After they run away together, Marwa and the Djinn make like tourists through modern day Iran! I wish I had the energy to do a more detailed background bc every ref of Iranian street markets was so colorful and full of STUFF, extremely overwhelming, no wonder Marwa had to ask him to stop buying everything she looked at. SIMP.

Marwa has a leather satchel strapped over her shoulder and is happily munching on a stick of Jigar, flowers floating around her head. The Djinn walks next to her, holding his own empty stick in one hand and a load of shopping bags in the other. His expression is vaguely dazed as he gazes past the viewer, flowers also floating around his head. Text pointing to him reads 'best day ever' /end ID

Picrew Masterpost

So uh... I use picrew a lot. Like, a lot a lot. Because of this I have a lot of funky picrews in my catalog, some are really popular some less so - figured I'd make a master list with as many as I physically can. I'll try to list pros and cons* for each picrew - unfortunately, due to the image limit I can't include examples** *pros and cons are my personal opinion, I am not trying to insult any picrew on this list nor am I saying my opinion is the be-all or end-all. I will not be commenting negatively on any art styles in my con list, I will simply focus on what it does well and what I think could be better **If you have a maker you think should be added send me an ask with the link and lmk it's for this post For the sake of actually browsing this post, we're gonna have sections. Under these sections will be all the picrews relating to it. The sections, in the order listed, are:

Modern - has a majority modern clothing options

Fantasy - has a majority fantasy clothing options

Historic - clothing options or artstyle reflect a specific time period

Full Body - shows knees up of the characters or more

Group - more than one character in the image

Animals - any non-humanoid

Misc - makers that don't include a character or that work better for icons than character design

I will also put emojis next to picrews that include certain things, 🧕 for picrews with hijabs, 🌈 that include LGBT backgrounds or pins, 🎉for picrews with vitiligo, ♿ for disability options (wheelchairs, feeding tubes, etc) and ✨ for my personal favourite picrews. wanted to draw more arab people but also more disabled people, so i decided to draw both. i didn't have many ideas for this drawing so i'm open to suggestions! :3 (cat smile)

I realised that I haven't drawn the Starblaster crew in a while, so I did! My art style has changed since then, so I got to update their designs a bit in the process, though not much has changed. Maybe that says more about me than about them.

One drawer is open with a scarf falling out, there are boxes inside presumably full of art projects/supplies and a jar of paper cranes in many colours. Basira is a dark skinned woman wearing a mustard yellow hijab. His eyes are dark brown and his hair is long, brown, and streaked with grey. His nails are painted black but badly chipped and he wears bracelets he made himself of the bisexual and asexual flags. His clothes are easy to confuse with the green blanket wrapped around his shoulders but it is a green top and green long skirt. Basira is now wearing a muted purple hijab. Her top and jacket are now dark muted greens and she has a light purple blanket over her legs.

Also I wanted to include here what is written in the notebook as the font can be hard to read: Slime mold has been around for an estimated forty billion years though remained undiscovered until 1869. When first discovered they were classified as fungi and it took many years to be made part of the Kingdom Protista and class Myxomycetes. When in a properly moist environment slime mold is capable of “creeping” at a surprisingly quick pace of 1.35mm per second, meaning they can move several feet in twenty-four hours. Physarum polycephalum was discovered in 2000, by Toshiyuki Nakagaki to be capable of solving simple mazes in search for food. Since then P. polycephalum has shown intelligent behavior raising the challenging question of if it can be considered “intelligent”. In testing this P. polycephalum was tested with a replica of the layout of Tokyo and the surrounding towns. Placing an oat* in the location of each of these towns and placing the slime mold in the place of “Tokyo” the replica was complete. P. polycephalum began exploring slowly and began making its way around creating an efficient system for reaching the food in the best way possible. Interestingly, the pattern the slime mold created was remarkably similar to the Tokyo subway system.
