just a reminder to COMPLETELY boycott Eurovision this year; Azerbaijan and Israel, despite committing genocide, are STILL allowed to compete & have NOT been banned. by refusing to ban both countries, Eurovision is profiting off of the genocide of Palestinians and Armenians.

do not listen to the artists. do not pirate or stream the artists' music, and this applies to ALL the artists who are competing and performing this year. do not listen to the songs on ANY platform, do not give them ANY attention.

write to your broadcasters and tell them you REFUSE to watch the channels until they recognise the Armenian and Palestinian genocides & that you find it disgusting how they are allowing Eurovision despite Azerbaijan and Israel's entries.

do NOT give eurovision OR the competing artists ANYTHING but silence.

boycott ALL of eurovision.

I wasn't allowed to take any pictures but I did keep the "how to hostage negotiate" hand out for years. for what. what was I going to do with that.

In my mind because of White Collar but did you know that, at least as of 15 years ago, high schoolers could just email their local FBI office and request an invite to this weekend FBI Youth Academy day?

Twenty of us fifteen years olds showed up and they were like yeah here's our office :) here's our bomb robot, you can drive it! let's do a polygraph on this fourteen year old. two of our agents are going to lock themselves in a back room and fake a hostage situation and you're going to have to hostage negotiate them out :) here's a slide show of a bunch of decomposing bodies.

#it's not really applicable to working with children #you have a kid have a melt down and lock themselves in the bathroom #and you and your three work buds whip out a white board #and begin an extensive conversation about preferred pizza toppings.....

#I sat next to this kid who was like 'yeah my uncle works here! I have no idea what he does. he's not allowed to tell us'.#serving as an enthusiastic but also very freaked out lead negotiator on that mock hostage negotiation was a formative experience tbqh #right now of course I'm very ACAB but at the time I was seriously pursuing becoming a federal agent.#then my conservative xtian debate league made the honestly brilliant choice to have us debate changes to the US justice system one year #which radicalized oh. probably all of us.#except for that one guy at nationals who told me under cross examination that he thought torture was cool and ok under all circumstances.#but everybody else.#tam.txt
