump, you get that shit checked out.
Ironically, the lump I went to get investigated turned out to be nothing, likely just a cyst that made its way to the surface, but they did find something else on the scan that requires me to do a follow-up ultrasound in six months. The doctor stressed that it is most likely a fibroid, but given my family history of breast cancer and general weird health fuckery, they're being vigilant and keeping an eye on it.
The mammogram itself was fine. The technician doing it kept complimenting me on the "pliable" nature of my breast tissue and how easy it was to smoosh me into the machine. I was like thanks, I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome; my body is basically made of only slightly more reinforced laffy taffy.
She said, "That explains that," and then proceeded to smush my tits into a pancake. Apparently, they were the most compliant tits she's worked with. I said thank you because what else can you do in that situation. And then she asked me if I wanted to know how much they weighed, and I said boy, do I?!
So she started reading off the results and was like, "17.7 lbs," and I was like, gosh, no wonder they feel so heavy, and then she kept talking and said, "And the other one weighs..."
And that's when I realized she didn't mean total.
She meant one boob was 17.7lbs.
So in case you've ever wanted to know, my right boob weighs 17.7 lbs, and my left one weighs 17.3 lbs, bringing the grand weight hanging off my chest to an even 35 lbs.
The tech was like "gosh! That's a lot for someone of your size!" and I was like "ya fucking think?!"
For a frame of reference, I weigh 136 lbs total. One-quarter of my weight is tits.
I am one-quarter titty.
And I'm telling that to the next doctor who suggests I lose weight.
Anyway. Remember to do regular breast exams, and don't be afraid of mammograms. Yes, they're checking for cancer, but they also tell you fun things like how much your chest weighs and whether or not your boobs are compliant.

So I read your latest chapter of The Clocktown Mystery (very good, by the way, I enjoy seeing your headcannons about how FD interacts with the Chain) and I fully thought the tenth member was going to be First (as in the Hero who came before Sky).
I'm not disappointed with Spirit - I'm interested to see how the Chain meets up with him again in the next installment - but are there any thoughts you had as to what the scene might've been if the tenth member had been First instead?
If not, that's cool either way. Wishing you the best in your upcoming week, Tashacee!
Hello friend! This is a great question, actually, because there’s a very good reason the tenth hero wasn’t First.
While the Clocktown Mystery can be read on its own, it’s the third in my Links in a Chain series and the second fic in this series, Untarnished, is set very heavily around First and his story. Everything that happened there is canon to this story, Wind is wearing the earrings he was given in Untarnished and they all know about First and his history.
I felt that to bring him back here would have taken away from the ending I gave him there, which I really was happy with - though I won’t say what that ending was in case anyone hasn’t read it!
THAT SAID.
It IS pretty funny to imagine what might have happened if First did rock up in termina three days late with uggs and a Starbucks.
Wind would have had an aneurysm, for starters. Once again, I shan’t say why, so if you haven’t read Untarnished you can make of that what you will. First also would be PRETTY DAMN displeased, though I daresay he’d be pretty excited to give the chain a big hug
I hope this answers your question and I’m glad you’re enjoying!

Every single fic update there is an author trying frantically to find the right balance between a nonchalant aside of "leave a comment if you enjoyed =)" and clinging desperately to the coat tails of a random stranger, dragging along behind them on the street wailing "Please, please! I have to know what you thought! I'm desperate to talk to people about this! Ask me about the alliterative repetition! Ask me about the symbolism!"

The Clocktown Mystery
Chapter Five: The Tenth Man
The Chain stared. The Fierce Deity towered over them, silver hair floating around his head as if underwater and gleaming like a halo, his blank white eyes boring into them, seeing something more than just their faces. He waited, his words hanging heavily in the air around them.
“Um.” Warriors said at last, breaking the silence. “What- what do you mean, Fierce? By a ‘tenth’? A tenth what? Do you… want us to tithe?”
The Deity stared at them a moment longer, blinking slowly. He tilted his head.
“PERHAPS IT IS NOT THE TIME.” He said, which was an extremely easy to understand statement and not cryptic at all. Before any of them could protest or demand to know what the hell that was supposed to mean, though, he turned and began to survey the field around him, his expression unreadable.
“WE ARE IN TERMINA.” He said at last, and despite the softness of his tone, his voice, as ever, boomed across the field at the volume of a battle cry.
Warriors glanced uneasily back at his brothers and then stepped forwards. Time had mentioned that the Deity came from Termina, that this was where he had gotten the mask that the god was trapped inside, but Wars wasn’t sure what exactly that actually meant for the Chain. Was the Deity worshipped here? Was he more powerful? Would he try to escape?
…would he free Time if he did?
