Proceeding with the traditional bow, you bent at the waist before going lower as you noticed Taecyeon go lower before he eventually dropped to his stomach and simply laid on the ground.

He rose and immediately wasted no time in pulling you close, kissing you gently, pulling away only to whisper something into your ear.

“I can’t wait to spend forever with you,” he smiled.

I would not recommend this drama to my friends. I would not rewatch this drama.

I love Manager No. Could use a father figure like him. I like the Hyun Joong Yoo Na love line. I love how outlandish some of Man Wol's outfits are at times. Wow IU looked great in that black dress when she invites Mi Ra to the hotel. I think Sanchez is a great guy. Sun Bi looking for the child while holding ice cream and calling out, "아가" is cute to me. I love the acting range in IU in the scene where she's like you could've pointed at any star and I wouldn't have corrected you. I love how much of a foodie Man Wol is. I enjoyed Kim Sunbi and Man Wol's last goodbye to each other. What a good last farewell look from Man Wol on the bridge.

Sign me up for the Hotel Del Luna after I die. You do not have to kiss someone to distract them. Can you imagine someone you know being a serial killer? What's it like to be in love with a ghost? What's it like to know that Yoo Na's lover is actually physically in love with the girl who killed her.

Seol Jiwon is a piece of trash. Can you imagine having a ghost like that live amongst us?

Having a Taeyeon song for an IU drama is so fitting. I know it's different, but the ending gives me the vibe of the ending in Moon Lovers. Omg. I really recognized Kim Soo Hyun before they even showed me his face. His outline was just him to me. Also, his cameos, just like in CLOY, always feels so random to me.

Omg Sulli. It's so sad to see someone sick of the full moon. I just met Veronica, but now I'm crying at her and Sanchez. Ms. Choi's death and the treatment of her daughter..I'm disgusted at everyone involved. I teared at Chansung's first cry at the bus stop. I'm almost crying but more than tearing at Chansung and Man Wol's last goodbye.

You relaxed into Nichkhun’s side as soon as he sat by you, relaxing his arm across both of your shoulders. “Does it ever get easier for you?” You enquired, sat out on your balcony, overlooking the city.

A hum came from Nichkhun, leaving you confused. “I still get homesick sometimes, but it definitely feels like home for me now.”

“I don’t know why but I’ve really felt that way today,” you confided in Nichkhun, feeling his grip around you tighten as he understood exactly how you felt about moving to another country.

“At least you’ve got me here with you,” he reasoned, kissing the side of your head.

You could do nothing else but nod in agreement with Nichkhun. “There’s no way I’d ever come here if it wasn’t for you being here with me.”

“It’ll get easier, the more you settle,” Nichkhun told you from his own personal experience. “We can keep doing things here that introduce Korea, and remind you of home too.”

“I’d love that,” you smiled, “thank you for already taking such good care of me Nichkhun.”

“I’m always going to be right here for you.”

Taecyeon:

Your eyes rolled as Taecyeon couldn’t help but poke you again in the arm as he passed you by. “Are all Koreans as annoying as you are, or is it just you?” You joked as he took his seat back opposite you again.

His smile was innocent, resting his chin into the palm of his hands, “I can’t believe you’d ever suggest that I could be annoying.”

“At least through a computer screen I can shut you down,” you continued to mess with Taecyeon, hearing him groan. “I wish there was some sort of power off button on you right now.”

“I can arrange to fly you home if you want me to,” Taecyeon jokingly warned you.

Your eyes widened in surprise, hitting against Taecyeon’s arm. “After all this time do you really want to send your best friend back home?”

“I’m only messing with you,” Taecyeon insisted, rolling his eyes at the look of shock on your face. “Now that you’re here, I’m not letting you go back home ever again.”

“Ever again?” You challenged, “you can’t put me up in your apartment forever you know Taec.”

“Really? Because I reckon that I could.”

Wooyoung:

Your eyes were wide as you looked over the table, taking in the many dishes that Wooyoung had ordered for you to try. “What would you recommend first?” You asked, deciding to trust the expert best.

Wooyoung pointed straight away to the kimbap in front of you, “I’m super confident that you’ll fall in love with this when you try it.”

“I better love it now,” you laughed as you picked up your chopsticks before taking a piece of kimbap. With Wooyoung’s eyes firmly on you, you placed it into your mouth, humming immediately.

“Delicious, right?” Wooyoung quizzed, focusing on the smile that was on your face.

Your head nodded as you swallowed before speaking, “that is one of the most incredible things that I’ve ever tasted, it’s so good, that’s unfair.”

“There’s plenty more where that came from,” Wooyoung reminded you, “do you want to try something else? Maybe I could open up one of the bottles of soju?”

“I’ll give anything a try,” you smirked, “go on, I’ll give it all a try under your recommendation.”

“I’ve got all of my favourite things you’ll love.”

Junho:

Your eyes flickered around for Junho in panic as the staff member spoke to you, unable to quite figure out what she was saying. “I need help,” you mouthed as soon as your eyes met his across the shop.

Junho rushed across to you, standing by your side. “What did she say?” Junho asked you, but you could only shrug to him in reply.

“I’m not sure, I only picked up a few words,” you admitted, beginning to fret as the woman looked at you expectantly, unaware that your Korean wasn’t quite as fluent as she expected it to be.

“Don’t worry, I’ll sort this,” Junho promised as she asked her to repeat herself.

You stood apprehensively as she did so, hanging back until Junho turned across to you again. “Is she mad?” You whispered to him, your voice shaky.

“Of course not,” Junho smiled, taking a hold of both of your hands. “No one is expecting you to get everything, with a bit of practice though we can get there, can’t we?”

“Yeah,” you agreed, “I’m sorry if I’m making you work so hard when we’re out and about translating.”

“Don’t apologise, I don’t mind helping at all.”

Chansung:

Your smile was weak as you turned around from the window after hearing Chansung call out your name, his eyes full of concern. “I’m alright,” you quickly assured him, knowing that he was worrying about you.

He looked questionably back across to you, “if you’re having a hard time, it’s alright. It’s a big jump being here compared to home.”

“I’m loving being here and finally being able to visit you and your family,” you smiled as he moved to stand beside you. “There’s so much that’s different though, it’s hard to get my head around at times.”

“You know you can talk to me, and I’ll help you out where I can,” he whispered.

Your head nodded in reply to Chansung, knocking your waist against his. “You being such a brilliant best friend is the whole reason that I’m here anyway.”

“I know, but it’s still going to be hard,” Chansung sympathised, offering you a reassuring grin. “Whenever you’re homesick, tell me, then I can cheer you up.”

“I dread to think what you have planned for me sometimes,” you laughed, “your mind is mysterious.”

“I’ll always make sure you have a great time.”

wait why do you think some of the members didn't like j*y p*rk? I remember there being rumours of 2pm bullying him and while that's very fun to think about alot of the rumours came from people who biased him and hated the other members so i dont rlly believe those rumours 😔I like your thoughts/meta on kpop idols so I just want to know why you think some of the other members didn't fuck with him

I've always thought he did something really stupid (not the MySpace thing) because even after the MySpace thing he hadn't left the group and jyp even went on a show to talk about how he went to america himself to make sure he was practicing his dancing and singing and also said that he was fundamentally a good person then a few months later he was kicked out because of a serious personal issue in his private life or smth.

Like i feel like insinuating that he was gonna come back then kicking him out obviously is going to cause more backlash and is just more work in general then kicking him out straight away soo🤔

The members were alll sad and left his space open during their mama performance, said things like let's walk together and that 2pm is one on some site then deleted because of the hate that they were getting and talked about him during their speech and everythingbut idk the idea that they secretly hated him makes me happy so I wanna know your thoughts

People also genuinely think he knocked up hyuna and while I don't think he did that I do think he either did something in those few months or confessed to something in those few months of "self reflection"

they did giggle when taec said smth like the hip hop guy who isn't with us anymore and junho did call him the dirt that's been filtered or smth like that so I feel like they don't like him atleast

iirc the official story is that he took a hiatus from the group, and then after much discussion w jyp he left the group bc he was unhappy as a kpop artist? which i think is probably true i mean the dude was obviously miserable and as messy as he is nowadays i do think he's happy.

god the rumors abt 2pm bullying him are so funnyyyyy i need to hunt down the article where i read them and read it again lol but i do remember whenever me and my roommate watched that wild bunny episode (after binging soooooo many 2pm fan compilation videos) we were SO shocked by how different and terrible their vibes were aksjdsdkljfflgglhjkl

it really made me realize how much group dynamics are like tetris tbh. like removing that one person made the whole rest of the dynamic fall into place?

like obviously, there is no way to know what their ~real~ personalities were like at the time, because they had just debuted so they all had a persona that they were pushing + a character for that show. but he certainly came across as incredibly immature and irresponsible, and it was frankly rlly uncomfortable to watch......like idk but i think jun.k and nichkhun were genuinely pissed off at him for stealing nichkhun's wallet and ditching them at the karaoke room, going to a club with taec and chansung (who had JUST turned 20), and then not answering the phone. he rlly came across as an older friend who could get you into trouble, but can't get you out.

i also remember the others came across (especially taec) as being "followers", who would just go along with his shenanigans because it was funny or interesting. ofc they were all really young then, and like i said before, this show obvs had set "characters" for them to play, so who knows how accurate my opinion was! but i definitely left that episode feeling very grateful that he left the group, or else he would've gotten them into some real serious trouble.

i think one of the most important aspects of a group's dynamic is their ability to keep each other in check. i think it's important for members to be able to be honest and call each other on their bullshit if they're getting to cocky or arrogant or otherwise becoming an asshole. after all, a kpop group is a brand that you are building together - one person's integrity becomes synonymous with the group's integrity as a whole. that's why scandals are kinda serious business: groups are pushing an image of closeness, ranging from "besties" to "found family". if one member is exposed to be an asshole (or just downright evil, i.e. burning sun) it immediately casts doubt on the other members character and integrity.

i also think that the leader of a group is really influential on the vibe of the group as a whole, and we've seen what a mess jay park is. i think if he had stayed with the group, they would've had a lot more scandals, and had a very negative image as a scandal-ridden group. to be clear, 2pm members HAVE had scandals (incl pretty serious one's, like a couple DUIs), but they've managed to shake them off to have a pretty clean image.

2pm's dynamic as 6 just.....works? like they're fun to watch and it seems like they all genuinely like each other and like working together. i've never really gotten an ~off~ vibe from them, or that they secretly hate each other. especially after seeing them w jay. it just felt wrong and off and uncomfortable. also yeah, i think the whole ordeal of losing a member would naturally create a trauma bond amongst everyone else lol

ik that fans voted jay park the leader bc he got first on their pre-debut show but i have always felt like jun.k should've been the leader the whole time....like again it's hard to know bc wild bunny was obviously very contrived, but he certainly came across as much more responsible and level-headed than jay. i think him and nichkhun are a very solid "hyung/leader" line tbh like ik they've each had a DUI but in general they come across (to me) as very stable guys who take their job and their image very seriously, which is important.

and tbh i'm always a little skeptical when groups w/ a member who's on a scandal hiatus say stuff like "let's walk together" or "2pm is one" or do things like leave their space empty.....like i mentioned before kpop groups are pushing an image of "best friends" or a "family" and when the person hasn't left the group, the idols are still having to deal with and interact with that member's fans. when things are unclear or it seems like hiatus is only temporary, it would be soooo bad for their image to be like "fuck that guy", you know? fans would lose their SHIT and it'd only embroil the group in more drama tbh......but i do agree that if the company's going to cut ties, it's better to do it immediately rather than get fans hopes up.

hi lia, my beloved!! how are you? i hope you've had a lovely sunday. thank you sm for your message! 🫶🏻 hm, let me think! at this point, the process alone of making gifs is so meditative to me. i love opening the file in photoshop, doing all the little bits and bobs, adding sharpening and coloring. i think my favorite thing, especially with big gifsets, is when everything comes together and when a coloring just works out exactly how i imagined it! my least favorite thing is vapoursynth dhfhdhhfdhdj. and i think my coloring has gotten better, as has my sharpening. also, i just know so much more than i did, like. ten years ago. i am really proud of myself for that and i try to keep learning new things!

hmmm, i cannot really narrow it down to one so here are some of my fave gifsets:

kibum birthday set; i am so proud of this one because i love the colors, composition and the font animation!

yoseob birthday set; i just love this one. close contender for fave of all time!

inner shadow/abyss; i am so so so proud of the blending and coloring of this set.

wooyoung aotm; i hated this when i made it but now i think it flows so nicely.

exo anniversary set; i planned this for a long time and then ended up having to make it while suffering from a very not nice case of covid. but it worked out exactly as i wanted it, so i am happy with it.

ACCEPTING PROMPTS

Hey all, long time no see. It’s been a while since I updated anything and I feel bad leaving for so long. The reasons for this are:

1) I ran out of time to work on it and when I had time I was doing other things. I just lost my job but was previously working 40+ hours a week and running errands on weekends. I was physically and mentally exhausted.

2) What is motivation anymore? Seriously, I’d sit down to work on my WIPs and end up reading on my phone instead until I had to go to sleep.

3) I’m kinda stuck on how to proceed with The New World Orders. Some people have pointed out that I’ve fallen into the “woah is me,” “problematic main character,” trope and I agree. But I also don’t know how to fix it 😂. I have no idea how to finish writing it. Like I know where I’m going with the story and I have everything planned out (like really planned out. Talking my Tism and Hyper-focused obsessiveness made me create a whole ass family tree with personalities and houses and a bunch of other shit for this gen and the next two gens and going back like 4. I seriously have a tree website with 3,000 people on it all for this story. It’s nuts. I have no intention of going into past generations in this and I won’t be expanding past their kids but the fact that my brain could pull that shit and can’t write the next chapter is scary and fucking annoying at the same time). Where I was going with that tangent is I have the big picture, but it’s the individual chapters that are messing me up.

So, having said that, I am obviously in a bit of a slump. I haven’t written anything in what feels like ages and I need to do something a little smaller scaled to get back into things. I will eventually finish my WIP - I have no idea when but I will do it or be damned 😠 ✊🏻👊🏻. I am taking requests right now for one shots. Here’s the specs if you’re interested;

gonna start of with main man, bang christopher chan, because boy is my love for him overflowing lately!!!

he's one of my absolute favourite people on the entire goddamn planet and i just love him to bits. he's so sweet and loving and he has always been there for me in my worst times and i find comfort in him. over the past 8/9 months of knowing him, he's become one of the most important people in my life 🫶

i really admire his work ethic and how hard he always works and how diligent he is! i absolutely love seeing him on stage because no matter what he's performing he always gives his all and it's so pleasing to see.

and goddddd i love love LOVE the way he showers his members with so much love and affection and is so caring towards all of them >:( but i absolutely have to say that my #1 dynamic with chan is chansung. chan and jisung together is just something absolutely so personal to me. i never really understood why but maybe because jisungie is his first kid it just makes me go absolutely melty and soft 🥰 their first 2 kids room together is one of my all time favourite skz videos and i cherish it so much <3

Welcome to ‘Hotel Del Luna’, have a spooky stay. Following the announcement earlier this year, CRYSTALLIS’ JASMINE will be appearing in the highly-anticipated drama alongside big names like IU and Yeo Jingoo. The girl group member has previously appeared in TvN’s ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho’.

Hotel Del Luna is about an elite hotelier, Gu Chansung (played by Yeo Jingoo), who had to work as the hotel’s manager after a deal between his father and the hotel’s CEO, Jang Manwol (played by IU), was made 20 years ago. JASMINE will appear as Kim Yuna, a student who interns for the hotel.

First script reading will start tomorrow, July 16, and the first episode will air on August 27. You can catch new episodes of the drama every Saturday and Sunday at 9PM KST for 16 episodes.
