Jessie had been dreading this conversation ever since she saw the positive sign on her pregnancy test. The day of his birthday had been so nice, just spending the entire night talking and cuddling, doing something like that with someone who wanted to date her? That was something she almost gave up hoping for. And now she had to come ruin it before they even had their first date. She knocked on his door and as soon as he opened it, she stepped inside and took a deep breath. “I have to tell you something secret and I know once you hear it you won’t want to go on a date with me anymore and I need you to know that I totally understand and I don’t blame you at all, ok?” she sighed after rambling. “I found out just before the skating party thing that I’m pregnant. And that comes with its own complications and you didn’t sign up for that so I understand.”

so in the robin run we see that damian knows what to do to get his siblings to stop fighting. like he hugged jason bc he knew he would freeze up for example. i choose to believe that this means that damian has a psychological profile of his siblings

It was a simple mission. Damian was working with Father to confirm the existence of a Lazarus Pit below Gotham, as Ra's Al Ghul speculated. And they had found it, deep in the caves below Gotham. A Pit the size of an Olympic sized swimming pool, bubbling and steaming. He'd only looked away for a moment.

"Kin-slayer."

Standing waist deep in the water stood Damian's reflection. The hair might be white, and the eyes glowing with the waters, but it was his face. But not his face alone.

Danyal's ghost glared at him. "Get in the water."

Father threw a batarang at him, but the metal flew straight through his head like it was air. Danyal didn't even glance at him, his eyes fixed on Damian. "Get in the water," he ordered again. He stepped closer to the shore and the green water sloshed up the bank higher than it was before. "Or I'll raise the tide so high, all of Gotham will die. So get in the water."

Damian's heart jumped into throat. "Wait-"

"Get in the water."

Father shoved Damian behind him, as if it would protect him, as if he could stop Danyal. "Stop this, please-" If he could just explain-

Another step and the waters surged forward, nearly touching Father's boots. "I'll make whirlpools so profound, your entire family will drown," he promised.

"NO!" Not his brother, his kind brother-

"THEN GET IN THE WATER!" Danyal snarled, revealing monstrously sharp teeth and a black tongue from Damian's poison. "G̴̩͍͆͆̈́e̵̹̣͆t̷̬̋ ̸̻̮̎̒ĭ̸̟̰͙̏̃n̵͙̝̟̋͐ ̸̛̳̃t̶̪̣̅ḣ̸̳̇͜è̵̠̲͖̔̑ ̶̢̹̖͗͐̀w̵̜͍̤̌a̵̬̞͝ṫ̴̩̣̣e̶͉̲̯͂̏̎r̴̉͜!̷̡͔́̀̽" He lunged and Father pushed them back down the passage they'd come. "Don't mistake this for a bluff, brother. You've lived more than enough. Just get in the water." Damian swallowed, throat dry. Was this Danyal's revenge? Did he finally have to face what he had done?

"Robin, who is this?" Father snapped, trying to keep retreating down the cave. But Damian wouldn't let him; the waters, and Danyal with them, would only follow.

Danyal looked between them, scowling. "G̴̩͍͆͆̈́e̵̹̣͆t̷̬̋ ̸̻̮̎̒ĭ̸̟̰͙̏̃n̵͙̝̟̋͐ ̸̛̳̃t̶̪̣̅ḣ̸̳̇͜è̵̠̲͖̔̑ ̶̢̹̖͗͐̀w̵̜͍̤̌a̵̬̞͝ṫ̴̩̣̣e̶͉̲̯͂̏̎r̴̉͜!̷̡͔́̀̽" he snapped again. "I'll take your father and gouge out his eyes, unless you want to stop being a coward and choose to die. Now... get in the water."

“We would not be this far if it weren’t for you.” Kate smiled from beneath her mask, knowing that Damian had never responded well to compliments. But she also wasn’t the type of person to hedge her words, and it was true, anyway -- the only reason they had gotten this far in the mission tonight was because of Damian’s ingenuity. “What do you think?” she said. “Should we do some more recon, or are we ready to go in?” They should probably ask Bruce about the subject, but that would take too long. Kate was more action-oriented. (Alfred would probably call it impatient, but whatever.)

"Mom?" His voice was hoarse, pale blue eyes squinting in the sudden bright light. He had heard the commotion, the sounds of bodies hitting the ground in quick succession, but he had not dared to suspect he might be being rescued. It was only now, as he saw the familiar figure, that he rose to his feet, voice trembling.

"Is that really you?"

If she was here, he knew his father wouldn't be far behind.

Red Robin gets hit with a love spell during battle that knocks him out and will make him fall in love with the first person he sees when he wakes up.

The Bats takes him back to the Cave and while they wait for Bruce to get Zatanna or some other magic user to come help break the spell they all agree Red Hood should be who Red Robin sees and he can deal with a lovestruck Red Robin.

Since he'd be the one best able to handle that without the awkwardness of being his ex.

(Steph is his ex, Dick is in Bludhaven, Cass is in Hong Kong and Duke has a girlfriend. Which leaves Bruce. (He refused.) Barbara. (She laughed.) Or Damian. (Everyone agreed it was best not to.) So, Jason is what's left.)

Only, when Tim wakes up and sees Jason, he doesn't act any differently. He just gets up and demands a mission report and tries to go about business as usual, much to everyone's confusion.

(And to the disappointment of Stephanie, who had her phone out ready to record.)

They explain the love spell and wonder why nothing happened and Tim just says that obviously it didn't work and to not worry too much about it.

The spell did work it's just that Tim was already in love with Jason so nothing actually changed outwardly.

Bruce manages to get Zatanna there a few days later and examines Tim, and is also confused because there's definitely a love spell on him and there's no reason it shouldn't be working. To prevent her from looking further into it and making a big deal, Tim, in private, hints at why there might not be any effects.

Zatanna gets it and agrees to remove the spell and say that it just wasn't that strong after all.

Everybody seems to accept that explanation and move on, except for Jason, who knows Tim is hiding something and he's determined to find out what.

(Bruce also realizes that something is up but wants to respect Tim's privacy.)

Damian’s classmate looking at all the cat trees and toys splayed across the young heir’s room.

“You must own a lot of cats!” They say.

Damian looking at them blankly as he spouts out “No, that’s for my partner/girlfriend/boyfriend.”

Tim not so subtly kicking away the ball gag from his room away as he hands them snacks to eat while studying/working. Cursing inwardly when he realizes he forgot the blindfold.

Alfred being the hero he is and collecting all those in broad daylight + providing distractions for the sake of everyone’s dignity.

Jessie felt terrible about how she left things the last time she saw Damian, she hadn't been able to stop thinking about it the last few weeks. When she realized what date was coming soon though, she decided it was time she finally went and spoke to him, so that's where she was now, knocking on his door. As soon as he opened the door, she smiled sheepishly. "Happy birthday...I was hoping I could come in?"

—✹ Sylvia glances up from her worn-down copy of Tale of Two Cities to find Damian’s head on her shoulder. Her lips formed a soft smile while her cheeks felt warm and fuzzy. This was nostalgia for her--back when she took care of her brother Tim.

Setting her book aside, the goddess carries him in her arms with ease until she finds a better place for him to sleep. Comfy blankets were soon summoned and Sylvia tucked Dami in. She ruffled his hair gently before she left the room, the door closed behind her.
