You’re currently wedged between two bookshelves in the living room of your house, eyes trained on the words in your book, giggling to yourself when the plot takes a funny turn. Meanwhile in the background, Jungkook and your brother Taehyung, both a year older than you, the two ten year old boys play fighting in your parents backyard, their game was way too rough for you to even watch, you decided.

That’s always the way it’s been since you were young, Jungkook’s mum dropping him off at your parents place as he spent time with your brother, mostly roughhousing like they are now, and you, at nine years old, simply tucking yourself in another fairytale, which to you seemed like a much better way to past time.

You never truly spent a lot of time with the two of them when Jungkook would come over, besides the once-in-a-while moments where your parents would make you guys bond a little through board games or card games which the two elder boys would never take seriously, the games always ending in them either throwing the board game pieces at each other or stacking the cards into a pyramid.

When it came to school, you tried your best to stay away from bumping into your brother at school, but you’d always end up being teased in front of your friends by him and Jungkook, making fun of your two pigtails or your very glittery pink bag you had just gotten as a birthday gift, but you were used to it anyways, having grown up with a brother.

Four years go by and now you’re finally completing your last year in middle school, Jungkook and your brother having moved on to high school, and as expected, they end up attending the same school, as they have done their whole life.

But since four years ago, a lot has changed. You’ve grown much closer to Jungkook, having gone on quite a few trips with his family, and you could even consider him a close friend. Most importantly, he’d grown from being a kid to a teenager, even though he was only a year older than you, the 14 year old boy suddenly became someone you always wanted to hang out with. To you, you saw him as someone cool. Instead of teasing you along with your brother, he now would defend you from your brother’s teasing, treat you to ice cream on the weekends and even teach you the video games he played with your brother.

“And then he let me get as many toppings as I wanted,” You tell your friends, clicking the buttons on your phone to show them the picture of your ice cream, filled to the brim with all sorts of toppings because Jungkook said you could.

“You’re so lucky, I wish I had a boyfriend like that,” Jiyeon sighs, pouting her lips as she sulks.

Your face turns red, tip of your ears warm as you quickly deny, “He isn’t my boyfriend! Just a friend… In fact he was my brother’s friend first,” No, you couldn’t even begin to try and imagine Jungkook as someone more than your friend!

“Well, but you should definitely confess to him on valentine’s day, it’s in like six months,” Yuji twirls her hair, nudging your leg slightly as she giggled.

To the three of you, as 13 year old girls, having a valentine was a big deal, especially since the whole idea of a crush and all was new to you guys as teenage girls.

“No! I don’t have feelings for him! He’s just nice to me I guess,” You frown at Yuji, just because she confessed to her crush and now apparently has a boyfriend, doesn’t mean you need to do it too, you decided.

You didn’t have a crush on Jungkook right?

You push away the thought quickly, this whole topic was so taboo to you, it made you feel squirmy thinking about it. No, you didn’t have any sort of feelings towards the older boy, never.

So that day when you arrived back at home, spotting Jungkook and Taehyung sitting at the table and doing their homework, you decide to take a seat away from the certain boy.

“Huh? Why are you sitting all the way there? Come back here,” Jungkook hums, pulling out his earphones in bewilderment, you had always sat next to him whilst the three of you would do homework together after school, nudging him here and there to ask for help with a math problem.

“I- okay,” You scooch towards the chair next to him, dragging your books along the table as you avoid eye contact. Your cheeks heating up again as you remember your conversation with your friends in school earlier, it made you feel all tingly inside, but why were you being so weird in front of him?

“You’ve been staring at that math problem for ages, need help?”

You jump up in surprise at Jungkook’s voice , letting out a small yelp as your brother snickers at you from across the table, you kick his shin in response, sending his hands flailing to the injury, mumbling some cuss word you don’t understand.

“Yeah,” You only muster out a whisper, handing over your pencil to the boy, who finds your behaviour a little off but nonetheless, doesn’t comment on it.

And while he explains the solution and working to find the value of X, you can only notice his eyes, his nose, the mole under his lips, the scar on his cheek from when he fought with your brother years ago, his lips.

And then you for yourself to snap out of your daydream when his eyes lock with yours in confusion as to why you’re staring at him instead of your workbook.

But then five months later, opportunity for valentine’s day didn’t even come for you anyways, as you pack your bags to move miles away from the place you once called home, since your father had been posted to a new country for his work.

The whole idea of leaving your life behind and all the people you’ve ever known since young was such an overwhelming feeling that you didn’t even think once about your feelings for Jungkook anymore, or maybe you did once, but it didn’t matter.

So when you tugged your luggage and watch your brother sadly hug his best friend goodbye at the airport, reality struck, you wouldn’t ever get a chance to even properly assess your feelings for Jungkook anyways, so you simply wave him goodbye, not looking back so you don’t think further than a goodbye.

He did make sure to exchange his Instagram and Facebook with you, promising you and your brother to keep in touch, which you agreed to. Maybe there was a part of you that wanted to cling onto the idea of him, but you didn’t let yourself believe that anyways.

solemn music plays from the speakers connected to your monitor, slowly enveloping your soul with dread as your eyes flicker between the game and the messages flowing into your stream’s chat box.

user_1: NOOOO what do you mean the sister died??

user_3: y/n are you sure we didn’t miss a chapter??? my eyes are bawling out TT

a soft chuckle escapes you while reading what your viewers had to say, somewhat relieving you from the heartbreaking arc of the game. “i’m pretty sure this is the right track… i feel my eyes tearing up too, you’re definitely not the only one.”

a couple more messages pop up, but you decide to focus on the game’s storyline for now.

a little girl is hunched over her sister’s hospital bed, sobbing after the realization her beloved sibling was never going to wake up after falling from the top of the staircase in their home.

a tear slowly falls down your cheek while you stay silent and continue watching, hoping your viewers wouldn’t notice it if you act unfazed. though, it seems they have eyes sharper than you think.

“pshh, i’m not crying, chat!” you feign with a not-so convincing pout. you clearly have a soft spot for these type of family-oriented game plots, enjoying how they touch into the lives of people and the complexities behind them.

its during times like this where you yearn for your boyfriend, haechan, more than anything, but… you’re pretty sure he’s busy streaming another game in a different room. you face falls into a slight frown thinking about it, one your chat assumes is because of the sad story coming to a close.

a white screen snaps you out of your thoughts, signaling the game had finally ended and you turn to face the camera filming your face cam. “so… what do we think?” you ask, giving a warm smile.

user_6: GOD THAT WAS TOO MUCH

user_7: thank the heavens its done

user_8: wtf just happened…

“right? to be honest- im pretty overwhelmed.” you speak, taking a sip from your water jug next to you in hopes of letting the immense feeling dissipate, but that only does little in actually quelling it. you could really use a hug from haechan right about now… it wouldn’t hurt to leave chat for a moment right?

“i’ll just go get something quickly then we can try to unpack the plot of the game a little better.” you tell your viewers before standing up from your computer chair and rushing over to haechan’s room.

as you approach the white door sealing his room from the hallways, you hear a string of curses pass your ears. “jisung you little shit! i said to your right not your left- no, no!! YOUR left not MY left.”

slowly, you peek through the door, getting a glimpse of your boyfriend seemingly fuming over a round of overwatch, but you (and his viewers) know that’s just how he plays — and it’s quite entertaining to hear the banter between him and his friends.

“jaemin revive me. im by the corner- JUST WHERE ARE YOU ON THE MAP??? ahhh, im screwed for real.” he whines as his screen displays that he died in game, slumping back into his chair as he waits for the next round to start. “you guys better carry this game or else-“

“hyuck?” you finally speak up, pushing the door a little more to make room for yourself to enter. haechan’s chat goes crazy after seeing you enter his room, mostly filling up with messages to greet your entrance.

“sorry… i didn’t want to interrupt but you see- this game i was playing… it was so sad and i-“ you get cut off by your boyfriend reeling you into a hug.

you don’t even need to listen in on his earphones to hear the coos from his friends, already used to their teasings when you and haechan are together.

“let me guess, another one about family?” oh he really just reads you like an open book, his voice much softer in comparison to how he was speaking earlier. you feel so loved knowing he pays attention to the smallest details about you.

“mhm. i just wanted a hug.”

“and that, you’re getting.” he chuckles, rubbing small, soothing circles on your back with his thumb.

his embrace is warm. just what you needed after an intense, downcast game. you already feel yourself fueling back up with positivity, pulling away after a couple more seconds.

“thank you.” you smile sheepishly, feeling a little awkward his viewers just watched that entire exchange from the camera resting on top of his monitor. “i should get back to my own stream now though.” you add, giving haechan a small kiss on the cheek before waving a goodbye towards his camera.

“i’ll give you all the cuddles and kisses later.” haechan tells you, patting your head as he lets you leave his room.

“i’ll be anticipating that.” you giggle before shutting the door behind you, and returning to your own streaming room.

“chat! sorry that took so long, but im back now!” you exclaim quite cheerily, a considerable difference to your gloomy expressions earlier.

the query has your chat switching topics in the blink of an eye, something you’re rather grateful for — knowing the blush on your cheeks already gave you away long ago. still, you'd say everything was worth it for that hug.

okay, here's a long post talking about my thoughts on dungeons and daddies, s2ep45, hell or high father. obvious spoiler warning, im gonna be talking about the events of the episode, but this is going to be more outside the fourth wall focused/thinking about what the pacing says about the narrative, rather than actually talking about what happened in this episode!! also ive only listened to the episode once so if i missed anything, feel free to say so

to start immediately: i loved this episode, but i was also disappointed that ron, terry, and scary didn't get a full episode. but i was thinking about why that would be the case, and that lead me to the two reasons im speculating:

Beth felt that Scary's arc didn't necessitate a big ending and that it came to a clean closing with that scene

This episode shows the narrative divide between the Stampler family and the Close family

the first reason is mostly a timing thing. they included taylor in this episode as well because scary's conclusion didn't need the full run time, or maybe even lincoln's episode was longer than they wanted it to be and scary was supposed to be in that arc as well. the pacing was just a result of the past few episodes: scary has already confronted that she regrets how she treated terry, we've seen that a million times. ever since his death, she's confronted that fact again and again, and i think it makes sense that this episode would resolve that in a much quieter way than it could've. the stamplers have always been the family to resolve things 'the right way' - they show up for each other, they love each other unconditionally, they finish their arcs by holding one another in forgiveness. even if i wouldve loved a longer memory (though holy shit, WE SAW THE BETRAYAL ON SCREEN-- sorry not the point of this post), and i really hope we get some more with them in upcoming episodes, i did like how it was so sweetly resolved!!

and that sweetness leads into the bulk of my thoughts here: scary and taylor shared an episode because of how differently their memories went.

as soon as nicky went "i have a memory you weren't around for", i knew we were in for a fucking ROLLERCOASTER, and holy shit. the entire played out montage of glenn failing to be there for nicky, failing to be there for taylor, and in turn, taylor finally tells nicky to his face that he wasn't there for taylor either. taylor's fixation on the idea of redoing it all with time travel, because there is no other way, in his mind, to solve the rift in their relationship. "there's no fixing this." there's too much baggage, there's too much thats already been fucked up, and theres no way for them to come back from that. nicky is a grown adult. taylor is already in his teen years. they can form a relationship with their dad now, but no matter how well that goes, its never going to fix the childhood behind them that was already ruined. they do love each other, they're friends, but being friends doesnt equal a true good relationship. being friends doesnt mean you succeeded in parenting.

and now we contrast that with the stamplers. both terry junior and scary go into their relationship with their stepdads seeing him as an inferior replacement, as someone who could never truly be their dad. terry junior loved his biological dad, is literally named after him. scary's dad was so absent in her life that she doesnt know how to handle someone actually being there. they both refuse to take the replacement, until eventually, they learn that their stepdad's strength is that hes a new man. not a replacement, but his own full person, a person who loves them. ron put his life on the line for terry, time and time again, because he didnt want to be his own dad. terry showed up to all of scarys soccer matches, even when she refused to even acknowledge him, because he didnt want to be her bio dad. "you showed up." even though terry's memory is literally him using ron, it ends with ron forgiving him without a second thought. when scary apologizes to terry, terry takes her into his arms with a moment's hesitation.

the stamplers have a happy ending because even with how badly they've fucked up, they always showed up for their kids. the closes don't have a happy ending because they weren't in their kids' lives and they think being friends now fixes that. and that's why scary and taylor shared their episode, really. because it drives home the crucial difference between the two families

you take a small glance at beomgyu before quickly averting your gaze back to your lap. clearing your throat, you decide to speak up.

“do.. do you wanna connect?” beomgyu snaps his head to you and nods excitedly, like a little kid. as he proceeds to connect, you start to drive away from his house.

when you arrived to an amusement park, beomgyu started to shout and jump excitedly in his seat, ‘always’ playing quietly in the back. you chuckle at beomgyus energy.

“excited much?” you tease. beomgyu freezes and turns to you.

“me? pffsh,” he waves you off “i dont get excited over such.. childish things”

from excited to unbothered, beomgyu sits, acting as if he isnt about to pass out due to excitement.

“so.. should we go somehwere else?” it was just a joke. but beomgyu looked like he would actually start crying if you backed out from the parking lot.

“please no..” he nearly whimpers. puppy eyes on full display. you roll your eyes and rush him out the car.

the air smells of greasy hotdogs and cotton candy. youve been here multiple times with soo and kazuha, but this is your first time going with beomgyu.

“lets go!” beomgyu exclaims. and before you know it, youre being dragged by the arm.

10 rollercoasters, 2 cotton candy cones, 3 hotdogs (cause beomgyu ate his AND yours), and at least 5 bathroom breaks later, you and beomgyu find yourselves in line for the ferris wheel. the sun is starting to set, giving you a perfect opportunity to take a picture and post it on your instagram story.

“im so excited!!” beomgyu says, basically vibrating due to how quickly hes moving. he must be hyper.

“i am too.. but if you move a single muscle while we’re up there, im gonna push you off” you joke. soon its your guys’ turn to get onto the ferris wheel.

beomgyu is on your left. your phone clutched in your right hand, ready to take some photos once you reach the top. once you make it up, the ride pauses. you let out a relaxed sigh, seeing such a beautiful sight in front of you.

“wow..” it barely comes out as a whisper, but beomgyu hears it. he smiles as he admires you. though youre not facing him, he thinks youre the prettiest view. no sunset, or pretty lights could compare to your beauty, he thinks. he pulls out his phone and secretly takes a photo of you. smiling, he tucks his phone back into his pocket and sighs.

“thank you..” he says lowly. this causes you to turn to him. you chuckle.

“for what?” beomgyu shrugs.

“for bringing me here.. its been a while since we’ve hung out and this feels.. refreshing” you stay silent at beomgyus words. but you continue to stare at him.

““i dont know.. but im glad we’re making progress. you know.. rebuilding our friendship and everything. what i did was stupid but im willing to do about anything to make it up to you. youre very special to me, yn..”

silence fills the atmosphere. beomgyu looks down at his hands, and you turn to look at the view again. it isnt until the ride slowly starts moving again that you speak.

“..really? you really feel that way?” beomgyu looks at your figure, despite the fact that youre still not facing him.

“yeah.. i really do, yn. its okay if you dont feel the same tho-“

he wasnt able to finish his sentence because you suddenly turn around, hands swiftly grabbing his face and then.. you connect your lips to his.

beomgyus eyes widen. just two seconds ago, he thought you were gonna slap him. yell at him. laugh at his face or SOMETHING. never did he think that your lips would be on top of his… but damn did it feel good.

you dont pull away until the ride comes to a complete stop, both of your guys’ cheeks turning red by the second. once you both are on the ground again, beomgyu clears his throat.

“lets go?” he asks, blush still on his cheeks in which you smile at him.

“lets go.”

Ok, Cupid It Isn't Funny Anymore | K2 | T | TW: None author: Courtanie this one is my favorite because i love the oblivious pining and k2 being the dumbest people on planet earth when it comes to each other. stan is so sick of their bullshit here KLJDSGLKSGJSDFLKJ SUMMARY: Years of sabotaging one another's dates and dancing around feelings have led Kenny and Kyle to fall into states of pitiable loneliness. Living under the same roof sure doesn't help the situation, but some vodka might. Playback | K2 | T | TW: None author: Corrupted_Quiet i love britney spears ok and kenny here loves her too. this is one of my favorite fics !! i hope you like it as much as i did too, i thought it was really cute and the way author uses music here is fun! SUMMARY: Kenny's always listened pop music, with its bumping beats, simple lyrics, and easiness at capturing the complexities of love. Sometimes he feels himself in those songs, especially when pining over Kyle Broflovski. No one else knows that part, though, secret kept between himself and his playlist of Britney songs. Daywalkerpox | K2/Kysterion (Side Stendy & Creek) | E | TW: sexual content author: Zormikea THIS WAS THE FIC THAT MADE ME SHIP K2 EVEN FURTHER. I have to reread this fic because it's been a while but oh my god i could not stop reading it when i first saw it.. SUMMARY: It’s not love. It’s not affection. It must be a disease, then.

Kyle wonders if it’s curable. Kenny knows it isn’t. Peering Through Windows | K2, Cryle (Side Stendy) | E | TW: graphic depictions of violence, non-con, major character death, sexual content author: jwink85 PLEASE be super cautious going into this fic as it does include a lot of heavy topics and depictions of said warnings listed above. that being said, this was one of the first fics that i read coming back to the fandom (i found it through the animatic based off this fic LOL). personally i like it, i really enjoy the author's storytelling here and how she takes care of certain events happening in the fic. i get that this might not be everyone's cup of tea though! please note that craig here plays a heavy villain in this story and kyle is the victim of the villain in this story, so if they're one of your favorite characters and you don't want to see them this way i think it's best to avoid this one! SUMMARY: Kyle was so in love with the good doctor until he revealed himself to be a monster...by then, it was too late. Fell In Love with a Dead Boy | K2 | T | TW: None (character death but it's kenny's) author: spirograph I NEVER READ THIS ONE!! BUT MY FRIEND SAID THIS AS A RECOMMENDATION SO I'm going to put this down here for you! I hope you like it, anon! SUMMARY: In the 3rd grade Kenny dies for the first time. OKAY, I'll stop here. Okay im going to go on a little rant here, so forgive me if this is messy, but i NEED robotnik to be in the third sonic movie and let me explain why.

(Also slight spoilers for SA2 i guess.)

Anyways, i mainly want him in there for the sheer amount of character developmwnt that robotnik gets in SA2. Like up untill now, robotnik hasnt really had any personal stakes in the fights other than his pride and ego. But SA2 changes all of that, as its the introduction of not only his grandfather, his cousin (aka maria), but also shadow who is technically his uncle but more on that later.

Its bassically an introduction to robotniks family, which is immensly important to robotnik as a character because hes an orphan. Which brings into question how hed react to this. Robotnik, who ussually shuns any form or humanity or family, now learns that he actually has one. A family. People related to him by blood. But their dead. And the ironic part is THEY WERE KILLED BY THE GOVERNMENT HE WORKED FOR! The last remaining family members he had, were killed by the very same people he spent YEARS of his life working for. Now would he feel about that?

Robbed maybe. Angry. Sad. Or maybe hed try to ignore it in an attempt to not have to confront the human parts of himself. Because family is a sore spot for robotnik as he is an orphan, and often times we see his most emotional reactions being when hes talking about his family. But robotnik hates emotions, viewing them as horribly human, so when hes met with this side of this family, that he could have known and talked to and bonded with. Something he had longer for, for years as a child, taken away and killed by the people he worked for, that has got to cause some reaction. And how he deals with that emotion would be immensly interesting to watch, as hes bassically forced to confront this very human side of himself that hes never really had to deal with before. Or at least for a long time.

I honestly think robotnik would be a rollercoaster of emotions, angry and sad at the loss, yet trying to ignore and supress that greif in turn for keeping himself in his own eyes as perfect. Infalluable. Because admiting he cares about this, is admitting some part of him is human, and some part of him can be hurt and i think that would terrify him. So hed avoid it, obviously.

But then there comes the best part, shadow. Shadow is one of robotniks last LIVING family members, as hes technically robotniks uncle. (Because hes gerald robotniks son, so that would make him robotniks uncle.) And i find it intteresting how robotnik would view shadow. Does he know how realated shadow is to his family from the start, or does he learn as the movie goes on?

Lets say he learns as he goes on because i find that the most interresting. I think at first robotnik would see shadow as nothing but a mere weapon to be ussed against his enemys. After all, thats kinda what shadow was made for (kinda). But as the story goes on and as robotnik learns more about him, perceptions might change as he realizes just how connected shadow is to him. As shadow is his last surviving family member, to the family he once pressumed as dead. Meaning shadow is the only link he has left to his family. The last surviving connection he has to his relatives.

And how would he react to that? Would he ask questions, wanting to at least feel connected to the family that was robbed from him. Want to know more about the family he never met. Or would he shun shadow? Seeing him as sort of a physicall manifistation of his humanity, as shadows very existance forces him to confront things hes never had to, nor wanted to confront before. Shadows bassically the shadow of robotniks past, of his family, and when the doctor is faced with so much emotion and possible greif about his family whenever he looks at shadow. Would he push him away in an attempt to avoid those emotions? And to him, to cut out the last peice of humanity he has left, because robotnik sees the emotions he has and is forced to face about his dead family as painfully human, as vulnerable. And he hates that. And in attempt to cut that out of himself, hed try to cut shadow out, to push them away so he doesnt have to deal with that confrentation of his past. And it really gives them an interesting dynamic.

Like would robotnik try to push shadow away but eventually cave and begin to try and bond and discover more about this peice of his past he didnt know about? And if so, what would cause him to cave and try to bond with that?

Well maybe its his grandfather. Because in the games, robotnik is shown to have a major admiration for his grandfather. Like he is the only person robotnik probobly, genuinly, praises ever to the point where he strives to be like him. And what would happen if that part of robotniks character transfered over to the movie version of robotnik? Would he admire his grandfather at first, secretly liking the connection he feels to his long gone family member (despite him never admitting it) because of how just similar they are? Would he praise him just as much as his game counterpart? Would he be the one part of robotniks history that he likes? Would he be the one part in robotniks past/family that robotnik views as good. Kind of like a beacon of light in the rest of robotniks mucky past. Something to strive twards, to emminate. Would he cling on to the image of his grandfather, because he views him as such? And how much would the fact that shadow is his grandfathers creation effect their how robotnik views shadow and treats him? How does robotnik feel about gerald as a whole?

And would his admiration for gerald be influenced by the other stuff going on, outside of his emotion termoil. Because robotniks ego is also on the line in the third movie.

Because at that point robotnik has already lost to sonic twice. And as a narccisist who prides himself on being perfect, how could he take that? Maybe he denies being defeated by sonic, saying it was really a draw since he almost killed sonic in the second movie. Or maybe hed be absolutely vistiouse. Maybe hed go a bit crazy. Throwing everything he can at the headgehog in a despret attempt to salvage what little bits he has of his ego left. In an attempt to feel superior again, to feel in control. Maybe he does both? Like he viehemently denies sonics win, but deep down, in his heart of hearts, he knows sonic won and he just cant take that. Because sonic winning means that hes better tham him, and if someone is better than him that means hes not perfect. And robotnik had bassically built himself up on being perfect so thats like a slap to the face to him, twice.

Which this combined with the family issues might cause him to go on a downwards spiral. Viehently denying and bottling up his emotions as he despretly tries to find a way to salvage his ego. To convince himself that hes not a failure, or what he views as a failure. Trapping himself in a web of lies just to keep his mental health a float, which shadow breaks sometimes as he forces robotnik to conftront all the emotions he has about his family that hes activly avoiding.

Which i think leads to two things.

The first being him pushing shadow away in order to avoid his feelings and the second one clinging to his grandfathers image out of desperation.

I mean robotniks at rock bottom right now wether he admits it or not, and his grandfather might be the last beacon of hope he has to reclaiming who he was. Maybe he views his grandpa as the end goal, that when he is exactly like his grandfather he'll be fine. That when he becomes like him, maybe things will go back to normal. Maybe he could feel like himself again, rather than the failure he innevitiabbly feels like.

Maybe its that despret idolazation that causes him to follow his grandfathers plan to use the eclipse cannon. Beliving that it was a gift from his grandfather to him, to help him reclaim his rightfull place. The eclipse cannon, and his plan to use it, giving him one last shred of hope that he can still win. That he isnt failing, and he isnt a failure... only for the broadcast of his grandfather, the man he adored and idolized, the one part of robotniks family that he didnt scorn or push away, to play out as his grandfather reveals that he intends to destroy the entire planet. And robotnik is helpess as he watches. Destroyed as he watches all the blind trust he put into his grandfather, that he probobly put into anyone ever, completly shatter.

And honestly, i think this might be the catalist that causes robotnik to explode. That causes all of the trapped that he had been bottñing up for years, probobly decades even, to just burst out. With him forced to be vulnerable, forced to confront the feelings that hed been running from for so long, at the most innconvinient time possible.

And even worse, he might be forced to cry infront of sonic, infront of his enemies, and maybe infront of everyone. Which is the worst part to robotnik. For the man who has refused any sort of human connection for years, is suddenly forced to be very vulnerable and very emotion, possibly in front of his greatest enemy no less. That had got to be terrifying to robotnik. Having a full mental breakdown after so long of covering up his emotions as an attempt to seem perefect, under the eyes of everyone around him. Its bassically robotniks worst nightmare come true.

And if somehow he manages to pick the peices of himself back up to help stop his own gradfather, hes going to have to work with sonic. Which is basically salt into his already gapping wound. Forced to bear the most vulnerable parts of him on display to sonic and then forced to work with him. The one, which he views, as the catalist of his downward spiral.

And then shadow dies. Well maybe he lives in the end of the third movie, (it hasnt come out yet by the time im righting this in november) but if wwre going off of the SA2 story line, then shadow dies. And robotnik is forced to watch. Watch as the only family member he ever put his blind trust, and possibly love, into betray him to destroy the world.. and forced to watch as the last remaining connection, the only person who could tell him what they were like, their habbits, who they even were, dies. Dies saving the world that shunned robotnik for so long, that left him out to dry. And robotnik is cant to anything but watch. Hes helpless.

Left to pick up the peices of himself as he grapples with the greif of his idol betraying him, and his last surviving family member finnally being put six feet deep. Thankfully he has stone there to help him through it.

I could probobly write more about this, as i have alot of thoughts. The main two being robotniks morality, and his relationship to shadow and how it could develop throughout the story. As there is alot more things i wannted to get into about them, especially about how hed feel at his grandfather trying to ending the world, and the parrallels between him and shadow. But this is long enough so ill leave it here.

then i totally get your point of view! for sure, jk’s behaviour is very surprising & not good! but honestly, in this kind of situation where your ex is back in your life it isn’t easy too. it’s also not easy for oc but she was willing to try again since everything was there again. but here, jk is just completely lost & usually when you’re lost, you don’t take the best decisions… he also feels very unhappy & in the end, it’s best he pushes oc away instead of staying with her, he would hurt her a lot.

for eunji, like anybody that would be concerned about you, she’s just trying to help him. of course, he does whatever he wants with her opinion, he doesn’t have to consider it & that’s what he does at the end, but he’s unhappy so he ends everything with oc 😕

absolutely . tw for brief brief mention of suicide / sacrificial death.

so i think they definitely would NOT get on at first . phys is not about his blase attitude , his threats , etc . they'd definitely have a healthy fear of him , too, considering he's yakuza and plenty scary even with the height and the baby face . i would not be surprised if they accidentally insulted him once and he did the whole 'grab em by the front of their clothes' and threatened their life , or something. likewise he probably thinks phys is stupid and gullible + doesn't see the point in putting faith in the others . HOWEVER .... i think he would be one of the only people to pinpoint how smart phys is , and would be pretty careful not to underestimate them .

after ch2 is when things change . of course. phys probably freaks the fuck out and disassociates when he Does The Thing with the Knife and i think theyd feel a little guilty they didnt see it coming or try to stop him or anything so they visit him in the hospital once or twice . also just to take some of the burden off tsumikis shoulders . IDK maybe they talk about pekoyama and ( assuming phys has the same backstory ) they swap stories about growing up + phys talks about the professor . it would be the first time they sorta connect . i could see kuzuryu remembering some passing comment phys made and bringing them a gift from the monomono machine . then getting super fucking embarrassed and blustery when they genuinely rly like it .

as the chapters go on they just start hanging out.! idk i just think theyre neat . no storms canonically happen in the game but i control reality so oops theres a storm and its not safe for phys to go back to their cabin so they gotta spent the night ! kuzuryu sleeps on the floor OBVIOUSLY . hes such a freak. if we're going love interest he definitely falls first + he does that Thing where he avoids phys for like three days after he realises he likes them and then he feels super guilty about it so he apologises very sincerely but he still doesnt confess so phys is just extremely confused .

phys despair disease victim maybe ... ? links back into that post i made before about their despair disease making them hyper paranoid of everyone . maybe theyre a near victim in the tsumiki case and kuzuryu realises holy shit they almost Just Fucking Died i cant let them out of my sight actually .

PHYS AT THE THEME PARK !!!! theyre fucking giddy about the rollercoaster its the most hyped anyone has ever seen them . so even tho kuzuryu's not a fan phys drags him on with them and kuzuryu sticks to their side throughout the funhouse . BUT . the lack of food starts getting to him and he snaps and they fight + phys is on their own for a bit and starts getting all sacrificial . they think about going into the final dead room , they think about offering themselves as a victim but they dont know who to turn to ... maybe they bring up the idea to nidai but he refuses bc he doesnt see them as a fair fight + word gets back around to kuzuryu . and he gets super angry and then super scared + he apologises for snapping at them and theyre besties again .

now if phys and komaeda r cautious friends i imagine ch5 would be tough for them . the loss of nanami would also hit super hard ... i imagine phys would like her quite a bit actually . i think most of ch5 would be them patching up their relationship after the stress and rocky terrain in ch4 but they go into ch6 pretty strong . this is also Probably when phys realises they like kuzuryu too btw if u even care. i dont have the energy to think abt ch6 but maybe they kiss . idk. maybe . im squeezing the life out of both of them btw

the yorha raids make me soooo mad because of what wasted potential they felt like. every time i think of them i think of the end of paradigms breach where 2B is like "i cherish all the memories we made" or something and it makes me go ???? because what fucking memories!! you barely talk to her!!!!! things just kinda happen and you kill robots! i doubt it was his intention, but it all kinda comes off as him hijacking a completely different game for his own worldbuilding with disregard for what hes taking over. which in that case it should have been a one-off questline instead of an entire expansions alliance raid

also, the white orb is supposed to be linking nier:a with stuff from drakengard 1, its a seed of destruction. idk anything beyond having one appear is Very Bad

man wouldnt it be cool if they elaborated on the drak1 refferences to get people to play the drakengard games in this raid instead of just slapping them in and not having the plot do anything with them. especially because if you havent played drak1 the ball just feels like a weird refference to the ball adam and eve are born out of by the machines

also youre so right i literally dont get why 2B said that. or why she even stuck around when the moment we met her she was like ''well im taking 9s and leaving'' but she doesnt actually leave she just goes and sits deeper into the cave before shes needed in the plot again. like hello? whyd you say you were leaving and then Not doing that??? 😭

i think what made me mad the most was literally this/shot pose before its obviously meant to be a 1:1 of the ''9s doesnt go on the ark'' ending (forgive me for not remembering the route end letters. im stupid) because it felt so hollow. like everything else im just sort of hamming up my hate for but this genuinely felt like i was being laughed at because That ending in nier automata came from the culmination of so much insane stuff and emotional rollercoastering and struggle that the collab throwing it in at the very end just felt cheap. like the equivalent of putting a jumpscare at the end of a really well written horror movie because the yorha collabe just didnt do anything to Deserve the same reaction the original ending got from me

As you and the others got closer and closer to the gate you couldn't help but feel more excited. It had been years since you last visited an theme park and just being near one reminded you of your trained days when you were still training under KQ and all of you would meet up at the theme park when you were given days off.

As soon as you entered the park you began to visit each stall.

"Guys Look they sell matching headbands and cosplays ! I think we should all get some" You point out jumping in excitement.

On display were all sorts of headbands depending on how many people in a group

They had the Powerpuff Girls for trios

Tom and jerry for duos

Teen titans for groups of 5

"I'd rather not" Hongjoong replied already imagining the embarrassment he'd have to endure if ATINY saw him.

"I'll also sit out for this one" Jongho said shortly after trying to keep his mature image

"yeah me too" Seonghwa joined in

"Such a shame, you guys would've looked great as The Neverland pirates" You chuckled imagining the image

"I think we should be the Power Rangers" San interrupted pointing out the multicolored headbands with the name of each Power Ranger on it.

"That's a great idea San! I'll be yellow" You said quickly picking up the yellow one.

Soon enough everyone had put on their headbands

Well everyone except for one person.

"I think I'll also pass" you hear yeosangs deep voice from behind you.

"c'mon put yours on it'll be fun i promise" you say turning around to look at the member, who still looked hesitant.

"Sangie, please?" you say looking at him with your best doe eyes and fluttering your eyelashes.

Well now he can't say no after you called him by your nickname for him AND gave him that look.

"Okay fine,only because you asked" He said carefully placing the headband onto his head, keeping his hair well kempt.

Who was each Power Ranger( if you were wondering)

Yunho - Blue

Yeosang - Green

San - Red

Mingi -Black

Woooyoung - Pink

Y/N - Yellow

As everybody started making their way to the rollercoaster together Wooyoung decided that to win his bet with mingi he had to provoke Yeosang so he would confess first

He slightly nudged Yeosang to get his attention

"What was with the way you were acting earlier?" Wooyoung questioned , already knowing he's going to win the bet.Yeosang raised his eyebrow and slightly tilted his head in confusion.

"Okay fine , only because you asked" Wooyoung said forcibly making his voice deeper in a (failed) attempt to imitate Yeosang, which earned him a well deserved slap on the back of his head.

"Dude, its so obvious that you like each other that its actually getting painful, i feel like im watching a K-drama." Wooyoung continued, rubbing the back of his head to ease the pain.Still no response from Yeosang.

"I'm just saying, if you like her go for it, we all know how sweet she is even if she does reject you she'll forget about it in a week and act like nothing happend," Wooyoung added, because he wanted to see his best friend of almost a decade happy as much as he wanted to win that bet.He gave Yeosang one last reassuring pat on the back before going to annoying another member.

Meanwhile with Y/N and Mingi

"Y/N wait" Mingi said trying to get your attention.

"What's up?" you questioned , unsure as to why he approached you.

"You totally like Yeosang don't you?" He stated suddenly, making you wide eyed.

In all honesty you had a massive crush on Yeosang but you constantly suppressed your feelings for him because You? with a guy like him? It just felt a bit unrealistic to you

"Well -I mean I've never thought of him that way"

Liar.

"Sure, thats why you giggle and kick your feet like a little girl whenever he messages you or posts a selca on his insta" Mingi smirks seeing the look of utter shock in your face.

"okay MAYBE i do but there's no way he likes me back," you admit , feeling cornered

Mingi face palms so hard you can see a faint outline of his hand.

And he thought Yeosang was oblivious. At this rate , you weren't gonna know until you were on your deathbed.

"Do you seriously not see the way he stares at you? Or the way he turns red whenever you make even the slightest physical contact with him? He definitely liked you" Mingi sighed almost in despair at how much distress you were causing him just from being so unaware.

"No he doesn't! Stop trying to give me false hope," you whined.

"if your so sure he doesn't why don't you ask him yourself, then we will see whos right," Mingi replies instantaneously.

"Fine! Easier said than done" you murmured under your breath.Mingi sighs in what seems like defeat as he walks toward Yunho but underneath that sigh hes ecstatic that his strategy MIGHT'VE worked.

As the day progressed and got warmer you all decided to stop for an ice cream break.

Everyone sat down and enjoyed the contrast of the cool ice cream compared to the scourching hot weather but apparently you were enjoying it a little too much.

"Y/N, You've got some icecream on your cheek" Yeosang pointed out, his expression softening as he admired how adorable you looked with ice cream all over your face

"Where?" you ask pausing for a moment to rub it off but not getting anything

"right here," Yeosang leaned forwards and gently dabbed the Ice cream off of your cheek

"Thanks!," you thanked him giving him a soft smile which made his heart do backflips.

After your heartwarming moment with Yeosang you began making your way to the ferris wheel but on the way you all decided to stop by the arcade.

Hongjoong gave everybody a generous amount of coins (generous is an understatment he gave you a shit ton of coins) so you could play to your hearts content.Unintetionally, everybody split up into smaller groups, You and Yeosang being one.Its almost as if the universe is also making an effort to set you two up.

As you gazed around a certain claw machine caught your eyes more specifically , the one with sanrio plushies inside.

"Yeosangie can we do that one please please please?" you repeated jumping up and down whilst tugging on his arm.

Despite his belief that those games are all scams, he agreed regardless of his opinions. The things this man does for you.

He popped in a few coins which allowed him to play 5 games

First game: Missed. That's okay he still has 4 more tries and he's not gonna let you leave the arcade feeling disappointed

Second game: Yes! He got the one with the long ears.Is that Cinamoroll?Maybe.

Third game: Another win! Hes gettting good at this and this time he got one he actually knows,Hello kitty!

Fourth game: damn he should sign up for a professional match.This time he got Purin! Another one he knows

Final game: he allowed you to play the final game and to nobody's suprise, you were also great at the game and ended up with keroppi!.

By the time You and Yeosang ran out of couns had looked around most of the games and cashed out tour tickets for 9 lolipops , one for each member.

As you were waiting outside for the rest a young girl , no older than 5, stared at the hello kitty plushie inside of your bag .You quickly notice this and crouch down to give her the plushie making her jump in excitement and joy.

"oh my god im so sorry" her mother who was on the phone up until then apologized profusely.

"Wait are you Y/N from lesserafim!" She exclaimed , asking for a photo when you nodded ar her question.

You took a selfie with your beloved fan and waved her goodbye as she went on with her day.Yeosang watched, his heart melting as he observed how kind you could be towards others.

As the others returned after making the most of their time you all began to make your way to the Ferris wheel. When you arrived you waited in a (not so long) Queue and then finally you could go on.Despite the Ferris wheel being able to fit 3 people most went in duos , except Wooyoung who jumped in Yunho and Mingi's capsule on purpose so you and Yeosang could be together.

As you two jumped on the ferris wheel and sat down next to each other you made small talk for a while but that wasn't enough to make the 15 minute ride feel any shorter.For the next couple of minutes Yeosang stared at you admiring the way your face light up as you neared the highest point of the capsule , the veiw getting increasingly better.

'If i don't say it now i might never get a more perfect opportunity to ' Yeosang thought to himself before making a final decision

"Fuck it," he cursed under his breath.

"Hm?" You turn you head to see what he was cursing about but instead you were met with a pair of soft lips against yours and Yeosangs hands resting on your waist, pulling you closer to him.You panicked at first but once you realized what exactly was happening your eyes fluttered closed and you wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.

Inevitably, Yeosang pulled away, desperate to catch his breath.After a few seconds of silence Yeosang finally spoke up.

"Ermm s-sorry I didn't know how to confess so i just did that instead" He stuttered looking down at his hands and fidgeting

"it's fine, I like you too" you admitted giving him a soft smile.

"wait really!? So does that mean we're like dating now," He smiled and his eyes lit up as he looked up to see you smiling back at him.

"of course! but its almost time for us to get off now," you replied as the ferris wheel approached the ground.You held onto Yeosangs hands which catches him off guard at first but he enjoyed the feeling of your hand. You got off and met with the other members who were waiting for you at the end.

"soo who confessed first?" Wooyoung said in excitement , noticing the two of you holding hands.

"How did you even figure it out already we just came off?" Yeosang questioned.When he saw Wooyoungs eyes fall to your fingers which where interlocked with one another he just replied with a blunt "oh".

"Anyway, to answer your question it was Yeosang" you answered and looked up at your,now, boyfriend who was already looking back at you.

"yeah i already knew, those capsules are very see through y'know" Wooyoung chuckled seeing Yeosang turn red from embarrassment.

"I told you it was gonna be Yeosang" Wooyoung said to Mingi , rubbing it in while you just tilted your head in confusion.

"Wooyoung and Mingi made a bet on who would confess first when we arrived at the hotel yesterday, the loser had to buy everyone a coffee of their choice" Yunho explained noticing the confused expresssion in your face.

"and NONE of you bothered to tell us?" You shouted making a few members jump.

"Either way it was a win-win situation for all of us why would we?" Jongho interrupted in an attempt to calm you down.

"Okay fine I'll let you guys off this time".The members sighed in relief afraid that they would have to face your wrath.

"Should we go get something to eat at the cafe? Since Mingi's paying for the drinks we may aswell," Seonghwa suggested.Everybody (except Mingi's bank account) Nodded in agreement and you began making your way, clinging onto Yeosang's arm the whole way.

As you and the rest of the guys settled down at a table waiting for your drinks,You took out your Phone and took a few selcas of yourself to upload later.

You notcied Yeosang peeking at your screen so of course,you took a few with him

As the day came to an end you all returned to the hotel and got changed into casual clothes.

"Guys come here lets all take a photo and put these on". You pull out a few funny accessories that you bought on your way out of the theme park because why not?

Some of the members complained and whined whilst the others gathered around immediately posing to the best of their ability

After your mini photoshoot everybody settled down in their respective areas on the couch, you and Yeosang getting the smaller couch all to yourselves for obvious reasons.

As everyone finally decided on watching

Fight for my way Yeosang layed his head on your shoulder as you ran your fingers through his bright hair.Barely even a few episodes in and almost everyone was knocked out.

"Y/N," Yeosang mumbled, nuzzling his head into your neck.

"Hm?" you responded,too tired to form proper sentences

" 'm tired can we go and sleep now?" he asked softly his voice fading at the end of his sentence.

"yeah me too , lets go" You got up together and turned the tv off as everyone had fallen asleep.You grab a few of the hotels complimentary blankets and throw them over the boys , who were all huddled together on the couch.Then you made your way to your room where Yeosang was laying peacfully waiting for you.You switched off the lights and proceeded to climb into the blankets.You could feel Yeosangs breath on your neck as he wrapped his arms around your mid-riff, pulling you closer.

"good night Sangie, I love You" you give him a kiss on his forehead then turn back to face the opposite way.

" 'love you too" you heard him whisper much to your surprise because you expected him so fall asleep.You take one last selca but this time Yeosang was clearly seen in the frame hugging you but you didn't care you would've annouced your relationship the next day either way so you continued to type out the caption:

"Goodnight fearnot💤🌙 and goodnight Sangie 💙 @k_yeosang99" You posted without a care in the world knowing that you would get an absolute earful from the other lsfm members and fearnots when you wake up.

HI I FINISHED AFTG. what the actual fuck did i just spend the past three days of my life on. i am so confused at every single thing i just read but also at nothing at all. everything made sense for like two seconds.

first book thoughts: actual rollercoaster, does NOT set you up for the trainwreck that is the next two books, so confusing but also like weirdly addictive? like i feel in and out of interest here and there but it held my interest long enough

second book thoughts: SHIT GOT DARK QUICK. like holyyyy. i was just blinking at every other sentence because what actually was that book. uh. guess we in mafia now. these characters have never confused me more but also weirdly make so much sense. WHAT IS THIS. this writing style. it is killing me but i CANT PUT IT DOWN WHY CANT I PUT THE FUCKING BOOK DOWN
