Ok, listen. I got curious and did style swap of these two. These two series are so similar but also slightly on the opposite ends visually and writing wise. Visually, both are stylized but still keep anatomy and references in mind. In writing both are 7+ demographically that are action, dramedies with a mix of urban fantasy and scifi. Gargoyles is a bit more muted in colors (makes sense, they are creatures that turn to stone), pay attention to shading, and curved in line expression. Tonally it is drama first, comedy elements second. Genre it is urban fantasy first with scifi elements. ROTTMNT is more saturated in colors, have minimal to no shading (have bits of extra black inking in the linework) with rim lighting every now and again, and sharper/angular line expression. @bananajuiceee2000 I have recently acquired a new hyperfixation: Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Which I know, is completely opposite from tmnt. But I genuinely love the show and the humor! All the characters are so well written and the actors are perfect for the character. The show just sits somewhere special in my heart.

Another one is a specific musical: Beetlejuice the musical! Although this musical is a little more popular; it’s still not main stream are regularly brought up. Alex brightman RAN THE SHOW. It was so fucking good and I love it so much, the soundtrack was SO FUCKING GOOD AUGH DIJFKDJXKKJDNDJD

There was a small little rant about two things I really love. Let me know if I should rant more about stuff I like in the future!

Do you want to know something ironic Brooklyn from Gargoyles isn’t on the sexy Tumblr man Wikipedia page but Lola Bunny is. I mean hell most helluva bosses that are important to the story and the same for hazbin hotel are on there but not one Gargoyles character 🙄 and yes I know I’m being petty but she is literally loved by every single furry in history but no Gargoyles character I know I’m throwing a hissy fit over something this stupid and I agree that this is stupid and will contribute nothing to society but the wiki is a bit unfair if you ask me

Edit: the wiki’s have actually four legged animal like why is that on there but not a single gargoyle character

But in my HUMBLE opinion the ending was crap and needs to be retconned...I'm here to retcon this MUTHA!

First and foremost...Rita feeds on Justice killing him in the process and she and Max live happily every after

so cute!....oh yeah Julius saved Nikki secretly (idiot tried to give her his blood)...well in the one doctor's office he finds a ring belonging to one of Max's ancestors and puts it on becoming Max's "brother" and he resurrects Nikki who is devoted to Julius despite her and Max's past SEXTIVITIES.

Just when they get settled this nxgga shows up talking about "Surprise Muthafka"

With his girl (the cure didn't stick)

Son?!?!?!?

and Son's GF

Anyway the long awaited crossover, death match starts with Eric and Maximillian

wayment...wrong movie. Sorry! Anyway the match starts and these nosey dickheads show up..

So...a truce is made, the fam gets to work killing EVERY MFING MEMBER OF THE GLOW VAMP COUNCIL and they head to Rome where the 8 of them rule the vampire world. No longer a Vampire in Brooklyn, Ghoul, or vampire slayer...now THEY ARE THE UNDEFEATED COUNCIL!
