so wild theory time but what if the Master is Omega's son
ok hear me out because that sounds insane but i think it kinda works? cause first off we know now thanks to the Timeless Children that the Doctor is the daughter of the Other(/Tecteun). the Other is a scientist and explorer and while their morality's differ to the extreme the Doctor does, on the surface level, adopt these traits from them.
we also know that the Doctor, in their first childhood, had a friend on Gallifrey. a friend with no name. a friend who... accidentally killed her during a fight. i know i'm not the first to say that the kid on the cliff is the Master but it's a good starting point
Tumblr media
so then we get to Omega, someone who was friends with the other two Founders and yet easily the one who's life we know the least about, at least from before he was chucked into a black hole. he wasn't an explorer like Tecteun, he was an engineer. he wanted to build his own things, be famous for his achievements and use them to obtain godlike power but when his usefulness ended he was thrown aside by Rassilon. does any this sound familiar?
All of those traits are shared by the Master.
lets cut to the End of Time real quick. the Master builds a device to bring Gallifrey back into the universe, allowing the next 'ascension' to take place (before the Doctor broke the machine) but when his moment of glory was about to come Rassilon, like Omega before him, threw him aside. obviously this is all pretty circumstantial and doesn't actually prove anything but then there's this exchange earlier in the episode
"Two Children of Gallifrey" could just be a poetic way to refer to two random Time Lords. except we know it doesn't, because the Doctor isn't a random Time Lord and even if the average Time Lord doesn't know that the Matrix Does. so if the Doctor is the daughter of one of the Founders then she is (almost) literally a 'Child of Gallifrey'. take the same idea and apply it to the Master and logic dictates he would be the child of either Rassilon or Omega
i think the most interesting part happens after that though, when the Time Lord dude refers to them as 'the Enmity of Ages' (which would be an amazing name for a band just saying) and Rassilon immediately knows that this means the Doctor and the Master. the only time we've seen him meet either of those characters before is in passing during the Five Doctors. it's easy to infer that he'd know the Doctor from their role Time War but the Master? he didn't fight in the war, he mostly refused to work with the Time Lords during the War and then hid himself as Professor Yana when it got too much so why would Rassilon, who has only seen the Master once when he was tied up on the floor in the body of a Trakenite, know that the Master was the other half of the Enmity of Ages?
you Could say he learnt of the Master's reputation during the Time War but i frankly don't think he'd care about that? so to me at least it feels like the best explanation would be that he's met the Master before, way back when he was first President. and the reason he's so disgusted by the Master, the reason he finds it amusing that the Doctor's 'final act' is the murder of Gallifrey is because he knows who these two are. he is staring at the children of his fellow Founders, realistically these two are the only people in the universe he might consider a threat to his power or his status, and much like he did with their parents he tries to use both of them before casting them aside but just like before they both come out the other end alive
also saying the Enmity of Ages to me infers a greater conflict than just that of two normal Time Lords. from any single character it would be just a dramatic phrase but this is directly from the Matrix itself, which knows all of Time Lord history, so they are a Big Deal
but now we skip to everyone's favourite episode: The Timeless Children (genuinely one of my favourite finales it gets such a bad wrap). we learn the Doctor has unlimited regenerations, or at least had unlimited regenerations at some point because whether they still do or not is kinda up to interpretation. it was the Doctor's biology which allowed the Time Lords to unlock the power of regeneration, however the Other limited the number of regenerations to 12 lives when giving it to the rest of the population. i think Tecteun's presence in Flux implies that she never limited her own regenerations and you could probably say the same to Rassilon's, with that being his secret of immortality.
now in the episode the Master claims that Tecteun took the ultimate sacrifice by testing the raw ability on herself, but suppose she didn't. suppose she had another test subject first. suppose she promised one of her friends that his son, the best friend of her own child, could become the first Time Lord to receive the gift of infinite life. suppose then that Omega, wanting glory for himself and for his son, agreed to this and allowed Tecteun test her discovery on the boy, who was then granted an endless cycle of regenerations to match his friend's. from there Tecteun, now knowing the ability would work, put into herself, into Rassilon and into Omega before limiting it to a dozen lives per person and spreading it out among the population.
it's a lot of inference i'll admit but it would add a good few extra layers to these lines:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and this of course opens the door to the possibility that other character's we've met of cryptic origin with seemingly impossible knowledge but too dark a morality to be the Doctor could be the Master instead. characters like Lee Clayton or Gat (obviously not both at once) could be an early version of the Master. maybe Magus and Hazel from the Forgotten Lives books are also past versions of the Master. hell if you want to go wild maybe even the War Chief is the Master from before they had their memory wiped (but thats very unlikely)
also as i was finding the right screenshots and clips for this post i found these as well...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the way the Master refers to the Founders as 'our parents' (Tecteun and Omega being referred to as separate parents, as a Thoschei shipper i'm not touching the sibling theory with a forty foot pole) does make me wonder if he found out about his own past too but didn't tell the Doctor, not wanting to admit that he was the reason for the Doctor's first regeneration, the reason for Tecteun's torture and experimentation on her and the reason she could safely discover the ability for herself
so yeah who's to say that the Master isn't Omega's child who, like Tecteun's child, was captured by the Time Lords, regressed into a child, restricted to only 12 regenerations and robbed of all their memories. maybe he isn't any of that though. i mean maybe he is just a whiny crybaby who wants to be as important as his best friend. maybe he was the Timeless Child and the Doctor was the kid who pushed her. maybe he's actually Rassilon's child instead. who knows? not me!

SCHEMATICS BOOGER-AIDS-V1 (aka: the first Omega Device)
Season 6, Episode 10 "Ricktional Mortpoons Rickmas Mortcation"
At the beginning of the episode, we see Rick C-137 attempting to track Rick Prime using a killbot (presumably stolen during S6E1):
Tumblr media
By the end of the same episode, the view pans out and we get a full view of Rick's sub-basement:
Tumblr media
Note the hologram of naked Rick Prime dancing in the centre.
Season 7, Episode 1 "How Poopy Got His Poop Back"
Tumblr media
Instead of the hologram of the naked dancing Prime, we have a computer monitor.
Tumblr media
When Morty asks him if he's made any progress, Rick sarcastically replies that he totally found the version of himself that killed his wife (heh) and they had a big fight offscreen and Morty just missed it!
Tumblr media
Season 7, Episode 5 "Unmortricken"
We see a view of Rick's sub-basement again, and guess what?
Tumblr media
There is a clone in there now...!
So, the first thought that pops in our minds is that between S7E1 and S7E5 Rick C-137 went out hunting, defeated and successfully captured one of Rick Prime's clones!
...But Rick's line in S7E1 suggests that the fight might have happened shortly before the beginning of S7E1, and the Prime Clone was being analyzed offscreen somewhere at the time.
Alright, let's head off to the next point.
Inside the Box, Rick Prime announces to the Ricks captured that Diane has been erased from every universe across infinity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To which Evil Morty responds:
Tumblr media
Even though Rick C-137 knows how the infinite murder took place:
Tumblr media
Evil Mortyyyyyyyyy... You had stolen Rick C-137's memories! Rick C-137 knows about this weapon, so you should know about it too! I mean, maybe Eyepatch Morty has passed by sentimental trivia of Rick's life when he watched the stolen memories, but this sort of weapon is definitely the sort of thing that would pique his interest (as we saw).
Why is Evil Morty not familiar with the Omega Device?
Well, the conclusion I get from the above is that Rick C-137 found out about the Omega Device after S5E10, after Evil Morty finished scanning his brain (and, uh, well, Evil Morty probably reached the same conclusion).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gee, which inferior would that be?
(and I'm wondering if some sort of unspoken communication is passing between Rick C-137 and Evil Morty at that moment, because the moment Rick C-137 mentions the name of the device Evil Morty glares at him, understanding that something occurred after he had scanned Rick C-137's brain. And Rick seems quick to deny any involvement: he only heard the name of the Device from some random, "inferior" Rick lol. This does not seem to placate Evil Morty.)
Back at the safety of Rick's sub-basement, Evil Morty chastises Rick C-137 for not learning to cut his losses and quit:
Tumblr media
And well, that line makes sense because Rick has ruined his life searching for Rick Prime, but it will make even more sense if my theory is correct :P
Rick, in turn, is already aware of the fact that Evil Morty is scared of the Omega Device.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which, well, makes sense, but I remember being surprised at that moment. The possibility of Rick Prime targeting Mortys out of spite had not crossed my head, although from what we now know of Rick Prime, it's actually to be expected.
Let's head to my third and final point:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rick, Rick, Riiiick... Why would you be bummed he built it again (after it was presumably destroyed somehow, by someone, in the past)? Of course Rick Prime built it again, why did you expect/hope it'd be otherwise?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And why would Rick Prime building the machine again be "impressive"? Even from Season 1 Diane was never around, she's been dead for years, obviously from the Omega Device! That's plenty of time for someone to destroy the first Omega Device, and for Rick Prime to build it again.
Of course, it's possible Rick Prime made the first Omega Device a long time ago, killed Diane, then had a clone guard his superweapon for many years, and Rick C-137 found and destroyed the weapon only recently (so of course he'd be surprised and bummed that Rick Prime re-built the weapon so soon)...
BUT.
Tumblr media
Interesting line, isn't it? And doesn't Rick appear to be seething in this scene?
Now, supposing Rick Prime has been messing with time... Isn't it possible that:
Shortly before S7E1 Rick C-137 managed to trace one of Rick Prime's clones/decoys, which eventually led him to the Omega Device v1 (pardon, Booger Aids v1)
And that Rick Prime's clone retroactively killed Diane across all infinities?
Wouldn't this theory make Rick's line in the above screenshot a lot more literal?
Wouldn't it make Evil Morty's glare in the box a lot more accusing?
Wouldn't it give more meaning to Evil Morty's remark about Rick C-137 "reaaally learning [his] lesson about chasing this guy"?
Wouldn't it make the threat of the Omega Device a lot more imminent, and a lot more personal, to Evil Morty? After all, if Diane is gone, killed a few months ago in retaliation not to a hundred different Ricks pissing off Rick Prime, but specifically to Rick C-137's failed quest for revenge, who is next when Rick C-137 next fails?
Wouldn't it make Rick Prime's line ("this guy does not know when to quit") a lot... heavier?
Honestly, for me, the cherry-on-top of this theory is the possibility of Rick Prime and Rick C-137 bickering: Rick Prime's clone proudly presenting the "Omega Device", Rick C-137 calling that name dumb, and then Rick Prime changing it to: "the weapon too cool for a name" lol

bsd ep 61 spoilers fr xoxo
so uh
that was a fucking wild ride
and it was only 30 seconds long
i have a couple of things to say on this subject
i also cant feel my hands from the cold so im dreading how long its actually gonna take me to write this post
ANYWAYS
Obvious spoilers for episode 61 preview!!!
~~~
So, my first thing was that Aya looks much happier in the anime than the manga lol. I don't know why this is important to me but I felt as if I should say it, because I don't know what exactly her plan is? But it's almost as if there's not a chance of her falling to her death involved in this little stunt that she's pulling.
Anyways.
Next thing to note is that she's clearly intending to land on something - and I saw a post just before that said maybe she misses the table and lands on Atsushi and Aku instead and in turn saves Atsushi from becoming a vampire. Which I do think is plausible - because if I've learned anything from this fucking series it's that if you expect something to happen after a certain thing happens, don't, you're wrong. Don't expect what you're expecting. It will be something completely out of left field that you get slapped across the fucking face with like a chilled fish bro that shit stings from the iciness.
Next, of course, Atsushi and Aku. Now, I don't think that Atsushi's going to become a vampire - it seems pretty long-winded now, plus where would the story go after that? Him and Aku just sit there and stare lifelessly at each other whilst Aya falls from the building? I think, maybe, Aku will see Aya falling, and his instinct will be to save her, because he's been keeping his promise to Atsushi, and maybe he recognises that if she falls and dies, it's "his fault" (it obviously won't be, but by means of association, the fact that he put her up there, he's like damn my bad fr) and go to save her, dropping Atsushi and obviously going to her, but I don't know, maybe that's not plausible at all.
Also, Atsushi is awake here??? Hello? Atsushi wasn't originally awake. Plus, Aku has that bitch hanging by Rashoumon - how has he gotten him awake and why's he pulled him closer? Anyways lol.
Next, FUCKING FYODOR AND NIKOLAI.
So, when I saw the split second of Fyodor, I actually almost did scream this time. Because I immediately recognised that he was in a vehicle of some kind. I, at first, thought that it was a van or a car, but someone else pointed out that it could have been a helicopter.
Ah, okay, looking back on the scene, that lowkey seems plausible.
For Nikolai.
Nikolai's hair is blowing in the wind. So either he's outside and it's windy, or he's in a helicopter or something. But Fyodor's scene looks pretty still. His hair isn't moving, the scenery outside is staying the same. It looks like a sky.
Behind Nikolai, it actually looks like a wall of some kind. Maybe a gate pillar thing. What if he's waiting outside Meursault, and sees Dazai and Chuuya coming out? I don't know.
Disregarding that theory, my guess is they're just trying to trick us into thinking that Nikolai is reacting that way because of Fyodor, or something he said, or him escaping, but I think that they're just two completely different scenes set at the same time maybe? I really don't know. I also don't know what Nikolai could have seen or heard for him to be shocked after smiling, I don't know.
Anyway, Fyodor is looking rather smug. No blood on him. And I don't really know, but we can't see his shoulder properly, but from what we CAN see, there's no wound or blood from where Sigma shot him. BUT that might be unimportant because I don't think Sigma actually shot him in the anime like he did in the manga. Just grazed him. Anyways.
He's looking fantastic for supposedly having just escaped Meursault after nearly drowning, burning his hand, getting shot in the shoulder, AND being covered in blood from where he'd just shot the time manipulator ability user.
He's clearly explaining something.
Also, is it weird if I say that he looks eerily similar to Mori here? Because I can't lie, he's looking an awful lot like him - more than he usually does. Violet eyes, long black hair, manipulative, etc. I don't know. It's also... is it an expression we see on Fyodor a lot? It seems... different. Off. What if this motherfucker's actually just Mori in disguise? LMAO Imagine I'd piss.
See, because, Nikolai isn't a happy surprised, or mildly amused. He just looks... shocked. I don't know.
I'm really looking into this sorry lol.
His hair's a bit messier than usual. Which, you know, valid, considering what's just happened. But... everything else is fine. No blood, no wounds, no anything. He's normal. So why is his hair a bit messier? Is it important or am I just looking too much into it? Maybe he was in a helicopter with Nikolai, or in a windy place. Also, just skimmed through episode 10, ignore me about the blood, he's apparently already wiped it off after he shot the bitch lol okay Mr. fucking hygiene.
Anyways, yeah, his shoulder has a rip in the shirt. I know we can barely see his shoulder in the clip we've been gifted with, but the rip is pretty high up. And, even after having a pretend mental breakdown, being drowned almost, getting shot, etc. Even after all of that, his hair does not look messy. WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT TO ME, I DON'T KNOW. I LOOK FOR THE SMALL THINGS I'M SORRY.
There's going to be a perfectly reasonable explanation for this and I'm just chatting shit.
Anyways.
I don't actually know what the fuck is happening here. I really don't. I'm just clutching at straws to preserve what little of my sanity Bungou Stray Dogs has left me with. I don't know. The way Fyodor is talking and just his expression doesn't sit right with me. It feels more like the way Dazai and Mori sometimes talk when they like know that they're right or explaining something or predicting or something, do you get what I mean? No? Okay. LMAO.
So, my next thing is of course the two fucking Fuku's because I lowkey wanted to scream when I saw Fukuzawa was not dead. I'm glad we have that confirmation - can I ask where the fuck the 'One Order' has gone though? Because Fukuchi's not holding onto it anymore. His arms bleeding. His neck is pouring with blood (fresh wound), but from what? Fukuzawa hasn't even took the sword out of him yet. How has he gotten sliced up already? He doesn't have any weapons on him. Neither does Fukuzawa. And, to me, it looks like Fukuzawa's just stood up or something.
And Fukuchi's reaching for something.
He's reaching out for something, and Fukuzawa has his back on him. Fukuchi looks enraged before he leaps at Fukuzawa, hand outstretched, maybe to grab Amenogozen, maybe not. But Fukuzawa is alarmed, and turns around, ripping the sword out of his fucking abdomen.
I don't know. The way Fukuchi ran towards him seemed... desperate. He seems like he's losing. His last resort. I don't know. It's just not very Fukuchi to charge towards him so clumsily and try and grab something the way he tries.
And again, why is Fukuchi's arm bleeding, and why is he sporting a rather Aku-type injury on his neck? Because it certainly seems that it wasn't Fukuzawa who caused that - he had his back turned and the only weapon he has is currently wedged deep inside of his stomach. Maybe it was Tecchour from afar. Maybe it was Tachihara manipulating metal. Maybe it was Kyouka. Maybe it was Yosano. Who knows. Maybe it was Fukuzawa.
Right okay so I've just skimmed through the episode again and Fukuzawa doesn't even have the fucking sword inside of him to begin with, so half of my rambling there has been rendered useless lol.
Anyways, and more importantly, where the fuck is 'One Order'?
It's no longer in Fukuchi's hand or ear. What the fuck?
His cape is missing. One Order is missing. Fukuzawa has somehow acquired a sword through his abdomen. Fukuchi is injured from his neck and arm. He's angry. Fukuzawa had his back turned. Fukuchi seems desperate for something.
Man, this is like a fucking riddle.
So, yes. Fukuzawa (quite easily, actually) rips Amenogozen out of himself and makes to swing for Fukuchi, who is without any weapons, injured, angry, and seemingly desperate.
Fuck, the sakura petals and the implication of Fukuzawa using Fukuchi's own sword to kill him, after fighting with him so many times oh my GOD I could get more into this but I won't, I won't. (Maybe later fr)
He seems pretty determined, dead-set on slashing this bitch. However, he becomes shocked at something, and not just a normal shock. That's an "Oh, fuck." shock. Then, it cuts to Fukuchi fucking smiling.
Smiling and reaching a hand out to Fukuzawa. We don't see his eyes. We only see his smile. A portion of his hand. The sakura petals. AAAA I'm so fucking sick.
Then, of course. We get a flashback. They're fighting. And for just a split second, you can see a smile on Fukuzawas face. Literally such a minuscule fucking thing.
And then it cuts to them now. And I don't mean now as in, middle of battle now, nor do I mean prior to their fight now. I mean, now. I don't know where now is or how it came to be, but they're obviously in their current attire. And you can see the wound on Fukuzawa's back. You can literally see it. So, whether they both die and this is some sort of heaven sequence, or something happens and they clash inside Amenogozen, and time is slowed or something, I don't know.
Does a sword count as a subordinate to Fukuzawa? Because if so, he can utilize that sword and manipulate it to his heart's content.
Anyways, it's peaceful. There's two cups of tea on a bench ahead of them. There's a fuzzy sort of outline to everything, maybe trying to make us assume that it's a flashback, when it is, in actuality, not. Unless, they've had a fight very similar to this one, in the same attire, but at a different time (obviously) and it wasn't fatal (again, obviously).
Now, this was honestly just me trying to put the preview in order in my head and I thought other people might like to read my thoughts lol.
Long story short, there was a lot to unpack here, and I think a lot of hidden meanings and misdirections, trying to make us think one thing but in fact it's going another way.
Anyways, have a lovely day/night! Thank you for reading ^^
(Wow, I did not mention Soukoku or Chuuya and Dazai ONCE in this post (shush I mentioned Dazai before that doesn't count) and yes I am hoping that they showed us nothing in this preview because they're fine and safe and going to pull something off and be very surprising but we can only dream and fuck I'm dreaming so hard I'm DELUSIONAL bro)
Round 2 of 8, Group 4 of 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media
propaganda and summaries are under the cut (May include spoilers)
Gravity Falls: 2.11 Not What He Seems
The twins wonder if they really know Grunkle Stan after he is taken into custody by the government agents.
this episode is everything. The title references one of the first ciphers you could find in the show: STAN IS NOT WHAT HE SEEMS. The end of episode one has Stan being super sketchy. You spend all of season one wondering when he’ll turn evil. And then he doesn’t. You’re pulled along. You learn to love him. And then he’s being MORE suspicious right in front of your face in season 2. NWHS premieres. The kids have to question if they trust Stan. YOU question if you trust Stan. Everything’s happening all at once and then the whole sequence at the end. Oh my god. Heart stopping. Dippers betrayed shouting, Soos’s desparate protection of the kids, Mabel! MABEL! Her trust, her belief, despite EVERHTHING. And then the end. Oh my god the end. The reveal that broke the fandom. Shattered everyone. NWHS is the best piece of TV I’ve ever seen.
the next episode didn't come out for two months and the fandom was frothing at the mouth waiting for it.
The drama. The mystery. We've known forever that Stan was hiding something. We get a payoff to the portal. We find out who The Author Of The Journal is and It's His Fucking Twin. That one scene where gravity turns off and he escapes the cops (feds?). Mabel saying Grunkle Stan, I Trust You. Most iconic and badass episode of the show.
It is just incredible. The biggest reveal of the series happens at the end (this description will contain spoilers but I'm staying vague as possible until the end where it will spoil the reveal to give people time to stop reading this). The amount of suspense and emotional tension that builds and builds over the episode is just incredible. Even after seeing it dozens of times I am on the edge of my seat watching it. The way Dipper and Mabel find out pieces of the puzzle, both things the audience has seen and been speculating on, and new things. The way their first theory about Stan is presented and then show the painting of him smiling CHILLS. And the scene in the basement where Stan finally gets there and he and Dipper have such an emotional fight about all the secrets. And then Mabel caught in the middle and how she is distressed but ultimately trusts Stan. Oh the shot of her letting go is so iconic. And then of course the big author reveal moment is the most amazing thing ever. Ok here is the SPOILER WARNING FOR THE BEST TWIST IN THE SHOW The way Ford's silhouette is seen coming out of the portal then the six fingered hand over the journal and then his face is revealed while Stan says The author of the Journals... my brother. Just top tier scene in every way. I don't think any episode in any other show has ever done to me what this episode does to me.
The Haunting of Hill House: 1.10 Silence Lay Steadily
tws for general horror content, death, and drug abuse
The Red Room's contents are finally revealed as the Crains return to the house to confront old ghosts, unspeakable secrets and an insatiable evil.
the entire show is a masterpiece but this episode gets me, especially the part where the siblings talk to nell in the red room. i think about “i loved you completely. and you loved me the same. that’s all. the rest is confetti” EVERY SINGLE DAY
time for episode 5
Tumblr media
wow i really just... do not care for peil's mobile suits at all. i bought a pharact kit, but still haven't even built it. it'll probably be my next build though.
Tumblr media
by the way i like how we start this ep and miorine's already hanging out at earth house 👀
Tumblr media
man, this scene is just so amazing once everything comes together and you know about the replichildren and suletta's place in everything lmao
Tumblr media
i am... so so so glad i started watching this show after the el4n arc was over because i would have been so scared like everyone else that we were being baited lmao
i still haven't decided if suletta legitimately had a crush on el4n or not. like even here in this scene after lilique and everyone is all like ooooh suletta has a date, she vehemently denies it's a date. and yea sure you could use the excuse that "haha shes embarrassed!!!" but suletta's kind of honest to a fault. at the same time, suletta is really really bad at picking up social cues lol. she does agree with prospera on their call though that its hang out with a friend
Tumblr media
no mask prospera sighting and she's sitting down again
Tumblr media
ok like how the fuck does he know this?! he obviously got the info about vim's assassination plans too... but like FROM WHERE?!?!?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
mio...
Tumblr media
i wonder if anyone's written about the fact that el4n reads schopenhauer lol asceticism fits him well i suppose and i kinda wonder how he'd get along with norea vs el5n
Tumblr media
yeah so like everyone but suletta is trying to turn this into a date lol
Tumblr media
was this episode when the eri = aerial theories started? like for sure i figure once el4n gets wrecked by aerial in the next ep it mustve taken hold completely. since i binged the first like 8 eps, at the time i still wasn't really keeping up with the discourse but it feels like the show was pushing hard to make sure you picked up on hey maybe aerial is that little girl idea
Tumblr media Tumblr media
huh i'd kinda forgotten the el4n vs. guel duel is because of guel running over to see what's going on. lmao considering guel doesnt know at all about the elans, he mustve thought elan was some grade a creep what with literally stopping him from being an ass to suletta multiple times throughout the series
Tumblr media
lmao miorine
and lilique is just here fucking stoking the flames of jealousy
Tumblr media
shaddiq's probably always hated guel, huh? he must've known that a worst case scenario here for guel would be bad news once vim found out
Tumblr media
the story of guel jeturk
Tumblr media
not as if we don't know that the pharact is only possible because belmeria is on the peil payroll, but damn she just really did copy the pre-production lfrith's bits huh
Tumblr media
i wish i remembered my reaction to this scene on my first watch because at this point belmeria having been part of the vanadis institute and possibly being the one who sold them out is so engrained into my brain lmao but this was obviously a Big Deal
Tumblr media
kinda laughing at this because everyone's reactions make it seem like el4n was just absolutely brutal and like... apart from ripping off the dilanza's antenna, he didnt really do anything differently than what suletta did in episode 1?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
lmao their reactions make it seem like el4n just murdered him on live tv
it is a huge fall from grace for guel though and i suppose with the reputation as the ice prince of asticassia, el4n's behavior warrants a what the fuck from everyone
Tumblr media Tumblr media
poor miorine sounds so hurt and betrayed here. like finally she was working alongside someone who took her into account and treated her as an actual human being so yeah, it was kinda messed up that suletta accepted this duel without her input. although as we learn later on, as the holder, if you're challenged to a duel, you can't exactly back out, so suletta hasnt exactly done anything wrong by accepting the possibility of a duel. she just probably should've brought it up to miorine sooner
wow so i definitely thought the pharact always looked cool and evil in the show and when i got into gunpla a few months back and saw the actual gunpla kit for it...
Tumblr media
i am so sorry but lmao it looks like a fucking mosquito to me
i promise some time before the summer is over that i will build my pharact kit lmao
ok leaving ep 6 & 7 for tomorrow because i usually make these posts as i'm watching the episode and i end up taking an hour or more to watch an episode sometimes because of it
Helluva-Hazbin Effect AU Theory: If Lucifer x Shepard Were Shipped...
[Note: reading this weird fanon type theory is optional, but it is still for mature audience readers only....(if you want to skip this very long note, you can scroll down...) also, make sure you have watched all the episodes of Hazbin Hotel Season 1 first, before you read this...which by the way that show and Helluva Boss, are for Mature Audience Readers Only, of course...so Gray-Parents better be watching and stop scapegoating...cause not all cartoons are for kids, and are for a much older people...that needs to be told to some who need to learn this, and some parents can't keep with the poor excuses forever...but at least some parents at least try to be better and keep their kids from things they shouldn't see or play until they are the right age, like a video game or cartoon or movie. or some books...I still think there should be a type of App that should be for those under the age of 15, that will keep them busy and not try to go to the full internet until they are a bit older. I mean there are much younger kids and there is just some stuff that can't see until they are at the right age to view them...and one time I had to stop my younger cousin, who is kind of like adoptive cousin...but I caught them trying to play my Deadpool game, and no one even bothered to stop them and or notice what they were doing. probably because they were busy with something else I guess. I had to stop them myself and I learned that I have to hide some of my mature stuff whenever they came to visit, either it be a video game or a movie. I think someone had been touching the back of one of my game discs, the Xbox One can't read them, we do plan to fix them and I hope we do fix them soon...I think I still care about them, and I can view them as family still, but half the time I don't know if they understood that I want to be left alone in my room half the time, like I guess they just wanted to hang out and I don't think I mind hanging out at times but at times I just don't want to be around others in real life, I need some time to myself, to just be by myself and just maybe listen to music or maybe read...after what happen in 2015, I think it made me a bit more wanting to be left alone when I need it (it might be because of my much older cousin and the other house guests are to blame but I don't fully blame the little kids who didn't know any better...but my older cousin and his wife should of known better, I didn't get much of that privacy to work on something on the computer...because they kept coming into the room I was in and invading my privacy and I had to lock that door at some point...I know I had talked a bit about it at the place I was trying to write a fanfic at, but I couldn't make more chapters of it, because they just wouldn't stop coming into that room and wouldn't leave me alone so I can be by myself...), even if I can still talk or be in the same room as others at times...but some might not fully get it, I don't know. maybe I can talk about in a future post...but yeah, once again this post is for Mature Audience Readers Only....and sorry if this Note was so long.]
so anyway, the weird idea I have in my head, is if Charlie's Dad ends up out of Hell, but to the more advance part of Earth, not the one that is less advance, where Verosika Mayday have been to, as well as I.M.P....
but like right next to the towns and cities they been to in the human world, will also be the newer buildings, and there is that whole not knowing that half of the humans live on other planets now, so if they die on other planets.
they the humans who die but not on Earth, might end up in another part of the afterlife sector of either Heaven or Hell, since the ones over at The Sol System is still on that very super long quarantine, and not talking about from Covid-19, I'm talking about one that happen a super long time ago....before cartoons, video games and all other fun stuff.
if Lucifer had become part of the Normandy, and became a part of the optional love interests for either John or Jane Shepard...
well who knows what that romance would be like, I kind of want to ship him with Commander Jane Shepard.
well if at some point Garrus Vakaraian ends up with Tali'Zorah in a Crossover AU called well whatever it will be called, besides that title for this post...
Shepard can have bad luck when it comes to choosing love interests, well that we choose for them...half of the time they work out, other times not so much.
I mean even if you don't cheat and are loyal to Jacob, he does technically cheat on Jane Shepard.
which you will end up finding out if you had romanced him or if you didn't romance him, you will find out he is going to be a Dad to the woman he ends up forming a romantic relationship with.
but if Shepard (the Fem-Shepard that is the default avatar with the name Jane) and Charlie's Dad were ship together...
would they be called "ShepApple"....?
or would it be like "AppleShepard"....?
well, I'm weird and I may have thought about weirder ships...
Millie might try to convince Moxxie to adopt Grunt.
just picture Millie and Moxxie going to her family's ranch and introducing Grunt as their new son from another planet. XD
if anything should start with Shepard from Mass Effect and Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel, it should be that the moment they met, they didn't really get along very well and as time went on when working together during the whole stuff that goes on in Mass Effect 1 and then Mass Effect 2, they end up falling in love, and even staying together even when it gets to the Mass Effect 3 timeline.
I'm guessing that Lucifer would be a inch shorter than Jane Shepard.
well not sure what else to say about this idea, only that I got this idea in my head and it has to do with in a type of Fanon Timeline in a Crossover AU, Charlie's Dad & Commander Jane Shepard end up meeting, fight with each other, mostly yelling, and a few years later they end up falling in love.
in a Crossover AU, it could turn out that the place that Alastor was for 7 years, was in space and half the time he was either on the Normandy or on the Citadel, and everyone who saw him thought he was just a new type of Alien, when really he wasn't...
anyway maybe if I feel like it and able to get around to it, I can try to draw a Crossover ship drawing of Jane Shepard (Mass Effect) x Lucifer Morningstar (Hazbin Hotel) but not right now at this moment.
but I can try to do it when I feel like it and am able to...
also it's okay not everyone likes that ship idea, not all ships have to be super famous even if some percent of them are fanon but fans end up falling in love with the idea of two characters from two different shows or movies or video games or books, being together. :)
and I might be in super weird mode if I want to ship those two. XD
Howdy, Moz fans. This is incredibly exciting to be with you here today for Whiteboard Friday. Most of these help you with really cool strategic and tactical stuff, and today we're going to be optimizing something super different. It's your career. It's the most important thing in the world.
This talk is going to be especially useful for people in the beginning and middle stages of their career. Perhaps you've just started out in your journey in SEO, perhaps you've started to take on some more challenging work, perhaps you're given more areas of responsibility, and you're trying to understand how do I get to that next step. You're thinking about, "How do I go from maybe being a specialist to a manager, to a senior manager, or maybe even better, to a director or a vice president in an organization?" For me, this was a really exciting journey. I want to share with you some thoughts that I've gathered along the way in the hopes that you, too, can have a little bit of the same kinds of outcomes that I've been able to do.
The steps are pretty simple. The execution takes time and a lot of dedication and a lot of effort. So if you're a striver, a trier, someone who just really has a lot of energy and drive, you're going to get a ton out of this today.
The first thing that I want to say is that if you are just slightly strategic, just slightly strategic, imagine yourself as a shepherd and you're up on top of a mountain and you have all of these sheep, and all you know is that you need them to go downhill. It's that level of strategy that's necessary to get to the next place. You don't have to know everything. You don't have to be an expert in all areas of SEO, and we'll get into that in a second.
What are we really talking about? We're talking about craft, and we're talking about people primarily in this process that we're going over. For me, a lot of this comes from a blog post that I read by a guy named Jason Roberts. He published this in 2010. It'll be a link in the show notes. For him, it was called the Surface Area of Luck. This blog post blew my mind when I read it, because it's all about the doing. It's about the craft. It's about the skills. It's what we learn, it's what we do, and it's about the telling. It's how we communicate to others the qualities and the skills that we bring to the craft every single day.
So what we're talking about are things like learning how to do great work and how to tell people about it. The better we do and the more skills we learn and the more people who know about it, and it's not just all of the people, it's the right people, that will accelerate your career through all those steps that I talked about before, whether it's from specialist to manager, manager to director, or director to vice president.
So what are we really talking about? We're talking about getting smarter. We're talking about when we start in SEO. I think it's crazy important to start in an agency environment. My theory is that if you're in an agency, you're exposed to all different types of problems and all different types of clients and all different types of verticals.
As you get started, part of learning is learning how to think. It's learning how to make decisions. It's learning how to look at data. It's learning the fundamentals of the web, how to build HTML, maybe some cascading style sheets, maybe a little bit of JavaScript, just a little just to know what it is. Learning a lot about different types of SEO with different types of clients, learning the challenges that happen in a local SEO type challenge, learning about the challenges that come into play when you're learning how to build content, learning how to build stuff around strategy, learning all about e-commerce SEO as well. So getting this wide array of exposure so you can learn all about the different types of problems.
What you're going to find in that process is you're going to start getting excited and passionate about something, and you're going to find yourself talking to people, and you're going to find yourself following people on social media that are experts in one specific thing. You're going to watch Whiteboard Fridays about specific topic areas. You might find yourself going super deep into technical SEO. You might find yourself going super deep into e-commerce SEO. You need to listen to that, because that's your inner self telling you where your passion is.
This is our Moz-shaped superpower. This whole process of learning is really important, and it's really important because it helps you unlock your superpower. Going from going wide, almost like what Rand talked about all those years ago with a T-shaped marketer, that's a lot what we're talking about, getting a really nice wide foundation early in our career so that we can unlock what our superpower is.
What is our superpower? It's that thing that keeps you up at night. It's that thing that when you wake up, you think about. It's that thing that you can't find yourself stop talking to your colleagues about or reaching out to other people on social media. Notice, when we start talking about reaching out to people on social media, that's where we get into the people portion of this process.
So once you find your superpower, you want to get really, really good at it, and you're going to find yourself up-skilling religiously. You're going to learn all kinds of new technologies. You're going to learn processes and workflows to help you get the most out of that superpower.
This is where we get to the next stage, and this is incredibly powerful. As you start to improve and start to go down that path, remember this concept of the sheep. When you start to unlock your superpower, it doesn't mean that you're going to end up walking in a straight line. It's going to be meandering, and it's going to be in a direction, and you should expect that and be open to change and open to possibilities.
Once we know what our superpower is, we can start to think about our board of advisors. These are the people who are 6 to 24 or 36 months ahead of you. The reason that we're targeting that very specific range of time and world of experiences is that they're going to be able to have all of the same recent learnings and recent challenges that you're going through in the back of their own minds, and they're going to do everything that they can to help you.
So start to pay attention on social media, places like Twitter, places like LinkedIn, and start following the people who are doing the thing that you're really passionate about. Start liking and commenting on their tweets, maybe comment, and eventually you're going to find yourself reaching out to them directly and saying something like this via a direct message. "I love what you're talking about and the problems that you're working on. Would you be open to a Zoom? I'm trying my hardest to build my network, and I'd love some time. Thoughts?" Keep it really simple, value their time. What you're going to find is that if you're kind and you're nice, people will go above and beyond to help you in your career.
So we're building our board of advisors here. What you're going to find is that these people care a ton about your outcomes, and they're going to do whatever they can to introduce you to other people who are going to be able to help you as well.
Now that we're talking about people, we all know how to be a good person. The core of it is being nice. You're going to find, and this has played so well for me in my career, that if you're kind, genuinely caring about your peers and colleagues across our industry, you're going to find that the industry will open up to you like an oyster.
More things on people. You're going to find a need to connect with these people who share that same passion, and that's when we get into this idea of community. This is critically important. When I started in SEO, I had no idea how I fit into anything. I had a 20-year career doing retail, and I also had a lot of experience building websites, but I didn't have direct SEO experience. I knew I liked automation. That was my sheep down the mountain moment. But I didn't really see my community. I would advise that you try and find one on Slack, Discord, or maybe a YouTube channel that you're really passionate about. If you don't see a community, make one. Sounds crazy, right? Then, after you join this community, you're going to find that if you're producing content, we're telling mode, we're telling the world about what we do, if you're producing content, whether it's a podcast, a YouTube channel, or maybe it's articles because you don't feel comfortable yet being in front of your peers, maybe imposter syndrome is still like totally overwhelming at times, you're going to find that starting to get in touch with that community is going to open up more and more doors for you. It's this concept of the Luck Surface Area. The more we do and the better we get at it and the more people that know about it, the better our world will become.
What you're going to find is that the next stage, if possible, if you can get yourself to that place, is to consider speaking in public. You're going to find that that's incredibly powerful. If it sounds scary, start really, really small. Go bigger, start at a local meetup, speak at a local conference, try and go a little bigger and see what your comfort level is. If you like it, you're going to find that there's no better opportunity for opening doors for you.
So that's it. It's the Luck Surface Area. If you embrace this and really dedicate yourself to upskilling, you're going to develop the types of skills and relationships that make you impossible to ignore in our industry. If you do that in five, six, seven years, you'll be able to move from being a specialist through management into being a director and hopefully a vice president. I hope you guys got a ton out of this today. I'm super grateful to be here, and y'all take care. Cheers.
So I’ve been thinking a lot about s2 of ofmd and where (if it gets renewed) the story is going to go. But FIRST, I wanna state the obvious by talking about where we find stede at the end of s1:
Stede
* Wrapped up loose ends with his wife (this would effectively end that storyline as his wife has no interest in the sea and is pretty content where she’s at)
* Is separated from Ed and is presumably trying to find him to make amends
* Has no money after explicitly telling his wife that he wants to give everything up and start over
* Is a fugitive of the crown after both he and Ed ran away
So my prediction for where season 2 is going to start off…
* Where do we start?
I highly doubt we will pick up where we left off. This show messes with time and distance constantly and getting into the logistics of the number of people that can fit in that row boat, how stede even found them, where they plan on going next, or how he would’ve even known to look on a random deserted island need not be addressed. I think stede giving up his fortune will be a plotline that will 100% be explored (more on this in the next point). If they DO pick up immediately where we left off, I’d expect a comedic scene where everyone breathes a sigh of relief until stede casually drops that he is flat broke and that they’re on their own to start from scratch. It is more than likely this initial episode will feature a time skip that displays a more unhinged Ed and a Stede that has to spend the season learning what it truly means to be a pirate without someone holding his hand through it.
* Where does Stede’s character go from here?
So while Stede undeniably resolved one of his major plot lines in the first season (abandoning his family), there are still two major plot threads that are viable for his character. The first being his departure from the “Lilly-livered rich boy” archetype to becoming a clever, self-sufficient pirate, and the second being his romance with Ed and overcoming their separation. While both were jump-started in the first season, Stede still needs to prove that he can command a crew without the compulsion of pity or money. I think by giving up his fortune, this season will be Stede’s opportunity to self-actualize independent of Ed. This will involve actual (likely comedic) acts of piracy that stede has never done intentionally since he never really HAD to. This could also manifest in a treasure hunt (unlikely, due to the fact that we had a failed treasure hunt in s1) since stede and his crew will be strapped for cash. I put this theory forward since Stede seems to be so fundamentally opposed to the act of thievery (even when they “pillaged” that ship he would still switch out books he’d read for books he hadn’t - and I’m not sure that would entirely change about him) that he would stubbornly try to drag his poor crew to the site of some famed treasure to get the cash they need. This could be a driving force for the plot as well as a way to introduce other, new pirates competing for the same treasure. While Ed is established to not care about such things, we never know!
* What about Ed?
Ive tried to think through Ed’s personality as both Blackbeard and Kraken. He doesn’t really seem to go into an altered state when committing horrific acts (at least so far as we know). The shot of him crying at the end of the season shows that he still feels very deeply about Stedes departure when you would assume that his complete transformation was a way to protect himself from those feelings. Regardless, I do agree with the widespread theory that the season will likely include a tense swordfight between the two (sign me up). Like Stede, Ed has two major plotlines that can be explored: his romance with / separation from Stede as well as who he is outside of being Blackbeard. I would not be surprised if they spent the first couple episodes apart as a way to build tension for their eventual reunion. While Stede will likely spend that time becoming better at swordfighting, the “art of fuckery”, etc., Ed will become a shadow of his former self. That decline will probably be done in such a way that the audience will wonder if Stede can win him over again (otherwise what’s the point of it all). However, I do think that they will make up and it’ll happen towards the end of the season — either after a drawn out conflict between the two of them or a threat that makes them have to join forces (don’t forget the English are still after both of them).
Those were just some of my predictions — I would’ve done some for other characters, but they’re pretty basic and I’m too tired to go through everyone right now. (I’ll just say that Lucius is definitely alive)
Gimme your head cannon theory 0W0
Basically I think a lot of what we saw in the finale was gonna be like seasons worth of storytelling and character arcs condensed into an hour and 13 minutes, so shit's gonna get cut or we're gonna have things (like Becky Apples which has a lot of build up but next to no pay off except that she's incredibly deadly and was also Gary's horse) that kinda go no where (ha!).
Which is fair when the assholes at Netflix fuck you over production wise [allegedly] [I don't think Netflix would Sue me over a Tumblr post but it's the end of 2021, anything could happen]
So my theory that this Rider, Horse is actually a Centaur was dropped for conviene and clarity within the story but you can still see evidence of it like:
Rider and Horse's relationship being incredibly close and is clearly framed as something that's more than friends but not romantic but clearly a deep deep bond, see the song "who is she?" And it's reprise where the "she" being sung about is either Rider or Horse
Horse knows the Nowhere King song, how TF would she know that if she hadn't been the rift space before, aka where the Nowhere King was making his family
Both Rider and Horse are portrayed as being incredibly similar, like during The Ballad of Becky Apples, one could argue that Rider is acting like a human version of Horse
The song Rider and Horse sing at the end of Season 1 is the exact same Melody as the Nowhere King, it's the only other song they get together other than their reunion and Rider's Lullaby, this isn't random, you don't give your main duo a duet with the Villian's melody without it meaning something and considering what we learn is that the Nowhere King is a split up elktaur whelp what other conclusions can you draw?
Horse is the one with all the magic, ok this one is strange but hear me out and I know we barely get to see Rider in Centaurworld other than the hair changing, but when you look at the rest of the herd and their magic; portal tummy, shapely mane, tiny version of ourselves from our hooves, stretchy Durpleton's neck almost all of their magic (other than pensile eyes, Chef's handsome for 8 seconds and Wammawink's shaman school drop out magic) comes from the animal part of their bodies, so it makes sense that horse is the one getting the magic powers while in Centaurworld while Rider isn't, also Horse was already using magic by the time we got to the tree shamans so if Rider had magic, it be on display by the time we got her "she's actually not dead! Yay!" Scene
The fact that Horse spends time in her OG form with the Elk part of NWK meanwhile Rider spends time with General, it's like poetry, it rhymes
The fact that they set up their is a missing centaur from Centaurworld, Malandrew's mother who I originally thought was Becky Apples
The fact that Rider's hair changed so quickly while in Centaurworld while WaterBaby did not while in human world, hell it took 4 episodes for Stabby to change but not Rider
Both Rider and Horse feel the same age, like logically they shouldn't, Horse is a horse, Horse's ages are different to humans they live a fraction of what we do and with the herd being at least in their 40's (how was that the most shocking twist?) both Horse and Rider both feel younger and like they're still trying to figure out who they are.
Anyway that's my theory, if you enjoy? Great if you didn't? Cool what's yer theory about Centaurworld?
And if any of ye reading this happen to have worked on the show, cuz I know there's a lot of ye on here, thank you.
Whether you were a writer, storyboarded, animator or background artists or any other of the many many important jobs that make animation what it is, thank you for this show. Thank you for every fucking frame and moment, I love you and you deserve a bowl of soup and a big ol nap
this is your chance: wax poetic about an Empires or DSMP character of your choice to a fan who is new to both. Explain why I should love them. I need guidance in this new and meme-populated land.
okok this is a lot of pressure haha. Spoilers for EmpiresSMP and DreamSMP below, obviously. I wrote a lot so prepare yourself, anon
I watch a lot of empires POVs but the ones I most anticipate every week are Scott and Sausage.
c!Scott (I'll call him Smajor for the sake of simplicity) starts off the series chilling, not really getting involved with the rest of the server, and staying aggressively neutral. After all, he's an elf. He has lived far longer than most of the other rulers already, and will most likely outlive them for many years. So, the best thing is to stick to his mountains and not get invested in the dealings of mortal affairs, maybe sometimes causing problems on purpose and dipping because what's life without a little spice right.
But then, this demon comes to the server, Xornoth. He's going around causing havoc and wants to send the world into an eternal winter, but he doesn't bother the kingdom of Rivendell much so Smajor stays tentatively cautious but ultimately unbothered. But then, the puzzle pieces start falling together. The first thing that the audience noticed was was Xornoth sounded like Smajor, but we mostly thought that this was just due to cc!Scott voicing both of them and there was nothing more to it. However, then, the people the demon starts possessing start chanting in elvish. The demon hates mortals, and the elves are conveniently one of the two confirmed not fully mortal races in Empires.
This culminates when Smajor stumbles across a cave that contains the backstory of the patron god of Rivendell, Aeor. Basically, there's two opposing forces, Aeor and Exor, and both have a champion. In a previous life, those champions were two brothers, where Aeor eventually prevailed and banished Exor. In this life though, the champions are - you guessed it - Smajor, and the demon Xornoth.
So now Smajor is like. Well fuck. It's my literal god-given destiny to be responsible for defeating this demon who is technically my brother, and if I fail the server gets plunged into an eternal winter. And I have no fucking clue what is happening because I've just been here on this mountain actively trying to stay out of the issues outside my kingdom. We watch him panic and teeter on the verge of spiraling for an entire episode, and when the followers of Xornoth go to the End to kill the dragon, releasing Xornoth's full powers, he fails to stop him. Smajor is a character who was used to being the smart one, the prepared one, the one who has the least deaths on the server. But he's also a character who runs away from his problems and ignores them. Before and during the dragon fight, we hear the desperation in his voice, as he's thrown into a situation he is wholly unprepared for, and it's bigger than him going to the Cod Empire to kill their king, or assisting in other people's plans to kill the codfather. He can't run from this. cc!Scott plays this scene so well as well, as I've said before, one of the best parts of Scott's acting is how he's never super dramatic, but he's so effective in the little things like inflection to make you feel, viscerally, the panic and dread.
So after the dragon fight, Smajor realizes, I can't do this on my own. I've tried and failed. So he gets allies. We watch him, someone who has so strongly been an isolationist, learn the benefits of allies and watch him learn to trust others and watch him learn how to get that trust in return.
My favorite thing about Smajor's characterization is that he's an incompetent protagonist, but not in the way of the "plucky young adventurer". He's capable skill-wise, and fairly jaded and very pessimistic. However, his issue is that up until recently, he did not care about the rest of the server at all, and by the time he learned to, it was way too late.
Also, in 3rd Life, cc!Scott and cc!Jimmy were canonically married and they reference it sometimes in Empires. Like, Scott goes over to the Cod Empire every so often both in and out of character to kill and/or flirt with Jimmy, the ruler of the Cod Empire, which may develop as a secondary plot into the future who knows. So ty Scott for giving the gays what they want o7
Now onto Sausage: his is a story of Icarus, his hubris and ambition being his downfall. He's one of the two followers of Xornoth, who promised him endless power in exchange for his servitude. He started the series being eccentric, but not outright unhinged, but slowly gets more and more extreme as the series progresses, as he gets brought more and more to Xornoth's side.
One of the best parts of Sausage's character, in my opinion, is how his gradual corruption affects the people around him. Initially, he got into a conflict with the Cod Empire and was allied with two other people in the Witherrose alliance. They were allies, but also close friends. The fandom liked to joke that the three had sibling energy, and I'm pretty sure the ccs played to that even more lol.
It was painful to watch the other two members, Gem and fWhip, watch Sausage get corrupted right in front of them, and see them desperately clinging on to this old idea of Sausage in their head because if they faced the truth, it would mean that their friend was gone. Eventually, they do finally cut him out of the alliance, leading him to fully commit to the side of the demon. Sausage felt very clearly betrayed by this, and declared the remaining two Witherrose alliance members to be enemies.
He gets more and more possessed, and we even see the other Empires, his enemies even, slowly realize that something is very wrong with the ruler of Mythland. He starts doing more and more evil things, like killing people more, making sacrifices to the demon, and eventually helping to kill the dragon to free Xornoth. So things are good for Sausage, for a bit. He won, and is more powerful than ever. Then he finds out: he's going to die. Xornoth's possession is slowly killing his soul, and eventually, his body going to be fully taken over and he himself is going to be trapped in the spirit realm. So how do you react to this? Over the next few episodes, we watch Sausage struggle between "the demon is literally killing me" and "the demon has given me so much, and I love it", all while Xornoth takes over more and more of him. We hear him exclaim that "don't worry!! I'm still about 15% there!" while trying to downplay every time Xornoth completely takes over his body. We watch him willingly oppose anyone who is trying to end the thing that is killing him.
My favorite thing about Sausage is that he is undoubtedly evil and proud of it, but he's also undoubtedly human. If you like to watch evil characters go absolutely feral, he's the guy for you. He makes the deal with Xornoth in the beginning, knowing and fully embracing the evilness of the demon, but at the same time he knows what he's doing is detrimental to both himself and everyone around him, but he's gotten in way too deep at this point, and to be fair the demon has held up its end fo the bargain, right?
Also, I would be damned if I don't talk about cc!Sausage's editing. Every one of his videos is like a movie. The way he does camera angles and uses music is so skillful- every lore scene feels like something out of a high fantasy action saga (think: LotR). Every big lore event I always wait in anticipation for Sausage's ep because his editing truly takes lore to another level.
I'm just generally very excited to see where this series goes. Empires is such a good mix of talented builders and good lore. Part of the reason why the series is so immersive for me, beyond any other lore smp, is that they have the settings to back it up. There is a certain charm to the DreamSMP's objectively terrible builds (with a few exceptions) but in Empires, the settings help sell the plot so much.
Another part of why I love EmpiresSMP is how much the ccs are involved with the fan community. I'm sure you've seen the memes about Scott being on tumblr, and Sausage regularly goes through the EmpiresSMP fanart tag on Twitter and likes art, even ones not related to Mythland. Most of the ccs, in fact, have brought up tumblr content on stream at some point or another. Like, several ccs have said that they read tumblr lore theories and hcs and stuff and sometimes take inspiration from them. Fun fact: Rivendell's church was inspired by my pinned drawing; confirmed by Scott Smajor himself. It's just such a good cycle of ccs and fans being excited about each other.
As for DreamSMP, I'm gonna be honest here, the only person I really am invested in in Technoblade. I started watching when he joined the server, and he's the only person whose lore I keep up to date with.
Techno's fun to watch because he's like the Deadpool of DreamSMP. Virtually unkillable, very skilled and scary, but consistently cracks jokes and breaks the 4th wall during plot. His POV is just fun. Like, he does wild plans and gives speeches and some of the stuff that happens to him should be called deus ex machine if it wasn't for the fact that Technoblade is the one who's doing it, and all the stuff is grounded in the fact that cc!Techno is just that good at the game.
However, the fact that he rarely takes anything seriously makes the few times Techno is 100% serious so much more impactful. His whole character has a basis in being perceived as inhuman and being treated as such, and therefore in return trying to hide his humanity. So, when he shows that humanity, whether that's fear, anger, or genuine love for his friends, it really makes you go "oh shit."
Techno's often said not to have character development, but I'd argue that while he remains steadfast in his moral code, he develops leaps and bounds as a person. Like, at the beginning, he's brought onto the server to help Wilbur and Tommy overthrow a government; them knowing he's 1) an anarchist and 2) very very powerful. His character was more of a plot device at that point and was treated as such in the canon. Wilbur and Tommy straight-up lie to him about their plans to establish another government after they overthrow the current one, while he was led on to believe that they were abolishing all governments in the area. But he isn't a plot device. He's a person, as much as he only shows the terrifying, blood god side of himself.
After the establishment of New Lmanburg (the new government its a long story), his friend Phil joins. And for the first time, we see him be fully human with someone and we see someone treat him like a human. Like, we saw glimpses before, with Wilbur and Tommy in Pogtopia, but Phil is the first person we noticeably see he trusts 100%. Then Doomsday happens, and Techno essentially retires to the tundra. During this time, we see Techno learn to be more human, first with Ranboo, then Niki when he establishes the Syndicate. In fact, the two of them, along with Phil, canonically throw him a birthday party, which is a far cry from his treatment in Pogtopia.
Techno's development is one of a god learning to be human, and I just think he <3
Miraculous Rant
Actually, you know what, while im still mad from the previous post I made, lets go off on a rant. No punches pulled. Lets do this.
The lovesquare is the most terrible ship in this fandom. One girl is a hyper obsessed stalker who tracks her crush with her planner for 3 whole seasons, while the boy couldn’t learn to take a hint and stop flirting for 3 whole seasons until he decided to move on with another girl. Ironically that makes them perfect for eachother, but its in a creepy kind of way, not a loving kind of way.
Adrigami and Lukanette in the S3 Finale were wasted events and never should have occured because they were immediately axed in the first few episodes of the next season. I feel sorry for those that were hoping their ships could be real for at least a short actual while, and it makes me want to curse the writers for their story-boner for the status quo of teases
Despite what I said earlier, none of the girls are good for Adrien. Marinette’s stalkery and a borderline yandere, Kagami’s somewhat controlling and too similar to Adrien help him grow as a person, Chloe is a queen bee beyotch and honestly too much like a sibling to Adrien, and Lila is garbage. Fuck it, have Luka date Adrien and they can play some sweet music together (not like that you pervs, I meant they both play instruments).
Nino needs more love. Not only that, but there needs to be more Adrien/Nino bro moments. If Marinette and Alya can have moments together, why not the bros?
Chloe’s character is a mess, and is neither redeemable, nor notably evil. Her role as a villain in season 1 is very hamfisted, such as in the episodes Mr Pigeon and Kung Food. Not only that, Chloe also lacks any of the qualities that makes a good “bully villain” or rival to Marinette, and her sympathetic moments (which are Written by Sebastien) are mostly overshadowed by the fact that Astruc wants her to be a bully, so it just makes her bipolar and confusing when her character is tugged between two writers.
Chloe should not have joined Hawkmoth in Miracle Queen, see my other post as to why I think so. TLDR, its kinda ooc  for her to go full on 2d villain like Hawkmoth especially after Miraculer, plus Lila was being build up to be the main antagonist of S3
Chloe got kicked from the Team in Miraculer because people know her identity? Fine. Kagami gets to be Ryuko again despite being known to Hawkmoth in Ikari Gozen? Not cool. Ladybug shouldn’t be a hypocrite and be willing to break her own rules just because “Kagami is my friend and Chloe’s not”. Same goes for her breaking the rule with secrect identities with Alya, only for her to go on and on about the rules to Chat when he pries.
Zoe is a bland character who’s only notable trait that she likes Marinette, which automatically makes her worthy of a miraculous after two episodes and no actual development.
Astruc is a petty frick who makes episodes that give the finger to fans of the show that have a different opinion than him. Queen Banana, Miracle Queen, and Reverser are good examples of this (Reverser did Nathaniel dirty).
Master Fu is a shit guardian. Read my post for more.
FRICK THE FEAST EPISODE. Not only did is ruin Fu as character, it ruined all the good theories as to why the order fell, and wasted the idea of a new villain being introduced or even taking over as the main antagonist! Speaking of Feast, despite the sentimonster destroying an order when he wasn’t even big, he still go beat by 2 kids even when he was supersized!
Marinette is not a good Guardian. Her ability to choose heroes does not make her capable, and just because “tradition is stupid” doesnt mean that Marinette shouldn’t be tested like others before her!
Despite the Kwami’s being ancient magical buildings, they seem to act like kids a lot, and that annoys me when in S1 they are supposed to apparently be mentors to their wielders, like how Tikki was before she was mentally de-aged.
Lila is trash and should be removed from the show. The only reasons her lies work is because the writers dumb down every other character in the show and ignore the fact the people have smartphones with google.
The “Miraculous” Ladybug spell should require both Ladybug and Chat Noir to cast, because not only does the power have nothing to do with creation, but it also “destroys” anything created by the akuma, which thematically makes no sense. Also it would place more emphasis on the two heroes being equals and “two halfs of the same coin”
On that note, Ladybug has too many powers. Not only is she the only one who can purify akumas, and can cast a spell that can fix Paris time and time again like its no one’s buisness, but she also now gets a new suit and the ability to nullify Hawkmoth’s akumas. Like COME ON! Give Chat some powers too.
Mayura’s feather’s shouldnt be able to be purified by Ladybug since they have no dark energy, and (thematically speaking) Chat should be given an ability that allows him to “vanquish” the energy in Mayura[’s feathers similar to how Ladybug can purify Hawkmoth’s akumas. At least it would develop a rivalry between Chat and Mayura, and would make Chat necassary against Shadowmoth rather than being replacable with any other hero.
The are too many temporary heroes. They should have just stuck with the 3 heroes from s2 and leave it at that. Sure, new heroes were cool, but the overuse has made the whole hero thing feel less special. It made sense for the first 3 to have them, but now it’s just like Oprah where everyone gets a miraculous. Except Gabe.
Chat Blanc was a stupid reason as to why secret identities cant be revealed, also Chat could have told LB who Hawkmoth once he returned back to normal was and the show would be over.
Hawkmoth should not be Gabriel. Frick the lore about Gabriel’s wife dying and him going evil to get her back, it makes the story feel too much like a star wars/Darth vader reference and leaves Gabriel acting bipolar, flipping from wanting to save his wife and doing this out of necessity to being a power hungry madman wanting to take over the world ( which is said in his canon music video). Having Hawkmoth be his own character means he can be an actual maniac who wants world domination and not just have villanous plot that rely on obtaining magical jewellery (perhaps doing other evil things/taking a more active role), while Gabriel being his own character means he can be a father that has become estranged from his son due to the lose of his S,O, and thus can have a plot about him reuniting with his son (I liked the end seen in Simon says, ok?)
On that same note, I think Mayura shouldn’t have been Nathalie. Considering Hawkmoth’s plans were repetitive as heck for most of the show, when I heard about the Mayura leaks back in Season 2 (when she was called “le Paon”) I was theorising that Mayura would actually being Hawkmoth’s boss, the villain the was responsible for giving him his Miraculous and the one who destroyed the Order of the Miraculous, and would take over as the main villain in season 3 due to Hawkmoth’s failures. However, that turned out not to be the case.
Not only that, but Mayuras power is a copy paste power with some modifications to make it complement Hawkmoth’s power, by basically giving his akuma’s magic pokemon.
Speaking of Hawkmoth’s power, for a miraculous that is supposed to be used for good, how can his power mind control people and make them become evil? More importantly, for a miraculous that is supposedly weaker than the main heroes of the show, having it be able to multiply and posses people to create an army is kinda strong.
Fuck the Maribat ship that the salt fandom came up with. Its trash, it was made to bash most of the Miraculous cast sans Marinette, and anyone thinks it is good are either those same salters or are the same people who think that Rey-lo and the Twilight Saga are masterpieces of romance.
Whew! I needed that vent. Hope you enjoyed it as as much as I did, and Tune in next time on the next episode of:  Arlakos loses his Mind and Rants for 2 pages of writing!
the Wifilcon and the Winter Router
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x OC/Reader Summary: When Bucky learns that his neighbor has been stealing his wifi for months. Warnings: None A/N: I'm not a fanfic writer at all, this, like all my stories, are adaptations to fanfics. My original stories are not written in english, so this is also a translation. please do not repost my work
For an instant, Bucky thought that the knocking he was hearing was coming directly from his head, I mean, it wouldn't be the first time his mind played tricks on him, but he realized that the sound was actually coming, unluckily for him, from his apartment door. Oh no no no no no no no, I just got back from putting up with Sam for almost 6 full weeks, I don't need interaction with more people for now.
Bucky thought for a minute to ignore the sound, to wait for the person to give up and leave, anyway he didn't spend many days on this apartment, almost no one had seen him leave or enter the building and he had no contact with the neighbors, only with the lady on the 7th floor who once lost one of her cats, which ended up in Bucky's apartment, accidentally. Not that I found the cat in the alley and actually brought him to my apartment, it doesn't mean that I stole the cat, he was in the street by himself, I rescued him.
When the banging on the door stopped and Bucky thought he could breathe calmly again, a voice between altered and annoyed was heard all the way to the living room where he was sitting trying to overcome his third panic attack and fourth existential crisis of the day .
-"I know you're in there! I saw you coming in a few hours ago! I've been waiting for days for you to come back!"-
More out of instinct than anything else, Bucky pulled out the knife hidden in his right boot as he slowly backed away from the door. Do I really have a spy as a neighbor? Should I call Sam? Is he in danger too? Never mind now, you need an escape route Bucky, concentrate, third floor, window to the alley, 2 minutes max, the bike is parked far away, I'll have to run, but to where, rendezvous point, safe place, think....
- "for God's sake, open the door, I need you to pay for your fucking internet plan, I'm in the last season of my series and I need to know if Carolina died or not!"-
- "The internet?"- Between the andrenaline from escaping and the shock of not understanding what was happening Bucky spoke louder than an assassin, with over 60 years of experience, should have spoken. Oh, shoot.
-"Yes! Your wifi, I need it to finish watching my series"-
Whispering "wifi" to himself, Bucky tries to remember where he has heard that word before, this is what I get for never listening to Sam when he talks to me. But before he can continue his mental analysis of all the conversations with Sam about such stupid things as his favorite American Football team, the New Orleans Saints, that I remember, to how Antonio could possibly leave María on the last episode of the 6 o'clock telenovela of which Sam is a fan, his apparent "neighbor" spoke up again:
-"Jesus Christ, can you open the door? So we can resolve this like adults"-
Bucky resigned to the fact that he has given his position to the "enemy", walks to the door and opens it waiting for his death. Well at least if I die I won't have to listen to Sam again talking about Antonio and María. But on the other side of the door, there was a woman, who in her pajamas, very unthreatening but cute, was watching him as if he were a ghost but still with defiance in her eyes, in one breath she introduced herself and continued her speech about her complaint to Bucky:
-"As I was saying, I need you to pay for your internet"-
-"I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean"- mumbled Bucky.
- "Good Lord"- To Bucky's surprise his neighbor, pushes him and enters his home, well not so much a home home, more like the headquarters of his secret club, of which he is the president, vice president and only member, the point is that it is his place, where he can (and wants to be alone), as she lives here. This must be a dream, maybe I hit my head too hard in the last mission and I am unconscious in the hospital.
Crossing the room, Bucky's unwanted visitor looks around searching for something while whispering the words "I see you are quite minimalist, but maybe this is too much, someone urgently needs to look for some inspiration on Pinterest". She stops abruptly in front of the shelf where, in theory, a TV should go, while shouting: "EUREKA", she bends down and picks up a white device which has two antennas and like a million little blinking lights, damn, that looks like something out of a spaceship, I'm being watched by aliens? I'm being spied on by Kree?
-"This is your router, this is where the internet signal comes from, which I need you to pay for so I can finish watching my series"-.
Bucky, still in shock for the third time in less than 15 minutes, as he processes the idea that perhaps Thanos' unknowing twin is spying on him for a second invasion of earth and revenge for his brother's death. He can only nod to his now more relaxed and happy neighbor.
-"Perfect, thanks! I need to check the food I left in the oven, I'll talk to you later"- and as quickly as she came she left through the same door, leaving Bucky with more doubts than answers, peeking down the hallway, he realizes that she is the neighbor who lives next door, to his right. When Bucky comes out of his initial stupor, still not fully understanding what is going on, he decides to take his cell phone out of his pocket and call his own personal Google to solve his doubts about this century: Sam Wilson.
-"Hey Buck! What's up?"-how does he always manage to sound so happy? focus Buck.
-"What the hell is a router and why do I have one in my house?"- somehow Bucky manages to formulate, although maybe his voice cracked a little on the last words.
-"That thing's been there for at least two months and you didn't even notice it? Have you even paid the bill?"-
-"You put this in here? Without telling me????"- maybe Sam is also a Kree? Who can I trust now? It's all a trap?
Listening to Bucky's accelerated breathing, Sam tries to explain to him slowly, that in this century life without internet is not life, but obviously as Bucky does not even know how to set the alarm on his own cell phone, he was in charge of buying the router and creating the contract with the company so that, the 106 year old man could have his personal network at home. He had given it the name but he had not given it a password so that Bucky himself could set it up later. "I am an excellent friend, I mean co-worker, if I may say so"
-"Sorry man, after all that happened, we got called for a mission and I forgot to tell you, do you have your laptop over there? I'll help you set up a password, so your neighbors won't steal your internet anymore"- and with that comment everything started to make sense in Bucky's slightly screwed up but functional mind about the events with his seemingly non-spy and harmless neighbor.
Meanwhile Bucky was trying to remember his own password to unlock the laptop in front of him, also courtesy of Sam. "Bucky, when you learn about online banking and that you can pay your rent, electricity, phone and everything with a click of your computer, you will thank me". It should be noted that Bucky hasn't used that laptop once, like a good 100 year old grandpa he goes to the bank to make his deposits and pay his debts, which obviously consisted only of electricity, water, gas and phone because the man had no idea that there was a device in his house that spit out internet, apparently only his next door neighbor knew this. Buck tells Sam how he thought his router was an alien device and how he thought his neighbor was a KGB agent coming to kill him. "Relax Buck we all have undesirable neighbors that steal our internet signal sometimes", well undesirable is not the word I would use to describe her but ok.
When Sam finally explains to him how to connect his computer to the internet, Bucky can finally see the name that his wonderful co-worker, not friend, because he could never be friends with someone so stupid as to think that the name "THE WIFILCON AND THE WINTER ROUTER" was a good name.
- "my god Sam, you're such an asshole!"-
-"HEY! That's a great name!"- Sam responds with as much indignation as possible, he's the best at naming everything from dogs to wifis.
- "I can't believe you're Captain America, I can't believe we're even friends"- Bucky really can't understand his luck to have friends, well, co-workers whatever.
- "Well excuse me but we're co-workers..."-
- "Well, take this call as my formal resignation, bye"-
-"Wait a minute Buck..."- Bucky ended the call, to finish -his self-imposed- punishment of listening to Sam Wilson talk for over an hour. At least I asked him how to use the bank's website to pay for the internet. Suddenly, without warning and without explanation, the memory of his neighbor is lodged in his head, her hair in a ponytail, her reading glasses, pink shorts, her sweater from some university of which he can't even remember the name because he was watching out for other things... that she wouldn't kill me obviously, he was watching out that she wouldn't pull a knife out of her back and kill me right there. The message on his laptop indicating that he can now set a new name and password to his wifi distracts him enough to stop thinking about his sweet and cute non-spy neighbor and how she would look with her hair down and her glasses off.
Still with the sweet feeling in his chest and the desire to see her again he writes as the new name of the wifi, while laughing:
"If you want free internet, you owe me at least one free dinner"
After paying the internet debt and closing the laptop, Bucky gets up hoping to find something edible in the kitchen, while leaning over to look inside his fridge and analyzing how bad it would be to eat a fried egg with pasta and sriracha, he hears again a knock on the door, but this time it does not cause Bucky the anguish and anxiety that caused him the first time, but quite the opposite.
-"Open the door Winter Router! I prepared chicken pot pie for dinner"-.
Regarding the Fright Knight (Part 2)
Continuing where we left off, thankfully this part of my episode analysis for the Fright Knight’s first episode appearance is much more interesting!
Part 1: https://thesoulspulse.tumblr.com/post/666359230026186752/regarding-the-fright-knight-part-1
Tumblr media
And with that, lets begin!
Tumblr media
12) I forgot to mention in the previous post but while it’s probably just one of common animation glitches in the show I thought this was interesting that the puppet Danny possessed was still glowing after he fully exited it.
13) Fitting that this is number 13 on the list. The next part is about how Danny followed the map he made to the Fright Knight’s lair which as we know from later in the series is actually Pariah’s Keep but I’ll get to that later on. Also, sorry Danny but I think you need to update that map because that little island on the bottom right looks nothing like Walker’s Prison so those lairs must be further away from this castle. Same goes with Skulker’s lair on the top right supposedly. Anyone can tell those other islands are just parts of the same castle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not to mention, Walker’s Prison is literally just a floating building and technically I don’t think Danny had ever been to Skulker’s lair since his first visit there was while chained to Valerie in the episode “Life Lessons.”
14) Moving on to the castle itself, now that I’ve actually seen it for the first time in a while I guess it’s true that it does give off more of a Pariah Dark feel than a Fright Knight one so there’s probably a story to that we don’t know about. The Fright Knight is supposed to be THE Spirit of Halloween which is based off of the 2000 year old celtic holiday of “Samhain.” The front gate even has a scar over the same eye as Pariah when he appears later in the series.
15) Refocusing on this episode again, I get why Danny went there in ghost form since he feels safer like that with his powers, but since he learned that humans phase through things after his encounter with Walker if Danny had remembered that fact sooner he wouldn’t have gotten hurt. By the way, this is the only time we see in more detail that Danny does have ectoplasmic blood while in ghost form.
In the next frame we see his suit totally mended again but I’ll excuse that as part of his healing factor since I’m guessing his suit kinda repairs itself too otherwise it would have been torn to shreds ages ago after all the fights he’s been in.
16) Wow, this place has a lot of traps! On another note, I have this theory about the lesser ghosts of the Ghost Zone like these skeletons are like reanimated bones without minds of their own so they’re usually manipulated by more powerful ghosts such as the Fright Knight and Pariah Dark himself, aka the Ghost King. I think that’s why none of these skeletons are moving, because they’re in a dormant state until their masters re-appear. And given the designs on their shields, I’m guessing these guys are all the Fright Knight’s soldiers specifically which is why they bow to him later.
Tumblr media
17) Danny must have read where to go to find the Fright Knight because it’s interesting he didn’t go the wrong way and stumble across the throne room where Pariah’s resting place is. Just saying!
Tumblr media
Also, I was right, the skeletons reanimated as soon as Danny pulls out the sword, sensing the imminent return of the Fright Knight. I love how you can actually see their aura change color too!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bonus: I wonder why these skeletons are so huge? Because the adults in the show aren’t usually that tall. These guys have to be at least, what, 9 feet tall? Also, check out that skeleton on the far left, it actually has a shocked expression so I wonder if that one is a bit self-aware and felt almost impressed that a human had guts to break into the castle.
18) And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for! The Fright Knight cometh! Ok, but I will admit the timing off the bats was a bit off if you ask me.
Tumblr media
19) You know, everyone makes mistakes but frankly Danny was kinda asking for trouble by stealing the Fright Knight’s sword. Still, can’t complain too much because it brought one of my favorite characters into the phandom.
Tumblr media
20) Ah ok, it was hard to see but the Fright Knight flew out of one of the tower spires so Danny never went in the front gates. That explains why he never saw the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep.
21) This is purely visual but I think it’s cool the moon is shown purple here.
Tumblr media
22) I’m just gonna gush about how awesome this recovery is after Danny knocks the Fright Knight off Nightmare’s back. On a side note, that bridle only has a mouth piece so how the heck is it staying in place? I get not having a saddle since the wings need room to flap but come on...
Tumblr media
23) When Danny sticks the sword in the ground it CAUSES an ecto-storm I found that very interesting. Again I’ll get into the reason in a bit...
Tumblr media
24) Here’s my last comment before I split into another part since this is taking longer than expected.I thought it was funny how Danny just casually yeeted the real zombies animated by the swords power fueling an extra powerful ecto-storm. That big guy looks so disappointed because he really wanted to nom on those brains. Maybe next time buddy!
The first glimpse we get of Buck in the white shirt is this. Getting out of a red truck which you can see is one associated with the LAFD. So the theory of Buck just passing by on his time off is a nope. It could be him using it in a rush to get to an emergency but still. Maybe he’s working with them off the clock or just to look like he is I don’t know. You can also see the red truck very close to the fire truck (remember that). I first thought the blurred firefighter behind Buck was Eddie but I don’t think it is.
Tumblr media
The second time scene I want to go over is this. I don’t think is being talked about enough. Now we see them rushing into an apartment. At first glance you think it’s the 911 call about the mom but I don’t think so. The promo wants you to think it is but it’s not. Buck and Eddie rescue her from the balcony so I think that’s how they come through the building by the ladder. Also Bucks in civilian clothes (the white shirt again). In the mom call Bucks clearly seen in his uniform but here he’s not. So it’s 2 different calls. Maybe them even going back to the same place at a later time.
Tumblr media
In this scene I would assume is after the call is done. Buck looks relaxed (for now). He’s clearly talking to Eddie. Maybe explaining why he’s there if Eddie doesn’t know. Like someone else pointed out another fire house is there. I think there both there for the call (for some reason). People have already discussed the curb and Eddie proximity to it. Which could be the scene of Eddie approaching Buck. Even if it’s not and it’s from an earlier call. I still think Eddie is the one to get hurt. Even if the promo is trying to trick us by using footage from another scene. I think this is right before the person starts shooting. Maybe they feel as though there’s something they missed or they have no clue. Either way Buck and Eddie are talking in this scene. Buck says that kid is lucky he met you. So I think that confirms it’s much later in the episode. They learn the mom has Munchhausen by proxy. They go to the call are suspicious. Eddie asks Ana for advice and she says “something is wrong with that woman”. Maybe even Eddie calls Buck on his day off for help. This is after the boy is saved and that why Buck tells Eddie that boy was lucky he met you.
Tumblr media
Now I first want to point out how the truck Buck came in is still there. We clearly see him on the floor. Which I think it’s obvious the other firefighter pushed him out of the way. Maybe he was running to help Eddie. I want to point out more the proximity of the red truck from the fire truck. Like in the first pic it looks very close to the truck. So what if that isn’t the 133 truck but the 118 truck. The 133 is there but we don’t know when they get there. There are many possibilities. First maybe the 118 is originally there for the call leave and then the 133 is called. The second the 118 need back up so they come. The last one maybe the 118 is there Eddie gets hurt and then they come. Maybe Buck is off and he gets called something happens. Or they’re all on their break and rush over once Eddie is hurt but why would he be separate from the 118. Why would he be there first with out them. In the first pic I mentioned the fire truck behind Buck. You can clearly see one of the three people running away maybe for help. Towards that direction.
Tumblr media
Now if you look you can see there’s a space between the truck Buck drove and the fire truck. It could have moved but with everything going on I don’t think so. I think this implies there was another truck there that possible left (the 118). That would explain the big gap. There are 3 people behind it maybe trending to someone. We can clearly see the 133 on top of they truck. We just assume it’s the same one in the top picture. This scene also reminds me a lot of the one in 2x17. Which both these scenes happening in 2x17 and 4x12 doesn’t pass me. I don’t think it’s a coincidence they both happen in an episode before the finale. In season 2 it was Shannon and in season 4 it could be Eddie. If they don’t have a connection it would be odd. Like Shannon I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened mid episode. Now I don’t think this means Eddie is going to die but the parallel can’t be ignored. Maybe it can explore how dangerous his job is. How easily Eddie could hurt and Chris could loose him. To show the opposite of what happened to Shannon. Especially how it’s filmed. The over head shot of the 133 also looks darker maybe it’s later in the day. Buck is clearing laying on the floor. Three people near the back of the truck. I would assume it was after negotiations but since Buck is still on the ground I don’t think so. Either Eddie is being looked after in the truck or he’s not in the shot. I wouldn’t be surprised when f the rest of the 118 isn’t there but only Buck. Maybe Eddie calls Buck for back up. The 118 can’t get involved since they discovered the case so another house takes over so it isn’t biased during the investigation. I don’t know how that works. Lastly the man days firefighter is down. I know many people said that could be Buck which it still could be. Maybe his attempt to save him didn’t work and he was shot. If Buck was right next to him (and supposedly safe.) Why would he say he was done when he’s right next to him. It’s still possible but still.
Tumblr media
Even though it’s fun to predict my predictions are always wrong so we’ll just wait and see. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was all wrong though just FYI.
