I miss you blockbuster I miss you cds I miss you little buttons that played song previews in walmart I miss you vhs tapes I miss you blocky tv with rabbit ears that only had 10 channels I miss you scratched dvds from the library I miss you envelopes of developed photos from a film camera I miss you flip phones covered in stickers I miss you physical media

#edit for clarification: I do still engage in physical media. i know many of these things are still around today #i still buy cds and vinyl and read paper books from the library and I own a film camera #this is moreso about the culture as a whole shifting to value convenience over experience #listening to cds on my own will not change the culture back to when physical media was the norm for everyone #I’m a nostalgia-ridden person there’s a specific feeling I’m missing that I can’t achieve by myself #g

au where mu qing takes hua cheng's challenge, loses and is the only god to fullfill ghost's demands and give up his status (he does it with pride of course).

so he steps down, cuts his hair and vanishes for a couple of decades leaving feng xin his territory (the other god is mad and heartbroken again).

in his banishment he starts thinking about his life if he ever even wanted to be a god. his mother has been dead for years now and he doesn't have to worry about his income anymore so maybe starting over is not a bad thing?

(meanwhile hua cheng keeps following him displeased with how easily mu qing accepted his lose.)

I’ve basically been dead as far as online presence and art is concerned, mostly due to keeping busy with life stuff. There is currently a recently spayed cat wearing a shirt in my house, I’m playing houseplant musical chairs, that kind of stuff.

can you imagine how both the gotham rogues and jason must've felt during the events of gotham war?

here all the rogues are, people who've hurt and killed thousands. a lot of them barely show regret for their actions and are repeat offenders. they're considered the worst of the worst by gotham's citizens. yet here comes batman, a man who strongly believes in rehabilitation and endless chances for all criminals. every time he puts the rogues in prison, he doesn't talk to them like they're animals and ensures they know he believes in them becoming better.

but then they hear about what batman did to the red hood- how he took away red hood's autonomy and completely violated his rights. they hear about how batman made it so that red hood only feels crippling fear when he feels adrenaline- that batman is doing it for red hood's own good.

and they wonder what batman sees in the red hood to see someone beyond rehabilitation. they wonder how batman believes in people like them, people who repeatedly kill indiscriminately, if he only sees the worst in the red hood, someone they know who doesn't hurt others like they do.

imagine how jason feels, realizing that he is the one person batman doesn't believe in rehabilitation for. that batman considers him more of a problem than his other rogues- that he's the one who needs his autonomy taken away compared to someone like the joker.
