Jeffbritta — I really like them they compel me quite a bit! I thought about putting them higher but because part of their whole thing is that they’re the normie toxic hets who are so basic in concept that they work all the way around to be subversive and fun I thought this ranking made sense for them. Also it’s true that the first time I was watching Comm it took me awhile to warm to them but eventually did and then on my second watch through I got real attached. Hand in unloveable hand core. Trobed — they’re great they compel me Geothermal Escapism makes me cry so much. I don’t think I have anything really insightful to add they’re the moment. Abedison — in a lot of ways this is my favorite community dynamic… they are my two favorite characters so that’s part of it. I love them romantically or platonically or queer-platonically, they’re two bisexuals in love they’re lesbian bi solidarity they’re a yuri couple nonbinary Abed rights they’re in a qpr with Troy they’re in a polyamorous relationship with Troy they’re in a fake relationship to cover up identity fraud one if them (could be either) committee and/or a murder one of them (Annie) committed, they’re neurotic freaks who understand each other best and they’re worsties. I did write multiple romantic Annie/Abed fics during quarantine with an account that’s now orphaned. My feelings on them as a ship are less cut and dry than on Trobed and Jeffbritta though hence placements.

Jabed — I also go back and forth on platonic/romantic with them but either way am compelled, a fascinating dynamic and foil ship, the most important relationship of the show in some ways. Critical Film Studies is usually the episode that puts me in a shippy mood where they’re concerned because there are Vibes present in that one.

Brittannie — the thing with them is I find them compelling but mostly from an Annie perspective because I very much read her as having feelings for Britta at points in the show and am interested in what it means for her, I’m less interested in seeing them together romantically in most scenarios except for the Brittannie Carmilla au I wrote one time, that was compelling to Me. Also I do flip flop on how I feel about them if you’d asked me when I first got into community I would have been more enthusiastic and maybe I’ll change my mind again next rewatch.

Frankie x Britta — I remember being into them but I don’t remember the justification much but.. it’s a good dynamic cute first date idea surprise a girl in her car and bond over nihilism in a round about way. There is a balancing effect there.

8. Bed sharing or roommates AU?

Ohhhhhh it's got to be bed sharing, maybe it's the fact that it's canon that they shared a bed during quarantine, but Buck and Eddie sharing a bed makes me feral, especially if it starts out platonic. In general, I love the one-bed trope. I really want to write a bed sharing fic, like there's only one bed on a road trip to El Paso or combining that with fake dating and they have to share a bed, maybe they're on holiday with Eddie's family and they're faking a relationship to get them off Eddie's back and there's only one bed...

9. Fake dating or arranged marriage?

For Buddie I love fake dating, I love those two idiots not really having to do much more to convince people that they're dating and then they realise that they're in love and they've practically been dating this whole time! or even better when one of them is pinning and in love and they agree to fake date the other to help and it's just full of Angst. In general, I probably lean towards the fake dating trope, though I'm not against the arranged marriage trope when it comes to fantasy. There might be a little bit on arranged marriage in my Mafia AU.

This one was hard, I love both of these but I think I lean more towards friends with benefits because I just love the angst. Secret dating is hot though and I might write a fic about them dating and fucking behind the team's back. But also secret dating in AU's ugh I love that.

hi! welcome to the always online au!

for anyone who was into the hype of parkner back in late 2019/the early quarantine days, this might be a little bit familiar to you. basically, this is a social media au for marvel that i created when getting into parkner and thompsborn and when one of the main wlw ships was mj/shuri. it consisted of screenshots of (obviously fake) social media accounts (mainly twitter) of some of the marvel characters and it was mostly shitposting with a tiny hint of a plot. however, because of the mental health kick that came with quarantine, i ended up deleting the account while in a depression drop.

it’s been over 3 years and i honestly miss making this au, as it was just fun and gave me something to do, and a few days ago i realized that i still have the apps i used when i originally made this au and all of the fake tweets and messages were still on them, so… well.

basically, i decided to bring it back!

so, if you don’t remember or never saw this au when it was originally happening, you might have some questions! under the cut is a very basic q&a:

what is the always online au about?

nothing! also everything! like i said, it was entirely a shitpost account that very vaguely had a plot, but it was 100% just something i did in my free time for fun!

it’s essentially me throwing my sense of humor in a box with ships and characters that i like and then violently shaking it until something that i find funny comes out and then i would post it !!

ships and characters? which ones?

like i mentioned above, i made this during like the late 2019-2020 era of parkner hype, so, obviously, it was mainly parkner (peter parker/harley keener) BUT it also features many other marvel ships! i am going to be changing the ships up a bit to better match my current preferences. i’ll include a list of ships below this paragraph, but first, this is also going to include PLENTY of platonic/familial dynamics as well! so if you love stucky, sorry they aren’t dating in this but they are obviously besties, and there’s irondad, stuff like that, okay? i’ll try to include it all!

how often should i expect updates?

that one is kind of tricky, because i am an adult with a full time job who is also balancing hobbies and family and everything all at the same time. this is something that i’ll try to work on during my free time, and when i did this before it wasn’t hard to make updates once i figured out what i wanted to do for them, but still, my free time kind of depends on the day and the week.

i’m not going to commit to a strict schedule, but i don’t work weekends so my goal is to update every weekend! if i miss a weekend, i’ll try to get it posted during the week, and if i have a week with extra free time, i’ll do some additional posts as well.

i’ll do my best to be regular with it!!

anything else i should know?

yes! this is an ongoing creative project that i’m doing for fun, and i want it to be fun for anyone and everyone who may come across it! that means i want it to be interactive!! this is something i did before, as well.

for instance, when i was running this au in 2019/2020, someone sent an ask wanting to see harley finding out about the vulture after him and peter start dating, so i answered the ask with this:

obviously this au isn’t picking up from where the old one left off, so those tweets are not considered canon to the current always online au, BUT that’s just an example! i want people to feel free to send in asks and questions for the characters or for situations, and i will do my best to make it fit into the canon of the au!!

As promised, this year I'll host it again: September is around the corner, and with it smutember, or at least the Sailor Moon fandom corner side of it, that is, if you're on-board here lol. It's open for all types of fanwork, and all ships within the fandom.

Just like the previous years, it runs alongside to the official daily word prompts on the official smutember blog: Smutember is an event that runs all throughout September for all fandoms. The following is meant as an addition, not a replacement. If you want to do daily prompts, please use the official word prompts (linked above). And while these prompts are amazing, for older fandoms such as ours, daily prompts can sometimes be a little intimidating. Because of this, and in now Sailor Moon fandom smutember tradition, I again customized an alternative weekly trope list that can still incorporate the official themes.

As always now, down below you have a list of TROPE AND THEME PROMPTS. This year, since it's our anniversary year in the Sailor Moon fandom, I've added a few of the classic tropes, as well as a remix of some you've seen in the previous years. Because they're meant to spark a variety of ideas, there's a lot of them! You can pick as many of the tropes you want and with them, post once (or if you're motivated, more times) per week, instead of daily.

Be it for fanart or fanfic or any other sort of fanwork, tropes can be combined, (and they can be combined with the daily themes too), whatever floats your boat. Also, specifically: This event isn’t Usamamo-centric only. I will reblog any Sailor Moon content of any pairing as long as it follows the rules! (See below)

The aim of this event is to create sex-positive content together that celebrates a healthy depiction of consentual sexuality. Erotic fanfiction is a beautiful art, especially in a fandom of ours so largely cultivated by women and for women, as well as a strong inclusive focus on queer and gender-queer content and their creators!

And like in 2020 previously, all entries that follow the rules will be compiled in an online-only e-zine! This also means that art that may be too explicit for tumblr can still be included in the e-zine!

In Addition to these trope themes, now and until September, I'll be posting a few sex-positive cues of the next weeks as a sort of checklist that is meant to help you generate ideas for your sexy trope fics!

RULES

1. Rating: These fics don’t necessarily need to be M or, in the case of Ao3, E- rated. Obviously, they are very, very welcome to be explicit for this event, but you can also go T-rated and stay in lime or ‘blacked out’-territory if you’re uncomfortable with writing explicit scenes! Both is perfectly and absolutely welcome! This of course also goes for fanart - your fanart may depict sexy scenes, but does NOT have to be explicit! (It can, though! Be aware that for tumblr’s guidelines, when sharing your art first, you may have to clip your images as a sort of preview. The original can then be sent to me privately to include into the e-zine!) 2. Minimum Age of Characters: Since this is a community event, if you do go explicit M rated material: age them up where necessary! So that everyone can be comfortable writing and reading these, let them be 18 at the minimum if they’re going to openly and explicitly wohoo. (16-17 is the global average age of consent worldwide, and also the average age for first sex among girls in many western countries. However, since most fanfic readers are located in the US, where the age of consent is 18, we’re going with 18 so that everyone can be comfortable reading!) If you go for canon fics at a time they are below this age, where you do not want to age up (say you’re going for an episode fix!) please stay in T territory for this event. 3. Off limits: Depictions of sexual acts that contain harmful, violent and non-consenting behaviour with non-consenting individuals (or those that aren’t able to consent, for instance because of their age, or state of mind among else!). If it doesn’t fly by law or the ICD in real life, please refrain from depicting it in the context of this event. This means that dubcon and noncon will not be reblogged for the event, so that people can be safely consuming the content without being triggered. All content will be screened in this regard, and I may contact you regarding trigger warnings. This is not at all to censor content, or that this content is in any form less valid (as long as it is properly tagged and not including characters that aren’t of age), but simply to ensure a safe environment for everyone reading. 4. Tag your triggers. Except the aforementioned limitation of harmful content, nothing is off limits. Explore your kinks! But if you write something that might be offensive to your readers, please tag it. This is ALSO a good way for your readers to find exactly what they ARE looking for! On Ao3 this can be done directly on the fic tags, for FF fics and fic links you can do it here on Tumblr via the fic post tags or in ANs. This is in consideration of your readers. 5. You can obviously post art for this event too. All previous rules apply here, as well. Unfortunately, Tumblr is now against tasteful nudity. That doesn’t mean you can’t link to a deviant art or similar account though, should you want to. And, since this year will include an e-zine at the end of it, all art will still be included fully in it. Here too, please tag your triggers. If you still want to post art on Tumblr, choose a T rated image - clip them where needed, or keep them (semi-)clothed, show us a heated kiss, etc! (Obviously we would love ALL the art and the nude body is a beautiful, wonderful thing, but obviously Tumblr doesn’t agree with us anymore!) 6. Have fun! Celebrate sexuality in an open, sex-positive way with us, try to be unapologetic about your likes while you write this, and appreciate the beauty that comes in the form of content with a largely female-gazing creator-base and audience! Smut in fanfiction has been beautifully put as the subjectification of sexuality (as opposed to objectification). So let’s celebrate this art form together! 7. Reviews: No one is forced to review. It can be uncomfortable to review a fic that contains sexual acts for any number of always valid reasons. Keep in mind, however, that much like a Burlesque dancer on stage, putting out sexual content can also be very intimidating to an author, and nothing is more discouraging than silence when baring yourself to an audience like this. That being said: Both Ao3 and FF have the option to review in anon mode. That means you have the option to remain anonymous while cheering the author on all the same. Just like the Burlesque dancer, your resident smut authors prefer to go on stage to loud cheering - it makes it all less awkward for them, and feels a little more like a big celebration!

This event is not supposed to cause harm. This means that I will screen all content before I reblog it here, and include it in the e-zine. So that everyone of age can feel safe reading the fanworks in the event, dubcon and noncon will not be reblogged and included in the e-zine, and accurate tagging and content warning will be watched. This does NOT MEAN that you cannot post this material: your own desire to write it and someone else’s desire to explicitly read this material are valid. I do not entitle myself to censor. It just means it will not be reblogged and shared through the event so that everyone may feel safe to read to the best of my ability. (But, of course, remember that I, too, might be biased, and not discover subtle forms of it, either. We’re all, in the end, a product of our upbringing and society, and I cannot be completely unbiased.)

List my wips and projects I’d like to tackle??? Hoh boy.

I should thank @grogusmum (my vote for Javi G is meeting an online movie buff friend IRL), @writeforfandoms (you know I am anxiously awaiting Alpha!Pero), @scorpio-marionette (a Max P fix-it fic???? whaaat), @something-tofightfor (you have interested me with “The Top Five....”), and @stealyourblorbos (naked tiddy ys plz). CURRENT PIECES WITH PLANS

1. Share It With Me - The final installment of the Thief x Locksmith series. My main focus right now when I have time.

2. Kiss and Tell Sessions - I’m hoping Pats and Preciosa are gonna find out how hot and fulfilling a major heaping of trust can be.

3. I’ll Never Fall In Love Again - Chapter 5 will cover the wedding and living with Dieter in the past, and the first day on set in the present.

4. Losing My Religion - Chapter 13 is still on Tatooine. I’m not sure that a ton of plot will happen, but if I tell you we might see a glimmer of jealous Din, would you forgive me?

5. Sweets Series - so right now there’s three installments in the thoughts: a birfday surprise, a proposal, and a visit to the TUWOMT set.

6. Branded - this one might kinda be on hiatus. I’m not abandoning it, as you can see, I still consider it part of my WIPs. But it will take some brainspace that I am wasting on some other fic at the moment, apologies.

I was having a lot of self-image problems at the time and thought how wonderful it would be to be found attractive by Oberyn and the methods he’d take to make you understand just how beautiful you are.

trope mashup of performance AU and the big kiss - I wrote out a mini version of this already in my tropes mashups, but I might consider turning it into a full-fledged one-shot.

kinktober challenge - But not really. I only mean that I have an idea in mind to have fun with writing some fluffysmut and playing with tropes and I may get inspired around Kinktober times. We’ll see how far I get!

secret dating: i love a good fake dating fic. i am literally writing a fake dating fic right now. B U T. stolen kisses and knowing eye contact and holding hands under the table??? everyone else having their suspicions and picking up on the clues shamelessly left around?? both extremely funny AND endearing!!

enemies to lovers: i like this one bc like!! the vulnerability of opening up to someone you thought hated your guts . . . thinking that they might not be so bad . . . insults turning into banter that you actually enjoy . . . i LOVE that shit!!

oh no there's only one bed: i'm a sucker for the tension!! the bated breath!! the "oh shit they're way too close"!! the waking up in the morning after only to find out they're cuddling!!

hurt-comfort: nothing slaps like getting a bandaid ripped off and then tending to it with love and care

modern au: i love a good fantasy but there's something about writing improbable hilarious shenanigans in the modern world that makes real life seem just a little bit better. you're limited in what you can do with a modern au, sure, but that's why coming up with the WILDEST events is so much fun!! because you're constantly thinking about what CAN happen to the extreme!!

mutual pining: domesticity is something i value but mutual pining makes me ache in a way. i always get so many feelings with mutual pining involved

fluff: i pretty much always skim the smut parts if a fic has it LMAO

canon compliant/fix-it: this really depends on your series i guess?? i appreciate a good fix-it if there's way too much going down (coughmewritingjjkfix-itficcough), but other than that i LOVE canon compliant bc for romcoms it's funny, and for angst it hits HARD

reincarnation: call me childish or naive or whatever but like. man there's already enough shit in the real world i'm not going to fics to get a taste of ultimate despair as well!!

oneshot/multichapter: i adore both!! i've read some BRILLIANT oneshots that are long and poetic and gorgeous ("it's like you told me, go forward slowly" by elenoir, anyone?) and multichapters are always a fantastic adventure to go through

kid fic/road trip fic: uhh okay i'm assuming that 'kid fic' means fics that involve taking care of kids?? which i adore bc oh my god,,, the building and slow bonding of a family unit,,, gets me EVERY time. so why not take your kid on a road trip yknow. bonding experience!!

accidental marriage: as you can tell by now i am very much a fluffy romcom person, which seems to be the case for accidental marriages!! i haven't read much of either fic tho LMAO

middle aged romance: there is something very soft and sweet about love at that age i just sjdfhniof;a

time travel/isolated together: both are great!! i've seen a lot of "stuck together bc quarantine" works going around, and time travel has a lot of comedic and angst potential to it

roommates: THE TENSION AS ROOMMATES MAKES ME FERAL

magic au: i've got a very intense sci-fi au myself but. i LOVE a good magic au!! not that my urban magic wip thinks so LMFAAO

body swap: body swap is SO much funnier than gender bend would ever be

angst/crack: i adore both but i have to emotionally and mentally prepare myself for angst dear lord

apocalyptic/mundane: i put both bc. bc. "right in the head" by Mysecretfanmoments lives in my soul oh my god. and the mundane life is one i adore and strive for!!
