I am here to talk about Golden Cage Au Avery, cause I love him!
It’s early on the same, meeting Avery, going on dates as his love slowly blooms. Dancing, dining, wining, socializing, having you as his perfect arm candy. Then, he starts to get more generous. Jewelry, clothes, higher checks, refurnished your room, anything and everything you want he gets. But you better wear them
Then, he starts monopolizing your time, always waiting for you after school, picking you up before school, getting breakfast Sunday mornings, eventually melts into him giving you an internship under him, specifically! He buys you a uniform (which is more form fitting than a business attire should be) and has you do simple things. Bring him coffee, file paperwork, make copies. Keep him entertained.
Eventually he has you do online classes so you can work for him more, with better money! And a new cell phone to go with the new job, since you’re now his assistant/secretary He’s secretly put a tracker on your phone and he can see anything and everything you do on it. Sometimes he even turns on the camera and watches you as you read texts from him! He likes to know what makes you blush.
Avery is smart, he doesn’t do this all at once, he slowly builds up his control. It will take months before he has you firmly in his home, never leaving unless with him. He’s now paying your debt to Bailey, even pays Robin’s if it keeps you quiet and submissive. You don’t even realize it until someone from school sees you and asks where you’ve been!
You’ve basically been missing for a few weeks now, Sydney, and Robin have been looking for you! You are so surprised, it hasn’t been that long has it? You go out all the time! You go to church on Sundays with Avery, you go to the markets during the weekends with Avery, you have quaint little dates at Sam’s with Avery. Always with Avery.
This is where you start to notice the chains. Your life is so scheduled by Avery if you are five minutes late from a bathroom break Avery is checking on you. When’s the last time you’ve showered by yourself? Or gone out alone? Avery says it’s dangerous though, and…he’s not wrong
Whenever you get the go ahead from Avery to do something alone, which you don’t think is fair having to ask, something bad happens. You get beaten up, attacked, robbed, ect. And somehow Avery always comes and finds you, huddled in a corner crying as the new clothes he just bought you have been torn away and stained
Avery is always so gentle afterwards, saying how he should have been there to protect you as he carries you back to the car. He carefully cleans you up, and kisses your forehead while you cry into his shoulder. Maybe you should just stay with him, safe.
Avery is safe after all, he only punishes you when you misbehave after all.

True Colors
Mustard has you and Avery to work together for a trial. You guys end up seeing new sides of each other.
Hope someone reads this and enjoys💖
Tumblr media
You came to the Isle of Armor for reasons that you kept personal to you. Well, actually, your brother forced you to come here thinking it would help improve your confidence.
He trained with Mustard, so he figured the older man could help you as well.
Your partner pokémon was Sylveon, who's been with you since forever. He was your very first pokémon, and was the closest thing you had to a friend. So, when you arrived at the Isle, you expected to only hang out with Sylveon.
You never expected to make so many friends.
However, as you bonded with your fellow trainers, you failed to make friends with a star student of the class. Avery seemed very determined to stay belligerent with you, keeping his distance and making snarky remarks whenever possible. People described him as a bit of a bully, and you could see why. He definitely used those physic powers to his advantage.
Still, whenever you were confronted by him, you acted with kindness. It’s just who you were, and it seemed to baffle him every time.
Avery just didn’t understand you.
One day, Mustard decided to pair people up for another trial. You were paired up with Avery, being told by Mustard that you were probably the only one of his students who could put up with him. Still, the older man added that you were also probably the only one who could cause Avery to break down his walls a bit.
You were still pondering what he was talking about.
The challenge was to catch a rare and strong pokémon. Obviously, Mustard had something in mind already, and your job was to figure out what that was. Other teams have already ventured out into the wetlands as you waited for Avery with Sylveon on your shoulder.
“Seriously, what is he doing?” You asked your partner, who merely squeaked in response.
Eventually, Avery did show up, but he was dressed differently from his usual taste. He was wearing the dojo’s signature uniform, top hat gone, and his beautiful blonde locks were tied up in a high ponytail. It was clear to see that he has been working out. His gorgeous blue eyes were still hidden behind his frames, a necessity for him. The new outfit on him almost made Avery look approachable.
Handsome.
You shook your head with a blush at those words, Sylveon swatting you slightly with his ribbons. Without so much as a hello, Avery walked past you and used his physic powers to pick up his pack of supplies.
“What are you gawking at? We need to move.” Avery’s frustrated tone caught you out of your daze as he flung the pack over his shoulder. You quickly snatched up your own before following him into the wetlands.
You’ve been walking for what felt like hours with the hot sun beating down on you. Avery took the lead, walking ahead of you at a pace that you struggled to keep up with. The pack started to feel like a bundle of iron weights on your back, the sun making it ten times worse. Eventually, you began to slow down.
Normally, you’d have your Lucario come out and help you, but she didn’t like Avery much, so that was a no go.
The sun had practically melted your mind, so you almost didn’t notice when your pack was suddenly removed from your back. Perking up, you noticed Avery keeping pace with you as he lugged your bag of things onto his other shoulder. You felt flattered for some reason. Even though there was sweat dripping down his face from his own baggage, he decided to take yours as well.
“Thank you...” You said quietly, and Avery seemed taken aback from the gratitude. He widened his eyes only slightly, getting a bit flustered, before huffing and looking away with a frown.
You guessed the redness on his cheeks was from the sun.
“I can’t have you slowing us down.” He mumbled, but you still felt grateful despite the snarky comment. Whether it was from the extra weight or something else entirely, Avery stuck by your side now.
Soon, rain began to fall.
Now you and Avery were huddled together under a small tree to keep dry. The two of you were practically shoulder to shoulder, with him being taller than you. He also looked less than thrilled about the situation.
“How are we supposed to complete the trial in this? My foresight didn’t predict this.” He muttered.
“I find the rain kind of relaxing...” You said, taking in a deep breath of the moistened earth. Avery scoffed slightly.
“You would think that.” He retorted to you, and all you could do was smile. You had nothing to refute that with. Avery soon crossed his arms and stared off into the foggy forest.
“Why did you even come here?” Avery soon asked you, his voice a tone of irritation rather than curiosity. But you were just glad he was willing to make conversation.
“Well...my brother forced me.” You said with a nervous chuckle.
“Hmm...I see.” You realized that was Avery’s prompt in asking you to continue. He was definitely smarter than some people gave him credit for, if he was able to determine that there was more to your story. That, or he really didn’t care.
But you just gripped your pants in a nervous manner, which he took notice of immediately.
“My brother forced me to come here because he believed it was best for me. After my ex-boyfriend used me...than cheated on me...I had a rather low self-esteem. Not only that, but I was being picked on because of said actions. I felt so stupid...my brother could tell I needed a confidence booster, and he felt this was a safe option for me...” You explained, and you dared to glance at Avery.
He looked so horrified.
“I’m...I’m sorry...I had no idea. About the way I treated you...I’m sorry...no one deserves that...I should’ve acted more like a gentleman...” Avery stumbled over his words, clearly not used to apologizing. But you just smiled and waved him off.
“No worries. It’s all in the past and I’m doing much better now. Plus, I would much rather get picked on by you than those other people any day.” You told him, and Avery didn’t really know how to respond to that.
But you saw him get flustered slightly.
“So...why did you come here?” You wanted to change the subject, and you were ready for Avery to deny that knowledge to you. But instead, he just took a deep breath.
“I’m here to get stronger...and prove myself to my family. You see, I come from a long line of physics that run the gym here in Galar. Thus, I was destined to lead the gym before I was even born...but...my powers are only adequate.” As Avery said this, he used his talents to stop some of the raindrops. They glimmered slightly in their physic state before Avery let them plop onto the ground, watching them with disappointment.
“I think your powers are extraordinary!” You praised him, and he reacted the same as earlier when he held your things for you. He looked surprised before looking away with a fluster.
“Extraordinary to you...but an embarrassment to my extraordinary family...” He mumbled, and you took a risk. You placed a hand on his shoulder, making him tense up slightly.
“If that’s what they think...then you deserve better.” You told him with a smile. It took Avery a while, but he eventually moved his hand to rest over yours, smiling back.
“So do you...” He said in reference to your ex. His actions caused you to blush as this was a side of him you’ve never seen before. However, eventually the rain let up slightly, breaking up the moment and allowing you guys to go searching again.
But then night soon fell.
You and Avery made camp out in the forest, allowing your pokémon out of their balls to roam around a bit before getting into your tents. You expected dinner to be full of tension and perhaps some bitterness from Avery. However, he acted like a total gentleman, helping you whenever possible.
Who was this man? This wasn’t Avery.
You were beginning to realize that you had a crush on this man, despite the dislike he held with you. As you guys went to your respective tents for the night, you didn’t know how you were going to fall asleep with this knowledge on your mind. But you soon did, with Sylveon snoozing beside you.
Then came the thunderstorm.
Apparently, that break in the rain was the calm before the storm. You awoke abruptly, fear squeezing in your chest as a struck of thunder came. Sylveon was still sleeping, but you couldn’t help but feel afraid. You didn’t know why, but you always had a slight fear of thunderstorms. Normally, you’d release your other pokémon to help you calm down, but you couldn’t do that in a tent.
You don’t know what compelled you to, but you quickly snatched up Sylveon and your things before going over to Avery’s tent. As expected, he was in a daze when you suddenly barged into his personal space.
“Y/N? Why are you in...my tent?” Upon realizing that, he blushed profusely.
“I...I’m afraid of the storm...can I stay with you?” You hated that you even had to ask him. This should be something that you could handle on your own. However, you almost didn’t hear his answer. You were distracted by how adorable he looked sleepy without his glasses.
“You’re afraid of thunderstorms?” He asked you in surprise. After nodding, you expected mockery. However, he just shuffled over a bit to make room for you.
“It’s okay to be scared, I understand...I’m certainly in pyshock though...” He grinned a bit when you giggled at his pun. However, you thanked him quickly before allowing Sylveon to curl up against you as you laid down. You could hear Avery shuffle as well, and you tried to focus on sleep instead of the handsome man who laid less than a foot away from you.
Soon, a beautiful morning came with the sun shining down on the rain-covered plants.
You woke up first, seeing Sylveon curled away from you. Turning over, you almost laughed when you saw Avery. Everything about what you witnessed was an opposite to how he portrayed himself. His hair was a mess (still in a ponytail), and an arm was over his eyes as he snored cutely.
He looked just like a boy.
However, your staring must have woken him, because you soon made eye contact with his blue irises. Avery nearly shot up when he realized that you were still in here.
“Umm...good morning?” His usual cocky nature was replaced by a timid one as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“Good morning. Thank you again for letting me stay. It was a big help.” You informed him with a bright smile, making him look even more flustered.
“Don’t mention it...” He mumbled, looking away again. Eventually, you slipped out as he placed his glasses on his face physic style. With a new day, you guys decided to spend all the time looking for that strong pokémon. However, it was clear that Avery had changed as he was much more kind and helpful with you. Not to mention how nervous he seemed.
Perhaps you changed as well.
Soon evening came, and you guys have found nothing. The two of you were disappointed, but no one blamed it on the other. Eventually, you guys were making your way back to the dojo as the setting sun cast a golden glow over the land.
“Well...we didn’t find any strong-looking pokémon, but I still think I found something worth treasuring...” Avery’s voice startled you, mostly because you expected him to be too downtrodden to talk. But before you could ask what he meant, you felt Avery’s hand brush against your own. You thought it was an accident, until he did it again.
And again.
Then you did it.
Finally, he found the courage to grab your hand in his and didn’t let go.
Blushing, you looked up to see he was looking away from you again. But this time, he had a faint smile on his lips. The way he was treating you held the answer to your earlier unsaid question.
You. You were worth treasuring.
As you guys walked back, still hand-in-hand, you came to a realization as well. Avery was not the stuck-up guy that your fellow trainers told you he was. He just had such high walls put up around him for protection purposes as he always thought he had to prove himself.
Guess you were the one he finally felt comfortable enough to show his true colors to.
Upon walking inside, you guys noticed the other pairs were equally downtrodden, but they all had pokémon with them. However, Mustard just look disappointed until he spotted you two.
“Y/N! Avery! What did you bring?” He asked excitedly. However, you just looked down.
“Nothing...we found no pokémon fitting your description.” You told him, and he beamed.
“Exactly! You passed the trial!” He exclaimed, causing everyone to look baffled.
“H-Huh?!” Avery was just beyond confused as were you. Mustard then explained how you both obediently followed his words, trying your best to follow the description to a tee instead of just scrapping by.
“Not only that...but I see you both have found something far more important than some imaginary pokémon...” Mustard whispered to you both with a smirk, glancing down at your intertwined fingers.
You and Avery blushed but didn’t let go of each other’s hands as you flashed shy smiles at each other.
“Honey! Put some soup on for our winners! They’ve earned it!” He said while giving you both a wink. You and Avery continued to look overwhelmed by his words, but eventually the physic just confidently brought you into the kitchen with him.
There was the Avery you knew.
You understood that you both had a lot to explore with each other, but you knew that Avery was worth the time. It took an ex, your brother, Mustard, and a storm to prove that.
Screw the people in your guys' lives that made it hell. Now the two of you had each other, and you were glad you finally got to see the real Avery.
Don't worry, he'll take you on a real date soon.

Avery - “Wow...you're easy to rile up.”:
You placed your hand over Avery's crotch, feeling his cock twitch in your hand. You chuckled, your mouth kissing his jawline and he whimpered under your touch, his had falling off and glasses sliding down his nose.
"Wow...you're easy to rile up." You murmured against his skin as your hands fished out his cock from his pants. Avery groaned as your warm hand wrapped around his throbbing erection and his hand slid down, lifting the end of his shirt up so he could watch you play with him.
"F-fuck your hand feels so good. Use your mouth, please." He tried commanding you but your grip on his cock got tighter and he whimpered at the sensation. He hadn't expected the rough treatment, but he wasn't going to dent that he liked it.
"I'm the one in charge. Now be a good boy and keep it down. We don't need anyone in the dojo hearing us in the changing room, right?" You asked, sliding your finger over the tip of his cock to collect the precum there.

Isle Connections Ch2 Arriving At The Dojo
Tumblr media
You were jostled awake by the loud familiar cawing of a corviknight and the rocking of the taxi throwing your body to the left as the taxi descended through the air.  Obviously about to land soon. You've experienced this feeling before many times. You groaned and reached a hand up to rub your face as Silver yawned loudly from his spot lazily slumped over on the seat next to you.
"Good mornin'!" Gloria happily chirped across from you. She was already awake and seemed to be chewing on one of those bland trail mix bars for breakfast. "I was gonna wake ye up but I guess the taxi already did it."
You groaned. "Don't remind me. What time is it?"
"Jus' turned eight thirty. We're 'bout ta land at the Armor station, then it's just a quick trip ta the dojo."
"Dojo?"
She nodded. "Mr. Mustard runs a dojo on the island with his family. Lee said that's where we'll need ta go from the station."
Ah. That made more sense. You supposed it'd be a good start to introduce yourself to the people running the island but still...all of this seemed very familiar to you. Huh. Oh well. You didn't question your deja vu feelings right now and just opted for grabbing your bag as the taxi jostled to a rough stop nearly sending you flying across the taxi cab and ramming into Gloria. You swore you were never going to get used to that. At least you were on solid ground now. Gloria was the first one bursting out of the taxi with you following behind with Silver following lazily at your feet. Next to you was a station alright. Looked so much like the train station back in Postwick. You thanked the cab driver before following after Gloria into the station. Inside she excitedly looked at you with a bright smile.
"I can't wait ta start explorin' this place!"
"Well we should check into the dojo first and let everyone know we arrived." You both didn't see the man rushing towards you both until he knocked into your shoulder making you bump into Gloria. "What the heck? Hey!" You both snapped around to the nervous man. "You ok there buddy?"
"S-Sorry! I'm just trying not to get in trouble," he apologized.
"Huh?"
"I-Im supposed to join the dojo on this island today, but  there's a strange person standing outside the station, and I'm a bit scared to head out."
You and Gloria exchanged looks. All of a sudden the man looked behind you both before gaining a fearful expression and turning to dash out of the station as a pink haired woman walked in behind you both.
"Aha! There you are!" You both jumped and whirled behind you both coming face to face with a slightly annoyed pink haired woman who was looking past you both at the nervous looking man. "Right on time too! You're pretty punctual for a guy." The man took one look at the cute cotton candy haired woman and bolted out of the back of the station where you both entered.  "HEY WAIT!! I'M SUPPOSED TO GUIDE YOU YOUR JERK!!" Her cheeks puffed out and you both just...stared at her in her strange attire. She must've felt eyes on her because her head turned to stare at you both before blinking. "Hmm...You look familiar. Hey. Have we met before or something? Oh I guess it doesn't matter." She waved her hand.
"Uh..." You looked at Gloria who just shrugged in confusion. "I'm sorry. Who are you?"
"Oh how silly of me." She smiled sweetly but there was an underlying venom to it that had you raising a brow. "I'm Kara! I've been at the dojo for a while so they sent me to help out the newbie. Hmph. But he ran away before I could talk to him. How rude!"
"Oh. Well I'm Y/n and this is Gloria." You gestured to Gloria. "She's here to join the dojo too."
"Oh!" That venomous sweet smile smiled wider. "Then I guess I can show you to the dojo instead! How about we have a quick battle? Just so we can see who's better y'know?"
"That sounds great!," Gloria agreed, "But I think I wanna call my mum first n' let 'er know that we arrived."
Kara pouted a little bit nodded. "Oh alright. I'll be waiting outside so come on out when you're ready."
You both watched as she turned and walked out before looking at each other again. "Well....This first meeting sure is something else."
Gloria shrugged and held up her phone. "At least we got a guide there. I'd better go call Mum n' let 'er know we arrived."
"Good idea. She'll probably be happy to hear from you."
Gloria smiled before turning and walking just a little ways from you to make her call. In the meantime you went to take a seat in one of the chairs by the door. This shouldn't take too long. Gloria was usually pretty quick with these things. You had just sat down with Silver plopping at your feet when the door opened again and in walked a man. A tall blonde man with long hair flowing down his back as he walked in and just stopped and looked around. You gawked at the sight of what had to be the biggest top hat but you'd ever seen and at least six pokeballs were floating around it as if bobbing in water. Thick glasses covered his eyes as he turned his head looking at the station Master, then Gloria who had her back to you both on the phone, and then to you staring back at you. Before he gave a small him.
"Hm... You're the traveler I'm supposed to guide. Am I right? Exactly when we agreed to meet too. Quite the commendable punctuality."
You blinked. "....What?"
"Hm. I've got the strangest feeling we've met before but I can't recall," he mused reaching a hand up to rub his chin curiously, "And here I thought Amnesia was slowpoke's move."
"I'm sorry...Who are you again?"
"Oh. How rude of me." He then smiled and reached a hand up to lightly tip his hat at you. "My name is Avery. I'm a senior member of that dojo you're about to join. You're here to join the Master's dojo are you not? I also train there." He blinked as you shook your head.
"You have me mixed up with someone else. My friend's the one who's joining the dojo, not me," you explained holding up a hand. He must've mistaken you for Gloria. "I'm just here to visit the island."
He again blinked before looking you over and then sighing. "Oh the indignity. Apologies for the mistake on my part. I was only informed that I would be escorting a young lady to the dojo today on the Master's behalf."
"It's ok. I'm sure Gloria would appreciate it."
"I would appreciate what?" Gloria had come back seemingly having finished her call and blinking at the new man joining them. "Oh. 'S he another dojo for?"
At this the man, Avery, gave an indignant look. "Another?!"
Gloria nodded. "Yeah. There's a Kara person waitin' for me outside. Promised ta battle me n's everything. Sorry, mate. You a dojo guy too?"
Avery sputtered pressing a hand to his chest. "Another dojo guy?! My goodness. This is a thick one. Like a poor lost wooloo. It's up to me as an elegant adult to make sure they get the message." With a huff he turned his head up making you both look at each other. "I am A very! And the strongest trainer in the dojo here. A battle would show you that."
"Sorry. I already promised that ta someone else. If you want I'll battle ye after."
You nearly snorted at the sputtering look Avery gave Gloria before you stood up. "That works for everyone. C'mon. Let's get going before the sun goes down."
Avery seemed flabbergasted as you both stepped past him and towards the door. "Good bye, Mr. Avery. It was nice to meet you." You waved at him.
"Hey! N-Now just a moment ladies!" He quickly stepped after you. "We haven't even properly met yet! Perhaps a show of strength is the best way to get to know each other."
"M'kay," Gloria agreed, "But you'll have ta wait til after I battle Klara."
Again Avery sputtered indignantly at her suggestion of waiting for after she battled Klara before grumbling,"Time to show her who the better trainer is."
You stopped as Gloria opened the door and stepped out. Avery paused at your still form before you turned looking him dead in the eyes. "Don't think I didn't hear that."
He blinked almost shocked looking at you before you just turned back around and proceeded to follow Gloria out the door but paused when you saw the outside. F/c eyes widened at the beautiful sight. The smell of sea salt and water hit you as you viewed the ocean stretching over the horizon and ended on the shoreline of a beautiful beach. You could make out a few slowpokes already crawling along the beach and to where the sand turned into grassy dirt. Grass and trees were in your view to the left as well as the start of a river leading away from the ocean and...Gloria and the pink haired woman talking to each other and pulling out pokeballs? Uh oh.
"Hm. Is this your first visit to the Isle of Armor?" You turned back to Avery who gave you a curious look.
Despite your raised brow you nodded. "Yeah. It is actually. But it looks pretty so far. I think there's gonna be a lot of cool places to explore."
At this Avery sighed and shook his head. "She would no doubt like to run around and explore freely but first let's make sure she can handle herself." Your brow rose higher as Avery pressed a hand to his chest with a confident smile. "Naturally as a member of the Master dojo, I'll be using my psychic powers to test her strength!"
"Psychic?" You asked before glancing up at his hat and hummed. "So I guess that's how you turned gravity off on your hat. Where did you even get a top hat that big?"
Again Avery blinked before furrowing his brows...and legitimately looking like he was thinking as a battle started up not far from you. He seemed to be calculating if he should be offended by your words but decided he wasn't and smiled proudly. "I...will be perfectly honest. I have yet to meet anyone whom actually was curious enough to ask me that."
You shrugged. "Well it's not everyday I meet someone walking around with a giant magic top hat with floating pokeballs orbiting it like a planet. So I guess we can call it even."
To your surprise he actually chuckled. "That's..one way to describe it I suppose."
And you smiled at him. "I'm looking forward to seeing you take on Gloria. It should be very interesting."
He only chuckled again at you. "That is one thing we both can agree on."
It was amusing to just watch Gloria battle Klara and thereafter be defeated by said teenager which didn't take too long as they only used two pokemon each. The look on Kara's face was utter defeat and frustration but she soon smiled that sickly sweet smile again and the both of them seemed to talk a moment before Klara handed something to Gloria and run off. All the while Avery tapped his foot in wait. Gloria pocketed whatever it was before returning to you both and finally able to battle Avery.
"Well it certainly took long enough with Klara. Never the less, it's better to be fashionably late then never! Let us continue this event."
"Bring it ok! A good battle always helps calms my nerves!"
"Heh. I'll show you what true power looks like just don't overexert yourself."
The fight as you predicted didn't again last long. Although Mr. Avery sure made a show of it when he flipped his long blonde hair before taking a bow placing one hand to his chest. The pokeballs spun widely around his hat  which somehow didn't fall off his head and threw out a pokeballs which popped out an abra, then again a slowpoke as Gloria blazed through both pokemon as you predicted. The hilarious reaction that followed had you chuckling. His jaw nearly dropped to the floor wide open and the pokeballs fell from his hat a few bumping his shoulders before thudded in the grass. You wondered if his emotions were partly controlling his psychic powers whatever they were. He sputtered and looked angrily gritting his teeth.
"Good battle! I bet ye practiced a lot with that abra!," Gloria said with a smile.
Avery hissed through his teeth before casually forcing a smile and inhaling. "Ah! Um...Could you please excuse me for a moment?"
You both again looked at one another as he turned and just began picking up his pokeballs. "What's up with 'em?"
You didn't answer her. Instead focusing on Avery's mumbles and stepped closer to him.
"Improbable. No. Impossible! What kid of trick did this kid use? If a trainer of this talent arrives at the dojo then the people there very well may suffer amnesia of my existence. If only there was a way I could get rid of her but I've been tasked with escorting her to the dojo." Your brow rose behind him as he suddenly stood straight up...and turned back to Gloria again. "*Ahem* My what a good battle. You have potential. Why you made me use a whole three percent of my strength.'  He complimented making you give him a look. "But still...How should I put this? Our dojo is a respected place where even the famous Champion Leon trained. What I'm trying to say is, I don't think you're quite up to snuff." Gloria blinked. "Therefore I suggest you ignore the Master Dojo and head home as soon as you're done seeing the sights." He let go of the pokeballs now letting them float back up to his hat. "Now then farewell. I doubt I'll see you again."
Avery turned but wasn't expecting your iron grip to latch onto his shoulder and forcibly spin him back around to make him face you. Stunned Avery blinked as you grabbed his arm. "First of all, you should really learn to keep your voice down." Again he looked absolutely stunned being called out. "Secondly if we're going to be visiting the sights..." He suddenly yelped as you hooked your arm around his arm and firmly pulled him next to you. He blinked suddenly looking between you and where you held his arm. "Then our 'guide' can perfectly show us around. And the first place we want to see is the dojo." He gulped as you narrowed your eyes. "Please."
He chuckled nervously under your eyes. "I-...Well I-It really isn't anything special to see. I'm quite sure you ladies won't find it interesting at all."
"Oh but we would." He blinked as your grip let up to where you were just casually holding his arm. "It sounds so interesting. But we might get lost on the way there. Won't you be a gentleman and help us?" You smiled at him making his eyes widen. "Please."
"I-..." Avery quickly cleared his throat looking away as a tiny pink flush hit his cheeks. "Well...A gentleman shouldn't deny the pleas of a fair lady. *Ahem* I-I suppose I could escort you to the dojo b-but don't think of joining there."
"I wasn't going to join anyways remember?" You weren't but Gloria sure was he didn't seem to remember that detail as he just smiled and shifted his arm to reach out to pat where you held him.
"Yes...Very well then! Come. Allow me to escort you to the master dojo."
You smiled in triumph as he gestured for you to follow but looked over as Gloria tugged on your sleeve and whispered, "How come ya didn't give 'em the same treatment ya gave Raihan?"
"Because sometimes you can get the things you need by being nice easier. And he hasn't made any flirts towards me like Raihan did."
Gloria rolled her eyes but followed you and Avery as he showed you the way past a few trees and bushes. Past the bushes was a start of a dirt path and Avery pulled you along up the path and up a hill just a bit aways from the beach. Ahead was a bridge going right over the river and in front of that was a fairly large building. It looked like those ancient dojos you'd see in historical pictures except it was decorated with a large pokeball on the front. That must've been the dojo Avery and Klara referred to before. You all approached the bridge as Gloria looked on in awe.... before she looked down, stopped, and pointed at the ground just in front of you all.
"Oy. What the bloody heck is that?"
You both stopped to look at her then your heads turned to where she pointed. And blinked at what looked like a small mound of brown dirt sticking out of the path. After a moment it moved. A full pair of eyes and round nose popped up from the dirt and you three realized what you were staring at immediately -
"A diglett! Aw! Ain't it cute?"
Ah. It was a diglett. The small pokemon made a noise in question as Silver chirped back just as easily confused. Right. You guessed Silver hadn't seen a diglett before.
"Ah! There you are diglett!", a new voice sounded out making you all turn to the right as a tall man with a large backpack approached. He stopped right in front of the diglett. "Hahaha. You little rascal. I was worried sick about you." He then turned to you all. "Thank you for finding my diglett. I hope he didn't cause you any trouble."
"'S that diglett from Alola?"
"Oh.. I didn't expect to meet someone who knows about it. That's right. This is a diglett from the Alola Region. When I traveled Alola, I fell in love with these adorable three hairs. I caught a lot of diglett there and came back. But they ran off when I looked away for one second."
"How many did ya lose?"
"A hundred fifty one." You all gawked at him. "But now I at least have one. If you happen to find any of the others could you let me know? I'd be pretty grateful."
"That's a lotta lost digletts, but if it helps I will."
"Thanks. I appreciate it!"
The man called for his diglett to follow him and with that out of the way, you all continued over the bridge and towards the dojo. The building was much larger up close looming over you now and you felt a bit excited to see the inside. However you were surprised to see two women in front of the entrance doors looking to be talking. One was obviously Klara with her pink hair and butterfly looking bow and the other woman looked about ten years older with a green shirt and reddish hair. The two seemed to be in a deep conversation before Klara happened to look over and then stages of shock passed over her the moment she saw you three. The other woman was confused by her sudden expression before also turning to you all and blinking.
"Well..Hello, Avery," the green shifted lady spoke acknowledging the blonde man, "And who are you, Love?"
"Good mornin'! M' Gloria and this is Y/n!," Gloria Greeted pointing at you.
Immediately a flash of realization came over the woman and she smiled. "Of course! You must be the new student that's come to join the dojo today! Avery was sent to get you! Leon told us you'd be coming."
Avery now paused. Blinked. And then also gave a horrid look same as Klara. Speaking of said woman she was quite to speak up. "Uh....Right, right, right, right!" She quickly smiled nervously and held up her hands. "Exactly, Ma'am. I swear! She must've changed her mind about joining. But here she is! I'm so glad you decided to join after all!" Both you and Gloria gave her weird looks.
"Oh everything is just coming up roses!," she woman said happily clasping her hands together with a large smile, "Now I'm quite sure they already told me about you but there was a different student Klara was supposed to bring back."
"I'm pretty sure he took the taxi we flew in on and left," you spoke up, "He seemed pretty spooked."
The lady hummed and you swore Klara was sweating enough now to make all the makeup she was wearing run. "Oh? I was told that Gloria was the one that left. Klara, you must've been mistaken."
You instantly snapped your gaze onto her. "Yes." She looked at your deep frown and narrowed eyes. "What a VERY silly mistake. I'm SURE it won't happen again." Klara gulped.
"Where are my manners. I'm Honey," the woman introduced herself, "I help keep this place running. You can consider me the lady of the house not that the Master Dojo is just any old house. Seems you already met our Klara. Bit of an odd ducklett but she's one of our own." She nodded at the still shell shocked Avery. "And of course you know Avery. Both are training hard here at the dojo so they can become gym leaders one day. I trust you three can get along along."
"Huh? Oh! Yes!," Avery sputtered suddenly forcing a smile, "It's an honor to make her acquaintance."
"Oh dear but look at the time," Honey commented looking at the sky before looking at Gloria, "Here I am making you stand around outside after you've come all this way. Come in. Come in. " She gestured for you all to follow her. "Just  don't mind the front stench of sweat."
Again you and Gloria both looked at one another as Ms. Honey turned and motioned for you to follow her. But before either of you could follow her Klara sharply turned to Gloria with the first scowl you'd seen on her that made you all pause.
"Ok. Listen you," Klara whispered to Gloria pointing at her, "If you dare tell Ms. Honey what happened at the station I'll melt you down to size. You understand?"
Gloria blinked leaning back-
"Get your mascara smeared FACE away from Gloria," You growled back at her leaning forward and getting in Kara's face with a deep scowl, "Or so help me I'll sink my hands into that cheap fake fur coat and I'll march your behind right up to that woman and tell her EXACTLY what you threatened Gloria with. I don't need pokemon to do that!"
Klara only gawked at you in nothing but shock as Gloria chuckled. "Ya just witnessed what happens whenever someone ticks off my pal! Jus' be glad ya ain't Raihan."
With a huff you leaned back up and sighed. "So.." You turned to a shocked looking Avery. "How about you show me the inside of your dojo?" He blinked looking back at you as you patted his arm still linked with yours. "After all I'd still like to see the dojo and I'm sure an experienced trainer like you knows this place like the back of your hand."
Avery...blinked again but quickly smiled proudly. "But of course. Come along now." He gestured for you both to follow him before looking back at Klara over his shoulder and smugly smiling at her.
Klara scowled at him cheeks puffed out but started following behind you all. You four followed Ms. Honey through the front doors which lead to a long hallway. So down the hall you all went as the air was filled with the sounds of... Exercising? Many voices were carried through the air as you all approached and stopped in the doorway and blinked at what all of you saw. A rather large room greeted you all. A few exercise equipment was placed here and there, a few framed pieces of art lined the walls, and smack dab in the middle of it all was a blue battle space. At least twelve- No. Fourteen people were currently in the room either using the equipment or talking but stopped and looked up when you entered. The closest to you was a small boy and an older man talking to him but both looked up as soon as Ms. Honey walked in.
"Everybody. I have an announcement to make." Ms. Honey gestured to Gloria whom suddenly looked nervous. "We've got a new student joining us today. Please welcome Gloria. I'm sure you all will have lots to teach her-" Gloria awkwardly waved at everyone. "All out students are so good and hardworking. Everyone really gives it their all around here."
"Mom!" Your heads turned. The young boy who looked no older than eight or nine with the same eyes and hair color as Ms. Honey walked up to her. "I can't find my USB drive and Dad doesn't know where it is either."
"Now here's someone not in my database of students." She smiled very fondly at the boy whom frowned. "Hello, Sweetie pie. It's not usual for you to bother greeting a newcomer. This is my only son, Hyde." Honey gestured between Hyde and you all. "Honey, this is our new student. Why don't you say hello?"
"Are you some kind of outlier?"
"Hyde, don't be rude." She sent you both an apologetic smile. "I'm so sorry. He's usually friendlier. He's such a clever boy really."
"Mom. My disk drive!"
She sighed. "Did you try looking under your desk again?" Hyde blinked before he went wide eyed and you watched as he just wordlessly turned and scampered off out a different door in the room. Honey sighed again before smiling. "I'm so sorry. Hyde can be outspoken as you can see." Her head turned to stare at someone else now. "And that handsome gent in the back is my darling husband and the Master of the dojo. Why don't you come say hello dear?"
You looked at where she gestured. You blinked. And your brow rose as an older man with the LONGEST eyebrows you've ever seen smiled at all of you. Seriously. His brows grew off his face however his smile was very kind and mischievous. He wore a rather baggy pair of pants and jacket and a black hat.
"Why hello there!," hr greeted you all with a bright tone. "My name is Mustard and I'm rather good at pokemon battles you know. I'm pleased as cheese you could join us!"
Gloria blinked before giving a small smile. "Well... Cheesed ta meet ya too?"
The man chuckled at her response. "Haha. I see you've got a sense of humor too. Good. Good."
The last sentence made Honey roll her eyes. "Don't let him fool you into thinking he's just a silly old man. He's a real beast when he gets serious. Honey, this is Gloria." She again gestured to you both. "And this is Ms. Y/n. Leon dear told us they'd be coming. Remember?"
"Pleased to meet you both!," Mustard greeted cheerfully but rose a brow when turning to the blonde next to you. "And I see Avery did his job of fetching you both. We've been expecting you any day now! But now that the greetings are out of the way, this is my favorite part."
"Favorite part?"
"But of course! If you're here to train then I must first know where to start!" His smile suddenly looked more serious as he looked right at her. "I wanna see just how good you are in a pokemon battle."
You blinked as Gloria froze mouth dropping open as she gaped at Mr. Mustard. Mimicked a goldfish a few times. Before just shaking her head. "A-A battle with you?! Now?!" Her head swiveled with a nervous look at everyone around you all. "I-I-In from of everyone?!"
"Aren't you a former Champion?," You spoke up asking. Mustard according to Hop was a former Champion so if they battled Gloria would be at a pretty big disadvantage.  However Gloria's face only got more worried.
"It's nothing too serious," Mustard assured you with a smile, "I battle every new student who comes here. It lets me see how they are in battle and where best to start them on their learning path. So what do you say?"
Gloria blinked before looking at you before you just made a shoo motion at her motioning for her to go on. Gloria inhaled deeply before slowly looking back at Mustard. "I-...Um. Ok. Sure. If ya think it'll help me."
"Great! Let's get this show started then! This is the best way to get to know new students after all!"
Mustard only gave a smile as he walked past you all towards the battle area in the middle of the room. Gloria looked more like she was being lead to her doom than a battle by the nervous look she had on her face. You could only watch being a bystander to what had to be done. Watching as both took their places on opposite sides of the arena space. Watching as Gloria shakily held up a ball...And remembering the reason why Leon recommended her here. Gloria's stage fright problem. She became incredibly nervous with lots of eyes on her and right now everyone was stopping and staring to watch. You couldn't help but wonder briefly if Gloria's stage fright was the thing that caused her to lose against Hop in the Semifinals of the Champion Cup last year instead of winning like in the game's original storyline? Would it have been different if she didn't have stage fright? Would you be back home with your mother right now? Would you be forced to live a life you didn't want to dictated by her? You'd never know. And you felt like you didn't want to know either. Besides that was the past anyways. Too late now and you couldn't turn back time. You could only watch.
Watch as Gloria got completely wrecked.
She fumbled. Stuttering out orders. Looking around instead of at her pokemon. And was overall too slow and distracted to even win. In the end it was just her defeated and standing there looking humiliated and Mustard still kindly smiling with everyone watching silently. Well silently except for a satisfied huff to your left which made you smap a scowl at Klara.
"SHUT. Your. Mouth," you growled at her.
Klara went silent quickly  and Avery only hummed watching your interactions with her with a curious brow raised. The sounds of soft clapping filled the air as Mustard approached the down Gloria with a smile.
"Not bad! Not bad at all for our first battle together! You almost defeated my meinfoo in the final round there!," he happily complimented her before stopping in front of her and humming. "After seeing you in action, I think I know exactly what we can do to help you grow here but for now I think we all deserve a little rest. It's been a long day already and it's not even lunchtime yet!"
"I...Yeah. That'd be great," Gloria mumbled.
"Do not be so hard on yourself!," Mustard spoke up making her blink, "It was only your first try! You can't expect to be perfect on your first try on anything! Everything needs time for practice and development. That's what you're here for isn't it? So don't be sad about your loss. Learn from this and work towards your goals! After all...Even Leon didn't start out on a Champion level did he?"
Gloria just.... blinked at him before humming. "I-...N-No. I don't think he nay did."
"Of course not. Practice makes perfect and perfect takes time and patience. Let this be your first lesson here." He held up a finger. "Accepting losses isn't always a bad thing. It's a part of the learning process for becoming not just a better trainer but a better person in general. Your second lesson with me is learning from your losses and applying that to make yourself better."
Gloria's eyes widened at his words but then she held a determined face and nodded. "Right! I'll keep that in mind and practice harder next time!"
He nodded in agreement. "Excellent! I think you'll be s fast learner here! Now I was planning on starting to train you as soon as you arrived but considering you've never been on the island before I'll give you a week to settle in and get used to the place. How's that sound?" Gloria blinked but nodded yes at him. "Great!" He then turned his smile towards you and Avery. "Now then you and your friend are probably tired from your trip. Avery, why don't you show them around the dojo before taking them to their rooms?"
Avery smiled proudly at Mustard before bowing his head slightly. "But of course! It'd be an honor and privilege to do so!"
Mustard nodded. "Good. Now then I bid you farewell for the day. I should really see if Hyde found his missing machine piece. Do knock if you need anything or have any questions."
"Uh...I will. Thanks."
He only smiled before he and Ms. Honey turned and left through the same door Hyde did earlier. It was a bit silent for a moment before everyone just slowly moved on to what they were doing before you had arrived. Eventually Avery cleared his throat and made all of you look at him as he smiled.
"Well then...As I have been instructed to, I will have the noble task of showing you around the beautiful Master Dojo!" His arm gestured to the room behind him. "You've already been introduced to the main training area so let's move along then. Shall we?"
You agreed but not before giving Klara one last glare as she glared back at both you and Gloria. You'd definitely be keeping an eye on both her and Avery.
"The door the Master and Ms. Honey disappeared through leads to their private home. We're not allowed in there unless it's a real emergency. In that room is the most gorgeous kitchen big enough for all of the Master's students. Breakfast is served every day at eight sharp so do try not to be tardy," Avery continued on gesturing at two different doorways attached to the main training area as he guided you towards a third just across the room. "Come! I'll show you the guest room wings where you'll be staying!"
You both followed Avery with Silver at your heels towards the door just across the room from you and threw them open. On the other side was another hallway with a single door on the right side. Avery lead you down the hall briefly pointing out the single door as the Landry room before pursuing the very end of the hall. The end of the hall split off into two more halls to the left and right. Avery stopped you both and gestured.
"This is the last part of the grand tourl, Ladies." Avery pointed down the left hallway. "That is the mens' wing. Women aren't allowed there except for Ms. Honey for cleanliness inspections." He then pointed down the right hallway. "Your rooms would be located in the womens' wings. Oh! That reminds me! I was supposed to give these to the one I was tasked with escorting here." Avery reached into a pants pocket and pulled out two small keys. Each had a tag with a number on it. "Now I understand why I was given two sets of keys. These are your room keys. Don't lose them. Your room is the number on the key. You both are in charge of your keeping your own rooms tidy. Ms. Honey does cleanliness inspections once a week."
You both watched in awe as the keys were enveloped in the same blueish aura Avery's pokeballs were covered in and both floated over to both you and Gloria. Silver chirped in curiosity as you both slowly took them. Avery only smiled proudly at your awestruck faces.
"We all take turns doing chores around here in a rotating manner," Avery explained further pointing a finger, "Just look on the rotation roster for your names and which duties you're doing that day. They're always posted around noon there."
"Thanks. You've been pretty helpful," You thanked Avery whom only smiled and tipped his hat at you.
"But of course. This is where I bid you ladies adue for the day. I have other matters to attend to."
"Yeah. We'll catch you later." Both of you watched as Avery simply just walked away from you both before you again looked at the keys in your hand. "Ok... Seriously. How does he do that?"
Gloria shrugged. "I dunno. He's a real interestin' character tho eh?"
"Yeah. So is that Klara person." Your eyes narrowed. "I think it'd be best if we kept an eye out for them just to be on the safe side."
"I hear ya. Been through this thing one too many times."
"No kidding. Come on. Let's go get settled in and then we can go look around for the rest of the day. It'll help if we get familiar with the layout of the Isle."
"Oh good! Then I can work on my armor dex challenge!"
"You accepted another dex challenge?"

~Avery X Reader~
Word Count: 932
Content: SFW
-Attention-
Out of spite and dislike for being inferior in any way, Avery ran away from the thought that you were in any way, shape or form likable. Actually, he found your overly friendly behavior annoying and repulsive, or so he has been led to think by his own complexes.
Anybody else would've found you charming and fun to be around, having so much to say at any given moment, but not Avery. He had been furious every time you'd meet, hence just the thought of your smiling face made him red in the cheeks.
How does one, or rather, how does he, knowing you so briefly, have learned to hate every cell of your entire being, fiercely and passionately? That's why he needed to see you again. Prove his strength and overall dominance.
Yet again, Avery lay awake in bed thinking about you and all the ways he could show off his natural elegant glamour and make you like him more than you already do.
Scenarios were playing in his mind like an old film, you being impressed, utterly defeated by his strong drive to be Galar's own Psychic Gym Leader. The way you'd mouth a 'wow', clapping your hands and stating: 'Yeah, you're really cool, Avery! Now I see what you meant by your impactful words!' or… something like that.
That should be the winning formula.
He grinned and chuckled to himself, gripping the sheets close to his chin. A rival is always a rival. It's a cute concept, in a way.
Wait, no, not cute, I meant, uh, mighty! Yes, indeed, a mighty occurrence, something to be thoroughly cherished as an opportunity to outsmart and outwit your, quote, buddy. At least that's how Klara always is when he's involved.
Surprise, surprise, the next time he saw you, idling around in the Wild Area, you were chatting with her, giggling, having fun. Avery's fist clenched on instinct. Siding with another enemy force? You?? How ever could you?! You were supposed to be focused entirely on him and his dashing battle tactics, looks and charm!
He pushed his glasses up his nose and swallowed the lump in his tightened throat. He was super nervous, twirling a strand of his silky blond hair around his finger.
If he could figure out what you were thinking, if only he knew what your opinions on him were, what you liked, what your favorite places were… no, no no, he got sidetracked.
While tugging on his cravat, teeth nibbling on one of his nails, lost in ocean deep thought, you finally noticed his tall hat and waved at him.
His name being called so joyfully snapped him back to reality, gaze adjusting to your distant figure. Avery could barely make out a beaming smile on your face, but it was certainly present, the edges of his lips subconsciously tugging into a tiny smirk of his own.
Klara put a hand over her mouth, and laughed for a brief moment. She gave you a playful, friendly hit to the shoulder, briefly nodded at Avery and went her own way, probably to train up some more, ready to wipe the floor with him the next time they would meet. Or pretend to train. Avery was confused about her missing the opportunity to squabble with him, but what puzzled him more was the warmth in his chest when you suddenly appeared in front of him, outstretching your arms as an invitation to a hug.
That must've been a kind of frustration only the best of the best feel towards each other as trainers.
Actually, now that he'd though about it, did he ever announce your rivalry out loud? Did you even know?
He was looking into your eyes, admiring the brief but innocent sparkle.
He felt funny.
"You wanted to have a battle, right?", you asked, slowly linking your hands behind your back, seeing that he wasn't interested in an embrace, "That's why you're here, I assume?"
No, not only a battle. A battle with you. To prove that he is good enough. So that you would notice him and admire him.
Toying with one of his levitating Poké Balls in an attempt to distract himself from the flips his stomach was stubbornly performing, he opened his mouth slightly with the intention of replying, but nothing would come out.
He had nothing to say. Not even an arrogant remark. Only heavy silence pressing on his ears. He felt his heartbeat in his neck.
What kind of trick did you use?
Where did all of his strength go?
Your cheeks were slightly tinted pink, you were fiddling with your thumbs, patiently awaiting some kind of response.
He was forced to look away, palms getting a bit sweaty, his own face redder than yours, color present even on the tips of his ears.
Avery stepped forward awkwardly, shaky arms gently enveloping you. And oh did he regret not doing that earlier. He felt welcomed, accepted, finally seemed like he belonged.
"I am, i-indeed", he stuttered,
"And this time, (Y/N), I will try my absolute best", his grip on you briefly tightened.
"More than three percent of your strength now?", you chuckled, throwing your arms around his neck.
"All of it."
"If you lose, you're buying us lemonade later!"
Immediately, he agreed, but not without a forced complaint.
"Don't breathe in my ear, scoundrel!", he exclaimed, to which you started laughing, your chest pressed to his, him clearly feeling all the life in you. Somewhere along the way completely forgetting that he ever totally seriously and utterly sincerely hated you. Or something.

Tumblr media
Captain John Price
The captain is thorough, and he immediately knew something was up when he looked up your file only to be greeted with no photo. He’s honestly a little peeved that his rank doesn’t grant him this confidential information, he’s known Simon before he took up the mask so this is the first time he’s genuinely had a faceless ally
But ultimately, as long as he can trust that you’ll be following orders, he doesn’t care if you have a mask or not. But his concern is only that for a fellow soldier
It takes a little longer for him to warm up to you - facial expressions tell a lot about someone’s character. He’s a bit prickly around you, he learns about you indirectly with how you interact with the rest of the 141
But over time there’s a shift. He can’t pinpoint when exactly but the sight of your mask relaxes him. After days separated on a mission, high stakes and adrenaline has Price snapping his head at the faintest of foreign sounds. But upon the familiar sight of your signature mask, he feels at ease
Price is fiercely protective of you and your mask. He likens it to his hat, only far more important - that mask is part of your identity and he knows just how important a soldier’s psyche is. If the enemy manages to take off your mask, he’ll stop at nothing to get it back on your behalf, even if you reluctantly tell him to abandon it
If he can’t salvage your mask, Price has now made it a habit to carry a balaclava for you in one of his pockets. If that’s not available, he’ll even offer you his hat, tipping it down far enough to obscure your eyes
Off duty he finds himself staring at your visage more these days. Looking at how the mask curves over your features, or the small slivers of skin that reveal themselves. He catches himself before you notice but he’s still disappointed in himself, he feels like a Victorian-era prude hyperventilating at the sight of an ankle
“Looking fresh, sergeant.”
You let out an audible chortle at Price’s words. The last mission was a success but at great costs, one of them being your mask damaged beyond repair during melee combat. Your face still wasn’t revealed, but slashes against fabric embedded with dirt and ash have made your signature mask look unrecognisable. Immediately upon returning to base and after debriefing, you were out of commission until you could don a new mask.
Price would be lying if said he didn’t miss your presence for the last few days, hiding away from the rest of the soldiers in base. He has no doubt you’ve still maintained your training and visiting the infirmary for mandatory checkups, but he’s gotten far too used to you being at his beck and call. The famed sight of your mask is no longer in his periphery, giving a nod of approval (not that he ever needed your approval, but he does enjoy your attention).
And now here you are with a new mask, the highlights glowing under the overhead lights and the darks swallowing up the lightwaves like an animal starved. Your updated look had you noticeably confident, shoulders square and head tall.
“Thanks, Captain.”
He can hear your smile and he ends up sitting next to you. Did he need to sit so close? No, but he acts as though his thigh brushing against yours was pure coincidence.
“What are you going to do with the old one?”
“I don’t know,” you shrug, giving a light pat to a pocket in your cargo pants that your past mask currently resides in. “I know there’s a lot of memories in this… it’s my first mask… but I don’t know what to do with it.”
“I’ll keep it.”
You look at him. Price now has the uncanny ability to read your mood purely through your body language. From the speed at which you turn your head, the inclination of the neck, how your shoulders slant, he’s surprised that such a vicious soldier can act so endearingly in these moments.
“For what?”
“Safekeeping,” he says simply. “I’m proud of my soldiers, sergeant - want to remember their accomplishments.”
You shrug in agreement and fish your mask out of your pocket. You don’t need to know how much Price truly values you, how having your mask will be like having a part of you by his side to motivate him when he’s working alone.
Simon “Ghost” Riley
You’ve got a mask? Cool, so does he. Simon really doesn’t care when he first met you. He offers a simple nod of acknowledgement to you and then it’s all mission talk. If anything, the mask makes him respect you more, like him it’s always the masked ones who’ve seen shit and can get shit done
Even before you two became friends, you two were often paired together for operations. Perhaps it was just assumed the two masked people were on the same wavelength and to be fair, they were right. It didn’t take long for Ghost to admire your prowess on the battlefield
However as the two of you start to get closer, Simon gets a bit of a eureka moment. So this is how all his allies feel when trying to get along with a masked figure, unable to see any of their expressions. Oh how the tables have turned. It’s not daunting for him, more just amusing
He knows the struggles of having a mask so he helps out where he can. He reminds you if it’s been some time since you last washed your mask (advice he does not follow himself) and he’ll offer you some of his obsidian powder he uses to obscure any uncovered patches of skin
Price often has the two of you accompany him for interrogations, he calls it “mask pressure”. There’s nothing more terrifying to a target than having two imposing faceless figures standing on either side of them, unreadable and unpredictable
It’s clear you don’t want to show your face to anyone and Simon doesn’t question it. His natural curiosity is not worth your discomfort and he makes that abundantly clear. If on the rare occasion you catch him without a mask, he’ll sometimes put it back on so that you don’t have to be the only one with their face covered
If your mask is ever compromised, Simon covers you with his hulking figure. No one dares get on the bad side of Ghost who shoots the most terrifying glares towards anyone looking in his - and consequently your - way. He stands in front of you, back rigid and shoulders square, his posture only slacking if he feels you hold onto his back, seeking comfort
A few weeks ago, when left in a briefing, you finally noticed Simon was staring at you from across the room. He had been staring for a good while now, but you - ever the diligent soldier - were distracted discussing tactics with a corporal. So there he was, standing and observing in the corner of the room - his “observing” being drinking the sight of you. And that was when he noticed, among all the glory that was you, that your mask was slightly off alignment. Cue his eyes being trained on your head for you to get the idea that something was wrong.
When your head stayed still - probably challenging his gaze - he tried to change tactics. He added the occasional upward jerk of the head - miming an attempt to shake the mask back in place - but your head only tilted in confusion. You still could not figure out what he was doing.
Eventually he gave up and walked up to you. He lifted a tentative hand, silently asking for permission and you nodded. He pinched at the fabric on the side of your face.
“Your mask’s slippin’,” he said gruffly. It wasn’t the end of the world, only a small adjustment that only someone as observant as him could notice. Still, he felt satisfied at your heavy exhale, you must’ve noticed it’s a little easier to breathe with everything in alignment now.
“Thanks.”
Today, Simon finds your gaze trained on him, head following whenever he moves across the room. You used to stare when you first met, you probably found him intimidating and he doesn’t blame you. He thought you’d be over that though, you two were closer than that. At least he hoped.
“Penny for your thoughts?” He eventually asks and that spurs you into action.
Standing in front of him, you reach up, your hand grabbing the top half of the skull that overlays his balaclava. Your thumb lightly hooks into the skull’s eye socket - a little close to Simon’s actual eye but he trusts you. He feels you tug upwards, and Simon now realises that the skull had been sinking down his face, the peripheral around his brow no longer obscured. He’ll need to reapply the glue for the mask later.
“We really need a hand sign for this,” you mutter.
And so you two make one. It’s discreet, a closed fist with a thumb poking out, dragged from the jawline up to the hairline. The rest of the 141 just look at the two of you in confusion whenever you use it though, your little secret.
Johnny “Soap” MacTavish
Johnny’s generally a good judge of character. Although it’s a little uncanny being unable to see your features, he’s used to it because of Simon. One conversation is all he needs to reach a conclusion as to what type of person you are and now he treats you as if you’re good friends
Yes, he is curious about what you look like under the mask. He used to make comments about it occasionally until he caught you on a bad day
“C’mon Sarge, just a peek.” “Not happening, Johnny.” “What, you ugly?” “… that’s not for you to speculate, MacTavish.” “Shit, sorry. I- I’d never think that of you, or care. I know you’re a looker.”
And Johnny stands by his statement. Even if he’s never seen your face he quickly developed a little crush on you. How you conduct yourself in battle has him watching you with stars in his eyes and he just knows you’ll take his breath away if you ever show your face
When Johnny’s bored, he likes doodling your mask and potential alternative designs in his journal which he’ll show you sometimes. He’s not an artist but he gets the idea across. He’s created a “happy” design, an “angry” one, and the “when I see Soap” design which is just your standard mask with a whole lot of shoddily drawn love hearts on it (you haven't seen that design yet)
He’s genuinely surprised at how determined you are at keeping your mask on in all circumstances - you’re worse than Simon at this point - but he’ll never ask because he doesn’t want to potentially open up old wounds. Despite his curiosity for what you could look like, Johnny will never invade your privacy and ensures no one else does either. If you’re in your room he’ll knock once, twice, thrice, until he’s absolutely sure you’re ready for him to enter
If something goes wrong and your mask falls off he’s looking away and shoving everyone else to look away as well. He’s like a guard dog, shouting and name-shaming anyone who dares look in your direction. No one except other members of the 141 will be able to approach you until you’re covered
Was it smart to have you and Soap - combined to be the most disruptive and obnoxious soldiers on the field - alone to handle a stealth mission that was off the books? No, but you sure as hell weren’t going to disappoint Price or Laswell. The objective was clear and the rules of engagement were even clearer; under no circumstance can the enemy know you’re from 141.
“We’re gonna need to cover our faces,” Johnny mutters absentmindedly beside you. You pull your binoculars down to send him an incredulous look and he chuckles. “I need to cover my face.”
“You got a mask?”
There’s a pause and Johnny’s looking at you, eyes glinting in that familiar mischief. That was never good news.
“You bet.”
You offer a tentative nod of encouragement before lifting your binoculars back up to observe the target site. You hear the repeated shuffles of fabric against fabric and clothes sliding against skin. It’s prolonged, you swear it’s enough time for Johnny to change his entire uniform. His breaths become muted, mouth now covered until it eventually falls to complete silence. It’s unnerving, the designated demolitions expert is not known for his silence, and you have to look back at him yet again.
Of course you expected Johnny to be wearing a mask, but it was the mask itself that took you by surprise.
“Is that… mine?”
“Was yours.”
You squint and somewhere in the depths of your mind, you vaguely recall Soap asking if he could have one of your spare masks back at the base. You humoured him, and said your wardrobe was his.
That was your first mistake.
You figured he was just going to take the piss, wear your mask to scare some privates around the base. You didn’t think he’d actually wear it on a mission. It was unexpected, but it felt like an honour. How he was so willing to identify with you in some of the most dangerous of situations.
But your silence has Johnny getting fidgety. He’s already reaching up to pull the mask off.
“I have a normal balaclava. If you don’t like this I can-”
“Wear it.”
You can’t see Johnny’s face but you see him pull his head back in surprise. Then he smiles, one so wide, expanding his cheeks you can see it stretch your mask. In that moment you’re glad your mask obscures your features as you feel yourself grin at his own joy.
“We’re a team, aye?”
“You bet.”
Kyle “Gaz” Garrick
Kyle’s may be close to Simon but he's not entirely used to masked allies. When you first arrived he shot Captain Price a cautious look, a silent conversation between them finished by Price’s definitive nod. Eventually he relents and puts up with you
Subconsciously, without seeing your face he ends up reducing you to a weapon. He respects you like a soldier, a robot. His language is restrained, only issuing orders and you recite them back
It’s only when another soldier cracks a joke on the mission and you laugh does it flick a switch in Kyle’s mind. You weren’t all orders, you weren’t a machine, you were a human (with a damn nice voice might he add). He feels terrible for reducing you to a tool simply because he can’t see your face but he’ll make up for it now
He becomes a bit of a menace in the sparse quiet moments of a mission. He makes the occasional one liner about how you wear the mask so others aren’t distracted by your good looks, but then changes the topic so quickly you’re not even sure he said it
Yes, Kyle’s a little obsessed with your voice. He can’t see you and he doesn’t have the experience like Price or Simon to read body language accurately. Instead, he can read your mood near perfectly with the inflections in your voice (which is arguably more impressive). While he doesn’t want you to ever be upset or angry, sometimes how you taunt the enemy has a shiver running down his spine
Because your mouth is blocked by a mask, many allies don’t offer you food or drinks. Not Kyle though, if he’s grabbed refreshments, he always ensures he has extra for you. At first he just gives them to you and then leaves. But when you said it was okay for him to stay - trusting him enough to just look away when you lift you mask - Kyle’s heart soared
If anything happens to reveal your face, Kyle is immediately by your side. He pulls you close to provide comfort, while also guiding your head into his neck or shoulder to block anyone from seeing you. Another member of the 141 will find a solution to cover your face, you are Kyle’s first priority and he’ll gladly hold you all day
After a long mission, you and Kyle are finally safe upon reaching exfil. Sitting on a helicopter Kyle slumps against his seat, and you do the same beside him. Although he could finally relax, he feels absolutely filthy, swamped in his own sweat under multiple layers. Dirt and mud caked his boots and crept all the way up to his thighs. Some even sneaked up into under his tactical vest.
He spares a look and sometimes he thinks you can’t possibly be human. The heat is suffocating enough without a mask, Kyle has long forgone his signature cap to let his head breathe. If your body language was any indicator, you weren’t handling the sweltering heat of the helicopter engine or Al Mazrah’s temperament. Your chest notably heaving under the weight of your tactical gear, breaths so laboured it sent the fabric around your mouth pulling and billowing with each inhale and exhale.
There isn’t much Kyle can do for comfort, but he tries. He shifts a little closer to you. Your head shifts to look at him, the movement was far too slow, like your head was too heavy and his heart tugs a little.
With one hand, Kyle gently tilts your face up to him. With the other he lightly pinches the fabric of your mask at the junction between your jawline and ear. Teasing it between his fingers, when he pulls his hand away there’s gunk on his fingertips. Dust, dirt and as he squints at your mask he realises that some of the stains are likely the dried blood of an unidentified enemy.
The hand he’s resting on your chin is about to pull away until he notices how you’re resting your head on it. He can’t see your face but he has no doubt that your eyes are near shut, almost drifting off to dreamland. He occupies himself by gently brushing away loose debris off your mask which has you relaxing further into his touch.
“We gotta wash this,” he murmurs defeatedly.
“... yeah, we do,” you grumble, voice thick with fatigue. Kyle does not stop his ministrations - even pulling some fluff off of the cotton of your mask. It does little to actually clean your mask - at this rate it’s going to need pure bleach to clean it - but he can’t bring himself to stop. Not when you trust him this much, leaning into his touch, entrusting him to be the respite from your mission.

— “Drunk already? I wouldn’t have pinned you for a light weight.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-> content warning! alcohol intoxication, top m alpha! reader x bratty omega in heat, stupid cockwhore bitch craves for cock but doesn’t get it.
Turning someone into your little cockwhore bitch, there’s nothing sweeter than that — than the otherwise self-assured look in their eyes turned to one that’s dazed and pleading.
Fuck, if it weren’t for the numerous drinks simmering in his system, drumming along his veins that had his head swim, he wouldn’t be in this position. No, damn it. He wouldn’t be here, visible flush streaked across his cheeks with the obvious, heady scent of arousal lingering in the air. His interested, omegan cock stirring between his spread legs, knees clumsily knocking against yours beneath the wooden counter. Nor would he be the one to lean just a bit, in your direction, intently fixated on your parting lips with every swallow you take, each and every bob of your throat that curves along nicely down, alcohol pleasantly burning. It was a mistake in itself, to think he’d out drink you, looking perfectly fine in comparison to him who supported his chin atop his palm, gently swaying back and forth.
Shit, he hated you. He hated you so damn much that he’d catch himself staring at your glistening mouth each and every time, bubbling frustration slowly shifting into one of needy arousal, a need for your cock in his throat, ass, wherever he could touch it, smell it even. Maybe if you were so generous, you’d let him have a go at it, pathetically slide himself onto his knees so he could paw at your bulge, suck on the rough fabric of your jeans where your fat, knotted cock comfortably sat underneath. Bastard didn’t deserve to get a proper taste anyway. Only a curl of your finger shoved up his pulsing, dripping hole would have him cumming all over himself like a whore regardless, desperately bucking his hips into your touch to reach your split knuckles. Hell, he’d even be fine with you towering over him, grip tightening onto his face with your fingers greedily digging into the soft of his flesh, harshly spitting into his awaiting mouth, pink tongue peeking out. However, you do none of that. Instead, you lean into his space, pressing your lips against the shell of his ear, heated breaths quickened, audible over the bustling pub and noisy patrons surrounding you.
— “I could ruin you if I wanted to. Fuck you, right here, right now. Have everyone see, what a needy little cum slut you are for my cock.”
Exhaling shakily, his eyes flutter shut at the drum of your voice, letting the words sink in, slicked, wet hole miserably tightening around nothing. Dammit, he wants you, wants you so fucking bad to mess him up, to have him bent over the flat surface as you fuck your cum into him, reddened ass on display for all the hungry, perverted alphas to leer upon.
— “But I won’t. I’ll just let you rut into your pillow like the nasty, fucking whore that you are.”
..You fucking tease.

Frozen Pain - Jackson Avery
Word count: 1600
Summary: Love that's real, doesn't know a distance, does it?
Tumblr media
You're holding a cup of coffee, comfortable in the luxurious beige couch in your penthouse apartment in New York. You held a letter in your hand, visibly upset.
Hey y/n
I hope this letter finds you very fast. It has been quite some time since we last saw each other at the hospital, or even had a good talk.
And I wanted to let you know that everyone misses you so bad. The hospital just isn't the same without you, or our after-shift drinks at Joe's.
There have been changes since you left. So stay calm when reading this. But Jackson and Maggie are dating now. It came as a surprise to all of us, and it may seem evil but I miss seeing you happy with him.
I thought you should know since you were...you know what I mean.
I know it's been a while since we last spoke, but I hope you'll find the time to write back when you receive this letter.
Take care, I hope to hear from you soon.
Amelia
"I can't believe this... Jackson and Maggie?" You muttered to yourself placing your cup of coffee on the table and folding the letter closed.
Images of you and Jackson together, happy and in love, flash across the screen. The memories of your past relationship flood your mind.
You take a deep breath, trying to compose yourself. You pick up your phone and dial Amelia's number. After a few rings, she answers.
"You have no idea how much I waited to hear you." Amelia sounded emotional about the fact she noticed you calling for the first time after you had left. "Y/n?"
"Amelia, why didn't you tell me about them when I was still there?" Your voice trembled even if you didn't want it to. "I should've known, you know I should've."
" I didn't know how to break it to you. I thought it would be better if you heard it from me." Amelia spoke, sounding apologetic.
"Well, thanks for that. I can't believe he moved on so quickly." You sighed, leaning back into the couch, staring out of your window. "Maybe I left at the right time."
"I know it hurts, but y/n, you decided to leave Seattle. You had to follow your dreams, remember?" Amelia reminded you.
You sighed deeply, nodding your head even if she couldn't see. " I know, but it doesn't make it any easier. I thought what we had was special."
"It was special, and it still is. But sometimes life takes unexpected turns. You deserve happiness too, you know that." She answered on the other side.
" I just wish I didn't have to find out this way." You muttered, wiping away the tears that fell from your teary eyes.
"I understand. But remember, I'm here for you, no matter what." The Shepherd sister spoke. "Just remember, you're strong and capable of creating your happiness."
"I will try to remember that." You hang up the phone and take a moment to collect yourself. Despite the pain, you know deep down that you made the right decision by pursuing your career in New York.
You open your laptop that's on the coffee table and check your emails. You notice a mail from Jo with the subject 'Don't hate me'. You click on the email and start reading.
From: Jo Wilson
Subject: Don't hate me
Hey y/n,
I hope you're all settled and doing great. I wanted to let you know something that happened yesterday.
I bumped into Jackson and Maggie in the parking lot, and it seemed like they were arguing, or breaking up, or anything else that wasn't any good. And yes, sometimes I'm too nosy.
I know your history with Jackson, so I thought I should let you know.
But here's the thing... I accidentally I repeat, accidentally, let it slip that you live in New York.
I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to reveal any of it! Not without your permission. I just wanted to give you a heads-up that there's a big chance he's on his way to you.
You quickly close the laptop, unsure of what to do next.
You grab your cup of coffee and walk over to the sink. You place the cup in the sink and turn on the faucet, letting the warm water flow.
"Might as well do something productive to distract me." You whispered to yourself, looking at the dishes.
You proceed to wash the glasses, rinsing off any soap residue before placing them on a drying rack.
Suddenly you hear a knock on the door. You cautiously make your way to the door and open it, revealing the last person you'd expect standing on the other side.
Not thinking for another second you tried to shut the door.
"Even three seconds is enough...I just need to know that you're okay." He said, placing a hand on the door, making sure you didn't close it. "Wilson told me you took the offer in New York. I just- I had to see it for myself."
"Well, as you can see. I'm in New York not in Seattle." You shrugged at the man you once fell for or still had, but you couldn't show. "Maggie knows you're here?"
"Who told you that..." He furrowed his eyebrows, taking his hand off the door.
"Amelia wrote me, Jackson. I know you've moved on, so I think it's best if you do as well." You gave him a small smile, trying to close the door once again.
"You've been avoiding my calls and messages. Can we at least talk?" Jackson asked, his eyes staring back at yours.
" I guess we can talk, but I'm not sure what there is left to say." You sighed, opening the door wider for him to walk inside. "What do you want to know?"
You closed the door, sitting down on your couch.
"I just want to understand why you left so suddenly without talking to me. I thought we had something special." He folded his hands on top of his knees, looking at you.
You shook your head in denial, staring at the ceiling, feeling the tears pricking in your eyes. "Jackson, it's not that simple. Andrew died, Alex left, Meredith was going to leave, and I needed some time to process everyone leaving me."
"But why didn't you talk to me? We've always been open and honest with each other." Jackson turned his body towards you, leaning an arm on the couch headrest.
" I know, and I'm sorry. I should have talked to you, but I was terrified. Scared of losing you, scared of facing my own emotions." You answered, placing your face in your hands.
"I broke things off with Maggie, she...she doesn't feel as home as you do. We've been through hell and back, we can do it again." He said.
"Jackson, it's not that simple. We both have our baggage and unresolved issues. We can't just start from where everything ended?" You got up from the couch, walking over to the huge window, staring down at the busy city.
"I believe in us. I believe that we can work through our problems together." He spoke as you felt him standing behind you.
"I need time to figure things out. I need to understand my feelings and what I want. It's not fair to either of us to rush into anything." You replied, turning around, your heart quickening as you stared back into his bright eyes.
As Jackson stood in front of you, his eyes filled with determination, you felt your resolve waver.
"I'd do anything if I have to, only to make things work out between us," he said earnestly.
You let out a heavy sigh, "Jackson, you know it's not that simple. You've just left Maggie behind."
"I know, I know," he said, running a hand over his head. "But I've let go of things in the past that I regret now, but y/n, you? You're, you're something I could never regret, ever."
You turned back around, fighting back the emotions swirling inside of you. "I don't know if I can do this again." You whispered.
"Just...just give me a chance to show you." he pleaded, taking a step closer to you.
The memories flooded back, the laughs, the tears, the late-night conversations. Despite your best efforts, you felt a small smile tug at the corners of your lips.
You looked up at him, and he smiled back, a hopeful glint in his eyes, and the city lights twinkled outside the floor-to-ceiling windows of your penthouse.
He leaned in, and your heart skipped a beat as his lips met yours. The kiss was intense, filled with both longing and regret.
"What are we doing?" you whispered, breaking away.
"Right now? I don't know," he confessed. "But I miss this and I miss us."
The ache in his words mirrored your own emotions, but you knew it was dangerous to reopen old wounds. "We can't keep doing this to ourselves," you said, trying to keep your voice steady.
"I know, but I can't walk away." Jackson pleaded, his eyes searching yours.
A surge of conflicting emotions coursed through you, and you let out a frustrated moan. "And you think, I can?" you admitted, feeling the weight of those words hanging in the air.
He pulled you close, and a bittersweet laughter filled the room. "Then let's try," he said, his voice determined.
As you looked into his eyes, the city hummed in the background, and you knew this decision would change everything.

Hello! could you maybe do something with Grayson Hawthorne x reader, something fluffy, thank you so much!
Lazy Mornings
Summary: Grayson doesn't want to wake up and makes you stay with him in bed for as long as possible
Grayson Hawthorne x reader
Tumblr media
I blinked away the lingering sleep and tried to make out the time. It was nearly ten. It was nearly ten?? I turned to look at Grayson who was sleeping peacefully, his blonde hair in soft waves, no longer neat and tidy like usual. I liked his hair like this. It was something I only got to see. Grayson Hawthorne with messy hair was a sight to behold. He looked so peaceful that it took all my will power to murmur his name, trying to wake him up.
"Grayson?" I whispered, pushing away the hair that had fallen forward onto his forehead. He mumbled something before tightening his grip around my waist and burying his face into the crook of my neck. As much as I loved the warmth of our bed and the way Grayson was holding me we had places to be this morning. If I was late to another brunch with Avery and Jameson, I'm pretty sure they would stop inviting us to double dates. Grayson would be happy to hear that seen as though he was always saying "I want to go on a date with you. Just us two. If I wanted Jamie along I would just sit at home".
I shifted closer to Grayson tracing his features, his soft lips, his sharp jaw, his eyebrows that were probably more perfect than mine. "Gray. We need to wake up"
He let out a warm breath on to my neck and pulled his face back to survey me. His lips turned up in a small smile. "Morning, love"
God, I heard his voice every day but in the mornings it was just something else. I gave him a smile back "Good morning. We're going to be late if we don't wake up"
He rolled his eyes "Does it matter?" His hand moved up and down my back in a steady rhythm, a technique he used to help me fall asleep when I couldn't. I placed a hand on his arm so he would stop otherwise I would sleep until I missed brunch and dinner.
"Come on Gray. We've planned this for ages"
I don't think he heard me because instead of getting up he shifted his weight until he was on top of me, his arms on either side of my head making sure all his weight wasn't about to squash me into the bed.
"What are you doing?"
"Giving you your morning kiss" He leaned down to place a kiss on my cheek, then he moved to my other cheek, slowly peppering kisses all over my face and neck. I reached up to hold his face still and kissed him full on the lips. Every kiss was like our first in the best way possible.
His grey eyes pierced me, amusement evident on his features once he pulled away. "Was that a distraction technique, darling?"
I tried to keep a straight face but failed miserably "Maybe"
He slowly lowered him self down and wrapped his arms around me again, resting his head on my chest.
"Just five more minutes"
I ran my fingers through his hair the silk strands escaping my fingers. "Fine, but if we're late your making up the excuse"
"Whatever you want, love" He murmured, before his breathing evened out, his heart beat in sync with mine.

midnight drop
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing - grayson hawthorne x reader.
summary - a late-night swim in the swimming pool after the shocking will reading doesn't help grayson cool down, but it's a good thing that his girlfriend is there to help.
warnings - spoilers from the book "inheritance games", shirtless grayson + kissing.
navigation | masterlist | request | taglist
a/n: my first grayson fic has finally arrived, yeyeyeyeye :)) i also have to read the third book, but i don't want to, because I don't want the series to end.
Tumblr media
y/n sat on the edge of the swimming pool. the sky was dark, but not pitch black, because the stars were visible. even though the girl felt at peace, she felt slight waves crash against her legs, making her lip corners lift.
the reason she was out at midnight was because of her boyfriend. grayson hawthorne. her eyes followed his figure in the water.
swimming laps was his way to relax. to clear his mind. but it was visible that he couldn't get the shocking news from today out of his mind.
even though he wouldn't admit it, y/n knew he was quite upset. she could tell by his tensed muscles and by the tone of his voice, as he spoke, filling in the silence.
the fortune that he should have inherited from his grandfather. the things that he should have gotten, for his hard work and his wasted time, were given to a random girl named, avery. and the question was - why?
why would someone leave something so meaningful to a random person? but in the hawthorne house surprises and mysteries were a normal thing, so the girl couldn't help but smile, when she heard her boyfriend, for the thousand time, talk about how the girl had seduced or manipulated him.
"what?" grayson noticed the grin on the girl's face.
"nothing."
"then what's so funny?" he slightly furrowed his eyebrows as he stopped swimming.
she just shrugged with a smile still on her face.
"y/n."
his stare was intense.
the kind of intense that made grayson stand out. that stare that made others feel threatened or powerless, but for the girl, it was like she was the only girl he could see, while the world slowly disappeared, "it just humerus me how you think that she manipulated your grandfather because he was the real mastermind."
"so funny," he stated, as he rolled his eyes.
she could feel the annoyance in his tone, which made her want to tease him even more, so she continued, "that's what i'm saying."
but for some reason his next move wasn't the one she taught it would be - him getting more frustrated - but instead grayson started swimming towards her, "mhm, yeah, really funny."
"wha- what are you doing?"
"nothing," he said calmly, with a small smile.
sensing that he was up to something, she started to take her leg out of the pool so she could get away, but before the girl could do that, y/n felt the boy's wet hand on her leg, holding her in place, "gray..."
"mhm?" his hands slowly traveled up her thighs to her waist.
"what are you planning?"
a smirk appeared on his face and she felt his hands grip her sides tighter, "i just want to laugh too."
"wait grayson-" but her words were silenced when she felt the cold water.
her clothes, face, and hair were soaked. y/n felt the coldness against her skin, hitting every nerve, that made her immediately come up from underwater.
the girl saw her boyfriend laughing and she splashed water on him, "you idiot!" but that didn't stop his laughter, "it's not funny you asshole!"
"oh, but it is," he chuckled, as he reached for her.
when she felt grayson's hand grab her side, y/n removed from his touch "don't touch me."
the boy smirked, "you mad, princess?"
"fuck off."
"that's quite hard when you're so beautiful," he reached for her side again.
"i'm wet," y/n stated in a serious tone, but when she saw the boy's eyebrows slightly lift, the girl immediately said, "not like that!"
"i didn't say anything," he pulled her closer with a grin on his face.
y/n rested her head on his shoulder, so he wouldn't see her tinted face, "i'm still mad," her hands wrapped around his waist.
"oh, really?"
the girl hummed. she felt his hand move slowly up and down her side.
"well, there's no need to be. i didn't do anything," he added.
she pulled back and stared at him, her arms remaining in their place, "oh, really?" the girl said the same words as he.
grayson gave her a small smile, before leaning in and capturing her lips in his. he grabbed the back of her thighs and lifted her, so the girl could wrap her legs around his waist.
y/n's arms wrapped around his neck, "i despise you," she murmured in the kiss.
grayson started to trail kisses down her jaw towards her neck, "we both know that's a lie, princess."
and it was because y/n y/l/n would die for him. her heart beat for him and he was her home. her safety. grayson hawthorne felt the same. that's why their love for each other was magnificent.
"well maybe now you're right," the girl murmured.
he disattached his lips from her skin and looked at her, "i'm always right," and with that, he leaned in for another kiss.

Avery - “Ah, ah. I didn't say you could touch me.”:
You couldn't help yourself as your hand trailed down Avery's bare chest, fully intent on feeling where you two were joined. Avery clicked his tongue and you could feel a pull on your wrist before they were wrapped around his neck.
"Ah, ah. I didn't say you could touch me." He said, holding you still on his cock. You were seated on his lap and tried to move but something was holding you down. You always forgot that he was an actual psychic himself, and he loved abusing his powers when it came to intimate times.
"Avery, please just fuck me. I'm sorry." You said and he clicked his tongue again. His grip on your hips tightened around you and he seemed to be thinking.
"I didn't realize you were planning on being such a brat tonight. How about you sit there pretty for me until I learn to watch your mouth and follow my directions. Am I clear?" He said, still using his powers to keep you from moving. You went to protest when you saw him grabbing his phone, presumably to go online and ignore you until you could behave. A whine left your throat as you came to terms with your predicament.

"What do you mean he went off somewhere again?''
Klara sighed over the phone. "He left a good number of hours ago. I thought you already knew that. Didn't my he tell you anything before he left?"
You shook your head wide eyed. "No. I didn't even have any idea he was gone! How long has he been missing?"
"A few hours. Said he had to take a quick trip over somewhere to pick up something. Not sure what tho. But I'm sure he'll be back soon."
"And how do you know that?"
"He called me this morning. Said he'll back by tomorrow noon."
"...Oh."
That was strange. You hadn't seen Avery or almost two weeks by now because you both had been so busy lately. You just assumed he was spending time training hard. You'd been busy yourself seeing about setting up your new home and bakery. So you hadn't seen Avery lately but only assumed that was because he was busy with everything. But..he had left without telling you? That was very much unlike him. Where did he go? Why didn't he tell you? Maybe he's been so busy and stressed that he had just forgotten? You'd just call to see if he wanted to join you for lunch that day and was hit with the news when Klara answered the phone. Well you'd soon find out what he was doing anyways since he was returning tomorrow. The next day came faster than expected and you were in the middle of work too. Your were in the front restocking some of your kitchen shelves when a man of blonde hair and a smile on his face walked in and you paused in your tracks, eyes widened, as none other than Avery himself walked through the door.
"Avery?!"
"Y/n!," he said with a smile on his face turning towards your wide eyed look. "I'm home!"
"Where have you been!?," you asked turning from the shelf and frowning at him. "You took off for two weeks without telling me!"
He held up an empty hand. "I know. I know. But I promise I can explain. Can I talk to you outside for a sec?"
..You rose a brow. "Alright. I can finish stocking up in a minute."
Well that settled it. With that being a yes you went ahead and followed Avery back outside on your porch. Once outside he stopped and looked at you silently smiling for a moment however you were still confused. It was only after another second or two you opened your mouth, but was stopped when he held up his other hand. You weren't sure how you didn't notice but the entire time he was holding something, that something happened to be a simple pokeball wrapped in a red ribbon. You stared at him, then at him, then back at the ball, and after a moment of silently staring at it, slowly it from him to which he then lowered his hand back.
"...What's this?"
"It's a pokemon."
"I-..W-Well yeah. Obviously. But why?"
"J-Just open it," he stammered hand shakily reaching up to rub the back of his neck. "I w-went through the trouble of getting it for you."
You still stared at him for a moment before looking back down at it. Avery..got you a pokemon? Well that was an unexpected gift but not a bad one! That's actually really sweet of him to do so! With a smile you immediately pulled off the red ribbon and gave the small red and white ball a toss to summon out whatever it was inside. A bright white light popped out from it and the small critter came forth but the sight of it made you pause. It was a pokemon alright and one you HAD seen before...But by accident. When Gloria accidentally gave it to Hop so long ago. The small pokemon had the small body of an apple with eyes poking out at the top where the stem would be and a small green tail behind it. It blinked before looking around and stopping at you. Giving a curious peep towards yourself.
...An...Applin???
IT WAS AN APPLIN!! A FREAKING CUTE LITTLE APPLIN!! AVERY HAD GIVEN YOU AN APPLIN!! you continued to stare at the small pokemon for a silent wide eyed moment for a moment before looking at Avery.
"W-What's all this about?"
He gave the shakiest most nervous sounding sigh you had ever heard him say. "Y-Yeah...Look. I just-...*ahem* I-I-....*sigh* I didn't know how else to ask. Alright?" His head rolled to the side as he nervously rubbed his neck. "I-...I know we h-haven't really t-talked about being together-together or anything official or nothing...So I-...I-I remembered what your friend said about the Isle of Armor. So I just..." He sighed again closing his eyes gesturing to the small apple pokemon who made a peeping sound. "I wanted to get you one and ask-..W-Well it-it's only natural I'd a-ask and make it o-official at least. I-I MEAN! Only if you want to. W-What I'm asking is....Y-Y/n. W-W-Would y-you m-mind..being m-my..p-partner-" His body flinched feeling a touch on his hand and he snapped his eyes up towards you.
He got his answer when you wrapped your hand around his own and smiled. "Yes."

hii can i request jameson hawthorne x fem reader who is kind of like his aunts or grandfathers intern? ans j like them w a super flirty relationship and tension. ty!!
˗ˏ` INTERNSHIP! 🎞️ ´ˎ˗
pairing. jameson hawthorne x intern!reader
summary. jameson’s life seems to get undeniably more boring than ever and alisa comes with a rescue.
author’s note. i LOVE jameson hawthorne. i felt like i needed to say that. idk if this is flirty enough but i hope u like it <3 thank u so much for the req, i love my boyfriend 🫶 not proofread! i wrote it at night so might be lots of typos or grammar mistakes 👎👎
Tumblr media
EVERYTHING WAS BORING, college was boring, annoying grayson was boring, which truthfully made jameson feel as boring as ever. it almost felt as if his life lost its true meaning. it reached the point, where avery would poke fun at him, saying things like nana probably threw a spell on you, or look at that, jameson hawthorne has nothing to do, the world is ending, which was, well… amusing, although he couldn’t admit it.
jameson’s life was getting more and more monotonous each day and for the first time, he didn’t know what to do with it. there was no thrill, no adrenaline rushing through his veins, nothing — and as a certified middle child, he was going absolutely crazy, becoming almost insufferable. xander thought it was funny, seeing him all worked up, but not at all at the same time.
it would go on until alisa brought an intern, who — as it turned out later — was the girl he met on a trip to tuscany during his gap year. someone he had an incredible connection with, but back then, jameson didn’t want any strings attached, which… resulted in a wave of regret, because he couldn’t let himself get your name.
hawthorne could feel his throat getting dry as his eyes scanned your outfit. the light beige shirt with the top button undone, so it wouldn’t suffocate you, the pencil skirt hugging your hips and thighs, exposing your legs almost perfectly. if he was even more unhinged than he usually is, he would probably had his mouth full of foam.
what was even worse than the outfit, which made him extremely feral, was that you didn’t even flinch when alisa introduced you and your eyes fell upon him. maybe he was wrong and mistook you for the tuscany girl? maybe you were just a random girl, who looked incredibly attractive in her work attire, that looked extremely similar to other girl he met in italy? so many questions, yet so little answers.
a long sigh has left your lips, the second you ran your face with cold water. of course, your luck had to bring you to the house of the guy you spent the best month of your life with. how was that even possible? neither of you had ever believed in the ‘we’ll meet again if we’re meant to be’ type of thing. you always said that life is made by coincidences, nothing is ever planned for you beforehand and as long as you’ve the money, no one will care what you’re doing. but here you were, in his house, wearing pieces of clothing you wouldn’t wear if you knew, feeling like a crap from pulling an all nighter the night before.
jameson winchester hawthorne has looked as good as you remembered him. dark, velvet dress shirt embracing his toned stomach and muscular arms that once (or twice) were wrapped around you. though, after all this time, he still wore the rings you bought him, which made your heart race.
you genuinely thought that the racing of your heart would stop after some time, especially since the internship at mcnamara, oren and jones had you spending an excruciating amount of time in the hawthorne house with jameson always being somewhere around. he’d often find you in the hallway, hardly ever exchanging more than few words, though always making sure to brush against your skin slightly.
“you’re agitating.” you muttered, when his back leaned against the counter, while you were fixing yourself a coffee, which unlike at the company, was truly amazing. “don’t have anything better to do?”
“c’mon, yn.” he sighed almost playfully, rolling his eyes at you. “can’t even crack a smile for me?” jameson’s tone coated your mind, sending a warm wave to your cheeks. it was the most thrilling thing to him these last couple weeks. seeing you get so flustered over the smallest act gave him the same feeling like when he cliff dived.
“i’m working, jameson.” the way his name rolled off your tongue made him smile. “it’s not tuscany. i need to get stuff done.”
“you remember tuscany, huh?”
this man was driving you insane. the way he smirked at you, the way his words had such an effect on you, the way he always knew what to say to make you flustered. “you’re such an idiot.” was all you said about his last comment, rolling your eyes at him as you noticed the red lipstick stain on the white mug.
Tumblr media
YOU COULDN’T REALLY PINPOINT THE MOMENT when the strictly–formal conversations with the hawthorne brothers and grambs sisters became so casual. you couldn’t wait for the hawthorne days as you called them, when you could leave the bureau and the paperwork to join alisa with whatever she was doing there. most of the time, xander would steal you away to ask you the stupidest questions about law enforcement and law in general just to leave you fifteen minutes later.
as much as you tried to push jameson away to not raise any suspicions of the history you had, he was irresistible. always making sure to tease you in some kind of way. unfortunately or not, you started caving in, just like he predicted.
before you know it, your thighs were met with the cold surface of the bathroom counter in some fancy restaurant, the fabric of your emerald silky dress has ridden up as jameson pushed his right hand up your thigh, the left one squeezed your waist. his lips were pressed against yours, moving with a rough, possessive manner. some would say it was the tense atmosphere building up, when he couldn’t get you where he wanted.
and in that exact day, exact moment, jameson had you right when he wanted. it was a casual hangout, just him, his brothers, libby, avery and her friend, who also happened to be soon to–be–girlfriend of his youngest brother. but to jameson’s pleasure, everyone grew so fond of you that avery suggested you should go with them.
the theme was comfort, but elegant. so, the outfit of your choice was the silky dress that was accompanied by the necklace you got back in italy. the first words that came out of jameson’s mouth was a stutter. the sight of you made him stumble over the sentence he tried to make.
“you look — so amazing.” he groaned as his lips made a trail down your neck, sending a shiver down your spine, when his teeth had bitten the sweet spot right above your collarbone. “so fucking gorgeous.” the chain of praises was never ending.
your hands got on the collar of his shirt, gripping it as he continued to leave marks on your collarbones and shoulders. as much as you enjoyed his actions, you missed the feeling of his lips on yours. you pulled him up, hungrily crashing your mouth into his.
fifteen minutes later, the red lipstick was nowhere to be found on your face. on the other hand, there were lots of it on jameson. you were still sitting on the marble counter, legs wrapped around hawthorne’s hips. his mood was definitely better as he was zipping up your dress.
“a quickie in the bathroom, when did you turn so naughty, hm?” a chuckle escaped mouth as he watched you wipe the excess of your lipstick off his chin and bottom lip. “i met this cute guy during my vacation in europe. a real charmer.” you replied with a smirk, fixing the lacy strings of the dress as you jumped off the counter.
your chest was touching his, but neither of you moved away. you were still a little breathless from the unexpected activity and to be completely honest, it wasn’t enough — just looking at his stupid, handsome face made you crave him even more. you weren’t the only one though, considering that hawthorne couldn’t take his hands off of you as he brought one to your chin, tilting it upwards to have an easy access to kiss you again.
an involuntary grin hovered over your lips as his fingers brushed your cheek in a tender manner, before fixing his messy hair and leaving the bathroom. he closed the door just to open it again to wink at you and leave to get back to his siblings.
Tumblr media
YOU COULD TELL that everyone already knew about the tiny thing going on between you and jameson. nevertheless, pretending like it wasn’t true was easier than admitting it. as long as alisa wasn’t asking any questions or forbidding you from showing up to the hawthorne house, you didn’t really care.
it was early, maybe even too early for your liking, when the alarm in your phone went off, earning a hoarse, incoherent groan from jameson, whose arm only tightened around your naked body. the only things covering you from flashing someone accidentally were the white sheets that kept you warm at night.
“turn it off.” another groan escaped his throat. he knew what this meant, it was five o’clock and you had to get to your dorm to get ready for the bureaucratic nightmare, as he liked to call it, at the law firm, which always handled all his familial issues. “gorgeous, there are lots of your stuff here, just go back to sleep. you can get ready here.”
“i can’t.” you replied, planting a few sweet kisses on his bare shoulder. “everyone will know i was here if i left later.” you added, your voice soft. your fingernails gently scratching the back of his neck.
“you act like they don’t know already.” you could swear he just laughed, his sleepy demeanour made him even more attractice at this point. “sorry to break it to you, gorg, but once you start, you forget all about quietness.” ironically, this shut you up immediately, red already spreading all over your cheeks.
“you know what’s funny?” a question rolled off his tongue, catching your interest, even though you couldn’t quite make out his words as his face was buried in the white pillow. “xander texted me to ask you to moan a few decibels less.”
“oh god, i am never leaving this room again.” you said embarrassed, hiding your face in hawthorne’s arm.
“i like that idea.” he laughed, pulling you even closer, shifting a little to shut your phone off completely. “make it my early christmas gift.”
