Erenth: a term describing one who does not participate in the concept of gender, instead embracing the self-hood that proceeds the construct unencumbered.
[PT: Erenth: a term describing one who does not participate in the concept of gender, instead embracing the self-hood that proceeds the construct unencumbered. ./. END PT]
Etymology
[PT: Etymology ./. END PT]
"Ere", from Early Modern English, meaning "Before" + "-nth" from English, meaning "an unspecified/indefinitely large ordinal number".
Here, "before" refers to the intrinsic self that exists free of gender, a state that has not yet been evaluated or considered within the construct. "Ere" was chosen to represent existing outside the gender paradigm, much like "Ere" belongs to an earlier stage English. "Nth" is used as a suffix, but it refers to the infinitely large, variable, complex, convoluted, nebulous nature of gender identity.
Erenth was coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in April 2024.
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. END PT]
Erenth is not a gender identity, but rather a label used to describe individuals whose selfhood does not involve the construct of gender, identifying with a personal, individual albeit degendered selfhood instead. As such, an Erenth:
Does not have a gender identity in any way, shape or form.
Doesn't align themselves with any gender (unaligned).
Does not have a gender identity to conform to, bend or subvert.
May embody gendered roles without consideration to the concept of gender or may reject them all together.
Does not have a gender to express, thus lacking a gender expression.
Presents themselves without consideration to the concept of gender, instead seeking to make their presentation harmonious and congruent with their sense of self.
Uses (self-)referential language without consideration to the concept of gender, using whatever language they see fit.
In lacking a gender identity, likely do not self-describe using GLG orientations.
May have an internalized self-concept of sex that is degendered or may reject sex altogether.
May reject, eschew, subvert, ignore, transcend, be liberated from, be apathetic towards, be oblivious to or hold any stance, perspective or experience regarding the concept of gender that results in non-participation in the construct.
May or may not identify as Queer.
Is simply themselves, embodying the answer to the question, "Who Am I?" while also discarding the construct of gender entirely from the question.

Some similar labels include:
Egogender
[PT: Egogender ./. END PT]
Both Egogender and Erenth individuals identify with an unique and individualistic sense of self, but differ in that the Erenth label is not a gender and does not participate in the construct.
Exogender
[PT: Exogender ./. END PT]
Both Exogender and Erenth individuals do not participate in the construct of gender, thus lacking a gender identity, but differ in that the Erenth label specifies an unique, individual sense of self one embraces entirely independent of the construct of gender identity. Exogender, while not truly being a gender identity by it's definition, attempts to fill the lexical gap by relating to the construct, where the Erenth label does not participate in it explicitly and outright.
Apogender
[PT: Apogender. ./. END PT]
Both Apogender and the Erenth label involve being divorced from the concept of gender, but differ in that Apogender is an Agender microlabel, whereas Erenth is not a gender identity and involves embracing the self.
Pomogender
[PT: Pomogender ./. END PT]
Both Pomogender and the Erenth label involve denying preexisting gender labels, but differ in that Erenth is not a gender identity, denies the entirety of the construct of gender and embraces a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender.
Cassgender
[PT: Cassgender ./. END PT]
Both Cassgender and the Erenth label may involve feeling indifferent towards the concept of gender, but differ in that Cassgender is a gender identity whereas the Erenth is not a gender identity, does not participate in the construct and specifically involves embracing a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender.
Yonderi
[PT: Yonderi ./. END PT]
Both Yonderi and Erenth are labels describing transcending gender, but differ in that the Erenth label also does not participate in or internalize the construct while also specifically embracing a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender. Erenth can be considered to have a yonderine quality, but doesn't have to.
Genderfree
[PT: Genderfree ./. END PT]
Both Genderfree and the Erenth label both refer to an undefined state where gender is not present, but unlike Genderfree, Erenth rejects the construct of gender in it's entirety, is not an ambiguous identity nor is it definitively queer in itself. Furthermore, an Erenth individual's identity is related to their sense of self, which is not specified by the label genderfree.
Pride Flag
[PT: Pride Flag ./. END PT]
The flag was created by myself (Gent, GJ) at the same time as the term. The flag has nine horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the stripes are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream, desaturated light green, cream, dark red, peach and dark grey. The stripes have the following meanings:
The bottom and top dark grey stripes represent the lack of internalization of gender.
The two peach stripes represents complete non-participation in the construct of gender.
The two dark red stripes represents knowledge and conviction.
The two cream stripes represent one's values and ideals.
The middle desaturated light green stripe represents one's inner sense of self.

I also created a simplified, five-stripe version using the same colors and meaning as the nine-stripe flag. The simplified flag has five horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, they are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream and desaturated light green.
Glyph
[PT: Glyph ./. END PT]
As Erenth is not a gender, it does not have a planetary glyph associated with it. Instead, the Erenth identity is represented by the typographical obelus, styled as a double dagger mark, U+2021 (‡). The obelus represents, "an iron roasting spit, a dart, or the sharp end of a javelin, symbolizing the skewering or cutting out of dubious matter. (Wikipedia)", which is similar to the manner in which an Erenth individual embraces their selfhood (separated from gender), but not the construct of gender (the dubious matter). The double dagger mark was specified to represent a coupled rejection of gender and acceptance of the self.

if you had xe/xim pronouns and someone was calling you xe/xir by mistake would you be upset about it or would you incorporate it into your worldview? I often forget there is a difference between xe/xim and xe/xir pronouns and catch myself slipping up

Exomav Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Exomav: exomaverique and/or exomaverine; exobinary maverique identity; abinary-spectral maveriquity/maveriqueness; exospec maverinity/abiaspec maveriquinity; maverine exobinarity and/or maverique exobinariness.
Exobinary is a term for non-binary people relating to having experiences of genders that are completely outside of or independent of the gender binary or anything related to it. It's similar to abinary.

Exogender
[pt: Exogender]
It was coined multiple times, just as metagender. Let me tell the definitions I know:
2017: Exogender: A gender which fades into another gender within a long period of time (months/years). A specific term for genderfluid.
2018: As I explained to my friends, like the term “exoskeleton,” which describes an animal with its skeleton on the outside (like lobsters) instead of on the inside (like humans), “exogender” describes my experience of (a)gender as such: on the outside I am strongly (and proudly) a woman, but on the inside I have no gender — I’m agender. This definition is uniquely tied to my experiences living as a (fat, brown-skinned) Black woman and, as such, it’s a term that — should others adopt it — should only be used by Black folks.
2019: A gender that is beyond gender; a non-existent gender; truly, it is not a gender, but simply a word to fill the gap. Not synonymous with agender, as for agender to exist, there must first be a Gender to be Not experienced by agender people. Similar to Praegender and Panengender.
2020: exogender - a fluid gender that is determined by visual appearance. for example, if someone who is exogender presents masculinely, then their gender is exoboy. if the same person chooses to present androgynously, then their gender becomes exononbinary or exoandrogynous.
2021: Exogender or psuedogender is a neurogender and/or xenogender under the exomyn umbrella specific to those in plural systems where one's gender is affected by their psuedomemories or exomemories. This can be in the following ways, or similar.
2023: Exogender is a gender described as being out of the binary and nonbinary like viewing all genders from the outside. An Exogender individual might feel outside of any labels in a way that can only be described as being another subset, and feeling left out from gender, like watching the earth from space.

When i say i want to hang out with weirdos I do not mean "I want to hang with gay people and that's my marker for whether or not someone is weird." I'm not saying "weird" and meaning "vaguely aro" or "polyam" or "nonbinary" or whatever. Those are not personality traits. They tell you nothing about what that person is like. If i say I need more weird people in my social circle I'm talking about people who are weird. People who aren't like, going with the grain of any community based on literally anything. I have standards for this. I'm looking for like. People who won't blink if I say i only ever enter my house through the window or when I talk about drinking gasoline and then do it and they see I'm not joking, or people who won't think anything huge of me cracking the top of an eggshell and drinking the whole thing from the top in one mouthful. Or if they do, they do enough same-vein shit that it doesn't faze them. These are not really the same as being part of a very broad group of people who happen to have an exogender or whatever. I have met some incredibly normal (derogatory) trans people and gay people and aro people and nonbinary people. When i say weird I mean weird.
#saw a really annoying post.#red rambles#im being so brave by only saying this#like. why are you convinced exclusionists are the ones who want their circle to be more interesting and permissive 1. 2 no the fuck i dont#mean 'i want to know more aros' when i say 'i want more weird as hell friends' that means nothing! thats like saying i want more friends#that eat chocolate. thats not a fucking personality trait#weird is a trait about a personality! weird is a thing about THE PERSONALITY of the person ARO is a ROMANTIC ORIENTATION#im not befriending people on basis of their fucking genders do i look that boring to you?????#fuck of.#-3x0#-3x5#if you think i'm weird because i'm transgender rather than weird because I'm weird and transgender because i'm transgender then like you've#genuinely lost the plot. 80% of the things i do are much weirder than wanting a different appearance and none of them have almost anything#to do with me being any kind of queer except the non-loaded dictionary kind#my gender situation and shit is probably more normal than the rest of my life by far#i dont even disagree with the idea that you have to be more broadly accepting of people if you wanna share space with people like me but for#the love of god. i would rather hang out with a cis straight avowed furry than a nonbinary xe/xem user who thinks that anyone who dresses#differently from the Fashionable Standard or doesn't listen to the same music as them is somehow Transgeessing and Being Soooooooo Annoying#^not a hypothetical

Intro post because I'm basic.
I'm 22, and CURRENTLY use he/vamp pronouns. This might change, but it'll be updated.
I am a trans guy, with diagnosed gender dysphoria, and am currently over a year on T (Since people seem to care about my °•○Medical Transition Goals○•° I am planning on getting top surgery since like. That's the biggest source of dysphoria that my body gives me, but bottom surgery no. I don't get much dysphoria and it'd be a waste of money considering I don't have insurance 😶.
I also identify as bimbogender (But a version I coined early 2020 and only published to the Gender Tag app in '21 lol.) I personally define it as a gender where you are dumb as hell but hot as fuck. Its reclaiming your own personal confidence and femininity and making sure you are seen and heard. Literally anyone can be bimbogender as long as you are feminine although I'd prefer only adults to use the term. I'll also drop the flag I made too lol
Tumblr media
My DNI is pretty basic: If you judge others based on gender identity/Sexuality or lack thereof, if you're bigoted, if you think trans people HAVE to conform to gender stereotypes.

I posted this to my Twitter too but this is legit important. (To me anyway)
Can we not treat pronouns as.though they're a privilege? I've seen several callouts about awful people that CHOOSE to erase the fact that the person in the callout is trans. Like they'll have screenshots where the person is literally talking about being on mtf hrt and proceed to call her a man and use he/him for her. Or they'll have screenshots of profiles where the pronouns are in all caps and then just go based on (assumed) agab.
Like what the fuck? Just because you don't like someone, that doesn't magically make it okay to misgender them.
Like seriously. Not liking someone, or that person being AWFUL doesn't mean you can be transphobic. I don't care if they're a pedo, zoophile, transmed whatever. They are still a trans person, and their pronouns are NOT your choice.
Especially if you're trans yourself. You expect people to respect YOUR pronouns, so put that same energy back.

Exogender
A gender that is beyond gender; a non-existent gender; truly, it is not a gender, but simply a word to fill the gap. Not synonymous with agender, as for agender to exist, there must first be a Gender to be Not experienced by agender people. Similar to Praegender and Panengender. Another gender may be added onto the end (e.g., exoseraphaeic, exogirl) if the person feels that the second gender in question may be the closest way possible to describe what may be defined as ‘gender’ in human terms. Using exoseraphaeic & exogirl as examples, the person is exogender but feels that, if they had to choose a gender in order to describe it the best way they can, it’d be seraphaeic/girl.
This gender was coined by two nonhumans in a system, but anyone can use it.
The first flag is the actual exogender flag, while the other two are alternatives. The blue and gold stripes expanding past the black border symbolise that exogender is beyond gender.
Coined by: 🌌 of our system Flag: 🌌 and xeno-aligned
[ID: three pride flags. the first has a black border around it. it’s made up of horizontal stripes. the first stripe is light blue, with a thin darker blue underneath it. under that, a thick white stripe is halved horizontally by a thin gold stripe. finally, there is a thin dark blue stripe on top of a light blue stripe. each thin stripe expands past the black border, while the thicker stripes stay within it. the second flag is the same as the first, but the thin stripes also stay within the border. the third flag is the same, but has no border. end ID]

Eurgender: A wide / broad gender identity (eur- wide).
Existgender: A gender that simply exists.

Expelgender: When you don't have or only partially have a connection to your AGAB due to trauma.
Extrogender: When you feel your gender more when interacting with others. Comes from the term extrovert, but you don't have to be one to use it.
Faendagender: When you feel like your gender follows you despite it being a source of question for you; for instance your sexual orientation may change but your gender remains the same. Can be combined with relevant genders.
[Full list of terms are in the google docs if you don’t want to wait for the next posts]
[Link for A-K] and [Link for L-Z] and [Link for text only]
If any of you know if there’s flags for any of these already, please send a link to it so we can add it to the gallery! And if you know who coined it so we can properly credit them (and that includes if it was anonymously posted or the blog deactivated).

Abiaspec Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Abiaspec (abinarine spectrum), abiagender spectrum, exterspec or exospec: an umbrella term similar to abingender for anyone on the abinary spectrum; it includes all aphorian/abinary genders/apisgenders, partial aphorian/abinarish genders, abinary-aligned and adjacent genders, abyflux (abinaryflux), and genders which are in some way similar to/resemblant of abinarinity.
Colors obtained from niaspec, aiaspec, xiaspec, and agiaspec flags, although not limited to such spectrums.

I'm not sure if i remember correctly, but there was a term that had a definition something along the lines of "...different from agender, as agender suggests theres any gender to identify as to begin with"? If that makes sense? If you cant find that, can you maybe suggest similar genderless terms? Thank you!
Exogender: A gender that is beyond gender; a non-existent gender; truly, it is not a gender, but simply a word to fill the gap. Not synonymous with agender, as for agender to exist, there must first be a Gender to be Not experienced by agender people.

Abingender Flag
Tumblr media
Abingender (abiagender/abegender/abigender): Umbrella term for all genders abinary in nature. Also a term to refer to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely abinary/abenine/abinine, or a gender in which abinarity (abininity or abeninity) is its defining feature. May simply be used as “abin”, ie. “my gender is abin” (or abia/abe/abi).
The flag is similar to ningender, but it’s meant to mix both ain/aia and agin/agia spectrums/spectra. Note that abia- is interchangeable with abin- when exogender, however someone could be midbinary of mingender (not abingender) while being niagender (abiagender), for example. Read more on @momma-mogai-sphinx (about viagender).
