Since Daredevil and Clint's Ronin were active at the same time, I'm thinking about meeting possibilities

feeling feelings about clint recognizing wanda and pietro for what they were in aou: kids. he calls them punks, sure, but not terrorists, not hydra, not villains. kids who were manipulated and weaponized. something something parallels to maya and “you and me, we’re the same. weapons”

I don’t think that revealing Laura to be a former agent took away from her characteristic of being normal person in relationship with the Avenger. If Clint is known for being this normal guy with bow who hangs with superheroes, I think Laura and her past career still passes as ordinary.

If she really did retire long time ago as Clint stated (maybe when she was expecting her first child), then she already has plenty of experience of being a civilian away from all those world-ending events happening. Ex-agent or not, these parent-teacher conferences won't attend themselves. Looking at the age of kids, she might have been retired from SHIELD for almost a decade before Battle of New York in 2012, which was first big thing normal people living inside MCU got to witness, and even that didn’t affect her everyday life away from danger.

Laura left the life of agent and learnt to live a different one, and with that experience, she can help Clint adapt to the retirement as well (if the universe ever lets him rest, that is).

The fact that Clint just brings people home and introduces them to his family and Laura's all "hi, I'm Laura and here's your room" is my favorite thing about the Barton family.

Laura immediately hugging Kate because she's important to Clint so she's important to Laura so she's part of the family now just made my heart melt.

A little weird that everyone assumes that Laura Barton possibly being Agent 19 makes her Mockingbird, and also therefore means that AoS is officially not canon. Not really any proof that Agent 19 in the MCU and Mockingbird are the same person, as AoS’s Mockingbird was never associated with that number, at least that I’m aware of. Laura Barton’s name is also not Bobbi Morse, so unless she changed her name or if she’s ever actually referred to as Mockingbird, that number alone doesn’t really prove anything.

Laura as Agent 19 thoughts: 

Laura and Clint as young agents in their mid twenties, relentlessly flirting with each other and showing off for one another and making everyone else sick with how disgustingly smitten with each other they are (but also everyone thinking, agents dating each other never works, it’s doomed. And now 25 years later Clint and Laura are still going strong).

And when she and Clint decide to get married, Laura– this talented capable young agent– just decides that she doesn’t actually want to be a spy anymore. That what she actually wants is to be a wife and a mother and live somewhere quiet. And so to everyone’s shock she just… does that. Not because she’s driven into hiding or because she can’t cut it or because anyone is forcing her to. Just because that’s what she wants. And she never regrets it.
