Obsessed with how there’s still a chance Hillerska could reopen because that system is next to impossible to take down and the upper-class rarely face real consequences for their actions.

Obsessed with August’s face when he saw Wilhelm walking away, realising that he was trapped. Wilhelm said August was the heir they needed but he couldn’t have been more wrong - that man has bucket loads of trauma, an eating disorder he isn’t even close to ready to confront and no support system around him, he’s not gonna do much better with the role of Crown Prince than Wilhelm did.

Obsessed with Nils coming out to his friends and them easily accepting him, because their issue with Simon really was the fact that he was poor and a socialist, and Nils both still believes in the system he’s in and his queerness doesn’t destabilise the system the same way Wilhelm’s does.

Obsessed with Stella ending up with Fredrika, because although Rosh might have been fun to hang out with for a night Stella also still believes in and upholds the system she belongs to and Rosh was never going to fit in that system or uphold the traditional feminine values needed to survive in it.

Obsessed with how the monarchy is portrayed as unchangeable and impossible to modernise because it’s built on such outdated ideals.

Obsessed with the mix of both happy and open-ended endings.

there's something so poetic about young royals ending with the four characters who's journeys of finding themselves were so influenced and ruined by hillerska and the system all driving away from it laughing and heading towards something new together. they are literally leaving hillerska and the story they lived there behind

also also the way yeah simon and wille got to be together yeah 1000% but sara and felice!! god it’s so rare for any media to portray friendship and platonic relationships as just as important if not more important than romantic. but!!!!! they were also in that car!! they were endgame too!! it just brings me such joy that this silly angsty little romance can also put such value in friendship too <3 oh young royals writers just kill me

easily the best scene in the whole goddamn show.

I love felice so much!! she is such a warm person and a loyal friend! after the video leaked and everyone was gossiping shes the only one who pointed out that wille got outed and then spent all her time trying to find out who did it. she was inviting sara and simon to the movie night when everyone else at school was calling them freaks. she complemented simon’s song when jan olaf shut it down. she felt betrayed by sara, not bc august was her ex but bc she knew what he had done to simon and wille. she formed a beautiful friendship with sara when no one else gave her the time of day! she has a truly touching friendship with wille where she truly cares about his well-being! shes always there for the people she loves, even if shes struggling with her own issues. she is such a voice of reason in the overall story. I LOVE FELICE

Well, now I need a Young Royals movie of what Sara, Felice, Simon and Wille's summer vacation will be like.
