Zionists want you to conflate Judaism and Zionism. Zionists want you to believe that Judaism cannot exist without Zionism and that all Jews are Zionists. Zionism would have Jews believe that a Jewish state is the only way that they can be safe from antisemitism and will point to any instance of antisemitism as proof that Zionism is the solution- so Zionism wants gentiles to be antisemitic in their support of Palestine. They want you to conflate all Jews with Zionism and the state of Israel, and they want you to treat all Jews regardless of political affiliation as the face of Israel. Antizionist Jews exist, and incidences of antisemitism ostensibly acting against Zionism will not help dismantle the forces propping Zionism up.

This is so. Fucking. Stupid.
Before I dive in let me just say: This writing is so pathetic simply because this is how humans act?? Like how fragile does Bruce’s ego have to be that he’s going to start a fist fight with his son. It’s like in the damn high school movies where the bully pushes a girl and the other guy punches the bully in the face. People don’t just go around punching people!! They get frustrated and angry but they don’t just fucking punch someone who they disagree with!? (Majority of the time)
Now for the actual analysis: I actually had high expectations for this, I really thought that writers have learnt that no we actually don’t love seeing Bruce beating the shit out of Jason/his kids. “hEs a ViGaLaNtE and Jason’s a cRiMiNaL” fuck off that’s not an excuse.
Honestly Jason shouldn’t even try to convince Bruce anymore, it’s always the same shit. “They’re bad people, they deserve to die”
“You don’t get to decide that” *punches his son in the face*
How many times have I had to read this?? Every fucking comic that includes Jason and Bruce ends up in a fist fight. I’m fucking sick of it.
The writing was genuinely so stupid

There’s so much here that just doesn’t make sense and that’s excluding the fact that Bruce is threatening to kill his son.
Do these contemporary writers not understand that Jason doesn’t kill everyone who may kill others. He’s not a “Mass murderer”. He kills the dirtbags of Gotham. He kills the worst of the worst. He kills the r*pists, the abusers, and anyone who brings harm to women, children and the vulnerable. He doesn’t go storming into a restaurant and shooting up the place??? That’s what a mass murderer would do.
Now with that in mind, the logic would be No Bruce you shouldn’t kill Red Hood because he doesn’t just kill people. You wouldn’t be reducing the deaths in Gotham because without Jason killing the scum who terrorise the vulnerable, then there will be more deaths. Killing Jason if anything would increase crime. In UTRH, when Red Hood first appears, Batman himself said “crime is down”. That shows that what Jason does is in fact effective, which is why he does what he does. If Jason was just a killer killing other killers, Jason’s whole reason his own morals would not be consistent or accurate!! If that was the case then yes YES Bruce you should theoretically kill Red Hood. If if if god forbid Jason was one of the nasty scum of the earth that he tries to wipe out, then yes by his morals he indeed deserved to die.
These writers are so clouded with having this raw masculine rage between the two characters; being allowed to kill someone or not, that they blindly and stupidly forget that both of these characters are human and therefore have complex morals and values.
Jason fundamentally believes he is doing good for Gotham- and the statistics prove that!! Bruce knows that what Jason does is needed. He knows that Jason’s methods help Gotham. Jason is a consequentialist and both Jason and Bruce should know that. Likewise, Bruce is a deontologist, he believes the actions are wrong and immoral but he knows that Gotham is better off. He just doesn’t agree with the methods. Jason said himself “I’m doing what you won’t” Bruce knows Jason isn’t a dumb vengeful maniac terrorizing Gotham. So why the fuck did the writers bring these characters so low that Bruce would even suggest that Jason should be killed along with the other criminals.
Lastly, if the answer was yes, then Bruce why the fuck are you asking to kill your son? Like you’d actually do it you little bitch. Kill the joker first and then ask about your son.
Really shitty writing, it’s so frustrating. Like, I was actually excited to see what this new Jason comic was going to give me. But now…More fights between him and his Dad. Yippeee this is really what the readers want. Smh
Call me naive but I just thought maybe Jason and the bats would be able to connect without beating the shit out of each other.

The Spencer Post
Hi this is where I explain my observed nuances with Spencer and how I personally characterize him. Explaining why I think he acts the way he does. Please note that like 90 percent of this is headcanon.
Let’s get some backstory on Spencer. His job is to be the personal private engine of the Duke and Duchess of Boxford. This is a very prestigious job, one unsurprising of his class of engine. Being a Gresly and being implied siblings with the real life engine Mallard, he has a lot of expectations and responsibilities put on his buffers. On top of that, let me remind you he is a private engine. Not only does he carry the weight of expected perfection as the other greslys, he has to look good and be the status symbol for the Duke and Duchess. He has. So much to keep on top of, to keep track of and remember. He arguably might have more expectations placed on him than Gordon or Scotsman.
Not only that but Spencer is very….alone. He doesn’t fit in anywhere on account of his position. He’s not really a mainland engine because he’s not always on the mainland. He’s not a Sodor engine because he doesn’t live on Sodor, he lives with the Duke and Duchess presumably at their main house somewhere else. He’s a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit into either picture.
But how does this affect how he acts? Why does he act like such an asshole? Well, the answer is a bit more complex than you might think. As we all know, steam engines are always at a risk of being scrapped. The exception being Sodor because Sodor is a steam sanctuary. But on the mainland it’s a different story. If engines on the mainland are at risk for being scrapped for not being useful enough, what’s to stop them from sabotaging each other in order to get a leg up on them. To make their competition look bad just so they can live another day. On the mainland its every man for himself. And if you want to survive, you take out the weakest.
And Spencer, poor poor Spencer, already burdening the weight of perfection on his shoulders and his status as an outcast fueling his desperate need for validation and need to fit in. Lets the mainland engines’ way of thinking pollute his brain. This idea of needing to take out those below you, less useful and who are a threat, infects his mind and influences his actions. He thinks he needs to get rid of those underneath him so he can continue to survive, to not jeopardize his position as private engine.
And he takes this way of thinking to Sodor. He harasses Edward and says he should be scrapped before losing to him in a race. He hunts down Hiro because he thinks he’s a piece of rusted scrap metal and nothing more. He becomes rotten. Vindictive. Vitriolic.
But…. He gets better. He gets lectured pretty harshly by the Duke and Duchess for his hunt on Hiro. And he spends more time on Sodor. And once again, he’s influenced. Because at heart, Spencer is a people pleaser. And this fact is important.
Because Spencer’s personality and morals seem to fluctuate wildly throughout the show. Sometimes he’s a great guy, if a bit snobbish, and in others he’s quite possibly the biggest asshole ever known. And here’s why I think that is. Spencer pingpongs between Sodor and the mainland. Thus his personality is influenced by whoever he is around. And to be frank, the mainland engines are massive pricks, and would 100% tell Spencer he’s too soft or insane for letting a “useless hunk of scrap iron” live. For not falling into the every man for himself mentality. And so every time he returns to Sodor he’s been conditioned to think that way because he molds into whatever people tell him to be.
And on Sodor he molds into a better person. I think that later on in the series where his personality is more solid and less horribly inconsistent, he genuinely comes into his own with the help of the Sodor engines. Knowing that he always has a place on Sodor and grows out of the mainland mindset for good
He learns. He grows. Yes he fucked up bad but he was heavily misguided and insecure about not only fitting in, but also being perfect. His mind was poisoned but it got clearer. He finally made friends and has a place he can say he belongs to.
I love Spencer, I only want the best for him.

I'm sure I've brought this up before but I feel a lot more confident in it now but I'm pretty sure that I do not experience attraction, period. at least, i do not feel like i experience any emotion or feeling that can be called attraction.
Attraction just feels like such a foreign thing to me because every i try to understand it it just becomes lost on me.
I can understand when someone is pretty, but i see people being pretty or handsome in the same way that i see a flower is pretty or a sunset is pretty. i do not think there is any attraction involved in that at all. I think the closest I've probably gotten to a feeling of attraction would be when i see buff women; but tbh i feel that admiration fits better than attraction in that case.
idk I just have been thinking a lot about attraction lately and how i always found myself confused on the idea of platonic attraction or aesthetic attraction because while i do like having friends and while i do find people pretty, i wouldn't call the feelings i have towards these things attraction. I'm not attracted to what i find aesthetically pleasing. I'm not attracted to any friends or people i may want to be friends with (Which the friend thing is a whole can of worms for another post with it's own nuances).
Some people may say "No you are feeling attraction, you're describing attraction" but genuinely i feel like i may not be. every time people have tried to explain it to me it never feels right. or the word feels wrong for what they are describing. People describe it as "Wanting" but that doesn't always work with other split attractions.... like people wanting to be friends is platonic attraction but....what is there to want with aesthetic attraction???? familial attraction????
same with descriptions of other attractions, everyone just has an explanation that doesn't click in my brain as something i feel.
and this isn't me bashing on people who feel attraction - I know feelings can be incredibly vague and difficult to explain and me not understanding isn't me calling it stupid or fake. It's more just me not being able to grasp something because I do not feel it. Similar to how i don't fully understand romance as an aro person who just...doesn't feel it.
idk there's no point to this post other than rambling on about attraction. I feel like it isn't discussed as much as it should be in aspec spaces. most people stop at romantic and sexual attraction but not much is explored past that point in terms of the SAM or even just the world attraction in general. Like....for a community that is built up of a lot of identities expressing the lack of attraction it's strange how we kinda don't explore the idea of attraction more outside of just...romantic or sexual...

Have you ever tried doing your hair like your mother does hers? With the horns and all?
Well, no not particularly. Mother wears her hair like that to show loyalty to Father. Basically, it was a defiant stance she took against her Celestial Family who wanted her to return to them when Father was imprisoned. I have too much respect for her beliefs to try it for myself.
And honestly, I'm not fond of people touching my hair, so changing my current hairstyle proves to be a bit of a challenge. My scalp is sensitive and it makes it much harder to contain my sparks. I've burned more than my fair hair of barbers. (MK and Mei excluded. They know how to not get burned.)

So, this time playing Strangetown I had Nervous interact with Olive while he was at the Beaker house.
(Pardon I have a terrible habit of not taking screenshot at all of my gameplays)
Their exchanges were mostly chatting through the computer and sending emails. Yet they developed a friendship, Olive tried to call some times but Loki and Circe didn't allow Nervous to receive calls, they even lectured him for that!
As time went on, Nervous continued to be experimented on. One day he went outside the Beaker Castle and stargazed to forget the events of the day, the SensoTwitch Lie Finder more than anything.
He had the horrible luck of being struck by a satellite.
When I went to the Specter house, Olive rolled a want to resurrect Nervous, of course this was a little bit of cheating but I let her retire, then made her work at the Paranormal career to gave her the Resurrect-O-Nomitron to do so, and oh boy she did resurrect him.
The days went by, Ophelia became friends with Nervous, Olive sent all tombstones to Dead End Cemetery. So no ghosts to scare Ophelia and Nervous, they already struggled enough.
Ophelia went to College then it was just Nervous and Olive on her last days. With such a high aspiration level, Olive died of old age, Grim took her by his side.
Then I built this little altar for her.
My Nervous is currently engaged to Pascal and the house was redecorated a bit so it was more child-friendly.
Tycho now has a pool, lots of toys scattered around the house, some even handmade by Nervous and there is one extra room in case they adopt / Pascal ends up abducted again.
