I couldn't tag you for some reason and so I chose to answer your comment about Qs guilt and how that would cause him to be overprotective towards Picard after the Borg Trauma this way: How Q felt about Locotus and his own involvement is generally a very interesting topic and it could be really inteeresting if at one point things just started to work out mysteriously well for Picard but with Q having experienced most things about human existence as something 'bad' this could quickly escalate.
I must say I think this makes perfect sense for everyone involved. Like Q knows being human sucks in a deep level. But he risks smothering Picard so it's pretty much a judgement position.

It perhaps isn't really the sitting position that Picard is embarrassed about but he is wearing what could be seen as height enhancement shoes.
Moments in Star Trek I find very funny for some reason

Love all the jokes about Q joking about Picard being 'old' when it is Q who is actually way, way older than earth itself.
Picard: You are aware of the fact that you are older than me, right?
Q: I am an ageless immortal being. The concept of 'old' does not apply to me.
Speaking of 'ageless and Immortal' .. if you get fed up with being this old I can.. arrange for this concept to no longer apply to you as well.

Even though I still consider ST:Picard as more of an AU than canon, I do think that TNG!Picard meeting Picard!Q would be interesting. Because Picard!Q is ancient and mature but also kind of mad in a way that TNG!Q isn't. And I think for Picard it would be like meeting an old, wise but slightly unwell king while he still has to deal with his much younger 'spoiled prince' version.

The way Q looks each time he finds out that Picard is dating someone new and still not giving him a chance.

Picard: I don't get it. Why do my relationships with women never work out?
Q: Are you seriously asking that, Jean-Luc? It's because they're not good enough for you. None of them are! No one is good for you.
Picard:
Q: Now, I on the other hand...

Q has this exact moment on repeat somewhere and he likes to relive it every time he is feeling down.
Picard reluctantly admits to Q;

Scenario, where Picard has become an 'interesting person' to enough powerful people/beings that he is actually glad for Q to arrive.
Because at least with Q he knows what he is dealing with, how to handle him and Q is powerful enough to keep all of the others far away from him.
Honestly, Picard being a magnet for powerful drama queens or childish gods would be quite an interesting theme.

There is someone walking behind you
Turn around, look at me
There is someone watching your footsteps
Turn around, look at me
There is someone who really needs you Here is my heart in my hand
Turn around (turn around), look at me (look at me)
Undertstand, understand
That there’s someone
Who’ll stand beside you
Turn around, look at me
And there’s someone
To love and guide you
Turn around, look at me
O I’ve waited, but I’ll wait forever
For you to come to me
Look at someone (look at someone)
Who really loves you (yea loves you)
Turn around, look at me
Turn around, look at me

One second Picard was sitting in his chair, going over some 'paperwork' on his pad and the other one he was standing in an unpleasantly familiar white void.
Opposite to him was the reason for his sudden relocation: Q.
"Why am I here, Q?"
"As I have told you a few years ago,Jean-Luc. I realized that 'here is where I want to be'"
"But we are not on the Enterprise. It's just you…" an unpleasant realization was making its way through PIcards thoughts "…and me"
The entity suddenly stood way too close before him, looking at him fondly.
"Exactly"
