Villain-Fucker Angst Hours

Good timezone, darlings~ Are you ready to get all up in your feelings? No? Me neither, loves, but here we are regardless so the words are going to flow as they usually do... This is focused on Raphael from Baldur's Gate 3 and his fandom, but the latter section can easily apply to any villain fandom.

Self-Analysis of Devil-Fuckery, Or Why Do I Adore Raphael When He Is Very Obviously Evil: A Short Essay by TavyliaSin (Who Still Cannot Name Anything With Less Than A Full Paragraph) ((NSFW)) (((Game Spoilers)))

The following may discuss heavier topics, but without specifics, so whilst it should be safe for most to read without triggering any difficult memories please be aware of Raphael's entire vibes, the content and context of his story, and I'd also like to mention that this isn't a "woe be us for we are terrible people" piece, it's actually more about:

"There is an inherent kindness and warmth to much of the Raphael fandom, and I think there could be some common threads behind that, pulling us all in closer in a comforting blanket that we wrap around each other to keep out the cold of the world."

So, what in the nine hells am I on about? Well. Raphael-fandom is a wild and wonderful place to be. The rest is in sections, so feel free to skip through to what you feel is relevant to your interests. I am so prone to waffle I should open a restaurant~

Who Are Fans Of Raphael? What Do They Want?

We are feral, unhinged, all sheets to the wind "I want that devil man, carnally, and there is no force in all the planes that could stop me". There's the vanilla to the extreme and every level in between, tops, bottoms, versatiles, Doms, subs, and switches - there are a whole lot of people who would love to get their hands on either (or both) of Raphael's forms, for a simple smooch or something far more spicy~ [edited in] To add on to this, not all of us even desire him in a sexual way, for many it is romantic, soft, or even just the rather pleasant thought of spending an evening with drinks by the hellfire because he would be fascinating company. Aces, Aros, and AroAces may all find themselves well within the devilish corners of fandom too~ which is a whole other essay~ [end edit] So, I see you. I'm one of you. Extremely loud and utterly hingeless in my fan appreciation for Raphael. He's one of my favourites to write about, I seek art of him, and the same goes for his mirrored other half, Haarlep, who I arguably love more despite there being far less content of them in the game.

And the Fandom? The Vibe?

From my experience in the Raphael Fandom areas, we have a very deep and abiding understanding of consent, respect, and treating each other with an absolute and uncompromising kindness. We've had talks about keeping each other safe in fandom, exchanged details of people we have encountered who need to be avoided, even shared details between moderators of different fandom servers to pre-ban people proven to be creeps and/or art thieves. We've also discussed consent, including the issues with it in the game, and how areas of the story can only really be considered dubious at best and could easily be triggering for people. And these discussions have been open, honest, fair, and with the acknowledgement that most of us love these scenes anyway. So there's a sense of care that runs through everything, behind the horny-posting and fan content, behind the endless thirsting after our favourite fictional characters. We have a depth of kindness that warms my sinners soul every time I see it.

What Does This Have To Do With Self-Reflection, Raphael, or Villainy In General?

Well let's look at Raphael. He's a villain, obviously. He's manipulative, devious, and inherently evil by his very nature. He keeps Hope chained in his basement, constantly subjected to endless torture. There's also mention of how Gortash was sold into his service at a young age, clearly not an enjoyable experience given the other details and how things turn out (particularly as Raphael would need Gortash's own plans to fail entirely in order for him to succeed in his own and get that crown). And as fans, we accept that. We don't sit making excuses, or trying to say "well actually Gortash is a little shit and Hope probably deserve it", and we don't shy away from or conveniently ignore those darker sides of him with malicious intent to enable more evil to flourish. What I noticed, when I allowed the thoughts to continue, is that there is a theme here.

If Evil Can Be Loved Then So Can I

That's the core. Of course, darlings, I am not claiming to be a heinous monster. I certainly do not have a laundry list of crimes that would make the devil himself say "Uh, that's a bit much." But I sure as fuck treat myself like I do sometimes. You see, I think a lot of us have that tendency, to judge ourselves far more harshly than anyone else. Our patience, understanding, and forgiveness for others runs deeper than the Mariana Trench, but when it comes to our own flaws? One minor mistake and we think ourselves to be the worst beings ever to disgrace the earth. Thus, the villainy we see reflects how we are treating ourselves. So by loving and accepting all of those things that should be terrible, hated, we are actually learning that no matter how poorly we think of ourselves that we can be worthy of that same love and acceptance. We are extending the affection we are unable to show ourselves to someone we see the worst parts of ourselves amplified within. And that's why villains attract the people with the most kindness. The most forgiveness. Because it takes someone with a truly huge amount of empathy to find love for the embodiment of evil.

Or, IDK, maybe villains are just hot and we're too far down to care.

But wait, before you go!

THERE'S SOMETHING WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT.

All of this is about FICTION. We should never be accepting of the kinds of evil we see in the game irl. We do not owe anyone kindness if they do not show it to us.

What is hot in fiction is not always OK IRL.

Look after yourselves out there, remember that consent is key in all things, and please do try to learn to love yourselves, darlings, you are worthy of it and you should judge yourself by the same standard you judge others. If you are in doubt, if you are worried, if you feel afraid - reach out, talk to someone. There are many who will listen.

Treat yourself as you would treat a friend. You deserve that much.

pairing: matt sturniolo x reader summary: where the sturniolo triplets are part of an organization known as the eclipse alliance, matt has constantly failed to pull through with pulling the trigger on a target. fed up, their boss gives matt one last chance, where he is sent to northside high school to get some answers out of a girl. warnings: cursing, mentions of drugs and a lot of mafia shit??, some smooches rahh author's note: HI FRIENDS!!! lots of important context in this chapter, i hope it's a good one <3 back to reader pov next chapter!! some fun sibling banter too yayyy also yes i Did delete this chapter on accident after LITERALLY FINISHING IT. :D WC: 2024 (lol xd) lowercase intentional !!

i couldn't help but allow my gaze to linger across matt's features as he kept his eyes on the road, a hand on the wheel and the other on his own leg.

matt seemed to pick up on this as he turned to face me, his eyebrows furrowed. "what's your deal?" he smiled.

"where are you taking me?" i questioned.

matt and i were having our first date today. it had been about a week since he asked me that night at the pond.

"uhh, well.." matt trailed off. "i don't like crazy stuff, i could only think of more chill stuff, so…" he trailed off.

"soo..?" i continued for him and smiled as he shot me a joking death glare.

"we're going to an art museum?" he stated, but it was more of a question as he turned to me for half a second and back at the road.

i gasped and clasped my hands together. "i've never really been to one!" i chuckled as i looked out the window at the trees passing by.

matt just smiled softly to himself as he continued to drive. he really hadn't been to one either, but he knew that wherever you two went, it would be a fun time.

"where's matt?" chris called to nick from the kitchen.

nick was laying against their couch, his eyes glued to his phone. while they had a lot to do, he needed the break more than anything. he scrolled through his phone as he let out a deep sigh. "i don't know, chris, he's probably out getting tutored. or his dick sucked or something."

"ew, nick," chris muttered as he opened the fridge and grabbed a pepsi, moving to take a seat on the couch as well. "gross."

they sat in silence for a few moments before chris cleared his throat and turned to nick. "i talked with the coordinator the other day," he breathed, and nick immediately dropped his phone and gave chris his full attention. he nodded his head at him with wide eyes as if to say, 'go on.' chris let out a deep sigh as he messed with his hair. "it.. didn't really go well. we need to break the news to matt soon. or else.." he trailed off.

"or else what?" nick muttered, before he sat up from his previous laying down position to look at chris. "what, chris?" he repeated, shifting to be directly in front of the younger's face.

chris immediately shoved him out from in front of him. "no need to be so close, god," he muttered before he shrugged. "he said he'd complete the mission himself." he stated.

nick blinked a few times before he let out a deep sigh. he leaned back against the couch as they both stared at the ceiling.

"nick… how did we get into this situation?" he questioned, almost as a whisper as he turned to the oldest triplet. "to be completely honest, i don't really know why we're doing this all. i just want to be with my brothers. but it doesn't make sense to me. why are we killing people, why are we kicking up dirt on people and.. why are we getting each other involved so severely? we both know matt wants nothing to do with it, and i'm not entirely sure i want to be involved either." he trailed off, and nick simply listened to him.

"it's… a long story." he stated softly, but his eyes closed.

"i have time." chris stated firmly, sitting up to listen to nick.

"okay well, are you gonna interrupt me every five seconds? that'll make this five hours longer than it needs to be." nick spat, but chris only cracked a smile.

"no, just get to it kid," he responded as he took a sip of his pepsi.

nick took a deep breath before starting. "well, as you know, the eclipse alliance prioritizes discipline, order within ranks, and most of all, loyalty. the alliance was established decades ago amongst a few teenagers who seeked power, wealth and control. they got this tightly knit group and developed a hierarchy structure. with their goal to expand their influence, the alliance grew rapidly. this caused them to expand to various legal enterprises including smuggling, extortion, drug trafficking, and money laundering-"

"nick, stop with the big words, bro. i understood maybe half of what you just said." chris stated blankly, but he was clearly interested in the topic.

nick rolled his eyes and took a deep breath before continuing. "anyways. we got involved with eclipse alliance because.. well.. we had financial struggles growing up," nick stated bluntly, shrugging as he stared into space in front of him. considering they lived from ten onward without parents, nick took initiative at a young age to try and keep him and his brothers stable. "since around when i had joined eclipse alliance, black veil operations emerged as a challenger to us. their logo is a silhouette of a woman with a veil and a growing flame behind it." nick stopped to take a soft breath before continuing. "they were fueled by the desire to trial their dominance and establish themselves as a rival power." nick took a deep breath as he looked at chris, who was listening closely. "while eclipse alli-"

brrr.

nick cringed at chris, who let out probably the most disgusting burp known to man. "can you fucking listen?" he spat, and chris immediately threw his hands up and pointed at his pepsi. after a few moments, nick continued. "while eclipse alliance prioritizes hierarchy, order and loyalty, black veil operations takes a more decentralized approach to their operations. they're known for their cunning tactics, flexibility, and willingness to exploit weakness within their rivals, which is us." chris nodded along. "they're determined to undermine the eclipse alliance's power and expand their own influence by using any means necessary."

chris stared at nick and slowly nodded before blinking a few times. "i see. i guess." he thought for a few moments before he shrugged. "i don't know, i think people need to let go of grudges."

nick chuckled and stood up. "what i'm saying. but i did what i could to get us to where we are today. even if it means risking my life, or.. ours, now." he shrugged.

chris nodded and smiled. "thanks for explaining to me, nick."

no pov.

the sun had began to set, and matt was now driving home with y/n in his car. when he pulled up in front of your house and noticed the empty driveway, he cocked an eyebrow. "business trip?"

you smiled and nodded to him, shrugging as you began to get out of the car.

matt quickly followed and got out with you.

your first date was great. matt felt like he had an amazing time with you. he loved the way your hand felt in his, like they perfectly molded together. but now it was time for matt's plan to end the night. he smiled at you as he bit his lip, expression clearly nervous.

you seemed to quickly pick up on this and spoke up, "you okay? what's got you so nervous?" she questioned, and matt internally cursed at himself.

"i uhh. got you something? but don't be weird about it." he breathed as he watched you stare blankly at him. fuck, he felt so shy. this was the worst moment to start kicking himself in the ass. "can you uhh.. turn around?" he chuckled nervously when you looked at him confused before you obeyed and turned around, moving your hands over your eyes.

matt bit his lip as he pulled a few things out from his car.

"y- you can turn around now," he stammered.

you did just that, and upon turning around, your jaw dropped.

matt had a small posterboard with "PROM?" written on it, and a bouquet of flowers in one hand that held the sign while his other just held it tightly.

"you're such a dork," you whispered as you smiled and stepped towards him, carefully taking the bouquet of flowers to relieve him of awkwardly holding them with the poster.

"i know you really wanted to go to prom, and… i don't, but. if it'll make you happy," he trailed off, and tried to bite back a smile as he watched you smile in awe at him.

"i'd love to." you responded.

matt smiled warmly at you. his heart was racing. to get answers out of this girl, did he need to ask her to prom? no. but did he really, genuinely care about this girl and what she truly wanted? yes.

they stared at each other for a few moments as matt put his arms down, letting the sign sit at his feet. he hadn't even realized how close together you guys were now, standing between his car and the curb.

you both smiled at each other, you faces both a shade of pink.

how could this girl have any ties with black veil operations, matt thought to himself. she was an innocent girl, a beautiful innocent girl. a sweetheart. his internal dialogue rambled, but it immediately came to a halt when he felt your lips press against his.

his eyes widened for a moment before they fluttered shut and he felt his hands subconsciously move to your waist.

when you pulled away, matt stared at you for a few moments, his eyes wide, and yours were just as wide.

just as you were about to apologize for the action, matt gently squeezed your hand.

"wanna come inside for a bit?" you asked, and matt felt his stomach turn.

chris groaned as he turned to the clock beside him. matt was supposed to be home an hour ago. he sighed as he set his headset down and carefully picked up his phone, pulling up matt's contact and shooting him a text.

chris:

hey wya??

matt allowed a soft groan to leave him upon feeling a hand of yours run up his side and gently along his back.

'wanna come inside for a bit' led to you both against your living room couch with matt on top of you.

matt gently ran a hand down your side and tucked it under the hem of your shirt, his cheeks burning pink as he stopped.

the way you smiled against his lips and parted your own softly gave him enough permission to gently tuck his fingers under the hem.

matt couldn't help but glance down at the now exposed skin under your shirt before an inked spot on your skin caught his eye. he immediately halted and turned to the decorated skin, his entire expression falling.

"what's wrong..?" you questioned, sitting up slightly.

"what is this?" matt was pale. he looked up at you, his entire demeanor changing.

you smiled nervously as you looked away. "ahh, i don't know.. i've had it since i was like twelve." you chuckled, but your smile faltered when you looked up at matt.

matt let in a deep breath as he stood up and checked his phone. 12:37am.

"fuck, i promised chris i'd play fortnite with him." matt chuckled as he shoved his phone in his pocket.

"are you okay?" you questioned, scrambling to your feet and straightening out your disheveled clothes and hair.

matt smiled reassuringly at you and nodded, walking to the door. after walking outside, he pressed a gentle kiss to your lips that lasted for a few seconds before he pulled away and hugged you tightly. "thank you for today, i had an amazing time." he whispered against your ear.

you nodded softly and hugged him back.

as matt began to walk to his car, he smiled brightly at you and waved. he got in his car and started it, driving away once you re-entered your house. he drove down the street before he pulled over and buried his face in his hands. the only thing he could think of what the inked skin just above your pelvis.

First of all- wow. Thank you all so much for helping me achieve this milestone that I didn’t thought was even possible!! 😭

Good morning? Good after or goodnight! Hope you’re having a wonderful day! I have 2 scenarios that came to mind, so I’ll let you pick whatever you want, whatever makes you imagination, imagine.

Scenario 1- the turtles have an s/o that’s like really good at something they love, like amazing at this, but s/o dose not like doing this and sees it more like some sort of chore. Due to the fact the parents made them do if from really young age, makinh them quite any other things and or hang outs, parties or anything else as they where expected to put 110% into this, they are good at it not because they want to, but because they had no choice but to be good at it.

for the things the s/o is really good at:

for Donnie it could be something to do with robotics, or coding

for mikey someyhung to do with cooking or ballet.

For Raph something with boxing, wrestling or some sort of martial arts

And for Leo maybe something with modelling, or icon.

Scenario 2-there a/o is a yokai, maybe like a rabbit or a weasel so when winter comes they just start turning white, how would they react? Would they freak out? Would they find it cool? Or even annoying at the fact fue is everywhere?

Squealed when he saw you.

He almost fainted, he thought someone had broken in until he saw your face.

When you explained that you were molting due to winter, you could see his shoulders drop in relief.

Gives you lots of scratches during your naps to get the extra fur off, he doesn't wanna make you itchy while awake.

If he hears you purring/clucking in your sleep, he knows he's not doing anything wrong.

Still, a little freaked out. But hey, you changes colors, that's cool in his eyes!

Leo

Genuinely fell over when he first witnessed you molting.

You had to repeat yourself a few times while explaining, you weren't sure if he was listening or not due to how surprised he was.

Whenever he leans in for a smooch, immediately starts to cough, he ALWAYS forgets molting includes free fur everywhere.

Please god why is there so much FUR.

Once tried to use his swords to cut off the extra fur.

It didn't end well. Thank god it was in a spot that wasn't noticeable.

Donnie

Already knew beforehand but seeing it in action is fascinating.

Star eyes in live action.

How many times are your lab privileges going to get revoked, reader?

Aside from the lab, you are to go for a shower before you cuddle or touch him at all.

Fur is nice sensory wise but, fur that isn't attached to you is prickly and icky.

After you molt, expect him to cling to you like a magnet. New fur equals heaven.

Mikey

If he isn't hanging out with you, he's hanging out with Donnie. So, of course he knew!

Still a little freaked out.

He actually adores the loose fur everywhere, it smells like you!

Plus, its like a little souvenir.

Extra plus, it's free art materials!

He sees you the same, regardless of changing color. <3

ok before i ramble too much just one last thing, but i feel like yukong’s career trajectory would kinda be the same as michelle yeoh’s, so like she started out in the sort of action/martial arts genre and then branched out into other things. THAT BEING SAID maybe reader and yukong met on the set of crazy rich foxians (parody of crazy rich asians LOL) where reader plays rachel and yukong plays eleanor. in the end, the romance between reader and the male lead gets sooooo overshadowed by the surprisingly intense chemistry between reader and yukong instead…. 👀👀

Lost his balance and face planted on the ramp

Ofc you rushed over to check on him

Thankfully he was fine, just a little bruised

“Guess I really fell for you, huh? Get it?”

Leo.

He doesn’t really mind all that much when you demand cuddles

He just gets caught off guard often

Especially since you seem to just pop out of nowhere

Can you portal or something???

After double checking that he’s okay,

He’ll gladly go to cuddle with you on the couch or in his bed

He’ll be tinkering away at one of his projects in his lab, or playing a video game

You just walk in and stand near him quietly

You don’t tend to pop in out of nowhere since sometimes he’s working on something a tad bit- explosive

“Yes.”

Depending on how much he can handle touch that day, he’ll either-

Get up and cuddle with you on his bed or on the couch

Both of you watching shows or YouTube videos on his tablet

Likes being big spoon

Feels very exposed when he cuddles as little spoon, usually has to take off his battle shell for this

But he trusts you, so he’ll let you be big spoon occasionally

He’ll offer to sit with you

Usually on bean bags of your own, but still next to each other

He may hold your hand or just rest against you slightly

It’s not that he doesn’t enjoy cuddling with you

He just doesn’t feel up to physical contact some days, especially for long periods of time

Still does his best to make sure you’re both happy

3.5/5 depends on the day but he’s doing his best <3

If he’s busy with cooking or in the middle of focusing on his art,

He’ll pause for a second and give you a big smooch before finishing whatever he’s doing

“Just one sec! Gotta finish this but I promise to cuddle you as long as you want right after!”

Holds his promise and holds it well

He’ll get snacks and drinks for y’all and set it near by

Sets up his phone or the tv so you two have something to watch

Or to just have it as background noise

He switches positions a lot when cuddling

Cant really stay still but doesn’t want to stop cuddling with you

One way to get him to stay still for a bit is to cuddle him while he’s partly, or fully, in his shell

Likes being little spoon

But loves when you both hold each other

Likes being able to look at you when talking

Also likes that he can give you kisses easily in this position

Plus he gets to hug you and you can hug him at the same time!

It’s a win win!

Big Red

Raph usually wanders around the lair so you have to look for him a bit

He screams loudly when you pop out of nowhere demanding cuddles

“Raph! Can we cuddle???” You ask, perched on top of the fridge.

“HOW DID YOU EVEN GET UP THERE!?”

He’s absolutely down to cuddle though

If he’s on the move for some reason,

He just picks you up, grabs a blanket, and wraps you up like a burrito before carrying you around

This way he can cuddle you and finish doing whatever it was he was doing

If he’s not busy though, he just picks you up and cuddles you anywhere

Couch? Yes!

Bed? Absolutely!

Beanbags? Sure!

Everything is occupied? Use him as a bed then!

He doesn’t mind

Loves to be big spoon

But if you’re larger than him, he enjoys being little spoon too

Does get worried that his spikes will hurt you tho

Usually will face you instead of having his back towards you

If you’re smaller though,

He just wraps himself around you

He literally becomes your bed and blanket

Gives you smooches on your forehead and cheeks

Usually plays soft music or just cuddles quietly

• Lucky/Lefty

This one is So special to my heart and its so silly really, i just think they would look so cute together. Im under the impression that Lefty is a touch younger than Lucky, based on his voice, position in the shop, etc. i like to imagine that Lefty grows up looking up to Lucky for a long time and never knows why hes just about Leftys ‘favorite friend’ when one day he drops his freakin hot dog in shock after realizing that he very much thinks of Lucky when hes not even around, what he might be up to, being mad when he talks to ladies, MUCH, much like someone who has a big fat crush.

He puts it off forever and thinks hes maybe just Going Crazy, takes Pinky on an unsuccessful date, does all these ‘manly’ things that he was taught growing up.

I like to think that there would be a dance at the school, and Lefty doesn’t feel like going with anyone. No one matches up with the feelings he’s been having for his best friend.

Lucky, being his right hand (lol) man, still makes him go because, “theres plenty of broads here who’ll dance with ya”

And when Lefty is spending time out in the lot, instead of inside the gym with everyone else, Lucky comes looking for him. I think he would notice when Lefty is upset or deterred, given his typical upbeat personality.

I think that Lefty would babble about how he hasnt felt right and that he thinks somethings up with him, maybe eating those hotdogs from the gasstation all the time isnt a good idea.

But Lucky gets it.

Nothing big happens, Lucky pulls him in by his shoulder, both boys far more snazzy-looking than they ever did on a regular day. They would take things really slow, so much so that no one even hardly has an inclination that they might be together for a WHILE. It would probably take an observation from Vance, i imagine, being queer himself.

I actually love to imagine that Vance catches Lucky bringing Lefty lunch and cigarettes, and its like that scene in spongebob where spongebob realizes squidward likes krabby patties LMAOOO

I feel like they would have a VERY sweet relationship, very casual around the other greasers, like best friends who are joking about bikes and then they start smooching. They might be more careful in public, especially on their side of town, where some less-than-tasteful opinions are shared on minorities, but they would still be very much proud of their relationship :,3 these r two i could see being highschool sweethearts and being fiances/married in the future.. sighs queerly

This is a pairing i love because its so sweet, but also so tragic just generally because of their statuses and reputations :((( 💔

I think this interest would start on Parkers end, honestly! He seems very sweet, compared to a lot of the Preps. He is also a hopeless romantic at heart, and always dreams of having someone to take care of and make happy, regardless of gender, really.

I think Parker would notice how he feels about Tad very clearly. He realizes that he’s hoping to spar with Tad more often, urging to his friends that “Tad needs the practice with someone who believes in him!” and they all look at him like. What Do You Mean By That..

And then when Tad comes around with bruises that didn’t originate from their matches, Parker worries. It’s summer, so, the sunglasses on Tad’s head arent exactly unusual for the weather, persay, but unusual for HIM.

Parker knows he can’t exactly beat Mr. Spencer till he sees jesus, so he settles for making Tad comfortable. Parker wears sunglasses, anytime Tad does.

I think that they would be very secretive, considering that their families both want them to grow up, take over companies, and marry a woman, who might or might not be blood related to them. That idea is distasteful to both, of course, so they spend their alone time in the boxing ring, or in Parker’s room at the Harrington house, dreaming of an intertwined life in the City.

Besides, they know they arent the only ones sharing a bed on occasion behind these walls.. (cough theyre all gay)

These two would probably have an exclusive, secret relationship in highschool, break up for college and to maintain their secret, and would end up inevitably meeting again in their adult lives. I like to think that they would try to just have a friendship, but wouldn’t be able to ignore how intimate they used to be with one another.

Theyre both so silly looking. Reminds me of “we’re pretty cute for two ugly people” 😭

I think that Justin has a big fat disgusting crush on Ted Thompson. He is REVOLTED and so inlove.

I like to think that Justin possibly played football as a child, or has an interest in it. Maybe this is just because he wants to grow closer to Ted, but i can actually see him wanting to play football on occasion.

He would go to football games, insisting to his friends that he was going to watch the Jocks fail, and to pull pranks, however, no one ever sees him doing…any of that.

Usually, hes perched in the bleachers, eyes trailing a body on the feild as they pound down other players and the rival. He’s kind of obvious, but he will always deny any sight of him pining.

Justin keeps a journal much much like a girl. I dont mean boys dont have journals, but Justins is solely for all his queer thoughts and gossip when Gord is busy and can’t listen to him bitch through a glass of brandy.

This journal has plenty of daydreams of Ted written in it, handwriting messy in the areas where Justin felt particularly embarrassed to feel this way, almost like if he wrote it sloppy enough, it wouldn’t be eligible, therefore, not real!!!

I think being a jock, the school would have Ted put in Art class and shop class, to try and level out his education and make sure it wasn’t all football.

Therefore, Justin and Ted get paired one fateful day for an art project. They have to do portraits of eachother. Both are very ticked about it, but.. maybe moreso ted, than Justin, because he has way too much fun during those couple of days.

He has an excuse to sit with Ted Thompson! And Talk to him!!! Oh me oh my!

And he does just that, he talks his way into sitting with Ted at lunch, and convinces him that they really need to finish this project, considering Ted’s grades are constantly suffering when he isn’t paying nerds to do his work.

Ted is a tough guy, and everyone knows it, its painted on his face. However, when Justin finishes his portrait a day or so later, Ted is stood infront of him, face looking dumb as ever. Because, justin is a great artist. He wishes the kid could have done his highlights with the way he captures him on lead-smudged sketch paper.

And Ted asks to keep it! Justin is extremely stupid in love and obviously accepts, running off to the Harrington house to bury himself in his bed and scream.

I think they would have a rlly cute back and forth non-exclusive thing going on..Justin insists on studying with him to get his grades up, alone, in Ted’s dorm room, of course :3 Ted walks him around sometimes because hes just sure that Justin will run his mouth to someone who would take it way personal, Justin constantly quips that he can handle himself, but never deters the Jock when he comes around to chaperone Vandervelde to his locker.

I spent an hour yesterday trying to find an ask I sent once upon a time about the "Childhood friends to lovers pipeline" with Vil and Jack but alas, tumblr won't let me find it so I guess I'll ask you two about your thoughts on it again encase any ideas have changed? Hi again! And sorry for the late reply, I wanted to find that ask you’ve mentioned and I finally did. Here it is! Also here is our very old hc post about these two, but you’ve seen it already: I linked it in my previous reply to you too lol

Not a lot has changed since my last reply, because we didn’t really have a chance to dive deeper into their relationship, so I’m writing this with pretty much the same mindset that I had 2 months ago. That being said, these two deserve more love, so I’ll give you 3 more headcanons.

A flashback-y one, a general one and a spicy one.

There were rumors about Jack and Vil being lovey-dovey with each other even before they kissed for the first time when they were kids. And the other kids wouldn’t dare to say it in their faces because they were kind of terrified of both of them, but there were some nasty things said about them behind their backs. It never bothered Jack, but he was worried that it might bother Vil. Vil’s reaction to that was to start holding Jack’s hand all the time when they were playing outside, so he also took it well… or was just being provocative lol But he still got shy when Jack smooched his cheek in front of some bullies.

At the end of their early morning jog, Vil sometimes kisses Jack on the cheek before going back to his dorm. When Jack got used to it, Vil suddenly stopped doing that because he wanted to see if Jack would start going for a kiss himself or address it in any way. Jack couldn’t address it, because it was too embarrassing… but grabbing Vil’s shoulders and pulling him closer to kiss him on the lips certainly wasn’t!

One time when they were having sex, Jack got so aroused that he actually bit Vil’s neck. He covered it with his mouth entirely too, really went animalistic for a moment there. And then he immediately felt embarrassed about it and wanted to stop (there is no way Vil wouldn’t get mad at him doing that), but couldn’t, because he felt Vil’s hand on his head that made him sink his teeth even deeper into his skin. Vil doesn’t remember doing that though, maybe because he reached the orgasm at that exact moment.

Always the silliest photos with the last picture being a big smooch (it’s staying that way)

She also takes photos of you! She doesn’t believe they are that good but you love them. Killjoy is pretty damn good at whatever she does, and that includes photography

She’s also good at modelling for photos. You’ve done a few photoshoots with her to test compositions and have fallen in love with multiple results.

You love figuring out ways to contrast the environment against Killjoy’s hair due to how bold the dark colour is.

Your favourite photo of her is when she was happily posing with a new robot she created. Her smile was so bright you could see it from the moon!

RAZE

She noticed the polaroid photo you kept in your phone case and asked to see it, then ensued a conversation on how she always wanted one but never ended up biting the bullet and buying one.

You had multiple cameras so why not let her borrow it?

You were shocked when she said she ran out of film so quickly and begrudgingly got her more (not without grilling her on how expensive it is for damn polaroid camera film)

Your favourite photo of her is when you hit up the city together and found an amazing graffiti wall. It was golden hour and the way the sun made her glow meanwhile she had a bunch of diverse and cool art behind her? The best.

NANOBOMB

Killjoy and Raze dramatically gasped when you suggested photos of the three of you during a date

It wasn’t so much the photo suggestion as much as the big beefy camera that got them gasping

“What?! Y/n that camera is amazing!”

Killjoy has to gently inspect it while Raze peers over your shoulder

You love taking photos of the two of them together, however Killjoy and Raze HATED that you were never in the nice photos unless they were selfies

The two invested in the same type of camera you had together and learnt how to use the model just so you could finally be in fancy photos too!

It was a lot of fun when the three of you compared the photos you took that day, as each of you had your own individual style of photography and technique

Raze loved to capture cool poses with backgrounds that also stood out

Killjoy appreciated a cohesive scene. Colours had to look good together and it had to make sense otherwise it wasn’t her best work

You appreciated getting photos of life itself. Your photos weren’t majorly posed for, but rather spontaneous snaps you take throughout the day

Your favourite picture was a whole photo collage that you three made together using all the photos taken throughout the year, each of you getting one third of the collage

STABFEST 2022 WRAPPED

GREETINGS, STABBERS

Last year was the debut of our precious child, DeanCas StabFest (FUNSIZED), and in the very humble opinion of the mods, it was a smashing success! we promised to bring you guys some stats to explore how the fest went down.

NB: The data is skewed more towards the fic, rather than the art. we know this, and we are sorry. we love love LOVE all the artists, and want to explore all that metadata as well, but we also want to protect copyright. The metadata for the fic is accessible manually from AO3 (the mods have been toiling in the spreadsheet mines for weeks), or was provided to us by the participants via the masterpost form. However, getting more metadata on the art would require us to feed the full images into an analysis program, and we just can't trust that data won't be misused.

The art metadata that is present in this Wrapped was attained either by human eyeball, or by using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.02, which was released on March 5, 2001 and does not have online capabilities. It has plenty of other capabilities, okay. Do not underestimate the grampa software. There is a HOT WAX filter. Also it was paid for ONCE. none of that subscription crap. suck our dicks adobe

NB2: STABFEST WRAPPED is not about competition (except for competing to make StabFest 2023 even more unhinged than 2022.) We are not ranking the participants; we are lining everyone up to give them a smooch on the forehead. There will be a few individuals mentioned here and there, but every team has oodles and oodles of data that we've been crunching, and everyone was part of making DeanCas StabFest 2022 into this handsome, virile beast.

Alright, let's go!

Pitcher, Catcher? Author, Artist?

DeanCas StabFest 2022 (Fun-sized!) had 33 teams: 27 in the regular bang and 6 in the reverse bang. 31 authors and 25 artists participated. Three people participated as both author and artist, leading to a total of 53 participants. One person was on multiple teams as an author and four people were on multiple teams as artists.

Author/Artist switch hitters: KaylieMalinza (teams 4, 10, 12, 27, 200, and 600), Maple (teams 28 and 15) and Swirlycloud (teams 16 and 20.)

Mega Author: MBQ (teams 13, 14, and 15)

Mega Artists: Biscuit_tin (teams 100, 21, and 13), Lauryn T. (teams 22 and 27) and Mortea (teams 19, 25, 500, and 700.)

(yes, the two participants who were on the most teams (5 and 4) are the mods, but this was a pinch hitter/oh god the reverse bang is too smol situation okay don't look at us like that this isn't like the scene in chocolat where the antagonist breaks into the candy shop and gorges on everything this was SACRIFICE for the SAKE OF THE FEST. also it was fun and the mods regret nothing.)

What It Says On The Tin

Of the 33 teams, 22 of them showed STAB in the artwork and 7 of them referenced STAB in the fic title. (this was interpreted fairly loosely--if the STAB was imminent or the aftermath was visible in the art, and if the title held any mention of stab, cut, slice, etc. we counted it as a yes.) Of the 26 fic which did not reference STAB in the title, 3 did reference the stabbing implement.

You Must Be This Tall To Ride

Of AO3's four ratings, the majority of the fic were rated Teen and Up, and the next most common rating was Mature. There was only one brave fic rated General Audiences--but that may have more to do with people rating higher than needed out of caution. No one wants a nastygram from a puriteen who thinks Disney is too risque and scary for children. Anyway--the MPAA doesn't give official ratings to fanfic. We go on vibes, and reader beware.

Yeah, I Figured That Much. What Are You?

Of the artwork, 22 of the entries were digital art, 10 were traditional/physical, and 1 piece appeared to be mixed physical and digital (we were guessing on traditional vs digital art and may have gotten it wrong sometimes! sorry.) A 1:2 ratio of traditional to digital was a very pleasant surprise.

The STICKERS had a pretty good spread, too, with notable outliers being only 1 team receiving the Rebar of Shame and a whopping 18 teams receiving the Cannon of Canon Complicity. In total, 50 stickers were awarded. Special shout out to MBQ, who managed to qualify for every sticker across their three entries. The Rebar of Shame would have been so lonely without you.

Weapon of Choice

Speaking of rebar, there was a tasty variety in the stabbing implements used. 8 teams had multiple implements, leading to a total of 41 implements. Far and away the most used implement was a knife--5 instances of the OG demon knife, and an additional 14 knives of various types--cooking, hunting, ka-bar, etc. , for a total of 19. The runner up was the angel blade, clocking in at 5 instances, with arrow and sword coming in behind at 3 and 2 instances, respectively. The most exciting implements, however, are those which were unique, only one instance each.

Of all the implements, we estimate that 34 of them were used for their intended purpose--needle, syringe, and scalpel, for example--with 8 very special implements being employed "off label."

We can beat those numbers this year, team!

Let's make 2023 StabFest off label AF.

According to the Lore

Of the AO3 tags, it should come as no surprise that there were 33 iterations of STAB, and 30 iterations of Castiel/Dean Winchester (tabulated separately from Castiel & Dean Winchester--some fic were tagged with both.) The Sam Winchester character tag also showed up 19 times (not including variants such as "Injured Sam Winchester," pairing tags, or, a mod favorite, "pray for sammy.") Canon made an appearance in 22 tags--including Canon-Typical Violence as well as Canon Elements, Canon Compliant, etc. Angst and Blood showed up in 11 and 12 tags, respectively.

A few more tags were cherry picked for the chart below; including every tag would be very difficult, since the 33 fic were tagged with a staggering total of 372 unique tags.

The mods would like to give a special shout out to the freeform tags. They were delightful in situ and tantalizing out of context. Here are our top ten favorites, in no particular order:

a frankly concerning number of references to Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah (All That Remains, by DoctorProfessorSong)

author was craving s'mores while writing this (Hunger Pains, by Followsthebees)

copious use of frog analogies?? (apologue of the boiling frog, by howldean)

dean is re-hymenated and as smooth as a baby's bottom (Rescue Burrito, by KaylieMalinza)

But Dean Forgives Him Because He's Smitten (Just Like Knitting, by FriendofCarlotta)

cas has a metaphorical c-section in here and that’s all you need to know (Fill Thyself with the Word of God, by themauvesoul)

Sam and Cas come up with a crazy idea and Dean counts to ten in the background. (The Good Old College Try, by silver_penny)

Cas triggers his own trauma by jerking off to the wrong thing (eros and thanatos, by autisticandroids)

My True Form is Approximately The Size of Your Chrysler Building

As StabFest is FUN-SIZED, it should come as no surprise that most of the fic had fairly low word counts. With a required minimum of 1,500, 5 fic were between 1,500 and 2,500 words, and 8 were between 2,500 and 3,500. With a grand total word count of 183,643 spread across 33 fic, the average word count is 5,464--but since the median was only 4,397, then clearly the three fic with word counts over 15,400 were outliers adn should not have been counted.

The stab-free zone between 10k and 15k requires further study. 🧐

The art sizes had no measurable minimum--the rules just stated one art piece minimum, with no details about dimensions, resolution, etc. Some curious numbers shook out, though.

The width of the pieces ranged from 500 to 2048 pixels, with a median of 1280. The height ranged from 386 to 4716, with a median of 1280. (NB: some artists did multiple pieces for a single team, such as a main art piece and a banner, or multiple main art pieces. E.g., that 4,716 comes from three pieces of 1572 pixel height being combined.) In total, the StabFest art from all 33 teams is 36,433 pixels wide by 41,378 pixels tall. Perhaps some enterprising soul can convert that to football fields.

File size, as reported by Windows Explorer, ranged from 49.1kB to 4670kB with a median of 638.5kB. Bear in mind that some of these pieces would have been resized by tumblr or another hosting service, and of course, multiple pieces for the same team are added together. The total size, based on the files currently available, is 25630.08kB, or 25.63MB.

Certain People, Special People, Can Perceive My True Visage

What's most fun is the little option is Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.02 to show the number of unique colors. These ranged from a minimum of 11,323 (The art for Forest Fever) to a maximum of 894,465 (the art for Light Me Up With Your Ardent Sword--hi res versions available on AO3), with a median of 95,293. You'd think the sum of the unique colors would be HUGE--and yes, if you add up all the numbers you get a whopping 4,616,209--but of course there's going to be a lot of overlap.

After combining all the StabFest art into a single MEGAZORD, like the Power Rangers, we see that the number of unique colors is much smaller: 2,272,549. That means there are 2,343,660 colors which are shared by at least two entries. Isn't that sweet? It's like the art is holding hands.

How it works:

We have our prompts divided into three categories. The first is a type of kiss, the second is a location, and the third is an identity pairing. For this challenge, you will choose one item from each category (or from as many or as few categories as you like; we're flexible). You can either choose from the list yourself, or you can let fate decide:

Here's an online random number generator you can use. Remember to set your max number according to the instructions below.

Step 1. Type of Kiss. Generate a random number between 1 and 71. Step 2. Location of Kisses. Generate a random number between 1 and 65. Step 3. Identity of Kissees. Generate a random number between 1 and 18. Step 4. Find your numbers in the chart above to assemble your prompt. For example, if your numbers are 2, 3, and 5, your prompt will be "palm kiss," "by the Seine," "Viperion x Marinette." So your challenge would be to write or draw a Vipernette palm kiss where some part of the story/scene takes place by the Seine.

Bonus: For an extra challenge, you can roll your random number generator again to select an AU (1-6) and/or mood (1-5) for your prompt!

Rules

This is meant to be fun and inspiring! If you don't like your first random prompt, generate another! If you don't feel like dealing with a category, skip it. We want you to challenge yourself, but enjoy yourself as well, and if that means you need to bend the guidelines a little bit, go for it!

This is a Lukanette blog and a Lukanette event, so while Lukanette does not need to be the main ship, it needs to at least be included or referenced and considered endgame (in other words, they don’t have to be together by the end of your work, but the intent is that they’re headed in that direction). The decision about what qualifies for reblog rests solely with the LBSC moderators. If a piece hasn’t been reblogged within a couple of days, either the mods felt the piece didn’t meet the criteria or it was simply missed; you are welcome to reach out in the asks to inquire which. There are plenty of other spaces out there for other ships and OT3s, and people are welcome to use the challenge rules and prompts to write for their own ships! They just won’t be reblogged to the LBSC blog, and we ask that you please not use the event tag (a modified form is fine - “InsertAlternateShipName smooch roulette challenge” instead of “LBSC smooch roulette,” for example).

I hope you spent the day filled with joy and smiling constantly and got what you wanted on your wish list! After 3 years I finally got my iPad Air and Apple Pencil!! I’ll finally be able to draw and hopefully do commissions to make a bit of money off of it! (My art rlly isn’t the best but I feel so guilty knowing my father spent so much T_T) I ALSO DID IN FACT BAKE COOKIES!!! >.< they came out amazing and I’m so happy my baking skills are improving! Just imagining fragile!reader slowly improving thanks to the help of Zandy and him making sure they don’t over exert themselves when they cook or bake. Especially since he makes sure you take breaks if you’ve been standing for a long time. Is him forcing you to sit down also a silly excuse for him to cuddle on your lap and bury his face into your chest as you softly brush your hands through his fluffy hair? Perhaps, but you wouldn’t mind it at all!

I love you so much smooches I wish I could give gifts to you because trust me I would spoil you to no end sweetheart <3 I hope you continue to spend the rest of your winter break with smiles and laughter!! m giving you so many cuddles n chu chus as a gift, despite me always giving them. Hehe!

i also loved to grind for cash in dol LOL but it was mostly just for the millionaire vrelcoin achievement. because theres nothing i love more than meaningless achievements in viddy games😔then once i got it i just spend it on literally anything because money just becomes a non-factor lol

but also thanks for giving me an excuse to talk about Hades. you will regret this. under the cut cause da post is long:

Hades is an indie roguelite game released a couple years ago! and literally I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this game im being serious rn. The storyline? Fucks. The music? Fucks. The art? Fucks. The characters? I need to fuck everyone so bad. The gameplay? I've never been more addicted to dying. and this game is fully voice acted like WHAT?????

In the game you play as Zagreus, son of Hades, and youre trying to escape from your house because you hate your dad and also to find your mom. but theres also tons of other characters with their own sub-plotlines AND there's a dating mechanic. there's honestly so much goddang content and the writing + voice-acting is totally solid!!

i'm not much of a Gamer™ myself and im usually pretty shit (or mediocre at BEST) in action-heavy games, but even i found hades to be super enjoyable :oo it did took some getting used to in the beginning, but after getting the hang of it and because of the game's natural progression it does get significantly easier. I think the game is really well-balanced, and no matter what weapon or boon you use its still really fun.

if i remember correctly back when the trailer dropped it caused quite a stir on twitter/tumblr because it looked so good. And guess what!! they're making HADES 2 BABEY!!! but that comes out in early access next year i think.

so yeah. check it out if you want! or maybe later if you have finals. because I will admit that sometimes.....when i couldve been drawing or doing something productive. i was not. because i was playing hades. so um. sorry guys.
