(made bc I wanted to make alternate designs, colors based on the names of the labels, Im a sunshine aromantic and eclipse aromantic!)
Sunshine Aromantic - Someone on the aromantic spectrum who wants to date anyone
Moonlight Aromantic - Someone on the aromantic spectrum who doesn't want to date anyone
Eclipse Aromantic - Someone on the aro spectrum who switches between wanting and not wanting to date people
Starlight Aromantic - Someone who is on the aromantic spectrum and is unsure whether they want to date people

The chant.
The Varshan Invaders had this thing: Unity.
They dropped Anjax, which was mostly just thirty farms raising the local safe-to-eat animals nicknamed Argnu.
The farmers had all read the briefing packets: If it's the Xss, the Dormavir, the Jince... run. Run n' hide. They'll eat you, literally eat you and that won't do you any good.
The Twon-hai, Gir and Tsush, they're slavers, they'll give up if you stand up to them. Expect up to 68% losses. Still better than what they'll do to you.
The Vershan, the On-dotir, the uHown or the Kelth... Jsut surrender, don't annoy them the Terran Colonial force wills how up and sort it, and there's a chance you can jsut persuade them to be chill and mark you down as Not For Conquering.
So anyway. The Varshan. They'll only take over if they think that the population are disUnified. It's their holy mission to reduce entropy via unity or something. They're pretty chill about it - Nobody gets sacrificed to the dark god, or put in the Castigation Pit - but it's a huge pain in the ass when you really need to be shipping Argnu Beef and not e.g. nonconsensually being inducted into an alien religion.
So they dragged everyone into one area and did their Unity Chant to show that they all were unified.
Then they sent thier guy out and planted a flag.
The next part is they grab some rando and tell them to "Show their Unity". This works well usually because you pick anyone form even a fairly smoothly integrated society and put them on the spot, they'll panic.
Which was why Jacinta Omura, 45, admin, completely bewildered, was dragged out in front of everyone she knew.
So she looks at the aliens who are all looking smug having done thier weird Haka, looks back at the crowd of farmers, and shippers and what-not... And it's her time to shine.
She strieks a pose, head down, one arm up, wide stance.
Everyone in the front row behind her are like OK Jace has flipped her burger here.
But then she starts to sing... Well chant. Not well, not nearly loud enough...
"Buddy, you're a boy," she says, voice breaking. She swallows and adds "make a big noise... Playing in the street, gonna be a big man someday."
Now her voice is getting a little more confident.
About this time the crowd behind her has started to pick up on what she's doing, and there's a ripple of people starting to back her up: The rows behind them catching on.
"You got mud on your face, you're a big disgrace - Kicking your can all over the place, singin'..."
She lifts both arms like she's conducting, and behind her there's the entire colony: clap-clap stomp, Clap-clap stomp, shaking the ground, singing, as one:
"We will, we will rock you! We will, we will rock you"
Well the Vershan were kind of impressed, because hey that ticks the box, and also, style points there. So they loaded up on Argnu meat at a good price so show no hard feelings and went off on their holy crusade to annoy everyone.
And that's how Freddie Mercury saved Anjax.

I just wanted to say that the phrase "entropy's running but we can run faster" has made its way into my vocabulary to replace phrases like "don't mention it." Reading your Young Wizards books as a kid has shaped the way I approach my life and philosophy in general, and I can't thank you enough for it.

There are coffee mugs with that on them, BTW. I'd almost forgotten about them.
(...I'm still trying to figure out why I added national-flag backgrounds to these. If I can ever figure out how to get into my store's media basket and add a plain no-background version of these, I will. WHY does CafePress have to have such a Byzantine shop-management structure...??!)

Just to be clear you don't hate everyone who likes mushrooms and frogs, right? I like mushrooms because they're living representations of entropy and decay and some are so similar to humans that eating them can cause diseases related to cannibalism, and I like frogs because they're fucked up slime dwellers. Is that bad in your eyes?
i dont think that liking frogs or mushrooms makes you bad no, infact i dont think that thinking any plant or animal makes you a bad person, i just dont personally like frogs i find them gross
i do however have issue with the people who are like, weird about me *not* likeing those things, like, thats a fucking massive red flag in so many fucking ways
a) im uncomfortable that people even assume these things about me and moreover that theyre upset when their assumptions are proven wrong. my opinion shouldnt mean ANYTHING to you! you dont know me! and its really uncomfortable going on the internet to post your cat art and then all of a sudden find people acting overly familiar with you when you dont know them and have never interacted with them! i am not some large internet figure and its not ok to treat me that way! you should not be forming any kind of parasocial relationship with a 16yr old cat artist! thats weird and fucked up on so many levels!
b) the idea that i as a queer person "have to" have certain opinions and act a certain way (on things that are just, entirely harmless and meaningless) for some of you to like me is REALLY concerning. like if you genuinely think less of me because i dont like frogs when im a queer person then that makes me really concerned about all the other shit you expect me to do.
i have had alot of experience with people who do fit into those gay stereotypes of loving mushrooms and frogs and a CONCERNINGLY LARGE AMMOUNT OF THEM are like, a year away from falling into just full blown violent transphobia, the willingness to gatekeep what queer people are allowed to do and the idea that they HAVE to like certain things is like, it just makes it very clear that even if you arent a transphobe (or atleast dont THINK of yourself as one) your willingness to gatekeep these things makes you REALLY REALLY suseptible to BECOMEING one.
back when i used to be a lesbian and was in alot of these supposedly queer accepting and friendly spaces i found this out the hard way, when i started questioning my gender, and starting to not conform as much i had so many people who i thought were my friends talking about how i wasnt "allowed" to call myself enby AND a lesbian, and that im just someone trying to force myself into lesbian spaces, that i wasnt "allowed" to use he/him pronouns, because that makes other trans people LOOK bad, as soon as i stopped directly fitting into their veiws of a "respectible" queer person i realized that no. this isnt what a queer accepting space looks like.
and so thats why, i am extremely cautious around anybody who fits into that stereotype. its not *about* frogs, its not *about* mushrooms. its about how people who make these distinctions about what is an ok and not ok way to be queer will immediately turn on me the seccond i dont fit into that. and im not comfortable having those kinds of people around me

What are your favourite CM episodes? Buuut one episode per character!

Starting off with our favorite, our boy:
Luke: Honestly, probably 16.10 "Dead End." For one thing, he made the Sicarius arrest!! Plus he found and saved Rossi, and I'm not going to soon forget "if we lean on each other" and "the heart wants what it wants."
And now I'm just going in order of what i think of
Penelope: 7.8, "Hope." That's the episode where she helps find a woman from her support group who was taken by the man who kidnapped her daughter, and was also at the support group. She was amazing in that episode
Tara: 13.9 "False Flag." My favorite episode, and Tara was so amazing and I love her so much
JJ: 7.24 "Run." I fucking LOVED watching her fight Izzy, and I loved the Willifer wedding. It's one of my favorite season finales (season 7 is probably my favorite as a whole)
Gideon: 1.14 "Ride the Lightning." Yes it makes me sob. Yes it's great.
Matt: 15.3 "Spectator Slowing." This is the one where he's at home with all his kids and plays games and cooks with them and it's so cute.
Reid: I'd say 11.11 "Entropy." That truly is a MASTERFUL episode.
Emily: It's a tie. 15.4 "Saturday." I love chill Emily. Also she was totally making eyes at Tara in that episode and I'm here for it. Also, 4.3 "Minimal Loss." The way she protected Reid and saved things from inside was so amazing.
Morgan: 7.18 "Foundation." This is when he befriends a victim, a young boy named Angel, who went through a lot of what Morgan went thrugh as a kid. Yes i cry but so what i love soft Morgan
Rossi: 14.8 "Ashley." This is the episode where he proposes to Krystall!! And it makes me so happy and it's great and he deserves happiness i'm so glad he and krystall are both alive and well
Hotch: 10.5 "Boxed In." This is when he meets the drag queen (?) friend of Penelope's and gets the Darth Vader costume for Jack. I love Dad Hotch.
Elle: 1.5 "Broken Mirror." She literally steps on a man. That's all I have to say.
Alex: 8.10 "The Lesson." This is when she has the "why wouldn't she like you?" conversation with Reid
Kate: 10.1 "X." Right from the beginning i loved her. She was so funny and badass and I miss her

"Fuck your online discourse" actually, no, we do think the halloween DID flag shouldn't be used but it's not because of some bullshit like "waah it's just a recolor" it's because the system that created that flag is a huge fucking racist and ableist last we checked, and we never saw ant kind of apology for being racist and ableist to endogenic systems. We never saw them stop being anti-endogenic or anti-Black (because let's be honest, Black endogenic systems specifically would be the ones most affected and hurt by this).
Like, we know people have forgotten by now, but we were THERE just before TPA became a thing, when systems like The Entropy System were fully mask-off in their bigotry (we call anti-endogenics facsists because of the personal experience of having the not-pleasure of seeing shit like the above link lmao), and such other things. We used to be very visible on Twitter as an endogenic system who's seen this shit but it was kind of taking over 99% of our focus when we were working retail instead of working at home, so we ended up tapering it away.
