his strategy is mostly getting you used to compliments, so over time they don't feel so disconcerting to receive

if you're one of those people that deflects a compliment by complimenting someone back... he's gonna get you outta that habit

and once you gain confidence around him? he's going insane.

ZORO

tbh... zoro isn't one for compliments

but he's honest, a man of his word

so if a shirt is unflattering, trust me he'll say "that shirt's ugly as shit"

you ask him how something looks on you really often

he might be saying "DAMN" in his head

his heart's pounding, he's having a coughing attack, he feels lightheaded, and suddenly he's losing grip on his swords...

but out loud? you're getting a "looks nice"

not even a full sentence, sorry

you'll probably hear more skill-based compliments

imagine the crew's celebrating a successful trip with a round of drinks and they're about to make a toast for you

and you try to push the credit onto SOMEONE ELSE?

Uldren is holding a mixing bowl on the kitchen counter with one hand, and is pouring something into the bowl with his other hand. OK I WENT AND SCANNED THE ZINE I MADE AND... here are most of the pages - so every middle "spread" has one left and right page on the back of it and then a bigger pic once its unfolded, but didnt include every side for every larger spread.

this basically explores a bit of folke and adrian's relationship - adrian, the Creature, ends up finding folke's brother's recently deceased corpse and imitates his appearence, the only real way for a basilisk in their world to learn to shapeshift into something.

So their relationship is a bit complicated. but also, it ends up eventually settling into something that isnt only full of bitterness...

* Street racing is very much out of his comfort zone so when he saw you doing it Raiden was very much intimidated

* Is always scared your going to be caught by the cops

* When the race starts he’ll always be anxious bitting his finger and by accident zapping himself, hoping that you’ll be back as safe as possible

* If you win a race he will use his thunder powers to make tiny fireworks

* As much as he’s scared for you Raiden will ALWAYS be present during your race’s. He won’t miss it for the world

* Made you a leg charm for good luck and a sign of support and love

「 ✦ Johnny Cage ✦ 」

* Expensive cars that drive fast speeds ? SIGN HIM UP

* You take care of the technicalities and mechanical stuff and he deals with decorating and making your car look as best as possible

* If you do illegal street racing and get caught he’s gonna bail you out, maybe be a bit mad but eventually forgets about it and asks to see you race again

* If you ever need to practice he’ll rent out a private racing venue for you

* Watches from the side, love struck, dont get me wrong if you ever got into an accident he has 911 on spee dial but also trusts you to not drive too recklessly

* Gets all the best stylists he has to make you look the best before the race

「 ✦ Kung lao ✦ 」

* He’s your little passenger princess

* Definitely got you an air freshener that looks like his hat

* If he’s not sitting beside you he’ll instead be on the radio giving you warnings and advice for what to do

* Kung lao + flag boy + jumpsuit

* He’d absolutely buy the best jumpsuit’s he can find to wow you before you race

* You think he’s ever used his hat as a flag ? Like he throws it into the air to signal ,,go”

「 ✦ Fujin ✦ 」

* Like Raiden this is out of his comfort zone, BUT he’s not against it

* Don’t get me wrong he doesn’t like it if you do it illegally, although he puts that aside because he sees that your having fun.

* Tries to take you as much as possible to legal racing venues, mostly for your safety (also he wouldn’t know what to do if you got caught)

* If you have longer hair before the race he’ll give you his hairband so your hair wont get the way and as a safety item (his way of saying ,,Be safe”)

* After a race the night will be finished with a cup of tea and cuddling in his bed

* Mostly comes to have a good time and to cheer you on
