- Plus not even nowadays, people still don't understand how this kind of relationship work and they tend to hate them.
- Nick gets you and Charlie to play rugby, even though Charlie claims to be no good at it, he mainly just hangs around with you on the pitch.
- You and Charlie quit the rugby team very quickly.
- But Nick still likes to watch you two dress up in his rugby jerseys, even if it's for some lame excuse.
"Your shirt wasn't even that dirty, Y/N."
"Yes it was. Charlie split coffee all over it."
"No, I didn't. Shut up."
-Tao and the others were slightly confused on the dynamic of your relationship, but knew there was something more than just being 'friends'.
-Lots and lots of hugging. I mean lots. Nick loves doing a threeway hug with You and Charlie and lifting both of you off the ground. Whereas, Charlie loves being sandwiched between You and Nick.
-Helping Charlie when he has a bad day mentally. He loves being able to cuddle you both, while he rants and talks out his emotions. Poor boy needs a lot of reassurance. If he doesn't feel like talking, You and Nick usually bring Nellie over or go on a walk, talking about everything and anything to distract him from his worries.
- "I'm Bi, actually." is something you and Charlie quote to Nick everyday, and it makes him giggle. It's defo an inside joke with the three of you.
-When Nick is busy at his rugby practice, Charlie sometimes reads to you. When he's not, he always trying to kiss you and make out with you.
-Nick would be jealous to see You and Charlie all over eachother after practice. He would chase you and Charlie around until both of you gave him a kiss.
-Even though Nick and Charlie are out as a couple together, they still secretly hold your hand whenever they could. You and Nick almost got caught once by Darcy.
-And Charlie always kissing you in school nearly got you caught too.
-All of you hang around at Nick's house since it's always private there. All three of you either have deep, heartful conversations, or giggle through your sentences. There is no telling. Let's not forget the steamy making out all three of you do when Nick's mum isn't home.
-Nick's room being covered in photos of You and Charlie. He loves taking photos of you two. His lock screen is You and Charlie cuddling during a nap at his house.
-The two sometimes fight to get your attention.
"Char, let me spoon Y/N."
"But I'm spooning him."
"But you said I could ten minutes ago... Char, are you pretending to be asleep?"
-The three of you always travel together. And they're so so over protective of you.
-They're so jealous too, Charlie more so than Nick (Nick is confident enough to know no one will ever be him) but since Charlie is always worried that he's not good enough, expect him to be throwing glares left, right, and centre. Pls hug Charlie.
- Charlie is more opened to PDA (private display of affection), so he's always hugging and kissing You and Nick when he's close. It makes the two boys a bit sad when you're all in public, and they can't hold your hand or anything. They want too so badly, but they don't want you to get harrassed.
-Cuddling is very.. tangled. Charlie loves being spooned, and Nick loves spooning but Charlie moves alot in his sleep. It's like once a week, one of you three is pushed off the bed.
-Also Nick is literally a human radiator, so he's usually in the middle on cold nights.
-Nick is usually the calm one, however, he loves the chaotic energy You and Charlie brings to his life.
-Tao getting suspious when he walked onto the rugby pitch to see You and Charlie holding hands on the bleachers, and the flirty waves you gave Nick.
-Eventually, You three decide to tell Tao and the others. They're all super supportive and it's adorable.
-Especially Darcy (IMO).
-They both love sharing clothes with you. It gets to the point where you're not sure who owns what piece of clothing anymore. They've a little game going on. Whose hoddies do you use the most? Nick or Charlie.
- They are both gentlemen, but they’re competitive about it.

Plot: Just something sweet and short for comfort. This is the first time that came to mind.
This sucks so I apologize.
Warnings: Transphobic people & comments, Comfort, kisses & hugs, really short.

It wasn’t the fist time they had seen you like this and they hated to admit but, it probably wouldn’t be the last. They had no choice but to watch you from afar in class while fiddling with your clothes and moving in the chair. They could always tell when you felt sad or uncomfortable. They had known you for a year since you transferred to their school and only welcomed you to the relationship just a few mouths ago. That didn’t stop them from knowing so much about you.
When you got to nicks house you were pulled in immediately and rushed up the stairs by the boys, nothing to explain their actions. The door was opened to his room and you were confused but also happy, “What’s this about?” A second after speaking you were pulled into a hug by Nick and he crushed you, charlie joined and rested his head on your shoulder.
It was nice to have them hold you after a horrible day but this was unexpected. “Did something happen.” You mumble between them. “We just noticed how today was for you.” They pulled away, nothing but love in their eyes making you want to melt.
Looking away like you had been caught you sighed, “I was fine.” You could tell they gave you a look but you didn’t care. Nick groaned and pulled you again over to the bed and sat down only to pull you down, making you lay down and rest your head into his lap. Charlie followed and lay down beside you.
“Guys, I’m fine.” Of course you were lying but you didn’t want to worry them or talk about it. But knowing your partners they wouldn’t take it. Charlie reached for your hand and held it in his, “I know that lie well.” He admitted and leaned on his other hand.
Nick reached his hand down and pushed the hair away from your forehead and you looked up at him. He looked soft at first then a few seconds you could see the anger rise. “Did someone say something?” His tone lowered and his face scrunched up and you almost chuckled because he looked like a angry puppy.
“No, Nick. Today I just…” you stopped and took a deep breath feeling the weight in your chest get heavier. “Hated my body.” It was like some relief left your chest but then added more.
“Oh, hunny” Charlie sat up and had a sad pout. Nick continue to play with your hair and give you a smile. “You look as handsome as always.” He leaned down and kisses your forehead. “It’s hard being in a body you don’t want but we are here to help.”
“We love you all the same.” You chuckled and smile when charlie started to kiss all around your face and looked like a chicken pecking at food. You tried to playfully push him away but Nick took your hands and held you still, you yelled at him for being a trader but he just laughed and joined in on smothering you with kisses.

You told Charlie about your struggles with mental health and self harm, unknowing to his own struggles with those topics. That poor boy was all about others before himself, something you knew was a bit of a problem.
You'd been friends with Charlie since 7th year, but were never close to Tao, Elle, or Isaac, or even Nick for that matter, considering you barely knew them and never had classes with them either.
You sit on the cold, hard tile in your bathroom, waiting for Charlie. You frantically texted him earlier once you realized what you'd done to yourself, and he quickly sent back a text that he was on his way over.
That was twenty minutes ago.
You knew you could count on Charlie, seemingly your only friend, but Christ, he walked so utterly slow.
It made you rethink all your choices before, and why you did it. Jesus, you were just being dramatic, nothing was that serious. Nothing is ever that serious for you to hurt yourself, you're just being dramatic about it now.
The feeling of pressing the razor blade to your skin wasn't even relieving, nor did it feel anywhere near good anymore. It hurt, really bad, all the way through, as you hoped your body would numb up but it never did. You were supposed to be clean.
But now your wrists are still dripping blood onto the tile below, creating fine, slightly transparent pools of crimson that'd stain the tile. You were too scared and in too much pain to do anything, just begging and waiting to hear your parents welcome him in and for him to open the door next to you.
Finally, you heard it. The door opening, your parents welcoming him with a bit of question as it was seven on a Saturday, then the footsteps walking down the hall, then the knock at the door. It was light and repetitive, like there was some super secret code and you couldn't let him in otherwise.
You lightly smile at that, and pull down on the door handle, cracking it open. You scoot over on the floor, not trying to sit in your blood. His eyes immediately widen as he pushes the door open, in response to the shock he quickly enters the room and shuts and locks the door behind him.
"This is definitely worse than what you said" He comments with concern.
Adrenaline is still streaming through your veins as you shrug. "Mostly just the blood. Help me, please"
He nods, helping you up to your feet so you could sit on the countertop next to the sink. Thank God freestanding sinks weren't trendy anymore, he couldn't bend down any longer, he needed you above him for this, it made everything much easier.
He quickly grabs a washcloth and soaks it in cold water, and wipes up all the blood off the floor while he instructs you to just hold the wounds over the sink so anything dripping out would go down the drain. They hurt immensely but you pull through without crying in front of him.
He sneaks into the hallway to grab the first aid kit and sets it down, looking for gauze. He hands you two lukewarm washcloths, clean ones, and rests them over your arms, soaking up any leftover blood in a comforting manner. He finds the gauze and some tiny scissors, and removes one washcloth, and gets to work on wrapping the gauze and then the bandage around it.
"Sorry for making you come over so late for this" You mumble.
He raises an eyebrow before he answers. "It's not that big of a deal"
You wanted to fight with him on that, but you were much too tired and it wasn't worth it anyways.
He wraps up your arms, and looks up at you, his hands gently holding yours. "Why didn't you tell me before?"
You shrug, "I was clean. It just kinda happened, I guess"
he introduces you to his friends as well because you seem very lonely in and out of school
after that, you're spending a lot more time together, going out to eat, adventures, doing fun things, etc
always checking in on you
you eventually find out about his sh and you become sh buddies (name by you)

Can somebody please write heartstopper fic where f!reader and Charlie are both dating Nick and the two of them are just best friends (because Charlie is gay duh). So it’s a poly relationship but not exactly a throuple by definition. Reblog and if you do end up writing some, please tag me in it :D
Edit: so apparently that kind of relationship is called a “V” which makes sense. Nick would be referred to as “the hinge” in this relationship. Funny enough I’ve been the hinge before so this is cool new info. Thanks @feral-cockroach !

Rumors spread like wildfire, especially the mysterious spraypaint artist struck once again.
Male character x male reader.

Staff members gesture first years away from the scene while other students took photos of the newfound mural. The colorful mural sat on the side of the gym "Move along!" teachers call as a swarm of students moves along.
You grin down at your phone as your piece of work blows up "Hey, Y/N over here!" Isaac your library Buddie waves you over to a nearby shelf. "We're are meant to be devoted librarians, not screen zombies" you hobble on the heels of your shoes "Sorry Isaac just a little distracted".
Reorganizing books gave you some form of peace whenever Harry acts like a total twit...let's just say you're his younger brother. Your navy blue phone rings "It's Harry" Isaac looks at your screen. "Thanks, Isaac" you pick up your phone from the table "I'll be right back" Isaac hums.
"What do you want?" Harry groans from the other side of the phone "I just want to know are you stopping by Lunas on the way home". Ugh, Luna smith Harry's little crush "Harry just ask her out!" Harry starts ranting, and for the truth, if he wasn't your brother you would have hung up "Are you done?". Silences that's all you need "Okay, she'll be at your party so just ask her out and stop annoying me!".
End of the call "What a fucking nutta" you took advantage of the little phone call and checked out social media with a grin. "Did you know Y/N gay" you froze once you hear two first-years whisper to each other "I know..." you don't even allow him to finish his sentence for the fear of a certain slur coming out of his mouth. You spin around to face the back of these two first years "WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT!" the two boys freeze "ANSWER ME!" and of course, they run away.
You felt panic riddle your spine 'it was just a stupid game of spin the bottle' you thought. You practically thrust your bag over your shoulder "Y/N's are you Okay?" you nod and breathed out a yeah and made your leave. "Wait, what about your library duties?" Isaac calls out instead of chasing you "I've to leave".
The sound clicking of you typing for your mother to pick you up while the voice of Harry your older brother kept on playing repeat. "Hey!, Springs is a fag " you felt scared for these were rumors and you didn't know how long they'd been around. Harry's one of the biggest bullies and his your big brother which makes it worst even though you're both a few months apart doesn't mean anything for his still the oldest. Whilst speed walking down the hall you round the corner a little too fast and collided with a fellow student.
"Ah shit, I'm so sorry I was just in a rush and-" Charlie tunes out your rumbling and watches you collect the fallen items. He stares at your lips and how they moved as you ramble on and on "Here!" you present his things to him "Oh, uh...thanks". "Again I'm sorry for uh.." you gesture to the corner and him along with his things "This?...yeah this" you help the curly-haired boy up.
You give him a pat on the shoulder and dash off in a hurry "Bye" Charlie replies to no one.
Wireless headphones in you blast music as you sat in the back as your mother tries to get your attention "Honey!" she lightly taps your knee when she stops at a red light. You remove your headphones the moment you saw her worried eyes "What's wrong? are you going to talk to me or are you gonna leave me in the dark?".
You hum in sync with your shrug "What's bothering you honey and BE honest with me". You hate how she sees through you but then yet again you are just like her in a way "Rumors" she hums and returns to paying attention to the road ahead of her. "I figured, your sitting in the back ignoring your dear old mummy" you groan and flick your eyes to the passing blurs outside your window.
"What kind of rumors?" you place your forehead on the window and sighed so loud it was obnoxious "Did I overreact by texting you?". Your mother shook her head "Don't change the subject and I don't know" you honestly wish Harry wouldn't say anything but your phone says otherwise. "Rumors spreading of me being gay" your mother falls silent and you didn't want this silence and you don't want your phone to make so much noise.
"Well is it a bad thing?" now it's your turn to fall silent "These rumors just states what you fear to be true" if your could you would jump out of the car but you can't. "What are you talking about?" your mother laughs "Now, do you really believe I wouldn't notice something different". "I...I don't know what your talking about" your mothers swats her free hand and giggles like some high school girl which makes you pout "MUM!".
You lift yourself from your leaning position and stare at her "Me and your father notice how different you act with certain boys and girls". You made a noise "And no you are not gay for I know you still like girls and no I know you aren't bisexual, while your father thinks otherwise but you know" you didn't want to talk about these things. Your vision becomes blurry "Hun? are you-" her reflection of her eyes in the review mirror sees you and she heard a small sniffle. "Oh, Honey please don't cry or I'm gonna cry" you tempted to wipe your tears away but nothing happened "I'm sorry Ma" oh great voice cracked.
The night of the party you didn't want to attend Harry's sixteenth birthday at all but your father convinced you and now here you sat with a red plastic cup that you see in movies. Texting your library buddy and friend Isaac Henderson "I've never been bored in my entire life before until now" you whisper your text message before clicking send. The three bubbles appear, signaling his replying "Can't he type faster...please?" you mutter, but the loud music breaks it up into a faint wordless sigh.
The spot next to you sink underneath someone's weight "uh...Hey" an unfamiliar voice says so you swive your attention to the curly-haired boy. The guy you ram into "Hey, corner ramp and I'm truly sorry for bumping into you really" he waves a hand at you "Oh, no need to worry I'm fine". Silence fell over you two and if it wasn't for your phone dinging then you would have felt stupid.
"Your friends with Isaac?" you look at this year ten in the eyes and nod "Well...uh we're more than library buddies" you made him chuckle. "He talks about you and half of the things he says...I don't know if it is true" oh because of Harry "Because of Harry, nope I'm better than him. I promise, here we'll picky swear just to seal the deal".
Timidly he reaches out and sticks out his picky and you do the same "I picky swear I'm nothing like my knob of a brother and you...are Charlie?." Charlie nods. "Charlie now knows half of the stuff Isaac had said is indeed true" you give his picky a little squeeze with the help of your own picky which seals the deal.
Nelson appeared and sat beside Charlie "Charlie and wow why are you talking to him?" Charlie immediately shakes his head. "Oh, no I'm fine, and he is my friend?" Charlie looks at you which made you nod repeatedly.
That night you have grown close to the two which lead to you absently mindedly forgetting what your brother was to you.
"So it's true" you frown at Harry's words while staring at the bowl of cereal "What?". Harry rolls his eyes as if your SUPPOSE to know "You and little Charlie" you grow even more confused and somewhat angry "Charlies my friend". "Well, you better tell him that, it's obvious the rumors aren't true" Harry gestures to you.
"What do you know about friendship" Harry shoots you a look like it was a warning "I'm just saying, mate it's obvious Charlie has feelings for you". 'Why would he assume that? and why is he telling me to dump my only valid and accurate friend?' you thought "You can't say much". "Some of your mates are jerks and their only friends with you because of your money" Harry scoffs "And Charlie's friends with you because he thinks you're a fag like h-".
You didn't allow him to finish his sentence instead you project your breakfast in his face. The whole event replayed in your head: milk and cornflakes drenched your older brother who replied with a left hook. You've never fought your brother before and your parents knew but the yelling of both parties lead to them pealing you off of Harry.
You sat in the library with your headphones full blast and a book overshadowing your face. Two shadows overcast you with concern and with a little tap of Nick's shoe you would have thought it was an illusion at play.
They sat on either side of you on the floor of the library, here you are stuck in the middle, Charlie removes your headphones. "Everyone can hear your music, not gonna lair that's a bit embarrassing" Charlie tries to make you smile or at least chuckle but nothing. Charlie looks at Nick for help so the freckle-infest boy slowly and gently removes the book from the silent boy's face.
Charlie gasps and Nick blinks "I...what happened?" Nick was the first to talk as Charlie scoots a little closer. Nick follows "I'm sorry I didn't mean to lie" both of the boys frowns "what do you mean?".
"About us" Nick makes an 'oh' noise as Charlie finally reaches for your hand "Harry just...I'm sorry".
"Okay, you both have to stop with the s-word," Nick says which made you chuckle, "you think so Nicky". "Your older brother is a knob nothing else, let us be honest he has nothing on you" Nick quips Charlie nods in agreement.
Once again the same scene played out, teachers ushering students away and flashes of phones. Swarm of students waltzing around or being ushered away "I like this piece" Isaac says as you grin. "Of course, three souls made into one" Henderson smiles "You deserve this win, C'mon I'm hungry" you made an 'oh yeah' noise before following after him.
Three skeleton males can be seen holding each other in an embrace of colors and the backdrop of a cotton candy color.

Although they’re the sweetest boys in the entire world, they get jealous as hell!!
Charlie’s jealousy comes from his insecurities about not being good enough for you and Nick. While Nick is just jealous at someone who even dares throw you or Charlie a suggestive look/touch. You both are his boyfriends!!.
Nick is the type of jealous that gets really quiet and pretend that it’s all fine, until he’s pushed too far. Where as Charlie, is a full on ‘stop or die’ type of jealousy.
The jealousy is bad especially since you’re not out as poly to anyone (expect your friends) and everyone assumes your single.
Nick and Charlie didn’t even realise how many people would flirt//try to get with you. The two are often asked if you’re single.
“No.” Charlie growled back at the random Year 11, who had came up to him and nick and asked if you were single. While Nick stood with his arms crossed, giving the Year 11 a death glare.
Another example would be at lunch.
The three of you sat in the art room, laughing and joking around (even sneaking a kiss or two) when a knock came on the door. All three of you jumped back to look and see it was a Year 10 named Adam, smiling, and asking if he could speak to you in private.
You all shared confused looks before you followed the year 10 out.
Nick and Charlie were leaning against the door, trying to listen to the whispered conversation between you and Adam.
They quickly run back to their spots when they noticed you coming back.
Charlie fell over a table in the process.
When you come back in, you sat back in your spot and continued eating, while they stared at you.
“What?”
“What did he want?” Nick asked, trying to keep his tone of voice cool and calm.
“He asked me to go on a date, to see that new horror movie tomorrow night.”
“And you said?”
“I said yes.”
Charlie and Nick looked at eachother in shock. Charlie could feel his body starting to shake while Nicks entire face went red. It wasn’t until you started laughing that they realised you had been joking.
“Y/N! Don’t do that.” Charlie laughed as he tackled you back onto the table and began tickling you for making them nervous. Nick breathed a sigh of relief out before joining in with Charlie to punish you for making them worry.
From then on, the two were a little more affectionate in person. Charlie held your hand more. Nick played with your hair. The two were all over you, especially when they noticed someone staring at you.
One time Nick even squeezed your butt at your locker and another time Charlie ‘accidentally’ left a hickey on your neck after rugby practice.
And that’s when rumours of your relationship spread throughout the school.
Nick and Charlie couldn’t of been happier, finally letting everyone know you were their boyfriend.

✦ you and charlie ended up paying for an extra few more gallon fulls of diet lemonade just because you two felt bad .

Your performance consisted of a multitude of flips and tricks, none of which your friends could remember the names to. You stand anxiously in your way-to-tight outfit, mentally preparing yourself, repeating your performance over and over again in your head. A yellow, plastic card is pinned to your top, a large 107 in bold printed onto it.
You feel your knees grow a little weak, nerves hitting you like you were a victim of the Mean Girls bus scene. You look at the person behind you, having known them enough to talk to them for motivation and about your gymnastics abilities. They give you a light smile to communicate good luck.
"107!" The announcer exclaims over the loudspeaker.
You quickly step forward, walking yourself to the white line where you to start.
"Shit, shit, shit" You think, praying and hoping you wouldn't mess this up in front of so many people after weeks of training.
You listen the the announcer introduce your name and the gym you attend, seeing the judges get a good look at you. Then you hear cheering.
You look up at the stands, seeing, and definitely hearing, your friends. Charlie, Nick, and Isaac sit in the second to last bench, with Tao, Elle, Tara, and Darcy behind them. Nick and Tao are definitely the loudest, considering they'd been blessed with strong vocal chords. The others, nearly just as loud, cheer along, waving to you with smiles.
Their cheeks are painted with rainbow stripes in support of you, Darcy even had some rainbow hairclips to push her fringe away from her face. You smile and face forward, taking a quick breath before you hear your feet pound on the floor below, racing you toward the large landing mats.
One flip, then two and three, and many more, they nearly make you nauseous due to the blood swarming in your head. You feel a bit lightheaded as you successfully land on your feet, hands raised above your head. You mentally thank whatever force was out there that stopped you from landing straight on your face, saving you from pain and embarrassment.
"Go Y/n!"
"Good job!"
"Do it again!"
You shyly smile and wave to them, having been told prior not to interact with the audience to not seem like you had an ego. You retrieve to the sidelines with the other competitors, watching the judges write some notes down before they call the next person in line.
"Does the one judges thing say 5? They did great!"
"That's bullshit"
"We should get milkshakes after this"
"Tao?"
"How did you even do that? I'd literally puke" Tao laughs, standing in the open, uncut grass with you.
You both finished your milkshakes first, your friends sharing a picnic table a few feet away, slurping away at theirs.
