The mere existence of hank and dean on the venture bros sets the series up to ask fascinating philosophical questions like what constitutes being vs identifying? Did i do something simply because i have the memory of doing it? Am i an individual if i am one in a long line of mes? Do i deserve to live more than future iterations of me simply because they do not yet possess the memories i have? But it cant ask those questions because its too busy asking things like what if a guy dressed as a butterfly was trying to kill me? And what if supervillains were unionized? Which, i admit, are also fascinating questions
