Idk if you’ve seen this couple but it’s two husbands and one is blind- anyway the not blind one does little pranks on the blind husband and he keeps putting these little penguins everywhere plz I beg I need this with soukoku- the look on Chuuyas face would be so silly!
I do know about them!! They're such a cute couple, I love watching those little pranks, it's so wholesome everytime!
Dazai doing this kind of thing would be hilarious. So this poor Chuuya has been attacked by an army of Odasakuman! Where did he even get all of those...?
Now because i am a very sane person, i obviously did an unnecessarily nice render on this one ahah. Furthermore, here is a version of Chuuya with a golden halo because of the holy fridge in the back. Don't ask. It looked like it would fit and i needed to feed my inner chaos goblin.
And because i am still a very sane person, here is a whole AU idea i came up with because of this one ask. Do you imagine a disabled soukoku AU? That would be great actually. I do picture Chuuya becoming blind because of inner damages due to the use of Corruption. On his side, Dazai was... well, acting like the usual Dazai and by not caring enough about his own body, he lost an arm in the process. He loves to annoy people with his fake arms though.

dazai having to use mobility aids post jail arc is so important
i so so agree with this and I really wish we'd see it but I have a feeling we won't 😭 but I will think about it either way...Kunikida and Kenji rearranging the office to make it easier for Dazai to get around....Dazai is very quietly frustrated about it so Kunikida tries to keep his attempts to help on the down low...Dazai knows they've done this for him but Kunikida is like no no this is for fire safety. and Dazai is like hm.....
Dazai deals with chronic pain for a long time after but he won't admit it. sometimes it's too painful even with the mobility aids and Kunikida is always looking out for him...if someone will ask Dazai to run an errand and he's having a hard time with the pain, Kunikida will always go in his place, even if it messes with his schedule. it's not worth putting him in more pain 💔

Im sorry but the fucking brainrot of chuuya nakahara will not stop so I need to share my fucking vision.
Chuuya Nakahara, who's joints lock up and who has severe chronic pain, who wears gold rimmed reading glasses with little gold chains to help hold them when he's outside the mafia (and thus not wearing contacts to hide his blue-brown eyes), Chuuya who has summer freckles that come out from the sun, who has a wheelchair, cane and service dog respectively just in case that he can never use while on duty, who has heart problems thanks to stress and a god in his body, who has a small clinic outside of Yokohama that knows him by name.
Chuuya Nakahara who, when he figured out that this was happening to him, had a full mental breakdown over being unable to fight properly, and thus not being useful, who then pulled away from Dazai, who never managed to push the right buttons to get him to spill what was happening, leading Dazai to leave the Mafia thinking Chuuya hated him.
Chuuya who then, thanks to this "confirmation" that he wasn't usefull anymore, even if Dazai didn't know, leading him to not open up about this to any other mafia member, with only Mori knowing, and keeping the details even from him.
Dazai who, when in the middle of a case for the ADA, suddenly sees Chuuya rolling down the sidewalk with his wheelchair, freckles and mismatched eyes on full display with his service dog beside him, having his world completely turned on its heal as he falls in love with the same man a second time while simultaneously putting down the pieces that led to his complete misunderstanding of what'd happened between the two years before.
Please tell me there are others who see my vision because this shit is fucking haunting me rn.

Kunikida has hand tremors caused by PTSD
"The hand tremors being a side effect of ptsd rather than strictly from the limits of magical healing is actually soo interesting bc like. yes yosano can heal his body but her ability doesn't work on the mind. so any physical symptoms from something like ptsd are things she simply cannot heal. maybe they'll stop for a bit after a treatment, but they'll always start back up again bc she can't do anything about the root of the problem." Chuuya has Chronic Pain Headcannons
Disclaimer: I do not have chronic pain but I do have HSD (possibly h-eds but that's undiagnosed) which causes me an amount of daily pain, it's just not severe. I have no idea what it is like for people with severe chronic pain so please, correct me if something is inaccurate or harmful.
Chuuya started to have chronic pain after the second time he used corruption. At first, he didn't think the two were related, the pain was very mild and it was only really noticeable when he had been sitting too long or was in a really cold environment. But, after years of repeatedly destroying his body and almost dying, it caught up with him
He doesn't tell anyone but Dazai being Dazai notices very quickly and corners Chuuya into telling him what's going on.
Chuuya gives a very relaxed, downplayed answer but of course, that answer wasn't good enough for his partner.
He has a pretty rough time accepting that he's chronically ill and that he needs to rely on others sometimes.
He is not aware of his limits at all. He really struggles with the concept of 'taking a break' 'self care' and 'just stopping for once omg'. Eventually, he figures out that if he wants to not be in a constant flare he actually has to take care of himself
He drinks to cope. He already was a heavy drinker but this didn't help.
Very few people know about his pain, it is something that can be exploited by the enemy after all. But the people that do know (Kouyou, Akutagawa, Dazai) are generally pretty supportive and know what he wants and needs during a flare up. They also don't make a huge fuss which is deeply appreciated.
Under his black fancy gloves he wears compression gloves.
Typing is a bitch. His fingers and wrists are the first place he feels pain when he is about to enter a flare so it makes all those fine motor tasks difficult.
on the bright side, he can force his paperwork onto Dazai as revenge for making him do all his paperwork when he first joined the Mafia.
Akutagawa is a very unlikely friend when Chuuya is first accepting his chronic pain diagnosis. Aku has been through the whole rodeo with his lung disease so they bond over how isolating the experience can be. They both check in on each other whenever the other is struggling and know exactly what the other needs/wants.
It takes Chuuya a long time to learn how to take care of his body. He loves to refuse help because he doesn't want to be "weak". Eventually, he starts allowing himself to do small things like sitting in the shower or mentioning when he is in a lot of pain. It's a slow progression but progress nonetheless.
He picks up reading as a hobby on his bad pain days
He started a blog where he reviews movies, TV shows and books that he reads during flare ups called 'Chuuya Screams' because he uses speech to text to write most of his posts. He gets very frustrated with bad writing very easily.
