being an only child meant that bakugou picked up a lot of random little habits and hobbies to fill up his time — especially when he felt alone. the kids at school weren’t really his friends, they only liked him for his quirk, that he was strong, talented. in truth, katsuki preferred his loneliness compared to faux company of others.
instead of playing out in the sunshine, katsuki would sit by his mother’s feet when she worked from home— piecing together and designing gowns or three piece suits or ambiguous tricks to be worn by famous pro heroes to galas and charity events— sometimes, just because they wanted something nice to wear. mitsuki was a highly sought after designer and seamstress, and katsuki picked up on a lot of her skills just from watching— observing, strategising.
“do you want to try, katsuki?” the elder bakugou had asked him one evening, her hand in his soft blonde hair as she’d passed him his own set of needles and a patch of spare fabric for him to work on. he was much too young to help her with a commissioned gown. “watch yer ma carefully, okay, my love? then you can try again on your own.”
no one would have ever guessed that katsuki bakugou was good at sewing or stitching.
over the years he would patch up his own hero costume after training or a gnarly run in with villains— katsuki was sentimental, he blew up a lot of his own shit but his hero costume was somewhat important to him. he didn’t want it to be replaced. he’d used those skills to stitch himself up when first aid was too hard to get to on covert missions— nothing but a leather belt between his pointed teeth and a needle sterilised with alcohol. mitsuki’s skills had saved his life a few times, he’d be forever grateful to the hag for all of that.
being able to use a needle and thread meant saving money on gifts— or at least that’s what katsuki called it. he’d spend ages embroidering little handkerchiefs or sewing patches onto items he knew his newer and better friends from UA would cherish. they all knew about the blonde’s secret talent, holding back their squeals as they squished him between them all whenever he mumbled.
“i didn’t make it, s’just a stupid customised gift. now get off’a me b’fore i blow your head off!”
but deep down inside, bakugou was pleased to know he could make something of sentimental value for the people he loved— even if it was small, it was thoughtful. he liked that.
“katsuki,” you warble, eyes brimming with tears when you come to bed one night— weakly holding up a scarf he’d gotten you to soothe the chill after one of your first and earlier dates. “‘m sorry!”
you and bakugou had been together for years, finding yourself falling fast and hard after he wound up in your care at the hospital— on the one time his handy little stitches had gotten a wound infected. “whas the matter with you, sweetheart?” he grunts, taking off his glasses and throwing his night time read aside. “you cryin’?”
“n-no…um, yeah? it’s kinda stupid? i wore the scarf you gave me today and i got caught on a stupid tree branch walking home and—?” you hiccup, seconds away from breaking down as you hold the piece of fabric out to your boyfriend. “there’s a hole in it? i swear i didn’t mean for it to happen— i just tried tugging it free and it ripped and—“ sniffling, a pathetic pout sits on your lips. “you got this for me ‘nd i’ve ruined it, i’m sorry kats.”
sentimental. you’re sentimental over a cheap and shitty scarf that bakugou had gotten you on a whim— so that he had an excuse to spend more time with you after your initial date had ended all those years ago. “give it here, I’ll fix it.” he grunts, hiding the flush on his cheeks before he takes the scarf from you and pokes a finger through the hole. “stop cryin’ and grab the sewing kit ma left in the study.”
nodding your head furiously, you do as you’re told with a watery smile and perch yourself on the edge of the bed next to your brooding boyfriend while he patches up your silly scarf with some old fabric and a few stitches. “i didn’t know you could sew, kats.” you breathe happily, clutching the material to your chest after inspecting the cute little embroidered heart katsuki had done all nicely for you. “it’s perfect, thank you.”
“all i did was patch it up sweetheart,” bakugou coos, leaning over your shoulder to brush a half hearted and sleepy kiss over your cheek. “ma taught me, s’how i fixed myself up all botched ‘n badly ‘n ended up in your emergency room, don’t you remember?” he loves the way you squeeze him closer, having sniffed your scarf and realised that it smells like your favourite thing. your favourite person. him.
you’re sentimental, not just with materialistic things, but with your partner. your lover, everything about him is cherished by you.
“i just thought you’d been an idiot, didn’t know you were this talented katsuki,” you say wistfully, allowing the blonde to pull you back into his arms.

Making another for the Interdimensional Mini Occult Detective au.
Tucker is very, very, very stunned by this new dimension. After he managed to settle himself down enough for him to actually start looking into this place, he realized that it is vastly different from that of his own.
There was heroes and villains, people called 'metas' that had powers that others don't, magic is just plain out in the open instead of hidden on the downlow and there's genuine aliens that both reside on and have tried to take over this planet.
This is, well out of his normal experiences, he would admit. Even with knowing Danny and being involved with ghost hunting when he was younger.
He questioned how that government branch managed to do what they did, and if they were a genuine government branch at all and didn't just, you know, mess with his own governments heads to make them one.
Safe to say, there is a lot he doesn't know about, and not knowing is something he doesn't like. Because facing an entire magical branch on his lonesome, knowledge and technology was the only way he could even the playing field somewhat between them.
But now, not only was his knowledge put into question, but his only other weapon has been reduced to-which certainly useful- a single arm bracer. Which is painfully lacking when compared to his usual arsenal that he equipped himself with.
Okay, this, this is fine.
Everything was fine.
He just had to gather information like he did before, but he doesn't have access to his various spybots, but it's fine he could just remake them.
But he doesn't have the materials to do so.
...
He regrets a lot of things.
Facing the magical branch alone wasn't one of them, but various mistakes surrounding them did he regret. People he failed to save, experiments he was too late to stop, magical artifacts he failed to get before them, failing to know regarding them and putting others in danger because of not knowing.
His biggest regret, as of right now, is that he couldn't have even left behind a note for his best friends. Or at least a video recording, he didn't even get to say goodbye.
Would he even get to see them again...?

Alright, that's enough of that. He's the Tucker Foley, one of the best detectives regarding the occult and the regular enemy to and a threat to the magical branch. He doesn't have time to just sit around and think depressing thoughts.
Who cares if he's been stranded in another dimension? He can just force his way back to his own! Who cares if he's a child? He's done a lot of things as a kid, and he sure as hell wasn't stopping now just because he's goddamn 10-years-old.
He made himself their enemy, and he'll keep being their enemy until he sees them extinguished.
Now that that's out of the way.
He hacked into a nearby source for wifi, and took to the wide web. First order of business, information gathering.
He needs to know and by the Ancient's sake he will.

Asking some writers/artists I follow:
Is there anything in your fic/comic that you as the author know about, but won't end up in the actual story?
So I have a rather uh disorganized way of telling the story of the TSAU, I jump back and forth in the timeline quite a bit depending on what part of the story I wanna tell. Overall I improvise quite a bit, and because of that I can't be 100% sure what will be depicted in the story and what wont. But I might as well share some little tidbits of lore that are probably not gonna be mentioned in the main story (though they still might who knows lol)
So uh. April and Kendra are exes. Kinda. They were pretty close friends when they were younger and decided to become a couple when they were like 9 or something. This lasted for a grand total of.... 2 days, maybe? Then they had a huge fight about something silly like, I dunno, Kendra hacked April's tamagotchi as a prank and she got mad so they broke up and they've had major beef ever since.
Draxum made Mikey wear some type of artifact or gear that supressed his mystic powers as a kid for his own safety. Mikey started showing an incredible talent for the mystic arts at a very young age. Draxum was excited about this for all of 5 seconds before realizing that Mikey is a VERY small child with NO impulse control and he's definetily gonna turn himself and the rest of the family into glitter unless Draxum finds a way prevent that from happening until Mikey has the chance to develop an understanding of consequences. (He's learned to control his powers well enough to not need them by the time of the main-story, so he no longer wears the supressors)
Donnie's whole villain-act he puts on is partially a coping mechanism. He grew up never knowing anyone like himself (unless you count Splinter, I suppose) so the only times he saw himself represented in anything was characters in comics and shows and such. There were plenty of anthropomorphic reptile characters in the media he consumed, and Donnie clunged to anyone or anything that he could at least somewhat relate to. Problem is, a lot of these anthro reptiles were like.... y'know... villains. It's pretty common for super heroes and stuff to fight evil mutant reptile creatures, and even stories with only anthro characters reptiles tend to be charactarized as more villainous. Granted, turtles specifically usually don't get this treatment, but it still had quite an effect on Donnie as a little kid that most characters similar to him would be viewed as evil, which caused him to internalize that mindset. So turtle tot Donnie basically went like "Yes! This is what I am! A villain in someone else's story! It all makes sense now! This is a healthy mindset to have!" and just kinda embraced the role that human society had given to him because he didn't really know how else to deal. (Things changed after meeting April and he found out that there might actually be humans out there who might treat him like a person and not just a freak of nature! He still plays into the villain-persona, partially for fun and partially as a coping thing, but he doesn't have nearly as a negative view of himself now as he did as a tot)
And last, but certainly not least................ Draxum owns a Lou Jitsu body pillow (PURELY for research-purposes, NO other reason!)

I love imagining that Kirishima would be even more excited to be a dad than to be a Pro Hero. But I also think he'd try to keep those parts of his life separated, to keep his kid(s) safe. You just KNOW the first time his child(ren) get caught up in some danger he'd go feral on some Villains.
A/n: I loved this idea and went a little overboard lol. I kinda want to write a drabble but I'm not too sure, but for now here are some headcannons!
Kirishima as a Dad Headcannons

Oh my goodness yes.
When you told him that you were pregnant he cried- happy tears of course. Manly happy tears.
He was so excited, and was instantly asking for paternal leave
Which was denied- but anyway
He loves to take care of you.
Foot massages, belly rubs, kisses wherever whenever, cuddles, weird cravings, manual labor, anything, you name it and it's yours.
Honestly you got a little spoiled lol
Though he's so excited for his gorgeous baby that will have the perfect mix of genes, he tires to drown out his thoughts of you and the angel you're growing in your womb.
He has work to do, and if he doesn't do his work you and baby will have a higher risk of harm befalling you.
He slowly masters the art of not thinking about his reason for existence, and solely focusing on work.
He already hides you pretty well from his fans, simply telling them that he was in a very happy, and very serious long term relationship.
The majority of his fans were super understanding about it all and were just glad he was happy, but the fake ones would still hit on him, try and guilt him into sharing more details, or even try stalking him to get a glimpse of Mrs. Perfect.
He didn't tell the public that you were expecting until he left on Paternity leave, and he didn't share anymore details outside of that.
The real and fake fans were clear to see by their reactions.
Once baby is born he's literally already so in love.
If you had a problematic delivery he'd be more worried about you, of course; but as soon as he knows you're okay he is immediately putting eighty percent of his attention on baby boy, and keeping the other twenty on you.
Crying manly tears as he watches you hold him, standing next to you as you feed him for the first time.
Once you two have had enough skin to skin time and you decide to rest, he takes your beautiful baby boy in awe before kissing your forehead lovingly.
"Thank you so much Pebble. He is just as perfect as you."
After making sure you're situated he sits on the chair closest to your bed, and simply watches sweet baby boy.
When he falls asleep he holds him to his bare chest, talking to him softly.
He doesn't dare rest until you're awake. He's read too many horror stories of the horrors of villains harming a pro hero's baby, or even having the baby purposely or accidentally swapped with another.
Once you do wake up, he's quick to reward you with a sweet kiss and your baby boy in your arms.
For the next while in the hospital you two take turns with baby boy, you mostly holding him while you're awake, and Kiri holding him while you rest.
Even though you tried to convince him to get some sleep, he wouldn't listen. He literally could not rest until the two of you were safely tucked into your home. There were too many dangers for you and baby, and he refused to make you wait on him.
Once he gets back to going to work he is absolutely miserable. He hates being away from his babies, and the worry kills him every time.
Luckily, nothing happened to you or baby, well at least for a few years.
Baby boy was seven, and you both had a daughter who just turned four.
Kiri was at work, and you were making dinner.
Your son had asked you if he could take his sister outside to play in the backyard; not seeing anything wrong with it, you agreed.
You even had a window above the sink looking over where they were playing, it was supposed to be safe.
A new organization of villains targeted your family due to Kiri stopping a robbery that would help them immensely.
Using their leader's quirk, they were able to find out a bunch of information about you and your precious babies.
All he needed was two men.
One to take you, and one to grab your kids.
Though you put up quite the fight, you stopped as they started to target your stomach.
There was something they didn't know; that you would make sure to keep hidden.
They ended up with you and your kids handcuffed in a dark room.
You were absolutely terrified of what was going to happen to your babies, but you put on a brave face, comforting your children with a smile.
They would cry and shuffle as close to you as possible, asking you where daddy was and asking if he wasn't coming for them.
"No no, darling. Your daddy is coming, he'll save us very soon!"
And that he did.
Like always, he came home to eat dinner with his gorgeous family.
Walking in, he let out a loud:
"Daddy's home! Kisses and hugs are in order~!"
He expected to hear giggles and the pattering of small footsteps sprinting towards him, a far more familiar set following close behind.
But, to his disappointment; the house was silent.
Walking toward he kitchen, he frowns at the mess by the island. Spilled food and cooking utensils scattered the floor.
"Y/n baby? What happened in the kitchen?!"
Walking outside, he panicked at the sight of a fallen off shoe and jacket.
Those were both signs of struggling..
Sprinting inside, Kiri yelled for you to come out as he scoured the mansion for another sight of his gorgeous family.
The lights were on- if you left you would have turn them off.
Calling your phone, his heart dropped at the sight of it's cracked screen lying on the floor of the kitchen, his contact name "Hubby 🥰😏" lighting up the screen.
Taking a second to collect his thoughts, rage filled his being as he studied the picture of him being hugged and kissed by his babies, huge smiles planted on their faces.
Hanging up the call, he quickly went to Bakugo's contact, calling the tsundere uncle.
"Ha? What do you need n-"
"They're gone."
"What?"
"Somebody decided to try and take my world from me. They're gone- and we need to find them."
The seriousness in Kiri's tone made the man shiver. Somebody was dead- so dead.
"I'll call the idiots. You get Rikona on the line."
Rikona was a fellow hero in the Bakusquad agency. Her quirk was related to her immense intelligence, and she was the one to call if you needed to get any kind of information quickly. She could easily find Kiri's family in mere minutes.
After calling her, Kiri followed her instructions, which eventually got him to a run down ware house.
After thanking the hero and sending his location in the Bakusquad groupchat, Kiri put his phone on silent and made his way inside.
He silently took down every villain he came across.
After a short while he found his way to a large room, where several men were.
Studying the scene closely, Kiri could only see red as he spotted you tied to a chair, cheek visibly reddened.
Your kids were on chairs near you, tears streaming down their cheeks as they watched the men hovering around them.
Moving to contact the Bakusquad, Kiri snapped at the sound of a slap.
Jerking his head towards the sound, uncontrollable anger pulsed through Eijiro as he lunged towards the villains, knocking down every single one that dared try and stop him.
Getting to the scum that dared touch you, Kiri hardened his arm before elbowing the villain in the face.
Hard.
Now that the path was cleared, Kiri wasted no time untying you and your angels, hugging the three of you comfortingly.
"Shhh it's okay. I've got you now, I've got you."
He stayed right next to you, glaring at any villain who dared take a step closer.
He was cornered. And there was no way he was going to leave your side- it would be too easy for someone to take you away again.
As a villain approached, Kiri hardened his arm a little more, sending out a warning.
Anyone stupid enough to get close enough to reach any of you received a harder-than-rock elbow to the face.
Just as five villains approached, Bakugo and the Bakusquad burst in, immediately setting to work to help.
Bakugo and Mina immediately started attacking the villains, while Denki and Jiro started tying up the knocked down villains.
Using his tape, Sero brought you and your kids to him and out of harm's way, much to Kiri's relief.
Now free to go all out, Kiri absolutely annihilated any for he could reach, not holding anything back, he pounded the villains into the ground, only stopping to attack the next one.
After all of the villains were defeated Kiri moved to the leader- the one that hurt his Pebble.
Bashing his elbow into the dude's face, Bakugo literally had to pry him off of the passed out villain to stop him from beating him to death.
After snapping out of it Kiri instantly hurried to the separate room Sero took you and his angels to.
Throwing open the door, he hugged the living daylight out of all three of you, apologizing and cooing words of comfort and reassurance.
After taking you three home Kiri spoiled the kids, playing any game they wanted.
And after reading them to sleep, he turned to you. Engulfing you in an embrace as you finally let yourself cry.
Kiri took the next three weeks off, finding ways to keep you all safer.
The first thing, would have to be a guard dog. A giant, beautiful German Shepherd.. yeah that sounded nice.

Am I the only one that finds it weird that the shoto - dabi fight is the one that has the least child visuals between them toga-uraraka and deku-shigaraki.
I think it weird bc unlike the other two dabi and shoto have a lot of similarities between their childhoods and their anger towards their father so child visuals would have been imapctfull bc it isn't just about saving the other but it's about the fact that shoto understand dabi.
We only got one visual of them as kids but it didn't hit hard bc that wasn't how they were feeling (at least on the outside) at that point the fight was between dabi the villain and shoto the hero
Neither was looking at the other in a sentimental way (at that point)
I disagree that it didn't hit. It's true that it wasn't sentimental, but Touya is different from Toga and Tenko. His child "origin self" is a grumpy 13-year old.
I think in the fight between Dabi and Shoto, the question was whether there was even a "Toya" anymore to dig out or did that boy die on Sekoto peak. Dabi says that Toya "died" when he went home and found no change - which means that this boy who kept believing that his family would look at him if he kept trying lost hope at that point and was living for revenge.
Shoto showing up, making a move for him, forcing him to look his way achieved in the end that we finally saw Toya's inner self come through, we saw that he's still very much just a crying boy desperate to be still seen.
I think that the child selves we see here manifest actually what they are doing in the real world perfectly. Toya is still desperate to prove himself. Shoto is a child fighting for his family. The image is tragic and in the next chapter you see the devastation on Shoto's face - how hard this was for him. And I think it is left on this note because next we go to Endeavor, the man who didn't show up for Toya and who is not there while his sons are engaged in a death battle. So I think this is the mood that this image aims at, and it's not cute or sentimental, but I think it hits really hard. At least for me, it does.
And yeah, maybe it would be easier if we saw them do some kind of cute play-fight or whatever, but because saving Toya is the job of the entire family, we don't get this image until they all show up for him (primarily his father who wronged him). And because Toya is the "family villain", not only Shoto's villain, this child-image gets spread around. Toya sees his child self surrounded by his family and then he also sees Shoto as a child.
I think that means something, and I hope Hori will follow this up later - and it will lead to more connection between Shoto and Toya.
It's harder for them than any of the other "pairs", because while Toga and Tomura sought out Ochako and Izuku and they both just someone / anyone to show up and accept them, that's not what Touya needs.
His inner child is older, and not only he never wanted Shouto, he represents to Touya "Endeavor's masterpiece", the replacement, the reason he was thrown away. Shouto is probably the last person Touya wants. It's not as simple as them bonding over hating their dad. Shouto does validate Touya's anger (but not his methods) and he's trying to find common points between them. But bonding over rage would be counterintuitive to what the narrative tells us about negative emotions. Shouto has been ruled for long by his rage too and took him a lot of work to change. I think that Touya needed to be confronted with Shouto's change - and feel that literally on himself when he copied Phosphor. Phosphor is Shouto's self-expression, his healing, his heart - and Touya being able to copy that I think means that there is still hope for him.
So considering how Shouto had nothing Touya wanted, the fact that he was able to dig out Touya's child self from under Dabi's rage and then make him see Shoto not as a puppet, but as a real crying child / brother as well is hard-earned connection between them.
Not as cute maybe as the others, but to me it really means the world. I think just because the no-jutsu is not easy in their case doesn't mean that what happened is less important.
I still have hope that Shouto will get his narrative reward too in a more direct depiction of connection. If Hori thought Toya was irredeemable, and was planning to make him die full of hate, I don't think he would have drawn Touya as a child at all.

Idk what to tell to the people who still don't get that although is okay to teach kids the rules to live in a society (like respect others or don't kill or whatever), Kotaro Shimura, Enji Todoroki and Toga's parents didn't care as much for society rules as they care for the rules that made them feel okay at home.
Which in the end caused the main villain trio to reject authority and society and turn into violence, since they did try to use words as kids and were royally ignored.
Tenko, Touya and Toga tried very hard to be good kids, but in their parents conception it was not enough 'cause they couldn't repress some of their needs: they wanted their dads and moms to accept them as they were, to accept who they wanted to be, to accept the way they expressed love and accept the way they interacted with their surroundings.
In Tenko's case, Kotaro was unable to accept his kid desire to become a hero. His could be the worst case in bnha, given the violence of his tragedy and how misfortune (maybe even something else) played on it ending so badly. Tomura himself said that house rejected his very identity, even tho Hana tried to support him in secret and Nao stood up for him, little too late. For what we saw of him as a child, his only defect as a son was wanting to be a pro-hero, dream that got him beaten up for, grounded in a rather cruelly manner. Kotaro's trauma turned him into an irrational man, his hatred for heroes was both the build up and the catalysis of the tragedy that ended the lives of the people he loved the most.
Tenko didn't become a villain because he was an evil kid. He became a villain because AFO wanting it so and because Kotaro inculcated in him such extreme hatred.
In Touya's case, it's a bit more complicated. I don't believe Enji's obsession was completely evil in nature, although his actions were truly selfish and it became later abusive, when his desperation blinded him to the point he was unable to understand how bad he has turned out to be. Like in Tenko's case, the mother is at fault only in yhe sense that their lack of intervention allowed the situation to escalate 'til they couldn't prevent it anymore. Touya's case differentiates itself in the fact that he was older than Tenko, his behavior declining over the years into extreme violence, unlike the way Tenko exploded in murder glee when Kotaro hit him one last time.
The lack of proper attention from both Enji and Rei allowed Touya's behavior to become a tragedy. Their negligence, Enji's focus on his work and Shouto (as a project not a son) and Rei's role of a caretaker yet not a mother, combined with the incapacity of Natsuo and Fuyumi to understand what Touya was going through (really, only Shouto could, but at that point Touya hated him too much and Shouto was way too young)... Well, it didn't end well for a kid that didn't want help anymore but attention on his own terms. He was tired of adapting, the same way Tenko rebelled in his insistence of acting the hero way.
The same house rule ( YOU CANNOT BE A HERO ) sent them both to AFO's hands, one way or another. They were kids who couldn't act the way their dads wanted, so fuck them I guess.
That part is compatible to Toga's case. Kinda.
Toga's parents are by far the most twisted of the bunch, which is a lot to say considering that Kotaro hit his kids and Enji even hit his wife. Yet, without having to touch a single hair of their little girl, they inflicted damage so deep she preferred to become a runaway criminal than to stay at home one more day.
At least Kotaro and Enji valued at some level Tenko and Touya's existence. Toga's parents didn't care about her at all. She was as good as a broken doll, an imperfect piece of their furniture, something they wish wasn't related to them at all. Enji was at least worry about his son and he loved him at some degree, the same way Kotaro worry over Tenko was born out of his fear of losing his family. Nothing of it excuses what they do and let it be said that Enji and Kotaro did saw Touya and Tenko as monsters at some point (when Touya tried to kill Shouto and on his Dabi era, when Tenko killed his family and turned to Kotaro). Yet it doesn't compare to the way Toga's parents immediately erased her from their lives, even denying any affiliation. They sent her to that therapy like a car needing to be repaired. She was a sign of status, she was an object that they failed to produce, she was an aberration and a freak, she deserved to be put down.
From the three od them, Toga was the one who struggled the most to fit in socially, not to society standards tho. To her parents.
If all these parents had cared for their kids more than they cared for his own stupid rules maybe things would have been different. But that's the core of their problems, they don't need the whole world to accept them, they need to treat the internalized traumas their parents left them with, the self-hatred and the feeling of inadequacy and the need for acceptance (of themselves) and recognition.
That's why Toga, Izuku and Shouto are the key for their recovery. Acting as mirrors, they are meant to provide the closure the villain trio desperately need. It's not just a sibling or a nemesis bond, but a recognition of the self through the other situation.
If they can accept themselves and correct their ways and get free from their parents absurd rules, if they can move past the child need for their parents validation, maybe they can finally exist in a less painful way.

An AU where All for One accidentally sends his son Izuku and his ward to Tomura to the wrong summer camps. Izuku gets sent to a training camp for young villains. Tomura gets sent to an All Might fans summer camp with All Might himself as a guest lecturer. Please work your cracky magic!
AFO had it all under control. At least that's what he told himself. In actuality being potatoed had really frazzled his mind, so when Inko and Kurogiri asked for coordinates at the same time, he quickly looked up both and sent them, never even noticing he sent them the wrong coordinates.
Inko was confused that the camp was so remote, but she trusted her husband. So she told Izuku she loved him and sent him off. When Izuku arrived it didn't take him long to figure out he was at the wrong camp, what with nobody knowing anything about AM and several camp counselors being wanted criminals, but it wasn't like he could openly say anything now could he? Luckily, everyone treats him with respect as AFO's protoge so he plays along so he won't get killed.
Tomura wonders if he did something wrong for Sensei to send him to what seems the 10th circle of Hell. Or could this be the villain camp? Yes, a villain camp disguised as an All Might camp! That makes perfect sense! Unfortunately his attempts to flaunt his authority soon get him sent to the time-out corner, and he's forced to wear gloves to control his quirk. He'd fight back, but that Todoroki girl is terrifying.
Izuku is soon practically running the camp. Not only is he the smartest kid there and giving everyone in depth quirk analysis in exchange for swearing their loyalty to him (so he can keep them from using his advice for evil and maybe get them to buy merch for him), but he's also learning a lot that would be useful for hero work from the counselors! Also people genuinely like him, which is an absolute dream for him! The only one that doesn't is that janitor Dabi who insists Izuku's a spy. Everyone ignores him for being a conspiracy theorist who failed to kill a mouse once.
Tomura is having less success. His prior quirk usage has caused them to watch extra close that he doesn't "accidentally" lose his gloves, meaning that when an All Might handshake event happens he actually has to shake that filthy beast's hand! Without killing him! Also All Might talks about things like not leaving everything for him and helping yourself, which Tomura hates for actually being ok advice! Even worse, All Might at one point asks Tomura on video game metaphors to use! Tomura helps of course, but only to show off how much he knows. He's such a problem child that eventually the camp's guidance counselor takes interest in him: Gran Torino.
To everyone's shock, Gran's "character building" sessions actually work! Partly because he plays video games with Tomura afterward (he's quite good) but also because Tomura respects violence. Soon he's decided violence without being arrested seems like a neat idea after all! Especially since he can adopt a corgi that way! When Tomura learns that Gran new his grandma, he comes clean to help him stop AFO so he can get that corgi because it's the right thing to do.
Izuku finally brings Dabi to his side by letting him run the camp's theater club. Dabi loves melodramatic acting so much he forgets about his father. Well mostly, he still loves bashing Endeavor in his plays. Izuku then has his legion overthrow the counselors and become Heroes! Except Dabi, he's becoming a theater actor/vigilante.
Izuku's calling the authorities when AM arrives at the villain camp. Izuku: I need the Heroes to come and arrest some major villains! We're at-
AM: I AM HERE!
Izuku: Wow that was fast!
Dispatcher: ???
AM notices no one's attacking him and that several villains are tied up. He demands to know who's in charge. They almost pull a Spartacus, but when Izuku steps forward, they all point at him.
Izuku marches toward All Might, flipping through his book like he's looking for the perfect page to handle him with. All Might tenses up. Finally Izuku stops in front of them and holds his book out.
Izuku: Can I have your autograph?
AM: ???
The villains are arrested, the villain kids (and Tomura) pardoned for their help, Tomura gets his corgi, Izuku gets AM for a new dad and eventually OFA, and AFO flees the country to escape Inko the heroes. He will later be found with a concussion caused by someone beating him with a frying pan. The culprit is still a unknown.

Could you maybe do one where Izuku x reader where he forgets his kids birthday and then give maybe a happy or sad ending. Like if sad then maybe like reader and his kid go to his office and see him drinking and talking with his friends and then the kid, 5 years old or smth, runs out and the reader is like so dissapointed in him and then Izuku realises what he's done.

Summary: In which your daughter gets sad by her father's absence on her birthday.
You were happy in your relationship with Izuku.
Everything was not alright, considering your husband's constant absence, but you guys managed.
What you didn't like however, is how he always used the excuse of having to fight a villain or something which would ruin important dates the two of you had.
the first date you two had when meeting up for a blind date, five minutes late.
First anniversary, ten minutes late, okay.
First meeting with the doctor for possible pregnancy, fifteen minutes.
Birthing the child? Had to fight a villain, sorry!
You kind of hoped that Izuku would at least try to not be late for your daughter's birthday, as it arrived in a month, and you even told him multiple times so that he wouldn't forget.
But, it seemed like all your efforts of warning him and discussing things with him went out the roof when he didn't pick up the phone to play hero with your daughter and her friends on her special day.
your offspring was looking at you with a sad frown and you swore you'd kill Izuku for not being there for your daughter.
After the party was over; speak, her falling asleep in her little room and you waiting for Izuku to arrive, you cleaned everything up.
And then, only then when you put away the last piece of popped balloon did the front door open.
A drunken Izuku stumbled into the corridor, laughing giddily and you'd have beaten the living shit out of him if he only were sober.
When he caught sight of your pretty face, he cooed at you. "Awwww, my sweet wife is thereeee! How are youuuuuuuu?", he sang, trying to get out of his shoes.
Meanwhile, you were only frowning at him. When he didn't get an answer form you, he lifted his head from his shoelaces and saw your angry face. "Wha's wron'?", he slurred and you felt your face growing hotter by the minute.
"What's wrong? You went out to fucking drink on your daughter's birthday, Izuku!", you whisper-yelled, not wanting her to find out about the argument you two would have. You stopped drinking the moment you received the news of your daughter in your belly and didn't consume a droplet ever since. You hoped Izuku would stop too. Right now, Izuku was frowning at you. "Her...her birthday...was...t-today?", and he seemed to wake up from the drowsiness, suddenly completely sober -if that's even possible- and wanted to go to her room but stopped when he saw her tiny figure by the doorframe.
"...you forgot about my birthday?", she asked, her eyes filling with big tears and she frowned angryly. "I-I'm sorry sweetie, I didn't mean to!"
She just cried and you took her in your arms before frowning at your husband. "Go take a shower and then we'll talk-" "I don' wanna talk do daddy! Daddy's stupid! He forgot mah birthday!", your child yelled at him and buried her head in the crook of your neck and nearly suffocating you with her arms around your neck. You understood your daughter's pain, having lived through that as well with your own father who always mixed up your age and your birthday, heck, he even thought you were still in middle school when you were in high-school. You couldn't believe that Izuku would have actually forgotten about it though, I mean, she's his daughter, no?
Izuku felt like crying too and went into the bathroom. After a few minutes, Izuku stepped out and held something behind him, calling your daughter's name to grab her attention. She reluctangly pouted at him, still holding onto you who was stroking her back while she sniffed. He showed her a dynamite action plushie and she sqealed in delight upon getting such a gift, it was limited edition after all. She hopped off your lap and you chuckled, your own anger melting away by the lovely father-daughter interaction and recording Izuku's cries for pleading for feorgiveness from your child who was giggling in delight. You wished there were more moments like these.
While your child was playing with the toy which resembled one of your close friends and Izuku's childhood rival, Izuku himself felt like his soul was flying out of his mouth. "I'm glad she's not mad...but why Kacchan?" You huffed in amusement before nudging him. "At least you didn't forget about buying her a gift beforehand. Also...why don't you take some time off? You're barely spending time with us these past days."
What you said was true, and even though you were still mad at him for not being there on her birthday, you couldn't help but feel bad for being mad at him. Izuku had so much on his shoulders and you wanted to take that weight from him.
Izuku groaned while nodding, feeling sleepy all of a sudden. That's when your daughter chimed her sauce into the conversation as well. "I wanna be an older sister, daddy! I want a younger sibling for my next birthday!"
Safe to say that Izuku fulfilled that wish the moment your daughter fell sound asleep and you got your world rocked yet again.

The bad end wukong gives me serious TMNT shredder vibes with reader as tang shen and macaque as splinter (ironically lol)
It'd be especially interesting if reader ended up having a kid with the supposed "evil" macaque over the well-meaning sun wukong.
that's...a surprisingly good parallel. and i do like the idea of sun wukong looking like the good guy but actually being a villain and macaque being an actual hero while having a bad rep
(however, ive been thinking that perhaps macaque isn't actually the "good guy," if yknow what i mean. like...maybe wukong wasn't the only one concerned about reader's mortality.)
but on a lighter note, 500 years is a loooong time, and macaque and reader would probably have at least gotten married. perhaps they have their first kid around the time that wukong is freed by the monk 👀
it'd make that reunion even more tense. i don't think even the monk could stop the monkey king from trying to kill macaque right then and there. it's one thing to look after her while he's gone, keep her safe...but to betray him like this? his most trusted friend, his most powerful ally, stealing his queen away the moment he's gone? having a child with her when even he hadn't gotten the chance?
"He'll know no mercy once I'm truly free. The moment this cursed restraint is removed, I'll make that eye look like child's play!"
reader is of course, immediately on the defense of her baby. she'll throw herself in front of a direct onslaught if she has to, she doesn't care. of course, if reader were to plead with him, then...perhaps wukong could find it in his heart to be merciful. after all, the child is as much reader's as it is the traitors, and his own children will need a companion. it's not uncommon for royalty to have illegitimate children grow up alongside the legitimate ones.

Summary - "The villain will always be the villain if the hero tells the story" or atleast that's what they say. No one knew why you became what you are. But you wanted your revenge on Isabella Marie Swan and you were ready to do anything to have it.

"Soooo, is this what villains usually do all day ?" Redacted Renesmee asked, putting a red yellow on the piles of cards.
"Well, I don't think so. But your parents are taking too long to get you and you were being annoyingly talkative so I had to shut you up somehow." You replied, putting a plus four on the piles with a smirk and she glared.
"You're so cheating ! How come you only have good cards while I have almost half of the pack !" The hybrid weird kid exclaimed and you rolled your eyes.
"Life isn't fair child, I don't see why I should use some fair-play when no one was ever fair to me. Plus I love to see your face fall each time you take four cards." You calmly explained and she scoffed before throwing her cards on the ground.
"That's just rude and mean ! Why are you so mean to my family and I by the way ?! It's unfair. We did nothing to you !" Rikki Takki Tavi Renesmee pointed out and you glared at her with a scoff.
"Your mother specifically did nothing when we were younger ! She would never do anything ! Watch from the side or just ignore the truth ! I'm making her suffer like she made me suffer !" Your answer was cold and the kid frowned in confusion.
"My mom wouldn't just make you suffer for nothing !" The golden brunette defended and you rolled your eyes, feeling the fire slowly taking over your palms.
"Spoiled brat like you could never understand." You walked away and locked Renesmee's door behind you.
You could feel the flames wanting to burst out of your fingers as you reached the mail room of your lair and you immediately punched the wall in one swift yet hard motion causing the wall, as well as your cold stone skin, to crack.
You could feel the unshed tears in your eyes of anger as you remembered your childhood. It was horrible. Kids like Roseate could never understand the struggle of being in foster care. Kids like Renesmee were spoiled to the core and they thought that they were better than the rest because they were. They had the power, the looks, the love anyone envied. You never had it. Jumping from house to house but always ending up in the same mess every single time. You were lonely but then you got fostered by the Swans, then adopted by them under Isaella's request and then, she stabbed you in the back and never looked back at you.
You could feel your lips trembling as a few sobs escaped and you fell on the floor, broken, with a cracked hand and a cracked heart, not being able to let out those pained cries nor tears as you closed your eyes.
You were once again suffering.
And only by yourself.
They only had three more days. Most of the Cullens feared that something happened to their little treasure in the past week but Jacob's imprint link was still there. As long as it was there, Renesmee was still alive. And as long as she was alive, they had a chance to save her.
"Do we at least have any clues ?" Leah asked.
"We know that the scent of the stranger is their way of hiding. They smell like lavender and wet grass which makes them blend into nature and hide themselves but, we've got you three. As much as it pains me to admit it… your sense of smell is better than ours so we'll need you." Jasper started and everyone nodded, they were all around the table of the meeting of the Cullen's house.
"When we went out with Seth two days ago, he could pick up their scent going south but we don't know more as we couldn't track it after the river. But we have a lead." Alice explained and once again everyone nodded.
"But what if this was a fake trail, what if they have Renesmee captive but more toward the Canadian border ?" Rosalie asked and everyone took in her words.
"This… could be an eventuality but for now we will check the south. A small group will go up toward the Canadian border to take a look and we will alarm the others if we notice anything." Jasper finished.
Being an ex-soldier of the army was actually pretty cool, and very hot but that was Alice's point of view (and mine), in this type of situation. Everyone could be organized in a military way and knowing that their enemy was a child was just better. Why ? Because as a child you don't think like an ex-military soldier. So they had the upper hand.
They could take their enemy by surprise and for all they know, their enemy was alone while they were twelve. Whoever was targeting them stood no chance.
Or at least they thought so until Alice's eyes turned glossy.
Once again there were flames everywhere. But this time they were still fighting, or at least they were trying to.
In the middle of a battle field stood a little girl, fire bursting from her palm as she aimed toward Emmett who quickly moved out of the way.
Thought there was someone who didn't move behind the big vampire.
It was Rosalie.
And the blond Goddess fell on the ground, screams escaping her lips the fire took over her cold marble skin.
And Emmett turned back around, his expression fell as he saw his wife slowly dying and in his moment of weakness, the little girl shooted him too.
But then the vision changed.
Jasper and Carlisle were the one burning on the ground.
But it changed again.
Esme and Edward.
Seth and Alice.
Jacob and Bella.
Leah and Seth.
Jasper and Emmett.
"Every single duo sent to the north is going to die either way…" Alice trailed off her eyes still looking elsewhere and Jasper clenched his jaw.
"You don't see any alternative ending ?" He asked softly to his wife who shook her head.
"Then we're abandoning the idea." Jasper solemnly announced and Bella frowned.
"But we will need to go to the north eventually. Renesmee could be there !" The shield expressed and everyone turned their attention toward Jasper.
"We can not. Two lives for one isn't―"
"But we're not just talking about one random life Jasper. We're talking about my daughter !" Edward replied stubbornly and Jasper scoffed.
"And I'm not talking about two random lives either Edward. I'm talking about two lives of our family. And Renesmee is not dead yet. We can not risk two lives to save someone who doesn't need saving at the moment." The ex-soldier pointed out and Edward growled.
"Edward, you saw it just like I did. You couldn't possibly think about killing two of us in vain. You already know that the plan couldn't work. Why would you want to send two of us there ?" Alice harshly pointed out and her brother looked toward his tortured wife on the side causing Rosalie to scoff.
"We should have known. You were always like that anyways. Putting everyone's life in danger for a human and now because she's your wife you're ready to sacrifice two of us just for her." The blond beauty expressed with a hint of venom.
See Rosalie Lillian Hale was the perfect example of an anti-hero. The one who does good only if it serves their interest. At least that's what she was in Bella Swan's story. No one clearly tried to understand her point of view. See Emmett tried, but most of the time he simply sticks to his wife. Rosalie Lillian Hale was only on Bella's side when it benefited her. But on the other side, she was probably the most attached to the family after Esme, holding on to the last thing that made her feel human.
But we will not talk about that. Rosalie Lillian Hale was only the anti-hero of Isabella Marie Swan's story.
"Rosalie please…" Esme tried to sooth her first daughter as much as possible until a paper plane passed through the opened window of the living room and posed itself on Rosalie's lap.
"What is that ?" Emmett asked and Rosalie opened the paper, her frown turning into an horrified expression.
"There's not only two of us that will go north." The blond vampire announced putting the paper on the table for everyone to see the words written on the unfolded half burned paper plane.
'All the way to the north you go. Or all the way to south she falls'

I’m thinking you, reader, were a grown up and a hero at that
That is until you were hit by a villains quirk and were kidnapped and taken to the LOV before the heroes could save you
Having no memories and being helpless Shigaraki thought this was the perfect opportunity to take you down.
But, unfortunately, Toga and Twice stopped him
Saying something about how cute you are
So he spared you, for now
Toga!
Toga’s a terrible babysitter, I don’t know what to tell you
She almost stabbed you on three different occasions to make you not sad anymore
When she isn’t trying to stab you, she’s like a big sister(that has issues)
She’ll often take you to the mall and be called an excellent by sister by the oblivious people around her
She’ll most definitely steal thing from the store
But it’s for you!
She loves to let you play with her knives
She dresses you up in little cardigans and dresses no matter what gender you are
She’ll do your hair too, even though you might hate it, she’ll sit you down and demand to do your hair
She was denied babysitting privileges after the league found you surrounded by knives
If you gave her a deku plushie, or something that even remotely reminded her of Izuku, she’ll love you until the end of the world.
Her hugs are very scary
Mostly because she’ll breath in your ear and tell you how much you mean to her in a very terrifying way
Twice!
Twice is the greatest/worst babysitter on the team
He’ll give you cuddles, and then suddenly decide you’re gross
Will apologize for hours afterwards though
He confused you
A lot
But your tiny child brain can’t help it
He’s gonna steal you away from Toga after he saw you playing with knives
No child is going to lose their finger on his watch
He’s often in the background when you’re playing with Toga, making sure she doesn’t hurt you too badly
He loves you/hates you at the same time
I mean look at how cute you are
But you’re taking all the attention off of him from Toga
Little attention grabber
Will mistakenly give you booze, but then over react when he remembers booze for babies is wrong
Goes all throughout the league trying to find a cure
Atleast until Dabi trips him and tells him to shut up
Twice will take you to the park at night, or just walk you around
If you can’t sleep he’ll probably waste out all of your energy running around, and then you’ll pass out on the way back home
Saved you from being lit on fire or turned into dust many times
Mr Compress!!!
He’d be a very fun guy to be around, and probably is great at entertaining kids
If you can’t sit still long enough to watch his magic show he’ll absolutely teach you
But you can’t teach with those baby rags on your body
Shopping it is!
Will be like Toga and dress you up in a matching uniform with him
Little assistant
You’ll sometimes eat his marbles and give him a heartattack
What if one carried acid and you just injested it????
You’re one of the few that have seen his actual face
Which you hated
He’ll take you to renaissance fairs and perhaps a rodeo or two
Just for fun
Will teach you to steal
But with flash
He’ll turn Dabi or Shigaraki into a marble if they ever try to hurt you

You’ll stay in his room for a while
At least until Dabi learns that you’ve been eating marbles and will casually snatch you up one night

When you’re playing hide and seek with Toga and Twice he’ll hide you in his mist and when they both give up you’ll jump out
He gets emotional when you call him dad
He’ll take you on walks at night like Twice, and will treat you to little fast food places(eventhough he despises them)

I preface this by saying Gortash is a bad bad man who does many evil awful things but I also think it’s interesting to think about how him being sold to slavery as a child might have played a role in how willing he is to hurt children as part of his plans. Lots of times even villains will draw a line at hurting kids but for Gortash? I don’t think he distinguishes as much between hurting kids or adults or innocents vs people who deserve it. His view seems to be that twisted and it’s probably at least in part because no one ever treated him like an innocent to be protected when he was a child, so he sees no reason to play pretend that kids are off limits now. Those are my teddy bomb discourse thoughts but who knows. Wish we got more content with him so we could get a better read on him beyond a handful of letters and a couple of short scenes.
I actually thought about the whole teddy bear thing again. The game is telling us Gortash is some kind of master manipulator, genius politician and inventor, and overall good at considering all options. So. Let’s consider them.
Dead children. Refugees or not, dead children are always a bad look. Children just outside the Gate? Murdered, supposedly, by the cult that Gortash bangs his chest about opposing? How could that benefit him?
Yes, there will be dissent. But between whom? He’s already waging a full blown propaganda campaign against the Absolute for the wider public to fall in place, and he had plans for the nobility.
So I can’t help but wonder if he was supposed to come in as the hero to save the children. (I actually don’t know what happens in the game if you don’t intercept the bombs?) That would definitely make him popular. Gortash, uncovering a sinister plot against innocents! Gortash, averting disaster!
No one can argue with saving children, but there’s plenty of arguing to be had if children die outside your city in a terrorist attack and you weren’t able to prevent.
The way I see it there are two layers to this:
1) He really does not see children differently from adults and I 100% agree with you that this is likely the conclusion he came to after the HoH.
2) He was playing the long game, using lies and manipulations to make sure that there’s only one hero in the end: him.

I have an au idea were Bakugo accidentally blinds Izuku when they were kids and Izuku later develops a quirk (AFO gave him it in the hospital) that gives him the ability to manipulate and sense aura (basically the abilities of a Lucario. Though it would be funny if he also developed dog like ears.)
I feel like I'm gonna drop the dog ears idea, cause it's a bit goofier than I wanna go.
- Bakugou had always been a destructive child.
- maybe it had to do with his newfound quirk, or maybe the boy was just abrasive to begin with.
- but his negative features only heightened with the boys quirk, and nobody stopped him from doing whatever he wanted.
- for whatever reason the young Bakugou thought this allowed him to put his hands on Izuku, to get violent with Hisashi's son.
- he didn't have that right, no one did.
- yet here Hisashi sat in the hospital by his son's bedside.
- from what the parents had heard, the boys had been playing in the forest when the blond had slipped off a log into a stream, Izuku had fallen in not too long after and in a moment of adrenaline, Katsuki lose control and unfortunately the explosion caught Izuku in the eyes.
- or at least that's what Katsuki and his lackies stated.
- but as the father ran his fingers through the bandaged boy's hair he could see the events as if they were his own.
- he could see the blond slipping like he had described, but from there the story was false.
- Izuku didn't fall, he climbed down and outstretched his had to help his friend up. Hisashi witnessed the series of emotions flash through Katsuki's face. Shock. Confusion. Rage. Before he reared his arm back and aimed his quirk at his first friend and landed the unfortunate hit to the greenettes eyes.
- Hisashi's hand froze in their strokes as he controlled the ocean of anger residing within him.
- the doctors has already informed him and Inko that it was unlikely if not impossible for Izuku's sight to come back.
- and unfortunately he didn't have a healing quirk that could focus on such soft tissues and restoring their functions, (he'd have to fix that) and by the time he did it would to too late.
- nor did Hisashi have any sight quirks. He had sight based quirks but none that allowed one to see, an oversight since he had no issues with his eyes. But how he wished he had one to pass on to the small child.
- the only thing that he had that could work was Aura. A quirk that allowed one to mentally see and sense auras of living things. The villain had mostly obtained it because of it's tracking abilities, but he could always find another tracking quirk.
- Izuku needed this quirk more than he did. So he gently passed it over to the boy and hoped he would wake up soon.
- little did Hisashi know, there was so much more to the quirk he passed on to the newly blind boy, or that it would help him become the one thing he never wanted his son to be, a hero.
- but that would be far in the future and won't be thought of till a time much later.
- now there was just a man who loved his son more than the world.

And Touya laughing when the Pros look to him, "You volunteered for this, they found me, I was stuck with them. You dumbasses picked them up with a fucking bear trap, what did you expect?" fully ignoring the fact that he's the only one they listen to and that he has (and will continue to) risk prison for all of them.

an entire collector analysis. somewhat
in a previous analysis post about the Collector, i said that their "bad" intentions weren't entirely their fault in almost any case. i acknowledge that they definitely had some things that were conscious decisions of their own accord, but most of what WE see, is.. ehehdh. yknow?
especially with Belos. aka Philip.
this is a child, so they're obviously gonna be gullible and easily influenced. even negatively influenced. they have no way of knowing whats wrong and whats right, and I doubt their morals are in check, so the only adult figure in their life doesn't help with that. at all. he's an evil jackass who clearly abuses the Collector, mainly emotionally. not to mention that he literally lied to them for hundreds of years, and kept them trapped under a false promise. (pinkie promise at that)
he had never intended on freeing them. and when he did have them in his possession, it seemed like he encouraged lots of bad shit. my main point to this is how he kinda played along with them, and smiles at their silly "accusations"(hint hint: grimwalkers). he also clearly fucking uses them. for the magic, spells, and its also implied that they helped with the grimwalkers. "we can make another grimwalker" is a main line of indication.
i saw a few people say that, with them being a child and Belos the only adult around, they wanted to "impress" him and make him proud. like how most kids might do. and i agree with this, i would even consider it canon! and based off of my own personal experience, its probably true either way. i used to do stupid stuff all the time as a child, just to make the adults in my life laugh or smile. sure, the outcome wasnt always good, but its what kids do anyways.
also Collector has been around for thousands of years and I doubt they ever had a positive role model, parental figure, or any good adult in their life. and with no consequences to their actions(disregarding entrapment), it makes sense.
also their lack of empathy and understanding of others' safety makes sense as well. being alone with little to no social interaction for hundreds of years can do that to somebody. especially someone so young(mentally).
they're just immature, gullible, easily influenced, quick to trust(like with King and Philip), and more. overall, a child with too much power. i do think they understand this power(in contrast to what others think), since they have loads of powerful knowledge on magic and spells. so its only logical if they understood their own abilities, at least to varied degrees.
and they're far from a villain, at least an intentional one. at the most, they're just an antagonist(so far). they're also literally described as morally grey/chaotic NEUTRAL. and morally grey basically means: "The simple definition is that morally grey characters are those who are not completely good or completely evil. It's the characters who wobble in the “grey” area between hero and villain."
as to say, they don't really have their "own" morals put into place. in a way, they usually just go with whatever is asked of them as long as theres some form of game involved. once again, a childish trait.(or a pinkie swear, usually used a "deal". another childish thing)
and on the topic of pinkie swears/promises, Collector views these things as sacred. to them, you *cant* break a pinkie swear. its the ultimate bond, the best type of deal, you CANNOT break it no matter what. until someone does break it, their world just. shatters. hint HINT: Belos.
thennn cut to them being thrown off of a bridge into a pit of dead children after trying to "reason" with Belos. and so many people have pointed this out before but the collector was probably crying before King found them. their eyes indicate some type of puffiness, (to me)their voice sounds like its cracking/breaking, and the sorrow in their voice at "leave me alone". crying or not, theyre still very obviously saddened by the betrayal. and its understandable as to why theyre upset. someone who they thought they could trust for hundreds of years just turns around and backstabs them, out of greedy selfishness. and others have said Belos was in the right for not freeing them, since they're so dangerous. and yeah, they're dangerous, but what Belos did wasnt okay. especially since he promised that he would set them free after the day of unity for YEARS. and when the day finally came.. nope. it didnt happen, and they were literally thrown away. Belos still abused them, lied to them, used them, took advantage of their trust and gullibility, and probably more.
"you can trust me", "we have to wait until after the draining spell/day of unity", "your patience will be rewarded".
then, when King set them free after finding them, Belos STILL attempts to gaslight them. even when he's terrified. "Collector? you're free. just as promised."
and luckily, Collector catches on this time because now they KNOW better. "as promised? i remember someone throwing me off a bridge." then they ask if Belos wants to play tag, and then.. SPLAT! they boop him to death(literally. and while Belos may not be *dead*, thats for a different post). and honestly, good on them!
and this is the thing I really wanted to talk about. i can't rephrase my own words any better so I'll copy and paste them from a different analysis of mine. its from this clip if anyone wants better context:
not like this matters or anything, but i think it could have been a 50/50 thing. i say this because the Collector's eyes were still glowing and the line: "you guys look slow, too" probably indicates some malicious intent(and we know the Collector's eyes only glow whenever they use their power/magic, or at least something similar). but he's still a kid, he still enjoys games;;legitimate games. i remember him saying to King: "do you like hide and seek? I'll hide first" which just tells me that they genuinely like playing traditional, childish games. however, their way of playing games can definitely be considered dangerous,,unsafe. that can be for several reasons, but its probably just because they don't consider that they are actually hurting people. well, either that(or something similar)OR they just don't care. which makes some sense in Collector's POV, they're a young child mentally. and most children don't actually think about their actions or the consequences that follow. and for the Collector, there probably isn't any consequences(disregarding entrapment). so i do believe that they wanted to actually play tag, or something, with the other kids. but the game probably would have ended up being dangerous for the others, without the collector fully realising that(or caring, like i said previously). also yeah, their eyes do stop glowing whenever King shows up("King!" and their arms are spread wide in a welcoming manner), which probably was indication of the "game" ending before it even started. maybe their eyes glow whenever they're playing? it would make sense, in some context at least.
and yes, i do agree that the Collector was trapped for a reason! probably more than once given some clues. they're dangerous and their way of playing is straight up unsafe(given that they wanted to play with King whenever he hadn't even hatched yet.)
but so young(mentally), being trapped was obviously traumatic for them and probably terrifying. whether they "deserved" it or not.
they also MIGHT be linked to the wailing star, but my only evidence for this is because the cries sound similar to the Collector's voice. hopefully we get some insight on this in a twitter post, or even better: season three.
also, whenever Belos picks up Collector's disc, i SWEAR they said "stop". maybe im hearing incorrectly but i just wanted to say it here.
and if that is true, then.. hdgdgdh /neg ueghb
and if there is more than one collector, i hope we get some type of backstory. maybe its like an "extinct species" situation. like with the grimwalkers and titans. specifically the titans since they're clearly linked.
also copying and pasting this from another post.of mine: " isnt it so fucked up that Belos had intended on killing the Collector when he threw them down. he probably expected the disc to just shatter, but luckily it was caught on some bones instead. also throwing them into a "pit of failures" whenever all they had done was help him is kinda messed up.. like dude, that kid helped you for HUNDREDS OF YEARS and only wanted freedom in return. like how selfish do you have to be to consider that a "failure" or something similar.. this is just from Belos' and Collector's POV, but man. what the Fuck" and its true. i dont think they would have actually died, based on context clues we are shown, but the INTENT is still there. and thats what makes it so messed up.
i also dont think that the Collector understands the gravity of their actions. they reconstructed the titans skull, and possibly the rest of the boiling isles. or even the entire demon realm itself. we dont know yet. and they did it for a *game*, and i dont think they understood how harmful that was. they also clearly don't see how upset King is to leave his friends behind just to play with them. but in all fairness, King seemed to want to leave the Collector after promising them he would set them free and play with them. so their small rage fit and "you pinkie swore!" was somewhat justified. but all in all, King just wanted to save his friends, family, and everybody else. he didnt want *this*, but Collector doesnt know that. all they know is that the baby titan who they wanted to play with for years is here, alive, and promising to play with them. and that is what theyve been wanting. and waiting for.
i would also like some more information on that dream sequence! yknow, Collector's first appearance like a year ago or so. they seemed to have trapped the owl beast, aka Eda's curse. and from what i can tell, that beast didnt always use to be a curse. the Collector seems to have trapped it inside of a scroll. some have speculated it to be related to their *collection*, given their name, but im not too sure. theyre a god in relation to Titans of all beings. surely theyd have a more valuable collection than some curses and/or random beasts. but who knows? theres probably more to that event than we know, since this curse has shown to take a big toll on Eda(and Lilith, later on). "don't bother, beast. you can't run away anymore. its over." so maybe they had a chase that lasted a while? considering, in the dream, Collector is being remembered as much more menacing than they actually are. which is a common theme with memory in TOH. like with Luz remembering her mom, the collector, Hunter exclaiming how Belos probably remembered events incorrectly, and King recalling Luz saying something that she didnt actually say. or maybe theres separate collectors, like i said. and there is evidence for that, but theres also evidence that goes against that theory as well. at this point, its really just a 50/50 shot. but the appearance was still wicked /pos
