i like reading physical books because i get less distracted

and this is a weird thing but the physical place of where certain words are on the page helps me remember things bc i have shitty memory

but if its a book i dont like *cough* i am not your perfect mexican daughter *cough* then ill get distracted either way cuz its boring as hell :\ (it was slightly entertaining to read the annotations bc i had a used copy... but also the persons handwriting was completely illegible...)

and i really love sbl and want a physical copy of it cuz comics on kindle kinda suck bc its really annoying to not be able to zoom in normally (you can either read page by page or panel by panel. page by page makes the text too small but panel by panel messes with the formatting and panel breaks)

i didnt know that dolphins had eyelids...

i mean i guess it makes sense cuz theyre like. not fish. and they wouldve needed eyelids on land and then i guess they became vestigial. unless they actually serve a purpose idk :P

my oldest book that i bought/parent bought for me that i still have is the last of the wild unicorns which i think is from like. fourth or fifth grade :P

but the oldest books on my shelf are my dads set of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy which are like... probably older than me... (really sad bc theyre paperbacks n kinda falling apart and my brother borrowed the first book for a school project and when he gave it back the front cover was torn off TwT)

actually wait

the last of the wild unicorns mightve been a birthday gift

and the serafina series and miraculous were as well but idk if those were the same birthday or not :P

cuz i think its fairly obvious that i like calicos...

for breed id say ragdoll cuz one of my cats is part ragdoll and shes chill with just like. dangling her lil paws in the air when you pick her up (the name ragdoll is very on the nose) :P

my parents old cat was a maine coon i think and he was pretty silly (he was very shy bc when i was younger id pull his tail so he didnt like me very much) my parents joke that gingers like, his reincarnation bc theyre both longhaired orange tabbies :P

yo…. when jet breaks in the tea shop and accuses zuko and iroh of beinh firebenders….

do you think any of the patrons looked at zukos scarred face - obviously done by a firebender - and immediately think jet was an asshole? like

jet: hes a firebender!!!!

patrons, thinking about the backstory they concocted for zuko and iroh where their home was invaded by firebenders and they barely survived with their lifes so they could come and have a peaceful life selling tea in a city the war doesnt touch:
