You’re safe with me (Ajak x F!Reader) part 2
Tumblr media
part 1
____________________
"Y/N?...where are you?"
Ajak looked around with a frown, being as quiet as she could and trying to ignore the growing anguish in her chest. Her hands glowed and a pair of yellow energy spheres came out of them, she was ready to attack.
It had been a few months since she found you, or rather, since you ran into her while running from your uncle and your father's hunters. The eternal hadn't meant to, she had simply gone for a walk when the nightmares had become too much for her, she hadn't expected to find her soul mate that night.
To be honest, she wasn't even sure that she should have a soul mate. Sure, humans had those mysterious markings that told them where they were going to be touched by their other halves, but she wasn't human, and there was no reason for her to be connected to you.
But it was what it was and she wasn't about to lose you, not after you managed to awaken an intense and faithful passion that had been dormant for so long. You had made her feel alive and human like she had never been able to. You had become the most important thing to her, even more than the rest of the Eternals, Arishem, or the mission that was granted to her since her creation. None of that mattered to her, not when she was with you.
Of course, she wasn't stupid, she knew that her team wouldn't understand, especially Ikaris. None of them had been marked like her, none knew the feeling of belonging to someone. She had been the exception, and she had to take care of you more than life itself. That was why she had brought you here, to a small cabin in the middle of nowhere. It was quiet, calm, away from everything, a small place that would never attract the attention of humans, much less the Eternals, perfect for you.
Ajak tried to spend as much time with you as she could, bringing you food, clothes, news, and anything else you might need. It's not that you were a prisoner or that she didn't let you out, on the contrary, she loved when you told her that you had explored a little on your own, it was you who was terrified to leave the house.
She could understand it, after everything you had been through at the hands of the people who were supposed to love and protect you, it was normal for you to be alert and suspicious of everything and everyone, but it hurt her to see you so scared. It seemed like you only let your guard down when you were with her.
Of course, she appreciated that, because earning your trust had taken her a long time, even after you found out she was your soul mate, but she didn't want you to live a life full of terror, she wanted you to be happy, even in the moments when she couldn't be by your side. That's why she was terrified that you wouldn't come out to meet her.
"Y/N?" she called out to you again, pushing open the kitchen door.
There was no sign of a fight or that someone had forced their way into the house, but the deathly silence that surrounded her only made her stomach churn with every step she took. You could not have disappeared, but there was a huge possibility that you were not at home, and it was terrifying to think that you could be hurt away from the place.
"Y/N?"
She carefully uploaded the stairs, suddenly too aware of the sound that the old wooden boards made under her weight. It had never bothered her, she didn't even think about it, but at this moment her senses were on maximum alert and even the most subtle of the sounds seemed terrible.
She slowly entered the room where you slept, with her hands yet bright and ready to shoot and the drops of cold sweat starting to roll on her forehead. At first glance, there was nothing out of place. The bed was made, the books were all in their corresponding places on the shelf, there was not a trace of dust, the curtains were open and the warm sunlight entered through the window. Anyone would say it was a simple and ordinary room, with nothing to hide.
But Ajak was not anyone, she knew you and fully trusted her instincts that had recently refined more to protect you, something was wrong. She looked with more attention and felt that she could breathe a little again when she noticed the corner of the slightly raised carpet. A seemingly unimportant detail, but for her, it meant the most important thing: to find you. It was obvious that you had run from the room, probably to hide in what had become your favorite hiding place since you arrived at that house: the closet.
It could sound silly, but the woman knew that when fear ran through you and made you difficult to breathe, the cold and darkness of the place locking you helped to calm you, in addition, it was a deep closet, so you could well hide in the background and avoid being seen if someone opened the door, she knew it, you had already given more than a scare that way.
She moved slowly to the closet, not wanting to scare you if she walked too fast, despite how much she needed to see you and know that you were well. She softly opened the door and despite the fact that she could not see you with her eyes, the link that you shared told her that you were actually there.
Finally, the energy balls of her hands disappeared, and she carefully pushed the coats, jackets, and dresses that she had given you, entering a little more in the place and feeling completely relieved when she finally saw you. However, the concern invaded her again the next second when she saw you in a ball in the corner, hugging your legs. The hair covered your face but she could hear you sobbing slightly.
"Y/N?" She spoke softly "dear, what’s wrong?"
You didn't move, but your shoulders tensed. Ajak moved a little closer to you, carefully sitting next to you and slowly putting her arm around you, giving you a few seconds to move away if you wanted.
"Y/N?"
"They know" you whispered, without raising your head
"What?" the brunette blinked in confusion "love, speak a little louder, will you?"
"They know" you repeated
"Who knows what?"
"They" you insisted "I hid as fast as I could, but...I'm scared"
"Love, breathe" she told you, moving a little so that she could face you and raise your head.
You looked at her with a painful mix of guilt and fear, tears running freely down your cheeks. Your eyes were bloodshot and you were terribly pale, which triggered her danger sensors. Who could have scared you like that?
"I don't understand you, Y/N" she told you, trying to keep her voice steady "who knows?"
"The ones like you" you said quietly as if just mentioning them could summon them.
Ajak felt her breath hitch, and she had to lean against the wall to keep from losing her balance. It couldn't be, no, not them! Not the Eternals. Since she had found you, one of her worst fears was that her teammates would find out about you, because she knew that it would be the end, that they would take you away, and that Ikaris might even kill you. The mere idea that they actually already knew not only of your existence but of your location, paralyzed her heart.
"W-what do you mean?" she whispered as if the walls might give her away "how?"
"I don't know" you said "I was reading by the window when I saw them arrive, so I ran as fast as I could to hide"
"They saw you?" the older woman urged you on, taking you by the arms
You shuddered a little when you felt how she dug her fingers into your skin, but you didn't blame her. You could feel the fear beginning to course through her veins as well and her eyes sparkled with concern. It was really scary to see someone who was always composed like Ajak scared.
"No" you shook your head "or at least I hope so. I moved fast" you assured her
"Okay" she said more to herself "...what were they like?"
"They were both big and round, one dressed in dark blue and the other in orange-brown...at least that's what I could see" you answered
Ajak sighed in relief, finally realizing the strength of her grip and letting go. Gilgamesh and Phastos. It was okay, it wasn't that bad. While she didn't understand how both men had discovered you, you were lucky they were just the two most noble Eternals on the team, she could deal with them.
Gilgamesh was a giant with a heart of gold who might well understand her reasons, while Phastos was the most loyal to her, even more than Ikaris and Sprite, even if he didn't understand her feelings for you, she was sure he wouldn't hurt you, none of them.
"You don't say it out loud, but I can always feel that you're afraid they'll find me" you spoke, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"I'm sorry" she replied "it wasn't fair of me not to tell you about them"
"I don't want to know" you said "they scare me"
Ajak looked at you for a moment, concern and love welling up in her heart in equal measure. She was quite aware of the thousands of centuries she was older than you, but it had always been easy to ignore that fact when you were together. It was the first time that she could really feel the full weight of the difference not only in age but also in species.
"They're not bad" she said "...at least not all of them"
She felt strange talking about the people she used to call friends like that, but she really had nothing and no one to be faithful to but you. Neither to the Eternals nor to Arishem, not anymore. Her faith had changed the second she'd met you.
"Some of them are good" she continued "Gilgamesh and Phastos are good"
"The ones that came?"
"Yes" she smiled at you
"And why were they looking for me?"
The brunette had no answer for that. A part of her told her that they hadn't really been looking for you specifically. She had seen Phastos that morning and the man didn't know how to lie, at least not to her, and Gilgamesh always told Thena everything and there was no way you wouldn't have been found if the blonde had known about you.
Maybe it wasn't for you, maybe it was for her. The prime eternal had been proud to keep you safe and secret from her comrades, but maybe someone had at least noticed that her demeanor had changed.
A chill ran through her body at the thought that they had probably followed her there, and returned when she was not around. That would explain why there were no signs of a fight or forced locks, they hadn't been there to look for you, just to investigate. It was a miracle they hadn't found you.
"Ajak?" you asked carefully after a few seconds
"We have to pack" she said firmly, getting up and taking you with her.
You obediently followed her out of the closet, shyly taking her hand to feel more secure. Your mind kept thinking about those two men, and even though she told you they were good, you didn't feel safe.
"Where are we going?" you asked
"I don't know" the brunette admitted "but I have to get you out of here"
"But you said they were good"
"They are" she smiled at you "and we were lucky, but if they managed to find this place, it's only a matter of time before someone else does."
"The bad ones?" you asked, trembling slightly
Ajak seemed to snap out of a trance when she looked at you. For a moment she forgot that she needed to be the one to stay calm. She forced a smile, pushing her own fears to the back of her mind, you had to be the priority right now.
"Hey, it's okay" she told you, wrapping her arms around your waist to pull you closer "everything will be fine. You're safe with me, remember?"
You nodded and placed your head on her shoulder letting her scent soothe you. You could feel that she was just as worried as you were, but just the fact that she was trying to hide it from you to put you first made you feel better. You knew she wasn't going to let anything happen to you.
"I promise no one is going to touch you, not while I'm alive" she said, taking your face and planting a chaste kiss on your lips.
You smiled, not knowing the real battle cry the other woman was making. The celestials had made her the most powerful eternal, and even though her teammates only knew of her healing powers, the truth was that she had been conceived as everyone's backup, so she possessed almost all of their abilities (or at least some similar) too.
She had never had to use them, but she wouldn't hesitate to if someone put you in danger. It didn't matter if she had to destroy the Eternals and celestials herself, she would, as of that moment, she was declaring war on the universe for you.

Jason Todd is stealing the tires off of the Batmobile, when a man walks up on him doing it.
The man stares at him, nods, and just says "I'll keep a look out, man, go go go!"
So Jason does, and he gets all four tires with the man's help.
The man introduces himself as Danny Foley, and asks Jason if he wants to go get some burgers.
Danny, meanwhile, has decided that yes. This is the child he will adopt. He just has to convince the kid of that.
Batman has to call in Alfred to bring around his backup vehicle with spare tires, and little Timmy gets some wonderful shots of Batman having to replace his own tires.

Okay but imagine what if Omen hater Marika was actually very excited about her first child. She builds a new world with Godfrey, who for most part shows great dad potential with serosh by his side. The age of abundance is in full swing. Everything around her is golden and her belly swollen with her first child…who will also totally be a pale golden boy with no horns right? A perfectly beautiful talented and brilliant baby with no crucible vestiges right? Just a nice baby that she can be a nice mom to who can then give her grandkids and so on right?
But then she gives birth, no, she FEELS it. She feels them scraping out of her(assuming she gives birth naturally but there is also a good chance she has other divine ways). And after a hard labor…what does she get? an omen. And not just one, but TWO omens. TWO fucking omens as her first kids, right after building an omen hating order (karma) (one could say godwyn is the eldest child…but he really doesn’t give eldest child energy idk)
Then years pass. The kids are hidden. She hates the omen in them, but considering how well Morgott speaks as compared to other omens, pretty good guess he and Mohg received some education. And seeing how good Morgott is as veiled monarch in game, also good guess he is talented in statecraft. Imagine Marika noticing this. Morgott learns fast. He writes well. He is good in speech. He is no doubt strong and responsible. She has a talented brilliant and beautiful child. Morgott has all the qualities that anyone would want in a son. But he is an omen…like a slap to the face. Her god gives her a perfect child in an ‘imperfect’ body…

'Be mine'
A request from a godlike entity that would leave many either flattered or terrified.
Jean-Luc Picard felt neither.
He did not know how to feel about it.
Even now that he had indulged Q the demands still continued.
Because Picard could never give Q all of himself.
Because the other parts of him already belonged to so many others.
And Picard realized, that for Q this would never be enough
That when a self-proclaimed god says 'be mine' what they mean is
'Be mine. Entirely. Forever'
Picard was not sure he could or wanted to give Q this.

Personally love the idea that gladstone is interested in the occult and paranormal in a more academic sense, but also is into new-age views on gemstones and crystals in a semi-ironic way partly bc his Luck then gets him gemstones without much expense, but mostly bc its funny watching Ludwig and Gyro get huffy abt it

Persona 5 really took a lot from Persona 2, huh? And 1, of course, considering the postgame. I quite like that, considering how much I love Persona 2!

The M word (Ajak x F!Reader)
Tumblr media
This...I don’t even know what’s this. But enjoy!
(part 2)
__________________________
"She's doing it again" Gilgamesh frowned "Thena! She's doing it again!"
"Again?"
"It's the fifth time this week" Phastos said, joining them in the stands.
Usually, he'd be in his workshop, grateful that the rest of the Eternals were finally quiet, but ever since you'd come into their lives, he had to admit that he'd been taking more and more breaks. He couldn't help it, the current situation was too funny for everyone.
Ajak, the leader, the prime eternal, was in love. She was totally and completely head over heels in love with you. None of them knew the full story, because the woman had strictly forbidden you to talk about how you met, but that didn't stop them from having fun.
It was inevitable, you were the best thing that had happened to them in...a long time. You were strong enough to fight Thena and Kingo, smart enough to follow Phastos' conversations, you loved talking to Druig about human morality, you didn't mind making a fool of yourself to play with Sprite and Sersi, and you were as kind and cool as Gilgamesh and Makkari. Even Ikaris had developed a soft spot for you, treating you like a sister.
And most importantly: you were immortal, despite not exactly being an eternal. So neither of them had to worry about you getting hurt in battle (not that Ajak paid attention to that detail, she was always nervous when you went to fight), or time closing in on you and you dying while they blinked.
You were the perfect match for Ajak, and everyone could see the love the woman had for you, one that was fully reflected in your eyes as well. Sprite and Kingo had teased a bit the first time they saw you kissing, but deep down they all knew that you were a permanent part of their lives now, they just needed to make it official.
Which would be easier if Ajak would stop blushing like a schoolgirl with her first crush every time she saw you and finally ask you the all-important question. They had all given her space, not wanting to pressure her, but it had been years since you had been with them and everyone was running out of patience.
"What are we watching?" Druig asked, appearing out of nowhere.
"Ajak is watching Makkari and Y/N train" Thena explained "We are watching Ajak being a nervous wreck while she watches Makkari and Y/N train"
"My favorite show" he replied, standing next to Phastos.
Ajak kept her gaze on you, pretending not to hear her friends behind her. She wasn't stupid, she knew that sooner or later they were going to come up with the same request as always, but the answer was still no. It's not that she didn't want to take that step, she loved you, but it made her nervous to think about the M word.
"Why don't you make her a camera, Phastos? It'll last her longer" Thena smiled as Ajak flinched.
"Oh, I'm sure it's not necessary" the man answered trying to contain a laugh "she already has Y/N’s image completely burned into her mind"
"I told you to let me into Y/N's mind" Druig intervened "this would have been over years ago"
"Enough!"
The four Eternals jumped as the leader approached them with fire in her eyes and her face completely red. Maybe she was shorter than all of them, but an annoying Ajak always commanded respect, even from Thena.
"I will not tolerate this...taunting from you, is that clear?"
"We would stop doing it if you did what you have to do" Thena replied. (I said that she commanded respect, not fear)
"I don’t know what you're talking about"
"Ajak, you're daydreaming about kissing Y/N all the time" Druig said
"That's not true" the woman blushed
"She's daydreaming about fucking her all the time" the blonde smirked.
"THENA!"
“You didn’t deny it”
"m-hmm, kisses and sex, that's what marriage is all about, you're dreaming of marrying her" Phastos smiled
"Enough! Get out of here, all of you"
"Did I hear Ajak, Y/N, and marriage in the same sentence?" Kingo asked, sticking his head through the arch of the door "Ohhhh, finally?! Excellent!! I already have everything planned, wait, I'm going to get my notebook, this will be the best wedding ever!!"
"Kingo!"
Ajak let out a mortified groan as the other four Eternals laughed around her. Was it really that hard to ask for a little privacy in this family?!
"Who's getting married?" you asked, appearing suddenly behind her
The prime eternal froze in her place and glanced sideways at Thena, who was failing miserably to hide her victorious smile. She was going to kill each and every one of them in their sleep.
"You and Ajak!" Kingo replied from inside "Don't worry, I'll send you the invitation tomorrow when I have your dress!"
"Kingo!!!!"

Marvel Preferences - With A Gamer GF
Bucky - Bucky is a bit of a classic gamer. He can handle an arcade game like no one you’ve ever seen. When you introduce him to the world of at home gaming he is very intrigued. The first few times you show him he simply sits back and watches happily. He enjoys seeing you in your element. Later he asks if he can try. You gladly give up the controller, watching him pick up the game like a fish to water. He’s so good at it. However, he still prefers the classics. So after that he’d rather just sit and watch and go to the arcade from time to time.
Loki - At first Loki finds your games quite silly. When he sees you playing and you explain to him what you’re doing he would turn his nose up a bit. “Games are for children.” He comments absentmindedly before leaving the room. However he couldn’t help but watch one night and what he saw really impressed him. You moved through the levels with such ease and comfortability that he couldn’t help but stay to watch. After that night, he was hooked. He never wants to play with you but he’s become quite fond of watching. He even praises you often when you beat a level or achieve a task.
Tony - Tony is a bit of a gamer himself. Not nearly as in depth as you but he knows his way around a controller. He used to love first person shooters. He was actually quite good at them too. However, after what happened in New York he’s been a bit skittish around the more violent games. It feels too immersive sometimes. That’s when you introduce him to some cozier games. He finds that he enjoys gaming much more when there’s not so much pressure. He really likes Minecraft. He could sit there and build with you for hours. The two of you now have a standing Minecraft date every Friday night.
Steve - Steve is super confused by your games at first. When he sees the high definition graphics and the complex set of tasks he’s kind of blown away, commenting how impressive it is that you can keep track of everything. Wanting to immerse him in your favorite pastime you try to warm him up to playing with you. The first time he actually gets a bit frustrated when he can’t figure it out. However, pretty soon he picks it up and plays with you from time to time. Now you switch off between watching and playing, finding it a delightful way to spend time together. Although he doesn’t admit it, he’d much rather just watch you play rather than picking up a controller for himself.
Frank - Frank is actually a big gamer himself. He loves to relax on the couch at the end of a tough week and mindlessly play a violent video game. It wasn’t until he met you that he discovered other types of games. He’s warmed up to other genres although his favorite is still the classic first person shooters. The two of you always find time to curl up together and play a game. He’s very lovey when you’re playing together. He’ll usually have you situated between his legs, wrapping his arms around your waist as he maneuvers the controller. It’s his favorite when you play shooter games with him. There’s something about seeing you so expertly handle a gun in game that just does something to him. He loves gaming even more after meeting you. Something about that time together is very special to him.
Stephen - Stephen does not game. He finds the whole notion kind of below him. He would never deny you something that made you happy though. So he does try. There have been a handful of occasions where he’s sat and watched you play although in all instances he ended up falling asleep on the couch. There have also been a handful of times when you’ve both played together. He indulges you just because he loves you so much but it’s not something that happens very often. When it does he usually quits within an hour, finding some excuse to be done early. He’d much rather just leave you to yourself when you’re gaming, letting you do what makes you happy without any kind of interruption.
Vision - Vision is naturally a whiz at games. It’s not his favorite hobby but there are definitely times when he is in the mood to game with you. He likes puzzle games the best. Anything that engages the mind. He loves watching you work out the complex rules and steps in order to win. Your intelligence is incredibly attractive to him so seeing your beautiful sexy brain in action is absolutely peak for him. Although for him, a good majority of the games you play are somewhat boring to him since he finds them so simple. His favorite moments are when he is cooking dinner and can watch you playing your game from the kitchen as he works. It’s the perfect amount of stimulation and entertainment for him. He’d much rather do that.
Druig - Druig does like to game with you. He gets very competitive when he does though. Part of you loves it and part of you hates it. It doesn’t matter what the game is, he can always find a way to make a competition out of it. If you’re playing a first person shooter, he’ll bet you he can kill more bad guys than you. If it’s a puzzle game, he guarantees he can solve the puzzle faster than you. If it’s a farming game, he’s sure that he’ll grow more crops than you do. It’s all in a joking spirit though. He never actually means to compete with you. He just finds your huffy little reactions quite entertaining. It’s especially fun when you get into the spirit of it with him, trying to beat him at whatever challenge he’s given you at that moment.
Dane - Dane is really bad at games but he’s got the spirit. It’s always so delightful when you watch him playing a game. It’s never frustrating or hindering. You just patiently guide him through the tasks, watching intently as he completes them one at a time. You find that farming games are really good to play with him. He’s better at those than any other kind of game. You just give him one task at a time. As he completes a task he’ll happily ask what he can do next. It’s kind of funny sometimes but you would never tell Dane how bad he is. You just keep letting him think he’s a game whiz and enjoying his company as the two of you play together. It’s also nice when he scoots close by your side and links arms with you as you play.

Zero-context WIP game
rules: post a few lines from a writing WIP without sharing the context.
Got tagged by @solas-backpack-mug, thanks!^^ Tbh this thing is currently mostly a mess of purely dialogue (that will likely still get edited for voice, once I play BoW again for some help). I am slowly working my way through writing the actual meat of the piece but it's taking a while. So have this little bit in the meantime cause I thought it was kinda funny.
"So, what's the deal with you?" "My deal is that I give this nice man some coins and he gives me drinks." "Oh haha, hilarious. How about a joke of my own then: a death godlike walks into an eothasian bar." "Does the bar I say 'I forgive you' as the godlike rubs their head?"
I'll throw a tag to @adraveins and @stylishanachronism if you want to show off something.
