Last month, a Nexus User by the name AnciLove uploaded a V preset on Nexus Mods - now deleted

This preset share similarities with Zwei/Rockergirlfiend's V Whenever this was a bait or not doesn't really matter* (*see the 2022 album for why it doesn't matter)

Rockergirlfriend stepped in to call out the modder on their behavior Followed by MeltingAngels multiple comments on their mods and pictures

ValerieSilverhand decided to step in and report Rockergirlfriend's and MeltingAngels's harassements to NexusMods, using a throw away account

NexusMods are strictly against having multiple accounts; it backfired, resulting in a ban of her main account and the report being made public

ValerieSilverhand made a post on Twitter, sharing her stance against bullying

Multiple people are pointing out the public Nexus report, mentioning how Valerie herself was banned for harassement, which is technically false, the ban being for multiple accounts

I will start by sharing this imgur album, compiling posts from Idylla (@/IdillysSFW) who called out Zwei's behavior back in 2022

Zwei has been harassing people, either actively or passively, for the past 3 years; multiple proofs exist of this despite the fact that Zwei has the habit of deleting her DMs with people

⚠ Biased information / Personal experience Zwei and I used to interact back in 2022 and she often vented in our DMs about people's oc looking "too similar" to her own V for her comfort, often going into their DMs to "confront" them about the "copying" - Again, I do not have proof of it, the DMs being wiped on both sides

Back on topic with the current drama People who know the kind of person she is can be intimidated or scared of what she can do; even if the legal threats and laywers she use are fake, it can still affect someone's mental health greatly

Valerie Silverhand decided to create a throw away account to report Zwei's behavior to NexusMods, in the hope of staying anonymous

As mentioned in the begining of the post, it backfired In NexusMods's moderators eyes, Valerie had 4 accounts, which is strictly against the rules

In February 2024, Valerie created (and since deleted) an account to post this comment on one of BusyVampire mod BusyVampire reported the comment to Nexus In December 2023, her husband (who lives in the same house and share the same IP) posted this comment on one of Adshield mod Adshield reported the comment to Nexus I haven't found anything tied to the DawnJulio9403 account

NexusMods's Moderators, looking at Valerie's IP already being tied to two reported comments, banned her account(s) under the Multiple Accounts Abuse rule

I am not involved in this situation but I choose to speak up about it, to write this post, for multiple reasons

The main reason being to educate/make people aware of Zwei's behavior before they choose to support her/side ""with her"" What is happening to Valerie Silverhand, this harassement from Zwei and her friends, isn't fair

It's easy to follow the loud crowd, especially when they are modders, virtual photographers that people look up to

But it's important to form your own opinion; and for that, it's necessary to know the full picture, to understand why something happened the way it did

We are all humans and we ALL make mistakes

I fully understand how frustrating it is to see someone, who did so much wrong to so many people, being praised, but creating side accounts to leave hateful comments on content you don't like isn't the way to go; use the block button, it's here to help you curate your space

Feeling icked or triggered by someone's OC doesn't give you any right to "claim" a look either; you can NOT harass people because their OC look "too similar" for your own comfort. Nobody owns vanilla CC options, nobody owns makeup or hair colors, and nobody other than Mike Pondsmith himself owns the terms "Rockerboy" and "Rockergirl"; once again, use the block button, curate your space

Despite my own stance and opinion on the matter, I'm not here to tell you who to """believe"""" / """"support"""" / whatever, take everything you see from anyone with a grain of salt

I simply hope this post can help those who are confused right now in what's going on, and to help y'all to form YOUR own opinion with all the informations I have available on the current situation (and I do not know/have access to everything either)

This is your daily reminder that anyone can criticise your favourite show. And disabled people, queer people, mentally ill people, and people from any other minority group are always allowed to criticise representation within your favourite show.

Obviously, a few people from the same minority group will disagree with this criticism. Everyone's gonna have a different opinion - that's great.

But that does not in any way invalidate the original criticism, especially when it's coming from so many people with visible mobility disabilities, survivors of suicide and abuse, and queer people.

That doesn't mean critics think the show is evil and should be destroyed forever. It doesn't mean they think that the show isn't good representation for you, with your specific intersection of representation needs, or that you can't enjoy it - or that you are a bad person for enjoying it.

Critics are allowed to stop supporting the show for future seasons because they dislike the representation, or the writing, or for any other reason. If you are sending anons over something so minimal as someone no longer wanting another season of your favourite show, then, frankly, I suspect you are a literal child. But also, you have a weird cultish relationship with this fandom and should probably step back.

Hell, I'm gonna try and step back, for the sake of my own mental health. I always wind up getting at least one weird anon per fandom, as I am Loud And AnnoyingTM - to the point where I see it as a bit of a badge of pride. Means I'm part of the fandom now, if I'm in deep enough - and noisy enough - to get nonsense. That doesn't particularly bother me.

But I cannot deal with the constant frustration of seeing fellow fans not understanding the very basic concept of 'a stranger on the internet can love this show, but still be disappointed in it and criticise it, and that is not an attack on me, personally'.

I encourage you to love the show! I love that you love it! I still somewhat love it, and I certainly love to criticise it! Criticism is just another form of interaction with a piece of media, and one that is integral to any fandom! It's not a threat to you or your appreciation of the show!

What becomes problematic is when you mock criticism, especially when it's coming from a whole bunch of marginalised voices.

Why are you being so aggressive about decrying everyone who complains as 'overemotional' and 'hysterical'? Why are you trying so hard to minimise and misinterpret the opinions of visibly physically disabled people who have struggled a lot with their disability, when invisible disability rep and casual positive disability rep are no less important but entirely different sorts of representation?

If you disagree, maybe just have some empathy and let marginalised people speak? Why are you so determined to die on the hill of defending a TV show from any and all criticism?

Which is all to say:

Your fandom is not exempt from criticism. Yes, you are still allowed to love your blorbos and your show. This is pretty fucking basic Fandom 101.

Tbh the most surprising unprecedented and groundbreaking event of this year's esc is that all my favorite songs made it pass the first semifinals. That's never going to happen again btw

me whenever something irl inconveniences me: ok time to change up everything online.

anyway making another long post because i’ve realised it’s coming up to 2023 and even though im a month early, im still plagued by the idea that a lot of my mutuals and i have been sitting just staring at each other across the dash like the li who’s route your on and the otome protag when you’re in the early stages without saying so much of a word to each other.

1.) ive been ... lowkey worried that the muse list i have is extremely long and therefore has made it difficult for people to reach out or simply pick the muses they want to write for the common fear that grips people when it comes down to it: picking a muse that they worry the multi didnt want to write with them. truthfully, know that whatever muse you’d pick, you’d never upset me. its the main reason why i have never, ever really picked any ‘primary’ / ‘main’ muses for this blog. however, in hopes that it does encourage people to pick the muses they want, or more importantly, don’t want to interact with at this moment in time. i’ve come up with a list of two muses who i will now try my best to default to if my mutuals pick to a fandom level, in hopes that if there is another(!) muse a mutual are far more interested in, they may feel more confident to pick so! these are as follows:

2.) i really need to be more open to giving out more in general. it’s probably my biggest flaw when it comes to rp, but i get caught up in my own fear of picking the wrong muse, thinking that i’m replying too late to people or simply just burying myself in drafts without thinking that people would like to plot / discuss / develop things out of whatever we’ve written together. to try my best(!) to conquer that, i’m implementing the way i’ve gone about things with my other blog. where if i do see a meme i think is suitable, i’ll send one in from a muse or two. no qualms if you’re not feeling up to replying about it or just don’t want to write with that particular muse. i’ll try sending one or two, but if recieving no reply will stop until because i don’t want to bombard anyone at all. i’m also going to take my time to reply to a lot of outstanding messages i have, unless the blogs archived / inactive. i’ve left a lot of people on read for a long time, so if you’re not feeling up to replying or continuing either, don’t feel pressured to. this includes discord, which means if you do wish to add me and continue something there, you can add me under: jupiter!#5567

3.) which ... the last point leads me into the big hole i find myself stuck in the most with this blog. this year i told myself would be the year i would be more proactive with confirming / asking if people wanted to pursue a ship ... but i def feel i have a couple of dynamics ive left in the entire will they / wont they bucket. and they’re ships i think i could definitely settle for as per my rules. if you do want to ship something, dont be afraid to let me know because i think, looking at it clearly, i probably ship it too ... otherwise, i am going to try my best to handle that fear of overstepping my boundaries where questioning where appropriate. the not knowing is fun but i am also so nervous in it if my muses become too flirtatious / interested in the process.

i know the quest of educating people never ends, but it does kind of bum me out that even in the year of 2023 we need to go out of our way to explain the simplest concepts to people. “you should give a fuck that a whole country is being genocided” seems like a relatively easy to understand sentiment, and yet you will still have people out there coming up w a thousand and one reasons for why it’s none of their concern. it blows my mind every fucking time. we really do need to teach people to care about other people and that is insane to me. like what basic human rights do you need to be spoon fed next??? should we also be pointing out that poor people are also people

i talked about this a tiny bit on twitter but the mario kart video on smii7y's main channel had a racist joke that has probably burst the bubble for me.

look, i understand that that group has a dark humour type thing. a lot of the bits are dark and i truly don't mind it most of the time! but this time it just wasn't funny.

the joke went like this (from the top of my head i don't want to watch it again):

tokyo blur being chosen as a map for the race. and then soup saying something like tokyo blur insert joke here and other people in the lobby being like say the joke/what's the joke

and soup elaborating and saying soemthing ti the effect of if my eyes were like that everything would be a tokyo blur

and like i didn't get it at first ? people in the lobby laughed but i didn't get it.

until smii7y says oh you know soup pulled his eyes back for that one

and it clicked tht i really just. i don't know. it wasn't funny. it was just racist. that was just a racist comment.

Releasing Nimona on the last day of pride month 2023 was such a great move because it’s a really needed piece of media right now. Lots of countries that legalised gay marriage years ago have been grappling with this rising TERF narrative of “if you’re gay it’s whatever but if you’re trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming in some way you’re a PERVERT! A MONSTER trying to GROOM CHILDREN!” The outrage against simple things like pronouns and drag events, and the movement against gender affirming healthcare have reached a terrifying peaks for contemporary times.

So a kid’s movie set in a fictional country with controlling government officials with personal agendas, with an openly gay couple but also a shape-shifting kid who cannot even be afford to be out is our reality in the US today. Nimona’s feelings about her vibe, body and form, her insistence that she is only “Nimona” no matter what she looks like and her aversion to “small-minded questions” together forms such a beautiful allegory about trans, genderfluid individuals.

Ballister asks her to be a girl, but for whose sake? It’s only for the comfort of people who refuse to understand her, and would rather see her die than let her be herself. And it’s this widespread rejection and loneliness that has eventually made Nimona indifferent to pain, that makes her feel suicidal.

In the end, it is another member of the LGBTQ+ community that truly sees and accepts Nimona for who she is. And that should be a reminder that we cannot let them divide us. Trans people stood up for the rest of us and made historical change happen, and we need to do the same for them. Besides, cis queer people are only the “good ones” until they’re done with trans people and then will turn on us.

I'm going into 2023 with the next goals and fuck my life if I don't achieve them :

- Find someone to go with me to the Palaye Royale's concert and fucking have fun at my first concert ever

- Buy my own place cuz staying with rent is shitty and makes me wanna d i e

- FINALLY meet with my "too busy with life" friends because I'm a lonely bitch and the last thing I want is to have my ex as the only friend available in my life

- Buy at least one more plushie (cuz this year I tried to stop myself from getting them and now I'm sad)

#the fact that only one of them is reasonably accessible is fucking sad #I lowkey wanna have more friends too. Put me out there yk? BOYCOTT EUROVISION FOR ISRAEL PARTICIPATION.

I am the Eurovision gay this time of year, I love this show. Not only is my country hosting 2024 but it's also in a city I love, but I can't watch as people sing about peace and love while Palestinians are getting killed by one of the participants.

I've complied a couple of petitions, open letters and information regarding Eurovision: Eurovision isn't the highest priority regarding Gaza, but this show is marketing & tourism for countries, Israel is using it to pink wash their politics

According to SVT, Swedish television network in charge of Eurovision 2024 in Sweden Malmö, Eurovision is apolitical, and therefore Israel qualify. They refer to any calls for boycott meaningless ( via )

Eurovision has always been political, and was created as a celebration of peace after WW2. Songs are statements, and EBU took action by banning Russia and Belarus for the invasion of Ukraine. It's a way to show sympathy and solidarity, which Gaza is in need of now.

Why Eurovision is so important to Israel is the opportunity of pink washing, and appearing liberal and LGBTQ-friendly, that the show encourages. This leads to great marketing and tourism for the country, alqueerian on twitter did a great thread about it:

Yes this was not on my personal bingo card; my most recent Big Dog event was that a friend of mine works for air traffic control and recently had to delay BoJo's holiday flight by four hours, and on being told that this particular plane had to be prioritised for a runway slot because it contained an Important Clown promptly pushed it to the bottom of the priority list. Lol. And then all this! What larks.

Okay not a lot of detail yet still but LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THE EVENTS OF 9TH JUNE, 2023 and you know what? It's been a while. Let's do it properly.

Another day dawns in the reign of evil Grand Vizier-turned-PM Rishi Sunak. He's a very boring flavour of evil, tbh. Say what you will about Johnson, but at least there was spectacle and showmanship to his clownshow. Something for the children to boo and hiss. An animate ham in a villain's wig, something to really enjoy as you sit back, relax, and savour a tall, cool glass of schadenfreude.

By contrast Rishi just gets sycophants - who are no less ridiculous, but far more grey and boring - who pretend he's a tech bro because "he understands AI" and they think that will make him a visionary and a man of the future and maybe some sort of Elon Musk figure, because that's obviously a smashing template to be copied in a leader of a country.

This briefing was presumably drafted using ChatGPT.

Anyway, this is what we thought the day would be: another dreary overcast washout, livened up by Downing Street's latest attempt at making Sunak seem like a good idea to stave off the hulking spectre of Labour's inevitable GE win next year. How trite. How tedious. How mediocre.

What a shame it would be if... something were to liven it up.

Fun fact!

When a PM's term ends, as their last act in office, they get to present an Honours List. This means they write a list of all the people they reckon have been Jolly Good Sorts who have done Good Clowning and Supported The Community, and nominate those people for honours. Honours here can be anything from an MBE/OBE etc, to a Damehood/Knighthood, all the way up to entering the Peerage i.e. becoming a Lord. Traditionally, people have been fairly reasonable with these lists. Apart from anything else, the outgoing PM can only write the list - the new Prime Minister has to sign off on it, and it's usually the case, of course, that PMs are deposed by the opposition party.

Why am I mentioning this? Well: Boris, you see, has now presented his list to Sunak to validate. You may be unsurprised to learn that it contains quite a lot of clowns.

Another fun fact!

If a sitting MP is given a Peerage, they cannot continue to be an MP. MPs are elected. Lords are not. So an MP offered a lordship right now would have to stand down if they accepted, triggering a by-election in their seat that... well. That anyone could win, couldn't they? Ordinarily. Except Labour's shadow is growing, isn't it? I don't suppose Sunak would be all that happy about losing, for example, any Tory MPs nominated for a peerage right now.

What fun facts.

At 8.39am, Politics UK reveals an as-yet-unverified report that Nadine Dorries and Alok Sharma have been removed from Boris Johnson's honours list, and will go back to vetting.

(They also reveal that Big Dog's dad has been removed from the list, because nominating your dad for a Peerage is "inappropriate". Sorry, Bigger Dog. Apparently even corrupt ghoul Rishi Sunak has a limit to what open corruption he will allow, which is news to us all, most of all Rishi.)
