How did these ladies tell their S/Os that they are pregnant ( MCU )
. Pepper :
Around 2 months after rhe events of Infinity War, Pepper comes home with a new special mug set
Tony : Hey, baby! What's wirh the smiles - OH * froze and sees a new ' New Parents ' mugs that Pepper got on the way home *
Tony :.......We're pregnant? As in YOU are carrying our kid?
Pepper : * smiles * Just went to the doctor's and bought myself these mugs near the hospital.
Tony : * laughs, runs up to Pepper and showers her with kisses *
And for the next 9 months, Tony basically often insists he helps her with anything she needs ( even at times the most miniscule of tasks, yet Pepper at tomes reaffirms him she can do these by herself )
And on April 8th 2019 Morgan is born
🤩🤩🥺🥺🥺🥺
. Laura ( Imma just do Laura's first kid here ) :
Okay so around 6 months after they got married, back in 2001 ( Laura and her kiss got snapped for 5 years, okay )
So Clint is on some mission in Istanbul with several other agents
And then as he was boarding the mission plane back to New York, a medic told Clint that she got an email from Laura that Laura is pregnant
Cue Clint literally rushing to call Laura on the plane ( vis plane phone for confirmation and he was SHAKING with joy and nervousness at the confirmation )
And then at the NY Airport, Clint immediately rushes to Laura ( who was waiting for him at that air port ) and hugged her and whispered, ' I missed you and our kid, honey....', and Laura just smiled and kissed him on the lips 🤯🤯🤯🥺🥺🥺
And then on Sept 2002 Cooper Barton is born
. Nakia :
It was actually 2 months before Infinity War, and then Bucky actually helped with the announcement
Basically T'Challa was led to a goat sitting viewing by Shuri ( who also helped with the plan ) and then the Wakandan Royal Family got a group photoshoot done by Bucky
And after 3 2 1, Nakia shouts, in Xhosa, ' IM PREGNANT!! '
The entire photo group froze
And T'Challa looks at his wife for confirmation
Nakia smiled sheepishly and just showed the rest a confirmation slip on it
Cue emotional cheers and tears are exchanged around
. Hildegund : Okay basically one autumn morning in Asgard, she gifted Volstagg a special maroon wool cloak knitted ' New Dad ' in Norse on it. It was a Harvesr festival gift
Anyway, Volstagg starts blubbering at the confirmation and hugs his wife tight and kisses all over her face
And on a summer after that their Triplets are born
🤯🤯🤯🥺🥺🥺
. Anneli/Grace : Sometime before Thor 3, Anneli/Grace decided to surprise her husband Heimdall with a special gift. It's a Nordic Easter gift and she gifted her husband a pair of Asgardian baby boots ( of yellow color with wings )
Heimdall froze at receiving that gift, and then he beamed wildly at the confirmation
Cue the pair be all happy and emotional and talking about parenting and nursery related matters for the rest of the breakfast
How did Sigyn tell Loki she is pregnant with their twin boys :
. Okay so actually it was one morning in that March,
Loki and Sigyn are having breakfast in bed together at their room at Time Imperial Palace,
Sigyn actually had some staff prepare for a blueberry pie that has engravings of ' We're pregnant! ' on it
. And then Loki sees and just.....froze.
. He looks up to his wife, who just nods and smiles at him
. Loki : * slightly shaking from joy and nervousness as he held her hands * You are carrying our child.
Sigyn : * mods and smiles * Yes
Loki : We are going to be parents.
Sigyn : * beams * Yes
Loki : * gingerly played his hands onto her belly and kisses her on the lips *
. And then Sigyn shows Loki the confirmation of her pregnancy test she got from a Time Imperial doctor last night ( she planned for that birthday surprise )
. And then ofc Loki and Sigyn spent the rest of the breakfast talking about parenting and nursery plans and such
🤩🤩🤩🤩🥺🥺
. Oh and they ofc enjoyed that blueberry pie
🤩🤩🥺🥺🥺

Laura: I know! I know!
Hill: You know?

𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙅𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨
Pairing: past Clint Barton x Reader
Summary: You never expected your ex to move on so quickly, but when the holidays come around you’re forced to face the truth.
Warnings: parties, drinking, mention of death, relationship that didn’t work out (yes it is Clint and you), jealous reader, bitter reader, reader is the grinch for real for real, background sambucky, and Christmas.
Tumblr media
Every year on the 15th of December, Tony Stark had his Christmas party. And ever since you became an Avenger in 2012, your attendance to said party had become mandatory.
You genuinely had to die to get out of going. You hadn’t ever really disliked this party until 2014. When everything in your life basically began to crash and burn.
You leaned against the railing, watching the party from above. You sipped on a whiskey, the burning sensation distracting you from your misery.
“I knew he’d be quick to move on, but I didn’t know he’d have a fuckin’ marriage.” You grumbled bitterly, as Kate Bishop walked up beside you. She had a black suit on, and she looked pretty damn good.
You weren’t interested in her like that, she was twenty two and you were well into your thirties, soon to be forties. It wasn’t the worst age gap, but it didn’t feel right for you.
“At least he’s happy?” She tried to inspire some kind of enthusiasm in you.
You just huffed out a laugh.
It wasn’t hard to identify the Avengers in the crowds; Bucky and Sam were obviously flirting with each other yet were somehow oblivious to it in the corner, Steve and Nat were having a drinking competition, Thor was entertaining a crowd of young women, and everyone else was off doing other time-wasting bullshit.
“He has kids, too.” Kate said after a moment.
“Gee, thanks for reminding me. Can’t believe I forgot.” You looked down in your glass, swirling the liquid around before taking a drink.
“Sorry.” She muttered.
“Why are you wasting time up here, with me? Don’t you have Nat’s sister to flirt with?”
“What? No—she doesn’t look at me like that. I mean—I don’t think she does—do you think she does?—I kinda hope she does—does she?” She sputtered out.
“…Right. Anyway, you’re too young to be hiding on a balcony at an infamous Stark Party. Go have fun.” You glanced at her, proving your earnestness.
“You’re sure?” She blinked at you.
“Go, Bishop. Have fun.”
She smiled, before walking to the staircase that lead down to the main party floor. You watched her go, before going back to your people-watching.
“A wife.” You muttered darkly, grumbling to yourself. “I bet he doesn’t even treat her right. I could do better, and I don’t even have one wife.”
You glared daggers at the woman. Lauren. Lylah? Lorelei? Lafayette? Something like that.
She was laughing, sipping on a glass of champagne. You scowled at the sight. She was clearly a few years younger than the two of you.
Once your whiskey glass emptied, you realized you had to walk back down to the main floor to get another.
And so you did, attempting to avoid any type of social interaction. And you made it all the way to the bar before you made a terrible timing mistake.
Standing right beside you was your ex-boyfriend, dressed in a leather jacket and a shirt, paired with a belt and some jeans. They were nice clothes, so that he didn’t look out of place at the fancy party.
“L/n,” he coughed awkwardly.
“Barton.” You replied, your tone short and clipped.
You stood together in awkward silence for a few moments as you waited for your own respective drinks.
“It’s good to see you,” he said after a moment, “you look good.”
“Mm. You don’t look so bad yourself.” You said, just to be polite.
You got your drink first. “Be a dear and do me a favor?” You glanced at him.
“Yeah?” He nodded his head, quite eagerly.
“Kiss her once for me. Make it passionate; prove you didn’t use all your good ones on me.” You walked away, the sound of your shoes hitting the floor being the only noise you could focus on.
He didn’t call out for you, nor could you hear him say anything afterward.
Later that evening, you watched as he kissed her gently on the lips under the mistletoe. You laughed drily, taking another swig of whiskey. Maybe he had no more good ones left.

A/n: first time (I think) I’ve written for Clint! Also, I didn’t want to have too much fluff in these 12 days, so expect a little angst in there every so often!

Happy Christmas, I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying "I love you", I meant it Now I know what a fool I've been
But if you kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again

Imagine Laura and Clint having a nice moment to themselves. The cozy mood of a winter day, the house is free for at least a few hours, they're both on the same wavelengths. But then, in the heat of the moment, Laura compliments his badass tattoo sleeve a bit too much...
...next thing she knows, she's spending half an hour calming Clint down from his "I was a weapon!!" breakdown

Merry Christmas
Summary: On Christmas morning, Clint and Laura have a rather unexpected surprise for Lila, Nate, and Cooper. However, it's a more than welcome one.
Word Count: 1467
A/N: It's not quite Christmas yet, but I honestly could not wait until Christmas to post this, lol 🤣💗💗💗 I know it is a little short, but I could not think of much of a plot, and I just wanted to write out this little slice of life thing. Or sort of a slice of life. Idk what it's called 🤣
I hope you enjoy! 🥰
Clint smiled as he hurried up the stairs, getting ready to wake up the kids for Christmas morning. They were miraculously somehow still asleep, and Clint had for once in his entire life woken up before them. And given the surprise he had downstairs, he could not hardly wait to get them up.
Laura was awake as well, but she was in the bedroom doing something, and Clint leaned in the doorway.
“We’re ready,” he told her, and Laura nodded as she headed to Lila’s room to get her up. Clint headed to Nate’s first, getting him up.
“Hey, bud, let’s get up. Come on,” Clint told him as he gently squeezed his shoulder, trying to wake the boy up. He stirred after a short moment, looking at Clint in confusion. However, after only a split second, he seemed to remember what day it was, and he grinned widely, looking far more awake.
“I got a cool surprise, so let’s get going and wake up your brother,” Clint told him, and Nate instantly jumped out of the bed, yelling as he ran for Cooper’s room. Clint chuckled, knowing that Cooper was doubtlessly going to be less than appreciative of the wake-up call.
As Clint headed out the door, he realized Lila was up with Laura waiting on the boys. He smiled at her, opening his arm as he pulled her into his side, kissing her head.
“Morning, sweetheart,” he greeted, and Lila just smiled widely hugging him back with a mumbled reply.
“Got a surprise downstairs that I think you’re going to really love,” Clint whispered, and she furrowed her brow, pulling away just enough to meet his eyes. She was utterly confused as she tried to piece it together, and he could not help a chuckle at his wonderful daughter.
“What is it?” Lila questioned, and Clint grinned, starting to answer but Laura beat him to it.
“You’ll see if your brothers hurry it up,” Laura raised her voice pointedly as she looked in the direction of Cooper’s room where Nate was jumping on the bed and driving him crazy in an attempt to wake him up.
“I’m getting up, I’m getting up,” Cooper complained aloud as he dragged himself out of bed. However, despite his bellyaching, he did hurry into the hall. Once they were all three standing there, Clint grinned at the kids.
“Well? What are you waiting for? Get down there,” he told them, ushering them along, and they wasted no time in running down the stairs. The group of them sounded like an entire herd, and Clint headed down the stairs with Laura, the both of them laughing softly at the children’s enthusiasm.
All of the kids rushed down the stairs, making their way to the living room. However, as soon as they reached the bottom of the stairs, they froze quickly as their eyes widened, looking at the Christmas tree in shock.
There below the tree was Natasha and Yelena sitting down on the floor, a bow on Natasha’s head and one stuck on Yelena’s nose. Kate was also there, sitting on the couch as she watched them with a wide grin.
“Merry Christmas,” Natasha greeted them with a wide smile, and Yelena waggled her eyebrows in an attempt to make Nate laugh.
As soon as Natasha spoke, they all broke out of their surprise, hurrying over to greet their aunts.
Natasha opened her arms, gladly catching Lila as she hurriedly got on her knees and practically ploughed over Natasha. Cooper stood a bit to the side, still in that awkward phase between adulthood and childhood where he did not know how to exactly handle situations like this.
However, Nate ran to Yelena instantly, jumping for her and wrapping his arms around her neck. Yelena grinned widely, laughing as she hugged him tightly.
“Auntie Lena!” he cried excitedly, and Yelena felt the emotion welling in her chest against her will as she felt the love radiating off of him.
“Hey, myshka! Merry Christmas!” Yelena greeted, trying to overcome the momentary feelings taking over her. After a moment of him squeezing the life out of her, he fell back in her lap. She chuckled happily as he took the bow off of her nose. She then rubbed her nose against his before pulling back and looking up at Cooper accusingly.
“What are you doing, Cooper Scooper?! Get down here!” Yelena told him, grinning widely as she opened an arm, and Cooper just grinned awkwardly but quickly bent down to hug her, getting down in the floor with them.
“Come here, Nate. Quit giving Yelena all my love,” Natasha scolded playfully as she grabbed him and dragged him over into her own lap, placing her hands on his cheeks and playfully squishing them together as she greeted him. He laughed joyously, far too pleased with himself.
Lila then shifted over to Yelena, and Yelena finally released Cooper, opening her arms as she hugged the younger girl. There was still a bit of hesitance, but not nearly as much as there used to be.
Yelena’s secret hesitance and slight trepidation around younger girls and even girls her age was slowly stating to melt away, and honestly, Lila had been a big part in taking those emotions away. Even Kate had played a role, as much as Yelena would not ever dare to admit it. And of course, Carol, too. Carol was one of her favorites out of all of the non-Natashas that she knew.
“Hey, Aunt Lena,” Lila greeted, squeezing her tightly, and Yelena smiled warmly, hugging her back as she closed her eyes.
“Hey, kid,” she whispered, patting her on the back before releasing her finally. Lila smiled at her, her eyes sparkling. Natasha called Cooper over and he moved in next to her so that she could wrap her arms around the two boys.
“These are my boys,” Natasha declared as she squeezed them both tightly, giving Cooper a kiss to his cheek despite his halfhearted protests. One could easily see that he truly was pleased with the affection.
Clint and Laura approached the doorway, looking in at them. Kate grinned back at Clint, pleased at the sight of everyone having so much fun despite the fact that she was not sure how to insert herself.
However, before long, the kids inserted Kate for her.
“Kate, hi!” Lila greeted, moving over to hug her. Cooper was instantly paying attention as he fully realized that Kate was there. While Kate was pleased to be included, she was not quite sure that she wanted the attention that Cooper was offering. Therefore, she paid more attention to Lila, offering a big grin and hugging her in return.
“Hey, girl! Merry Christmas!” Kate wished sweetly as she moved her hot chocolate over to the table.
“I was hoping you might come for Christmas!” Lila told her, and Kate could not help the warmth spreading through her.
“Aww… I’m really glad I got to be here!” Kate expressed as she released her, and Nate hurried over as he climbed onto her lap and in her arms.
“Kate!” he cried, and Kate smiled widely, unable to help being just as excited as he was. His energy was infectious.
“Nate!” she replied with just as much enthusiasm, and he laughed joyfully. Lila moved to sit next to Kate, and Nate was smiling widely as he looked at the brunette, his hands on her shoulders.
“We rhyme!” he declared, and even though it was something he pointed out every time Kate came to visit, Kate still found it adorable every single time.
Cooper then approached after Lila and Nate. He had a shy smile on his face, and as sweet as he was, Kate was not about to go for it.
“Hey, Kate,” he told her, and Kate nodded to him, mustering a somewhat forced smile.
“Hey, Cooper,” she replied, attempting to keep a smile on her face.
Sensing the tension and Kate’s uncomfortableness, Laura elbowed Clint lightly, trying to get him to do something about it. Clint had noticed it as well, but he honestly had been enjoying it quite a bit and found it to be quite humorous. However, at Laura’s urging, he finally called out to the group.
“Alright, who wants to open presents?” Clint spoke up, and the kids instantly were in agreement. Natasha and Yelena stood up, heading over to the couch as Lila moved to the Christmas tree. Natasha took a seat next to Kate, and Yelena sat on the other side of Natasha.
Clint and Laura took a seat, and Clint smiled softly as he looked at his amazing family and finally met eyes with Natasha.
Even though they were unconventional, they were perfect, and he would not have it any other way.

When he steps away, his shoe leaves an imprint on Matt's skin.
She wants to kill him.
But, even as Clint starts yelling again, she doesn't react. She does nothing.
"You seem very concerned for this man I found in your home," the man tells him, utterly calm. "I must admit I have no idea who he is."
Interesting, Natasha thinks. They likely had the location of Clint's home and nothing else.
"He's my brother-in-law," Clint says immediately and without hesitation.
It isn't, technically, a lie. The two of them are like siblings, after all.

Day 11: Brucenat on holiday with the Bartons
“Bruce!” Natasha called. She was tugging on her shoes, hair falling into her face, when she collided with her husband. She laughed as he steadied her. “Hey.”
Bruce smiled at her. “What did you call me for?” he asked.
“We are going to be late,” Nat reminded him. “Not that Clint or Laura cares, but the kids do, so–” she looked up and fastened her scarf around her neck. “It’s Christmas.”
“Yeah.” Bruce stood by the door. “I’ve got Bob and everything in the jet. It’s warmed up. We are going to the mountain house, where we’re meeting our proteges, the Barton family, and Clint’s protege, plus Yelena. Sounds like it?”
“Yes.” Natasha drew her scientist in for a kiss before leading them outside and locking the door. “Let’s go.”
-
The two (plus their dog, Bob) arrived at the house in the mountains that Tony gave them a few years ago. It was a huge log cabin-esque mansion complete with a frozen-over lake in the back, whether for swimming in the summer or skating in the winter.
Every time Natasha went there, she had to stop herself from pausing to marvel at the place before her. It really was a beautiful house, especially with the snow blanketing the building and the fairy lights twinkling in the early sunset.
Natasha grabbed her bags as she smiled at the Hulk’s short visit out to help haul in the presents. To think this would all have been impossible at some point… she shook her head and went inside.
“Natasha!” Laura smiled as she greeted her friend. “I missed you. Can I grab your bags?”
“Ha. No.” Nat rolled her eyes as she navigated her way up the stairs. “Our usual room?”
“Yep.” Laura followed her up. “You and Bruce are in the yellow room. Clint and I are taking the white one, Kate and Yelena are taking the purple one with Lila, Nate and Cooper are sharing the green room, and Peter and MJ are taking the blue room.”
Natasha glanced at Laura with a smile. “Those two are rooming now? A big step,” she commented.
“Yeah,” her friend agreed. “And to think they used to be squeamish about hugging each other.”
“Now they’re sharing a bed.” Nat sighed. “We are getting old.”
“Oh, come one, Nat,” Laura said. “I’m so much older than you. You’re what, 40? I’m 57! You’re not even the age I had Nate!”
Natasha sighed, toting her bags through the doorway. “Fine, Mom,” she muttered.
“Nat!”
She turned and grinned at her friend. “Yes, Mom?”
Laura threw up her hands. “I give up.” She walked out to the hallway as Natasha followed her. “You’re impossible.”
Natasha grinned and hooked her arm through her friend’s. Once she got downstairs, she was immediately ambushed by Nathaniel Barton, who was being pursued by his two siblings, Lila, and Cooper.
“Dad’s making cookies,” Lila informed Natasha. “Kate and Yelena are in there probably hogging all the good ones so we just came here to say hi. Now we have to go.” She tapped Nate, who was still hugging Nat, to get him to release his godmother and return to the cookies.
Nat watched them go. “Are our MIT students here yet?” she asked Laura as they went into the living room.
“Oh, no.” Laura shook her head. “They phoned ahead, said that they had to finish up their stuff. They’ll be here in an hour or so.”
Natasha shifted to face her friend on the couch. “Hey, thanks for inviting us.”
“It’s your house, Nat.” Laura laughed.
“Yeah, but still.”
Natasha’s gaze drifted to the huge tree in the foyer, where Bruce was lying on the floor next to a pile of presents. She went over to her husband and squatted down beside him. “Hey, doc,” she teased.
Bruce chuckled lightly. “Hi.” He sat up. “Back problems.”
She smiled and sat down next to him. “Peter and MJ aren’t here yet.”
“Sad, I was hoping to see them before the Hawkeye family demolishes all the cookies.”
An hour later, Natasha and Bruce were jolted awake by the students they were talking about.
“Hey, Ms. Romanoff,” MJ said with a smile. She looked over to Peter, who was in a rapid discussion with Nate about… something. “Peter, come back here.”
He finished his conversation with Nathaniel and walked over, slinging an arm around his girlfriend, the other hand holding a mug of hot chocolate. “Ms. Romanoff, Dr. Banner,” he greeted happily. “Nice nap?”
Natasha rolled her eyes and helped Bruce get up. “Are you two sleeping together?” she asked the couple.
Peter choked on his drink. “What– no–” he spluttered. “Of course not!”
MJ frowned at him. “You make it sound like a bad thing,” she said.
“MJ–”
“I meant sharing a room,” Natasha interjected. She saw the relief on Peter’s face. “Relax.”
He smiled nervously. “Right.”
Bruce took Nat’s hand gently and guided her to the living room. “Let’s sit down and catch up,” he suggested.
The four of them sat down on the couch.
“So how’s MIT treating the two of you?” the scientist asked. “Everything going well?”
Peter glanced at MJ, who nodded. “Yeah, yeah, everything’s been great.”
“Just…” MJ shrugged. “Exams.”
“Right,” Bruce replied.
Kate came running in. “Clint’s getting chased down by Yelena!” she yelled. She ran out the other way as Clint himself came rushing in.
He had a look of panic on his face as he addressed Natasha. “Nat, your sister’s crazy.”
“I know,” she replied.
Yelena jumped Clint out of nowhere. “More cookies,” she demanded. “Now.”
“They’re in the oven!” he yelped. “Just wait a bit!”
Kate stuck her head back in. “You were just going to put siracha on it anyways, ‘Lena.” She laughed.
Yelena frowned. “And?”
“Never mind.”
“Dad!” Lila’s voice came through from the kitchen. “Cooper stole my bow!”
“Coming!” Clint huffed as Yelena let go of him. He jogged slowly back into the kitchen.
Laura passed her husband as he left the room. “Anyone want more hot chocolate?” she asked with a smile, even as one of her children screamed and a fire erupted in the kitchen behind her. “We have cinnamon and nutmeg if you want to add stuff. No peppermint though,” she added.
“Clint Barton, the cookies are burning!” Yelena yelled.
“I don’t care anymore!” said the grown man.
“Care or I will make you care, you arrow-toting mudak!”
“You beat me up last year!”
“Take the cookies out or I will do it again, Barton!”
Natasha sighed. “Never a dull moment here, huh?” she said.
Laura smiled. “Nope.”

Pas de Deux
Following some vague intelligence from an Eastern European operative, S.H.I.E.L.D. send Clint Barton to a local ballet to find out more. His investigations lead him into the path of principal dancer, Laura, who helps uncover the mystery, and it goes about as well as these things always go. [Claura, canon universe but not compliant]
The second door opens out into the studio itself, a long room with one mirrored wall, barred and lacquered floor. It looks remarkably well-kept considering the rest of the building. There hadn’t even been signage. It’s airy, well-lit with the hum of the fluorescent lights, and it is also not empty.
Though she has a pair of headphones over her ears, and a little cassette player somehow affixed to her waistband, the door must have creaked enough that she drops from her stretch and turns to face him. She pulls the headphones from her ears, rests them around her neck, and digs a fist into one jutted hip, and she’s – she’s – she’s –
Fuck.
‘Can I help you?’ she asks, looks him up and down, and Clint Barton finds himself swallowing, too loud even to his own half-deaf aids.
She’s beautiful. Oh shit, she’s beautiful.
