BEST FRIEND 2PM A⇴Z HEADCANON ⇴ Hwang Chansung

A ⇴ ATTENTION

There would often be a side eye in your direction whenever Chansung was around you, enough so that no one could really see how much he actually cared for you, but just enough so he knew that he cared.

B ⇴ BICKER

It often gave those around you a good laugh whenever the two of you bickered with one another, once you started it took a lot for you both to stop having a go at one another. You were both as bad as each other when it came to bickering, you both wouldn’t want to stop, and you’d both go pretty low too.

C ⇴ COMFORT

He’d be there for you whenever you needed comforting as a shoulder to cry on first and foremost. Chansung would give you all the time that you needed to let it all out around him. He was used to being around you when you were down and so he knew the exact right way to be able to bring you back up again.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

Both of you had a slight habit of being stubborn with one another quite often, more so than you were around any other person in your lives. You knew that you could bear each other’s bad moods better than anyone else could too and so when you wanted to be miserable or you wanted to have a bit of a shouting match with someone, it would usually be the other person that you would turn to for it.

E ⇴ EARLY YEARS

The fact that you had so much in common made getting to know Chansung one of the easiest jobs for you, with the conversation running constantly between you both. You both seemed to just feel comfortable from the get-go with one another as you naturally just found out more about each other the more that you talked and the more questions that you asked each other about those interests.

F ⇴ FAMILY

Chansung’s family were like a family of your own, they were people that you knew that you could count on for anything, no matter how big or small of a problem it was that you had. They were always there for you just like Chansung was, they were always happy to offer up their advice to you just like Chansung did too, you could see exactly where Chansung got his kind nature from with his family.

G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER

You usually tended to just stay at home whenever the two of you hung out as most of your time was spent just talking and catching up. You quite liked the privacy of your own home when you hung out after having several incidents through the years with fans or cameras which had been off-putting for you both.

H ⇴ HABITS

The two of you had a habit of running away with yourselves, especially when you hadn’t seen each other for a while. Time was completely lost track off and the conversation was usually in a completely different direction as you made up for lost time and shared all of the things that you’d kept bottled up.

I ⇴ INSIDE JOKES

With so many years of friendship behind you, inside jokes were inevitable for the two of you. You had countless inside jokes, some that you struggled to remember because they had been with you both for so long, and also because they were constantly being replaced by newer inside jokes between you both too.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

He hated someone thinking that they were your best friend as Chansung was always entirely confident that they would never be able to compare to him. He quite enjoyed actually watching someone try and convince other people that they were your best friend, it gave him a giggle. Rather than get jealous, Chansung joked about it with you after when you were alone, mocking everything that they’d said.

K ⇴ KICKS

Chansung got a kick out of being there for you in the hope that he would be able to repay you for all of the times that you had been there for him. He never took for granted the many things that you had done for him, and he hoped that he could always be there to do absolutely anything for you as well.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how long the two of you had been friends, your friendship was something that Chansung was very proud of. Not only was he proud of you both as a team, but he was also just proud of you in general. People loved to joke with you wondering how you’d managed to put up with Chansung for so many years, but you both knew that being each other’s best friends was the easiest job in the whole world.

M ⇴ MEETING

The two of you first met when you worked as one of the backing dancers for a 2PM tour, working specifically alongside Chansung. It was the time of your life as you spent most of your days with Chansung, slowly getting to know each other as you spent time both exploring and rehearsing together.

N ⇴ NONSENSE

He loved how easy you made it for him to relax more than anything else, if he ever felt like he needed to unwind or just kick about and scream for a little while, you were the person that he went to.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Chansung was obsessed with your understanding and how flexible you were when it came to being his best friend. You didn’t mind waiting for his time and knew that he was busy, but there if you needed him too.

P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS

One of your favourite things to do together was look back on your old memories as you both kept many photos from the adventures that you’d been on. Photos from tours and rehearsals were some of your favourites especially as you slowly became less and less awkward in photos the more that you hung out.

Q ⇴ QUESTIONS

Whenever you needed help, you knew that you could message Chansung, and he’d be there for you. Even if he couldn’t get to you in person, he’d answer any questions that you had about anything over the phone.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

Ever since you found out that Chansung was going to be a father, you had pestered him relentlessly about godparent, constantly doing things to prove to him that you were the right person for the job. In the end you pretty much left him with no choice because of how persistent you were around him to choose you.

S ⇴ SUPPORT

You still loved to support not just Chansung but all of the boys which was something that he greatly appreciated, especially when you showed up unexpectedly. It wasn’t just Chansung who appreciated you whenever you were there to support them, all of the boys made sure you were treated perfectly when you visited.

T ⇴ TRIPS

Despite the many trips that you’d been on, none of them ever compared to the trips you went on when you were on the road with them as they were the adventures that introduced you to each other.

U ⇴ ULTIMATE

No one had ever been there for him quite like you had, and he knew that no one would be there for him like you too.

V ⇴ VISITS

Your visits to Chansung always had to be arranged as you never wanted to disturb him, but you knew even if you politely asked him if he was free then he’d tell you to just come round to his anyway.

W ⇴ WISDOM

He prided himself on his advice at the best of times, but especially when it came to giving you the right answers especially.

X ⇴ XXXX

Usually, your affection was because you were teasing each other, whether it was attention, irritation or to cheer the other person up, you knew that one way or another you’d be able to get a reaction out of them.

Y ⇴ YOU

You were just there, Chansung couldn’t remember not having you there by his side.

Z ⇴ ZZZ

Whenever the two of you hung out, you always went your separate ways in the evenings. However, it was dark or cold, Chansung would always make sure to drive you home so that you got there safely.
