If TOH Was Written By Vivziepop
For starters, Luz would barely been much of a main focus, despite being the main character since, ya know, she's female
Camila would be an abusive bitch of a mom
Amity would have no personality beyond being "Luz's girlfriend".
Generally, all female characters like Eda, Willow, and Amity would receive little development and focus and only get very one-note character traits
Belos would be woobified and portrayed as a UwU soft boy that we are supposed to sympathize for
Hunter would be demonized and victim blamed for standing up to his poor uncle
Lilith would be a one-dimensional bitch with no depth or personality and remain a villian
The show would have a bunch of rando plotlines crammed in making it unfocused
All the villains would have their depth and nuance removed except for Belos who would again, be woobified

more memes from the ghostly Golden Guards but now they’re finale flavored

the ghosts are Luz’s own personal hype team and I just know they went through the widest possible range of emotions. first they’re mourning that Luz died and she’s probably not gonna be a ghost with them, then they’re hollering that she’s back to life, and then they’re howling like deranged monkeys as she beats Belos to a PULP. felt more emotion in those ten minutes than they had in their entire living lives

the mad scientist side of belos' character is sooo underexplored and the way fandom treats him as like this primitive old timey guy who would be scared of electricity is so silly like i'm SORRY but he's a magitech wizard with heavy industrial aesthetics who has quantum physics in his journal and experiments on corpses i promise you he wouldn't faint because of an iphone. he would be scared of cars though. not because he's from 17th century but because he's a deer

my least favorite (and unfortunately the most common) mischaracterization of belos is when he's depicted as this like. Grumpy Old Man. come on guys belos is not grumpy. he is literally the opposite. he is calm and uncannily sweet, his voice is soft and he chooses his words very carefully. he looks at you like you're a lost animal, with eyes full of pity and kindness so unnatural, you just can't shake off the feeling of something deeply Wrong. and even when he's not playing his character of a Nice Grandpa to get people do what he wants, he's still not grumpy. he is a passive-agressive bitch. he tells kikimora to kill herself with the same soft voice and sweet smile he used to tell hunter that titan has big plans for him. he's like if a mean girl was an old man do you get me

i know philip was exceedingly neglectful of his grimwalkers and he never even told them he'd been in the human realm before, but I really like the idea of him spinning this whole story about his Poor Brother who was Killed by Wild Witches and Hunter is just taking it all in with wide eyes and then the ghost of all the grimwalkers Philips killed and his brother start heckling him like "BOOOO I'VE HEARD THIS ONE BEFORE!"

An interesting idea to ponder for all you wittetherorists
The thought Philip tried to save Caleb's soul by attacking Evelyn and Caleb stepped in himself to protect her, rendering his death more of an accident.
And Philip is angry because had Caleb not done so, he'd be alive and "saved."

Was this fucker testing Hunter all along?
He knew his grimwalkers were betraying him around the same time. Probably mostly over the same reasons.
So Belos forced Hunter to see it? Sure he didn’t plan Hunter to get into his mind. But he didn’t push Hunter and Luz away from real and important memories, he led them there.
He plays the part at first
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then Hunter ‘betrays’ him by starting questioning him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then Belos stops the pretend
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then he looks angry. He forced Hunter to ‘betray’ him and now he feels as if he is justified to be ‘hurt’
Tumblr media
He looks disappointed
Tumblr media
He actually wanted this version to succeed. But all the previous grimwalkers were betraying him so at this point he just expects every future one to do the same. The second the grimwalker is out of his complete reach, he is pushing and pushing them to the edge. He wants them to succeed in the role he gave them yet he does not believe they can so he cuts them out without a doubt.
He is putting an effort to succeed and to fail. This is madness.

I see a lot of people believe that the look on Hunter’s face is him realizing Belos knows about Flapjack. Considering it’s a bird Palisman that’s being crushed that would make sense to jump to that conclusion.
But consider this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When we where first introduced to Belos’s ‘curse’ we all assumed it was like Eda’s. Where he loses control of himself and lashes out and Hunter got his face scar from being around during one of his outbursts, and Subsequently told it was his own fault for ‘getting in the way.’
However,
Tumblr media
In the scene before this, Belos flat out states that he willingly absorbs the palismans to gain their power! Implying that he has some level of control over himself aside from when the souls are ‘nagging’ him.
So yeah.
I don’t think Hunter was thinking about Flapjack.
Tumblr media
I think he realized that there is a good chance Belos gave him his scar on purpose.

Everyone being like "i miss fanon belos he was so sweet" is really missing the point of the background portraits in hollow mind.
Philip Wittebane was sweet. He was a cute little boy who loved his big brother more than anything.
The problem is his deepest character flaw: pride and a complete inability to realize he was wrong.
Philip was a probably the cleverest man in his village. But that made him arrogant and assume that he was right about everything.
So even when all the evidence points to witches not being evil, he sticks to his plans because he couldn't possibly have been wrong the whole time.
Its also why he keeps making grimwalkers, expecting a different result.
Because he thinks if the conditions are right, this new brother will turn out the way he wants. But they never will because every clone will always be a kind and thoughtful person at their core.
Belos is a fantastic villain because he is a very real person. Someone who believes wholeheartedly in themselves and their upbringing.

Everyone start thinking about Kit watching Tails and Sonic interact and wondering why Surge and him aren't like that. Think about his confusion. Think about Kit, for the first time in his life, longing for something more than what he has now or what he's had before. Think about Kits first true want being for his pseudo older sister to love him the way his enemies love each other.
Are you thinking yet?

Surge is so silly because what is she gonna do if she does manage to kill Sonic?
At the moment, the only reason she hasn't fallen into an identity crisis is because her will to destroy Sonic is the very thing driving her forward.
yes she's killed Starline but he still has hold over her. She is still doing the very thing he created her for. All she's doing is fullfilling a dead man's wish and carrying out his plans. Like c'mon girly FREE YOURSELF!!!

Honestly so much of Starline's actions and failures are explained when you realize he does not understand people.
He does not understand why people do what they do, how they find fulfilment in what they do, their motivations, why they think differently from him, that they know their limitations, what drives them to keep going, when they're better than him.
And he probably doesn't know these things about himself.
He was never going to be able to control Surge and Kit
