Clone wars AU where the chips never got activated. In the aftermath of Palpatine’s death, the troopers are so horrified by the thought of Order 66 that they go hole up in Kamino. The Jedi let them do it for a few weeks while they’re unfortunately too busy cleaning up the mess, but then they just,,,,, camp outside their front door. For months. The clones will not outstubborn them this time, no sir. They brought umbrellas, food, books, and lots and lots of tea. So much tea. Soon they’re having little mini festival days waiting for the clones to come out already. It is very confusing for the vode.
On one hand, order 66. Chips. Horror. Their life is even more of a lie, they don't want to hurt the jedi, they're ashamed of essentially being a Trojan horse to the Jedi.
On the other hand, apparently the jedi are all idiots who camp out in the ever pouring rain and are they building a mini temple on our front porch??????

Alright, Is the Star Wars Fandom Sexist?
As you probably know Daisy Ridley signed onto do another Star Wars film. I welcomed this..... mostly. If they don't reunited the Dyad I'm very curious as to what would be the point (more on that later.) Well, I saw this quote from a recent interview of hers, "I think my take is things get blown out of proportion and the interactions I've ever had with people have been nothing but wonderful and supportive," Ridley said. "I've only ever been embraced. And I think we're going to make a great film."
Now whether or not Ms. Ridley actually feels this way.......she's intelligent enough to say just this. Undeniably, all of the men who have talked shit about her for the past 7,8 odd years will now have softened to her for simply not holding them accountable. Hey, that's the biz kids. Don't make enemies out of your audience. No man wants to be called a sexist even if he actually is one.
Tumblr media
Is there sexism in Star Wars? Yes and no. It has never been a straight answer. Now if you ask a lot of men in the Star Wars fandom if they are sexist..... they'll say no. Why? Princess Leia of course! Padme! Strong women who directed men, issued orders and politically led. They did and do support these women. In fact, if you had asked me if the fandom was sexist prior to The Sequel Trilogy I would've said that the SWF is one of the most progressive fandoms for women and has been since the 70s!
Where did it all go wrong?
Well, maybe this
Tumblr media
Or, this
Tumblr media
Maybe just good ole fashion paranoia. Personally, I think it's a combination of all three. The minute Disney bought Star Wars the fandom was primed to distrust it. Change, for better or worse, was on the horizon. Hell, even worse, corporate change. It's Rage against the Machine raging FOR the machine. Least we forget how Star Wars started...... as a "fuck you" to corporatized assembly-line movie production.
However, we are not her to discuss whether The Sequel Trilogy was good. Debatable..... with the exception of Reylo. That's just iconic. We are here to discuss how on earth Daisy Ridley ending up bearing the majority of the responsibility for its failures. Maybe even more importantly the "Feminization" of Star Wars.
Tumblr media
A sane person could tell that. The same people screaming "Star Wars is Dead" for the last seven years are still saying the eulogy. Still going on whining and complaining about it. There is a general rule when franchise start to go off the track - you ignore it was ever made. Godfather 3? Tokyo Drift? Never happened.
If you don't like what Star Wars has become then the first person on your shit list should be it's creator. George Lucas. George could've signed over Star Wars under the guarantee that whatever outline he produced for The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Disney HAD to stick to - he didn't. He could've signed on a producer - he didn't. He could've picked someone else except Kathleen Kennedy to replace him - he didn't. Somehow George Lucas has escaped any responsibility in what his life's work has become. Maybe the fandom got it out of their system after the Prequel Road Rage.
News that George Lucas's treatments were thrown out and the extended universe being cancelled didn't exactly calm down the public.
Tumblr media
Maybe the next person should JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy for for thinking that there was something wrong with Star Wars. Star Wars already was diverse. It already HAD strong females. Yet, there they went finding problems that didn't exist. Why? Money. Disney has a powerful female/family demographic. Star Wars a strong male demographic. Disney sought to combine the best of all worlds in one franchise and they were the company to do it. Look at what they accomplished with Marvel!
Then the announcement came that there would be a female protagonist. A female Jedi to be exact. I thought this was different and interesting. The men did not. What they saw in there head was THE FORCE IS FEMALE in flashing bright lights. This was it. Confirmation. Star Wars was about to get pussyfied. From the get-go Daisy Ridley's Rey was to be a focus, a target, for the mistrust, uneasiness and rage from the men.
Let's me be clear men are ok girls liking their stuff. As long as girls are not in a position to influence whatever it is they like, or rather "ruin it." Can you blame them? If a bunch of straight dudes came in and started writing Sex and the City I'm telling you- they'd ruin it.
Tumblr media
The Force Awakens finally arrives and curiosity was able to lure in even the most salty man. Not to mention the possible joy of seeing Han, Luke and Leia on screen together again. TFA is a perfectly decent film. There were two glaring choices in this film. One, Han is killed. Two, Rey beats Kylo Ren at the end. All things considered we should not have been surprised what the internet had to say. Rey was a Mary Sue. Men who didn't even know what a Mary Sue was were even saying this.
The term “Mary Sue” was first coined in 1973. A young main character, usually a woman, who was portrayed as unreasonably gifted across every discipline: intellect, combat, the arts, etc. This character would often become respected (and maybe even loved) by main characters and would end the story by saving the day in heroic fashion.
You don't have to like Rey. You don't have to love her. Rey isn't even the greatest character ever developed, but come on! I wonderer if the people criticizing her even watched the movie. I heard criticism that Rey was too likable! Well, she's the protagonist. She's too pretty! That's a bad thing? She's too nice! She comes off really brash and naive actually. She's the greatest pilot ever! She flew once and not that well. Most of the criticism around Rey was disingenuous and petty as hell.
Tumblr media
Many critics have taken the lazy route of she has no character arc or character, but that’s not a very observant take. Her yearning for family and her desperation for her parents to return, while understandable, made her vulnerable to Kylo Ren. Her loneliness made her ultimately vulnerable to anyone who would be nice to her. Now I understand there was no consequences for her faults. However, there can't be both criticism. She either doesn't have a personality, or, she has one, but doesn't suffer consequences for it.
“How could she fly the Millennium Falcon so well?” “How could she beat Kylo Ren when she’d never used a lightsaber before?” “How could she resist Kylo Ren’s interrogation?” The film answered most of these questions. Ironically, no one questioned the 8 year old Anakin Skywalker or the farm boy Luke Skywalker for being amazing or great at anything because of The Force.
She grew up defending herself in melee combat. Her quarterstaff is not a lightsaber, of course, but it was established early on that she has the instincts and the reflexes to hold her own in a fight. While I don't agree with Rey beating Kylo Ren I understand how it was accomplished. Pure, dumb luck. It was luck that Ren was physically and spiritually crippled during their confrontation. Not to mention he had the hots for you. Finn was able to hold him off mostly because Kylo was toying with him, but when he grew bored Finn ended up face first in the snow. No one questioned how Finn the janitor could wield a lightsaber.
Tumblr media
Let's talk about Finn, or rather John Boyega. All things considered pretty lucky guy. He got a likable that he played well and got paid well. You wouldn't know it by listening to him. He complained bitterly. He attacked the fans. He attacked Disney. He attacked America. He got off Scott free with fandom. Most remember him with nothing but fondness. Maybe because he is black people feel slightly uncomfortable going after him. But, the women? No problem. Even when fans hate male characters, they talk about what they hate with nuance.
Daisy Ridley did her job and she went home. She carried on beautifully and respectfully with what she was given by the production team. That is all any actor can do. The same would apply to the girl who played Rose Tico. Yet, criticism of what was happening on screen started to bleed onto the actresses in real life.
Mark Hamill shit talked the Sequel Trilogy - fair, enough. But why did you sign on? It he because he needed a job? Hondo wasn't a great leader. I agree. But, countless people ended up losing their lives due to Poe because he refused to listen to the female authority around him. Where was the fandom with their logic bitterness scorecard? The majority of the criticism I heard (Literally several videos on Youtube) was criticism towards Hondo for not telling a newly demoted soldier all of her plans.
Tumblr media
Anywho Rey has this new movie coming out...........okay. Not sure who wants to come back for it other than her. After TROS and the fans most co-stars seem good doing other things. OG characters are killed off. There is one person with stunning jet black hair, 6'3, plush naturally red lips, a big dick, freckles and a heroic run that she's in a dyad with that would make this whole movie worth it. Do I faith they'll do the right thing and pay Adam Driver whatever they need to to bring him back? No. Cause there is a little bit of an agenda. For some reason love in the Star Wars universe doesn't do very well, but for the woman it's none existent. The concept that a strong woman doesn't have to die alone seems odd to the very people that want equality for women. For example I saw this comment, "Rey Skywalker is her own character and her continuing story doesn’t have to revolve around Ben Solo. Daisy Ridley’s return shouldn’t be overshadowed by fan expectation over Adam Driver returning."
Yes, it does. This film needs to work. I cannot stress that enough. You know people want to see this film fail. Reylo isn't purely for sentimental reasons (I WOULD SEE MY DYAD REUNITED FOUR TIMES IN THEATRES) Reylo is the biggest marketing advantage Disney Star Wars has..... you knew that when Solo flopped. Do the smart thing, put these people on mute and give us a iconic fight fuck scene.
Tumblr media
Rey also wear clothes appropriate with her environment and match the physical needs of what she needs to accomplish like her male peers. Logical and refreshing. I hear the men mostly complain about the lack of hot women in their fantasy.
We could also talk about the sexism Carrie Fisher faced from the not only the studio, but the fandom for the crime of getting older and gaining weight. Her in a metal bikini is already in the spank bank - she contributed enough.
Tumblr media
Again, neither Carrie Fisher nor Daisy Ridley in a smart world could ever really own that. Anymore than the Rose Tico actress could. Worse, they could never really tell the Fanboys what they really think of them. I love me some Fanboys, I do, but they aren't a perfect group of people. They just criticism everyone's work like they are. We're suppose to ignore the giant dump they take on anything and everything that comes out. I genuinely think the people beyond The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy sought out to create a great story. To honor what came before. In many respect they did. They aren't George Lucas though.
There is legitimate criticism towards Disney for how it has handled the Star Wars franchise. Currently it can't exactly be be described as quality over quantity. The writers seem like they are writing for early 00s Disney Channel rather a complex space political fairytale. Characterization has not been wonderful. Again, it's not simple. While Disney has not steered the ship perfectly. I would argue there was an audience sitting in ill will and waiting to be disappointment.

for your ask me about WIP game
How did Obi-Wan and Cody meet in Deeper roots
And what are you most excited for readers to read in the great war? (You don't have to get to specific if you don't want to)
+ Anything else you'd like to share. Hope you have a great day!
Ask About My Fics Game
Ok, so in Deeper Roots Cody and Obi-Wan are actually high school sweethearts.
Cody was on the debate team, Obi-Wan was too busy working and taking care of his siblings to do any extracurriculars. One day Cody went to a diner, Dex's, to work on some debate stuff and Obi-Wan just happened to be his waiter---Obi-Wan offers some advice on it, he and Cody get to talking, and the rest is history!
----------
For The Great War, I'm honestly really excited for readers to get to two things.
First is when the clones and the Jedi finally start getting closer and becoming friends, especially when they start getting so protective over each other! It's gonna be so much fun to write and to see everyone's reactions to the stuff I have planned!
Second is actually near the end of the series, when the fact that Anakin is basically a Darksider gets more overt---because I'll keep littering more and more pointed descriptions, as well as other things to point to it.
And honestly I just can't wait for people to see all the work I've put into the series and the thought I've put into each of the characters, like I have a 20+ page document that's dedicated to my character analysis on Obi-Wan, Anakin, Cody, Dooku, Padme, Ahsoka, Ventress, Palpatine, etc. and then also analysis on stuff like Jedi culture, Naboo culture, anti-Jedi sentiment, clone culture, etc.
----------
As for anything else I want to share, I don't really have anything else. I just want to say that I appreciate you asking and I appreciate everyone that takes the time to read my fics, it really means a lot <3

k i'm gonna just put a pin in the whole "was jgy actually massacring multiple sects of 40+ people just for demonic cultivation date nights with xue yang" ('meat cute' anyone? ..I'll see myself out) or the "is wwx's capacity for gruesome violence inherently morally[1] inferior/superior to jgy's" disc horse for another time and move on
no one criticizing willfully bad faith takes about jin guangyao is trying to turn wei wuxian into the novel's villain when they bring up his actions in relation to what jin guangyao has done. no one is actually saying that jgy is not the principle antagonist in the novel. we can read. that is his role in the story, his goals and priorities end up in opposition to wwx's, and wwx is the protagonist. and, to my knowledge, there are no legit wen chao simps chomping at the bit to justify his eradication of the jiang sect at lotus pier. unless there are! in which case apologies to any wen chao simps who may read this post, your simping is valid. (also: bold choice. weird, but bold.)
what we are saying: the text intentionally sets up jgy and wwx as narrative parallels to each other. the text intentionally provides us with unreliable narrators as our lens through which we must view 95% of jgy's actions, first in the form of wwx (please don't @ me about his reliability, this man's spotty memory is meme-worthy, contentious legislation pass through parliament with more alacrity than his self-awareness wrt his relationship with lan wangji), then through wwx's interpretation of nmj's resentment-fuelled recollection of the past as a literal fierce corpse, then through sect leader yao formulating his extemporaneous[2] magnum opus of a condemnation narrative about jin rusong's death, after the witness testimony about jgy's marriage to qin su and super fucked up murder of his father. like, I hope it is understood why no one should be using testimony from sect leader yao as the foundation of their understanding for any character in this novel, period. /rattles the bars of my enclosure, do not trust sect leader yao!! he is the weathervane conservative mp, any time you end up in agreement with him should make you p a u s e and re-evaluate.
my point: mdzs is a fucked up little world filled with fucked up cultivation world politics and crimes and atrocities, and our most reliable window into this world is, unfortunately, wei "oh yeah I forgot about that plot detail" wuxian. more than that, his priority in the narrative is understandably not focused on solving the mystery (read: not a mystery) of why all of jgy's motivations, actions, and decisions are measured against a standard set so much higher than the one the rest of the cultivation world has to contend with (spoilers, it's classism). it's up to the reader to spot the context clues, often in the form of bits of overheard commentary provided by the common people in the background of some other major plot event that is unfolding, or in an aside by wwx himself where he reflects, "huh, maybe it's my own bias impacting my ability to read this situation clearly." I'm paraphrasing here but you get what I'm saying.
tl;dr the least interesting discussion we could possibly have about jgy and wwx is whether either of them are Good or Bad Guys Deep Down, particularly when evidence for either of these positions are provided by the novel's unreliable narrators and witnesses, but for some reason that's the discussion the jgy antis seem hellbent on having, and it's boring.
--
[1] I cannot stress to you how microscopic my interest is in some bible study-adjacent debate on morality in a danmei novel about necromancy, revenge killing, and the willful desecration of human remains. the extent to which I just do not give a fuck about this particular brand of disc horse is vast and limitless.
[2] inserts the padme amidala and anakin skywalker square meme here like we all understand that sect leader yao's statement about jin rusong's murder is based on speculation and not even circumstantial evidence, right? ...we understand that, right?

Warnings: gender-neutral reader, smoking, fluff. W/C: 1113

Tumblr media
A puff of smoke escapes your mouth as you draw the stick to your lips, inhaling the addictive smell of smoke as it enters your lungs. It had been a long day. The Senate was merciless, pushing for the funding of a million more clone troopers. The debate had droned on for hours, heated conversations with inadequate words flying left and right. You were wholeheartedly with Padme on this one, fighting alongside her while the Senate descended into a chaos even the chancellor couldn't even control. Finally, the debate ended with the majority voting for the production of more clones, leaving you utterly defeated.
Madness, it was all madness.
The smoke trailed through the air, dissipating moments later in the busy city of Coruscant. Your balcony provided a grand view only a few got to bear witness, and while you couldn't deny the beauty of the neon lights, speeders flying by, and the faint sound of music with the hint of rushing wind, it all made you feel incredibly alone— a planet full of billions, yet you were smoking alone on a Saturday night.
"I didn't realize you smoked." You didn't need to turn around to know who it was. His footsteps drew nearer before stopping next to you. His arms slid around your waist, folding themselves around your midsection as he laid his head on your shoulder.
"We've all got our releases Ani," you quipped, assisting the half-lit cigarette in your hands, tapping the bit of ash that accumulated in the wind.
"I heard what happened in the Senate."
"I'm sure you did. I would be surprised if you didn't." Exhale. The last thing you wanted to talk about with Anakin was what occurred. The people pushing their agendas made you sick to your stomach. Their unwillingness to aid other systems, their insistence on feeding the war, their closed ears to negotiations- Fuck. You were getting too worked up about this.
Anakin could sense your frustration rolling off of you in waves, and it unnerved him to see you so worked up. You always kept your emotions close to your chest no matter how much Anakin insisted you open up, and oh, how he wished you would open your heart to him. You had let him into your heart when you first declared your love for each other, and with each passing day, he delved deeper into the refuge of it, but now it felt as though you were trying to shut him out. He didn't let that discourage him as he pressed a kiss to your collarbone. You sighed, tilting your head back so he had unrestricted access. You felt Anakin's mouth curl into a smile as he removed his lips, only to press another kiss higher up. He left a trail of kisses up your neck, making sure to elicit a sigh or a shuddering breath each time he found a spot that spiked pleasure down your spine. His lips suckled the skin of your neck, his teeth scraping against it, drawing a whimper from your lips. Your cigarette was long forgotten in your hand as Anakin licked the tender spot to make up for the hickey he drew on your skin.
His hands remained steady while his lips did all the work, and when he finally reached your jawline, he stopped.
"I love you," he whispered on your skin, and all the uncertainty and perturbation you had amassed throughout the day dissolved like smoke in the air. Instead, you felt his strong back, calloused hands from years of labor, and the warmth of his breath against your skin, which sent goosebumps down your arms. You felt entirely at peace.
"I love you too," you breathed, and Anakin's hands squeezed your waist a tad tighter, pressing himself impossibly closer to you, caging you between the rail and him. You felt his eyes linger on the cigarette between your fingers, somehow not burned out yet.
"Do you wanna try?" You offer it to him, and a hand leaves your body, taking the cigarette from you. You twist your figure around so your chest faces him as he brings the stick to his lips. He inhales, and his face twists into a sour expression before he coughs, covering his mouth while you vainly try to suppress a girlish smile pulling tight at your cheeks.
He hands it back to you, and you take a hit, blowing the smoke high into the night sky. Anakin watches with fascination at your gracefulness. How could someone look so alluring? The arch of your neck, the pout of your lips, your eyes shut in bliss— Anakin stopped himself, gulping to suppress his desire and savor the moment of you beside him before you snuff the smoking stick out on the rail.
"That was awful. I don't think Obi-Wan would approve."
A smile breaks across your face at Anakin's response, and you erupt into a fit of laughter, resting your head on Anakin's chest while your body shakes with the force of your giggles. Anakin finds a smile tugging on the corners of his mouth at your jovial expression, something he would never miss seeing. He pulled you into his chest, spinning the both of you around. Your laughter grew in intensity, and Anakin found himself joining you.
It was just you and him, under the cover of the stars, free from every burden and responsibility, laughing with the promise of tomorrow as Anakin ushered you inside. He playfully placed an array of kisses over your face as you squealed, his hands finding the dip of your waist. Anakin tried to hold you still, but you were laughing, attempting to squirm your way out of his grip every time he placed yet another sloppy kiss. Finally, you ducked your head, but Anakin spun you around, plopping even more ecstatic kisses on each inch of your face. Although the action appeared light-hearted, he ensured each press of his lips was filled with every meaningful emotion he harbored for you, pouring every instance and feeling into his affection.
He bestowed a final peck on your lips, his teeth pulling on your bottom lip before letting it go with a wet pop.
"Beautiful," he whispered, and if it was possible, your love for him grew even more profound. "My beautiful."

Star Wars Rebels and Ezrabine
Since I'm an amateur writer making an uneducated guess, I'd like to discuss relationships in the Star Wars universe. It's probably one of the touchiest subjects in this community, right after the debate over which trilogy was better (prequel or sequel), whether Jar Jar Binks was necessary, or if the politics are actually garbage.
To be more specific, I want to delve into the relationship between Ezra and Sabine from Star Wars Rebels. You might know them as Ezrabine or Sabezra. They're one of the hottest topics in pairings, right up there with Rey and Ben/Kylo. While the latter pair is something I deeply disapprove of, I'm neutrally conflicted about Sabezra.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before I dissect the relationship itself, I'd like to touch on three points that people often criticize or discuss. Please bear with me; I'm a bit sleep-deprived.
Ages:
Quoting from Quora: "Han's official year of birth is 'ca. 32 BBY,' which means he's anywhere from ten to thirteen years older than Leia." This suggests that the most iconic couple in Star Wars had a notably significant age gap. "Padmé was born in 46 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin), and Anakin's miraculous Force-created birth came in 41 BBY, so Padmé is five years older than him." Yet another iconic couple, with a substantial age difference. Hera and Kanan are yet another example, with Hera being four years older.
Headcanons:
I understand that people want Sabine to be a lesbian, and I can empathize with that desire. As a queer Star Wars fan myself, I comprehend the need for characters with similar journeys and identities. However, while having headcanons, it's crucial to remember that they are personal interpretations. They don't become canon for everyone just because you envision them that way. You're free to explore your own headcanons, and if others agree, that's even better. But ultimately, headcanon remains just that—headcanon.
For instance, my personal headcanon includes Ahsoka being aroace, or at the very least, completely asexual bisexual. And I believe Luke Skywalker isn't straight at all. I mean, have you seen the boots he wore for his own execution? Come on!
Relationships in Star Wars:
When we examine relationships in the Star Wars universe, we discover a wide array. These range from parent-child relationships, sibling bonds, adopted families, found families, to romantic love in various forms, ages, and situations. Tragedy often follows these relationships:
Ashoka and Anakin: Master and Padawan, Brother and Sister, Tragedy.
Obi-Wan and Satine: Jedi and Senator, Lovers, Tragedy.
Padme and Anakin: Senator and Jedi, Tragedy.
Kanan and Hera: Jedi and Rebel, Tragedy.
Yoda and Dooku: Master and Padawan, Tragedy.
This list goes on endlessly, and it's filled with sorrow.
Most of the significant Star Wars relationships are fraught with tragedy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The relationship within the Ghost crew can be described as follows: "The crew of the Ghost in Star Wars Rebels has always been a family. They aren't related by blood, and they didn't come from the same homeworlds, but they are bound together by a common cause, respect, trust, and love." This is how Amy Richau described them in an article on StarWars.com.
From what I've gathered, the found family dynamic within the Ghost crew evolves with each member.
Take Kanan, for example. While Hera is his girlfriend and wife, Chopper is a quirky, psychopathic pet, and Sabine is like a surrogate daughter, Kanan's relationship with Ezra is that of a Padawan and Master to the highest degree. A master plays a role akin to that of a father but maintains the mentorship for training and respect, which involves clear emotions but also a deeper line.
Hera takes on the role of a self-proclaimed mom, offering kindness in the harsh times of rebellion. Zeb is mostly like the older brother who spotted you as a newbie at school and decided to lend a helping hand, providing support and having your back.
What I'm trying to convey is that while the Ghost crew is undoubtedly a family under any circumstances, the relationship between Ezra and Sabine doesn't fit the sibling mold, especially not from Season 3 onward. There's a reason I believe Ezra still has feelings for Sabine, at least until the Ahsoka Episode 4 standpoint.
From Season 3 onward, we witness Ezra's transformation. He matures, learns, and fully embraces his role as a future Jedi. He's no longer the kid the crew rescued on that planet, nor does he try to flirt with Sabine like some awkward neighbor kid. He's become an integral part of their close-knit community.
He and Sabine are equals, and he's no longer the young person Sabine takes under her wing in an older sisterly manner. They fight as rebels together, as comrades in the same community. Perhaps they sense a familial bond through the crew, but no dialogue from either of them implies a sibling relationship. They haven't been written with sibling energy, unlike the dynamic between Ahsoka and Anakin or Leia and Luke in the 6th movie.
In Season 3, there are moments that could have established them as siblings to emphasize the family connection. Take, for instance, when Ezra meets Sabine's family during the Mandalorian arc, and he talks to Sabine's brother for the first time. Instead of introducing himself as Sabine's brother, it comes off more like a boy meeting his Gfs family.
There might be counterarguments, as in Season 4's beginning when Ezra and the other Mandalorians rescue Sabine's father. Ezra doesn't claim to be family; he implies that he isn’t in a romantic relationship with Sabine. However, the fact that Ezra never alludes to a sibling relationship is intriguing. The end of Rebels, where it's just between Ezra and Sabine, further adds complexity to the situation, with how he decides to confide in him and him only.
There may have been something in the works discussed in the directing room, but then why is there a sudden shift to a sibling relationship in Ahsoka? It's hard to believe that after not allowing Ezra to introduce himself as Sabine's brother, they now suddenly introduce that element again. There are some theories out there that could explain why Sabine scoffs instead of reacting fondly when he says he's her brother. It's all quite frustrating.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
While there's undoubtedly a sense of familial connection within the Ghost crew, the relationship between Sabine and Ezra has taken on a different dimension. It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, as there are moments missing for that kind of build-up. Some scenes, the way they're animated, shot, or the dialogue they share, indicate a different dynamic.
But there's also no clear groundwork for a sibling relationship, and considering Star Wars' storytelling and penchant for twists, it wouldn't be surprising if it turned out to be a setup.
The divide within the fandom over the years has also made it challenging to establish this relationship. And keeping it ambiguous didn't help as we know how fandoms like to rip each other apart.
But in the end, it's a story. Let's stay calm, take a deep breath, and see how it unfolds. Let's keep the discussions civil and respect each other's viewpoints as we argue like pros!

Wishlist/Plot ideas for random characters under the cut. If you comment a muse or a few? I'll send you a DM about it. Some are vague. Some are more thought out. I'm going down my muse list so nothing is really separated but it is if you follow it while following my muse list.
Nesta: Not having a mate yet. I love them but also. It's just too clean. I want it messier. Thanks. OR Eris being her mate FUCKING FIGHT ME Elain/Lucien: Since I'm out here writing both, I want Lucien to ask Elain to just reject the mating bond so he can go on his own way without the confusion, guilt, and lingering what-if. Her having the internal debate about whether or not that is what she truly wants. Just all of the drama around that. Emerie/Mor: Literally those two. I write both so let's GO. Stannis: Winning the battle of blackwater before Tywin can deus ex machina his ass there (I love Tywin shhh) and becoming King of Westeros, only to deal with all of the repercussions of his journey there (enlisting the help of the Red God, killing Renly, being generally disliked, etc). Myrcella: Either staying in Dorne longer or not getting poisoned (yes this is show based only since the books vary in the Dorne storyline so) Robb: Being called to a battle in lieu of attending the Red Wedding and, thus, surviving it (though Catelyn and likely his wife attend and perish). Rick Flagg: More SS missions. Just general chaos with various DC villains. Harley/Ivy: I would kill for this ship I write both LETS FUCKING GO Rick/Harley: Same as above thank you. Given how you mentioned the Disney sequels in my last last question, I'm curious what you think of the sequel trilogy as a whole 4 years later. Also what you make of the rey movie that's suppose to happen?
It's funny timing. I've been watching the Lucas sextilogy and Star Wars meta on YouTube. Particularly, So Uncivilized is a fascinating meta analyst, and I rewatched this tonight:
youtube
As for my thoughts...
When I saw TFA opening night and noticed it rehashed everything and added nothing, I lost investment. By "lose investment," I don't mean I got bitter, unhappy, jaded, cynical, etc. I mean that I was in a fine mood, perfectly chill, had fun, but I no longer carried anticipation or expectations for future projects. I could tell this was not a good foundation and was an omen for future creative issues. Thus, when the second and third movies came out, I didn't feel disappointed, but their content meant I found increasing distance between myself, the characters, and the story. I didn't mind The Rise of Skywalker was bad. I got my recreation's use out of it. The direct relationship I had with it was the time I spent watching it once (1).
But even though I didn't agree with 90% of the trilogy's premises and executions, I made sure to see TLJ and Rise of Skywalker. After all, watching these movies was the door into some of the best media discussions I've had in my life.
I was invited to a winter party with about two dozen attendees. Most ended in the kitchen to debate TLJ, which had just released. We got so animated we had to do the old "pass the ball" trick, where only the person holding the ball could talk. It was one of the most in-depth, eye-opening, fascinating, multi-faceted, engaging media discussions I've had. Everyone had different but extraordinary insight to relay about subversions of expectations, underlying messages, contributions to the franchise, scene composition, editing, dialogue, characterization, symbolism, you name it.
When the final movie came out, conversations again were endlessly fruitful. No matter who I talked to, I could hear something new and enlightening about media through the lens of Rise of Skywalker.
There's nothing I hate about the movies. I don't think about them much. Star Wars to me is pre-Disney reboot. That's the territory my heart cares about. That's the territory that's Real. But I also have fun talking about Kylo Ren or Hux as any Star Wars nerd who likes those characters. I feel no bitter emotions, but positive ones, when anyone brings up TFA and thereafter.
My perspective, several years later, hasn't changed.
Now, I love how meta analysts have enhanced my perspective. I love people pointing out that the original and prequel trilogies introduced a huge number of ship and location designs, whereas the sequel trilogy... didn't. I love So Uncivilized's analysis that each movie in the sequel trilogy was a counter to a counter, until we ended up with a course correction of a course correction of a course correction of a course correction. Or, as he said, this sequel trilogy was intended to keep the franchise alive for another generation, but "to keep a creative work alive, you have to create things, and it's clear looking at this trilogy that nothing was built here."
Fans have endlessly talked about how there was no cohesion between movies in this trilogy and how its characterization and plot were a mess. How the movies were too reliant on old nostalgia. How showboating old characters prevented our new character trio from receiving agency and direction. I don't need to go there.
There's a reason we viewers remember the names of Kylo Ren and Rey and Poe and Finn. In their imperfect appearances, we saw characters that could have enlivened us to the same levels as Luke, Leia, Han, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme. I like Kylo Ren. I like Poe. I like Finn. They are appealing concepts.
But. But. I think the sequel trilogy, and Disney's over-saturation of materials, will fade over time, whereas the original six movies (I said original six, nyeh) WILL stand the test of time as classics. Just because VI-IX have "Episode" to their title doesn't mean they'll get saved from the endless mire Disney has manifested unto itself; nearly all live action materials from the 2010s and 2020s will end in late-Star Wars Disnified goop, to be lost in collective memory over time. That's not intended to be an insult; I just think that one is a short phenomenon that'll fade once contemporary sensations satiate, whereas the others are proven longevity.
There's bias in the sense I haven't watched anything outside of VI-IX and Rogue One. I've never seen The Mandalorian, or Andor, or Ahsoka, or anything else. I haven't felt the need to, so I won't. Heck, I didn't know about this alleged Rey movie thing - your comment is the first I've heard. So I have no perspective there except, "This isn't material I think needs to exist, and I'd rather go back to (and produce things like) the old." Disney's commercialized mania isn't a success to me. No ill feelings, just simple personal disinterest. It's not part of the imagination fuel I use when I fuel my imagination on Star Wars. And the sequel trilogy is something I frankly already forget about when I imagine the vast, captivating, thrilling world of Star Wars.
The legacy of the sequel trilogy isn't its story. Yet. There's real value in the sequel trilogy, and I believe it. It's perfect for analyzing media. It's a perfect medium for discussion. What went right, what didn't go right, what was compelling, what was disappointing, what was misguided, what lost focus, what never had focus, I will always find these movies valuable for that. And the thing is, I think we'll be talking about that for a while yet. Because it's fruitful. It's endlessly interesting.
Whether or not it's good media content in and of itself, it's GOOD CONVERSATION CONTENT.

Solus and Anakin for the alt ship ask! I'm curious about this level of fuckery.
WELCOME TO WHY OBI-WAN KENOBI DRINKS HARDER THAN EVER!!!
To start with they are absolutely a relationship capable of just happening in the Temple. Solus spends enough time in Just Enough Trouble that she gets various details as "punishment". Anakin is not at all any better. He may be worse because he's a self-admitted slow-learner and isn't exactly subtle. They've 100% had punishments together either working the radio transmissions or patrolling Coruscant.
She would help him cheat on his Padawan Homework. Absolutely no two ways about it because a.) She doesn't much care to be here and b.) It's not like she's not already ass deep in these history tomes anyway.
They have a general interest in flying and ships too. Also sparring because it's fun to tumble around against each other with various weapons.
Baby!Solus and Baby!Ani got to the Temple around the same-ish time. She went into Katarn Clan but he was taken as a padawan as Qui-Gon choose to exit the mortal coil. I refuse to believe Huttese isn't his first language and Basic came secondary. Meanwhile, Solus Ve'tra (now Solly Vetra) spoke almost exclusively Mando'a for the first five years of her life. So there's some Solidarity in that and both being Outer Rim Brats.
Solus discovering part of the Geonosis Buffoonery she's arriving for is because Anakin, Padme, and Obi-Wan checks out. This is now A Later Problem because hey there's Manda'lor Jango Fett (Coward and Traitor) and now there's his head on the ground. Anakin can take care of Anakin. She's got other shit to take care of.
Anakin has Interesting political views and well Solus thinks Death Watch is making sense so that's sure going to feed into each other. She's just far more Subtle in her approach because she's Total Politician. It also means she's Less Thrilled about Palpatine because Anakin talks about this like it's Totally Normal and she's just making WTF Faces. Also possibly debating if she could get away with this. Her ancestors stormed Coruscant and raided the Jedi Temple she can totally kill one dude anonymously.
You know what Family and Attachment Thing that Anakin has trouble with? Yeah, that's an Encouraged Mandalorian Trait so she's just out here like, "You know...we could just ditch the Temple and the Order and go live in the Mandalorian Sector? I'm technically a Countess on Krownest and it's all snow, no sand." Which would honestly do this child some good because play to your strengths. Also his engineering, flying, and fighting spirit are very appreciated and she absolutely brags about it. She wants him to feel good about himself.
"The Jedi aren't here to free slaves?"
Buddy you phrase it right and there's absolutely some Mandalorians itching for a fight and to tell the Jedi Order to go fuck itself. Look they just did it better. It's not at all something his tinier politician partner knows how to do. She's not good at rallying people at all. It's not like she's a born leader and trained at her grandfather, a man who served several Manda'lore as advisors, knee.
(Jai would vastly prefer Anakin to Pre. There's no question there.)
They're also kind of lean into each other's types. Anakin seems to enjoy shorter, cultured women who are excellent fighters and politicians. Solus, in her men, prefers Dumbass Blond in Armor (There's clearly other traits but like that will get her attention fast.) TCW!Anakin is hitting those requirements.
This is random but they both sky themes to their names. The tra in Ve'tra is straight up "star field".
Send me an OC + an alternate love interest for them and I’ll tell you what I think of the idea

I wouldn't call myself super new fan but I'm just recently more active on SW Tumblr, made this post just in case someone asking my opinion or want to debate me about Star Wars
Just here to ship Obikin, Obianidala, anidala, Obimaul and even Padme x Satine
I'm not gonna involve myself in the whole debate of star wars lore or whatever. If there's one god damn fandom that I'm not messing around with the discourse it's star wars, I can do it on Dragon Age, game of thrones or any other fandom but NOT THIS ONE.
There's one YouTuber called Swell Entertainment and she said "I'm not gonna review any star wars movie ever again because the fans often coming at me." I can feel her fear and dread even from another country
I don't give a damn about Jedi vs sith debate or anything. I'm just here for shipping tbh, if anyone ask my stance I'm like "I dunno man, dark side light side grey side. It's an energy? I don't care maaaan depends on how you use it. Whatever. Prequel Jedi order? Got flaws but can be improved, not irremediable faction ever.
Please don't involve me
The war that I involve myself so far are the mage + elves vs templar + chantry where I'm always be on mages + elves side FOREVER.
Also Divinity Original Sins 2 where I'm pro Source magic, also I'm pro magic, Zaun and pro mage in Arcane/League of Legends
The sith? At least Sith Lords or whatever that we know do a lot of bad stuff but... whatever i don't care. I don't care if you are simping for them or you have a more nuanced take about the sith, sure go for it. I'm cool.
Dark power/energy sexy tbh
But yeah Palpy fascist empire bad, I know that you don't have to accuse me as an 'apologist' just because i don't care about light vs dark
If I'm in star wars universe i just gonna hangout with alien strippers tbh the galaxy can implode for all I care and you guys will found me dead after snu snu-ing a hot Twi'lek
Tumblr media
This is coming from someone who's active in fandom lore and political discourse.
BUT I AIN'T MESSING AROUND WITH STAR WARS OH GOD NO. I'm here for shipping and art. Also don't ask my take about morality in star wars because i think for this universe I'm not the most reliable person for that.
I'm ruled by my obsessive shipping, horny-ness and crazy ass stories ideas.
I mean Dooku down bad with me? Sure. Obi wan? I'm going to kidnap this guy tied him in my basement and marry him. I'm obsessed
Anakin? Sure. Palpatine? He's not that bad looking. Padme? She's a sunshine and out of my league same thing with Satine. Simping for them. I'm not gonna refuse if Yoda down bad
I'm simply unhinged

@kanansdume There's no need to get all heated up about this. Apparently I can't reblog what you said but I really do not want to end on a sour note or on misinformation. Maybe they blocked me? Who knows.
You seem to have misunderstood my reason for my post. I know Anakin is not the best at everything. I was not arguing your post. I have no interest in debating that. I only pointed out your exaggerations which were not fair to canon.
I never blamed the Jedi for Anakin's choices either. Only that the family analogy was off since Anakin's dependence on Padme was the whole point of ROTS. If he considered the Jedi family, he would have not been so quick to kill them, especially innocent kids.
If you can be "hyperbolic" then I can make a joke about the jedi being the same (cookie cutter and lame).
You are doing the same thing you accuse me off. I made it clear that I was not arguing your pro-jedi argument. Just pointing out inaccuracies. People can take exaggerations as fact. I made the reblog because to me hyberbolic statements do matter. There is no need to insult my intelligence. It's honestly disrespectful. The only thing I did was provide correction based on canon. Take that for what you will. If you find I was wrong about something, please tell me.
There's no need to follow up because we have two different purposes for our post. I'm still fairly new to tumblr but I have seen that reblogs can go off on a tangent. Your post is still in tact as I have not really touched it.
Also, just to be clear (maybe I worded it wrongly?), the "you suck" lines was not about you. You criticized the length of my original post and I explained why it was long. Because I personally hate when people do not give much thought when they counter me and instead insult me.
There's too much stress in real life. Is it too much to have calm discourse in SW fandom?

State of the Union
The Galactic Senate meets to address their financial state now that the Clone Wars have finally ended.
Bail Organa
"I'm very eager to discuss our options to pay your debts." Senator Nix Card announces on the Senate floor. "Rest assured we will be most flexible."
"We meaning the banking clan." I say to Representative Binks next to me. Now that the Separatists have officially surrendered, all anyone wants to do is discuss finances.
Chancellor Taa asks, "Well what specifically did you have in mind?" As if he doesn't already know. I'm sure Taa has already agreed to it, and collected his fee. All that remains now is to sell it to the Senate.
"Believe me friends, nobody wants to see the Republic bankrupt." Card says.
"Deregulation of the banks was a grave mistake." I say to Jar-Jar. The amount of debt we managed to accumulate in the tail end of the war is obscene.
"Weesa in deep doo-doo." Jar-Jar says. I've always found him rather insightful.
"I am pleased to announce the Banking Clan's latest initiative." Card continues. "We wish to get involved with the reconstruction effort for the rebuilding communities across the galaxy."
"Could you please enlighten us what it means for you to get involved?" I ask to the floor.
"It's simple really." Card responds. "In these times of uncertainty across the galaxy, people need a localized governing force. A force the Banking Clan is looking to oversee and develop. If our legislation could come to pass, I am certain we could restructure the Republic's interest rates." Oh the interest rate is drowning us. For a fleeting moment I'm almost willing to hear him out.
"Am I supposed to believe you would be remotely concerned for the well-being of these people being governed?" I ask.
"That's enough Organa." Taa says. Incredible. Not only does he do nothing himself, but he makes it more difficult for the people around him to do anything as well.
"I will not be intimidated off the stand!" I exclaim. "If we aren't willing to talk about the people at risk, then what on Earth are we debating?" Taa has nothing to say to that. He's such an idiot. Dangerous as Palpatine was, I almost prefer his tenure.
"Bail rest assured I hear your concerns." Card says. "And believe me the responsibility to serve the people is one the Banking Clan does not take lightly." What a load of fodder. But what more can I say? Thankfully Mon Mothma jumps to my aid.
"I, for one find that notion laughable." She says. "People this is not the way! We made mistakes in the Clone Wars, but as we move forward, we must push out of this shadow of corruption we've fallen into! If we allow the Banking Clan to occupy Star Systems, then we are truly lost." Mon is truly an unstoppable force. Even with Padme in a coma, she's just as ferocious on the floor. I on the other hand feel I've lost my edge.
"Thank you, Mon Mothma." Taa says. "She is right. We cannot allow this."
"Chancellor please if you would only listen, you would realize the sincerity of our words." Card interjects. "In the massive power vacuum across the galaxy, the people are suffering. If we could just be allowed to help them."
"Keep in mind these are Confederate systems." Senator Ask Aak says. "They can't be left unsupervised. They may just go and start up a rebellion!"
"Oh no, let me quell your fears Senator." Card says. "No rebellions will be springing up in areas that are supported by our resources."
"How much of the Confederacy are you looking to help?" Chancellor Taa asks.
"Well all of it of course," Card continues, "but unfortunately we can only do so much, so we wish to focus our effort on the Inner Rim Confederate planets."
I interject, "First of all those aren't Confederate planets, those are Republic planets. We fought a whole war to keep the Republic alliance unified, and then we would so easily sell them to the Banking Clan?"
"Please Senator you are demonizing us." Card says. "We only wish to aid in rebuilding these Republic communities, as they struggle to recover from the terrors of war, and my friends from the Techno Union and Corporate Alliance also wish to reach out to the people."
"That's correct Senator Card." Senator Gume Saam of the Techno Union says. "We can focus our relief to the Middle Rim, while the Corporate Alliance can provide the Outer Rim with the help they have desperately needed since before the war." I'm surprised the Corporate Alliance even wants the Outer Rim. It can't be controlled, we just loosely claim ownership over them, and mostly leave them alone. But more importantly...
"Why is the Corporate Alliance involved in this deal?" I ask. "They were clearly aligned with the Separatists for the entire war!"
Senator Card retaliates, "Senator please the Corporate Alliance was deceived by evil the same as everyone else. They were just as blinded by Count Dooku as we were by Chancellor Palpatine. As we move forward, we must unify and forgive our past transgressions, and assist our neighbors in these times of growing uncertainty."
"You speak of unity, but remind me again why none of the Confederate systems have been allowed representation in the Republic Senate?" Mon Mothma asks.
"Please Senator Mothma that has nothing to do with the matter at hand." Chancellor Taa says.
"I beg to differ." Senator Mothma retaliates. "If there is to be a vote on the occupation of the Confederate systems, then the Confederacy should be allowed to vote on it." A reasonable request by any metric, but I fear she speaks upon deaf ears.
"Senator please this is no occupation." Gume Saam says. "At its core it is a relief aid initiative. Our focus is on healing these worlds, and we absolutely want them to be represented in the Senate, but should the people continue to suffer while we argue over policies?"
Mon Mothma says, "You really think you can sell me on the idea that you care about the people? Take your blatant lies and-"
"That's enough deliberation for the moment." Chancellor Taa says. Mon gives him a look of violent fury. "Let us reconvene tomorrow."
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
"Unbelievable this new era of corruption." Mon Mothma says to myself and Representative Binks after the meeting. It's incredible what they've already gotten away with. Both the Techno Union and the Corporate Alliance financially backed the Separatist's war machine, and both should've gone into crippling debt as a result. However, the oh too convenient timing of both Nute Gunray and Lott Dod's death left the Trade Federation completely vulnerable. When the blame game got played during surrender talks, everyone pointed to the Trade Federation, who also conveniently enough owned the lion share of the Separatist debt. The Trade Federation goes under, the Neimoidians are condemned as warmongers, and everyone else comes out richer. The only people paying their war tab is the Republic.
"The Corporations can propose whatever they want on the floor, that doesn't mean it will pass." I say. "Who are our allies Mon?"
She scoffs. "When did it become so rare to be a Senator who wants to do the right thing?"
"Meesa will be opposin' the relief bill." Jar-Jar says.
"It's not a relief effort!" Mon exclaims.
"Mon please, Jar-Jar is on our side." I say. She's a fantastic voice on the Senate floor, but Mon can be bad with people more directly. That was always Padme's specialty.
"Yes of course. My apologies Representative Binks." Mon says. "Oh how I wish Padme were here. She was always so good at pulling allies out of thin air, and altering votes."
"Yes it has been hard without her." I say. "But we must strike this legislation down. It's what she would want."
"Indeed." Mon says. "So let's get to work."
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
"Surely you can see the danger of complying with the corporations, Meena." Mon says to Meena Tills, the Senator for Mon Cala.
"Obviously I don't like it, but you haven't addressed the elephant in the room." Meena says.
"That elephant being?" I ask.
"How are we going to pay our outstanding debts?" Meena asks. "As little as I want to entertain the Banking Clan's proposal, I quite simply don't see any other options. Our financial irresponsibility has left us drowning, and if we don't negotiate with the corporations, we will have to file for bankruptcy."
"Yes we would." Mon says. "Believe me bankruptcy would be a far superior option compared to corporate occupation."
"Maybe. Maybe not." Meena says. "But if we refuse corporate aid, then we will be broke, and people across the galaxy will suffer while the war profiteers sit on their fortunes."
"So you really believe the people will be better off if this bill passes?" I ask.
"I do." Meena says. "If we refuse this aid, then where will help come from? We certainly don't have the means to help anyone at the moment."
"Are you really so blind Meena?" Mon asks. "The corporations have no desire to help anyone, and what happens when the Corporate Alliance comes knocking on Mon Cala?"
"Maybe you're the one who's blind." Meena responds cooly. "In your desire to be against this legislation, you refuse to acknowledge the wealth of positive outcomes from supporting it. And Mon Cala never defected from the Republic. The Corporate Alliance won't interfere with us."
Mon scoffs. "We'll see about that."
Author's Note
I really like this one. I don't know if politics is interesting to read about, but I think the political landscape of the galaxy is critical to my AU. So have patience my nonexistent readers. It's all coming together.

Right now I'm re-figuring which Clone Wars characters will replace the Arcana characters for my CodyWan Arcana!AU and I need y'all to tell me if it makes sense or not or if you think they'd fit better as other characters.
(keep in mind, all character dialogue/interactions are gonna be edited so that they're in-line with their actual characterization--and Cody is going to be the only love interest)
Edit: To clarify, since I just realized this wasn't obvious, there will be no romantic inter-character relationships other than Cody/Obi-Wan and a past Padme/Anakin--all of the other character relationships will be edited to be either familial or platonic
----------
Obi-Wan is obviously gonna be the "Apprentice"
Cody is going to take the place of Asra for Maximum Angst™️
I have no idea who's gonna take the place of Faust
Anakin was originally gonna be Julian, but now I think he makes more sense as Lucio--since Palpatine is gonna take place of the Devil
R2-D2 and C-3PO are gonna take the place of Mercedes and Melchior
Padme is gonna take the place of Nadia
Ahsoka is going to be Portia
At the moment, I'm thinking that Rex is going to take the place of Julian (but a less dramatic and drunk) since he and Ahsoka give off sibling energy--BUT I'm not completely sure about this decision and I'm open to suggestions
Wolffe is gonna take the place of Muriel, I have no real justification for this except for Vibes--so this is also up for debate
The Jedi Council are going to take place of the Arcana (other than Palpatine, who we've already established as the Devil) and the Darksiders are gonna take place of Nadia's advisors
----------
So, what do y'all think?

Vader being uncharacteristically dark/cruel to the clones (they're his family, even if he Fell)
Ships
Note: This includes a combination of prompts and (primarily) ship-specific likes.
Anakin | Vader Ships:
Anakin/Cody
Top Cody, Bottom Anakin, Alpha Cody (if in A/B/O universe), Dom!Cody, Sub!Anakin, Cody topping from the bottom, Padawan Anakin
Cody respecting Anakin (not a fan of the idea that he'd hate Anakin) - like, they’re practically equals in rank, and I like Cody sort of treating Anakin like he would a shiny and being protective of him even if Anakin is technically older than him while Anakin just wants Cody to like him.
Maybe Anakin is trying to seduce Cody and ends up biting off waaaay more than he can chew
Anakin/Cody/Fives
Top Cody, Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin, Alpha Cody (if in A/B/O universe), Dom!Cody, Sub!Anakin, Sub!Fives, Fives is definitely a brat while Anakin tries to be good, Cody topping from the bottom, Top/Bottom Fives, Fives is chaos personified
Maybe Cody is trying to wrangle Fives into being a good boy because of how rebellious/independent he is, and Anakin gets dragged into the mix.
Anakin and Fives switch for each other.
Anakin/Cody/Rex
Top Cody, Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin, Top/Bottom Rex, Cody topping from the bottom, Alpha Cody (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe) (I’m a little fascinated by the idea of Omega!Rex being a dom in Anakin’s direction lol), Dom!Cody, Sub!Anakin, Switch!Rex
Maybe Cody got tired of Anakin and Rex making eyes at each other while being completely oblivious to how the other feels and decides to get involved.
Anakin/Crosshair, Anakin/Hunter, Anakin/Crosshair/Hunter, Anakin/Crosshair/Hunter/Rex
Top/Bottom Anakin, Top/Bottom Crosshair, Top/Bottom Hunter, Alpha Crosshair (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha (or Omega) Hunter (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha Crosshair/Hunter is an amazing concept to me.
Anakin would get on with them very well because he’s always felt like an outsider among the Jedi the way the Batch have to the clones, so they’d really Get each other. Anakin and Hunter have a lot in common, so their friendship and mutual protectiveness of each other would be a really fun thing to explore. Crosshair is just a brat. And annoying because he wants to be. But he likes making Hunter submit to him (though there’s gonna be a fight first lol) and he likes getting Anakin’s attention. Anakin likes feeling accepted by them, and he’s open to pretty much anything they want.
If Rex is there: Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Dom!Rex, Service Top Anakin, Service Top Hunter, Service Top Crosshair, Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe), Sub!Anakin, Sub!Crosshair, Sub!Hunter
I can’t imagine any dom/sub things happening if Rex isn’t a part of the dynamic since none of the other three have the right personality to be a dom to the others. But Rex knows all the right buttons to push to make Hunter and Crosshair submit to him. Maybe Anakin is being a good boy just to show the other two how it’s done, even if his normal dynamic with Rex is a little different.
Anakin/Echo
Top/Bottom Anakin, Top/Bottom Echo
Maybe they get together after Echo is rescued, bonding over their grief for Fives and over being part-machine. Echo’s very rule-abiding, and Anakin also prefers following the rules, even if he’ll bend them a little sometimes.
Anakin/Echo/Rex
Top/Bottom Anakin, Top/Bottom Echo, Top/Bottom Rex, Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe), Rex topping from the bottom, Dom!Rex, Sub!Anakin, Switch!Echo
Maybe it starts with Rex/Echo, and they invite Anakin in because Rex is teaching Echo how to be a dom, and Anakin is There. Or maybe it starts with Anakin/Rex, and they invite Echo to join because he’s Interested.
Anakin/Echo/Fives/Rex
Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Dom!Rex, Sub!Anakin, Switch!Echo, Sub!Fives, Top/Bottom Echo, Top/Bottom Fives, Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin, Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha Fives (if in A/B/O universe), Fives is a brat
Fives is pure chaos, and he and Anakin like switching for each other.
Maybe Rex is trying to tame the Dominoes and reign in their chaos and somehow sex comes into the picture. Maybe Anakin’s involvement was an accident. Maybe Anakin and Rex preplanned it all out together. Maybe there’s an unspoken GAR tradition involving new ARC troopers and their commanding officers and sex (don’t ask what that means lol I have no idea).
Anakin/Fives
Switch!Anakin, Switch!Fives, no dom/sub with them
Fives is pure chaos, and he and Anakin like switching for each other. They’re just insane and chaotic together, and they enjoy fooling around more than engaging in power plays.
Anakin/Fives/Rex
Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Dom!Rex, Sub!Anakin, Sub!Fives, Top/Bottom Fives, Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin, Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha Fives (if in A/B/O universe), Fives is a brat and he and Anakin like switching for each other
Maybe Anakin and Fives team up to seduce Rex and get more than they can handle. Maybe Rex decides to reign in the combined chaos of Anakin and Fives by becoming their dom. Maybe the three of them are grieving Echo together and one thing leads to another.
Anakin/Jesse, Anakin/Kix, Anakin/Jesse/Kix
Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin, Top/Bottom Jesse, Top/Bottom Kix, Dom!Kix, Sub!Anakin, Sub!Jesse
Maybe Kix gets tired of Anakin getting hurt all the time and decides to teach him to take care of himself better. Maybe Kix and Jesse (or just Jesse) do a team-up to see if they can seduce Anakin.
Anakin/Rex
Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin, Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe) (I’m a little fascinated by the idea of Omega!Rex being a dom in Anakin’s direction lol), Sub!Anakin, Dom!Rex (I wouldn’t mind if their roles got a bit reversed and Anakin is leading an inexperienced Rex and helping him find his confidence in sexual things, or if Rex has guided Anakin to being more assertive of himself and a dom, and is letting Anakin take the lead.)
There’s soooo many ways they could get together. It could be anything. (Just look at my general likes list for ideas. :) I really like the idea of Rex having sort of hero worshipped Anakin at the beginning until he got to know him better and become comfortable with being a dom toward him.
I love when Rex and Anakin are being Ahsoka’s dads, but it doesn’t need to be a major aspect of the story, or even appear at all. :)
Anakin/501st Legion
Bottom Anakin, Service Top Anakin
Anakin will do anything for his boys, no matter what or how insane. Maybe a sex pollen got involved, and Anakin is trying to help his boys get through it (or vice versa).
Vader/Cody
Top Cody, Bottom Vader, Alpha Cody (if in A/B/O universe), Dom!Cody & Sub!Vader, Cody topping from the bottom, Emperor!Cody, Attack-dog!Vader
Cody respecting/empathizing with Vader. He can understand being controlled/manipulated by Sidious, since he executed Order 66, too. (I like Cody sort of having treated Anakin like he would a shiny and being protective of him even if Anakin is technically older than him while Anakin just wants Cody to like him.)
Vader killing Sidious and handing the Empire over to Cody is just hilarious to me. Vader doesn’t know how to be free. If Cody was even just tolerant of him and not affectionate toward him, Vader would still follow him gratefully because he’s not being tortured. He has a very low bar for what constitutes a good master and Cody would just. Be horrified.
Throne sex??? Lol.
Navigating a relationship where Vader is a cyborg would be interesting, especially since it’d make intimacy very complicated.
Cody being protective of Vader. Please. Vader’s been through so much, and even if Cody wouldn’t be happy that Vader helped destroy the Jedi, he’d be even more angry at Obi-Wan for hurting Vader like he did. Cody helping a traumatized Vader heal would be incredible. <3
Vader/Cody/Rex
Top Cody, Bottom Vader, Service Top Vader, Top/Bottom Rex, Cody topping from the bottom, Alpha Cody (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe) (I’m a little fascinated by the idea of Omega!Rex being a dom in Anakin’s direction lol), Dom!Cody, Sub!Vader, Switch!Rex, Emperor!Cody, Attack-dog!Vader
Cody would be the Emperor out of him and Rex. Vader would serve them because he doesn’t know how to be free.
Or maybe Cody and Rex teamed up to redeem Vader and ended up seducing him along the way, trying to teach how to be free and help him heal. Maybe they actually kidnap Vader from Sidious to help him. Maybe it’s an Imperial!AU where both of them are still with the Empire and somehow, Things Happen.
Maybe it’s a universe where the Empire formed early, and this is the first time they’re meeting Vader, and Cody immediately decides that he Wants Him and ropes Rex into helping him seduce their unfairly beautiful commanding officer.
Vader/Rex
Bottom Vader, Service Top Vader, Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Alpha/Omega Rex (if in A/B/O universe) (I’m a little fascinated by the idea of Omega!Rex being a dom in Vader’s direction lol), Sub!Vader, Dom!Rex, Emperor!Rex, Attack-dog!Vader
Rex doesn’t want to be Emperor, but he got that role anyway.
Or maybe Rex tracks down his General and realizes he’s alive and decides to bring him back to the Light no matter what. Seducing him wasn’t originally part of the plan but it is now, so he’ll just go with it. And Vader likes it when Rex takes charge, since he doesn’t understand how to be free anymore. He’ll take anyone as a master if they’re even a tiny bit nice to him. Rex just. Doesn’t know what to do with his traumatized ex-general, and he wants to help him and heal him and make him better.
Navigating intimacy with Vader as a cyborg who struggles with it because of his condition and many traumas would be amazing.
Rebel!Vader? Maybe Vader is a Fulcrum agent and he and Rex meet accidentally during Rebels or something, and then realize who the other is and Things Happen.
Or maybe it’s an AU where Anakin was never a Jedi, and it’s an enemies-to-lovers type thing. Either way, Rex gets to fuck him back to the Light. <3
Bad Batch ships:
Anakin/Crosshair, Anakin/Hunter, Anakin/Crosshair/Hunter, Anakin/Crosshair/Hunter/Rex
See above
Crosshair/Hunter
Top/Bottom Hunter (I usually lean toward bottom), Top/Bottom Crosshair (I usually lean toward top, but either is fine), Alpha Crosshair (if in A/B/O universe), Alpha (or Omega) Hunter (if in A/B/O universe), no dom/sub with them (they don’t have the personalities for it, not with just each other)
There are so, so many ways they could end up together, and I’m fine with anything. Look at my general likes list for more ideas. I especially adore fix-its and soft content with them, especially if there’s lots of playful bickering. (I need therapy for canon, okay?)
I am fascinated by how things would go if they’re both alphas.
Hunter might be the leader, but Crosshair likes pushing him to get him to react and to make him submit to him (though there’ll be a fight first before Hunter would give in). Hunter… despite whatever he claims to himself, likes it, because he likes feeling protected and like he doesn’t need to always be in charge. Leading is haaaard, and Crosshair helps him let go.
Maybe they’re both exploring sex for the first time. Maybe they’re tiptoeing around a relationship during the war before it Happens. Maybe they’re trying to rebuild something after getting separated. Anything is fine.
(I’m not fond of the idea that Crosshair would be angry at Hunter for the Batch leaving once his chip wears off/is removed. I like to think he’s more mature than that and actually understands why they did what they did; he literally shot Wrecker. He’s gonna be dealing with a lot of guilt for hurting them.)
(Note: If time travel is involved, I’m fine with a pairing like Hunter/Crosshair/Hunter/Crosshair or some variation thereof.)
Crosshair/Echo/Hunter, Crosshair/Rex/Hunter, Crosshair/Fives/Hunter
See above for the Crosshair/Hunter dynamic
With Echo: Top/Bottom Echo, Dom!Echo, Sub!Hunter, Sub!Crosshair
Maybe Hunter and Crosshair team up to seduce their newest team member to help him relax and fit in with them.
With Fives: Switch!Fives, he’s a chaotic brat and he fits right in with the Batch’s brand of chaos
Maybe it’s a universe where he doesn’t die, and they encounter each other after Echo joins or after the Empire forms. Maybe he joins the Batch with Echo. Maybe they just happen to run into one another on a mission and Things Happen, because Fives loves them and their chaos, and they hit off very well. I just want to see what it would be like to have Fives with them. Lol.
With Rex: Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Dom!Rex, Sub!Hunter, Sub!Crosshair
Rex has a lot of experience with wrangling his brothers, and making Hunter and Crosshair behave is easy. Maybe they try to seduce him, playfully as a joke or otherwise, and Rex turns it around on them and makes them Want Things they never thought they would. He’s very good at making them behave, even with their own natural tendency towards being brats and disobeying.
Note: I am fine with these ships being combined. Crosshair/Echo/Fives/Hunter, Crosshair/Echo/Hunter/Rex, Crosshair/Fives/Hunter/Rex, and Crosshair/Echo/Fives/Hunter/Rex are all fine.
Note 2: Adding Anakin to any of these combinations is fine, too.
Crosshair/Hunter/Tech/Wrecker
See above for more on the Crosshair/Hunter dynamic
Top/Bottom Crosshair, Top/Bottom Hunter, Top/Bottom Tech, Top/Bottom Wrecker, Dom!Tech (if they have one), Sub!Crosshair, Sub!Hunter, Sub!Wrecker
Anything with the polybatch will be amazing. See my general likes list for more ideas.
Maybe they’re just exploring sex for the first time with each other. Maybe there’s hurt/comfort and a little whump after a mission gone wrong. I adore how much younger and freer and more chaotic they all were before Order 66. Lol.
(A background Crosshair/Hunter romance is always a fun bonus for me. <3)
Crosshair/Echo/Hunter/Tech/Wrecker
See above for more on the Crosshair/Hunter dynamic
Top/Bottom Crosshair, Top/Bottom Echo, Top/Bottom Hunter, Top/Bottom Tech, Top/Bottom Wrecker, Dom!Tech, Dom!Echo, Sub!Crosshair, Sub!Hunter, Sub!Wrecker
Honestly, it could be anything. Look at my general likes list for more ideas. It doesn’t need to focus on all of them, but I’d prefer if Hunter and Crosshair, at least, were around as more than minor characters.
Maybe the Batch are trying to help Echo get used to them. Or maybe Echo is introducing sex to the Batch for the first time. Or maybe they’re reuniting after being separated by the Empire.
(A background Crosshair/Hunter romance is always a fun bonus for me. <3)
Crosshair/Echo/Hunter/Rex/Tech/Wrecker
See above for more on the Crosshair/Hunter dynamic
Top/Bottom Crosshair, Top/Bottom Echo, Top/Bottom Hunter, Top/Bottom Tech, Top/Bottom Wrecker, Top Rex, Rex topping from the bottom, Dom!Rex, Switch!Tech, Switch!Echo, Sub!Crosshair, Sub!Hunter, Sub!Wrecker
It doesn’t need to focus on all of them if that’s too hard, but I’d like if Hunter and Crosshair, at least, were around as more than background characters.
Rex domming the Batch is an amazing concept to me. I love him like that, and seeing how fast and easily he can bring them under his control would be incredible. Maybe he’s trying to make them behave and reign in their chaos and maybe make them more mature, too. Rex disciplining them (the brats especially) is awesome.
(A background Crosshair/Hunter romance is always a fun bonus for me. <3)

I keep thinking about your "Padme is a mommy domme" post and I'm coming by to collect on the rent it owes me for brain space. (AKA: if you have any more comedic takes on Anidala's sex life, I would love to hear them)
okay this is all going underneath the cut so as to avoid making people look at my admittedly Very Silly opinions unless they really, really want to
So intially I wrote out a response with my usual spiel about Anakin needing to get orders to feel safe but only feeling fine about taking orders if the person giving them is firmly in the role of Family (who will of course never exploit him etc etc) BUT then I realized you asked for comedic, so have some. well. I don't dare call them comedic, but they're sure something.
First off, Padmé really likes teacher-student roleplay. This is because she (a) has never been in a normal person school and does not realize that classrooms are actually gross and disgusting, and (b) likes being In A Position of Authority that doesn't actually put her in a position of actual authority (see: life or death).
Second, Padmé gets extremely into roleplay. She is rich. She has an extreme interest in sartorial affairs. She is a nightmare person made almost entirely of delusions and ideals. This results in her not only buying both of them outfits for Every Single Roleplay, but constructing elaborate sets in their sex room (not a dungeon, because I'm pretty sure dungeons can't have floor-to-ceiling one-way windows, designer couches, and wallpaper that costs what some people make in a year). It also means she has a specially dedicated journal for their roleplay characters, and spends extremely boring Senate debates doodling new costumes and/or thinking of backstories to make Anakin memorize.
Third—and this one really has no basis, even compared to the first two, which honestly I'm kind of proud of—Padmé dreams of watching Anakin getting fucked by a tentacle plant. or tentacle monster. just tentacles, really. she seems like she'd be into that. (tbf, she seems like she'd be into anything that puts Anakin entirely at her mercy and then makes him go out of his mind. but tentacles especially).
there's also a whole thing i could add about a private sex moon, but I think I have to maintain some dignity, so I'll decline to say more about that.

Has "Dear Theodosia" been suggested for Pop Star AU yet? Like, specifically about the twins. I have a lot of feelings about Obi-Wan being The First Person To Ever Hold Them.
tostngds9voyentdis asked:
I have 3 questions regarding your Pop Star Wars AU. Firstly, is the identity of who plays the instuments for BK a mystery as well? Secondly, would Obi-Wan do 'Do you hear the people sing?' as part of his anti-slavery campaign? Finally, do you think Obi-Wan would have done something like 'Dear Theodosia', as the message there would apply to many children Obi-Wan knows (Anakin, the clones, Jedi Initiates, even Luke and Leia to some extent)?
1) The first instrumentalists for The Song he scoops up from some dive bars, their identities are public. After that it’s pretty much just him and Anakin, and Anakin’s identity is secret. Not including special guest stars. 2) Do you hear the people sing's gotta get written at some point 3) yes
shadowaccio6181 asked:
Songs that probably started directed at Anakin (and may have turned slightly romantic - It’s Not Over, Not Strong Enough - Apocalypta, Love Me Like You Do - Ellie Goulding, All I Ask Of You (Phantom of the Opera)… you know, it would be hilarious if he wrote some of the songs for Phantom of the Opera with Anakin as Erik and him as Raoul and Padme as Christine, based on the book? (He took one look at a pitiful scary disfigured person in a mask and a well-dressed ponce and projected his issues.)
Many of the angsty anakin songs are attributed to a horrible breakup that must have happened but WHEN?? Did you date a darksider?? I CAN SEE YOU TRYING TO ESCAPE OUT THAT WINDOW OBI-WAN GET BACK HERE—
shadowaccio6181 asked:
Pop AU - “It’s Not Over” by Daughtry, as another one of the songs that was probably written regarding Anakin. ("You've taken away everything / This love is killing me") This one ALSO fits really well with time-travel ("Can we make this something good? / Let's start over / I'll try to do it right this time around / It's not over/ There's a part of me that's dead and in the ground")
shadowaccio6181 asked:
I'm kinda sorry for barraging you with all of these Pop AU asks, but ABSOLUTELY take your time. Just... here's another Anakin-directed one that probably got rewritten as romantic later: "Don't Let Me Down" - The Chainsmokers.
Anonymous asked:
Beautiful Disaster by Kelly Clarkson for the pop au. I know it’s technically about romantic love but I can totally see it about obiwan and Anakin. Especially in an ‘obiwan traveled to the past and is debating if loving anakin is worth it’ sense.
