9th House: How do the Elemental groupings take interests of culture

Good day to you all! I wanted to write down how each elemental group takes interest in certain aspects of a culture. No sign, element or modality dictate what specific culture you lean towards nor dictates what certain aspects of culture you are drawn to exclusively. This means that you are more drawn to these aspects of a culture, which includes the influence of planets in the 9th house, aspects, and of course, your personal choice/will. I will constantly be using the word “a culture” and not “foreign culture” since the 9th House rule culture, not just foreign culture. Learning culture isn’t exclusive to traveling, especially now we have the internet to learn cultures though nothing beats being there yourself. That being said, here are the following groups that influence your affinity towards certain aspect of a culture in your 9th house (No planetary and aspects):

Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius 9th House)

Interested in the brighter and optimistic side of a culture

Interested in a culture’s martial arts and its philosophy

Might enjoy a (healthy) competition with locals of that culture (Ex: Might want to horse race the locals who are renown for horse riding)

Enjoys learning about their religion/faith

Interested in activities that are popular in a culture (Surfing in an island culture for example)

Loves to join cultural festivities and parties

More interested in traveling the countrysides of their preferred culture’s country (Ex: I have a Leo in the 9th house and I would love to ride a horse in the countryside of Japan)

Could be interested on individuals of that particular culture who are popular and helped the country/culture in their own way

Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn 9th House)

Interested in the culture’s structure and how it operates day-to-day basis (This reminds me about Paolo from Tokyo’s videos wherein the majority of his videos talks about how your average Japanese works in Japan, specifically Tokyo)

Interested in the culture’s traditions from traditional clothing and traditional celebrations

Likely prefers the old school aspects of a culture

Takes special interest in a culture’s food and beverages

Likes to know how a culture promotes physical health (Ex. Dietary culture, popular physical exercises)

Interested in the general work culture of the culture. Also interested in how businesses and economy works in a culture

Loves to be in the countryside though probably less hyperactive than Fire on the 9th

Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius 9th House)

Interested in the culture’s language(s) and dialect(s)

May be interested in learning their sense of humor

Interested in how they communicate; how they conduct themselves socially/ knowing the social norms and mores

Interested in knowing the culture’s trends and fads

Interested in their education system

Interested in knowing what is progressing (Ex: technological advancement, values that are progressive for them)

Interested in what part of that culture is unique (Ex: Tipping in Japan is considered offensive in comparison to other countries. Japanese takes pride of doing great services and tipping indicates that they are not doing a great job while a country like the United States believes in the opposite)

Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces 9h House)

Interested in the dark and cynical aspects of a culture (Ex: history of violent wars, war crimes, how a culture oppress their minorities, you get the memo)

Interested in the taboo side of the culture

Interested in knowing how the family structure works and how dynamic it is

Interested in their spirituality, philosophy, and mental health

Interested in the lesser known/mysterious part of a culture

Could be interested in knowing how a culture operates emotionally

Might be attracted to the occult aspects of a culture. Might research about cults (defining “cult” depends on the culture’s definition in combination of your own terminology)

♡ Venus in the 7th house ♡

These couple usually views commitment as all or nothing, are you in or not? They have strong values about true love, and they will follow them. Love is viewed as a contract by their souls or hearts. If they break any aspect proposed, they know it's the end. They can be reflections of themselves either the good or the bad. When the contract is done, it's over. The Venusian sees the house person as a very stable being. They feel safe and prepared for them. These two may live together before the year of knowing each other romantically. The pair just feel ready when it's about commitment. The house natives perceive the Venusian as very "wife/husband" material for them. ♡ Venus in the 8th house ♡

These two have a different kind of love. The Venusian feels like the house person bring something in them that they can explain. Sometimes, these people have taboos to share. Death has impact their lives. The house person may become obssess with the planet person. Sex isn't a way emerger together. Usually, they possess the same interest in taboo topics. In the beginning, Venus feels attracted to the house, but it's also scared of them. Their sexual energy is intense. The 8th house person wants to know the Venusian's secrets and fears. Both are possessive, but the house win the round. They detest when their partner don't respect them. Their relationship status will remain a secret for the public eye (in the beginning). They would share many things even traumas (if hardly aspected). The house native will protect the Planet from the world. Sex can be very intimate or aggressive (bsdm stuff). These people will not be the same they were when they met. For them, love is intense and transformational. The house feels that the Venus native is trustworthy, but they need to see their actions. Holding hands during intimate times. During sex they will talk and have intense stares. These individuals perceive love as a new adventure and try to go with the flow. If they're mature, they prefer to maintain a very healthy relationship. Both prefer to travel and know about new places and cultures. Love is not as other say. They may prefer to do things their way. Venusian isn't instantly involve, but they see the house as interesting. For the house native, the planet is nice an attractive, but they will not force things. The house native could be older than the Venusian. The house person likes the planet manners and life vision the most. They see the commitment as an experience. Sometimes, marriage isn't obligatory requirement. They may enjoy walks, museum, and play board games. One could be from another country or have a different culture. Coworkers to lover vibes. They are comfy with being mature. Similarly to the previous combo, the house partner is the older one or has more experience. This partner also has more dominant energy. They could meet in different levels. The negative aspect is that they could be very nitpicking and too logical when it comes to love. The planet individual sees the house person as straightforward and mature. Partnership is very important is like a contract. If one of the part broke a part of the deal, it's done. They can work together or met during their carrer path (college, conference). They are straightforward and mature when approaching the other. If badly aspect, it could have a power imbalance (not good). Big egos over emotions, this is the start of arguments. They plan their dates. The planet person accepts that the house individual cares for their image and professional life. The Venusian isn't afraid of being a home stayed wife. Here the Venusian knows and appreciates the house efforts to balance their stability. Nonetheless, the house person must value the venusian support. ♡ Venus in the 11th house♡

Love depicts a friend to lover storyline where both care for dreams and humanity. It's very possible that they met when they were helping other people. The Venusian fits the house' s ideal type. They seem more friendlier than other couples. You wouldn't think they were dating. They prefer to joke around, but they love each other. The Venusian share the dreams the house native have for life. It's also likely that they like each other in the future, even if they met since birth. They prefer to have experience with love before settling down. Its common to see them as "I thought they were friends". The Venusian see the house person as humanitarian and very interesting. Stay protected because big family can be a thing. The must clarify about what is a family for both. The house perceives the planet native as beautiful and too much to some people. Together, they will form a very unique pair and family. Regardless Venusian feel the planet as hopeful person. The eleventh house person sees a future with the venusian because they feel understood. Love is simple but blurry. They can't get confused in how they love. The house sees the Venusian see them as the real deal. The planet perceive the house native as too good for them. There are some blurry aspects that they don't understand. When this synastry happens, it can feel too blurry for outsiders. Sometimes, they feel as friends and others as partners. At times, they hide their feelings without realizing or because they don't want to hurt the other. The house may hide their crush for the planet (too well). The Venus feel like the house person hides things for them. The house native don't want to bother the venusian. Talk about paranormal activities like any other topic, special dates, random celebrations, secret spots, discreet dates, spirtual conection, they may understand the other, but can't explain it.

The 9th House and In-laws

The 9th House is associated with your in-laws. This house can describe your in-laws' personalities, some of the family dynamic, and your overall relationship with them. *Due to the 10th House's association with authority and parents' influence some may look at this House to reference in-laws as well.

Aries: Marrying into a highly competitive family, maybe a sports family, or maybe a military family. Passion, leadership, confidence, and self-focus may somehow be themes in the dynamics or personalities of in-laws. Aries is associated with separation and independence; this could indicate a more distant relationship to in-laws or even in a more literal sense with the in-laws being separated. Anger and arguments may be commonly caused by in-laws. In-laws could also be highly enthusiastic and encourage fun, assertion, risk, and being enterprising in your marriage or as a family unit.

Taurus: Marrying into a predictable, routine, unmoving or deeply rooted, maybe controlling family. In-laws may be dependable, huge foodies or materialistic, potentially may spoil their family, could be an artistic family, or a down-to-earth one. With Taurus's association with security this may mean they give their daughter/son in-law plenty of reassurance and stability OR they could see the new daughter/son as a threat as well. Gemini: Marrying into a family that highly values intellect and has high energy. Some in-laws could be flexible and others unstable. A highly communicative and social family. In-laws may be open-minded, easygoing, but potentially opinionated, may love debate or wild discussions, could seem detached as well. May judge their daughter/son in-law by their field of study, social standing, and how they hold themselves in conversations. Could have a lot to share and teach with their family. Some in-laws may be highly supportive and others two-faced, gossipers, and tricky.

Cancer: Marrying into a family that may have a great focus on family loyalty and tradition. In-laws could be very protective over their children and may not always be welcoming to spouses. Some could also be on the other end of the spectrum - highly understanding and kind to a son/daughter in-law. An in-law could be highly intuitive and frequently shares their wisdom. This family can have attachment issues. In-laws could be manipulative and possessive. This can also be a family one may easily be able to get close to, in-laws who embrace a spouse as one of their own. May be the type to show favoritism towards a daughter/son in-law.

Virgo: Marrying into a hard-working, practical, intellectual, and potentially critical family. These in-laws may have high standards for their son/daughter in-law. May be very helpful and supportive in-laws who take on extra tasks, chores, and responsibilities for the couple. Could be rigid, potentially often complainers, and judgmental. These in-laws could be separated, divorced, or not married at all. The in-laws could also be highly detached or estranged from the couple. These in-laws can also be conversationalist, highly value intellect, love a good debate, embrace quirks, and be open-minded or very friendly. There can also be a hypocritical, opinionated, or controlling nature. These in-laws could also be highly unpredictable and unreliable. In healthy and idealistic dynamics they can make a daughter/son in-law feel accepted, be a great teacher, and inspire the couple or individual.

Pisces: Marrying into a sensitive, emotional, maybe artistic, or maybe a touchy-feely family. This family and/or the in-laws may be easy to get along with at first, making a daughter/son in-law feel at home or at ease. But these in-laws can also be manipulative, elusive, and volatile. There can be an unstable and always changing feel to the family dynamics. An in-law or both parents may be highly intuitive and receptive to the married couple's relationship. A son/daughter in-law may conform to their in-laws beliefs and wishes or be highly sensitive to their wants OR the in-laws themselves may be quick to try to please or pacify a son/daughter in-law. Boundaries can easily be crossed in the dynamic. There can be a great opportunity for closeness, but this can come with plenty of pros and cons. Spiritual or religious beliefs may be a hot topic somehow. With Pisces strong association to healing, an in-law could become the mom this individual always wanted, or the daughter/son in-law could be the daughter/son the in-law always wanted. Or the individual may act as the family's therapist.

🦊Libra Chiron, Venus Chiron aspects and Chiron in the 7th house often experience pressure from parents when it comes to partnerships. They might have parents that had a hand in coming together with their partner in union, marriage. I'm not saying these people experience an arranged marriage, we should look for other aspects for that, but whenever the native is in a serious partnership, the parents might pressure them to get married, they are rooting for it to happen.

🦊Mercury Chiron people along with Chiron in the 3rd house feel like they were never chosen when it comes to friendships, partnerships. They were the last picked on soccer team or for a team project. Therefore these people often want to have more variety, they desire more people around them that they can choose from.

🦊Neptune square Chiron people often don't like their feet, the shape and how they look.

🦊Libra Chiron and Chiron in the 7th house often have the feel like partnership is something hard to come by.

🦊Pisces and Sagittarius Chiron have tons of hobbies, because they often feel like they lack rich "inner world". So they need a lot of hobbies to fill them. They might think about themselves that they are not really that imaginative.

🦊Jupiter positive aspect Juno often have a person that they met when young and stay in touch throughout life for many years.

🦊Ascendant negative aspect Ceres often come across as they simply don't care even when they actually do. They need to work hard to overcome their tendency to micromanage too or giving opinion when is not asked for. These people often come across as not caring enough, so they end up overdoing it to the point of being overly sweet with compliments or little gifts. They might be tempted to buy affection of a person.

🦊People with Sagittarius Ascendant (Gemini Descendant) might often attract a partner that ends up looking more like their sibling or a cousin rather than a partner. One example of this happening in real life is Madeline Argy (Sagittarius Ascendant) and her former partner British rapper Central Cee (Gemini Sun).

🦊Boyfriends of a Virgo Sun often end up looking very boyish or have this teenage charm, like they look pure, angelic and young.

🦊I often find in same Sun couple (for example both are Capricorn Sun) that one of them has Libra Juno. They are looking for the same version of themselves basically.

🦊People with Scorpio South Node need to learn in this lifetime that not all of people in their inner circle of friends, family and romantic partners deserves their time, energy and affection.

🦊Virgo Jupiter and Virgo over the 9th house natives might feel anxious about engagements and marriage. They have this back and forth thinking about marriage, one day they are up for it, other days they are more anti marriage. Also, these people could feel like their in-laws are hot and cold or two-faced with them. One day they get along really well with them, the next day they might be more ignorant. You could travel with your in-laws too. You might also work with your in-laws, like being part of family business.

🦊Mercury in the 12th house, Virgo/Gemini over the 12th house keep their room, home soo tidy. Like they can't fall asleep if there are still dirty dishes in their kitchen.

🦊Actor Matthew Perry from Friends had so many addiction indicators in his Natal chart is unbelieveable, such a concentrated chart.

🦊I noticed in romantic Composite charts that Libra over the 12th house often points to the fact that the romantic connection, partnership might not flourish, happen. Because there is this feel that both STILL don't know each other well. There is so much confusion between both with this placement. A lot of misunderstandings, miscommunication or misplaced expectations.

🦊That person you had feelings for, but never confessed? You might have Composite Pisces Moon with this person.

Don’t steal any of this or at least give credit.

- People who lack air placements may be conservative and fixated on their own ideas. Individuals struggle exploring more than they know and lack objectivity.

– Moon square mars is an extremely tough placement to have. Anger is shown in an extreme way and more often than not it can become destructive. Emotions are repressed until they explode and harm others.

– If Venus is in Pisces it may showcase someone who pursues a fantasy and later becomes bored of it (doesn’t fulfill what they thought it would be like)

– 9th house synastry is one where you’ll learn to let go of control and be introduced to things you didn’t know before. It’s an experience you’ll never get twice.

– If you have Pluto in the 12th house there’s a huge chance there was a lost in your family before your mom was pregnant or before you were born.

– Cancer moons/mars are extremely vengeful. If they feel you’ve crossed them they’ll stick with it and try to destroy you over and over again until they feel you’ve learned your lesson. They believe they’re always the victim, so no matter what you say they’ll keep seeing you as their enemy.

– Between both mercurial risings, Virgo risings are better at communicating what needs to be said. Gemini risings, on the other hand, are better at engaging with an audience and keeping their attention.

– The degrees of your placements matter more than you think. If you’re a Virgo venus with a 9th degree you’ll be picky choosing your lovers and struggle with romance as a whole due to own insecurities but stick with foreign lovers and find beauty in imported things. This is because the 9th degree carries Sagittarius energy.

Sagittarius Placement Observations

To all of my Sagittarius placements, ensure you have people that are open-minded and optimistic. Or else that shit is gonna bring you down and feel like shit. Be wild and free. Dream big and that will manifest.

What is covered: Mercury, Moon, Venus, Mars, & general/random observations (at the end).

Mercury

Usually have humour that people find offensive. They're also very sarcastic. Ie, The UK has humour that many find offensive and don't understand when whatever they're saying (to them) isn't meant to be taken as offensive or to heart and that is just their way of bantering/joking around. Curse like sailors when they're upset/mad about and sometimes even when it's about something that they're passionate about. As much as they love to be playful and all, they are very optimistic and open-minded which makes them great for deep conversations They love to exaggerate things and be drama queens even when things weren't deep or serious (and they know it .. usually). It sometimes like a mix of Leo and Gemini energy if you ask me. But due to this they may have a tendency of jumping into conclusions. May struggle with paying attention to detail and the nitty-gritty of things. Bold.

Moon

Usually very adventure, craving challenges and new experiences. May also be spontaneous due to this. Often they're smarter than you think they are and they tend to be sly about their intelligence. Carefree and optimistic in nature. Might've grown up with optimistic mother, hence their optimism. Ride or die type of friends. Applies for all Sag placements but I see this especially with Sag Moons.

Venus

May enjoy traveling with their partners and trying new things. Enjoys a balance of independence in their relationships. Might feel restrained to love because they have a lot of love for those that they love and may not want to seem clingy or overwhelm their partners. Tend to be go with the flow with their relationships.

Mars

If you ask me ... Sagittarius Mars are the scariest. Jupiter (Sags home) is the planet of expansion. You put that together and boom, you got a ruthless ass Mars placement.

May get annoyed with people with narrow mindsets, double standards, liars, being controlled/those who try to control others, arrogance, complaining, lack of action to things. Laughs shit off even in awkward situations. Tend to be very energetic. Playful and may act like a kid.

General

Really well educated and may have thought about getting multiple degrees, a PhD, etc. Really intuitive. Loves to travel and may/often have either been to a lot of places or plan to go to a lot of places. Also tends to travel often. Enjoys learning and trying different cultures, languages, and cusine/food. Might have deep voices. Tend to be detached and have detachment issues. Might also have a avoidant attachment style. Are able and may tend to be the ones making/willing to make the first moves. Due to your 10H Virgo, you may prioritize and care for your career and profession a lot. Often taking your time and however much is needed/necessary to prefect your craft and profession. Really wide range of music they like and listen to. Might be open to drugs or at least trying them. Usually are wild when they're younger but chill down as they grow older. Easy going and don't like to be tied down. Due to Sags 2H/3H being ruled by Saturn you may be sensitive or struggle to singing and making different sounds from your voice. Tend have deep, philopshial questions about life, universe, and even themselves. Wants to find out the truth of things. Tend to have a lot of skills and hobbies.

DISCLAIMER- Placements will not play out the same way for everyone and having challenging placements + aspects does not mean that you are a bad person or that you will have a bad life. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t

-people with the Sun in conjunction to their ascendant have a "what you see is what you get" kind of personality and tend to really fit the stereotypes associated with their sun signs

-People with Saturn in the 10th house usually have to work for every ounce of success they achieved. If they unfairly stepped on people to obtain their power though, their Saturn return will make them fall from grace publicly

-Leo and Pisces mercuries are both prone to exaggerating when speaking about their experiences. The difference between the two is that the latter can genuinely believe the embellished version of their story while the former usually does not

-people with Virgo placements hate when people touch and rearrange their things whether their space is actually clean or not

-Chiron in the 5th house indicates that the native got their creative expression stifled by miserable people in their lives, and/or that they suffered a lot of heartbreak romantically

I'm soo happy, this is already my second post! 🥺

These are my personal observations, they aren't meant to hurt anyone. Take what resonates!

Mercury in the tenth/ mercury conjunct mc is a law placement

Do all virgo sun/moon/rising women nag about everything when they're tired/ stressed? I feel like they are also really bad know-it-alls sometimes

They are also the ones to point out how much you're eating. "Do you really want to eat all of that?" YES! I feel like their parents were very strict or criticising in their childhood! 🥺 I love you guys, but please stop. This isn't healthy for you and neither for me

Virgo and pisces paired in a birth chart is an indicator of working in the medical/ health field

They are amazing at caring for other people and their virgo makes them detail oriented which helps them at university

Pisces mc's are sooo creative! They love showing or even showcasing their creativity on social media

They could also have a really nice aesthetic on social media, they are the ones to post only aesthetic stuff

Ic / moon in Virgo. Their parents prioritised books and wisdom in their childhood. Could have spent many days in libraries or with many books around in general!

Sagittarius moons/ dominants or 9th house dominants excel at university. They are known for their success and good grades, especially in law or politics

Leo suns can be very insecure. I don't understand why, because they're so creative and generous, but somehow they are.

Please embrace yourselves more leo suns! You are great!!

Also, aquarius paired with aries or sagittarius in a birth chart is a massive law indicator. Even Aquarius sun in the 11th or 9th house is.

Jupiter conjunct sun individuals are just beaming individuals. They are popular, well liked and really lively. They love adventures and travelling.

Sagittarius Venus / moon women love horseback riding. They love horses! Of course this can apply to other sag placements, but I noticed these two the most!

Virgo risings are ethereal. Gosh I love their beauty

Venus conjunct neptune hide their romantic feelings. They are literally drawing hearts all over the room while being too shy to actually speak to the person they're in love with.

Definition of falling in love with a version of someone who doesn't even exist. 🥺

This is a huge event for libra placements. Around this time, you can be ending an old version of yourself. Major potential for a glow up. You may feel more tired too. When this occurs, mercury will be in retro in aries and chiron, venus + north node will be in aries. This really makes April the relationship month (platonic, romantic or business).

For some of you, you’ll definitely be finding long term romantic relationships. They may have even begun in February with all that spontaneous, romantic energy. For others, it is friendships or business.

This can be a new relationship beginning that leads to marriage and helps heal your natal chiron (your deepest wound). But it would be nonsense to think that happens for everyone. Especially with mercury in retrograde. For some, this is an ex friend or lover, you or they may reach out for closure. And unfortunately for some, this can be entering a relationship that turns sour later.

April 20 - Jupiter + Uranus conjunct in Taurus

This is in the 8th house for you. I hate to say it but Jupiter (expansion) in 8th (other’s resources) can be an inheritance transit. However, this doesn’t mean someone who loves you will die. This can be someone offering you financial support. Ex: Parent pays for your uni tuition or to pay for your car troubles. Drive safe though always!

Uranus brings sudden and unexpected energy. Jupiter brings knowledge and expansion. In the 8th, this can be wanting to learn more about psychological or taboo topics.

April 23 - Full Moon Scorpio

Venus in 9th House

The free-spirited and worldly beauty

I notice people with this placement usually have very beautiful, well-shaped legs! Strong thighs and calves

Very philosophical. They often follow more optimistic/ idealistic philosophies and outlooks

A love for foreign cultures; they are the type to explore local food spots, language/dialect, and live in Airbnb or host families because they want the authentic experience

i notice that many people with bipolar discorder have water moon or 8H moons/12H moon,moon-uranus/moon-pluto, sun-moon (hard aspects) or cancer mars (its not for self diagnosis its just my observation!!) btw i also have bipolar to be specific i have bipolar type II with mixed features and also i have bpd and i have cancer moon 8H opposition pluto in 1H and in my moon persona chart i have pisces moon, moon conjunction uranus, moon square pluto,sun square moon, moon square asc, moon square mercury and so many others hard aspects to the moon lol so yeah... ☆°

gemini placements/3H placements tend to play hands when they talking !! ☆°

animals can be very attracted to 6H placements peoples i notice this the most with 6H suns, 6 moons, 6H venus and 6H neptune !! :3 ☆°

🏠Aries Moons I noticed are the ones who are most often able to be friends with an ex or be friendly with new partner of an ex. They are the ones most often to be found in a throuple since they are emotionally independent.

🍁Sometimes I noticed you can go for a romantic partner that has the same or opposite Sun sign of your sidereal Moon. To give an example: sometimes someone who has Aries Moon in the Natal chart, this is sidereal Pisces Moon would go for a Pisces Sun or Virgo Sun romantic partner. Here it could also be another Mercurial Sun sign, such as Gemini Sun.

🍂 I noticed sometimes women go for partner with the same Sun sign as their father's Moon sign. To give an example: if her father had Capricorn Moon, she might go for a Capricorn Sun (even Aquarius Sun) or Sun in the 10th house. Similarly, if the father had Pisces Moon in the 12th house, she might go for a partner with Pisces Sun or Sun in the 12th house.
