Lately I've been thinking about how each of Dottore's segments would cuddle you...

The Akademiya segment would be just as you remembered him. Grumpy and seemingly irritated at your advances, shooing you away as you hug him from behind. Despite all of his complaints, get him in the right mood and position and he'll be mad at you if you try to go. Also one of the only segments that would let you hold him, so enjoy that.

Webttore would be very fun and nice to cuddle, as long as you aren't trying to fall asleep. His arms around you are very tight all the time, he doesn't let up, but he also likes to change position a lot out of nowhere. Not to mention, he does like to talk a lot (which you love) so you'll be randomly flipped over or to the side in the middle of a conversation if he feels like it. Also, the biting of course. Cuddling is supposed to be relaxing but being in such close proximity to you makes him want to make it the opposite.

Boattore (yes :3) is somehow more docile than the other segments which already is a contradiction, putting "docile" and "Dottore" in the same sentence, but his gentle and softer voice when speaking to you says it all. So he is the other biggest chance you'll have at being the big spoon while cuddling, if that's something you're interested in (although it is still quite minuscule.) His favorite way to cuddle you is to have your back pressed against his chest and his head on top of yours. Very soft, recommend.

Omega seems to have adjusted the way he holds you based on your current mood. Ever the analyzing segment, the countless times he's held you was not just for pleasure, but for research. Perhaps it is in his nature to provide an experience none others could compete with. Regardless, his cuddles always seem to be exactly what you need. It's kind of scary, to be honest, and no matter how much you try to pry into how he works, you never find out. He finds your concern rather amusing.

Zandy would find it most preferable to cuddle into your chest with your arms wrapped around him snuggly. For some reason, the sound of your heartbeat lulls him to sleep more than any bedtime story. He likes it very much when you hold him but finds it embarrassing to bother you every time he has a nightmare.

Can only think of reader and cuteness aggression with dottore... saying stuff like they just want to eat his cheeks while squishing the LIFE out of his cheeks. Doing this to different segments everyday, and saying they're so 'cute'...

What can you say? Dottore is just so cute. Yes, you really did just put that name and that word in the same sentence. Your husband(s?) are the cutest, so cute you can't handle it. From the way they glide their pointy teeth over their lips unconsciously when they're extra focused, to the way the older ones have to tuck back the long lock of hanging blue hair that hinders their vision, how the younger segments' laughs are so loudly unhinged, it fills you with glee. It's just too much - if you bottle it up, you fear you may explode. (Are you okay?)

Dottore and the segments still have yet to understand how you've come to that conclusion when you look at them. Yes, he knows you love him, but does that really necessitate such... strangeness? Even when he's covered head to toe, splattered with blood, you're still looking at him dreamily? Yet no matter how much he researches your brain he can't find the answer. No matter how much he tries to refute your sentiments, you always awe at him and proceed to attempt to squish his cheeks (to which he bats you away quickly). The biting, squeezing, and pinching of his and the segments' bodies while they're working has become the norm as well.

And Zandy loves it yet gets embarrassed by it after a while. Loves it because you're giving him attention but also you're hurting the poor kid's cheeks! And you're doing it in front of the others and they're silently making fun of him - please stop! His cheeks are red from embarrassment and your squishing!

Thinking about celebrating Zandy’s birthday…

As a child, Zandik’s birthday surely wasn’t celebrated, in fact he was probably treated worse on that day as it was the day the heretic came into this world. A cursed day. He had to watch all the other kids be filled with joy and glee with all the attention and gifts they received, not to mention how he was never invited to their birthday parties… 

And now, Zandy, his child self, also faces a similar situation. The boy reads books and stories about the wonders of birthdays and he too wishes to experience the same, as any child would, but he knows better than to bring up the topic with the segments or Prime. Still, every time his birthday rolls around, he hopes that it’ll at least be acknowledged. He’s wrong of course, but he’s grown used to disappointment. Until you come along.

Obviously, you’re deeply saddened when you hear the little child has never even received a “Happy Birthday,” much less celebrated it. So you make it your duty to see to it that Zandy has a multitude of good birthdays. You don’t let him know of your plans of course, you can’t wait to see the surprise on his face.

Perhaps appearing in the boy’s room at 12 AM and rousing him from his sleep wasn’t the best idea, but he sure seemed to like it! Blurry eyes adjusting to the brightness of the room, and then confused at why you’re in his room at this hour, and then his eyes drifting down to the cake in your hand, with a “Happy Birthday, Zandy!” written in the middle. The kid grabs onto you so hard you almost drop the cake. Despite waking up a mere few minutes ago, he seems to have all the energy in the world. He has a lot of fun blowing out the numerous candles you stuck in there (you had to help him because he couldn’t manage by himself.)

Needless to say, that was certainly one of Zandy’s favorite days ever. And he looks forward to your promise of taking him out of the lab on a future birthday. 

I feel like we don't talk more about how dottore feels about his s/o being zandy's parental figure, his younger self, no less. Like, he would feel a certain way when reader holds zandy like a parent would and cooing at him. When reader picks up zandy (when they've managed to gain that strength) from under the armpits and carry him like a child.

YES! In general, Dottore didn't expect you to become so attached to all of his segments. He anticipated you getting to know them and all, due to loneliness and other things, but you love them all very much. Which is a miscalculation on his part, he probably should have expected it with your nature. Though, he's not sure whether to be flattered or annoyed that your love for him runs that deep. If he had it his way, he'd keep all your attention on him... but you seem all too willing to divide your attention, despite there being only one of you and a dozen or so of them... He sort of applauds your management.

However, regarding Zandy his feelings seem unclear. It's clear that he created the segments to preserve his perspectives and help him further his knowledge, but there was no real relationship outside of that. However, for you, it's the opposite. Each relationship you have with the segments is unique, especially your one with Dottore's child self. At first, the Harbinger didn't pay much attention to it. But it became increasingly obvious how much you loved Zandy.

From the moment you met the kid, you chose to open yourself up to him fully without any reserve. You chose to indulge Zandy's every childish whim and listened to him, no matter how dumb it seemed. You chose to love him, something his birth parents didn't do even though they were supposed to. (And you choose to carry him in your arms despite lacking the strength... apparently, you promised him the first thing you'd do once you recover was to give Zandy a proper piggyback ride.) Is his child self truly that lovable? The same one deemed a monster, a heretic? If he looks at your actions, then the apparent answer is a resounding yes.

Still, despite these feelings, he doesn't say a word to you about them. He merely looks on contemplatively, still barely uttering any words to his child self. Maybe if you keep trying, you can get the two, so vastly different on the outside, yet perhaps similar on the inside, to become closer...?

Babey Zandy not knowing fragile reader is so precious.

He hears all about this mysterious person that all of his older versions adore, but he has no clue what they are going on about. He tends to avoid the mystery person's room to avoid tripping on something, so he's never seen them. He's never heard their voice. What's so great about some sleeping grown up?

But then he sees them. The one time he's allowed to go into the room, he's instantly starstruck. He's reminded of the fairytale he'd read about a royal that was cursed to sleep for a thousand years, and he figures that this person was what that royal must have looked like.

A few of the segments chuckle at the reaction the child has. Wide eyes, slack jaw, it's cute. But then Zandy turns and asks,

"This is who we marry when we grow up? Did we finally do something good?"

The segments collectively think that no, they hadn't done anything good. Not enough to deserve their lover, anyway. But the sleeping beauty still chose to love them. That was more than enough for the blue haired maniacs.

MY HEART BRO... MY HEART. THIS IS SO PERFECT. AMAZING. CUTE. I LOVE IT SM.

Little Zandy tends to be left out of the loop quite often. It's due to various reasons - the older segments not wanting to have to deal with him, or having to take the time to explain, or perhaps the topic matter isn't very kid-friendly (considering the kind of work they do). So, the little one is used to finding out things after the fact, unfortunately. You happen to be one of these topics.

What really interests Zandy is how the segments say your name. The boy is used to hearing them speak about others in contempt (that damn Regrator, wicked Damslette) or with no regard/care at all (test subjects) but you? You don't get either of those. Rather, you get your name spoken with affection. Like how his parents spoke to each other (only that he wasn't afforded that same treatment). So naturally he's intrigued, but confused. You've been sleeping for so long! How could someone who's sleeping be interesting? You can't even talk! But it seems that the segments don't mind, although they are quite sad, they're willing to wait, which is strange. And Prime is willing to talk enough for the two of you. Zandy hears him from the room sometimes. Still, the boy fails to understand what sort of appeal you have. But he is a curious one, so he begs and begs to be able to see you. And when he does, well, everything makes sense.

You're just so pretty! Right of out a fairytale! He can't help but run up to you and hold your hand, in awe. And though normally the segments would scold him for "getting in their way" but they don't this time. Because even though the brat can be annoying his reaction is rather amusing. And they don't want to raise their voices in your presence.

I imagine, when you do finally wake up, he begs for you to read that story for him 😭💗 he definitely reads the voice for the prince that saves the sleeping royal (you) and beats up the bad guys (celestia) 🥺

THEM BEING THANKFUL FOR YOU LOVING THEM... sobs

Okie wait 🥹, idk if this has been done yet but completely random question. how would Dottore and the other segments spend Valentine’s Day with fragile reader? 💝

There's no doubt Dottore was the kind of guy who'd scoff and roll his eyes at all the lovey-dovey couples in the Akademiya on Valentine's Day, watching the amount of PDA skyrocket as his classmates somehow became even more insufferable. For fuck's sake, the House of Daena is for studying, not for him to go behind a bookshelf and find a couple making out. So needless to say, even when he gets into a relationship with you, his perspective on it doesn't really change. He thinks the whole thing is dumb, really. Why should he feel the need to do all of this on one "special" day (only special by societal standards) to show his appreciation for you? He'll do it on any day, he doesn't care.

You find Dottore's annoyance with Valentine's Day kind of funny, but he actually does show his love for you throughout the long time you've spent together. Little gifts and trinkets here and there, doing things for you that you didn't ask for... his efforts do not need to be concentrated into a day for you to notice. And naturally, you returned his service with your own.

If you're the kind of person who likes Valentine's Day, then you definitely make Dottore and the segments chocolates! Even if you're not good at it, and you may have botched it a couple times, you still persevere for their sake! Making a whole box for each of them would be way too much work for little old you, but thankfully you have Zandy to help you. (He always gets the most chocolates in the end, the others don't know that though).

So while Dottore and the segments didn't really care about Valentine's Day, the first time you gifted them all with your homemade chocolate they suddenly became a lot more excited for the holiday. Especially if you decide to feed them the chocolate. Or decide to tease them by eating the sweet yourself and then kissing them so they can savor the taste. Very cheeky of you, but they love it. And of course, if Valentine's Day makes you pay even more attention to them, then who are they to complain? Maybe there is some more use to this day than they realized.

KITTEN ZANDY

Imagine the baby getting lost in the floof so he climbs up your pantleg just so he won't get trampled. If you're wearing a hoodie, he chills in your hood

(x) SMOL KITTEN ZANDY... poor little guy gets overshadowed and is currently cowering surrounded by the crowd of the much larger Cattores... Of course, there's simply no way you'd let him continue to get bullied like that. (Zandy kitty made it halfway up your leg before he got stuck and you had to safely retrieve him. The other Dottomeows copied him and you couldn't walk for a good while...) You keep Zandy kitty near you all the time, ignoring the very noticeable glares of the other Cattores that he's receiving so much more attention... he's still your favorite, even as a defenseless kitty eh? :3

Hello! Just dropping in with another silly question but what are dinner dates looking like with Zandik and the segments? Like if fragile reader was slowly getting better and decided to enjoy a little dinner date with one of the segments each, some not even going out but rather in a private dinning room within the place.

Though it sounds unbelievable to many, there's quite often a segment with you for meals, due to various reasons (shaky hands, lack of appetite/motivation, etc). Of course, over time their presence becomes less and less as you become healthier, however, it is certainly not what one calls a "date." Most of the time it's pretty much just you eating in peace while the segment attends to whatever work he needs to do while simultaneously keeping an eye on you. Which is why you wanted to change that up a bit, both you and your beloveds deserved a small break.

I don't think you would actually go anywhere with any of them. Both of you probably prefer being in the comfort of the lab much more (and also the effort of going out and dressing up and all... so much work... but here you can drag them to bed to cuddle right after! Yeah, is the lab kinda dreary and boring? Maybe, but you can spice it up! And it's the person in front of you that matters, after all.)

It'd be a pain to get Zandik himself to do this, he's always busy and locked up in his lab doing research and work... and furthermore, he barely eats... when he does, he does it too quickly and doesn't even savor the food properly, just so he can get back to experiments quicker. That's not proper for a dinner date! Not sure how you'd convince him, not very easy. Even if you do, it would be quite rushed and probably not what you wanted.

It would be a very special occasion whenever an actual dinner happens. Even though you two would have a lot of a lot of time, he would find it difficult to sit and simply eat for so long. He thinks of his segments and their work. However, just keep your hand placed on his and try to divert his attention. Getting him to start ranting about his projects is pretty easy. Once he gets into the atmosphere, he seems to forget this is a dinner date rather than a chatting one (still eats the cold food like it's no problem).

It's easier to get the segments to do this, mostly because they're vying for your attention as they don't get much from you sometimes...

Omega is by far the most suave with it. He wipes your face when you have something near your mouth, and he helps you recover from joking when he says something that makes you embarrassed. Also forces you to eat the vegetables. Webttore, well, it's pretty chaotic. The "romantic" aspect of a dinner date is lost on him. Be prepared to defend your dessert against him, he will try and take it. The Akademiya segment wouldn't have much of a taste for a good dinner, having become used to hardly edible stuff, but he would appreciate it the most if you cooked for him. His notes are always present at dinner, something that reminds you of being a student with him four hundred years ago. Of course, he'll let you read them if that's what you wish. (Please engage in intellectual conversation with him about them.)

The only segment that you can have an actual dinner with every day really is little Zandy. The conversation is always sweet and fun when you're with the child. However, sometimes you need to remind him to eat before the food gets cold or not to speak with his mouth full...

I like to imagine that fragile reader was originally kind of terrified of the clones at first and avoided them as much as possible by clinging to Zandik because you have to admit waking up after a long ass time to see that your lover now has copies of him running about like it's normal is jarring. And the clones are just like 😶 because they are literally crushed,, for countless years they've waited for their love to wake up and now that you're awake you don't even want to look at them. A few test subjects are accidentally killed out of annoyance 🤕

Ahem. Enter child Dottore (Zandy) 🥺 who just throws your initial fears out the window. Like, how could a clone be so cutie patootie? 😭❤️ After getting to know him you decide to extend the same opportunity to the rest of the clones, which leads to great relationships with them. As much as they don't like babysitting the brat, he's done something useful!

Hi I’ve been thinking about more of fragile reader sewing for the segments 🥰

Aw like reader decides to sew a blue fox onesie for zandy and he just has a cute little pouty face the whole time because it’s itchy and he knows if the other segments see him they will surely tease him about it.

Pantalone notices readers passion for sewing and decides to commission reader for a scarf. This would lead to Dottore and the other segments like “where’s mine?”

Or foxtorre having one of the buttons on its onesie pop off so reader decides to sew it back on. I like to think when reader first meets the little pufftorres they try to sew them little bow ties on so they could recognize and name each one, but more and more appear so reader eventually gives up.

AWW YES... Honestly not just the onesie for Zandy, you try to make him some more clothes as well because to be honest all the segments have one outfit, but multiple pairs... 💀 You want the baby to have fun picking out his outfits!! But ahh poor Zandy... he makes you keep the doors locked so no one else can come in and if they do he dives underneath the covers and refuses to come out... like he really loves you so much and appreciates the gesture but!! It's embarrassing! Please just hold him and read him a story instead 😔 (I WILL MAKE IT NOT ITCHY FOR HIM!!!)

Pantalone who commissions the scarf even though he has like a couple dozen already because one, he really does like supporting you, and two, he wants to annoy the other Dottores with the fact that you made something for him. The internal jealousy would burn them up. You would probably do it for free considering you don't really have much else to do but Pantalone insists on paying you for your hard work. You just have some grumpy segments eying you the whole time... they don't even need a scarf considering they can control their body heat. Some of them barely even leave the lab. But you know, they're petty and all. Well, you know what your next project is...

READER MAKING BOWTIES FOR THE PUFFTTORES OH MY GOSH... THAT'S SO CUTE!! Ah you would make so many cute designs for them... however eventually unbeknownst to you the pufflings began fighting among themselves over the bowties so the original creature you gave it to isn't even the one who wears it now...

About the post where you've said that Zandy is gonna be all blubbering and crying if he finds out you're gonna leave him sooner or later, I literally want to elaborate more on that omg..

I feel like fragile!reader would try and convince the segments not to tell Zandy, but the word eventually gets out.

By who, you might ask? By the Fatuis that constantly gossip outside Dottore's office. Ughh I just want to hold Zandy and reassure him while he sobs in my arms guys.

...LEAVE ZANDY ALONE PLEASE... he's been through ENOUGH! But omg :(( Fragile reader tries very very hard to protect him from the harsh reality of their situation. I imagine, Zandy knows you're sick, but perhaps he doesn't quite grasp the severity. Yeah, he knows you were sleeping for a really long time but, you're at least a bit better now, right? He doesn't know how much pain you go through, because you refuse to show it in front of the child, and you beg the segments to leave him in the dark out of goodwill. You don't want him to share your burden, he's just a little kid after all, he should be having fun and making only good memories with you! So you make a conscious effort to spend lots of time with Zandy... on only your good days. But of course all your hard work had to be undone... you know, you like listening to the Fatui gossip every now and then, they do have some good juicy info, but did they have to do it so obviously?!

"Did you hear? Apparently [Name]'s condition is growing worse by the day."

"What? How do you know? I rarely see them."

"You have your answer right there. To be honest, they actually used to chat with me every now and then... but now, they seem too tired to keep up even a conversation. I know I shouldn't be saying this but... the poor thing."

"You know, I always wonder if Lord Dottore will be able to cure them."

"Don't be silly. Lord Dottore can do anything. And you better not let anyone else catch you saying that either."

Let's just say these few sentences put a lot of fear into Zandy's heart. What do they mean? Are you really that sick? Does that mean you're going to die? He heads to your room without a second to spare and in no time you have a wailing Zandy clinging to you, dishing out very alarming questions that make your heart ache for him. No little one, do not fret. Sure, you may be a little sick, but you're never going to leave him! You're always going to be right here, albeit a bit, just a bit, weak and ill, you reassure him. He doesn't leave your arms that night and eventually, you two go to sleep in that position :( Zandy becomes a lot more conscious and observant of you after that, and you feel really bad for making him go through all that, but that just shows how much the little boy cares for you. I imagine he tries to read complicated textbooks about medicines and illnesses, just for you 🥺 (although he can understand some of it, he's a little genius after all, there are many things he doesn't... you make him put those books away and reassure him to focus on other things.)

Hello :) I feel like sharing my ideas that sparked from your blog, so here I am. Reader begins to see Zandy as their son and treating him as such. They want Zandy to be happy so they make a conscious effort to spend a lot of time with him. Segments are both jealous and happy that Zandy gets to actually be a child.

You didn't expect to get attached to Zandy so much but when you think about it, it was inevitable! How could you not! You can't pinpoint when you started acting so much like a parent to him, but he was just a bundle of cuteness you wanted to protect, especially after everything the poor child had already suffered through. You want him to eat, to go to bed on time (even though as a segment, these things don't affect him) to play with toys and run around, to be a kid! To have the childhood he was stripped of. You just want him to have a positive figure in his life. And you'll happily fulfill that role for him.

Zandy would be so happy at how sweet you are. He's probably never been told "I love you" before so whenever you do that, he's definitely a mixture of emotions - happiness for sure, but of course, being told all his life from his blood parents he'd never be loved does a lot to a child's mind. You'd have to hold him and reassure him, but after a while, he gets much more comfortable with it and will start returning the words whenever you say them.

Obviously, the segments are very jealous of the attention Zandy gets, he has become completely spoiled by you and the kid has come to realize it after a while. Zandy gets a little bit cheeky at times and sticks his tongue out at the older segments when you cradle him in your arms. Though maybe, you're healing a part of them as well, seeing as they were all a child once too. Just someone who wanted to be accepted and loved by others, but was shunned and thrown away. So seeing Zandy, being loved so unconditionally, not being treated like a monster like they once were... well, maybe it's not so bad. Maybe. They still scoff and mutter at how the brat gets that much special treatment. They deserve that much attention too!

just thinking abt giving Zandy his good first Christmas after you woke up

like he had never experinced a loving family or any of that kind, and certainly not holidays. Zandik hadn't too, you remember that clearly, you dragged him out to get this and get that, made him watch you bake cookies and such because you didn't want him to somehow mess them up.

so... you tried to do that again but with Zandy instead, ofc you couldn´t tell him about 'Santa Claus' and stuff like that, he'll just tell you many reasons why that would be impossible and so on. but you did make an effort to make him gifts, several for each segment infact. now you might say that would be unreasonable bc they could just go and buy it instead, but you made everything yourself, and they wouldn't even try to complain or get a replacement anyway.

(you also asked threatened the other segments and even prime to get him(Zandy) a present as well, or you might just give them on less than everyone else. they, of course, easily obeyed not wanting the others getting more affection than them.)

SOBBING MAKING ZANDY'S FIRST CHRISTMAS ONE TO REMEMBER... 😭 Ahh so cute,, you just want to make the precious bb happy!! You know very well how Zandik never had anything nice during his childhood, you know you can't do anything to go back fix that, you can only make him feel loved now... letting him wrap his arms around you securely as he watches your every move very carefully (and has the gall to dictate you on the decisions. "You've used too much of that frosting. I want a different flavor." Also tries to eat them before they're done, the expression on his face when you first physically slapped his hand away was priceless. At least he gets to lick the spoon clean.)

But... maybe Zandy can live out the happy experiences a child should have anyway? (Making Zandy happy and also healing Zandik's inner child at the same time... </3) Of course, he gets the baking experience with you, he gets to decorate the tree with you too, you lifted him up and let him put the star at the top! Maybe if your health is good, he can make snow angels with you and have snowball fights! And the gifts, yes the gifts, you want Zandy to have the experience of excitedly ripping them open and marveling at the gift. Doesn't matter what it is either, Zandy is the type of bb who would appreciate anything. (Maybe you even get Pantalone, Childe, and Bina on the case!! They're fond of the child segment as well :3)

Haha, I imagine Zandy being a bit confused about why the segments are being so nice to him but the feeling is overwhelmed by the joy of all the gifts and attention... maybe this is the Christmas magic you told him about!

The other segments definitely brag about their gifts to each other... they make it a competition even though it's not supposed to be.

What about a gift the Reader would give him? We know that in his Akademiya years, Zandik was obsessed with ancient machinery from Khaenri'ah so... Imagine Reader gifting little Zandy a small ruin guard figurine 🥺 something like Childe gave Teucer in his story quest 🥺

Yes!! Zandy deserves nothing but the best every single day, especially on his birthday. And that is an amazing gift for our bb! I imagine child Dottore was similarly fascinated with Ruin Guards and the like but was never fully allowed to really research them until he entered the Akademiya. He'd always go into the forests and play with the nonfunctioning Ruin Machines.

Zandy shares this interest, the only difference he has yet to see one in real life... because the other segments don't allow him near those things. You, knowing of his desire to see with the machines, decide on the next best thing - a cute mini version of course! Bonus points if you give the child two of them as well - a mechanical one, handcrafted by you with many spare metal parts, and a plushie, sewed by you. The plushie is for cuddling and sleeping. The mechanical one is to keep him occupied as the thing can actually move and walk around (Dottore wished you put that much effort into actual important things. Zandy's birthday is important, you quip right back.)

I wish I could celebrate christmas with Dottore and his segments ommmggg.... IMAGINE all of the segments fighting to have their gift to you opened first 💀💀 full on brawls (while theyre all fighting Zandy comes up to reader and gives them his present LOL sneaky mf)

HOLIDAY SHENANIGANS WITH DOTTORE AND THE SEGMENTS!! <3 Ah you would have to be the one to convince him to do all this stuff... honestly, he considers the holiday spirit and traditions rather a waste of time and doesn't see the point, but, you look so happy and excited! And you've gotten little Zandy on your side too, telling him all the stories and sweet things people do on Christmas. Admittedly, gift-giving is not one of the segments' strong points, their idea of gifts is rather... well, very Dottore-like, if you know what I mean. But, you still treasure anything they give you, so they don't have that much of a problem! (Though you probably shouldn't answer their question if they ask you what you want. Because then you'll end up with like a dozen different copies of the same gift.) Also, they're very competitive when it comes to this. It's like a battle to see whose gift you liked the best, so please try to love all of them equally because you don't want to deal with an overly gloating segment. (Bb Zandy definitely does that!! Clever little boy taking advantage of the chaos to give his favorite person their gift! Ahh he probably did something handmade like a storybook for you and was worried that it wouldn't be as good since it has no monetary value but, you reassured him you love it dearly.)

NOOOO Prime being mean to the Puffttores as usual!! He picks the lil guys up by that strand of blue hair and hooks them to the tree... and watches as they miserably fail to get free... you immediately unhook the poor babies. If you think about it, your gift is probably like, the first gift they've ever received before. So they are ANTSY about what possibly it could be. One segment was caught trying to open his gift and you gave him a swift scolding. (AHH the image of you carefully wrapping all of their gifts and adding their name tag to each is sooo!!)

Mistletoe traps are a must as well. The minute you jokingly tell them about the tradition of kissing under it, suddenly they are placed in the most random areas of the usually grim lab. You brought this upon yourself.

You also bake some different sweets for them on Christmas morning as well! You leave the trays to cool for a few minutes but when you come back, everything is already gone. Sigh.

Reader just walks in one day and tells him the news and suddenly the lab goes QUIET aside from a test tube falling onto the floor.

WKBFEWF YES!! (Honestly im scared of pregnancy/birth irl but its dottore so its okay 😚) I imagine reader would be SO nervous and scared to tell him because well... their husband is IL DOTTORE after all. That's not exactly the ideal father material but... you still want to try! You love Dottore so much and you want him to try too. Honestly, Zandy was the first one to know! You probably sat him down and were like "You're going to be a big brother, Zandy!" And it took a little bit for him to process it before he started squealing and jumping in excitement... 😭 Well at least he took the news well but other other segments are going to be a whole different story, much less ZANDIK himself. You're kind of stressing out.

You contemplated telling him by himself but nowadays it was hard to do that considering how he was always doing something, and also telling the segments individually was going to be a hassle, so you just came out and said it. Now, when you said you had something "extremely important" to tell them, they were prepared for a lot of things but... certainly not that they were going to be fathers. The lab is so so silent before all hell breaks loose. You have the younger segments panicking and launching all sorts of questions at you while the older ones are just stunned and then ushering you to sit and hydrate and all of these things... but Zandik is just staring at you motionlessly. The shock hasn't worn off yet. When it's just you and Zandik, he's so quiet it has you very nervous until you ask him if he's mad... he's not but, he knows he wasn't meant to love in the first place, much less be a father. But you just hold him and tell him that he has you, and it may not be easy, but you believe he can do it.

You end up being pampered so much by the segments and Dottore it's kind of scary... like, the amount of checkups and attention was crazy before but now it's on a different level... they just want you and the baby to be healthy.

Oh gosh Pantalone teases Dottore SO MUCH. Columbina as well, they tease him about how he loves his kid soooo much (he got mad at Childe for spending too much time with them.) Speaking of Childe he's actually sweet enough to help teach you a lot of things, since he has experience and all... :) The segments, well, obviously they are not good with kids either but, this is your kid, and in a way, their kid as well... they try, at the very least. They won't let anything harm them. Also, the kid's first word probably ends up being something science related because they always listen to the segments babble on about that stuff... 😭

Your kid always has their stuffed toy with them to cuddle... (it's Foxttore of course, what can be better than that?!) Dottore probably shows his love by creating all these toys for the kid to be occupied...
