OMG I I wgehejej I was writing a post about some soulmate AU and and while writing it just occurred to me-
Both Jean and Marco lost their gear during Trost. They both got in a situation where a Titan was going to kill them while having nothing to protect themselves.
Marco was there to help Jean get hold of a gear and survive. Jean wasn't there for Marco aka why he died.
Omg. I'm not crying you are

the latest post was real funny lmaoo, do u think u could also write abt the 2nd and 3rd years finding out the prefect is a girl? doesn't have to be immediate, take ur time <3
Second Years Find out You’re a Girl?!?!? (NOT CLICKBAIT)
TW: Swearing; You have a smell (Ruggie); Floyd and Jade; Bunni can’t write Silver lol
Info: Ruggie, Jade, Floyd, Jamil, and Silver x Reader (Separate; Platonic/Romantic)
🍓Hiiii. Skip the intro if this isn’t ur first rodeo and buckle up cowboys (and cowgirls, and cowtheys, and cows). There is a notable lack of third years and dorm leaders because!!! They get their own part rip. I will (eventually) add links to the other parts, but I have a lot of homework to catch up on from being sick all week so it has to wait :). BTW it's long, but each part is pretty even. Love you all enjoyyyyy <3
First Years
Ortho & Sebek
Third Years
Dorm Leaders
-Okay so, I know we’re all wondering, how the hell do you get away with hiding your gender for so damn long?
-Firstly, those ceremonial robes do great at hiding the figure. The only tell would maybe be your hair, but feminine men aren’t unwelcome at Nightraven College, so you mostly get a few questioning stares and that’s it.
-Secondly, Crowley wants to save his own fucking ass. He already has to hide from the press that he has a MAGICLESS student from ANOTHER DIMENSION here, he doesn’t need the fact that you are a woman ALSO on his plate. So, obviously, he helps you hide your gender from others.
-Grim knows, of course, and he keeps his mouth shut for a few yummy cans of tuna (and threats of being expelled from Crowley <3)
-Even when you were just a janitor, he couldn’t have the rumor that he put a “helpless” young woman to work. (Like it wouldn’t be expected.)
-So how do you two do it?
-Baggy ass uniform. Crowley gave you at least three sizes too big.
-Your figure is completely hidden. Sure, you look completely homeless, but at least you’re hidden.
-For your voice, you simply deepen it. After some point, you blackmail Crowley into giving you a potion to help with it, since it's so taxing on your voice. (Or maybe your voice is naturally deep!)
-Sam provides you (for an unfairly pretty penny (not too different from your original world…)) any feminine hygiene products you might need.
-Honestly, you’re set for being cared for, but it’s the adjustment period that’s the hardest part.
-Truly, it’s very jarring to suddenly be thrown into both a magical world and be isolated in a man's world with nowhere to hide.
-At least in your world you had other women who could understand your struggles. Here though? You’re completely alone.
-You notice how… messy some of these guys could be. How some of them smell… really rancid. -How rough they were with you and each other.
-Honestly, it’s kinda eye-opening. The way men show affection to each other is oddly refreshing to watch and experience!
-Ace and Deuce specifically are a good… trial run.
-That’s not what we’re here to talk about though…
-For the most part, it's incredibly easy to hide yourself for the first while on campus. Everyone on campus is so self-absorbed that they don’t bother questioning you.
-Your only real risk factor is Savannaclaw, but it's easy to avoid those guys (minus Jack, of course).
-However, you can only hide your gender for so long… It’s mentally draining to keep up this facade all the time around people you care about.
-So… how do they find out?
Ruggie
-Ruggie is… unique when compared to Jack.
-The three beastmen in the cast are all oddballs in this case, but I feel Ruggie is the oddest.
-See, Ruggie finds out nearly immediately. I’m talking like… first day when you and Grim set the school on fire immediately.
-It’s my personal belief that he has the strongest nose between Leona, himself, and Jack so he doesn’t have to be close to smell that something is different about you.
-Now he wasn’t sure for sure. The smell of a person, especially humans, has a lot of factors playing in them. Plus the fact that you’re… not exactly a normal member of Twisted Wonderland’s Society.
-But he had a hunch. That hunch was only confirmed when he decided to steal your sandwich for Leona.
-He got a nice big ol’ whiff of your smell, and he won’t lie and say it didn’t throw him off, for a second. He almost lost control of his spell on you.
-Luckily he didn’t, he got his sandwich and got away, but it left him with a lot to think about.
-(Bunni interjecting opinion here, my bad) See, Ruggie isn’t exactly afraid of the women in his cackle. They’re civilized people, after all, they’re not out there beating on every guy they see, but they are kind of intimidating.
-He was raised to respect and fear women by his granny, and he’s never really had anything that directly opposed that moral code impeded in him.
-That was until you started to get a little too involved in sniffing Leona and him out for injuring other students.
-Why couldn’t you keep that stupid little nose of yours where it belongs, huh? You’re making more trouble than it’s worth.
-Tries a ton of different ways to scare you off for your own good, but you are damn stubborn and Ruggie both hates and admires you for it.
-You figure he and Leona both know you’re a girl. Hell, Leona outright implies it every time he sees you (thank god your friends of choice are morons).
-Ruggie though? He looks at you weirdly. You can’t be sure, but he’s a bit more cautious around you. Careful he doesn’t hurt you, but also sure to give you a spook or two when he needs.
-It’s all so odd.
-It’s not till Leona overblots that both of you get your closure.
-Both you and Ruggie are left alone to recover after your friends leave and Leona’s family drags him away for forced bonding time.
-He can’t help but test the waters.
-“Yer weird y’know.”
“Gee, thanks. That’s how you talk to the guy who saved your life earlier.”
“Hey, that’s how I talk to everyone. Don’t matter if you saved my life or not.”
“Whatever. What's so weird about me then.”
“Why’re ya hidin’ who ya really are.”
“I don’t follow.”
“Yeah, ya do, yer the one who was insistent on that gym shirt that’s clearly three times yer size.”
“…
…..
…Fiiiiine. You got me.”
-He’s smug about it for the longest time too. Constantly cracking jokes and poking fun at you.
-Honestly, it's the start of a really cute friendship!
-You two are far more chill and friendly after Leona’s overblot. So much so that Grim, Ace, and Deuce call it into question, but he won’t tell if you don’t.
-Besides, you need a good friend to hang around where you don’t have to constantly hide who you are all the time.
-He’s the chill presence that you need on campus, and he’ll keep his mouth shut with no problem. (So long as you keep providing him that sweet, free lunch).
Jade
-He doesn’t think you’re too good at keeping secrets.
-Unlike the beast men, he doesn’t have an amazing nose. In fact, Jade would say his smelling ability is rather lackluster compared to Floyd or Azul.
-However, he has a crazy scary intuition.
-He doesn’t know right away, of course. He doesn’t have x-ray vision to see through your baggy uniform.
-What gives it away for Jade is your mannerisms. The way you react to different things your more… masculine peers do or say. The discomfort on your face with the more touchy-feely students on campus.
-To our lovely (bastard) Jade, it's all a dead giveaway. He knows by the start of book three when you first make your deal with Azul.
-It’s like he’s looking through you in that crowded little office. His gaze and placid smile pierced through your skin.
-He won’t say anything to anyone though. What fun would that be?
-To him, it's quite funny seeing how unaware both he and your friends are of the truth.
-He gives you the chills every time he’s around you, but he’s not giving you any reason to believe he knows anything more than what you’ve told him.
-He uses the correct pronouns and treats you as he would anyone else. The only thing is that he’s got this knowing glimmer in his eyes.
-It scares you. Not in the ‘oh god he’s gonna do something to me,’ way, but in the ‘Oh god he’s looking at me again, why is he looking at me again’ kinda way.
-He really does not give you an inkling of an idea that he knows. Just stares at you, smiling like a creepy doll.
-Eventually though, at some point after Azul’s overblot, he corners you (quite literally).
-You honestly think he’s about to kill you, he’s very tall and his face doesn’t change as he leans down to whisper in your ear.
-“Your secret is safe with me.”
-And he walks away.
-What. The. Fuck. Honestly, the scariest thing he could’ve done. Scarier than anything Floyd could ever do honestly.
-To his credit though, your secret is safe with him! Floyd and Azul find out completely on their own, and in fact act surprised when you ask if Jade was the one who told them.
-And honestly, if you can ignore how scary his smile is, he’s always lovely to talk to when you’re in his serving section at the lounge.
-He’s actually the one who convinced Azul to give you a part-time gig when you tell him about your… difficulties affording Sam’s prices.
-Makes sure that your uniform fits the way that makes you most comfortable, and keeps the more rowdy customers AND servers (including Floyd) away from you.
-Very kind! Very weird!
-When you ask him why, he just tells you, “What’s the fun in letting our little secret get out.”
-Creepy! But at least you’re sort of safe around him.
Floyd
-Now, I am aware that Floyd is a very smart person. As smart as both Jade and Azul, in fact.
-However, homie has ADHD like crazy, and if something doesn’t have his attention he is not learning anything about it.
-Therefore, when it comes to you being female, it takes him a little longer than Jade and Azul to figure it out.
-You don’t really pique his interest for a while. Sure, you’re from a different dimension and all, and you’re a magicless student at one of the most prestigious magic schools ever, and you defeated two of the strongest students at NRC’s overblots.
-So what! Who cares! Certainly not Floyd!.
-You don’t interest him, plain and simple. He finds you kinda boring beyond all that “superficial” stuff out of your control.
-That is honestly for the best, you think, You sort of have Jade’s attention already, and that’s scary enough for you.
-You’ve heard the terrifying tales of what Floyd does to Riddle, you’d rather not be an object of his “affections.”
-It’s not until he’s forced to pay attention to you that he gets… interested. (Yayy for you!)
-It’s not immediate, of course.
-He thinks you signing the contract with Azul so confidently is really funny.
-Your determination to pretend you’re not scared of him and Jade is kinda cute, sure.
-When he realizes you’ve caught Jade’s eye he really starts to wonder about you.
-What is so interesting about you that Jade, his brother who only ever really liked peculiar people, has been keeping an eye on you like you’re his prey or something?
It really makes him think, but he doesn’t get it. Seriously. What's so different about you.
-Realizes what’s up when your baggy uniform manages to hug just the right place just long enough that he notices in the heat of battle.
-He gets it now, Jade. How silly you are, little shrimpy, hiding something like that from everyone.
-Suddenly, after Azul recovers from his overblot, Floyd is really friendly with you.
-Not even in the creepy, stalker-ish way that a lot of people like to portray him as. (Though he does, in fact, do a lot of creepy stalker-ish things. It’s in his blood, he’s an underwater predator after all.)
-It’s more like a really, overly excited, not well-trained puppy who just wants attention from its (new) favorite person.
-And, you have to admit, he can be pretty pleasant to be around when he’s in a good mood! He’s funny, easy to talk to, and always has something fun he wants to do.
-It’s annoying to him that everyone gets in the way of him talking to you, though. He’s not gonna hurt you or anything, just wants to give you a squeeze is all.
Jamil
-Jamil has literally no reason to interact with you, ever.
-He, quite honestly, tries to avoid you at all costs.
-Trouble seems to follow you everywhere you go, and with Kalim always trailing him like a puppy, it’s not a mixture he wants to deal with.
-So, Jamil doesn’t know. Nor does he care to know at all. He doesn’t want to know anything about you.
-Alas, you both attend NRC. Nothing goes well at NRC.
-So, you bump into him in the kitchen during winter break.
-If he’s completely honest, you are incredibly nice and easy to be around. Smarter than he’d thought too, seems that your bad luck only comes from your goodness of heart.
-It couldn’t hurt to let you eat with the rest of the dorm just this once… could it.
-It could. It very much could.
-It’s in his nature to be observant. He easily picks up on people's mannerisms and tells them so he can adjust to them as quickly as possible.
-Your mannerisms, however, are particularly different from every other guy on campus.
-You act more like you belong in Pomefiore in a lot of ways, and you tend to flinch at the slightest bit of contact.
-You keep your distance, wear baggy clothes, and your voice sometimes sounds really strained.
-All of these things are odd, but… everyone at NRC is a little weird. He’s a little weird.
-So what. He writes it off and moves on.
-That is until he has to give you the Scarabia uniform after pointedly deciding to kidnap you for a while.
-Your very visible discomfort at the idea of having to wear the new clothes, which he picked specifically to be closer to your actual size, was quite a big giveaway for him.
-He simply smiles and hums and goes to fetch you something a little bigger, for your comfort. He’s not a monster after all! He wouldn’t want a young lady to be uncomfortable around him.
-Keeps it to himself, like a little prize. He was the only one who knew, and he wanted to keep it that way for a while without letting you know.
-It was for no reason other than to fuel that ever-growing ego in his chest.
-However, he gets a little annoyed when Kalim asks him if he thinks you’re a girl or not. He also gets very annoyed when you outwit him and fly to Octanivelle for help.
-Then he finds out that not only did Kalim manage to figure it out on his own, but Jade, Floyd, and Azul have known for ages now.
-It’s just a fun little bonus stressor that adds to his ultimate overblot.
-The overblot in which he exposes your secret to the whole of Scarabia. The overblot where he is just a little too creepy for you to be okay with him for a while.
-Needless to say, you do not have a good relationship with Jamil after all of that.
-He does, however, apologize properly for what he did during his overblot during the music training camp arc.
-You two never really fix things, but you become amicable enough.
Jamil doesn’t really care enough to try and out you to the rest of NRC, but he does owe you a semblance of kindness thanks to what he put you through.
-So he makes sure Scarabia students and Kalim don’t go yapping to everyone after school starts up again.
🍓I have to be fully honest before I write this, I don’t… know how to write silver. I’m not up to date with chapter seven, and he hardly has any in-game content, so I’m sorry if I got him wrong. I’m trying my best to learn the Diasomania characters, but I don’t have the time to sit down and read ALL of chapter seven. (I do, however, have the time to get about 30 hrs a week on Mercy overwatch so maybe I should get my priorities straight…)🍓
Silver
-Silver is one of the last people to find out on campus.
-Not only do you never hang out with the Diasomnia students (other than Malleus), but you and Silver have absolutely nothing to talk about.
-He’s always in a weird sleep-fueled daze, and he’s super quiet and stern. He’s not exactly an easy guy to talk to, but he is nice when you do talk to him.
-The greatest extent to which you’ve interacted with him is through Lilia, and you hardly interact with Lilia outside of Malleus.
-So yeah… Silver doesn’t really have a chance to find out on his own.
-Besides, even if he did suspect something, he’s too upstanding and nice to bother asking you about it.
-Like Jack, he would just assume you were trans, or you’d tell him if you wanted to tell him.
-Besides, gender isn’t all that big of a concern at NRC, let alone for someone who was raised by a pretty open-minded guy like Lilia.
-So, really, Silver has no reason to suspect or ask anything at all.
-However… he does… overhear Lilia talking about something like that with Malleus.
-More specifically, Lilia scolded Malleus and made him promise not to say anything to anyone else. (Silver wonders who he might’ve spilled to…)
-It’s not like it’s his business. You two aren’t super duper close or anything. He’s a royal guard anyway, he can keep his mouth shut. Besides, he could’ve just misheard the conversation.
-.
-..
-…
-….He’s kinda curious though. Damn his human nature, he just wants to know that’s all.
-So, he asks you outright one day.
-“Are you a girl?”
“…No hello?”
-He doesn’t get why you’d hide something like that. Women are strong, what’s the point in hiding that you’re a woman.
-You explain it to him, and suddenly he’s much more sympathetic.
-Offers to protect you if you ever need it out of the goodness of his heart. (What a sweetie)
-Otherwise, he doesn’t change all that much, maybe waves at you in the halls now, but he’s not going out of his way to talk to you unless you want him to.
-He’s another good guy <3

it's ☃️ here again and I have more questions but reverb edition bc I love how 3 dimensional the characters are...
1. Now what is rapper!connie's true IDEALL type (if he actually has one). like he's immediately folding and falling to his knees because she's everything he wants type shit.
2. Do any of the pole assassins ladies swing the other way perchance...? IDK if you mentioned this but i'm getting a vibe...perchance.
3. What are mika and jean's favorite things about one another?
4. How would eren react to being posted on the shaderoom and having them get in his business? I recently saw a video of summer walker flipping the shaderoom off and I screamed 😭😭
5. IDK if you didn't go into detail but is sasha an influencer here as well or an artist?
6. Does eren like any other forms of art besides music/writing in this universe? I don't feel EJ is the type to like go walk a museum (or maybe he is) but I feel he definitely holds some appreciation for like visual arts yk??
7. Is influencer!y/n any good at games? I remember you mentioning him being a gamer and I had the idea of him teaching her to play madden or COD or some shit and her being sooo bad to the point where he gets a little upset bc no way you're this bad at the game.
once again that is all the questions my brain has come up with, until next time *fades off into background*
hello again, snowanon!! 🤍 I swear you always come with the best asks. I’m actually working on reverb right now so thanks for this! (sorry these took so long btw!)
1. now Connie isn’t the type of dude to discriminate when it comes to the ladies. He loves them all but he will undoubtedly fall in love (and maybe propose on the spot) for a tall women or BBW. he loves him a girl who’s taller than him or a plus size lady. I’d say his range is anywhere from Meg to Lizzo. But he really just a loves a woman who can make him laugh. Somebody he can clown with.
2. Yes 3/5 do in fact! 😭 our girl (y/n) is bisexual. Eren is honestly the only man she loves. Niesha is pansexual + Syrai is lesbian. Kelley and Brianne have only ever dated men but they’re not against the idea of being with a woman!
3. omg I literally love these two so much and I hadn’t had a chance to elaborate yet but Jean and Mika are each other’s saving graces, dramatic as it sounds. Jean helped Mika stand up for herself when she felt powerless and she helped him realize his dream and that he was worth more than being on the sidelines. I think Jean’s favorite thing about Mika is her determination and how smart she is. If she wants something done, nothing can stop her. She’s headstrong but she’s soft in the same turn. Not in a weak way or that she wants to be babied but she’s so compassionate and emotional about the things + people she loves. As for Mika, she loves how much of a natural leader Jean is. He’s dominating but in the best way possible. He knows she can handle her own business but she doesn’t have to when he’s around. She can be comfortable in her feminine energy without feeling weak. All in all, they just compliment one another so well!
4. LMAO! the day Eren ever ends up on the ShadeRoom, everybody’s getting their feelings hurt. 😭 what makes it so bad is that it would probably be for some dumb shit, like them trying to messy about he and (y/n)’s relationship and now he gotta cuss everybody and their family dog out :(
5. so the next few chapters are going to feature Sasha heavily but my baby is actually Mikasa’s assistant for the time being. Her ultimate goal is to do music, more so as like a country hip-hop artist. She’s basically mentoring under her and Jean both.
6. Eren does have a great appreciation for other art forms. He has a few unique and expensive paintings in his home and he himself loves to draw. Many of his tattoo pieces are artworks of his. He also enjoys stage plays, shockingly! (he’s really a theater kid cosplaying as a delinquent, don’t let him fool you 😭😭) but he enjoys reading from time to time as well.
7. okay listen! my sis be giving it her all to beat this man LMAO. Eren is so damn competitive that he can’t just play shit for fun, he makes everyone want to fight him. But the one game he does NAWT want to see her in is Tekken. That’s been her favorite series since she was a kid and she gives him the work every single time.

Some random headcanons for the ghosts if they were alive today (part 3)
KITTY
She works at the supermarket with Thomas, and is the most positive and popular employee they have. She always dishes out compliments to every customer, and wishes everyone a good rest of their day. Also she has stickers and badges all over her name tag and lanyard.
Kitty and Mary have an allotment together. They grow their own vegetables and make delicious meals with their produce. Sometimes they make too much, so they give some to their friends to try.
She absolutely loves to do karaoke. Whenever everyone gets together for a night out, they always end up in some karaoke bar because Kitty insists. She gets the Captain to sing 90’s hits with her. She is very good and very loud, and the other half of the duet kind of mumbles his way through the song.
Kitty watches romance movies and reads romantic novels and then posts her reviews on social media. She has separate film reviewing accounts on both Twitter and Instagram, and she also frequently uses Letterboxd (she gives almost everything she watches 5 stars)
HUMPHREY
Humphrey also came into a lot of money through his family, however in contrast to Fanny he doesn’t work. But he is rather good at painting portraits, which he sells online.
He has an on and off relationship with his girlfriend, Sophie. I like to think that although their relationship is tumultuous at times, it’s a lot better than it was in the canon universe. This is mostly due to Robin’s friendship with Sophie, and the fact that he sat Humphrey down and had a long conversation with him, which has resulted in the nice, peaceful time that the couple are experiencing now.
He lives in turtlenecks in the winter. And he wears stylish, expensive sunglasses all year round (mostly to show off)
He likes to have a coffee with the Captain in Annie’s coffee shop. They meet up regularly to have a chat about their love lives, their jobs, and other people’s business.
PAT
Pat still works at the bank, but he’s also a part time delivery driver, as well as a scout leader. Although it’s a lot of work, he loves all of his jobs and never complains (except for scouts. He complains about scouts a bit).
He often gets his friends to help him organise unique activities for his scout group to do. Mary helps with Arts and Crafts, the Captain assists with Remembrance Evening, Robin brings kid-friendly experiments to try on Science Day, and Kitty organises the end of term celebrations. Pat is always grateful for their help.
He used to be married to Carol, but they got a divorce when he discovered that she was cheating on him with his best friend. He gets Daley on the weekends and sometimes over the half term holidays, and he always insists on spoiling his son with outings and gifts.
Pat collects memorabilia from different shows/movie franchises/bands from the 80’s. He has a large collection that’s actually worth quite a lot of money, but he would never sell any of it.

making a personal list of all the warriors fangames i can think of since it would be good to have them all in one place. including (most of) the download links on each game's respective official pages, provided i can actually find them - some of these games are quite old, not documented very well, or have obscured download methods.
not all of these games are complete, many are actively updating, on hiatus, or have been outright cancelled. nevertheless i thought it would be worth listing all of them. descriptions are subject to change as i (re)play each game.
ClanGen - link to web version, downloadable version (itch.io page)
DESCRIPTION: Currently the most well-known fangame that has come out in recent times; you take control of a clan and watch as it grows and changes with time, with cats dying, having kits, changing roles, etc. The player has a good deal of control over what direction their clan goes in, being able to pair together cats, send them on patrols (where they can face big successes or lethal failures), and make other important decisions for their clan’s future. Because of this, it has become a very popular tool for people to tell their own original clan stories. Recent updates (not available on the web version) have added more survival based elements (injuries, and the ability to heal them with herbs), and there is reportedly more to come in the future with the cruel season update. The game is still actively updating as of writing this post. Recommended if you want a clan life simulator that allows for more creative freedom to tell a story.
Warriors: A New Dawn - downloads are no longer available online, you will need to join the discord (and will have to do a bit of digging to find a working link)
DESCRIPTION: A text based game where you take control of a clan of cats and are tasked with guiding them to become a successful, thriving clan. Rather than being an independent overseer, you act as the clan’s own leader, making crucial decisions like sending out various types of patrols, socializing with your clanmates, expanding your territory, and even leading your clan into battle. Battles are turn based, and as you and your clanmates gain experience, you are able to learn a larger variety of stronger and stronger moves. The game seems to be on hiatus, as no new updates have come out in recent months, though the dev sometimes talks about what they have been working on in the discord server. Recommended if you want a clan simulator that has more survival elements and resource-based gameplay. (fun fact… I was one of the first people who got to play this game!) EDIT 07/02/23: The game has been confirmed to be on an indefinite hiatus.
Warrior Cats: The Game series - official website is here, you can download all 3 games following the detailed guide on the site. tip: the activation code is 7991819.
DESCRIPTION: One of, if not THE first Warriors fangames! Each game follows the events of the first three arcs (with the first game being The Prophecies Begin, etc). It offers basically your typical rpg experience, with the battles include both random encounters as well as story-important events (for example, battling against Brokenstar). The games are notoriously difficult in places (you may need a walkthrough to help you along the way, and grinding is kind of a requirement). However, I would say it is a worthwhile experience for any Warriors fan looking for a good fangame. The games are all complete and no longer updating.
Untold Tales - download here (and for good measure, since it's by the same dev and it's basically cattails lite, you can buy cattails on steam, or take a look at its upcoming sequel)
DESCRIPTION: Another classic, wherein you play as a clan cat. Does not have a story: you just live life among your clanmates, hunting, battling, completing quests, and so on. Uniquely, you are not bound to one clan but are given a variety of options to choose from: You can live in any of the 4 main clans, become a kittypet (allowing you to join bloodclan), or live as a rogue and start up your very own clan. This game shares a developer with Cattails, and you can tell as many of the mechanics in Untold Tales are present and more fleshed out in Cattails (hence why I have also linked it in this post). No longer updating as the dev has moved on.
The Road to Immortality - link to act 1 here (also my favorite wc fan game, please please play it)
DESCRIPTION: Possibly my favorite Warriors fangame to date. You play as a kittypet-turned-apprentice of ThunderClan decades after the events of the main series, during a time where tensions among the clans are sky-high, and only seem to be getting worse by the day. The main appeal of this game is that the choices you make throughout the game can have huge and devastating consequences for you and your friends down the line (in other words: multiple endings!). The battles are challenging yet still fun. I won’t spoil too much about the story itself here: all I'll say is that i recommend your first playthrough be blind - save the walkthroughs for your second run! The game so far has only Act 1 out right now. It was supposed to have an Act 2, but that was seemingly cancelled (and then uncancelled? it’s a bit unclear, and I'm not apart of the discord so I can’t really tell). Regardless, Act 1 makes for an excellent standalone experience which - I cannot stress this enough - I highly recommend.
Warrior Cats: The Next Generation - have not had the chance to verify the download myself, but you can find the forums here (and the tvtropes page here, if needed)
DESCRIPTION: TBA, RPGmaker
Dark Forest Apocalypse - i'm not gonna lie i have no idea where to actually download this game. google does return some pages that could lead to reliable downloads, but i haven't had the chance to test them yet and i'd rather not link something that may be a virus or lead to something entirely different. i did find a playthrough of this game (linked here) which includes a download link in the comments, but i have not had the chance to test that one either.
DESCRIPTION: TBA, RPGmaker
Rise of the Clans/Moonlight Dynasty - official download here for multiple versions of the game

Do you still have that ninja ranking post on hand? I'd love to hear more about your opinions on them!
Eh, it was just a plain old list with no further explanations.
But my beloved mutual deserves further explanations and opinions!
1. Nya
Being the only main female character, the writers did the thing male writers often do where they give said female character some crazy good powers and/or abilities to prove they don't hate women.
Nya got herself up to the same level as the other ninja on her own time without a teacher, built pretty much all their vehicles for a while, and could canonically take all of the other ninja at the same time before she even had an elemental power (she literally was a boss for them when she got possessed in season 2).
When Nya has a goal to achieve, she either completely slays (infiltrating Chen's high security island without an invitation? No problem!), or goes completely unhinged (yes summoning The great Devourer would be an effective way to take out Nadakhan Nya, but then you would have other problems), and both options are very entertaining. Love the go big or go home energy.
There are definately problems with that writing approach, but Nya is unironically and canonically the coolest and most powerful ninja.
She also has some really interesting story potential high-achieverness and stubborn sense of pride, even if they are underutilized.
It's a shame she was neglected by the writers so much, they don't know what they missed.
Also, I love Kelly Metzger's vocal performance. Very energetic.
2. Cole
Cole is nice.
No seriously. Sure, he makes a lot of snippy comments at the other ninja (they all do, they really should be less mean to each other), but when interacting with people who aren't ninja, Cole is always super friendly.
This is best showcased in season 4, when he gets locked up in the factory. He brings and keeps up a positive spirit that the others have completely lost. They're pretty dismissive of him at first, but after a while, his attitude actually starts to bring back hope to the others, and it's wonderful. He finds Zane, organizes an escape plan, and gets everyone on board just by being himself.
People who complain Cole didn't get any focus clearly weren't paying attention during season 4. Tournament of Elements was a better season for Cole than either season 10 or Man of the Mountain.
I also love that Cole gets jokes about how much he loves food without depicting that as making him "gross" or "greedy" (Well, up until Hunted, at least. Reason 5026 Oni trilogy sucks). It's so true Cole, there not being cake at a function is extremely disappointing.
Also he got a fang blade way faster than Kai despite having a crippling stomach ache from to much cake. What a flex.
In general he gets so enthusiastic about little things, and it's extremely charming. Like, he genuinly enjoyed the little museum tours they used to go on as teachers. I love that!
And his his core character traits of being "the strong one" is actually showcased in a lot of subtle and unique ways. There's the obvious physical strength, then there's also way he tends to fool the leader role when needed, and the fact that he often has a phobia of the monster of the season but faces it head on and overcomes it everytime.
Kirby Morrow was also an absolutely delightful voice actor (very sad to hear what happened to him).
Also he's so so aromantic coded! I'm telling you it's bonkers, and in this essay, I will-
3. Zane
I think Zane had a very unique energy. He's honest and earnest, and it's very endearing, especially in a show where the main characters tend to be so mean to each other for no reason.
"I was built to protect those who cannot protect themselves" goes sooo hard everytime. Like, damn.
His relationship with Pixal is pretty interesting, although you do have to get past the initial layer of Ninjago romance (so much blank staring and wistful sighing. Like, so much). That being said, his conversation with Pixal in season 8 after they find out she's Samurai X is a rare W for the Oni trilogy.
Outside of that though, I feel like Zane didn't get a whole lot of big moments or storylines in later season, and the writers kind of forget about the whole "protect those who can't protect themselves" thing, which was a really big draw for me.
I like his little robot powers and gags. They're pretty fun. Gives his humorous moments a very unique feel, too.
His little falcon friend is also great. Watching that bird fly to close to the dark island and Nadakhan's ship was probably the only time genuinly stressed me out. (Reason 5027 Oni trilogy sucks, they got rid of the falcon).
4. Kai
He's got a fair bit of "bland main character syndrome" going on, and then after he passes that to Lloyd, the writers just...aren't really sure what to do with him.
He gets angry sometimes cuz fire and he...flirts badly a lot and thinks he's cool.
Eh.
He does have that thing where he laser-focuses when he gets a goal in mind, but the amount I get out of Kai for the amount of focus he gets is still not a lot.
There's a reason he got taken first in Skybound.
5. Lloyd
I actually found Lloyd fairly charming as a child. He's got a good heart, but also a mischievous streak and a fair bit of juvenile passion.
But then he aged up and lost all those things, leaving him with no personality.
He's the chosen one. He keeps getting power-ups.
Wish he'd get some characterization.
Lloyd seems to be a pretty popular character in the fandom, but everything people say they like about Lloyd could've easily happened to any other character. People always talk about stuff that happened to him, and never anything he does or wants, and I couldn't tell you anything Lloyd personally wants anyway.
6. Jay
Jay definately has the most distinct personality of the group as the jokey comedy guy.
I like that he kind of breaks down when the situation gets too stressful. That, and his relationship with Nya could make for some very interesting story potential.
But then Skybound happened and turned Jay from silly and maybe a bit insecure into disgustingly selfish with no redeeming qualities.
Even outside of Skybound, Jay big plot points are fighting Cole for Nya's affection (without consulting Nya herself. A terrible side plot that Cole ultimately resolves anyway), learning to appreciate his parents more (it's not the worst, but Ed and Edna don't get a whole lot of screen time to showcase the change in their relationship, and it doesn't help that the next time we see them in season 1, Jay is acting the same way about then that he did when they first appeared), and his true potential episode, where Nya's really the one doing all the legwork.
I don't think Jay's a bad character, but every time the writers give him the spotlight, it goes terribly. Jay's never the one to facilitate his own growth, and that makes him pretty much impossible to root for.

Morally grey characters aren't very uncommon--although they certainly are in the Pokemon anime! I can basically think of the Team Rocket trio (many examples, but their loyalty to their own Pokemon, while stealing Pokemon from their loving trainers, and how they stood up against Faba when he wanted to erase Lillie's memories), Colress (Colress is the only real example I can think of one completely following his own moral code, except he doesn't appear to have any morals at all! He just does whatever serves his curiosity and love of scientific discovery, whether others see it as good or bad, and he doesn't mind manipulating others), and maybe Alain (although Alain was definitely unwitting and manipulated for most of it, so more of an antihero trying to protect his loved ones and unknowingly getting tangled up in something much darker than he imagined--in terms of his intentions and knowledge, he wasn't one starting out, he just thought he'd shield Professor Sycamore from being tainted with any unsavoury associations with Mega Evolution...)
Trip's very unique to me because you don't often see a morally grey child character and he isn't even framed as an antagonist, exactly, but a rival. He and Ash have moral clashes over how to handle the Venipede, but both have the inherently noble/good goal of saving Castelia city. Trip has no other reason to linger there, he hates delaying and is usually constantly travelling to the next objective, he didn't even usually watch tournaments to their completion...
Idealistic Ash believes they can reason with the Venipede or at least safely corral them into the park and then figure out why they rampaged, but Trip calls Ash naive and assumes it's due to his rural background and things just don't work out that way in Unova. ^^;;; He's much more cynical... and he listens in on their plan, follows Ash and company, only to rather treacherously interrupt what they were doing by attacking the Pokemon, to deal with them by force (which is the only way he believed things could be accomplished at that point), but ALSO for the challenge.
A little selfishness seeping in there, too, because he wanted to attack the leader of the Venipede for the challenge, because it must be strong. ^^;;;; Well, he is very ambitious...
But when he sees Ash's gentler means can accomplish things, he assists him, saves his Pokemon from an attack, and gently guides the Venipede along with Ash.
It's likely this incident that makes him question what his memory of meeting Alder led him to believe makes someone strong.
He asks Adler the questions he doesn't receive a real answer to until the Junior Cup (namely because these are questions Trip and his Pokemon will have to find the answers to themselves...), and unfortunately, we saw how his disappointment in the gentler/more laidback Alder of the present made him double back on his old ways, but the important thing was that he began to question if brute force and winning battles was all that made someone strong.
I think he's especially fascinating because he is young and a rookie trainer and still trying to figure things out, he could easily go either way, depending on the influences, into a more heroic or more villainous character. I just find that infinitely more fun to write.
Also, how often do you have a child character with an ends justifies the means approach to things, who doesn't flinch or even protest being called unjust, or even when told the violent path they're going down will lead to great losses on both sides?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
... also, his still being a child character also makes for more interesting relationship dynamics you wouldn't easily get with older characters, since folks will tend to be a bit more patient (or at least have take pity on him), I actually really love writing with characters that effectively adopt him in games. ;3; The fact that he's still learning and trying to figure out what it truly means to be strong and has to challenge his own (very cynical but alas, unexplained...) notions about the world...
Also the fact that he is so uncertain about his path--the arrogance is a cover, he's actually a very insecure character underneath and that's why he needs answers from Alder so badly, even while he was mad at him for falling short of his idealized memory of him. ^^;;; He immediately blames his loss on him doing something "wrong" or his lacking something rather than simply a difference in experience. Alder could tell Trip loved him, that's why he wanted answers from him specifically, even if he was mad at him, because even during their battle, when he asked him about his motivations, why he battled, he said it was to prove his strength to Alder... that's all this was about. Trip just wants to prove himself to his idol, his hero.
Tumblr media
That's the sweetest, saddest motivations I can think of for a character like that.

Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Review - Part Two
Hello Elder Dragons, let's end this set review with the rest of our legendary creatures for Lost Caverns of Ixalan + Jurassic Park!
Tumblr media
Ian Malcolm, Chaotician is our first Jurassic Park legendary creature, and not the one I'm most excited for. Adding the unique restriction that players cannot cast their own exiled cards does open a lot of interesting space for a group slug/Chaos deck, where any spell you would exile would be detrimental to the whole table, but being punished for drawing cards in Izzet of all colors feels very bad. Playing with cards like Nalfeshnee to get the most value out of spells out of exile is a good place to start!
Tumblr media
Saheeli, The Sun's Brilliance is a tried-and-true design, and a very exciting option both in the 99 of decks like Brudiclad and as the leader of a deck. Adding a second color to Feldon of the Third Path is absolutely huge, but the permanents you want to copy must be on the battlefield instead of in the graveyard, which make cheating mana a lot harder. At a very cheap 2 mana to cast and 2 to activate, you will be able to start getting value very early, both from workhorse cards like Solemn Simulacrum and Mulldrifter, or from powerful haymakers like Myr Battlesphere. The fact that the token is sacrificed and not exiled is also a huge upside to get double value from small artifacts like Mycosinth Wellspring or Junk Diver. Fantastic commander, and one I would build if I did not already have multiple artifact decks.
Tumblr media
Akawalli, the Seething Tower is the Golgari signpost uncommon of the set, and while it's a straightforward, voltron-focused commander, it's also, for a pretty small investement in self-mill, a 3-mana 7/7 with trample that can't be multi-blocked. There's plenty of ways to grant menace in black, turning it into a straight unblockable creature that will kill your opponents in 3 attacks without any additional pieces of equipment. Akawalli is sneakily very dangerous, and if you play in a low-interaction pod, your opponents will learn pretty fast to pack up a bit more removal.
Tumblr media
The Mycotyrant, beside having a truly metal name, also somewhat undermines my previous comments on Akawalli. For 3 mana and self-mill, you get a REAL threat. It requires a bit more set up, but it is undeniably more powerful, allowing you to both go tall with the Mycotyrant, Deep by milling a lot of cards through Dredge and Mulch effects, Wide by creating a very large number of tokens very quickly, which can both be sent into the red zone, or sacrificed for fun and profits. You can also go in a different direction and build a Fungus Typal supported by the likes of Sporecrown Thallid and Slimefoot, the Stowaway. Overall, an exciting, powerful, and versatile option for Golgari. Also, as a clarification, Tokens do not fuel The Mycotyrant's triggered ability, as tokens aren't cards as per the rules.
Tumblr media
Caparocti Sunborn is pretty powerful for an uncommon legendary creature. An generically-aggressive Boros commander that provide card and mana advantage with a little setup is nothing to scoff at, as discover is a very powerful mechanic. All that on a 4-mana 4/4 that only requires you to have a few tokens or value creatures laying around. Having to wait a whole turn is not great if your playgroup plays a bit more interaction, but if you have a boros Midrange deck, Caparocti is certainly worth the try in the command zone.
Tumblr media
Anim Pakal, Thousandt Moon is a very good aggressive commander, in many ways similar to Krenko, Tin Street Kingping, but different in small, important ways. Gaining a color and generating creatures that are also artifacts, on top of having them enter the battlefield tapped and attacking, are all significant upgrades. However, Krenko only cared about having his power increased, whereas Anim needs +1/+1 counters, making the classic voltron route a lot less appealing. Boros +1/+1 counters in a pretty untapped archetype, but it also doesn't have a lot of support. Obviously, Cathars' Crusade is a must-have, but I wouldn't spit on one-shot effects like Angelfire Ignition either.
Tumblr media
Nicanzil, Current Conductor is, unironcally, my favorite commander of the set. I LOVE explore as a mechanic, and a cheap legendary creature that turbocharge the mechanic is awesome. My only complain is that it's Simic and not Sultai, preventing me from running Lurking Chupacabra. Otherwise, load as much Explore as you can, grab some cards that provide evasion, such as Whispersilk Cloak or Herald of the Streams, add a bunch of landfall cards like Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Rampagning Baloth (With Path of Discovery for maximum value) and you got yourself a sweet explore deck.
Tumblr media
Hakbal of the Surging Soul is also an explore commander, but this one cares about being Merkfolk typal first and foremost. Hakbal is very, very powerful, rapidly snowballing your merfolks into lethal threats with effects like Hardned Scales. The fact that it has an attack trigger on top of that really is the cherry on top, providing the classic combo of Ramp or card draw. Any number of merfolk token generation, such as Deeproot Waters, will make put Hakbal into overdrive, and make you the threat very quickly, so be ready to be a bit of an archenemy with this commander.
Tumblr media
Xolatoyac, the Smiling Flood is first and foremost an adorable axolotl, and secondly, a powerful Simic Flash commander. A sort of DIY Wilderness Reclamation for any permanents, Xolatoyac allows you to spend your turn spending your mana to advance your board while still keeping mana up for responsiveness. Because it works with any counters, you can have fun rmping with Storage lands like Saprazzan Cove, or artifacts like Component Pouch, Coalition Relic, or Empowered Autogenerator. You can also add the Thirteenth Doctor to double up on untapping your creatures with counters.
Tumblr media
Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists is a very cool and unique Bant commander, asking that you put creatures in your graveyard to get free value! This works with self-mill like Satyr Wayfinder or Mulch, with creatures with Cycling abilities to fill your graveyard at low rate, and exile those creatures to get free spells on top of the card advantage! I'd also recommend taking a look at Chakram Retriever, Which would allow you to have explosive discovery turns, and Misthollow Gryffin + Eternal Scourge, for cards you can exile multiple times.
Tumblr media
Admiral Brass, Unsinkable is a new take on Pirate typal, throwing graveyard synergy in the mix with your evasive and disruptive threats. A free hasty 4/4 every turn, as long as you have a full bin, is no joke, and modt pirates tend to have disruptives ability attached to them, like Warkite Marauder or Hostage Taker, providing even more value. Grixis is probably the best color combo to fill your graveyard, between mill and looting effects such as Faithless Looting and Frantic Search. It's a more explosive pirate deck, compared to her previous incarnation, which wanted to play a more tempo-oriented deck.
Tumblr media
Don Andres, the Renegade, is a new grixis Theft commander, in the line of Evelyn, the Covetous. Don Andres, however, is a lot more interested in smashing face with what you stole. +2/+2, Menace and Deathtouch is a serious buff, turning mostly inconsequential creatures into beatsticks. Getting free treasured of your Mind Siphon and Praetor's Grasp is also pretty good deal. Personally, I'd throw the Theft stapled such as Hostage Taker and Control Magic in with a few Threaten effects like Kari Zev's Expertise, and mass threathen like Mob Rule.
Tumblr media
Indoraptor, the Perfect Hybrid is a sweet Jund Enrage/Combo commander that takes enough work to setup to avoid feeling oppressive. Starting at 1 toughness forces you to find a way to grant it Indestructible if you want to combo with Pestilence-like effects, but having Bloodthirst also allows you to play in a more fair, combat-oriented deck where the goal is to get a massive Indoraptor and simply trigger your enrage naturally through combat. I suspect Indestructible + Pestilence will be more popular, but a cheap aggressive Bloodthirst commander is also nice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Huatli, Poet of Unity is a new Dinosaur commander for the set, but not the most exciting one. The front face is fairly lackluster, being simply a buffier Sylvan Ranger, but the Saga backside packs some real punch, with the disadvantage of being telegraphed miles in advance and being open to getting blown out by spot removal upon activation. What you get, however, is Ramp, the best dinosaur out of your deck, and a massive combat buff that should kill at least one player. The upside of being telegraphed is that, if you disrupt the natural progress through proliferate, or protect from mass removal with Teferi's Protection-like effects, you can really take the table by surprise and end the game.
Tumblr media
Pantlaza, Sun-Favored is the second Dinosaur commander of the set, and frankly, he is frightening. I have a dislike for commanders that are just a massive pile of value with barely additional input, and slapping "Dinosaur" over it doesn't make it more palatable, but Pantlaza is the most powerful option for Naya Dinosaurs. Discover is an incredibly powerful mechanic, especially in a deck filled with threats and few reactive spells, Pantlaza also is incredibly resilient, as simply casting your commander after a board wipe will probably be enough rebuild thanks to the mana and card advantage of discover. I'm already tired of seeing it in Brawl on MTG Arena, and I don't expect to stop matching against it soon.
Tumblr media
Wayta, Trainer Prodigy is a lot more in my wheelhouse. Synergizing with Enrage dinosaurs from original Ixalan like Trapjaw Tyrant and Needletooth Raptor, Wayta also diversify he menagerie by training Brash Taunters and Boros Reckoners. There's a lot of Non-Dinosaur creatures that have enrage-like abilities, and Wayta's 1 lone point of Power if perfect to trigger those without putting your creatures in harm's way. Acting as a repeatable removal spell on a stick, on top of doubling your triggers, is fantastic, and I 100% see myself building this deck.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer and Blue, Loyal Raptor are our first Temur Dinosaur commanders, replacing the most expandable color of Dinosaur (White) for blue (The color, not the raptor). There's not a lot of good blue Dinosaurs beside Nezahal, but Owen and Blue don't just want dinos, they want counters, and Simic is more than happy to oblige. Blue has a sizeable body, with a toolbox of abilities granted by Owen Grady that will be transfered to every subsequent dinos. It's not the best Dino commander, but it is on a unique color combination that leverages the additional strengths that Simic provides.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tetzin, Gnome Champion is such an amazingly cool, but extremely narrow commander. Clearly designed for the Crafting mechanic, l also synergizes with the Transformers cards from Brother's War. The backside is very powerful, going wide with tokens while transforming artifacts like Azor's Gateway or Brass' Tunnel Grinder for a massive power boost, while backing your army of tokens with Intangible Virtue and Tempered Steel. There is a suprisingly high quantity of playable two-sided artifacts to go in that deck, though crafting with 6 artifacts is an hefty challenge of you don't build with tokens and self-mill in mind.
Tumblr media
Xavier Sal, Infested Captain is a very exciting design, but suffers from the "Combo-By-Accident" problem, which will push the rest of the table to mercilessly destroy him and you in the process. While that happens, however, be sure to grab an Intruder Alarm and a Scurry Oak . There's some really cute cards like Chronozoa Watcher in the Water and Chitterspitter that work well with both sides, as well as basically any planeswalker that creates tokens like Tezzeret, Master Artificer, Ashiok, Nightmare Muse or Garruk, Cursed Huntsman. There's a lot of ways to build Sal, but be prepared to be seen as the obvious threat.
Tumblr media
Henry Wu, InGen Geneticist is such an incredible flavor win that I'd want to build it for that reason alone. Mechanically, there's a lot of very interesting way to go. Human creatures that enter with non-human creatures (Such as Alirios, Enraptured), repeatable nonhuman token generators and Blink effects is an option. Building a fully nonhuman deck and loading up with existing Exploit cards to get double triggers off of your sacrifice is also very good. cards and mana are the most important ressources, and this provides you both on top of benefitting from sacrifice synergies. Very solid commander.
Tumblr media
Indominus Rex, Alpha is a voltron commander in the vein of Rayami, First of the Fallen, except it requires only having creatures in hand except of killing creatures already in play, having synergy with Counter mechanics, and potentially refilling your hand instantly when it enters the battlefield as an untargeatable death machine. There's a lot of very powerful keywords that are easy to get in these colors, such as hexproof, flying or trample/deathtouch, as well as non-zero ways of getting Haste through cards like Akuta, Born of Ash of Clackbridge Troll. There is currently no creature in this color combination with Double Strike, but that may change in the future! Cards that make the Indominus Rex enter the battlefield with counters like Master Biomancer are also excellent synergy with the commander, getting a larger body and drawing more cards on ETB. And I have not mentionned how absurd Indominus is as a Dredge commander, both pitching your cards and drawing cards for dredging on a single body. Very versatile commander.

What makes Christianity different or true? Part 3
Christianity vs other major religions
We now consider the major differences between Christianity and other religions.
1. The Trinity
The very nature of God in Christianity is different from all the other religions.
The other major religions have various approaches to the nature of God and can be either polytheistic with several gods or monotheistic having one God. Others are non-theistic and have no significant god outside of themselves. Christianity is monotheistic but with a key difference: Christians believe in God who is One in essence but with three distinct personalities [1] namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This means that God has always existed in community shared by His three personalities. The Christian God has always been about relationship and has extended this to humankind though Jesus Christ.
2. The Gospel
The Gospel is the good news that Father God has provided a way for sinful people to be able to come to Him via the cross of Jesus Christ. This salvation is a free gift from God[2]. No law keeping, achievement, moral living, or performing religious rituals can save your soul. Jesus Christ, God the Son, became a man and died in the place of fallen humankind, but rose again from the dead to conquer sin and death.
Certain religions whilst agreeing that a person cannot provide their own salvation, but instead by trusting a human leader, they may be able to achieve some form of rebirth. Christianity is not a religion, but through faith in Jesus Christ, it is a relationship with God.
John 17:3 “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
We also note that no other faith except Christianity follows a leader who claimed to be God and who also rose from the dead.
3. The Bible is authoritative and has repeatedly been proven to be true.
Historians and archaeologists have repeatedly confirmed the authenticity of the Bible. Ancient historians confirm both the person of Jesus as described in the Bible and the major events presented in the New Testament.
The Bible today is the same as what was originally written. The Dead Sea Scrolls confirmed the accuracy of the Old Testament, and original writings of the New Testament authors are preserved better than any other ancient manuscript. The early church accepted the New Testament books almost immediately, and that the writers were either associates of Jesus or His original followers.
The Bible claims that it is God’s Word (see 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:21). Jesus also viewed Scripture as authoritative (see John 10:35 and Matthew 22:29). The New Testament authors believed what they were writing was in fact God’s Word (see 1 Corinthians 14:37, 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
Insights into the differences between Christianity and other Religions [3].
Narnia author and Christian apologist C.S. Lewis comments that all religions do have some truth in them, and Lewis thinks that is what you would expect. Lewis thought that If you are a Christian, you do not have to believe that all the other religions are simply wrong all through.
However, if you are an atheist you do have to believe that the main point in all the religions of the entire world is simply one huge mistake.
Lewis felt it was atheism that wrote off all religious claims as false, while he was free to affirm truth wherever it was found. He accepted truths in other religions. He recognised the similarities – as well as the significant differences between religions. For Lewis, a commitment to Christ does not necessitate the denial of truth in other religions.
However, what makes Christianity unique is the incarnation, when God entered a specific historical place and time in the person of Jesus Christ.
This is utterly unique and is either true or false.
Lewis is quoted as saying [4], "If you had gone to Buddha and asked him 'Are you the son of Brahma?' he would have said, 'My son, you are still in the vale of illusion.' If you had gone to Socrates and asked, 'Are you Zeus?' he would have laughed at you. If you had gone to Mohammad and asked, 'Are you Allah?' he would first have rent his clothes then cut your head off. If you had asked Confucius, 'Are you Heaven?' I think he would have probably replied, 'Remarks which are not in accordance with nature are in bad taste.' The idea of a great moral teacher saying what Christ said is out of the question. In my opinion, the only person who can say that sort of thing is either God or a complete lunatic suffering from that form of delusion which undermines the whole mind of man."
[1] Athanasian creed.
[2] See Ephesians 2:8.
[3] See C.S. Lewis - Objection #10: Other Religions - Mark Conner
[4] God in the dock C.S. Lewis
In Part 4 we consider the significant changes that belief in Christianity brings to a believer's life.

Are Splatfests rigged?
Last week another Splatfest reached its conclusion. However, instead of celebrating the winner, Shiver, many voiced their disappointment and began doubting the validity of Splatfests.
A big surprise for all players was that Shiver had over 50% of the votes despite many people facing Frye’s and Big Man’s teams an equal amount. Her popularity and recent win streak, named Shiversweep, made many people start questioning whether or not the results are rigged.
To put things into perspective, Splatoon 2 had 31 overall Splatfests with Pearl winning 16 in the USA and Europe (15 in Japan) and Marina winning 15 (16 in Japan). Something important to note here is that Pearl won 5 earlier Splatfests and Marina won 7 later ones in a row in Europe. So win streaks are nothing unusual for Splatoon. During Splatoon 2’s first year (2017-07-15 to 2018-07-21) Pearl won 9 Splatfests in the USA (11 in Europe, 6 in Japan) and Marina won 6 (4 in Europe, 9 in Japan). Both of them had a won multiple Fests in succession: Pearl won 5 in Europe and Marina won 6 in Japan. Now compare this to Splatoon 3’s 9 Splatfests (excluding the world premiere), Shiver has won 6 (5 in a row), Frye won 1 and Big Man 2.
Splatoon 2’s Splatfest runtime went from 2017 to 2019 (excluding the 4 Fests from 2020-2021). If Splatoon 3 will have a similar runtime of around 2 years, it means that Shiver has won the majority of Splatfests already. It is also important so mention that Splatoon 3 could possibly have less Splatfests than its predecessor due to Big Run taking up 3 to 4 months of the year.
I believe the cause for outrage in Splatoon 3 is the fact that Shiver has won the majority of Fests despite there being 2 other options to choose from. Most times Shiver seems to have the most normal and logical answers in comparison to Big Man and especially Frye. A good example of this would be the ice cream Fest. Whereas Big Man and Frye had more unique and less popular flavors, Shiver’s team was vanilla, a very basic and common ice cream flavor. Something similar was the case during the latest Splatfest. For a majority of players Shiver takes on the role of the leader, as she is in charge of beginning and ending the Anarchy Splatcast and she announces each Splatfest. However, Frye and Big Man are leaders in their own way, as Frye takes on the role of the leader during the story mode and Big Man is Deep Cut’s lyricist and producer. These things are not as prominent as the Splatcast announcements every two hours though and thus make her a more obvious leader.
On top of this, many consider the asked questions faulty or unclear. Instead of asking a subjective question the dialogue implies that the player should choose more objectively. An example would be the Money vs. Fame vs. Love Splatfest, where instead of questioning “What’s more important to you?” the game simply asked “What's most important in life?”, which, for most, is money. Other times players picked their team because of the ink color or other factors, like a higher chance of winning and because they prefer one idol over the other, which, in most cases, is Shiver. The Nessie vs. Aliens vs. Bigfoot and the Power vs. Wisdom vs. Courage Splatfests come to mind. In relation to the latest fest, a lot of people interpreted the question based on the anarchy poisons and voted with this information in mind whereas others simply voted for their favorite idol.
The most important reason for Shiver’s latest win streak is due to Splatfests not being regional anymore. Instead of Japan, Europe and the USA voting for their favorite option separately, all player votes and battle results are combined, which means that some regions have an advantage. It comes to no surprise that most players are Japanese, as the game sold 3.45 million units* in the first three days of release in Japan, which makes it the fastest-selling Switch game in Japan. Keep in mind that Splatoon 3 sold 10.67 million units* worldwide as of March 31, 2023, making the Japanese player base at least one third of all players. As a majority of the player base is Japanese, it means that their choices make up a big part of the overall votes. This is reflected in the chocolate Splatfest results, as the Japanese holiday, White Day, usually involves giving gifts like white chocolate to women and thus a big part of the community voted for white chocolate. This also explains Shivers winning streak, as she is very popular in Japan due to her representing Japanese culture and as previously established, many just vote based on their favorite idol.
Though, Shiver’s popularity explains why she won by a landslide in the popularity voting, she also received a lot of clout, due to skilled players being on her team. So, Shiver didn’t just win by sheer numbers, as team Big Man won in the pro matches category, which requires some good players.
An easy way to fix the voting issue in the latest Splatfest would have been to have the idols vote for each other (Shiver votes for Frye, Frye for Big Man and Big Man for Shiver for example), which would not only have made the Fest a lot fairer, but it would have also shown the bond between the members of Deep Cut. I have also seen someone propose the idea that instead of making Splatfests regional again, the game could conceal which idol picked which team until halftime so that players pick their team based on their own beliefs instead of the idols.
Regardless of whether or not the results have are rigged, I had a lot of fun playing this Splatfest. The number of mirror matches has decreased significantly and Tricolor matches were really enjoyable. I even got into and won my first 100x match. Each team did their best and I can understand why this is upsetting to so many players, but this last year with Splatoon 3 has been wonderful and I hope it will only improve over the next few years. Happy one year anniversary to Splatoon 3 and Deep Cut! I can’t wait to see what Splatfests will await us in the next year of this game.
Stay fresh and thank you for reading!
Also a quick side note: It seems spawn camping was particularly bad this months Splatfest. I know everyone wants their team to win, but please don’t ruin other people’s fun.

FEW3H NPC Analysis Pt. 2 - Churches of Fodlan
With the churches of Fodlan playing a pivotal role during the war in 3 Hopes, it begs the question: what do 'the people' actually think about it? Are some churches viewed as more oppressive, corrupt, kind, or helpful than others by your average citizen? Do they support their local church, the Central Church, or something else altogether?
In this analysis, I take a look at clergy and non-clergy NPCs in each region to see how they feel about the way religion shapes their lives in Fodlan.
Disclaimer: This is just for fun. The data was manually tagged & compiled, so may have errors. Dataset used
Analysis Background
I've combined "Support" and "Neutral" sentiments to keep the numbers easier to understand. Neutral in this context means "I don't mind if this thing exists" or "I have no drive to destroy or reform this institution." I also combine sentiments about the leader of the organization (e.g. Rhea, Count Varley) and the organization itself for both analytical usefulness and to reflect the game's framing. The "Artifacts/Secrets/Symbols" row refers to any lines wanting to pursue 'mysteries' of the church.
Line counts are split by whether it's the clergy or non-clergy from that region who have that sentiment. Azure Gleam is special, using "Fodlan" instead of "Kingdom" to denote their non-clergy because there's an Alliance line included about the church. They also have Duscur as a separate category because there are Duscur soldiers that have their own, unique religion from the rest of Fodlan.
Summary
Everyone hates the Western Church. There is not a single supporter within the army's NPCs in any path.
There is some Central Church support in all paths, though very minor in Scarlet Blaze. The Southern Church that was recreated by the Empire is generally disliked by everyone, however it sees some mild support alongside its criticism in Scarlet Blaze. On the other hand, the Eastern Church seems to be considered toothless and pretty good where it's mentioned.
Scarlet Blaze
Scarlet Blaze has the most negative opinions of the Central Church from all paths and the most distrust of churches in general, including their own Southern Church. There is also more mention of the Central Church having mysteries or secrets than the other paths. However, it talks about the churches the least despite their oppression being the official reason for the Empire's war.
Interestingly, there is some dislike of attacking the Central Church from the people, although sentiment about the Central Church is still mostly negative. The small Southern and Eastern Church support comes from the clergy. In fact, it's only the clergy that talks about the other churches at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Golden Wildfire
Ironically, Golden Wildfire has the most neutral/supportive sentiment about the Central Church in non-clergy members out of all paths, including Azure Gleam, who are actual allies with them. It is also the most opposed to the Southern Church despite their arrangement with the Empire. The Eastern Church is generally well-liked and seems to provide mostly emotional support as it has no military.
This is the only path which doesn't mention anything about the secrets of the church, in stark contrast to Verdant Wind. There seems to be more focus on the politics and bloodshed involved with the believers being displaced or killed. Wiping out Rhea and possibly the Central Church in chapter 16 is viewed with concern, in contrast to the lack of unrest that's touted by the main storyline.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Azure Gleam
Azure Gleam is odd because it does have strong positive Central Church sentiment, but that is mostly from the Central Church itself. The rest of the Kingdom army are fairly neutral about Churches across the board, with some positivity about the Central Church and mild negativity about the Western Church.
This is the only path where NPCs talk about specific actions the Church has taken, both violent (punishing anyone who takes a bribe or commits crimes) and benevolent (giving shelter to the homeless). The one "distrust" of the Central Church I've noted is because an NPC didn't want to take in the Church and start a war very early on (Chapter 4) rather than any particular issue with the Church itself.

What would have happened in your ideal Cap3 movie, Serpent Society or otherwise?
This is an amazing question! On the one hand I would LOVE 90 minutes of Steve and Bucky just chillin', but on the other hand I am a sucker for the action thriller genre and I also understand its conceits. I would have been quite happy with a plotty Cap 3 that is of similar to quality to CATWS, and leave the emotional recovery to fanworks.
First of all the focus of this movie needs to be on Steve, Bucky and Sam, and to a lesser extent Nat. I think one of the most important roles of this story is to set up why Sam would be the ideal candidate to take on the mantle should he choose to. I think Isaiah’s existence should be introduced as a discussion of just how much the SHIELD and CIA “compromised”, although I would prefer if that story is explored in more depth in a Sam-centric movie.
The arc I really want to see for Bucky is him gaining agency over his own missions. He’s bright and analytical, he’s been a sergeant, he’s the oldest of 4 kids — sure, during the war he was happy to step back into a supportive role for Steve but he’s also been a leader himself. I feel like canon Bucky often gets relegated to the follower role but he’s probably someone far more opinionated and strong-minded then he’s given credit for. I know a lot of people liked the fact that Bucky had holed himself up after CATWS, but I kinda want to see him be proactive, ya know, and not just be the NPC waiting for the main character to kickstart the plot. I also feel like it would be in his nature to be proactive rather than passive. Certainly, his CATFA story suggest he is assertive and independent-minded, and taking down Hydra is as much his goal as it is Steve's.
For Steve, though, I would like to see him either own the Captain America title or transition to Nomad. Either way, I want Steve to separate from the propaganda aspect of Captain America and take control of his own narrative. This is a theme that is unique to Steve amongst the Avengers. He was created to be the face of an entity; he had no knowledge or control over how that narrative was curated for 70 years, and then he was pressured into presenting himself to suit that narrative.
Ideally, the big bad should still be Hydra, because both Steve and Bucky deserved closure for everything that had happened in the last 70 years.
I feel like the natural flow of events from CATWS is that Zola has uploaded himself into the internet prior to his "brain" getting bombed - and maybe it would be a good tie-in to AoU to say that Zola's presence in the internet corrupted Ultron and drove him down the genocidal path. Fury and Hill head to Europe, where they run into Bucky as he tries to solo his own way through the bits of Hydra he could remember. I don't know if it would overload the story by introducing Wakanda here - but perhaps instead of T'Challa, the character introduced is Nakia, who is investigating a human trafficking route which eventually leads her to Hydra +/- the Red Room. I feel like this would give a lead-in to another movie introducing T'Challa, as well as tie in nicely with Nat's movie. Alternatively, the original T'Challa story could still be used here but with Zola pulling the strings instead of Zemo.
Ideally the movie should address all the experiments that has now been established in canon - Steve's Project Rebirth, Bucky (and the other PoWs), Isaiah and his squad, the source of Howard's serum, and Bruce, and discuss the eugenics beliefs driving them, and the fact that this belief still thrives in a lot of American institutions. I'd like to see Steve and Sam each confront this and come to terms with what it means for them personally. I want Steve, Sam and Bucky to each then choose to denounce the powers that had caused or perpetuated their traumas, including those they thought were their allies.
But I think ultimately, the message has to be one of hope and optimism. There is a possibility of rebuild and renewal and change. It's Steve saying "My faith is in people, and for the most part they haven't let me down"; it's Sam saying "What would be the point of all the pain and sacrifice if I wasn't willing to stand up and keep fighting?"; it's Bucky saying...well canon him hasn't really been given the chance to say much, but what about letting Bucky show that he - very much like Steve and Sam beside him - believes in hope and goodness and that was why he could survive all that time and still come out the other end a good person? And this would also be why Sam does pick up the shield later, because despite all he has seen he still believes a better tomorrow is possible.

hiiiii i wanna hear about your little guys mithos and genis i miss them
HECK YES i miss them too so bad
describe their canon relationship/dynamic
they're sort of like each other's manic pixie dream girl which i think is a really funny thing to have done with a pair of middle school aged kids in a jrpg from the early 2000s. genis has always felt constrained and restricted by the fact that he has to lie about his half-elven heritage, even to the people he loves very dearly, because if he doesn't then he will basically without exception be put in Extreme Danger. he bottles up everything inside himself to support others, tries not to complain, tries to play everything off as a-okay even when it's not. so naturally, when he meets mithos, someone who is Just Like Him, he finally has someone he can express himself genuinely to!
mithos, of course, has lived through...some of the most traumatic stuff a kid can live through. he knows he's hated, he knows the world is against him, and when he decided to try infiltrating lloyd's group, he'd also weathered about 4000 years of immortality spent pretending to be someone he's not. so when he meets genis, someone who is Just Like Him, he finally has someone he can express himself sincerely to.
all it took, for both of them, was a single act of kindness, a person who they both felt could understand them without having to do all that icky explaining stuff. and...considering that, all the way to the end, no matter what mithos did, genis still wanted to believe in him and have faith in him and not hurt him no matter what, genis did understand, even as mithos lied and lied about how he'd hated all of them the whole time
it's a tragedy born of love and understanding and one of them deciding that a villain like them shouldn't get to be happy and the other vehemently disagreeing. i am owned every single day
your ideal/headcanon version of it? how does it differ from how it is in canon & why is this your favorite version? any other alternate versions of it you enjoy?
well i LOVE a good tragedy (as you all know...) but god i want them to both live and get to be together so bad . shoutout to the like 30k words i wrote of them set in the phantasia timeline that was still unfortunately a tragedy because mithos is STILL a villain who did very bad things and genis is still stubbornly always wanting to be with him against the wishes of others
...but i'm also a huge fan of genis trying to bring mithos back from the dead. ahaha <3
what do you like about their relationship, why is it interesting or enjoyable to you?
i like... relationships that are tragedies. for some god dang unknown reason. the fact that it's doomed from the start is appealing to me. the fact that it's pure and sincere on both sides? also appealing. the fact that genis's kindness and affection was what made mithos realize what a horrible person he's been? absolutely freaking excellent
what about the individual characters involved? what does this relationship mean to them, what makes it unique among their relationships?
I KINDA. ALREADY WENT OVER THIS BUT both of them have to pretend to be someone they're not All The Time. genis bottles up all of his negative emotions so he doesn't make things harder on his sister and lloyd and colette, not to mention the whole pretending to be an elf rather than a half-elf thing, and mithos has been forced into playing an Ideal Villainous Leader for 4000 years when that's not even really him. he even freaking says so himself in the game that acting as yggdrasill is the only way to be taken seriously
...not to mention that, well, all it took for mithos to realize that what he's done is Freaking Awful is to go down and see what's happened, and for just one person to be kind to him. which means he'd been isolated and stuck up there for 4000 years, and no one was ever just...kind. to him. ugh. augh
favorite interaction they have in canon
I WISH WE COULD STAY TOGETHER FOREVER DOT PNG
favorite interaction they have in your head/a situation you want to put them in
i wwant them to cook together since genis is super good at it and since mithos is an angel he has no sense of taste i think it would be funny

More obscure muses ( introduction ) series.
Fandom: SOUL EATER.
Muse #2 -DEATH THE KID.
Tumblr media
Age: 13-15 ( manga and anime )
Death the Kid, commonly referred to as simply Kid, is the second son of Death himself and the Meister of the Demon Twin Guns, Liz Thompson and Patty Thompson. Created from a piece of Death himself, Death the Kid is known to be one of the top 3 EAT students in the DWMA.
After his father's death at the connection of the Lines of Sanzu and Asura's defeat on the Moon, he inherits his late father's position as leader and headmaster of Death Weapon Meister Academy as well as his name, Lord Death.
Described as possessing an "uptight personality" by Franken Stein, Death the Kid is known to be a normally calm and mature individual compared to those like Black☆Star and Soul Eater. Throughout the series, he's shown to be prideful of his status as a Shinigami, wanting to become the next full-fledged Shinigami and inheriting his father's responsibilities However, he also wants to do so in his own unique way, even telling his own father he wants to makes his own weapons to his specifications despite Death informing him that as a Shinigami, he doesn't really need to collect souls. According to Black☆Star's testament of his view on Death the Kid, despite being a Shinigami he is also capable of being humane and not displaying the typical arrogance of someone who has the status of a god. This is true, so much so that he even see's himself partly as a human and expressed this fact to Asura.
Kid also has a great sense of morality and order, having expressed to the Flying Dutchman that despite being a god, he doesn't deny evil and that there's no one person without some evil within them. However, he believes that everything is about balance instead and strives to keep the balance between "good" and "evil" in equilibrium. When expressing this, he also informed the Flying Dutchman that cares little for other's view on the subject and strives for a "absolutely" perfect world, granting no one freedom to kill.
Kid's view on balance is partly due to his father's teachings to him on order as a child. Despite favoring order, he also aware of not following it blindly. He's quick to question his own father's actions when he had the DWMA storm into Baghdad when searching for Asura and explained that it's wrong to impose their will on others, though was understanding and sympathetic of his father when he realized that due to the threat of Asura, his father doesn't have the luxury of "playing it safe" and may be reckless in his decisions. When the majority of Spartoi was ordered to execute Crona, Kid was the only one who supported the action, citing that Crona's actions were unforgivable and even alluded that the reason why they were ordered to do so by his father was for them to decide how to face Crona but said that both them and "order" must move forward to take care of the threat Crona possessed.
Kid is also extremely humble, shown when he pleaded to the Witch Order, the Witch Judge, and the Witch Queen to assist the DWMA in stopping The Clowns and pushed for both Humans, Witches, the DWMA, and the Witch Order to have better relations. He also put good faith and trust into the Witch Order, despite the protests of Azusa Yumi. He also explained to Azusa that merely holding ideals means nothing and one must realize that people must make an effort to make things better and that If being an adult means "stapling out ideals" because of experience, he doesn't mind being called "Kid". Because of his views, Azusa comments that he is also pushy, much like his father.
Like his father, he also has a fierce and much darker side in his personality. While normally calm and collective, Kid is still susceptible to being angered, such as when Mosquito insulted his father and when Noah's Group announced their plan to assassinate Maka Albarn, he showed a considerable amount of anger. When he later faced Noah (Greed) on his plans of "replacing the gods", Kid even gave him a death threat, in which was guaranteed when he used the Parent's Seven Rays attack on the Sorcerer, killing him.
Despite his great capabilities, Kid also possesses some flaws, most notable him being a perfectionist to the point of having OCD/OD-esque qualities. Described as being "too much of a perfectionist", he initially was very obsessed and concerned with orderliness and paying excessively close attention to detail so much so he chose them as weapons due to their twin appearance in their weapon forms, and even refused to attack the Wrath of the Pharaoh due to symmetry. As well as this, he dislikes the fact that his Lines of Sanzu were incomplete and upon Liz pointing it out, he called himself an ugly pig and worthless piece of garbage until he was quickly cheered up by his fellow weapon partners. He is even physically repulsed by asymmetrical arrangements.
Due to his wanting to be precise in detail, it even took him over a month to help Liz pluck her eyebrows; in addition, he fails an entire test due to being unable to correctly write his name symmetrically and accidentally ripping the paper while erasing, before being reduced to tears. He also let Crona and Ragnarok get away to admire the sky and it's symmetry. Even the mere sight of something asymmetrical causes him to become more aggressive, not only killing the Wrath of the Pharaoh in a fit of rage, but also destroying the Pyramid Anubis due to his recklessness. In actuality, this part of his personality is a manifestation of the Madness of Order due to being a part of Death himself, a fact he himself is unaware of.
Despite this flaw, he is noticeable not unaffected by his father's appearance despite it being asymmetrical possibly due to his immense respect for him. This is a bit more evident when Kid was shown to even willingly sport the same robes of what his father wears on missions. As time passes throughout the series (and the anime), he becomes less affected of his perfectionist nature and matures enough to accept it, though will still occasionally bicker over small details. This remains true even when he became a true Shinigami. One of the earliest examples of this improvement is displayed when he claims not to care about the DWMA's broken spike as Black☆Star begins to descend into madness during their second duel.
Kid has his own, odd quirks. His favorite number is eight due to its symmetry and, according to Liz, was willing to try and place himself in exactly eight seconds during a 100 meter dash test and end up not meeting the time. He can also be somewhat overconfident in his ability, feeling the need to not study Soul Studies just because he was a Shinigami. Due to his perfectionist personality, he is the type of person to recall and correct people on the small of detail, pointing out even when infected by the Madness of Power to Black☆Star he never punched him and instead used his heel during their fight when Black☆Star erroneously stated he punched him into submission, something the assassin noted to be unique to Kid.

The Interplay Of 3 Theories ‘Pareto Principle’, ‘Pendulum Effect’ And ‘Spiritual Awakening’ Among The Young People: A Positive Hong Kong Future!
I am a believer of Galileo’s ‘pendulum effect’ and Pareto’s ‘80/20 rule’. I particularly believe so after the social disturbance of 2019 and COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 22 in Hong Kong.
Life swings like pendulum backward and forward: between happiness and pain, hope and frustration, and activeness and passiveness. Some said the past 4 years have been the worst time in Hong Kong since World War II. The human brain starts swinging the moment when we are down, and moves back to the position after we stand up again. Life will open up if we swing.
The ‘pendulum effect’ theory teaches us that life, as well as luck, both swing back and forth between 2 opposite extremes; and melodramatically between the hell and heaven.
The ‘80/20 rule’ lets us observe a group of the young who get the nerve to head for the sun. Ever since 2019, some young people have been complaining that Hong Kong is a society of injustice. They waited a long time without finding opportunity for any social or economic mobility. The political situation in Hong Kong made them angry. Their unfinished business was to leave Hong Kong as soon as possible.
‘No cross, no crown’. In the pessimistic world, there are however 20% young people who think differently. There are also those who swing, under the ‘pendulum effect’, from the mentality of giving up to now working hard again. During the past few years while the others just followed suit, the 20% were critical-minded and went through a process of ‘spiritual awakening’. They started to notice the light around themselves and the tunnel ahead. Real freedom of life for them became not dwelling in complaints or empty talks, and they just put courage into the head.
This group of young minorities overcame the challenge of learning how to better manage the frustration in life and the fear that Hong Kong would be doomed to fail. They roll up the sleeves, take a deep breath and run. Some bravely chase their business dreams by putting money in ‘startups’. Some proudly take care of the modest family business such as fish monger, butcher and vegetable seller without feeling diffident. Some adventurously go to the new economic zone in the Mainland ‘Greater Bay Area’ to look for ‘Tech’ jobs.
I know a few young people, in an attempt to rebuild livelihoods, swing from office job to working in construction sites and funeral parlours. Some set up small workshops to pursue their personal passion such as making leather tote bags and independent watch brands.
It was said that to be different from others is the only way to become distinguished from the common herd. Let us be glad, therefore, that we differ from one another in form and in disposition. Variety is the spice of life, and I am sure the young people are now various enough to enjoy one another’s unique realm.
There are 2 interesting findings from the statistics reports made by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board. More and more young people agree that vocational schooling and on-the-job training are more useful than general education. An increasing number of young people want to save more money so that they can give better support to the family. What a good change!
Youth is a worthwhile phase of one’s life. It is an age to develop traits of heroism, toughness, curiosity and wisdom. There are many good reasons why young people rebel against parents and society. In fact, some rebellions later become great causes for social changes. Youth is bold. But soon, some will learn and become leaders of tomorrow. We must become introspective, involving our own youth to try to understand the youth presently before us. The youth before us will swing between 2 values. The 20% will surely awaken during the journey of life and let go of fear and anger when the 80% are still un-alert. A writer said, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.”
You saw Hong Kong and asked, “Why?” The important 20% now see Hong Kong and exclaim, “Why not?” Hong Kong is actually full of beauty, apart from her ugly sides. This is however what all big cities in the world are like. A small group of people now fight for dreams when the majorities may be still going the ‘goblin mode’. I am nevertheless optimistic that they will change too.
People do something primarily because other people are doing it, regardless of their own beliefs. When the strong ‘bandwagon effect’ led by the critical 20% takes place as the force of locomotion, Hong Kong will transform…

WEARING SILK SAREE IS MORE BENEFICIAL TO OUR HEALTH IN 6 WAYS
ABOUT SILK…
One of the most widely worn outfits in India is the saree. Indian women wear them at almost all ages and stages of life. The most important moments in Indian culture are incomplete without a saree. The saree is a staple of Indian celebrations in one form or another, whether worn by the lady of the house, the closest female visitors, or as a significant gift. The saree is popular with everyone, including renowned women leaders, the most accomplished ladies in India, and the most basic of women.
Most people all around the world, especially Indians, have a special place in their hearts and imaginations for the gracefully shimmering, smooth, and luscious fabric of silk. We are so mesmerised and in awe of this gorgeous fabric that we unconsciously link silk with wealth and sophistication, but most of them don’t know that silk offers some benefits for our health also.
SILK – AN INDIAN FASHION STATEMENT
Understanding the significance of silk sarees in Indian culture makes it easier to understand the greatness of the silk saree, which is the most beautiful and well-liked of all saree varieties. The most favoured and incredibly regal fabric is silk. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that these unique sarees would be made of luxurious silk. Without silk sarees, an Indian woman's wardrobe or wedding rituals would be unfinished.
SILK- AS AN INDIAN TRADITION
In India, silk sarees are worn for all traditional events. They are given as gifts and worn at significant events. Even today, they are preserved and valued. Rich, heirloom silk sarees are gifts given at weddings by mothers, grandmothers, and grooms, in addition to the bridal jewellery. Silk sarees are recognised as sacred and lucky, and they are even given to renowned goddesses and respectable female relatives. Such is India's reverence for silk sarees! Although it may vary significantly from place to region within India, this custom is present in all areas in one way or another.
HEALTH BENEFITS OF SILK SAREES ….
We frequently associate silk with elegance and allure. But there's a lot more to it than that, especially when you wear it. Even though silk is far more expensive than any other fabric, it is all-natural and does have significant health advantages. Silk saree vendors offer the highest calibre attire with a captivating appearance that may highlight your beauty at any event.
Silk is one of the most expensive fabrics one could own and is used to make sophisticated and upscale apparel and decor. It has several health advantages and is a sign of sophistication.
1) Silky, healthy hair
Everyone has heard the phrase "healthy silky hairs." This isn't just a phrase used to describe the beauty of shiny, healthy hair; in fact, silk encourages the growth of hair that is shinier and healthier. The use of a silk cushion when sleeping not only minimises hair breakage and damage caused by tangling. The smooth, supple texture of silk allows the hair to rest comfortably against one another, minimising the possibility of damage from tangling and drying. Sleeping with your hair wrapped in a silk scarf helps delay the release of extra oil, keeping your hairstyle in place longer.
2) Silk sarees and skin health
Silk is the ideal solution for people who have dry, dehydrated skin. Silk sheets can help the skin retain moisture as you sleep. The characteristics of the silk weave stop the skin's moisture from evaporating, keeping it well-hydrated. This further slows down skin ageing, allowing you to maintain youthful, healthy skin for longer.
3) Silk saree & good sleep habits
Our physical and mental wellness are both impacted by how well we sleep. The body and mind are rejuvenated while sleeping. Your quality of sleep can be significantly enhanced by using silk bedding. For everyone who struggles to fall asleep and turns to sleeping medications, getting good sleep is no longer dependent on pills. Isn’t it a good benefit of silk for health!!!
4) Wear Silk saree and be safe from allergies
Natural repellents like dust, bacteria, mites, mould, and many other common allergens are kept at bay by silk. It's one of the main causes why anyone can wear silk. Silk is free of any potential allergens, making it the perfect option for those with allergic skin. It shields the skin from any flare-ups, skin rashes, and even more from the runny and stuffy nose that the majority of allergy sufferers experience.
5) Silk fights with one of the Menopause symptoms
Silk helps battle one of the most challenging signs of ageing, hot flushes during menopause, in addition to making you look younger with radiant and smoother skin. Silk is an extremely airy and lightweight material. Silk has a built-in ability to regulate body temperature, making it more comfortable and cooler to sleep in. It lessens perspiration, which lessens the likelihood of hot flushes.
6) Adaptable to all weather conditions
A thread formed of natural fibres is called silk. Due to its lightness and airiness, it is even appropriate for the summer. Due to its low conductivity, it tends to keep warm air near to the body in cold temperatures.
So, the conclusion of the blog is if you want to stay fit and healthy …. just go and flourish your wardrobe with beautiful silk sarees….and offer your health some benefits of silk.
