July 18th is Desi and Arab Goth Representation Day and, in celebration, Uttar Pradesh, India-based darkwave act Willow Scarlet released a video for "Pishach," the first part of their new dark South Asian folklore and mythology-inspired release Veeran, which celebrates by featuring clips of various Desi and Arab goth influencers. A pishacha, the subject of the song, is a flesh-eating and blood-drinking demon in Hindu lore.

general goth kids hcs pt1!! henri and firkle will have their own post

michael:

The poetic one.

asian on both sides, himalayan-south asian and vietnamese mix. doesnt believe in gender, i like various hcs where hes gnc amab or afab it doesnt matter to me though i usually depict a transmasculine michael. Socially inept but has a burning desire to make more friends in an attempt to strengthen the Goth circle/community, but sucks at making new friends truthfully. autistic, schizophrenic. grows up to be a 6'6 giant that hits his head on doorways and has to hunch a lot. ace/grey and holds a secret undying love for pete but would rather cut his throat out than ever confess it. He channels it in poetry, song lyrics, and music. THE INFO DUMPER OF THE GROUP Gothness is almost a special interest to him and he knows way too much on the subject, comes off as a pretentious know it all but it comes from a genuine place of love and interest. Genuinely beautiful singing voice and a good musician. Grows up to be a professor either in theology or philosophy (so he can be a certified know it all of course). he def grows into his features as he grows up and becomes pretty beautiful as an adult, but Michael never cared for conventional standards of beauty or how he fit into it. Henrietta was Michaels first goth friend but he prior attempted to be close with those in the asian communities of south park, it didnt really work out since he was always an outsider. The only fairly close nongoth friend of his was the DDR kid from the dance off episode. Has general anger issues!!!

Pete:

the sensitive one

Japanese but he doesnt know much about his family. I like to think hes also just Japanese or mixed with something but doesnt know what that side is yet. raised by his grandparents and aunt or something, but probably has a single dad that is constantly working so he didnt spend that much time with him. Grew up very poor and romanticized simple things+older things and enjoyed daydreaming more than anything. Musically inept and sounds like a dying bird but the goths never shoot him down for it, except maybe Henrietta because shes allowed to. Visually artistic, paints surrealist/fine art pieces and makes crafts on ocassion. Insecure in his gothness and in himself and as a result he barks back the most at others. probably 5'3 forever, acne all over, nails bitten to hell, lips too, probably thin hair and kind of lost as to what he wants to do in the future--but he cooks pretty well out of survival which lands him a line cook job later on. hes a romantic and loves romantic era literature, much to everyone's ('Cept Michael..) dismay. Michael was the one to recruit him and all the goths pitched in to buy Pete new clothes and to live at least aesthetically somewhat happier than he was prior. Pete recruits Firkle later on additionally but all the goths have a hand in making sure he grows up with the right ideas. Pete doesn't necessarily have anger issues but hes deeply insecure and easy to react so he comes off as the hotheaded one in the group, when in truth Michael and Henrietta harbor far more internal anger issues.

ive noticed that i haven’t really seen any brown simmers around b4 which is kind of weird to me?? like the sims is literally everywhere and it’s especially big in the americas which has a ton of brown ppl too so i was just looking for any brown simmers to be mutuals with 😭😭

like i wanna see my people too!! the diversity in the sims brings so much potential for south asian rep and i just don’t see it as much as i’d like even with bella goth being the most iconic sim ever AND desi. ill check the brown simmers tag and there’s like ten posts so!! yeah!! even if you’re not south asian pls rb this to get the word out but if u are put it in the tags!!

She’s both a gamer and a supermodel, an already incredible feat, but she’s also incredibly good at reading her opponents and hypnotism! She’s one of the few opponents in the series to make Yami/Yugi noticeable stressed for… multiple reasons, one involving her pet tiger and Anzu in the next room

she is one of the very few opponents who gets brought back later, and when she does she almost beats Jounochi's ass in human street fighter, a vote for Aileen is a vote for women's wrongs!

so if you don't know season 0, kaiba has four game masters he recruits from around the world to duel yugi. Aileen Rao is one of them, which means of all the people in the world, she is one of a very few people that seto freaking kaiba thinks has mad skills

and she does!

she plays this game where players put up pieces and try to guess what the other has played in order to eliminate the opponent's pieces (link explains the game better). Aileen is so good at this game that yami yugi who has a magic necklace legit thinks that she has supernatural powers for most of the game

Aileen has so much charisma that she's assumed to have hypnotic powers, getting anzu to just hold one ballet position for the entirety of her game with yami yugi

also Aileen has a tiger, which is objectively a cool character trait in any fictional media

she's also Indian-Canadian, which I think is neat because we just don't see a lot of south asian characters in ygo

she's one of my favorite yugioh characters ever and my favorite season 0 character

Incomplete list of my silly little headcannons about Thea

(bc the joys of picking an underrated character to latch onto is I can say whatever the hell I like and who's gonna argue with me?)

-south-asian Thea, always!!!

I don't know huge amounts about South Asian culture but I do know that they have some amazing festivals. Personally I think that Thea was raised Hindu and her favourite festival was Holi- I also think that her least favourite part of being in the nest was the lack of colour. I like to think that each year she'd decorate her dorm with colourful paper to celebrate (yes I know they use coloured water and powder but that would be Messy and thea is Sensible)

-i think that thea was a middle child but one of the eldest so she had a lot of responsibility for her younger siblings. She fell in love with exy because it was something that was only hers, no one else in her family was interested in playing such a violent sport

-i think that out of everything, the strict diet was hardest for her to adjust to

The partner system was fine- her partner was chill, they had similar tastes, enjoyed spending time together, and neither of them got into serious trouble. The strict timetable was a breath of fresh air after the unstructured chaos of her homelife, the 16 hour days didn't even matter, she thrived under consistency and clear instruction. Even the hive mind mentality didn't bother her, it was fairly easy to fake even if she didn't agree with it, but the food? It was bland and boring and she really found herself missing the freedom to cook for herself and eat what she wanted

-whilst I don't think she was abused as a child, I do think it wasn't the best childhood and I think tetsuji not only knew this but actively targeted people with rough family dynamics when recruiting

-before the nest her favourite colour was red. By the time she got out she'd grown to hate it. After that she didn't have a favourite colour for a while but by the time she and Kevin started talking again, it was almost definitely orange

-she went through a goth phase in high school

-when she's anxious or struggling mentally she braids her hair. She was originally taught by her roommate in the nest and went on to learn all sorts of fun, complicated little braids

-her favourite season is spring

[Comic ID: A 4 page comic about Gerry from the Magnus Archives. Page 1: Gerry (a thin white goth person with eye tattoos on each joint) sits in front of a poetrait they are painting. His younger self (a pale child with choppy orange hair) stands at his side and says "Why are you doing that with the colours?" Gerry's hand traces over the painting as they explain "It's a part of light falloff. Where light fades, its colour changes before it disappears." They smile softly down at Young Gerry. Young Gerry glares back and demands "Why are you being nice to me? Mum says not to trust nice people." Gerry looks surprised by this before hesitantly saying "Nice can be good sometimes." Young Gerry frowns in silence before pointing at the painting and asking, "Are they nice to you?" Gerry chuckles saying, "Yeah. In his way."

Page 2: Gerry's hand dips a paint brush into a mug. Underneath the mug is an envelope that has the NHS logo on it. Under the table, the shadows on the floor are pointed. Young Gerry says with some hesitation, "All the shadows... they look sharp." Gerry paints on, not looking at his younger self. A brush with orange paint dips into water. Gerry says, "brightness fades fast". Gerry continues painting as Young Gerry points at the colors. Young Gerry says, "Then it needs more lights" Gerry counters with, "It'll still fade." Young Gerry says, "What if there's more places for light to sneak in?" The shadows are stark and long points across the floor. Gerry continues looking at the painting and says, "Better to use just one source so darkness comes fast and goes just as quickly. Cleaner that way."

Page 3: A soft close up on the painting in which two hands rest together. Young Gerry says with some trepidation, "You said they're nice, right? Wouldn't they want it soft?" Gerry's hand lies empty on the table. The NHS envelope reads "Private and Confidential: Important healthcare information enclosed". Red paint has splattered on the envelope. Gerry hesitates, "I don't know." Young Gerry's hand, now slightly translucent holds his. Young Gerry says without hesitation, "Well, I do." Their other hand, also increasingly translucent, reaches to cup the other side of Gerry's hand. Young Gerry continues confidently, "Let it be soft." Gerry looks down and asks, "How are you so sure?" The ghost of Young Gerry (who has almost disappeared) looks distraught and says "Mum would want it sharp." The shadows are pointed and gnashing behind them. Gerry's eyes are wide as he softly says, "Fuck."

Page 4: A full view of the painting Gerry has been working on. In it, Jon lays on Gerry's lap and looks up at them with soft affection. Jon is a British South Asian man with medium brown skin, thick black and grey hair, a short beard, scars on his face, and bright eyes. The light falls softly across him and Gerry, who is in profile. Stephcass headcanons but i partially project me and my gf onto them

Stephanie is biracial like Cass-Half jamaican,half south korean.This is a great bonding point for them,especially her asian side(Side note:My design for Stephanie is her still having bright blue eyes but also monolids,black butterfly locs,dark skin,a big nose and thick lips and being fat)

Both are autistic and nonbinary trans girls!Stephanie has pastel autism while Cass has goth autism,Stephanie is also genderfluid and bigender and the femme to Cass' butch

VERY physically and verbally affectionate,always giving eachother kisses and non-sexual touches and cheesy nicknames,words of affirmation and so forth

"EXCUSE ME She ask for no pickles!!!" "CASS,I CAN TELL THEM MYSELF,YOU'RE EMBARRASING ME-"

Cass loves legos and Stephanie will gladly build sets with her and watch the shows and movies of the characters with her so she has someone to infodump and also because she loves seeing her happy when they do these!!

They have matching icons on their chat apps at all times-The first example that pops into my head is Jack and Sally <3 (You can probs guess who's who)

Back to fat Stephanie,she's completely unashamed of her plussizedness and Cass thinks it makes her even more beautiful

Cass frequently sends Stephanie pictures that made her think of her,of all variates-Wether it be a character of one of her interests or a food she loves and something particularly punk,she's like ':0!!!!Steph has to see this,it's important!!!' and it's one of the things Stephanie most looks forward to when she wakes up

Stephanie is a tall queen and Cass is her (by comparison) short king

Stephanie puts a great emphasis on how much Cass is worth not just to her but in general,because she deserves it

Also saves up money to buy her gifts!!

And learns how to do gnc goth makeup on her <3

Bruce is actually very supportive,because by the time they get together,him and Stephanie have a great relathionship and he likes teasing Cass about marrying her already(Cass:I will!!!...When we get older)

I was scrolling through South Park tags and saw @paolox3b about some episode ideas so I decided to throw my hat in the ring and share some of mine that is stuck in my head.

Craig and Those Guys - I kinda have to agree with this one, I think a CATG episode is way overdue and Matt and Trey should just give it to us. I'm also kinda curious what kind of dynamic Tweek has with Clyde, Jimmy and Tolkien so this episode could be a dealbreaker.

Eurovision Special - In a bid to get away from their dads for a while, Stan and Tolkien tricks Kyle, Kenny, Eric and Wendy to reunite Fingerbang in a bid to represent San Marino in Eurovision, in the guise of entering the school talent show. Randy and Steve, realizing their kids are missing, must team up to find them, but not before they make another special.

Goth Kids 4: Into The Multiverse of Gothness - when a new student who identifies herself as a different kind of Goth shows up in school one day, the Goth Kids realize that not only are there different kinds of Goth, but also that they do not get along and are at war with each other. It's up to the Goth Kids to save the day when they realize the fighting is breaking up the Goth-Space Continuum.

Craig Tucker vs. The World - Parodying Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, when some kid shows up and tries to beat up Craig for Tweeks hand, Craig must defeat seven evil jealous kids who only want one thing: Tweek's affection (even though Tweek doesn't know them).

The Return of Gary Harrison - When Gary returns to South Park, Stan decides to make amends with him and become a proper friend, which leads to Wendy thinking Gray is stealing Stan for himself, leading to an epic showdown that Gary doesn't really want to be involved with. Meanwhile, Tweek and Craig tries to go on a date once the attention goes to Stan and Gary. But when everytime they try to have a moment, Clyde cockblocks them for pictures he can sell to the Asian Girls, forcing them to go to extreme lengths to get away from him.

Bad Goths Club - When Michael finds out that Pete called him a poser, Eric gets the idea of placing the Goth Kids (along with Stan and Karen) in his old home where they have to stay in for one month and turn it into a reality show for all of South Park to enjoy, to the discomfort of Kyle and Kenny.

Edit: I left out some ideas because I kinda forgot about it or haven't thought of them for a while now when I looked at the post, so here's the final two.

Rise of The Country Kids - A response or callback to that one Hetalia strip where America and England turned into South Park characters. When a new kid shows up introducing himself as America and started saying things like "I'm the Hero", the gang and entire town realizes that not only personifications exist, but there are more of him and are equally as weird as him. This puts a lot of concern for Kyle, who just witnessed Cartman befriending that Russian kid with the creepy aura. Meanwhile, the ASEAN gang made themselves comfortable at the Stevens residence and the Philippines personification turned Bebe's room into a vlogging studio, to Bebe's annoyance.

Band in China II: Drop the Bass - After the closure of Tweak Bros. Coffee in Unfulfilled, Tweek turns to DJing and music production to support himself and his family, hopefully to jumpstart back their business. With the help of his friends, he became an online sensation, but what happens when he liked a tweet that will get him and his music banned in China?

South Park Sims4 Save

A first look at my South Park Preteen Save!

First and foremost this is a LGBTQ+ friendly save! I have future plans for Butters being genderfluid, Kyle is already a transitioning FTM, and I play with Lumpinou's LGBTQAI+ mod so if that's not your cup of tea then please disregard 😅

Sims were taken from the Gallery, made preteens, and then remade by me. Therefore all characters' bases are not mine

Any houses/landmarks/buildings are taken from the Gallery

The kids are only preteens right now, so clothing and actions will be modest- however once they age up to teens it's going to be Euphoria High up in here

I play with mods (WW/RPO/ETC) so expect DRAMA

This includes Basemental Dru- I mean Tegridy abound

The only relationships are Creek and the parents for maximum spice; I will be adding past sentiments like Heidi/Eric and Wendy/Stan being exes for depth

All the 4th graders are starting off as preteens! The older siblings starting as teens and younger siblings as kids.

Notes on the Girls:

Yes, Heidi is a hippie, I thought it was poetic justice for our girl

She also instantly rolled the want to flirt with Red 😶

Bebe is Brazilian-American and Wendy is Asian-American because I wanted more diversity and I love those headcanons! I'm white so feel free to give me tips on how to better represent these groups and cultures

I forgot to make Heidi and Bebe thicc like I wanted to, so expect changes

It's winter in the picture, it just hasn't snowed yet

4: mythical creature you think/believe is real?

I just answered this a bit more in depth, but basically any sea-bound creature. I forgot to mention Sea Serpents, so Sea Serpents! The ocean is way too big and deep and undiscovered for us to exclude the possibility of mythical/fantastical creatures living there!

15: rank the methods of death: freezing, burning, drowning

Okay I literally think about this all the time. They're all awful but from less to worse: Burning; Drowning; Freezing. My reasoning is that burning is so painful and quick, your body will shut down due to trauma before you even have time to process. Freezing on the other hand is a slow process and incredibly painful in all aspects. So yeah.

22: do you have an emotional support water bottle?

I DO. I love water okay? My go-to water bottle is a pink and black transparent sports bottle with the little sippy straw thing that goes up and down. I can't explain it better and I'm too lazy to take a photo of it haha.

23: do you wear jewelry?

I. Love. Jewelery. So I have a number of piercings/gauge that I never take off. Aside from that, I'm always wearing a million rings, and stacked necklaces / chokers. I prefer dainty, gold jewellery with minimal accents. I used to use a bunch of silver, spiky, big statement stuff as a teenager (my goth/emo years), but the truth is that gold looks so much better with my completion (think latina/south asian).

My favourite pieces are my snake and moon piercings, a mood ring, and a gold necklace with a little moon/sun/stars flat charm my father gifted me years ago. I use it almost everyday.
