Hey. I'm really sorry if I came across pushy or impatient bc that was not my intention at all. Of course school is more important. I hope you like my ideas but if not that's totally fine.

Ok, so here's the first one. You have been a member of Easy co. through almost the whole war. Down in the mud with them and forced to wear the same uniform. Other than being the only girl in the company you just blended in with the guys. That is, until the end of the war came.

My request is a headcanon of the guys reaction to seeing you actually look like a girl for the first time. I mean the works; pin up hair, make up, killer dress, and heels. Also, if it's not too much trouble could you please make sure to include Doc Roe, Babe, Malarkey, and Liebgott? If you want to include any of the other boys please do. Thanks!

Hey hey! Me again sending in my second idea. Again you're the only girl in Easy co. and at some point during the war you took quite a bit of shrapnel; especially to your chest and abdomen.

This is another reaction headcanon request (of a more romantic nature) of the guys seeing all your scars for the first time during a more private moment. Again can you please include Doc Roe, Babe, Malarkey, and Liebgott? Thanks! ❤️

Since you sent two requests, I decided to combine them for the sake of ease and time.

Even though I'm a writer, I'm a historian by trade, and I've never been comfortable with the whole "unexplained sole female member of the company" because I could never stretch my imagination to come up with a proper explanation for why that would be, so I hope you don't mind that I had to change it slightly. I also don't write NSFW, so the second part had to be left pretty vague.

Because of the time crunch, these haven't been proof read or edited!

Reactions to seeing you dressed up for the first time, and later, your battle scars

Doc Roe

When a women's division was added to Easy Company, a lot of the men found themselves getting somewhat distracted

If he's being honest, then yes, Gene has spared a glance at some of the women. But he's been so busy with the constant work of being a combat medic that he hasn't noticed anyone in particular

Until the end of the war, that is

Everyone goes wild once Berchtesgaden is taken. People are looting the jewelry and clothes for themselves, for friends and family, for sweethearts back home

And you happen to take a dress and some jewelry that make you absolutely sparkle - when Gene sees you for the first time, it takes his breath away

Once he works up the courage to talk to you, the two of you take it slow

With everything that has happened and the fast pace of the war, he completely forgot that you took some shrapnel back in Bastogne

You seem so ashamed when you first show him the scars it left you with, but he thinks nothing of it

"We all got 'em," he assures you

"You don't."

"Yeah, I do." He places your hand over his heart. "You just can't see 'em."

Babe

Okay, I think he would actually take notice of you for the first time after the war

It's at an Easy reunion. He happens to look up from his drink as you walk in

He chokes, which draws Bill's attention

"Who the hell is that?"

Bill squints over at you. "Oh, I think it's (Y/L/N)."

"Who?"

"(Y/N)? From the women's division, remember?"

Babe tilts his head. "No."

"Well, she looks different outta uniform, I guess."

All this to say, Babe has taken an interest in you, and he has no qualms about telling you exactly that when he (re)introduces himself to you

You have a great time at the reunion, and although you and Babe keep in touch and become close, he's a little shocked to realize how many things he didn't know about you

Like about the scars that the war left you with

You're shy, almost timid, when you show him, even though you trust him by now

"I had no idea," he admits.

"I don't usually bring it up," you hesitate before continuing. "It, uh - some guys haven't liked it. It makes them uncomfortable."

Something about the way you say it is so open and honest that Babe can't help the rush of emotion that comes over him. He grabs your hand and squeezes it tight

"Then doll, they weren't good enough for you."

Malarkey

Unlike the others, he knows you got hit, because he was there

But it's not something that he thinks about. He's busy trying to forget the war, after all

And as the war draws to a close, he gets so used to seeing you in your Ike jacket and thinking about how it makes you look like some sort of goddess of war that it's distracting

It's not until your last night in Berchtesgaden, when your relationship becomes official, that he learns about the scars the shrapnel left you with

"Does it hurt?" he asks, immediately remembering that awful day back in Holland when he saw you go down as the shrapnel struck you.

"No." You only smirk. "You should see the other guy."

He knew there was a reason that he liked you so much.

Liebgott

Listen, he's such a flirt that I'm convinced he noticed you before and has been subtly throwing flirtations your way throughout the war

But once he sees you at the war's end in a dress and some bright red lipstick that you stole? WOW - you're a knock-out. The pin-ups back in the States have nothing on you, and he simply can't wait another second to make a move

"Hiya, your Highness." He kisses the back of your hand and gives you a deep bow. "My name is Joe. Have we met before?"

All the other women would be giggling while watching the interaction. You can only roll your eyes, trying to hide the heat rushing to your cheeks.

"Maybe once . . . in your dreams."

Joe has always thought you were pretty, and he'll think your gorgeous no matter what

Seeing your scars has a different effect on him.

The anger that would course through him at the realization that the war left its mark on you in the most literal sense? Unmatched.

"Joey," you have to tell him, hooking his chin with a finger and guiding his gaze back up to your eyes. "If it makes you uncomfortable I can - "

"No." He grabs your hands. "Sorry, doll. I didn't mean to make you self-conscious. I just - "

"I know," you assure him. "No use being angry now, though. The damage is done."

But he doesn't want you to see it as damage. And slowly, he comes to see it as character instead; one more piece of you that makes you who you are - and reminds him of why he fights.

Hii peeps, i've made some TF2 morning routine headcanons, bc i'm obesesed with this game and i can never stop thinking about all of the mercs

keep in mind eng isn't my first language so there could be some stuff wrong haha (cries in brazilian)

Scout

One of the last to wake up, usually leaves the room already dressed, his social energy already replenished, having more energy than the others to talk. He starts the day with cereal and milk, and as soon as he's done Scout invites, anyone who has time, to play baseball with him.

Mostly cheerful, Scout tends to crack jokes in the morning, trying to make conversation and asking how everyone's night went, always talking about the dreams he had, if Miss Pauling isn't involved, of course.

Soldier

very punctual, every day he wakes up at 7 am, has a hearty breakfast (bacon and eggs with orange juice, American stuff), and already leaves to put on his uniform, his time outside varies between target shooting, unnecessarily running for hours without stop, break the necks of criminals for America, taking care of the raccoons in Merasmus' house, go back and wake up the others who are still sleeping.

He already wakes up in a good mood and energized, talking loudly in the morning resulting in sometimes waking up the other men. If it's not Scout who is bringing up the subject or telling stories, that role is Soldier’s, that is if he comes back home during the others' breakfast.

Pyro

Wakes up around 8 am, his mood usually already being high up. He likes apple juice and pancakes for breakfast or sweeter things in general. After eating, Pyro goes from setting small things on fire or drawing and watching cartoons on TV.

Always cheerful, he rarely wakes up angry. He comes out of his room already hopping and waving to the other mercenaries.

Demoman

It varies on how he slept last night, depending on how drunk he was. Demo gets out of bed looking in the fridge for anything that has alcohol in it, going so far as to pour vodka into his coffee cup. It is normal to find him walking dizzy through the halls of the house, or sleeping in a random corner of the backyard. He is usually the one who agrees to play baseball with Scout, even though most of the time he has to stop playing because he is too dizzy.

Demoman goes between babbling shit when he wakes up / talking in his sleep (yes, in the middle of the breakfast table), or laughing along with Soldier / Scout. Aside from being drunk, it's hard to see the Demoman wake up in a bad mood or sad unless he doesn't find anything alcoholic in the fridge.

Heavy

he is already up around 8/9 in the morning, a chamomile tea is what he normally drinks in the morning accompanied by his sandwich. He likes to spend his free time reading a book or just sitting in front of the base enjoying the morning breeze, if possible talking to Medic.

Heavy isn't much of a talker when he first wakes up, answering others shortly and quickly, Soldier and Scout’s stories helping him wake up faster, eliciting a few laughs from him. Despite this, Heavy wakes up with a neutral personality, what will happen throughout the morning decides how his mood will be.

Engineer

What time he wakes up depends on how much sleep he had last night as he has a habit of having brainstorms at ⅔ in the morning. When he wakes up, he already takes coffee from the coffee maker, adding milk depending on how much energy he needs in the morning. After eating anything easy he finds in the cupboard, he goes straight to his workshop to finish what he started the previous morning.

Difficult to wake up in a bad mood, he always leaves the room with a smile on his face and greets others, it takes a few moments to become talkative, but after a cup of coffee, he starts to interact better.

Medic

Due to insomnia, Medic tends to wake up very early, already up at 6 am. His first idea is to look at the things he was doing before going to sleep in an attempt to bring his sleepiness back, if that fails, after a few hours, Medic leaves his lab and goes straight to the kitchen to eat something, going about his day as usual. Most of the time his choice is tea (especially when he can't get back to sleep) and something simple to go with it like biscuits, then go back to work on what he was doing before going to the kitchen.

It takes time to "wake up". His mood most times is not the best, easily irritated by too much noise in the morning. He tends to give others dry good mornings, paying more attention to the thoughts running through his head and after a few minutes he finally snaps back to reality. Usually, it's Heavy who can talk to him best.

Sniper

Between the last and the first to wake up since he sleeps outside the base / in his van, it depends on how good his night of sleep was. Starts the day with a strong black coffee, not too much sugar, a slice of bread with butter being a good enough breakfast, and when with patience a fried egg. He gets dressed when he wakes up if he hasn't already slept in his clothes. When he leaves the van, his first hobby, if not seeing the others, is target shooting or watching a program recorded on a cassette tape.

Always looking tired, his social battery is usually very low in the morning and it's even hard to see him out of the van shortly after waking up, but that doesn't stop him from laughing at Scout's jokes or missing the chance to make fun of Spy at the first opportunity that arises.

Spy

He wakes up around 6 am (the first one to wake up) since he likes the silence and his alone time. Usually, he has breakfast, does some kind of exercise or stretching, and gets dressed, staying in his smoking room reading some magazines or books until the others wake up.

His mood starts good when he wakes up, normally calm and with a smile on his face, that is until the others wake up, causing him to revert to his ordinary serious personality.

Still reading MDZS (I’ve been taking my time) and I have a question that I was wondering if anyone could answer about colors, as someone who wishes to draw fannart. Is the blue often drawn in Lan uniforms book-cannon??? I can find no textual evidence that Lans having any details in their robes that aren’t white, and would like some. Personally, rn I have the inclination to draw the forehead ribbon embroidery in silver/grey. Additionally, I can’t find Wei Wuxian’s outfit description, and definitely can’t find him wearing a red ribbon. WWX definitely wears black as the Yiling Patriarch, and is probably wearing it during present timeline given ch 14 his description of his father and mother and comparing them to him and Lan Wangji (his father wore black and his mother wore white), but I can’t find any explicit mentions of colors for his robes. The red seems to come from chenqing’s tassle. I can’t even find the color of WWX’s sword glare :(

Further color questions/comments below:

Also only note I could find on WWX eye color is that they were originally dark. In Mo Xuanyu his eyes are described as bright but I can’t find any other mentions. Additionally, it’s unclear if they look alike to me; ik WWX described Mo Xuanyu’s face as definitely not the face of the Yiling Patriarch but this seems to be more about the fact that his face has pristine and bright and youthful vibes. Also he’s shorter lol.

Also for the Jin’s robes the only one that specifies a single flower that I can recall was Jin Guangyao’s, and I think Jin Ling was introduced with flowers (plural) on his robe, so I want to know if anyone knows about this discrepancy. This feels like this could be a translation discrepancy though as according to my minute google search Chinese doesn’t have plurals. “The embroidery on his robes was indisputably exquisite, swirling together into extraordinary white peonies.” Is Jin Ling’s robes vs “the full bloom of the Spark Amidst Snow family insignia embroidered on the chest of his round-collar robe, matched with a nine-ringed belt and a pair of tall boots.” For Jin Guangyao.

I also can’t figure out if WWX wears Jiang’s purple robes when he was head disciple.. I can’t even figure out for certain if all Jiang disciples wore purple, as the mentions of it I find are associated with Yu Ziyuan or her kids (Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli). Because WWX’s robe gets specified as black post burial mounds but I can’t find it before it I’d assume he wears Jiang colors, if they were Jiang colors. If not, and he wears black otherwise, I think this would be because it’s the color his father wore not because Yu Ziyuan is particularly jealous. Actually, it could just be that bells were what indicated being a sect member instead of clothing color, but idk if not color coding sect members is common??

Also can’t figure out if the studying disciples at The Cloud Recesses wore white. My guess actually leans towards yes as at the archery competition all the disciples had to wear Wen red, so if that’s the standard I’d assume they’d have to wear white in the cloud recesses (though the Wens may have been doing a power play).

Also if anyone has a chapter/page number for a description of Wen robes that would be appreciated. I started this post like 30 minutes ago and spent a long while looking for textual evidence (luckily I’m on kindle so I have a search feature) of each clan’s robes but I’m feeling done. .. same with what the burial mound Wens were wearing bc I always see them in Wen robes which in my mind kinda makes sense but also kinda doesn’t, but I haven’t reread to that point.

If anyone has any clothing information of sects/characters that hasn’t been mentioned from book cannon and wishes to share with me I’d appreciate it so much I’m going insane. Or if you have any particularly good resources on embroidery/robes/swords/instruments/hair/other things that understanding would give better idea on how these babies actually dress. MDZS isn’t trying to exist in a particular time period is it? I’ve seen guestimations on the internet of like 2nd century to 6th century, but my understanding is that it’s kinda like high fantasy novels which just get set in vaguely-Western Europe and unmodern.

Mint Chocolate Chip | The Prequel

Summary: Harry meets you for the first time and he feels an immediate draw and connection to you. He must have you but in order to have you he needs to come up with a plan.

reader request: Idk if you’re still taking requests so you could like ignore this if you’re not BUT I reread Mint Chocolate Chip (😏 bc duh) and I was wondering if you could write about the first time harry walks into the icecream shop / first time meeting y/n and kinda how he acted or like his thought process along with y/n’s to the interaction.

MCC Masterlist

Harry'd been to Pink's Ice Cream & Dairy a couple of times to order his favorite ice cream snack, mint chocolate chip in a cake cone. Today, like the other times he stopped in, he was heading home after running errands. The interior of Pink's was all pink and red and white. The employees all wore white collared, button-up short-sleeved shirts with red pants and pink aprons. Baseball caps rounded the uniform off and could be any of the three colors. Managers wore red aprons.

As far as Harry could tell, all of the employees, aside from the managers, were high school age. When he walked in today, he knew exactly what he wanted and his intention was to place his order and take it with him to leave so he could head home.

Harry rounded the front of the ice cream case and you saw him before anyone else. He was a tall and attractive older man. Not old by most standards, but you were still in high school and any man older than high school age was considered an older man to you.

But when he looked at you as you stood on the opposite side of the ice cream case with your white hat and stupid uniform that looked adorable on your frame, Harry forgot what he was doing for a second. He stood in awe and when he heard your voice, "What would you like sir?" He snapped out of it.

"Hmm... I really like the mint chocolate chip. Which is your favorite?" Harry leaned onto the counter looking down at all the colorful flavors before looking back at you. He knew he was only going to get the mint chocolate chip, but he wanted to hear more of your voice, and have some of your attention while you answered his question.

"I love this one right now," you point your finger down to the pink one with white swirls and hunks of strawberries, "it's the strawberry shortcake, just for Valentine's Day. We didn't get many cases in but it's so good. Do you want to taste?"

Yes, he did. He wanted a taste, but not of the ice cream. Though, he'd take you up on the offer, "Yeah. Sure." He watched as you turned around and picked up a sample spoon from a tray and then turned back to the ice cream case, sliding the glass door over the top and reaching down to dip the little white spoon into the strawberry shortcake ice cream. You lifted the spoon above the case and Harry took the spoon, but not without making sure his fingers brushed against yours.

You smiled widely at the man and watched as he tasted your current favorite flavor. He seemed to like it. His eyes were stuck on your face and you found him to be more attractive by the second. His light green eyes were mesmerizing. And you really liked his deep voice, he sounded like he was from England.

Harry lifted the spoon up to give back to you and you took it to throw it away, "What did you think? Still want the mint chocolate chip?"

Harry watched you turn and toss the spoon into the trash bin. When you faced him again he spoke, "Yeah, I'd still like the mint chocolate chip. But I do like your favorite flavor too," he looked down at your name tag, "Y/n."

You felt yourself heat up when he said your name, "Do you want it in a cone or a cup?"

"A cake cone, just a single dip." Harry watched you work. Putting the stainless steel ice cream dipper under the running water and then plunging it into the ice cream. You plopped the perfect sphere of ice cream over the cake cone and handed him his treat, complete with a paper wrap around the cone.

When he walked to the end of the case you smiled and then turned away from him to help the next customer. Another girl rang him up at the cash register but he kept his eyes on you.

You did glance back over at the handsome man, feeling his eyes on you. He licked his cone when you made eye contact with him and he began walking to the dining room area so he could sit for a while.

He’d planned on going home as soon as he paid for his cone, but after seeing you he knew he needed to take you in a bit longer. He was surprised by his reaction to you.

The hot older man stayed for a bit. You caught his gaze on you and it seemed like he wasn’t even trying to be discreet about watching you.

“He’s like staring at you. Kind of creepy.” Rochelle said to you as you were both making sundaes for a customer.

“It’s not creepy.” You shrugged and turned back to see the man finishing his cone as he stood to toss the napkin into the trash.

“Just because he’s hot doesn’t mean it’s not a little creepy.” She joked as she topped the whipped cream with a maraschino cherry.

You scoffed, “Whatever. He’s just being nice.”

A snort fell from Rochelle, “Nice? He’s eye fucking you, Y/n. He’s a grown man and he’s looking at you like he wants to drag you home with him and lock you away in his basement.”

You rolled your eyes as you handed the customer their sundaes and realized the British man was already gone.

It felt disappointing that he left without even a wink or a dimpled grin in your direction. But you supposed he was probably too old for you anyway.

Little did you know, Harry was planning on coming back to watch you leave work at closing time and follow you home. He didn’t know why he needed to know where you lived or see which car was yours but he did. He was powerless against his sudden compulsion.

Harry couldn’t relax at home. You were all he could think of and if his self-awareness was correct, you liked him too. At least you seemed to like his eyes on you. He couldn’t figure out what it was about you. A high school girl probably, pretty, genuine smile, eager but naive, pretty lips, captivating eyes, sweet voice… easy to manipulate he thought.

Harry had always had certain tendencies. He would get hyper-fixated on someone or something and learn everything possible about them. He’d been violent before, especially when his obsession didn’t fall in line or return his affections.

He’d drugged people and brought them home before. And his fantasy was to keep them. Make them his and have them become completely compliant and submissive to him. But usually by the time the person woke up he’d chicken out and let them leave.

Most people never caught on to his dark intentions. They just thought they’d gotten drunk and slept at his place. Some were suspicious of him, while only a couple called him out and fetched the police.

The police never found anything, and the complaints were dropped. But he couldn’t be so loosey-goosey with how he handled drugging people anymore. Another call to the cops and they’d probably arrest him. Though he was careful, he would only get so many chances before the pattern became the proof.

So, a true kidnapping was not something he’d really gone through with. Not only did he not know how he’d convince his captive to submit to him, but he also didn’t have a place to keep them so that no one would ever know.

Harry immediately began googling when he arrived home. The World Wide Web is a magical place. You really can find out everything you want to know with step-by-step instructions if necessary. Reddit became his Bible. He saved page after page to read for later with ideas on how to do everything. From the long-game plan to the supplies he could use for the task, down to how to soundproof a room and manipulate a person.

He drove back to Pink’s when he knew they’d be closing. He parked far enough away that he wouldn’t get spotted but close enough to get a good look at you as you left the store.

You walked out with a group of your co-workers and you each got into separate cars. Harry kept his headlights off at first when he followed you out of the parking lot. You lived only fifteen minutes from Pink’s. You had a silver, two-door hatchback Hyundai and you kept the windows rolled down as you drove to your home.

It was a nice little neighborhood. Your parents had a ranch-style home with a large yard in the front and a big tree that shaded the whole house. He parked and turned his car off as he watched you get out and walk into the house. He waited for a bit. It was just past midnight. The house you’d entered was dark, which meant your parents were likely sleeping.

Harry got out of his car and looked around to make sure no one had spotted him before he ducked behind your car and made his way around to the back of your house. There was one window that had a light coming through and he knew that must be yours or the bathroom perhaps.

He crept along the exterior of the house and peeked into the window. Curtains were drawn so he couldn’t see inside but based on the curtains and the music he could hear seeping out of the window pane, he knew this must be your bedroom.

He left shortly after, not wanting to be caught. What he had done was risky, but he was only just getting started with you.

Harry often frequented the ice cream shop and he came a lot more often when he realized such a pretty girl worked there.

He subtly flirted with you and would sit and watch while he ate his ice cream. He enjoyed how you’d look back at him and smile shyly. He also loved how you’d perk up when he stepped into the shop and you always insisted on being the one to help him.

Harry took his time with the plan. It needed to be perfect. Full proof. You were young and healthy and you’d certainly put up a good fight if he abducted you in public. He had to work out every last detail perfectly for his plan to work.

The part that took the longest was getting his basement soundproofed and ready for you. He cleared much of the things he had down there out. He didn’t need them anyway. Then, once he had you in his basement he’d work on your bedroom upstairs.

He read up on psychological manipulation and even stories from other people who had been kidnapped or people who had done the kidnapping. He learned all he could and he bought exactly what he needed for the task. He even had to study up on dosing your drug properly for when the time came. He realized the best way to get you into his van was to drug you. He figured you’d trust him enough to let him get close, but it would be unlikely that you’d just jump into his van with him.

The months of planning and creating a space for you were his new obsession. In the back of his mind, he never thought he’d actually go through with it, despite his calculated preparations, it wouldn’t be real until he had you in his basement.

He often would watch you in your bedroom as well. You were a very good girl. Doing your homework, reading, trying on modest outfits in front of your mirror, dancing to music you played on your radio, and talking on your phone. Sometimes you had friends over. Sometimes you brought your boyfriend over. He didn’t know how serious you were with your boyfriend. He didn’t like the guy at all. Harry began to feel very possessive over you. Like he had a claim to you. Because in his mind, you were already his.

He would fantasize about cutting the brake lines in your boyfriend’s car so he’d have an accident. Perhaps die even. Harry didn’t actually want to kill anyone, but he really didn’t like that you had a boyfriend.

Harry also began going to your school and watched you leave at the end of the day. You had a good group of friends. He knew you weren’t part of the popular crowd, though. But you weren’t not popular either. You seemed to make average grades and you had two very close friends, both of which you’d have at your house a few times every week. He found out their names and where they lived as well.

The further Harry got along with his planning the harder it was for him to imagine that it’d actually work in his favor. Could he really go through with it? He’d taken people into his home before but this was different. He never kept them. He had a basement ready to go to keep you in and everything. He had various scenarios ready, backup plans, and even a way to explain himself if he did get caught by the police. Harry was meticulous. He took his time to create the perfect abduction. He wanted you. Not just physically, he wanted you to belong to him. He wanted you to want him back eventually as well. And some days he even just needed to see you to calm the anxiety in his body, and the uncertainty in his mind. Just looking at you, whether you were working at Pink’s or sitting on your bed in your bedroom, made him calmer, made his heart bloom for you. He didn’t know when it would happen, or even if he’d ever go through with it, but he was certain that if he ever had the chance he’d take it and you’d be his alone, once and for all.

Aforementioned Napoleonic AU! Martian !! I said it would just be a wip but then oops, I basically finished it! Ty to everyone who was interested :D

Really really proud of these I'm ngl! I rendered in a really different way than ever before and I'm very satisfied with it :D

Ramble about historical influences(basically me being a nerd about who I consider the F1 drivers of the Napoleonic era):

So I wanted to explain my thought process because I think that the specific context behind the uniforms I drew is very relevant, as I didn't just pick them on a whim.

I drew them in Hussars' uniforms(Austrian Empire = Red Bull, but like obviously not 100% accurate because the uniform colors are based off the RBR racesuits.) Hussars are, in my opinion, the F1 drivers of their time. Let me quote several things that led me to this conclusion:

"During the Napoleonic period, hussars, as in all armies, were employed as scouts, given raiding missions or despatched to harry and pursue a defeated enemy on the run. Mounted on light, nimble horses..."

"...Their flamboyant costume and their reputation for daredevil acts..."

"...developed a romanticized image of being dashing and adventurous.

Okay....so they're dashing and adventurous, riding specifically on fast, light horses, dressed in flamboyant outfits committing daredevil acts...sir that is literally an F1 driver!!! Tell me they aren't the historical predecessor to F1 drivers!!!

I have this big book of Napoleonic uniforms(yea I'm a nerd) and I was paging through it to see what uniforms I wanted to draw(I have a habit of drawing my one oc in the Napoleonic era. So when I started drawing fanart, I'm like of course I must draw them as this!) Austria's normal uniforms in this era are soooo boring compared to France's, so I was really 😒 about drawing them, but then I came across the Hussars, and then started noticing all these similarities and thought it was perfect. Also I need to mention the fact that Austria's royal cipher at the time was literally this:

IT'S "F1", IT IS LITERALLY FUCKING F1, WHAT THE HELLLLL!?!?!?!? I had like a partial mental crisis coming across this, at that point it was destiny for me to draw this

*I wrote most of his around when I started this drawing, which was all the way back in April. And it's really interesting to consider now that I was basically immersed in the history of the Austrian Empire for a month. I apologize to everyone in my life who had to endure my lecture on why Hussars are the F1 drivers of their time. But god I could not hold it back when I saw some of these uniforms in person. And it was cool to pull out this drawing, even if it was just a wip, and be like "oh hey I've drawn these!!" Anyways, I digress.

Obviously the martian drawing is a direct reference to this pic from Malaysia 2010:

I almost wanted to draw Seb in the Austrian Kaiser's outfit, but it is nowhere near as slay as the Hussar uniform, so Hussar uniform it is!

I have many thoughts and opinions on the lore of this au so pls ask if you're curious but it's also just a lot.

And even if you didn’t kiss or cuddle anyone could see how lovesick you two were over each other, by the smiles you give each other, just by the looks in your eyes or how the two of you talk about each other. How your days gets better instantly just by seeing the other

If you both are comfortable you’ll kiss in public, and I do believe you wouldn’t kiss that often in the school infront of people bc of the homophobes that exists.

On that note if the bullying or comments gets too much for either of you, the two of you goes to the art classroom and eat lunch there instead, otherwise you just eat lunch with all of your friends

If you haven’t come out yet Charlie would help any way he can

Blue’s stick figure tutorial!

I wanted to make a tutorial for @stickfigureschallenge , but keep in mind that you don’t have to follow this tutorial! You can draw your stick figures however you want ❤️ This is just how I personally like to do them, for people who might feel a little lost and don’t know where to start. (tutorial under the cut!)

To draw a stick figure I like to start with a nice circle for the head, I then add a small line for the neck

Then I give them a rectangular body, and I add the arms and legs!

Once you’re done with the base shape, you can add details to make it more recognizable as the character.

In this exemple I’ll be drawing Wednesday from the tv show, so I start by adding her braids! (braids are fun, bc you can just make little circles istead of drawing individual strands ^^)

then you can add the face!

the way i personally make eyes is by doing these little spirals things and filling them until i'm satisfied ^^

Next up! Drawing clothing is optional, but I like to do it as I feel like it makes it more reconizable as the character - so in this case I drew the Nevermore uniform (I'm not gonna break down every step for this as it would take too long, but if anyone wants me to do a tutorial for clothing lmk!) I added a lot of details, but you can keep it as simple as you want ❤️

And you’re done! (Of course this is just a basic tutorial, you can divert from it and experiment as much as you want, as well as try giving them different poses and expressions!)

Additional tips:

If I want my stick figure to use their hands, I’ll draw them as little circles like this

I personally don’t draw eyebrows, so I use the eyes to convey emotions - for exemple, most tutorials will tell you that turned up eyebrows portray sadness, and downturned ones anger; so you can shape the eyes with that in mind and it works really well!

Often they’re videos too, with a little caption about how he can’t wait to feed you whatever he’s making…..

Jack — ENTIRELY accidental Jack Howl is NOT a slut he does not have a slutty bone in his body and he has no idea that his post-workout pics are thirst traps. But they are. They absolutely are. If anyone told him he would take a hammer to his phone in shame. These are not public he’s just trying to keep in contact with you 🥺

Leona — absolute. Fucking. Attention whore. No shame. He can’t be assed to keep up his social media but he absolutely takes the most jawdropping and purposeful pics to send to you just to make you short circuit. Little hints of taut stomach and a happy trail under a loose shirt that he lifts to wipe his face after practice; his arm stretching up behind his head as he looks at the camera w heavy-lidded eyes; his back and shoulders and that tattoo on his arm on full display in the mirror. Inhumane. Literally going to throttle him.

Jade — SO cunning about it. Obviously. Lots of stuff that u might not think is purposeful; primo pics of the lounge but he’s in the back w his sleeves rolled up chopping veggies or reaching up to grab something from the top of a cabinet. Sends you little daily pics that are equally as subtle but then when he sees you after he gives you a little smile and asks if you liked them and u Know what he’s doing

Floyd — sporadic. You’ll get nothing for weeks at a time and then a slew of them. Usually random shit. Him absolutely drenched w his uniform shirt all see-through putting his chest and shoulders on display (“fell in a fountain LOLOLOLOLOL”) His teeth bared in an open-mouthed grin (that’s a mer thing, you realize days later) Blood? Splattered across his cheek? Is he flexing his jaw? (“Don’t worry it’s not mine”)

Vil — ofc he posts thirst traps but DO NOT call them that. And to his credit they are very tasteful, kinda artsy; always met with droves of comments drooling over him. But he sends you special ones. It’s a testament to how much he trusts you that he sends them at all (that’s a lie. They’re charmed to delete themselves if you ever showed them to anyone else). Very oddly sensual body parts—his hand holding a flower, the corner of his eye as he’s drawing his liner, the slope of his collarbone—and sent with a cheeky little excuse for sending them. He’s not fooling you at all.

Lilia — yes he takes thirst trap pics. I don’t think I can even describe them accurately bc they r absolutely dependent on you personally. He knows exactly how best to make you lose your mind and tbh accompanies them with a caption that’s subtle enough nobody but you would get but is borderline obscene to you specifically. Yk? Gets explicit in your texts though. He’s basically sending you nudes but he’s fully clothed and it’s arguably entirely sfw………

Malleus — sends you one photo. It’s blurry. It might be his ear? You can’t tell. A day later a massive portrait of him sitting on a throne in full princely regalia appears at your front door. It moves and talks; it professes its undying love for you every time it sees you. You have to cover it with a cloth to get it to shut up.

THIS IS ALSO SUCH A LONG REPLY BC I JUST. RAMBLE. I AM SO SORRY IF THIS MAKES NO SENSE, IT IS ABSOLUTELY ALL OVER THE PLACE-

Okay! So I really really love the AU, but sadly there's no cohesive plot to follow if we're gonna be honest- I have a few points, like the banquet I changed up, and Akutagawa's appearance as Atsushi's coach is also changed, but other than that I really just have this to draw connections and put sskk in silly little YoI scenarios </3

I tried real hard to match BSD characters to YoI but it was just not working for me [I've been messing with this AU for like, a year after all] Even deciding between Akutagawa and Atsushi as who would be Viktor and Yuuri was a bit complicated, bc I personally think it has potential either way. The obvious, and generally more fitting choice is the one I went with ofc, but I think a version where Atsushi is Akutagawa's coach would be just as interesting!

Anyway, despite being mostly just for kicks, I still tried to put thought into it!

With how Yuuri was constantly surprising and surpassing Viktor's expectations, I figured Akutagawa's ability to surprise Atsushi with his actions would work well. [Also because I think the scene in the parking lot where Viktor tells Yuuri he'll resign as his coach if he doesn't make it to the podium is very reminiscent of the scene in s3 with the imagery of Akutagawa shattering from Atsushi's reckless words-] But again, Akutagawa as Viktor works just as well since Yuuri says in the very first episode that Viktor never ceased to surprise him, if we're going that route. As well as the fact that both sskk and Viktuuri learn from each other throughout their respective journeys together.

Like Atsushi's 2 costumes being based around his ADA design/The Tiger, and Beast, or Akutagawa having a lighter coat/his overall main design being a lot brighter to symbolize the change from yk, the Mafia in canon. I also threw in the Ch88 themed look for Akutagawa's younger version because I wanted to draw Akutagawa with longer hair, but the design itself is supposed to symbolize a sort of 'end' to his skating. Since Viktor begins to lose inspiration further down the line until meeting Yuuri, that's what I'm trying to implement with the design. If that makes any sense-

Since Akutagawa in canon had been searching for worthy opponents as a way to gain Dazai's approval, when he finally met his match against Atsushi he was practically thrilled [for lack of better words/to put it simply--] So I'm taking that idea and throwing it into this AU as Akutagawa gaining back his passion for skating when he sees the potential in Atsushi even despite his loss at the GPF. Speaking of, the banquet also goes a bit differently-

I figured stripping and pole dancing wasn't really Atsushi's style, I don't know how to explain it so I might doodle it sometime, but I have this old ass screenshot of me talking about this AU to mildly sum it up

And going back to Atsushi's 1st costume being ADA themed, I wanted that to tie into Yuuri's first program being about his career and life, and the love he has for the people who stuck by him through everything. The ADA is kind of a perfect example for that, I mean, Atsushi's entire uniform was given to him by each member so I figured it was a perfect parallel. Although there really isn't a tie between the Beast costume and Yuuri's Eros program though- That was just for fun, in a way.

I also definitely want the ADA itself to act as the hot springs that Yuuri's family runs, but I can't figure out which characters would be which person- I'm ALL ears for any suggestions for that btw, I literally only have sskk decided, everyone else is a toss up-

Ahg, there's so much more I'm forgetting, I'm sure, but I wanted to answer this somehow bc I've been dying to get out my thoughts for this AU

ooo thank you for asking!

so i will say with full confidence that aloe has never been unhinged, feral, upset (in an angry way) ever in his life. it may sound like an exaggeration however i am not joking; this boy has never had a mean or angry bone in his body and he lets bygones be bygones. he’s more likely to cry when he’s upset over anything else and that’s usually because something made him sad.

AMON HOWEVER. complete opposite end of the spectrum. as described in one excerpt “he carries his rage like a second skin” (shameless plug bc i like that description) but it’s extremely true. its always lurking and prowling under his skin. i think there’s (2) times amon has been particularly unhinged—the first is a time when he was younger (probably akin to that drawing i did yesterday where he’s covered in blood) but he’s been in a lot of fights in his life to put it mildly. i can see that being the result of a gang brawl where he downed like twenty dudes. he was snarling and spitting blood and probably got railed after bc he has Problems.

the second is a bit more of a spoiler so under the cut it goes

chapter 23, nicknamed en garde is when amon finally sees the keeper face to mask for the first time. the keeper is decked in all gold and has a GIANT sword like this is boss fight energy; and amon has nothing but a dagger and his fists. this fight is wild like actual dents in the ballroom floor, a window gets broken in the chaos and amon is again in a more feral state. the reason he keeps fighting tho??? he thinks about the time that he saw a bruise on hya’s cheek from where he assumes (and is correct) that the keeper struck him and it fuels his Rage Mode tm.

anyway a VERY TEENY excerpt from feral mode:

“Do you think… you can ssssave him… butler…?” The Keeper’s hissing was like a spit; acid burning through Amon’s chest as one heavy footstep cracked the ground underneath them. “Kill me?” It taunted. “Do you think… you can… sssstand… on the sssssame ground as I…. crush…?” The Keeper swung their heavy sword once more and Amon felt the sharp pull on his wounded side as he leapt out of the way to dodge. He slammed into the ballroom wall, cutting his hands on the broken glass scattered around him. He thought back to that room; that day; where he saw Hyacinthus standing cornered much the same—except there was no empty space where the boogeyman should’ve been. The Keeper finally stopped a few feet from Amon and pointed his golden tipped sword. The blade dripped with blood and metal and stained the ripped opening of Amon’s uniform when it’s tip touched his chest.

Amon glared up into The Keeper’s mask.

A lesser man would’ve said no. A lesser man would’ve cowered and fled, begging for his life. But Amon bared his bloody teeth like a mad dog and growled “Yes.”
