Lorelia
Personality
Lorelia is mischief personalized. She's a little chaotic and all over the place, but you can't stay mad at her for long. Just look at that precious face.
She is very interested in history and magic, having inherited that from her parent. She loves listening to stories, and is pretty much the only time she can sit still.
Backstory and Lore
Lorelia is the child of Magolor and Taranza, hence she has attributes of both. She's skilled with magic, though being so young she doesn't have quite a lot of control over it. Most of the time she's seen with either of her parents, but she can be off playing by herself occasionally.
She is situated in the future of the game canon, where Kirby himself is an adult. The family lives in dreamland somewhere near the dreamstalk.
As w/ last year, you're free to send in asks for her during (and after, anytime really) the tournament and I'll answer with a doodle! :>

🎶 (Music Notes) - Do they play any instruments? What kind of leitmotif and/or battle theme would they have? Are there any songs you associate with them?
Lorelia is interested in instruments, and while she isn't particularly skilled with any as of right now what with being a child, she does pick up something later on in her life.
Her songs - battle theme or otherwise - would be airy and playful. Something like this from Super Mario Galaxy fits the bill.
As for songs associated with her, Little Bird is one that comes to mind immediately. There are probably more, I just can't remember any for the life of me.
⚙️ (Gear) - Do they have any knowledge of, or connections to, the Ancients? What do they think of them?
Very losely. Halcandrans were related to ancients and Magolor is a Halcandran Decendant. Though, through his research Lorelia has also picked up on a thing or two about the current knowledge of them. She thinks it's all super interesting and wants to know more, even if a lot of it still goes over her head.
🔮 (Crystal Ball) - Out of all the treasures in the Great Cave Offensive, Kirby is letting your OC pick one from his stash to keep! Which one do they pick, and why?
She would go for the Raccoon Doll. Because it's a plushie and it's cute and she needs it.

🥘🧋⚡️ for Naos!
🥘 (Stew) - Do they have any favourite foods or comfort foods? What are their eating habits like? If absorbed by the Cook ability, what healing item would they summon?
Since Dark Matter feed primarily on negative energy (basicly how this works is that they get their energy from eachother, but if separated and not able to feed off energy alone they can eat anything), Naos isn't used to real food before he goes undercover in Dreamland. Thus he prefers pretty mild flavors, rather than anything really strong.
If he was absorbed by cook he'd most likely turn into something really odd. Just weird and out of place. Dry rye bread.
🧋 (Boba Tea) - Come up with a Kirby Café item themed around your OC! It can be a savoury dish, a drink, a dessert, or something else entirely.
Y'know. Now that I'm thinking about rye (and because it's almost easter) Naos could make for a fun and polarizing dessert: Mämmi. In essence it's a rye pudding/porridge/sweet slop that has both an interesting flavor and appearance. It's usually a case of hate it or love it, which fits for him.
⚡️ (Lightning Bolt) - Which Power Effects [Blizzard, Bluster, Sizzle, Splash, Zap] would their attacks grant? Do they have any particular weaknesses or resistances, elemental or otherwise?
Realistically he'd be elementless I think but it feels right to make him Zap. I don't think he'd have any specific weaknesses or resistances elementally, but magical attacks do hit better than physical.

Hey, if I’m not too late to the Kirby oc ask game, 🩷💥💌🍒🦋 for any for your ocs?
🩷 (Pink Heart) - If they were a Dream Friend, what would their moveset be like? How much HP do they have? Would they be a strong attacker, or would they take on more of a support role?
Naos moveset would be a combination of gooey's laser's and magolor's magic orbs. Definitely more ranged rather than melee.
Lorelia is a mix of magolors and taranzas movesets, naturally. Her main attack would be similar to Magolor's, but leave a sticky residue that could potentially trip up enemies.
💥 (Collision) - What’s your OC’s combat style like? Do they adhere to any particular code of honour or ethics in a fight, or are they totally unfettered by that sort of thing?
Naos is defensive and ranged.
Nati just doesn't fight.
💌 (Love Letter) - How easy are they to befriend? Are they more of a social butterfly or a lone wolf?
Lorelia befriends everyone. She likes friends.
Naos and Nati are both more reserved. Naos more due to his paranoia and not wanting to let people close, while Nati just doesn't have the energy to maintain a lot of relationships.
🍒 (Cherry) - Out of all of the Dream Friends [Kirby included], which ones would they get along with the most? The least?
Naos is drawn to Gooey, due to them both being Dark Matter. He doesn't mind Kirby, but is pretty wary around him.
Nati doesn't really care, she gets along with everyone equally.
Lorelia, outside the obvious bond to her parents, really idolizes Kirby.
🦋 (Butterfly) - Does your OC ‘fear the reaper’, so to speak? If they fused with Morpho Knight, what sort of form would they take on?
Out of the trio, Naos is really the only one who thinks about his mortality. He doesn't fear it really, but doesn't practically enjoy the idea either.
Nati, again, doesn't care. And Lorelia is too young to really get it.

Perhaps a little late to the party but whatever. I have two songs for them.

Firstly, Manchester by Kishi Bashi. The point of view switches between the two of them and most lyrics could be from either one's perspective. But one specific is "I haven't been this in love in a long time" for Taranza.

Secondly, Backyard Boy by Claire Rosinkranz with Magolor being the titular backyard boy and the song being from Taranza's pov.
Which songs do you associate with the Magoranza ship ?
I have been thinking of this recently, perhaps I could do a playlist while I'm writing my Magoranza fanfic.
I was wondering: what song make you think and/or imagine a scene between Magolor and Taranza?

Personally, the rendition of "Fly me to the moon" for Neon Genesis Evangelion automatically make me picture the first date of Magolor and Taranza. They are outside, perhaps on Taranza's terrace or on the Lor Starcutter deck, carefully doing a waltz together with the starry sky and a benevolent moon in the background (like in the Sectonia's boss fight).
Moreover, I see it sung from Taranza perspective, especially the part:
Fill my heart with song and let me sing forevermore
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you
You can even argue that the first lines "Fly me to the moon, Let me play among the stars" can take a more literal turn if you believe they are on the Lor.
I would like to obsess more about the potential meanings this song could have this scenario, like the "please be true" representing Taranza's hope that he isn't dreaming and that Magolor isn't going to disappear like Joronia, but I don't want to be too much of a long post for others to read.
