i really do like the idea that billy helps pete do his nails/does his nails for him, but it is important to take into account the fact we see him with his nails done in The Invisible Hand of Fate. so, my personal headcanon is that he used to go to a salon to get them done (back when he was still on quizboys) but stopped being able to afford it (in both the time and money sense) after he and billy left. that or he started trying to be more conscious about spending, and billy offered to do his nails for him as a way to cut down costs (though they definitely both know it’s just an excuse, especially when they don’t stop doing it after they move into rose’s home, dedicating an afternoon every once in a while to getting pete’s nails done). that being said, i don’t think pete actually cares about saving money, so it could also be that making the trip to a nail salon became way too much of a hassle. they (seemingly) live in the middle of a desert, there no way there’s a salon any closer than a 40 minute drive. OR maybe he’s just always done them himself, but when he and billy started living together billy started doing them for him because it just seemed like the logical thing to do. it’s harder to do your own nails than it is for someone else to do them, especially if you’re trying not to mess up one hand while doing the other. plus, they 100% enjoy the time spent on it- they put on a show in the background but usually just end up talking over it the entire time. with billy’s prosthetic hand, he’s a lot more precise than pete could ever conceivably be

Hamas has 136 hostages. Including women, and actual literal babies, assuming they're still alive, that is. This could all have ended weeks ago if they'd fucking returned them. Also why would the words of Ben Gvir not count? He is an elected minister, his words hold weight and they expose Israel’s clear intent to make Gaza inhabitable for Palestinians so that Israelis could settle in there— by destroying the infrastructures, making the health system collapse entirely, bombing entire residential neighborhood, Israel is trying to ensure that Palestinians wouldn't be able to return back to their land, because there is nothing livable left there.

And I'm glad you bring up all of this ending if the hostages were returned— Hamas tried to strike up a deal for the return of ALL the hostages, in exchange of the release of all Palestinian prisoners. There is a reason why Israel shot its own hostages when it mistook them for Palestinian civilians, waving a white cloth. Because Israel wants to kill Palestinians, to "thin out its population" (or maybe we shouldn't take into account the says and actions of Netanyahu too ://). This is why it targets schools and mosques and hospitals and ambulances and refugee camps. Israel knows that if it does get all its hostages back, then there would be nothing to “justify” its genocide in Gaza (although, as UN Secretary-General said : "Nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is beyond words")

Israel is the only reason why the hostages aren't fred yet. THEY are unwilling to negotiate the return because they don't want to stop this genocide. What good is a five days ceasefire only for the bombings to return? Do you even realize how psychologically traumatizing it is to have a countdown of when your massacre would resume? The only acceptable deal is for Israel to establish a permanent ceasefire, something that it refuses to do. The only one to blame is Israel.

And you say Israelis would instigate a coup to oust Netanyahu, that's nice, then what? Will you return the land to its rightful people? Will you give back Palestinians their rights unequivocally? i really think having an emotional connection is so important to bakugou sexually.

like, i think he has to be in the exact right mood in order to get off by himself at home alone. can't be too tired, can't be too stressed out, can't have too much on his mind regarding work or other things, and even if it's been a while and his body is sensitive and wanting for it—if his head is not right, he can sit there for hours and never reach his peak.

which is why i think ultimately he doesn't do it that often, because it pisses him off to waste the time and not find the release. makes him more agitated. i think porn for the most part doesn't help him because he's too picky, literature probably helps a bit more, but he's still picky, and his imagination can get him there, but his headspace has to be right.

and then he finally gets it: that heart-aching, stomach turning, body shaking want he's only ever heard about, and now finally feels.

The thing is, you don’t have to have a diagnoses to make simple “unmasking” changes that make your life easier. You don’t even have to self-diagnose! You are not appropriating anyone’s culture or struggles or hijacking anyone’s movement by allowing yourself to sway in line at the grocery store or buying a weighted blanket or using study or household hacks intended for people with ADHD. If you start favoring the needs that make your brain and body unique over the arbitrary norms of society, you’ll be better off, and you’ll be expanding the norms. It’s a win/win.
