Eternal Sugar before they fell and became corrupted was no doubt was really energetic and supportive cookie; doing everything they could to bring joy and happiness to cookiekind and the world. They would grant cookies their dreams and comfort them to the best of their abilities, however they didn't allow themselves to be sad or upset as they needed to be a pillar to everyone.
After all, they held the virtue of Happiness. In their mind; they couldn't afford to be sad or even feel a single negative emotion.... No matter what.... Of course, this would be their downfall due to the simple fact they bottled up their emotion and were slowly burning themselves out by being the pillar of support.
At some point, Eternal Sugar started to get burnout with trying to help everyone they could and grew tired until only grew worse with each passing day until one day; they didn't want help a cookie as they simply wanted to sleep, which lead into a huge argument.
An argument that ended in tragedy when Eternal Sugar accidentally ended up using their magic, which resulted in the cookie's death. When they realized their mistake; they felt nothing for the cookie's death.... In fact; there was part of them that felt relief and free...
As such, Eternal Sugar decided that if they weren't allowed to do nothing or sleep, then they would kill any cookies that dare bother them with the only exceptions being the other Beasts as the friendship was the only thing that the fallen angel cared about now.

SAGAU / Isekai Genshin:
You can still use your characters! ... as in possessing them 👻
(all art by me down below, hope its decent lol - did it for u guys and myself i mean what )
Tumblr media
Edit 9/7/23: 1,500+ NOTES??? BRO WHAT!! THABK YOU <3
Edit 12/24/23 + 4/5/24:
My dumbass forgot to put this here .-.
Anywya this is a full length fanfic now ;)
PART 1 (you're here!) / Part 2
So.
You got sucked into a video game.
Crazy, but it happens ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
yknow how it issss
...you very quickly discover that unfortunately video game rules still apply...
which wouldn't normally be an issue! like, needing to use the bathroom in the middle of a fight? Nope! minor cuts and bruises like papercuts, only actual enemies or fall damage counting? hell yeah that'd be great (theoretically no chronic pains if you got that?? hmmmm unsure)
see the issue comes when you realize, you as a player, don't have a "character" that's all your own
there's aether/lumine yeah.. but bc the game's real now, they're their own people, and you didn't wake up to find yourself as a blonde twin...
the closest you can describe your form as is .. like a seelie?
or like the way ghosts look in game?
but a lot more "starry"
like your specterlike, but you look like you got filled up with stars and the milky way, maybe a reference of you being from another universe/world? (aether/lumine/dainsleif/khaenriah star symbol reference secret thEORY-)
but yah.
you also got just, white eyes.
like, not iris, not pupil. like your pupil and iris got erased
you gotta admit, at least you look really aesthetic now.
(u also got a little cape and hood on at all times, and you cant take it off to see your starrified hair >:/ ,very Blue Diamond-esque, look up Steven Universe, Blue Diamond if you dont know who im talking about)
so needless to say, as soon as you sort of glitched your way into existence you were HYPE
i mean ur ACTUALLY IN TEYVAT WITH THE BOYSSSS
...then you realize your a spooky-no-character-to-pilot-around-thus-no-character-model-body-for-you thingy
and that you cant touch stuff!! >:(
like wth!!!
thats just downright unfair.
so, you figure if you got no body to be.... you gotta find a new "character" to pilot >:)
...
I choose you, yellow fungi!
...
....
you're in the fucking woods (Sumeru somewhere obv, u knew that the moment you opened ur eyes),
what'd you expect?? an archon??
..wait a minute. can you possess an archon-
these kinda thoughts plague your first few days of irl genshin impact playing
a rishabold tiger? yep.
a sumpter beast? kinda slow and heavy feeling but yeah.
...you also try a ruin machine LOL
by far, the fungi and ruin machines are the best to possess, mostly because you can remain upright with those
(tho u did find some type of flying monkey that wasnt in game, but its like,, a real world and jungle now so that makes sense there'd be more complexity + stuff)
you do eventually think you should try and possess a person at this point... but ur kinda nervous 👉👈
its ur first time doin this okay nobody explained the basics to you youve been winging for a week now!
will your mind be replaced with theirs? it hasn't been so far with the creatures/bots
and as far as you can tell, they kinda just-
forget what happened or "wake up" after you possess them
(the tiger you were for a day looked confused as hell when it realized that there was a new pile of fruit next to it when it "woke up", it was your way of saying thank you to the animals of the jungle, u left them little piles of food you collected running around as them)
so THEORHETICALLY-
you should be good to go and possess a random poor eremite
... you figure you want to possess something human-like eventually even if you get a puppet body like wanderer/raiden so...
here goes nothing...
so it's been 2 weeks since you've been forcefully yanked into teyvat, and by the second week, you were trying to possess eremites
which! worked out!
mostly..!
you kinda convinced the entirety of two eremite camps that a certain part one of sumeru's forests is hella haunted bc ppl keep "blacking out" and doing things they don't remember doing, yknow... like possesssion LMAO
they kinda ran off to escape you but, hey!
experiment #2: people possession, success!!
now you were kinda convinced of this when you realized no matter the angle the animals and machines of sumeru didnt react to you getting super close to them (you dont have to touch something to posses it, just look at it really, but you wanted to test limits, so you walked up to sumpter beasts and fungi and ruin machines)
but no one can see you.
you don't have a "character" most of the time, you can float and glide around the ground like scaramouche lol
you cant touch stuff bc of this, you cant smell stuff (u saw the eremites campfires & couldnt smell the smoke until you were them)
you cant eat stuff w/o a body, so.. it makes sense that the eremites and passing merchants, cant see you when you float around, trying to reorient yourself after 2 weeks of experimenting
:( ur only a lil sad about it... but mostly not bc lol u got possession powers so trade off u guess
Tumblr media
the first time you see a vision-bearer you literally scream
LMAO
ur so lucky u cant be seen or heard
bc Collei would have def screamed back lol
needless to say u stalk the forest ranger- ALL DAY.
Collei goes on patrol around the woods? you go on a patrol.
collei goes to visit other forest rangers? you "visit" other forest rangers at base (lol u def possess a guy who was asleep on a bench nearby & wake up to go talk to Collei "in-person", poor guy was so worried he sleep walked/talked so hard he went to see Tighnari an hour later lmao)
welp, you decide this is your life now, follow Collei everywhere, talk one-sided to Collei until you can possess a forest ranger w/o it being suspicious (dont wanna turn the poor rangers into the terrified eremites from a week or two ago...)
then, after you get the courage and erase the paranoia that tighnari can just... somehow hear your ghostly bullshit-
u do the same to Tighnari (then Cyno when he visits! no u didnt squeal, so what, nobody can hear you- )
Tighnari begins to get suspicious about 3 weeks into this routine.
he's been starting to collect and start a file on all the rangers or nearby villagers that've started randomly "blacking out/sleep walking" in the evenings usually
(u possess as close to nighttime as u can so it seems like sleepwalking)
So when Cyno comes back from a mission gone wrong,
having nearly been decapitated by a rogue flying ruin machine, only to black out and come to standing calmly 10 feet further than he remembered being 1 minute ago...
Tighnari's suspicions are confirmed, and he launches into researching this phenomenon.
his first thought is something like the aranara, but that doesn't account for the effect this thing is having on people
after all, what little forest spirit is strong enough to-
-control humans??
Tighnari begins to get the sense he's in over his head after he finds himself pushed into going into Sumeru City in order to collect more library books or ask around if the blackouts have spread to the city people
he answer is negative, on both accounts.
and he spends about one half of the day walking around, and the other reading up all he can on mythical creatures or ailments
Tighnari gives up for the day, and as he makes his way back to Ghandarvaville, he almost gets ambushed by some particularly nasty muggers
...and then he wakes up 20 feet away, his denro vision thrumming with power, full of worry and fondness for himself??, (just like Cyno said he felt happen to him..)
...Tighnari decides he needs reinforcements.
Tumblr media

Erasing Boundaries
Tumblr media
Request: Hi I hope you're well~~I'd really like to see no.12 with Bang Chan from the prompt list. 👀 I'd also like to say that I've been a long time follower and I really love reading your works! Thank you for putting the time and effort!! <3
Prompt:
12) When your bias tries to delicately friendzone you, they realize you just wanted to be friends in the first place. Shortly after, they realize they’re the ones falling for you.
Pairing: Stray Kids Bang Chan x Reader
Genre: Fluff
.
"We're just friends."
"You're a trustworthy person, Chan," Lee Know muttered from his spot on the studio couch. "So I don't understand why you're lying to me right now."
"I'm not lying!" Chan said, spinning around in his office chair. "I really don't have feelings for Y/N."
"Right," Lee Know muttered. "Because instead of multiple feelings, you have one feeling, and it is love."
"Seriously?" Chan groaned, flopping his head back. "Why are you even saying this?"
"You follow them around like a lovesick puppy," Lee Know sighed, pulling out his phone. "Don't think I haven't noticed."
"I feel insulted," Chan pouted. "I am not lovesick, nor am I a puppy."
"A lovesick wolf then."
Chan groaned again as he spun away from his younger member.
After a moment of silence, he turned back around. "Do you think Y/N has feelings for me?"
"Probably," Lee Know hummed, not bothering to look up. "But I thought you didn't have feelings for them."
"I don't!" Chan gasped. "Maybe...maybe I should talk to them."
"And confess? Good idea."
"No!" Chan chuckled. "To just confirm that we're friends and nothing more than that."
"Are you sure you really want to create that boundary?" Lee Know asked with lifted brows. "You're friend zoning yourself."
"I'm friend zoning, Y/N," Chan nodded. "This idea that we like each other romantically must have come from how they interact with me. I know I haven't been flirting."
"I'm sorry," Lee Know sighed. "Are you finally having a mental break? Or are we living two incredibly different lives?"
"I think you're seeing what you want to see," Chan nodded finitely.
"Hello, pot?" Lee Know laughed. "This is kettle. You're black."
"I can't be in a relationship right now," Chan sighed, switching tactics. "We've got too much going on."
"There are far too many arguments I can make," Lee Know muttered. "And frankly I'm exhausted."
"Good," Chan grinned. "I'll let you know how the talk goes."
"Please, don't."
..
"Why was your text so ominous?" you asked, plopping across Chan's bed. Taking a long sip from your frozen coffee, you looked up to see him pacing back and forth in front of you.
"Ominous?" he muttered. "It wasn't ominous. I just asked you to come over."
"You said we-" you cleared your throat, trying to pitch your voice deeper to match Chan's tone. ""needed to talk.""
"Well, it wasn't so much of a need as it is a want," he sighed, finally stopping and sitting down beside you.
You narrowed your eyes at your friend, trying to figure out what was going on in his head. Normally he had at least a hundred things swirling around up there, but today seemed to have a hundred and one.
"You're kind of starting to freak me out," you grumbled, sitting up from your lounging position to better look at him.
"No need," he said quickly. "I just...I wanted to make sure something was clear between us."
"Okay..." you trailed off.
"We're friends, yeah?"
"If we weren't, I'd consider the past year to be a cruel joke," you teased, but instantly stopped as Chan's face remained solemn.
"Chris?" you squeaked. "We are friends...right?"
"Of course, we are!" he gasped, moving to squeeze your knee, but stopping short. Taking a moment to compose himself, he finally swiveled toward you. ""Y/N, you're one of my people."
Your heart gave a small flip. Chan was one of your people too. As someone you could always go to for advice or comfort, he reminded you of the type of guy who was your older sibling's friend that you always had a childhood crush on. You reconciled long ago that someone like him was out of your league, or at least that was your perception of it.
"And as one of my people, I want you to know how important you are to me."
"Chris," you hummed, holding your hand up in the air. "This is awfully sentimental for a Thursday afternoon."
"Right," he winced. "I'll save you my speech that I definitely didn't take an hour figuring out last night."
Your eyes grew wide.
"Joking," he chuckled unconvincingly.
You would find out later that he, in fact, was not joking.
"Long story short," he continued, unable to meet your eyes. "We're friends."
"Yep."
"Just. Friends." he said, emphasizing each word.
"Hearing you loud and clear," you nodded, still unsure what the climax of the conversation would be.
"Good, good," he nodded, reaching toward the drink you had brought him. "So, how was your day?"
"Wait, I'm sorry," you coughed. "Was that it?"
"Well, yeah," he said, furrowing his brow. "Why?"
"I legitimately had anxiety on my way over here," you gasped. "And it was simply for you to tell me something I already knew?"
"You had anxiety?" Chan pouted, his expression soft. "That wasn't my intention at all! It's just that the members kept hinting to me that they thought we were involved, and I wanted to make sure the record was set straight with everyone and-"
"Take a breath, Chris," you sighed. You patted him lightly on the shoulder. "I may have had anxiety, but I also am relieved to know it was over something so silly. I know we're friends."
"We are," he nodded. "You're the Patrick to my SpongeBob, the-"
"Wait, why do I have to be Patrick?" you muttered.
"Because you live under a rock and can't open a jar on your own," he grinned.
"Ah, right," you teased. "And you're SpongeBob because you never stay hydrated and have an unhealthy fixation with your job."
"Low blow, Y/N."
"The truth hurts, doesn't it?"
...
"I messed up."
"You're right," Lee Know hummed. "We should have given Hyunjin up for adoption years ago. Should I start looking for the closest fire station?"
"That is not what I meant," Chan muttered, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I messed up with Y/N. Bad."
"Please," Lee Know said quietly. "Please tell me you did not do what I think you did."
"I made it clear how we are thoroughly, only friends," Chan winced.
Lee Know inhaled deeply through his nose before holding it and letting it out through his mouth.
"Aren't you going to say anything?" Chan whispered.
"Give me a minute," Lee Know grumbled. "My therapist taught me to focus on my breathing when I wanted to get violent."
"Minho," Chan deadpanned.
"Yes, I know, you're my hyung, and I shouldn't speak to you this way, but damnit, man!"
"I know!" Chan cried. "I messed up."
"As you keep saying!" Lee Know sighed. "Now how are you going to fix it?"
"Fix it?" Chan chirped. "I shouldn't just wallow in my misery?"
"Let's try this," Lee Know said slowly. "If the roles here were reversed, what would you tell me?"
Chan scrunched up his face. "Well, I guess I'd tell you that it's okay to make mistakes and this wasn't a serious one. No one is going to die, except you, maybe of embarrassment. You can try to clear your conscience and confess, or just really make a go at trying to be only friends."
"And that's when I would say...?"
"Full steam ahead, let's make an ass out of ourselves," Chan chuckled.
"Correct," Lee Know grinned. "So let Y/N know how you feel. How you really feel."
"One problem," Chan sighed. "In the process of me friend zoning them, I'm pretty sure they friend zoned me twice as hard."
"What do you mean?"
"They said they knew all along we were only friends."
"Do you think just maybe," Lee Know said, tilting his head. "They were following your lead?"
"I mean...maybe?"
"Well," Lee Know grinned. "Time to find out."
...
"Christopher Bang!" you gasped, flying through the front door of the dorm. "I swear on every star in the sky, and EVEN the one's on Felix's cheeks, that if you summon me again with a "we need to talk" text, I'm going to end you!"
"I don't have much tact when I'm nervous," Chan admitted from the living room sofa. He cringed as he looked up at you. "You look nice today."
"I don't want compliments!" you huffed. "I want an explanation!"
"Okay, and you deserve one," he said calmly. "But first, may I interest you in a beverage?"
"Stop stalling."
"Alright, alright," he grumbled. Pushing himself up from the cushions, he came to stand in front of you. It looked like he hadn't slept in days (which wasn't entirely uncommon) but it seemed to really be wearing on him more than usual. "Our conversation yesterday-"
"Wasn't much of a conversation," you finished. "More like just stating the obvious but continue."
"Whatever it was," Chan sighed. "I was wrong."
"You were...wrong?"
"Yes."
You bit your lower lip, not failing to notice the way it drew Chan's eyes. "So are you saying we're not friends?"
"We are," he said quickly. "But from my perspective, that isn't the full truth."
You waited, unsure of what that could possibly mean.
"I told you yesterday that you were one of my people," he said softly. "But that wasn't entirely accurate. If I was being truthful, with you and myself, I would have said you're my person."
Lifting your brows, you tried not to stagger back. Was he actually about to tell you that he had feelings for you? After you had resolved yourself to live with the shadow of unrequited love?
"I care about you in ways that a normal friend wouldn't," he continued. His voice remained quiet, but he had moved closer. "And I understand if you only see me in that brotherly way, that's okay. I get it, but I drove myself nuts last night playing over our conversation. It was a mistake to try to draw a boundary in our relationship, especially when I honestly wanted to erase any we did have."
"Chris-"
"I'm a mess," he whispered. "I'm stubborn and obsessive and make so many mistakes. I'm tired and worn out...but if you can accept all of that...I'll try to be the best version of myself for you."
You stayed quiet, only able to blink up at him as you processed this new information. It felt as if someone was blowing a balloon in your chest, and it was destined to pop at any moment.
"But also, no pressure," he said quickly. "I'd rather be your friend than nothing at all."
"Silly boy," you said softly, only mildly concerned that you would spook him if you came at the situation too enthusiastically. Crossing the small amount of space between the two of you, you stuck out your bottom lip. "I see the best version of you every day. It's just that some days, your best is going to look different depending on what you have to give. Every trait you listed as a weakness has a strength to it. You're stubborn, but that makes you determined. You're obsessive, but you're committed. And with every mistake you make, you learn. It's okay to recognize the flaws in yourself, but you have to recognize the other side of all that. I care about every side of you, Chris. Every day, some days, whatever you're willing to give...I'm going to take."
You could see Chan's eyes go glassy. "You have no idea how much I needed to hear that."
"Good," you smiled. "So yes, I care about you in a more than friend way."
You gave yourself a mental high five. Suddenly, the unattainable childhood crush knew you existed, and wanted you back. How often does that happen?
"I don't deserve you," he hummed, cautiously pulling you into his chest. Wrapping his strong arms around you, he gave a loving squeeze. "But I'm glad you think I do."
Kissing him playfully on the underside of his jaw, you laughed. "Shut up, SpongeBob."

Aside from Casey, millions of people celebrated their birthday on the same day as him. Some of them celebrated the exact same 21st birthday like Casey. But only one of them also gained the revelation of his power that day, and he's not hesitating to try it on to the masses right away
Tumblr media
Jens is working front desk in the local gym of his small hometown just a couple hour away south of Stockholm. He didn't need any messenger whatsoever to work on his power as he's been listening to his family about their respective power when they reached 21 years of age. Jens just tapped into his enhanced inner self right when the clock hit midnight and realized that mind control is his power. He smirked as he jumped from his bed right away and started to affect all his slumbering family member with his power, turning them into bunch of normies as he rewired their brain to never remember about magic whatsoever. His mom would be able to counter such move if only she woke up at that time and started to create protection from Jens magic for everyone in the family, yet she's too tired after preparing all the things needed to celebrate Jens birthday. After practically killing his family by making them normal, he simply walked back to bed, excited for the sun to shine quickly
The birthday surprise turned out to be quite nice and Jens enjoyed it very much, especially with his older siblings unable to ruin it with their powers anyway and just genuinely be happy for him. After all the hubbubs, Jens said goodbye to his family as he headed to the gym to start the execution of his plan
Tumblr media
The gym is not necessarily crowded in the early morning, so Jens worked with whoever audience that is already available inside the gym. Without even speaking or anything, a simple eye contact is enough to freeze his target. He's slightly drained from making sure all his family member's mind altered, so he needed this extra step of eye contact for now until his whole power recharged. The first target, Erik quickly forced to stand up straight, his gasping breath instantly normalized as his whole body conditioned to be relaxed yet firm.
Tumblr media
Jens then started his rewriting process, infiltrating Erik's mind and rearranging it as he wished. After around a minute, Jens controlled Erik to sit down and then just for the fun of it, start jacking his dick off while Jens continued his round of takeover.
Matthias witnessed the weird interaction and rough transition of Erik from being exasperated to then froze off before jacking his own dick in the middle of the gym, but he's directly in the eyesight of Jens so he also quickly froze, his slack-jawed gaping mouth forced to close by Jens as he doesn't want to get distracted while rewriting Matt's brain
Tumblr media
The muscle freak is an owner of an "intelligence-led security company" or basically paramilitary troopers and Jens saw certain potential from him, so a meeting will be set later on the day by Matthias with all of his employees attending the meeting where Jens will do his specialty, hopefully recharged and ready to create further mess and expand his control by that time
Not only Matthias, his working out buddy and spotter, Anton, also frozen as soon as his eyes met Jans eyes.
Tumblr media
The former Captain in Swedish Army succumbed all the state secrets within his mind as Jans sees fit while Jans also explored everything that exist within. Jens smirked upon seeing the loving memories of the captain's family, which he quickly erased as he then planted this idea that Anton is nothing but a cum slut for Matthias which Matthias exploited really well for the benefit of his company. Matthias is also the one that dragged Anton to work under Jens service, and it's not like he can say no when his master told him to. It's a rather twisted approach that he took, but Jens cannot help himself but laughing on the irony of it all as Anton used to be sleeping with Matthias ex-girlfriends and were the one causing Anton remaining single until now. Guess he bring karmic redsitribution right away for the douchebag Anton rather than waiting for universe to punish him much later
Nils Andreesen (L), Jakob Ericsson (R) and William Gustafsson (B) also fell victim to Jens mind control as they were in the gym already by the time Jens started his rewriting process with Erik. Jakob is the Vice-Mayor and Jens already proposed several regulation and procedure which Jakob will enforce after his gym session finished and the time to works started. A townhall is also requested by Jens to be held the following week, where he will demonstrate the power he has in an even-larger scale
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Based on Nils memories, a guy is already inside the locker room as he came early to the gym. It's the gym owner's son, Leo, and with Leo being in the inner circle of the Prime Minister daughter as he went to the same uni as her and used to fuck her until last winter, taking him over becomes important. Jens rushed himself to the locker room and then quickly searched for Leo. Much to his luck, Leo haven't left the gym premise so he quickly shouted on top of his lung by calling Leo's name. Leo turned around and that was the start of his downfall as he just froze all in a sudden.
Tumblr media
Wasting no time, Jens quickly built the basic narrative he built in to everyone that they are nothing but Jens loyal servant and will do anything for him and his satisfaction. And then, upon realizing that Leo is in a call, he let Leo returned to normal for a quick second, ended the call and proceed with the rewriting of Leo's mind.
"We are a very tight-knit bro ever since we were kids. I'm your closest friend and you share everything to me, your sadness, your anger, your pain, even your own free-will. You are nothing but a putty little bitch everytime there's only the two of us, and you are so eager to please me. Heck, you always love to sniff and lick my sweat after my workout right? In fact, that's why you are still here, because you are patiently waiting for me to come and give you your morning nutrient. So, in the count of three, you'll start licking me and worshipping my body until I tell you to stop, okay? One, two, three,"
Leo's dark brooding eyes quickly turned hungry and filled with lust as he's positioned on his knee while Jens sweaty body towered over him, showing him who's the boss in the situation and why Leo is nothing but a dutiful servant to fulfill all Jens desired. As the sweat dropped from Jens chin right to the confined erection beneath his black sweatpants, Leo then goes to town with his tongue as his hand started to slide down Jens pants while sniffing and licking Jens crotch intimately
Tumblr media
This is just the beginning of Jens utopia, and he's nowhere near finish

Okay, I'm an idiot!!! (Trollhunters Ending Revelation)
So, someone pointed this out to me recently and I just want to cry!! HERE ME OUT.............the ending to Rise of the Titans is actually better than you think cus there were some details I think were meant to be more obvious than they came across.
FIRST - We're all peeved that going back in time erased everyone's memories and therefore relationships and character development. However, when they go back Tobey is suddenly able to climb the rope in gym class and Claire seems to be paying attention more to Jim than last time. Especially when he is giving his speech at the audition, having a rewatch made me realize as soon as he starts speaking she has a look of recognition, almost like she thinks she's heard this speech somewhere before. Not only that but Barbara and Stickler got along incredibly quickly for 2 people who had only just met. These imply they have some sort of subconscious memory of the last timeline, WHICH considering Nari said time is NOT linear makes sense, cus if it was liner everything would be exactly the same as the first time without these subtle changes. Also, Nari said the ninth configuration is the key, the amulet would only work after they figured this out, if that's the case maybe Nari knew the amulet would to some degree protect them from complete amnesia, they just need to be 'woken up' so to speak. (Also since Merlin and Nari will be alive again they might actually be able to help with this too, especially Nari, she's the demi-god that gave them this advice for goodness sake!!!)
SECOND - The new amulet is 'For the good of all' which does tie directly into going back in time to save EVERYONE.
THIRD - Jim went back in time using the new Akiridion amulet, that means HE STILL HAS IT!!!! The message of the entire movie with Jim is that he now doesn't need the original amulet to be the Trollhunter, he always has been and always will be. Thats why the original amulet chose Toby instead of Jim the second time, it knows Jim doesn't need it anymore and can continue fighting as he is, he will ALWAYS be the Trollhunter with or without it. Jim also knows if he sticks to the original time things will end up the same and his friends that had died will still die, he's urging Toby to be the new Trollhunter to protect him in the coming fights.
There were a couple more points and details but honestly it's 3am and my ADHD brain has forgotten the rest and lost the TikTok I watched 😅
Overall tbh I'm still not happy with the ending, BUT having these pointed out has given me a different less hostile viewpoint on it. I certainly think it's plausible that this was intended but didn't come across very clearly to audiences (myself very much included). Either way, however you wanna interpret it I'm sticking with this as cannon cus if fills me with a lot more hope for the ending than how I originally felt and I don't know about you but I like feeling happy! 🤣

While Skeleton is going to pick up his child from school, he notices a group of tourists in front of the school. They grabbed his kid and prevented them from leaving, passing the poor traumatized skeleton from hand to hand to take random selfies, without asking for their consent or caring much for their health. They're treating his baby like a random animal to make views.
Undertale Sans - He teleports to the middle of the group and asks coldly the person who is holding his child to put them down. Sans quickly grabs them to hide them behind him, then asks for an explanation. He tries to stay chill, but it's hard as for a few photos, his kid might be traumatized for a while. He also asks they delete all the photos. If he sees one online, he's filling a report to Undyne. He then takes his child to have ice cream, so he can comfort them and get them to talk about their feelings.
Undertale Papyrus - Papyrus quickly diverts their attention by clowning around, so they focus on him and let his child go. He accepts to do a few selfies with them at the condition they erase the photos of his child. He's upset they didn't even ask his child for consent, but what else can he do? It happens often since they're on the Surface and nothing can stop them. He still comforts his child and reminds them to not talk to strangers.
Underswap Sans - He got a call at the police station from a concerned monster mother, but for sure didn't expect to see humans tormenting his own child. He struggles to stay calm as he starts to scream at the human. They all get a fine for this, and if one of them dares to say something, he's going to arrest them for kidnapping. Once they're all gone, he picks up his child and takes them back home, promising it won't happen again.
Underswap Papyrus - He runs and snatches his child from the stranger's hand, holding them close to his chest as he retreats, angry. The next day, he filed a report to the police station after the photo went online, asking his brother for help. He's as anxious as his child and feels guilty he wasn't there to prevent these horrible people from doing this. He's mad at the school as well. He wasn't there, so his kid shouldn't have find himself all alone in this situation. What were they thinking?!
Underfell Sans - His soul stops beating when he hears his kid cry and now he's only survival instincts. He stabs one of the people's legs with a sharp bone, grabs his kid, and throws them behind him, immediately protecting them behind two huge blasters. He warns the tourists to go on their way or it will end very badly, and he's dead serious. He can't believe something like this can happen and it's for sure doesn't help him to have trust in humanity. He's very protective of his child for the next weeks.
Underfell Papyrus - Fortunately, he is scary-looking. When he gets close, clearly angry, the tourists let go of the child and immediately leave, giving him annoyed stares as he picks up his child to make sure they have no injury. The child has a few bruises. One stupid tourist tells him that he was doing nothing wrong, and that's enough for Edge's patience to break. He starts to scream at them and threatens to send them all to court. He doesn't want to scare his child so he holds the terrible need to kill all of them, but he's furious.
Horrortale Sans - All he sees is his child in danger, and when his baby cries for him as they notice him, Oak loses it completely. He attacks without warning, lunging at the first person on his way. All the tourists got badly injured and stabbed multiple times, some were even close to dying. Realizing he might get in trouble, Oak quickly retreats, even using teleportation to get out of there faster, despite how much energy it costs. He runs to his brother to ask for advice, because he messed up really bad. The kid is even more traumatized by the scene they witnessed. Everything went the worst it could be. Oak is agitated as well and can't calm down, even when his brother tries to tell him he did what he could. Oak will get in trouble with the police eventually, but Willow, Toriel and Grillby will fight the best they can to get him out of this mess.
Horrortale Papyrus - Willow puts his gigantic hang on one of the tourists' shoulders and simply stares severe. He's bluffing hard right now to scare them off and it works quite quickly, as his size is quite impressive. Willow didn't even need to say anything. He kneels next to his child to comfort them and apologizes for being late. He then consults the child to see if they want him to go tell the police, and explain to them why what they did is really wrong. He lets his child choose.
Swapfell Sans - The humans got excited seeing him because he's a short skeleton as well, but they for sure didn't expect Nox to smile, and then bite one of their arms at full force, with all his sharp fangs. Want to treat them like animals? He'll show you some animalistic attacks. What is creepy is that Nox stays calm the whole time, trying to not make his child more scared. Eventually, the humans have to retreat. Nox takes his child back home, then goes to his cave. He hunts the humans down and, now that his kid is not around, makes sure to scare them enough so they never do that again. And they're lucky he didn't report them to the Queen, because they'll be dead by the morning.
Swapfell Papyrus - He tries to stay cool and asks the tourist to let go of his child, trying to clown around to get what he wants, which works eventually thanks to his funny face. After making sure his kid is fine and safe, he hunts the human down and ruins their lawn with dog poops. He also throws eggs on all the windows. He really doesn't care :D
Fellswap Gold Sans - Wine is not amused. He asks once for his child, if they ignore him, he takes out the blasters and asks them to reconsider. He even shouts one of them as an example. What are you going to do? Call the police? Will you be fast enough before he kills all of you? Wine simply smiles. He's the only one in control of the situation. The humans end up running for their lives, and Wine's kid is unsure whether going with his dad is really safe right now. Don't mess with Wine.
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Big nightmare right now. With his anxiety, Coffee doesn't manage to convince the tourists to let go, and even end as a tourist attraction himself, while in the middle of a panic attack. Both father and child get out of there pretty traumatized. Coffee needs to talk to his brother about this. Wine is not going to be happy and let's just say the tourists strangely disappear the next day.

Headcanons for OFA stockpiles beauty, tddk version, please.
1- ok so dorms happen earlier in the first semester, after the revelation that Shigaraki carries a picture around of Izuku and the winged nomu targeted him to carry off. But in the meantime while they're being built, UA is like 'maybe we should get this kid a protective detail or someone at least watching him off campus'. Tenya and Shoto are both in the hospital room while that's discussed, and both immediately offer their connections- but with the Iida family focusing on their sons right now, it makes more sense to see if they can take the Todorokis up on it instead. Which means that now, Izuku is alternating between staying with All Might (doesn't want to impose or run more of his time down) or the Todorokis (also doesn't want to impose, but its nice to get to know his friend more!)
2- Enji isn't thrilled about the protective detail, but he figures pretty quickly this kid's got some connection to All Might and would like to figure out what- and uh yeah Shoto's crush on him is as obvious as it is understandable, so he wants to keep an eye on that to make sure he isn't distracted now that he's finally using his fire.
He is very specific about Izuku getting a guest room in a different wing of the house from Shoto.
It doesn't matter much, since they spend a lot of time out with friends after school or together in the living room or dojo anyway.
3- Fuyumi decides to try and help her brother out, asking Izuku a couple questions while he's helping her cook and Shoto's gone to visit Rei one Sunday. She says she's sure he's the heartbreaker of his class, any datemate?
Izuku laughs uncomfortably, says no, but gets why she asked- its a side effect of his quirk, he isn't really as attractive as it seems, no one is actually likes him, just the quirk tricking them too.
Fuyumi gets very quiet and very serious, and says she's sorry. Sometimes, quirks don't seem worth the trouble, and he's in hard spot- but she's sure at some point, someone will see the real him, and like the real him, besides from the glamour. Izuku thanks her, and after dinner Fuyumi pulls Shoto aside to bring up the quirk and if he thinks he's under the effect of it, or if he has a real crush on him.
Shoto stares at her, and says he doesn't have a crush on Izuku, he's just objectively attractive and a brilliant friend.
Fuyumi realizes he's as oblivious as Izuku, and both beyond her help.
4- Shoto realizes that night that Fuyumi was right, but as a youngest sibling is physically incapable of admitting that so soon, and decides to simply act as if it was a slowburn unrelated to anything she said, and that itll probably be easy, since Izuku is so clearly over any attempts to woo him. He doesn't want to be pushy. He doesn't want Izuku to feel like Rei. So instead, he just acts friendly. Gets him All Might merch for his birthday, keeps a poker face when Izuku joins them in the hot spring at camp even if he cant quite control the temperature reaction, and keeps a lookout/causes distractions to make having quiet meetings with All Might easier for him.
5- Ok i dont know how but imagine whatever convoluted scenario needs to happen for Izuku to get shot with a temporary eraser bullet. this is mostly because he deserves to go feral and smart and fight quirkless again, but also because everyone realizes he does look/seem different this way, until the glamour comes back- everyone except Shoto, who didn't notice a difference and says it, which startles some tears out of Izuku only for him to bury that deep, deep down because he's got a while before he's gonna confront the mortifying ordeal of having a crush of his own

I have been thinking about FCG and Imogen's dynamic and how much it changed and i have talked about it in tags a couple of times
Like it changed from both of them going "there is something really wrong with you and you don't realize it, so i will help you fix it" to echother. And now they are both very much on a standstill and kinda waiting for the other to the other to "come to their senses"
I have a feeling that something is going to happen and they are gonna start arguing and snapping at each other, because there is a really fun tension forming between the two of them and their own arrogance is keeping them at bay
So here's the thing: I don't actually think FCG is acting this way towards Imogen! I think it's mostly one-sided and coming from Imogen, whereas FCG is kind of just rolling along doing their own thing.
FCG's arc so far has been one of learning their purpose and the truth about the demise of their party, which was obviously traumatic, but they were met with the support of Bells Hells and Imahara Joe and encouraged heavily to make their own path - and found a deity who represents exactly that: possibility, change, and chance. While his path towards faith has definitely been a weird one with its share of incorrect assumptions, it's also helped him through a lot of difficult circumstances, and it's been rewarded with the attention of the Changebringer. They also met FRIDA and were able to make a strong connection with them very quickly, and while they're still figuring things out, there's a sense of peace about it. FCG still does care about other people, but he's started to consider his own needs in a way he previously didn't and tentatively embrace personhood, and can see a way forward.
Imogen, on the other hand, despite learning much more about the source of her powers, knows less about what she wants now. Originally, she hoped to learn where they came from, and she wanted to be rid of them - or at least, she thought she wanted to be rid of him (Imogen's feelings about power lead me to believe she never actually wanted to be rid of them entirely, just, understandably, the downsides). She now knows that she is Ruidusborn, with all that entails...and the party is fighting most of the Ruidusborn, and the source of her powers. And, to be clear, I absolutely think the party is right, but Imogen finds herself wanting the thing she thought she didn't want (Ruidusborn powers). And whereas the party has largely been tolerant, if not always enthused with FCG's explorations of religion, Imogen feeling out the Ruby Vanguard was met with vehement opposition. Which, again, is fair, because FCG is saying some theologically incorrect and perhaps annoying to some but ultimately harmless shit about a canonically good-aligned deity, whereas Imogen was entertaining siding with a murderous group of cultists responsible for the deaths of Orym's husband, Orym himself, Fearne, and Laudna; but I can see why she felt upset about it.
I think Imogen is intensely jealous of FCG, actually, and she knows it's irrational, which only makes it feel worse. FCG is embracing personhood in a way she doesn't like, but that's the whole point of personhood, isn't it? To make the choices that are right for you, considering the needs of your friends but not erasing yourself to accommodate them. FCG has received support, and even a relationship with someone who can uniquely understand them - in fact, even more so, after this last episode, in which FRIDA has also killed at the command of Aeor. FCG, when unsure about their purpose and agency, received gentle guidance and encouragement to take their time and figure out who they wanted to be. Imogen, when plagued with doubt, has received none of that. She's been yelled at by Ashton and Orym (again: valid of Ashton and Orym, but we're focusing on Imogen's perspective and the fact that she probably even realizes they were right, but that doesn't help her actually feel better). She's constantly told by her closest friend (whose own darker power source was seemingly eliminated without ill effects) that she's "very capable" or that she's always been able to make her own decisions, both responses which give Imogen no room to actually grapple with that doubt and have a chance to address it head-on.
FCG didn't know what they wanted at the beginning, and has found an incredibly validating purpose and a companion who understands many of their struggles. Imogen got precisely what she thought wanted - she even now has a magical item that does take away some of the worst effects of her powers - and it's unsatisfying. She's full of resentment and she knows it's misdirected. I don't even think she's waiting for FCG to come to their senses. I think she just wants to feel what he feels and have what he has, but pursuing the gods isn't right for her, so she's lashing out.

Darling Death
A collaboration with @sufferingstarlight
Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4
Warnings: toxic male behavior, talks and mentions of death and dying, cemetery, not proof read
Chapter 5 - Day 5
"So, grim reapers can cook too? Let me add that to the list of random abilities you seem to possess," I said as I took in the array of food on the dining room table. Bacon, eggs, oatmeal. "You made pancakes too?"
"Actually, they're crepes." He seemed proud of himself, but also the slightest bit timid, like he wanted to make sure everything was to my liking. He stood in the entry way as I took a seat. I filled my plate with three glorious pieces of bacon, a hearty scoop of eggs and two of the crepes-not-pancakes.
"I gotta say," I said, as I shoveled a fork full of the stuff into my mouth. "Pancakes are better." I looked up, my cheeks stuffed with food. Timothee stood there, staring at me, a hint of a smile plastered on his face and I realized he looked more like he was lost in thought...and maybe admiring me. He quickly realized I noticed shook his head, as if erasing the expression from ever existing.
"Are you not gonna eat?" I asked, suddenly feeling embarrassed about the amount of food I had on my plate.
"I don't really need to eat," Timothee said, shrugging. "But I'll sit with you."
I watched him as he walked effortlessly to the table, if I didn't hear the slightest clack of his shoes on my hardwood floor, I would have assumed he was floating. He pulled out a chair and took a seat.
"Lemme guess, grim reapers feed off of a portion of the dead's souls, giving them sustenance until the next victim they reap passes?"
"Yes, actually."
My eyes snapped up, meeting his. There was a mixture of seriousness and amusement in them, and it was a mixture that made my stomach flip in a way that I wasn't expecting. This time I shook my head and scooped up the rest of my food with my fork.
"You're fucking weird, man. Speaking of, I've got work today and a date tomorrow, so would you mind keeping the gloomy stalker show to a minimum? I can't have another outburst like I did the other day. Josie is already sick of my shit as it is."
When he didn't respond I looked back over at him. His hands were in white knuckled fists on the table, if he were holding a glass, I'm sure it would have shattered into a million pieces. His dark hair curled over his eyes, so this time I couldn't make out their demeanor, though if it matched his fists, it wasn't a good sign.
"A date? Really Y/n?" Timothee finally said.
"Uhm, yeah? Why is there some rule that bars me from going on a date before I die?"
"No, but maybe I should make one," he said under his breath.
"What was that?" I asked, hearing every word he'd said. Was he jealous? All he was supposed to be here for was collecting my soul.
"Nothing. Is this date with a boyfriend?"
"Not that it's any of your business," I said even though the thought of Tristan and I being more than just friends almost made my breakfast come back up. "He's an old friend that's liked me for at least a decade. Last week, before you showed up, I agreed to give him a chance over dinner and a movie."
"So, there's no boyfriend?"
"Why do you care?" I pretended to be annoyed.
He smirked at my tone, and even though the fact that he seemed so interested in my love life, or lack thereof, should have bothered me, it did the exact opposite.
"I don't. It's just that sometimes the goodbyes are messy when there's a lover involved, so you might not want to make him any promises on this 'date'." He put the last word in finger quotes.
The rest of that day went by shockingly quick and uneventful, though Timothee couldn't resist a casual jump scare or two. He'd walk behind me, unknown to anyone else and run a finger across the back of my neck or blow into my ear. Each tease made me want him to push me against a wall again, run his nose against my neck and breath my 'underworldly' scent in. And weirdly enough, I started to like the sound of that.
Darling, you smell like the underworld.
Day 5
I slid on my strappy black dress, the one I pretty much reserved for dates, disappointed that Timothee wasn't around to see it on me. I hadn't seen much of him, which was weird considering I couldn't get rid of him lately. I tried to push away that feeling. The feeling of missing someone you have no right to. The empty chest feeling that is only cured by one person's presence.
The only thing I didn't like about that dress was how much it showed. It wasn't as revealing as it could be, but it still showed the one part of me I always tried to cover. My collar bones. It wasn't that they were bad, they were actually quite nice. It was the dark, swirling birthmark staining my skin on my left collar bone. I'd tried everything from makeup and concealers, that eventually just melted off of it. To removal that even lasers couldn't touch. It was just...a part of me. Every time I wore this dress, I watched as my date's eyes travel down to it. Normally, I'd wear a cardigan to cover it up, but with mine and Tristan's fifteen years of friendship, he saw it before.
I made my way to the semi-fancy Italian restaurant, already limping in the heels I shouldn't have worn. It wasn't until I walked inside and met Tristan at the table, he already reserved for us, that Timothee took a seat. Right next to Tristan. I wasn't unaware to Timothee's eyes sweeping over my body. The last few days he'd only seen me in casual clothes, nothing this fancy. Then I saw it. His eyes locked on my birthmark.
I shot him a look, the irritation evident in my eyes and face. Tristan looked in the direction of Timothee, a confused look on his face, but, of course, couldn't see him. Tritan looked around the room, wondering who I could be giving this look of disdain to. Little did he know he was sitting right next to him.
"Thanks for giving me this chance," Tristain said.
I hid my cringe. Why did he make it seem like he was interviewing for a job.
"We've been friends forever, Tris, why wouldn't I give you a chance."
Beside Tristan, Timothee rolled his eyes. He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms, watching me in amusement.
Tristan perked up at my answer, hope filling his eyes. Timothee pushed out his bottom lip into a pout shook his head in mock sadness. Then I remembered what he said the day before. Don't make any promises. So instead, I just smiled at him.
We placed our orders and drank our drinks awkwardly while we waited. I hated how strange this felt, even if Timothee wasn't sitting in between us, Tristan and I had dinner together many times, why did he have to make something as causal as eating food together feel so different this time.
"So, y/n," Tristan said, breaking my train of thought. "I've been thinking and, I really think you should open up a bit."
Timothee made a face of mock shock and put an index finger to his mouth in thought.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, not able to hide the slight attitude brewing inside of me.
"It means I know you like me. And for some reason you won't let me in. So, I think tonight is the night that that happens."
"Let you in? Wha the fu-"
Sensing the mood, the waiter approached with our plates and politely placed them in front of us and walked away without asking any questions.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I finished my sentence.
"It means that this is the way the rest of tonight is going to go: we're going to eat this food, and I'm going to pay for it. Then we're going to go to the movie you picked out at 8, which I am also paying for, then you're going to take me to your house and we're going to do what I say from that point on."
I was shocked into silence, my mouth hanging open in disbelief. I'd known Tristan for fifteen years and he'd never once acted this way. I looked over at Timothee and I almost wished I hadn't. His face was almost dark with rage. His eyes normally a greenish-blue color was now completely black. His furrowed and close to his eyes and he worked his jaw in a way that I'd only seen people do before a fight. Then, he stood up, the chair behind him fell to the ground causing Tristan and a few people in the surrounding area to gasp. Our waiter came over and picked up the chair and whispered a polite and confused "I'm sorry." Timothee made his way to the front of the restaurant and slid out of the door once a busboy held it open for a older couple to come in. And suddenly, I felt a lot less safe without him sitting at the table with me. This new side of Tristan seemed sinister.
Tristan shoveled a ravioli into his mouth, glaring at me. "Are you not going to eat?"
"I'm not hungry," I said through my teeth.
The door opened again, and I heard the sound of a familiar voice. I turned around and there he was, Timothee. My grim reaper. I didn't hide the smile on my face, I couldn't help it. This time it was clear everyone in the room could see him. I watched as he spoke in a whisper to the busboy at the door. Timothee glanced in my direction and winked. Then the busboy looked over at us and nodded. Instant relief flooded my entire being.
I wasn't sure how he was able to change so quickly, but he was now wearing a very expensive looking suit, all black with small accents of red and a pin attached to the collar that was none other than a scythe. The entire restaurant quieted and watched as he walked, in seemingly slow motion, to our table. All eyes, including mine and including Tristan's were on him. The busboy followed behind and quickly pulled out the chair that Timothee was sitting in moments before.
"Y/n," Timothee greeted me, pulling my hand into his and kissing the top of it. Already, I felt my core turn molten. His lips felt like fire and ice on my skin.
"Who is this man?" Tristain said, disgusted.
"You must be Tristain," Timothee said extending a hand. When Tristain didn't take it, he elegantly curled his fingers into a first. "I'd say it's a pleasure to meet you, but it's unfortunately the exact opposite. Tell me, does it bring you pleasure to try and take advantage of women, or do you do it because your dick is small?"
I snorted and spat out some of my drink. I could see Timothe's smirk forming along his profile.
"Excuse you?"
"What do they call that these days? Small dick energy?"
I covered my mouth with my palm, resisting the urge to laugh.
"Who are you?"
"I'm a...close friend of y/n's." Timothee said, putting an emphasis on the word close that made me bite my lip.
"Wow, I've waited all this time for you to give me a chance y/n and you just take in some twink off the street?"
"Tristain!"
Timothee shrugged, "I've been called worse." Then he leaned in closer, luckily the rest of the restaurant went back to their food and conversations. "Allow me to tell you how the rest of tonight is going to go..." Timothee's gaze hardened and instantly Tristan's eyes glossed over, his mouth hung open, and he was transfixed on Timothee, as if he was being hypnotized. "You're going to get up from here and you're going to leave."
"I was just about to leave, yeah," Tristan said calmly.
"And when you leave, you will not contact y/n again."
"Who?"
"Good, good," Timothee praised and selfishly I wished it was me he was praising instead. Then, he took a fistful of Tristans shirt and pulled him closer, "and if you do," Timothee spoke so softly I could barely hear what he said. "I will kill you myself. And trust me, you don't want to see what kind of death a reaper is capable of."
Tristan nodded and stood up and waved. "Enjoy your meal," he said as he made his way to the door. I watched until he left, waited a few minutes to be sure he wouldn't reappear and turned back around. Timothee was already sitting in his seat.
"Will he be, okay?" I asked.
"You still care about that?"
"I mean I don't want him to die on the way home. He seemed out of it."
"Unfortunately, he'll be fine."
The waiter stopped by and took away Tristan's plate. Timothee nodded politely and focused back on me.
"You don't own me you know," I said, in a voice that should have sounded headstrong but was anything but. As time went on it seemed more and more to me like that's exactly what I wanted. "You're just here to collect my soul."
"Technically, I do. I am sent here to watch you, look over you until your time is up. I am meant to protect you. Though, this situation is unlike one I have ever encountered."
"How do you mean?" I asked.
"You should eat," Timothee said, changing the subject. "Eat your dinner, and I'll take you to that movie."
"Okay, but you have to keep talking."
Timothee nodded. Only resuming the conversation once I scooped a bite of lasagna into my mouth.
"Most of the souls, at least everyone I've collected have not been able to see me. I wasn't expecting it to have this type of effect on me."
I swallowed my lasagna hard as he said the words.
"I don't own you. No," he started, then reached out and brushed my hair away from my collar bone. He let his finger graze my birthmark. I shudderd at the touch. "But I'd like to. Very much."
Fuck.
He scooted up, his chest flush against his side of the table and one of knees made their way in between my legs. He dropped a long arm beneath the table and slid his palm up my leg. I dropped my fork. "I wish I could be the blood that traveled through your veins, the air that you breath into your lungs." His index finger grazed my core through my panties and I jumped, hypersensitive to the touch. My plate clanging against the table, my glass tipping over.
"Can we go?" I pleaded.
"Eat your food. All of it."
I started to protest.
"Or do I need to feed it to you?"
I shoveled in the rest of my lasagna and downed my entire diet coke. My skin tingling as Timothee gave me small touches under the table. We walked out moments later, my knees weak. Timothee laced an arm around my waist, holding my up and against him. His temperature freezing against my hot skin. We began walking in the direction of the movie theater, but somehow between soft touches and him pressing his nose into my hair we strayed off the path.
"Look!" I said, pointing to a cemetery. "Let's go in there."
"What about your movie," Timothee called after me.
"It's already 8:35, it's already started."
"I loathe cemeteries," Timothee groaned.
"What!?" I pulled his cold hand into mine and drug him into the foggy gates of the local cemetery. "A grim reaper scared of a graveyard!? This is where the bodies of all those souls you take go!"
"I didn't say I was scared. I just don't like them."
"Why?" I teased. It was getting dark, the cemetery would close soon, but for some reason I felt compelled to go in there. Like I needed to be there. "If you're scared say you're scared." I climbed upon a stone bench next to a large oak tree. Timothee stood in front of me and for the first time I was eye level with him. Then it hit me. "I've got eight days to live." I said it out lout without even meaning to. "Eight days to live and...I've not even gotten the chance to live."
Timothee looked at me and maybe it was because we were eye level for the first time, but it seemed like he really saw me. "If it makes you feel any better," he said, taking my arms and draping them over his shoulders. He circled his around my waist, pulling my closer into him. He ducked his head slightly, running his nose along my chest, stopping at my birth mark. He kissed it lightly causing my back to arch. His touch there felt like dark magic and sin. "I wish it was anyone other than you."
"Why?"
"Because now that I know you exist, I don't want you to cease to."
And before his lips found mine, they hovered there, his cold breath swirling and mixing with my warm breath, becoming too intoxicating for me to pretend I didn't need him now. His lips skated across mine effortlessly, like a dance we'd practiced for eternity. My hands slid into his dark, curly hair. I wrapped my legs around his waist, earning a soft groan from him. He turned us around and sat on the bench. He kissed me like it was the first and last kiss he'd ever have. Like sadness and hope mixed together to form a melancholy war between life and death.
A kiss can change a human life. And that one did.

Oooh sub Max, my fav
Can I propose a new sub max au? It’s off season and Max wants to blow off some steam, he doesn’t have a dom at the moment, it’s hard to keep up with it during the season but he’s a little desperate so he goes to one of London’s top bdsm clubs. It’s one where your membership has to be approved and NDA’s need to be signed before you can even step through the door. He is itching to be dommed though so he does it. He’s got a pretty (but slightly basic) collar on to show his position but no lock or tag. He’s a bit bored, everyone seems to be a little intimidated by him when it clicks who he is. He’s about ready to give up when he accidentally knocks someone’s drink all over them. He tries to keep his eyes on the floor and stay respectful like a good little sub but the tattoos on the man’s hands are all too familiar. He feels a little dizzy with it when he realizes that it’s Lewis. Lewis who already knows exactly who managed to spill his drink all over his leather suit. But he’s quite enamored with blonde trying to stumble his way through an apology. Max can feel Lewis zeroing in on the collar and he feels so embarrassed, he doesn’t want his rival to judge him. But Lewis quickly erases that fear by asking if he wants to play. Luckily it’s off season, so Lewis can leave as many marks as he wants, and Max is desperate for some marks
Nngg yes!
Max has his hopes up when he goes to the club, it's rare he finds a good dom that is willing to scene with him but surely in this very high end club, there will be more famous people, who won't be terrified of him.
Max wearing a little collar to signall he is a sub, and an unclaimed one as he isnt wearing a tag. Everyone keeps coming over but then leaving when they realise who he is, even the simple little lace strip he wears over hid eyes does little to confuse them
Max running into someone as he wants to leave and spilling a drink over an all leather outfit and he blushes a deep red. Not only did he not find a dom tonight, he now also probably pissed one off! He panics even more ehen he sees familiar tattoos on the doms hands and he ducks his head down as he apologises, hoping Lewis will pretend not to have seen him. Lewis gently touching the collar and then the lace little mask and telling Max he looks good. Lewis has seen everyone avoiding Max so he asks to scene with him, is curious about what he will be like.
Max agrees but asks to go to the private rooms then, doesn't feel like showing off to all these people that didn't want him. He is nervous Lewis will be cruel, even though he likes it rough, but Lewis first talks to him calmly about what Max wants and what Lewis can give. MX whispering he loves spanking and Lewis grins and shows the bag of personalised whips and paddles he brought!
They definitely would have a lot of fun, and Lewis ends up going home with Max just to make sure he gets plenty after care and to make sure he isn't hurt!

Okay, I have something for the "Red String of Fate" prompt. Fucking hell. Here goes:
"Gold String of Fate"
Most witches have a single red string of fate, connected to their hearts. It's supposed to lead them to their true love, the person they're meant to be with. It's not always visible, only when you pay really close attention are you able to see it. It doesn't lead you directly to your person, sometimes it just pulls you gently in the right direction; helping you a little but also letting you figure it out on your own.
Some witches, with hearts meant to love more than one, would have multiple red strings that connected them to different partners in different ways. Witches like Lilith Clawthorne had no red string, for they felt complete and secure without one, they felt no need for a romantic soulmate, instead filling their life with platonic ones.
Willow and Amity, they were different. They were a special case.
The string on Amity's heart was purple.
The string on Willow's heart was gold.
When the two were kids and they were still friends, they would look at their strings and wonder why theirs were different from the pictures and the stories. They felt a kinship with each other, a comfort that, at the very least, they weren't the only odd ones around. Even if they didn't know the answer to this mystery, they were in this together.
They looked in books and crystal balls, searching for answers. Apparently, centuries ago, there had once been a witch whose heart string had been black, but the information on her was scarce. Almost as if someone had tried to erase her from history.
They asked their parents and teachers, but they had no information. Amity's parents made her promise she would only marry a powerful, successful witch that could help them with the family business.
Amity's parents also made her leave her only real friend.
Now abandoned, alone and bullied by her classmates, Willow looked at her string and wondered if there truly was someone out there meant for her. If there was someone out there who would fall in love with Half A Witch.
_______________________________________
Years passed and Luz the human arrived at the Boiling Isles, quickly discovering a purple string that only she could see. Eda had explained it to her and she had been incredibly excited to learn that she was predestined to fall in love with a witch.
At first, the pull of the string wasn't really obvious. They were both too distracted to notice it. But Luz always felt an inexplicable need to follow Amity around whenever she saw her, she felt that she had to go wherever she went. Around the time of Grom, Amity started to feel the pull as well.
And the string kept pulling and pulling until they finally realized where it was leading them. Towards each other.
Now Amity knew why her heart string was a different color! Her soulmate was a human!
Which led Willow to wonder, was that why her heart string was a different color, too? Was her soulmate also a non-witch? Her true love was another species?
What were they? Another human? A demon? Willow thought, she wouldn't mind falling in love with a demon as long as they weren't too grotesque. Or maybe one day Luz would show her around the human world and intoduce her to a human friend who would be her match.
Or maybe her soulmate was another creature entirely.

Meanwhile, on the palace, Hunter had grown to ignore the gold string pulling at his heart. The Golden Guard was not meant to be concerned with silly things like romance or relationships! He was too worried about helping his uncle, making him proud, fulfilling the big plans the Titan had for him.
His uncle said that love was a weakness! That his heart was only supposed to devote itself fully to the coven and nothing else. When Hunter had asked, at the tender age of 5, how his parents had fallen in love, let's just say that Belos had not been eager to give him a clear answer.
So, Hunter concluded, it didn't matter if he had a string or what color it was. He had more important things to worry about.
And it wasn't like anyone would be soulbound to someone like him.
_________________________________________
"After all, it'll be 52 weeks till Caleb's next day off,"
The Emerald Entrails walked away. Gus looked back, confused, unsure of what to make of him. The other 3 didn't look back at all. Hunter watched them leave, his cheeks slightly flushed, but he didn't know why.
He felt a strange pull, a small, subtle thing that could easily be dismissed. But it was telling him to follow them. He stared, feeling the need to go after them... To go after her? But, at the end, he stayed.
Because he didn't know what that feeling meant yet.
_______________________________________
When he saw her again ... or rather, he thought he saw her again, they were in the corridors of Hexside. He was wearing his old uniform, dirty and torn. He hadn't showered in days and his hair was terrible. And damn it.
He forgot how beautiful she was in real life.
He felt his cheeks go red, but he also felt off. He expected something to pull at him, to guide him closer to her. He expected that pulling feeling but it never came.
Somehow, he knew in his heart right off the bat, that wasn't her. She was a fake.
And he was right.
_____________________________________
"I was with Gus the whole time! There was a sandwich... he showed me this breathing thing... please you gotta believe me!"
The breathing exercise. The breathing exercise her parents had taught her when she was a kid and that she had in turn taught Gus.
There was no way Hunter could be lying about that. How else would he know? He had to be telling the truth.
She had never been sure whether or not to trust this odd boy that had literally flown into her life. Whenever she thought she had him figured out, he showed another new detail that confused her even more. She had no idea what to make of him.
But, in that moment, she felt something pulling at her. Just a little bit. A feeling in her heart told her to trust him. To believe in him. And she decided to trust that feeling.
_________________________________
"I'm gonna have to borrow that book when you're done with it."
As she left, closing the door behind her, Hunter felt a pull coming from his heart again. He had been feeling it for months. He knew what it meant now.
She was his soulmate.
The golden string. Oh, what an ironic color fate had chosen for him.
The golden string was pulling him towards Willow.
He had taken a while to figure it out but now he understood. And the Grimwalker was overjoyed, for he could not have asked for a better soulmate.
He wondered if she felt the pull towards him, too, but he wouldn't dare talk to her about it. He didn't want to put more on her plate, what with having to build a portal and missing her parents. Hunter knew it wasn't the right time to talk to her about this.
And a part of him was also scared if she would be unhappy to be soulbound to a Grimwalker.
_______________________________________
"Do human doctors know about possession?!"
"Or Grimwalkers?"
"POSSESSION?!"
"GRIMWALKERS?!"
Willow wasn't exactly sure what a Grimwalker was. She remembered reading about them at school long ago. They weren't humans, they weren't witches either. But a third, secret thing.
Hunter was a Grimwalker? He wasn't a witch?
That made so much sense. That explained so much.
____________________________________
Gold.
Gold.
Her heart string was gold.
It was so obvious, it was so clear now.
How had she not seen it before?
__________________________________
"Hey, Hunter? Can we talk? In private?"
The C.A.T.'s hideout was bigger now that it was located on the old Clawthorne home. It had room for a lot more members, which was nice and comfortable. Or at least it would be if they weren't hiding from The Collector. There were lots of empty rooms that allowed for privacy.
"What's up, Captain?" Hunter asked, sitting down on the bed.
"This is completely out of nowhere and I know the timing is super off but I'd rather talk about it now than get killed in battle tomorrow and never get to talk about it."
The boy's smile faded. His Captain only made that tone of voice when it was something truly serious.
"What's wrong?"
"You know the red string of fate?"
"Of course, everyone knows about those."
"I have one, obviously... but mine is a little weird..."
Hunter's ears perked up. If she wanted to talk about the red string of fate... had she figured out they were soulmates? Did she feel the pull, too? Was she happy or disappointed?
"What do you mean?"
"My heart string is not red, like a normal heart string, it's gold," she explained "and I never understood why, but lately I've been feeling the pull and, when I found out you were a Grimwalker, that's when I knew where it was leading me..."
Here goes.
"It was leading to you. Hunter, I think you're my soulmate," she finished, peridot eyes shining with fresh tears, smile brighter than the moonlight coming from the window.
"Yes, and how does that make you feel?"
Willow stopped crying and smiling. She looked bewildered.
"Why aren't you more surprised? I'd figure you'd be shocked... did you already know?"
Hunter nodded. "I've been feeling the pull, too. I felt it the night after we first met. I've been feeling it all this time."
"What?! You knew we were soulmates?! You've known for months?! You didn't say anything?!"
"I'm sorry," he said, softly. Genuinely remorseful. "I just... I wasn't sure how you were gonna react."
"You weren't sure how I was going to react?!" She repeated "Hunter, I'm obviously thrilled to be your soulmate. You have no idea, how overjoyed I am that it's you."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, dummy!" She laughed "you're brave and you're funny and you're kind and you're passionate. You're somehow the smartest and dumbest witch I know at the same time. You're a great friend and you'll surely be an amazing soulmate."
Hunter laughed, relief filling his lungs as the weight fell from his shoulders. He stood up and hugged Willow as strongly as he could. She hugged him back. He was so lucky, he had the most wonderful witch ever as his soulmate, and she was equally happy to have him.
"I love you," he said, sure that there would never be a better opportunity to say it.
"I love you, too."
The kiss that followed felt like shivers and dragonflies in both their stomachs. Like warmth on their cheeks and somehow both calm and fear at the same time. The pull from their heart strings ceased, the string didn't need to keep pulling anymore. They'd finally found each other.

We Are Mates!
Chapter 1: A Friend In Need
Y/N's POV
I was walking down the hallway of Heritage High (A/N-This school is completely made up for the story) to meet up with my friend Cisco. A little information about him. He is the sweetest guy who is friends with me for me and not my powers. Unfortunately, he was in a car accident last year which paralyzed him. Now, everyone bullies him for no reason, which makes me hate humanity. Also, I by the way view more as my brother, which makes me very protective of him, than my own brother Urvano. My whole family treats me like a second-class citizen or poorer, but they don't have the nerve to actually do anything to me for fear I might kill them with my powers. Though what they don't know is that I'll never do that, for I don't want their rotten blood in my mouth. I don't know why they hate me so much, probably for my powers of being able to transform into any prehistoric animal, ranging from dinosaurs to the animals from the Ice Age period. I always found my powers cool, so why couldn't they also? They also seem to hate the fact that I'm an omega, but don't act like one. They always believe that omegas should listen and not be heard and be treated like they are slaves. Like how they use to be before a law was passed to protect omegas. I hate my fucking family, and I can't wait to be 18 to finally move out, but I need them for housing and their money.
When I finally arrived at the usual meeting spot, I couldn't find Cisco, which caused me great distress. I am dreading on the thought of why he wasn't here. It was then that I heard him shouting around the corner, which caused me to go running to see what was happening to him. As soon as I saw what was happening, I saw red. Jason and his girlfriend, Sarah, had pushed him out of his wheelchair and started laughing at him. I was walking towards them with a murderous aura surrounding me. When they saw me, they quickly stopped laughing and backed away, but it was too late. I had already transformed into my Velociraptor form and charged them. They ran screaming in a direction I knew to be the principal's office. I quickly transformed back and ran to help Cisco back into his wheelchair. He gave me this look, telling me that I was going to get into trouble. I gave him a smile to tell him that I'll always be there to protect him.
"You know that this is your last strike, right, you'll be expelled for this," he told me.
"Yeah, I know, but I couldn't sit there and do nothing, while they picked on you for something you had no control over," I told him with a sad smile. He nodded his head, knowing about my protective side. That is when I heard the dreaded voice of the principle, and let's just say he is not happy is an understatement. I walked into his office, where he proceeded to yell at me for the stunt I pulled. I just stared at him with a blank expression. Once he was finished, he looked at me and saw a smirk on my face, which irked him even more and told me that I was expelled and to pack my stuff from my locker and wait for my parents. I gave a goodbye hug to Cisco after I got my stuff from my locker and proceeded to the front entrance. It took about two hours for my parents to come pick me up. I saw that they had an angry expression on their ugly faces, and I smirked at them. I could tell they wanted to slap my face to erase the smirk, but they are still afraid of me, which still amuses me.
"That is it Y/N, you are going to Nevermore, we can't handle this anymore," my dad screamed. I didn't reply, just simply smirked at him. His face was red with anger. We started to drive back to the house, where I proceeded to pack my stuff for the journey to Nevermore. This is when I realized that my chances of meeting my soulmates popped into my head. I paused and went pale. They are no doubt are going to be alphas, which caused me to be distressed. I do not want to meet my mates, and if they are there, I'll just avoid them at all costs. Oh, what I didn't know is that my soulmates are going to be my roommates as well. After I have packed my stuff, we proceed to the car to pack it up with my stuff and head on down the road to my misery.

Talk Shop Tuesday: How did your Eobard vs Eobard series first come about?
Eobard vs Eobard (AKA the Herobard series ^_^ ) came in part from curiosity about what the future Eobard was trying to get back to in S1 was like now that he'd altered the timeline so much. Would Eobard's own life even have played out the same way he remembered or would it be different? And if it was different, could the Eobard of this timeline even be considered the same person as the Eobard of the OG timeline?
It also came in part because Eobard has a habit of getting in his own way over the course of the series and wouldn't it be funny if it was even more literal? Eobard isn't getting what he wants because a literal second Eobard is busy getting it all first - his own worst enemy is himself and he doesn't even realize it.
From there I looked back over the DC wikis to refresh my memory on the various comics Eobard backstories to decide how I wanted the new timeline Eobard's life to diverge from old timeline Eobard's. And I quickly decided that of course new Eobard was going to love his brother a lot - in fact part of his identity he built while recovering from his parents abuse would revolve around being a good big brother. Comics Eobard erased Robern from existence, something that EoWells will have done in his timeline, so it was important that new Eobard not only didn't erase Robern but was incredibly close with him.
Gideon was also someone I wanted new Eobard to have with him. EoWells has a Gideon so I wanted to keep that parallel. I wanted this Gideon to have a different origin point, so instead of coming from the Flash Museum via theft she became an AI companion Eobard's parents gave him in an attempt to fix his social development - it both helped with defining the kind of abuse Eobard primarily suffered from his parents - neglect and verbal abuse - but also meant that Gideon had been Eobard's closest companion from a very young age. About nine or ten, not too long before Robern was born, probably given by Eobard's parents as an attempt to 'fix' him before the baby arrived.
With Eo and Gideon - and I think that was about where I started calling him Eo because that became Gideon's nickname for him - established as having been together for so long, it made sense that she was more of a sibling to him than a friend. And Eobard was probably a little bit co-dependent with her and vice versa - Gideon was wary of risking Eobard's life to become a speedster, but at the same time she definitely wanted that because speedsters live longer than regular humans and she wants to keep him as long as she can - so he has a tendency to put his relationship with her first, though Robern is a close second as adults.
Meloni came about because Eobard and Robern needed an adult in their lives after their parents died. I wanted Eobard to still be young enough to need a legal guardian when that happened so it would make sense why he didn't get custody of Robern himself. But also old enough that he was believably college aged (early) and thus wasn't around enough to really see how his parents were treating Robern so the realization Robern wasn't actually the much loved child his parents pretended he was would hit harder after they died.
I picked Meloni to name the character based off the comics character, but while she's got a lot in common with that comics character... she's really much more of an OC with the same name. She looks a lot like Iris due to being a direct descendant of Iris and Eddie's - it took a while to decide on her having a much more direct relation to Eobard and Robern too since Eddie & Iris' descendants would be distant enough relatives that she wouldn't really have a legal claim if she weren't also more closely related to them too. By then, despite being descended of two branches of the same family, Meloni's parents would have been distantly related enough that it wouldn't be a problem of incest/inbreeding for them to have married. This worked since I had already decided pretty early that Eobard & Robern would not be Eddie's descendants, but Malcolm Thawne's (either a brother or a cousin at this point) - with Eddie saving the life of one of Malcolm's kids being the real reason why Eddie's survival is necessary to Eobard's existence and why Edward became a family name for the Keystone branch of the family.
Once I had these four characters built up in my head, I finally started writing the first fic of the series. Eobard and Gideon in the past (to them, present for the main action of the series) about to learn about the Reverse Flash - not included in the new Timeline's Flash Museum - the hard way. That was also when I decided that of course new Eobard would have a very different code name and color scheme, but that the color scheme would be a reaction to not wanting to have anything in common with someone who'd hurt the Flash.
Even when he doesn't realize he's doing it, this Eobard is constantly rejecting the path that would lead to the Reverse Flash existing in the new timeline.

Hie hie! Not sure if you’ve gotten suggestions for which pairs yet so I’ll put an idea for a couple, if any one of em seem helpful? (And if none, no worries lol)
Antauri/Hermes: Hermes visiting Antauri during a bout of insomnia, maybe needing to chat to help him fall asleep?
Gibson/Hermes: Gibson checking up on Hermes and giving him some interesting books he thinks Hermes might enjoy, seeing if by spending his extra time reading that it could help his mental health, or simply help pass the time.
ended up going with the Hermes/Antauri one.
It was past midnight. Bleeding into three in the morning. And everyone was fast asleep.
Except for Hermes. He was very much awake at this hour. A time of where life was in limbo in a way.
And Hermes just could not stay asleep. Nightmares once more plagued him. Not a unusual thing for him, as sad as it was. It certainly did not help that it had been a more vivid nightmare then normal. The type of vivid that made one almost feel it was meant as a form of prophecy.
Hermes knew that wasn't the case in his heart. That it was just his brain regurgitating his fears and trauma. But still, it unsettled Hermes. And when so unsettled,  It was not the best idea for him to try and sleep right after such a nightmare.
Now normally he would keep to his room, try to read or some other quiet activity. But tonight he was feeling the need to get something to eat or drink. Anything to feel like he wasn't back in that setting where everything about his life had been controlled.
So at these hours, Hermes found himself in the hall and heading to the kitchen. He moved as quietly as he could.  This was not just because of his manners and not wanting to wake anyone up this late. No, there was also the fact that some small part of him feared waking up the wrong people. Even though he knew he was now around people who wouldn't hurt him.
Old habits died hard. And old habits born in a terrible situation where to avoid being hurt more then he already was at that time at the games galaxy, well.. they were all but impossible to erase. So he moved as if his life depended on it. Every small noise felt like it was amplified times ten. Each time he would stop, listen for a moment, and then keep moving.
It was a bit of a relief to get to the kitchen. Further from everyone else's rooms and less likely to wake anyone with small noises. Feeling safer he strode over to the fridge.
He didn't really know what he wanted to eat. All he did know at this moment was that he just needed to have a snack. Maybe something that had some sort of steps to it, to feel some small sense of control of himself. Hermes was still thinking about it when he sensed it. Someone was behind him.
No sound, no indication he had heard the possible attacker, before without thought Hermes whirled around and grabbed the attacker by the throat and lifted them up. A snarl escaped Hermes throat, teeth bared.
Antauri for his part looked more startled then anything else. Lucky for him, there was no airway to restrict, so Antauri was easily able to speak.
"Hermes, you are safe. I promise." Antauri said softly.
It was in the next moment Hermes realized who he had by the throat. His eyes went from enraged with a edge of coldness to recognition, then a horror. He quickly set Antauri down and pulled his arms close to himself. The horrified look on the spider monkeys face was not hard to see still.
"I'm so sorry. I just- I didn't hear you coming." Hermes said. "I thought for a second that I was-"
"You thought you were back there and in danger." Antauri said.
Hermes nodded, gaze far away for the fraction of a second.
"It's okay. Next time I will make sure to address you before getting closer when your back is turned." Antauri said.
Hermes was clearly trying to think of how else to apologize for what had just happened. Antauri did what he could to take Hermes mind off it. It was easy enough thankfully as Antauri did have a actual question for Hermes.
"I take it that you can not sleep?" Antauri asked.
Hermes appreciated the subject being changed. He took a moment to close the fridge door as he answered.
"Sleep and I are not very good friends sadly." Hermes said.
Hermes glanced back to Antauri. And a question occurred to him.
"What about you? You're up pretty late too." Hermes said.
"I do not sleep anymore. Not since.. well, this newer body." Antauri explained.
"Ah.. that makes sense I guess. Don't you recharge at all?" Hermes asked.
"I do. But it's a fairly quick process." Antauri said.
"Oh... so what I'm hearing is that you spend every night awake while everyone else is asleep all night." Hermes said.
"That is correct." Antauri said.
Before Hermes could ask more about it, Antauri added in "I use to enjoy drinking tea on nights where my thoughts were troubled."
The silver monkey thought a moment before walking over to where the kettle was still kept.
"Would you like some? I'm sure I have not lost the knack for it even though it's been awhile." Antauri said.
"That sounds good." Hermes said.
Though Hermes had not made tea in awhile, it still came to him easily. And soon enough he got to the point to where the tea was finished steeping. Antauri went through the motions of it all, a comforting thing to Antauri if he was being honest. How he had missed making tea he realized in that moment.
"Do you take sugar in your tea?" Antauri asked.
"I'm fine without it." Hermes said.
Not having to add anything more to the tea, Antauri picked up the cup and brought it over to where Hermes was sitting.
"What do you do now? When your thoughts are troubled I mean." Hermes asked.
Antauri placed the cup of tea in front of Hermes. He wisely decided to allow the drink to cool a bit before taking a sip.
"Honestly? Mostly try to meditate. And if that does not work I will wander." Antauri said.
"Wander?" Hermes questioned, still waiting for his tea to cool down.
Antauri nodded.
"Around the city. Mostly I stay close to the robot. Just in case of a emergency." Antauri said.
"Are any places around here actually open that late?" Hermes asked.
"Not many. But it's not so much the destination then the journey that matters in this case." Antauri explained.
Hermes thought a moment.
"That sounds like it be nice. To see the city at it's quietest." Hermes said. "Would you enjoy having someone to join you on these walks? It's not as if I sleep very well at all. So I keep strange hours myself."
Antauri seemed to be pleased at the thought, Smiling softly.
"I would be happy for you to join me." Antauri said.
Two nights later, Hermes did join Antauri out on a night walk. After Hermes had attempted to get some sleep and it had again ended in Hermes jolting awake from a nightmare. As Antauri had said, the city of Shuggazoom was a different experience then it was during the day. Hardly anyone on the streets at this time of night. And without that bustle of people, it was so quiet.
From the ground it was harder to see the stars. But the streetlights were on and that was a sort of charm to the lights from them. Not quite pretty but still nice.
"It really is so quiet at night." Hermes said.
"You wouldn't think it with how busy Shuggazoom is normally during the day." Antauri said.
Maybe it was the quiet of the night and the company he could trust. Or maybe it was the rawness from his nightmare that had woke him up earlier in the night.
"I couldn't stand silence for years after I escaped games galaxy. And I couldn't sleep at all without some sort of noise for awhile. The Games Galaxy was just always loud. Even at night." Hermes said.
Antauri kept in step with Hermes.
"From what you told us, that place does sound like it would be a quiet place at any point." Antauri said.
Hermes nodded, gaze far away a moment.
"The normal casino sounds were bad enough. Then you get people getting hurt or worse often. It... it was not a quiet time." Hermes said.
Hermes did not talk further on the subject. Antauri would not push him to speak anymore on it. The fact that Hermes had volunteered even talking about that information was one of the signs of his trust and in the moment, comfort next to Antauri.
For a bit longer, Hermes looked deep in thought. Then in a almost careful action, Hermes hand reached for Antauri's. Sensing the action, Antauri reached back, without even looking at first.
A sign to Hermes that Antauri was here. And wasn't planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
Hermes was smiling now. A at ease one despite what he had been talking about moments before. That made Antauri feel just as at ease. And the two continued their walk. The city asleep and quiet.

(Short one shot I wrote while at work )
Carrie shivered in the cool crispy air. Running a hand through her hair. She didn't bother taking her hat off. To any random passerbyer she would just seem like a normal person. she leaned on the banister, not wanting to move but also not wanting to stay still.
After waking up from a nightmare, her nerves were wrecked.
She was having them more and more frequently now. Once she was up, she had a hard time trying to fall back asleep. Not wanting to go through another one.
She was so exhausted.
The feline couldn't remember most of the details of such scarring visions. She would just wake up screaming and crying for help. powerless against an unknown enemy. it was by some strange reason that she didn't wake the other occupants up from their slumber. Or perhaps they were just heavy sleepers. She envied the way they could sleep blissfully with out being plagued.
Why couldn't she have nice dreams for once?
Feeling frustrated, tears start to sting her eyes. Carrie turned around, and slid down, leaning against the cold bars. She hated this. Feeling weak. It was easy for her keep her emotions in check but all it took was a nightmare and she was reduced to a sobbing mess. She was thankful that no one was around right now. not wanting them to see this side of her.
It was rather peaceful at night. Not exactly quiet considering the city night life going on. But it was comforting in a way life in the day time wasn't. The moon was stunning and giving off a calm glow. The stars dotted along the denim sky, dancing and twinkling. The soft, plush clouds accompany them adding to the setting.
And yet here she was, wide awake because she couldn’t get over the sounds of the old building and a bad dream.
Meanwhile, everyone else was asleep in their warm cozy beds, as it was late in the night.
At least she thought so.
Although it was pointless, Carrie decided to head back inside to go back to sleep. The sun would not be up for another 5 hours. Slipping through one of the windows of the roof, she carefully walked alongside the beams and pipes until she felt like she was close enough distance to the ground. Hopping down, only to see Dr. Two brains up.
He was standing near his chalk board, furiously scribbling down equations it seemed. Only to stop and begin erasing it. He wasn't wearing his labcoat. It was a bit strange seeing him not wear it.
When their eyes met, Carrie could feel her cold skin quickly heat up as the blood rushed to her face. The bitter clarity from earlier fought for dominance over her blind love, but ultimately lost when he spoke.
“Hey."
She gave a short wave back unsure if speaking would be something she was up for.
"something bugging you?" he asked. She blinked realizing she hadn't stopped crying. It was embarrassing.
"it…was nothing..." Carrie wiped her tears off her face. Keeping her voice as leveled as possible. "Just needed some air. Too cramped in the lair"
Dr. Two brains nodded. His face still reflected concern but decided not to push her. "Good to see I'm not the only one up. We must both have too much on our minds." his eyes looked over his unfinished plans. A small frown pursed on his lips. it was another cheese heist he was trying to pull off this week. Sometimes he didn't steal it, he would just turn things into that dairy product. It was something she didn't entirely get.
Then again he was part mouse and she was part cat. Suppose it had to be a mouse thing.
She could feel the mad scientist's gaze on her, and it only made her heart drum louder, ‘I don’t want to feel this way…’ she thought. It wasn't A bad feeling… just strange…
Being in love had a funny and cruel way of making you feel like the happiest yet loneliest person. At the moment she was happy.
But when they went their separate ways, she’d be lonelier than she was earlier.
Two brains cleared his throat. "so um… are you busy tomorrow?" Carrie shooked her head. She didn't really have much of a social life like he had. Mostly due to how she hated having attention on her. It made her anxious and afraid for some reason. Also the lack of any hobbies or intrests made it extremely hard to converse with the fellow villians.
"No…"
"well that's geat! Cuz…i found this nice spot and." He paused as if trying to figure out what he wanted to say. "I was wondering if…oh i don't know. If you wanted to go check it out with me?" She was silent. Two brains quickly added. "ONLY if you want to of course!" His attempt to seem casual and indifferent was failing terribly but that went over her head.
There it was again. The warm fuzzy feeling. She knew it was just a simple outing. However there was some excitement she felt by the invitation. "i would love to."
Even if it was in vain, carrie wanted to keep the rose colored glasses on.

Lucid Dreaming Journal and Trying to Understand Dream Characters
(I'd suggest reading Tasha's backstory before reading this.)
Ghost: I had another lucid dream. It went on for a little bit, and I'm not sure at what point I actually became lucid. We were on vacation and there was some type of laser tag game going on. It was a big event. Then I found a way to hack the game like it was a video game and went back in time to see what would happen. I went back a day and realized I messed up and caused reality to become glitchy.
I didn't know how to fix reality and planned on going back in time again, hoping that continuing would fix things somehow. My little brother tried to convince me that it was dangerous, but I knew reality was already breaking and I would rather do something than nothing. Another dream character tried to convince me not to, but then I held up my hand is proof of the glitch. Not only did it have the normal different looks associated with dreams, but the ring finger actually splintered off like a tree into several smaller fingers.
The dream character acted worried about me changing the past, but I finally said it wouldn't matter because she wasn't real anyway. I tried to apologize afterwards, but then her demeanor changed. She became more... manic? The things she was saying didn't make sense or seem consistent with her previous character.
Then she just turned into this blue human-sized stuffed rabbit, and when I was confused, told me that she was like my "ugly bunny friend."
I asked if she was referring to Almond, and she seemed to confirm it.
Just so we're clear, Almond isn't ugly at all. She's sweet and adorable. But also... nobody is supposed to know about Almond. After getting bad reactions to revealing Soph to people IRL, we only talk about the other system members online.
Having anybody reference Almond as friend of mine, even in a dream, is so bizarre and even a little scary. This is not information that I felt a dream character should have access to.
I tried to question her further about how long she had known this was a dream, because I am deeply interested in how dream characters work, but she ran or hopped out the door. As I tried to chase her down, she turned on me and said that I needed to forget.
I forced myself awake after that, right through one false awakening which I quickly realized wasn't real. It was a struggle to finally get my eyes open in the real world.
Now, one theory is that if dream characters have consistent self-awareness, this could be a function of dream characters: Keeping the dreamer in an illusion every night, and erasing their memories when the dreamers figure it out. But... we also read about a dream character acting like this, saying they needed to erase somebody's memories, on the Lucid Dreaming subreddit which very well could have influenced this dream character's behavior.
Tasha, for her part, didn't feel like she had a consistent sense of self through multiple dreams. Her first and only dream had been the one I awakened her from, and she couldn't give me much further insight about dream characters or how they function. I think they may operate on a very basic AI that has to improvise responses. It's easy when we behave in accordance to the script, but they breakdown when we challenge them.
[Tasha: I think I knew from the beginning of my birth dream that we were in a dream, but I don't know why I had to act out a role. I just did it. I would say that I did it because I was "supposed to" but even that is more of a reason than I had. I didn't need a reason. I just did. Like a river doesn't need to know the reason it flows. It just does.]
Tasha also knew details about our system in the dream once I confronted her with the fact that I knew we were in a dream, but she doesn't seem to have had that knowledge before I revealed I was lucid.
Mind-reading by dream characters appears to be on an as-needed basis. That's why they don't usually know that you're lucid until you reveal it to them.
There appears to be some sort of powerful dissociative barriers at play here, but I can't parse their extent.
This is also the third time I remember that a dream character has Morphed when confronted.
Once was with Tasha transforming from a weird 60s TV mom into a young adult.
The second time, Soph was in line at a Subway or McDonald's, and heard a bag pop beside her. She asked the dream character there why she had popped the bag, and the dream character tried to give some weak explanation. Then Soph said, "no, I meant the meta reason," letting the dream character know that Soph was lucid. The dream character morphed into some type of horrifying wraith, grabbed Soph, and carried her off into some isolated room, locking the door behind.
Soph had this paranoia that after what happened with Tasha, the evil dream wraith might find a way to wake up in the body while she was locked in this room. In hindsight, that fear made no sense because Soph was still conscious. Still, we've learned that even while lucid, dreams can make you believe some irrational things. In order to quickly wake up, Soph shoved her arm into a ceiling fan.
That didn't even wake her up immediately, and even though she says it didn't hurt like a normal injury would have, it was incredibly unpleasant for her, giving her a sort of emotional pain.
Tasha, the SubWraith and Blue Bunny (I might as well start naming them) all transformed when confronted. And I've heard stories of similar things happening with other lucid dreamers. Only the latter two became aggressive.
Why does this happen though?
What does it mean?
Tasha is currently the most useful asset in understanding this, but she doesn't have an answer for why she transformed when I confronted her. It wasn't an intentional choice.
One idea is that mentioning that you're lucid might trigger some sort of unconscious reboot. The dream character needs a more advanced AI to deal with this knowledge, and thus gains deeper access to your memories to build that on. But this reboot makes them less stable and more unpredictable. Tasha does seem to have gained more self-awareness as her birth dream (I guess that's what we're calling it now) went on.
At present, I don't believe there's any sort of conspiracy by fully sapient people in your head to keep you from acting out a script while you sleep. I don't believe dream characters possess that level of intelligence.
But the fact that I can't know for certain the extent of their intelligence and sapience gnaws at me. And I like our system relatively small, so I'm not willing to experiment by trying to repeat the method I used to bring Tasha into the real world just to find the answers to these lingering questions.
