Ngl with HW2 out I'm kinda anxious for how the DCA fandom gonna go from here cause like. 🐻 Alfie is very in tune with your emotions and he can tell when you're worried or feeling down. So he knows that something is getting to you before you admit it to him

🐻 You have been trying to hide your issues too because you're aware that it's just a bad choice to be romantically involved with a dangerous gangster when you are quite so scared of being abandoned or left behind like you are.

🐻 Your way of trying to deal with these issues is to kid yourself that you don't have them, that everythings fine, that you'd be completely fine if anything were to happen to Alfie or if he just decided he wasn't interested in you anymore. So whenever Alfie does try to ask whats wrong you would just shut him out and dismiss him

🐻 And when it does come time for him to go away on business, when his life is potentially at risk, you would try to pretend you weren't bothered... Which would hurt Alfie, because he'd think you don't care about him...

🐻 And then he'd try to pretend like he didn't care...

🐻 And things would potentially get pretty messy, you both pretending not to care about the situation, both of you trying to ignore the very near future...

🐻 He'd end up going ahead with this meeting or plan and you'd spend the whole time he was away going crazy, biting your nails, pacing and being restless, convincing yourself he's died, driving yourself crazy and drinking to get through the anxiety...

🐻 So that when he returns he finds you a complete mess, sitting on the kitchen floor with a bottle in your hand, you havent slept, you were drunk but you've cried yourself sober and you feel completely broken down

🐻 Alfie would be heart broken to see you looking so forlorn but he'd do his best not to show you that, smiling sympathetically instead, sitting on the stool at the table and leaning down to reach for the bottle in your hand.

🐻 "hmmm yeah right, i see the problem here ziskeit, yeah i see the probpem.. This you're drinking right here, this is Shelby Gin right and although it claims to be "distilled for the eradication of a seemingly incurable sadness" it just don't do what it says on the label yeah... In fact poppet, I'd go as far as to say that it actually makes you feel much much worse..."

🐻 You'd have been in a state of shock when he first came in, not really believing him to be there at all, but maybe at the sound of his voice youd have looked up at him, realised it really was him and instead of looking so sad and broken a little smile would come onto your face and when he smiled, your smile would grow bigger and brighter.

🐻 "Youre not dead," youd smile seeming to forget the misery of your solitude. Alfie would laugh at you a little confused and he'd shake his head. "Last time I checked ziskeit..."

🐻 He'd beckon you up to come and sit with him and hold you snug to his side then he'd want to know why you were so miserable.

🐻 And when you told him about everything he'd not say a word, just hold onto you very very tightly, he'd tuck your head into the crook of his neck and kiss your hair. He would probably hold onto you like that quietly for quite a long time. It would be the cosiest and most comforting of hugs, you'd feel small and snug and so secure held tightly in his big arms as he held onto you for dear life.

🐻 He would probably be a little concerned/upset that you hadn't told him sooner, and he'd want to be careful about understanding you completely.

🐻 But once he did he'd be so reassuring and loving to you hugging you tight in his big arms, he wouldnt shut up about how much he loves you and how its his job to look after you and never ever leave you.

🐻 He would defintely make the promise he knows he can't keep but he'd also tell you he knows he shouldn't make it because he can't really keep it... "now i know its irresponsible to make promises you know you can't necessarily definitely 100% keep however, right now poppet i think its what you need to hear and its what i want to say and i reckon thats as good a reason as any to break my rules yeah? What do you think?"

🐻"now i dont often ask you to torture your old man reminding him that there have been other men in your life but... I what i wanna know right... I kind of feel like acts of service are his love language and like just looking after you and providing for you and spoiling you are how he'd want to show you how he values you.

Arthur

🍂 Arthur definitely has abandonment issues of his own and therefore your relationahip would be intense, perhaps volatile to begin with, before you understand one another completely.

🍂 Once you work out you're both just scared of the same things you'd stop fighting or getting paranoid about one another and you'd come together stronger than ever before.

🍂 You would stick to one another like glue, completely devoted to eachother. Arthur would view you as his saving grace, he'd treasure you and be so protective.

🍂 He'd never want to let you out of his sight. Which would be fine because you wouldn't want to leave his side for even a second.

🍂 He would definitely have his own issues about not abandoning others too so he'd be very reassuring, loyal and determined not to leave you on your own ever, or let you doubt his feelings for you.

🍂 There would be lots of tearful dramatic promises of his love and devotion.

🍂 But it would always be worded like "Its you and me now eh sweetheart, we're gonna be alright, we're gonna look after eachother, we're never gonna leave one another alone, yeah you and me right..."

🍂 Holding your hand super tight out in public. Always having you tucked under his arm

🍂 Coming home drunk and dropping to his knees to confess his undying love for you, as if its the first time he's confessing his undying love for you

🍂 I can't state enough how dramatic and intense this relationship would be. You'd both need one another so hard, but as a result youd both always feel needed. You'd know your worth 100%

🍂 But if you did argue they'd be volatile and you'd both really hurt one another, because you'd both be so scared that the other was going to leave, that fear would make you clumsy emotional and youd both say stuff you dont really mean

🍂 You'd both do lots of crying i guess, but when you do make up again it would be just as passionate as the argument.

🍂 The make up sex would be intense ya know?

🍂 I feel like he'd need lots of eye contact, not just in sex but like just in day to day life, youd constantly be looking at one another only to find the other looking back, so your day would be scattered with these sweet moments of quiet connection, both of you blushing or smiling because youve been caught watching your lover.

🍂 Arthur is actually very good at talking about his feelings, hes just never been given the chance to before. Even tommy shuts down those conversations, so Arthur would be scared to tell you how he feels at first... Once he knows he can though he will always be honest about his feelings and you'll know you can talk to him about anything. The two of you would share all your deepest darkest emotions, trusting in eachother completely. You would be eachothers rock.

🍂 You would obviously eventually have been honest with him about your childhood and your past relationships and whatever it is that's left you with all these issues and fears... And whether its a boyfriend, a father a mother whatever.. Arthurs going to hold grudges against anyone who has ever hurt you

🍂 If it was an ex or a father, he can't promise they'll live much longer...

John

🌼 John wouldnt notice at first, its not as of hes completely emotionally immature, because hes very mature when you need him to be, its just that generally speaking hes still very boyish...

🌼 So your fears go unnoticed by him to begin with. Over time however he does notice the way you hold onto him for a moment longer than is natural, how sometimes you get teary eyed just saying goodbye to him in the morning when he's off to work

🌼 And its impossible not to notice how upset you get when he's a little late home in the evenings... You really struggle when he doesn't come home on time... Your mind starts wandering to all those terrible possibilities... That something could have happened to him when he was out with the lads...he could be injured, lying in a hospital bed fighting for his life... Already dead, abandoned in an alley bleeding out.

🌼 The relief which washes over you when he comes through the front door leaves you shaking and when he pulls you in for a quick kiss he sees the light catch the tears in your eyes...

🌼 "Whats the matter love has something happened?" when he asks you you try to be brave, shake your head and lie, tell him youve just got dust in your eyes as you turn away from him and busy yourself with dinner

🌼 But john doesnt really know how to leave something alone and he'll keep pressing you on it, especially when you say "really john its nothing, just being daft.."

🌼 Hed get all serious then, cupping your cheek in his hand, turning your gaze back towards him. "Nah flower, dafts not like you... Youre not daft.. Talk to me love, whats wrong?"

🌼 "Its nothing really i just... When youre late home like that and i dont know where you are i get worried dont i, you know me mimd starts wandering and i get to thinkiny somet awfuls happened to you... That maybe youre not coming home at all and then i stsrt thinking about how i dont really think i could handle that like, if you didn't come home one day..." youd tell him all about how scared you are of him leaving you alone in this world, that you kind of feel doomed in a way, because everyone youve ever known has left you one way or another and youre so scared that one way or another he's going to end up leaving you too...

🌼 And John would listen to you, quietly, thoughtfully, his brows knitting together because he's concentrating and taking you so seriously.

🌼 He would be so soft with you, holdong your face in his hands, looking you deep in the eyes.

🌼 Like Alfie, super soft, makes you promises he knows he might not be able to keep but can't stabd to see you sad.

🌼 Kind of wants to be around you all the time

🌼 Takes being your man very seriously and will try very hard not to give you reasons to doubt him.

🌼 Imagine him taking your face in his hands, his eyes locked with yours as he tells you "you're the most important person to me in this whole world and I'm not going anywhere, I'm never leaving you flower, not for anything..."

🌼 He knows he shouldnt make promises he doesn't know whether he can keep, but he supposes he'll just have to do his best to keep them.

🌼 Which means being less reckless and more thoughtful, he'd mature a little bit, wouldn't needlessly put himself at risk.

🌼 He would be curious to know what happened to you to leave you with your fears but he wouldn't push you to talk about it. He doesnt like to be reminded that you were ever anyones but his, not just because youre his girl, but because he gets frustrated that there were times in your life when you needed him and he wasn't there because you hadnt met yet.

🌼 So to make up for that he just tries to be there for you as best he can now, as your protector, always reassuring you hes there to look after you and love you whenever you need him.

Bonnie

🍀 The softest most gentle boy in the world. He'd be upset by what you were telling him. It would be a lot to take in and he'd be blaming himself for your fears thinking it was something he'd done to make you feel that way

🍀Wordlessly wrapping his arms around you, pulling your whole body into his lap, tight against his chest, squeezing you reassuringly and lovingly, his face buried in the crook of your shoulder.

🍀 He'd nuzzle into you and the two of you would be quiet, you sniffling into his chest trying to stop yourself from crying. Him unable to cry but feeling like he wants to.

🍀 He'd probably apologise to you which would confuse you...

"I'm sorry little dove,"

"What? Why are you sorry Bon its not..."

"Well i obviously haven't been there for you enough lately if you're getting scared like this... M'sorry if i havent been doing enough to y'know... Show you how much i love you..."

🍀 You'd be so shocked by his words you wouldn't know what to say but you'd kiss him softly and try to explain it isn't really his fault at all, but he probably wouldn't accept that there wasnt anything he could have done... Because he thinks he should have been there for you more, told you he loves you more ect...

🍀He would kiss your forehead and then rest his against yours, promising you the whole world, telling you how much he adores you, how everything he does is for you, how he wouldn't want to live if he lost you

🍀It would be intense but ever so sweet, him playing with your fingers whilst he spoke, lying back and bringing you down with him, letting you calm resting against his chest.

🍀He's so devotional, he is always telling you he's yours and youre his girl, starts saying "my little dove" instead of just little dove

🍀 Makes a point of being just a little more possesive around the fire in the evening when other lads try to flirt with you he'll proudly tell the whole world youre his. He'd want to have you near him at all times and probably stick to you like glue. Always holding your hand or putting his arm around you.

🍀 He would talk to you about your feelings even if its not the easiest thing in the world, he'd lie awake with you at night, playing with your hair and listening to you as you told him what had happened to you in your past, why you're so scared of being abandoned...

🍀 He'll take you seriously... Obviously.. But to hide any difficult feelings stirred inside him at hearing how youve been hurt, he'll make a joke about beating whoever hurt you up, "yeah you just tell em to meet me in the ring my little dove, teach em a lesson they wont forget..."

🐀Is a charmer and a flirt and although he is completely committed to you, his girl, he will struggle not to flirt with the odd girl in a bar or smile and wink at someone he catches checking him out

🐀And you dont want to be annoyed at him for it because you dont want him to think youre one of those crazy, uncool, possesive girls

🐀But youre just scared he might actually get bored of you one day and just decide on a whim to abandon you right there in the middle of the garrison in exchange for one of those prettier girls

🐀You would end up arguing about it, you making petty bitchy remarks until he snaps at you, and honestly the second he does youd burst into tears unable to hide your real feelings.

🐀"Please don't leave!" the words would come out before you could stop them and youd feel completely pathetic and worthless, but he'd just look at you with a frown on his face, no longer angry just confused and... Concerned.

🐀"Why the fuck would you say that?" he'd ask slowly, he knows the answer but he doesn't really believe it... Surely you don't actually believe he'd abandon you?

🐀He'd do a lot of realising very very quickly, frowning deeper when he realises that yes, that is in fact exactly what you think.

🐀You wouldn't be able to stop your crying, you'd be so upset and half expecting him to walk out there and then.

🐀"If you're gonna go then fucking do it already Isaiah stop looking at me like that!"

"Like what?" "Like you fucking hate me!"

🐀After that he wouldn't exactly know what to do with himself, sure he's good at charming girls, but he doesn't really know how to get them to stop crying... Or to believe him when he says i love you. Usually they just do.

🐀He'd take your hands kind of hesitantly, not shy but just uncertain, he doesnt want to fuck this up and make it even worse

🐀And then he'd give your hands a squeeze and probably just try to speak from the heart.

🐀"I don't hate you mousy, i dont know why you think that but i dont, i couldnt possibly hate you and I'm definitely not gonna fuckin leave you..."

🐀You wouldn't know whether to believe him at first, looking up at him from under watery eyelashes, sniffling and blushing slightly.

🐀"Ever?" youd ask and he'd smirk down at you affectionately, "Ever." he'd confirm kissing your nose and stroking your hair.

🐀He'd ask you why you thought he would want to leave you, but he can't really say he's surprised. "You know none of that flirting means anything, its just part of the deal aint it... Being one of birminghams most charming criminals..." he'd joke to try and reassure you but when he sees it isnt working he'd be serious again. "I love you and only you and you know I'd die for you so i dont see why youre so scared I'm gonna walk out on us..."

🐀"Dying is a sort of leaving too ain't it Isaiah..."

🐀He really wouldn't know how to reassure you then, he'd chuckle nervously.. "Love you do realise who i am right? What i am..." "You know what I'm involved in... With the Peakys..."

🐀"Even so..."

🐀I don't think he'd promise you he wasn't going to die, i think he'd just try to make sure you knew he wouldn't leave you of his own choice. He wouldn't want to make a promise you'd live to regret.

Michael

☘️ Doesn't understand at first. And i do think you would have quite an intense argument about it. Not loud and shouting at one another but quiet and guarded and trying to be polite

☘️ Because Michael views himself as a gentleman and would be offended that you'd think he would ever cheat on you or abandon you because that would be improper and he views himself as above that

☘️ "is that really how little you think of me? Is that really how poorly you think i view you? You think i have such little respect for my girl that I'd just up and leave her?" his voice would be tight and sharp and he wouldn't be looking at you. He'd be wounded and taking it very personally

☘️"Thats...thats not what i meant its not like that at all..." youd be struggling to get your words out or explain what you really meant, "i just..." he wouldn't be listening to you, instead hed be getting more wound up by the second thinking in stupid circles, worrying that you were going to leave him.

☘️ "Then what is it like y/n cause right now it sounds like youre accusing me of something i havent even thought about doing... Sounds to me like youre the one looking for reasons to leave..."

☘️ Tears streaming down your face as you stare back at him in shock, you're panicking, you can hardly breath

☘️ But michaels just being cruel now, saying it to test you, he's watching you crumble and taking reassurance from it, its evidence enough that you love him, that you don't want to leave him, your fear is genuine.

☘️ "Tell me y/n if youre so scared I'll leave you why don't you do yourself a favour and leave first eh? Save yourself all that heartache?"

☘️ "You... You don't really mean that michael i know you don't..." "Yeah?" michael is a bastard, he likes how much you need him and he wants you to be dependent/scared to lose him.

☘️ So then he'd soften, he'd come close to you, hands on your hips, holding you in his palms as he strokes his thumbs over your hips. "Listen Y/n whoever else you've known before, anyone whose let you down in the past... They're in the past. You're mine now remember? And I'm a good man y/n i really am, I treat you right, i treat you like a princess don't i? Even if i do bad things to other people right, even if I'm one of the worst men in new york city... I'm your man and thats never going to change... So youd better get used to that"

☘️All of this being said, michael knows how to make you feel loved, how to reassure you. Perhaps he didn't realise before how much reassurance you needed, but now that he understands this he is nothing but kind and sweet and good to you. He always was of course but now he makes an extra effort.

☘️He makes a point of telling you he needs you, or telling you he needs to see you. He'll call you into his office telling you its important, then, when you arrive all flustered and concerned, he'll just smile and say he needed to see his girl.

☘️ He'll always have a hand on you somewhere, your thigh under the table, your hand, his arm around your waist. He becomes physically even more possesive in an attempt to show you he isn't going anywhere.

☘️ He will make the promise he can't keep because he is arrogant and truly believes he can promise he's never going to get killed.

You ask and I shall deliver (a million years later, but I'll deliver lmao). I'm really happy Aemond's in-universe children & courting headcanons got so much love and I'm thrilled you'd want to see that with Amaelia in my modern au as well! Ngl this was tough as hell because I see her as a little kid every time, but here goes!

Dad!Aemond dealing with his daughter dating (modern au featuring my oc: Amaelia)

Ok as I said I still see Amaelia as a little girl interested in dragons, pirates, and drawing, so thinking about her growing into her teens was so hard because what would she be like?

For one, I think she wouldn't develop crushes young because she's too into her own little fantasy world, just enjoying drawing and reading, playing with her dogs, getting up to mischievousness with uncle Aegon or gardening with aunt Helaena. And obviously, spending quality time with Aemond and reader. Liking someone from school just never really crosses her mind.

Which honestly thrills Aemond because he gets to enjoy having his little girl all to himself. He thought he wouldn't be like those overprotective jealous fathers, but when he thinks about someone dating Amaelia he does get a little bit insane. If someone were to ever hurt his baby he'd murder them. Seriously.

And I'm thinking that she's very extroverted at home and with her family because she's very loved. She's energetic and just, a very happy child, and I feel like in her school setting she'd be very kind to her peers but despite it all, she'd have a hard time because of her being a Targaryen.

When she starts getting older and children at school are at that age where they get very cruel, they start to project onto her what they hear from their parents. So they start to form this prejudice that she's conceited, snobby, and bitchy because of her family.

It stings and she starts getting more and more introverted and private as she grows, very much mirroring Aemond.

By the time she's in her teens, I can see this scenario happening: the popular kids want her in their cliques because she is a Targaryen - but they're put off by her being so quiet.

I think she'd keep all of her interests from when she was little; she'd be into the arts, and reading, like her dad. Her love for pirates and dragons would maybe lead to her being into like d&d and fantasy novels and movies.

So the outcast kids would want to befriend her, but they'd be intimidated because of her being a Targaryen. (Amaelia I'm so sorry I'm doing this to you ;sldflskjg)

So maybe she'd kind of have two good friends and that's it, not really fitting in in any group.

I can see her having her first crush on one of the popular kids at school, someone from the sports team maybe. A boy from the basketball team.

And he's handsome, charming and quite kind actually. His kindness is the first thing that draws her to him. And when she discovers they have that (1) nerdy interest in common, that's when it starts. Maybe he's also into d&d like she is, unlike the rest of the popular kids. Or he likes this obscure band that Amaelia thought only she knew of, and that's what does it for her. It establishes some common ground for them to talk, and Amaelia is absolutely smitten.

Her crush lasts all through middle school and high school. She talks about him constantly and the first time she brings him up, Aemond is surprisingly more relaxed than he thought he'd be.

He's just really happy that Amaelia feels comfortable and safe enough to talk about those kinds of things with him, and not only with reader. And overall he loves to know more about his daughter's world, and loves getting to know new parts of her every day, as she grows. But he's still a little weary.

He knows first crushes rarely ever transform into something else. And it hurts him, but he knows that his daughter is an outcast. So he's just preparing himself mentally to be there for her when the whole thing crashes, even when he hopes every night that it won't because he can see Amaelia's eyes glint every time she nudges Aemond's arm in the car when he picks her up from school and goes, 'look! there he is!'

You calm Aemond down and tell him that you can't stop Amaelia from getting hurt. You can't just magically prevent it from happening, ever. But what they can do is be there for her when and if it happens.

Doesn't stop Aemond from thinking about ways to get away with murdering a teenage boy as he goes to sleep lmao.

Eventually, it happens.

I'm thinking that, either they were going to meet up and she got stood up, or they went out to the obscure band's concert and he was a total dick to her the entire time. Amaelia is devastated but she kinda saw it coming anyway. More than sad, she's angry.

The next time Aemond drops Amaelia off to school, he sees the boy and he stomps on the pedal of the car to make it seem like he's gonna run him over sdljfglkjslkgj but he stops before actually hitting him. He just wanted to spook him off, and he's so freaking pleased with the frightened look on the boy's face.

Any other time he sees him, when he picks up Amaelia, or during parent-teacher nights or any other school presentation, he's just glaring at the boy so hard. You'd tell Aemond to stop scaring the boy but honestly, you're just wickedly pleased every time. No one hurts your baby.

For prom, you make sure to splurge on the most beautiful dress for Amaelia and treat her to a pampering session so she'll feel super confident on the night of, and so that the boy will see what he's missing.

Amaelia goes to prom with her long-time best friend.

He's also an outcast like her, and people liked to gossip that he always had a crush on Amaelia. And once, while doing a group project, Aemond caught a glimpse of disappointment flashing over the boy's face when he heard Amaelia talking about her basketball crush.

Aemond and you were lowkey watching them during prom, wondering if either Amaelia or her friend were gonna make a move. You were secretly rooting for them, because you'd seen them together so many times, and you knew that there was mutual love there, only they couldn't tell just yet.

Amaelia and her friend end up going to the same college, but in different faculties, and it's through the separation that she realizes that, holy shit, she loves him!

But it's too late. Her friend has changed. He suddenly started getting a lot of attention from girls, and it got to his head.

Aemond really wanted him to be the one, because out of all the douchbags at Amaelia's school, he was always very polite, and treated Amaelia with a lot of care and affection.

So he was very disappointed, but once again, was there to comfort Amaelia. She kinda went into a hiatus of not going on dates at all.

So Aemond ended up going, 'you don't have to worry, baby. I'll be your date. Whatever you want to do, wherever you wanna go, I'll go with you."

And she was like, "I really appreciate it, dad. But it's kinda embarrassing..."

And Aemond is like, "idc I'm taking you out tomorrow, get your nice coat."

Aemond pulls out all of the stops to make this father-daughter day as special as he can. They get some really delicious brunch at a fancy restaurant of Amaelia's choice and then go take a walk in the park before it's time for a movie. After a movie they stop by the bookstore or record store, anything Amaelia chooses. And they end up finishing the day with a very indulgent dinner at yet another fancy restaurant.

At some point during the dinner, Aemond is like, 'Listen, sweetheart. It's okay if you don't feel comfortable dating anymore. It's okay if it takes you a long time to find someone, and it's also okay to try and put yourself out there if it's what you want to do. It's also okay if you don't want to try at all. I want you to know that it's perfectly fine and normal to be alone, and you don't need anyone to complete you. But it's also fine to want a relationship. As long as you never forget that this is how you should be treated. Never ever, go out with someone who will not put in the effort to give you what you deserve. Please, do me this one favor. Never forget this day. If the next person you're interested in doesn't treat you like the princess that you are, they're not worth your time."

Amaelia just rolls her eyes playfully, thinking that Aemond is being a little melodramatic but smiles nevertheless.

"I promise, dad. And don't worry. You'll always be #1 in my heart."

Aemond is dead serious when he replies, "Of course I am." And they both laugh and enjoy their little father-daughter date.

im ngl this one kinda got away from me a bit, i had a bit of this written ages ago and then i saw this request and go inspo to finish this with your request!

Pac loved men. It was something that had always been true of him. He just loved them so much. Honestly who wouldn't? There was so much to admire. Tall, dark, and handsome? Absolutely, sign him up please. Scowling and brooding? Another absolutely. Giggly and full of big smiles? A big hell yes as well. He had known since he was a teenager that he didn’t quite seem to view relationships the way other people did. That was made clear ages ago when one girl had asked him who he wanted to marry most. Looking back it was clear she was trying to flirt with him but he was 13 at the time and had no idea so he was honest. Squinted at her first before really truly considering it.

“Mike,” he had said with all the confidence a 13 year old boy could possess. Mike, who was standing right beside him at the time, nodded much to the girl’s chagrin.

She laughed a bit. “Não, nao. Isso não é…” she trailed off. “He’s your best friend. You don’t have romantic feelings for him.”

Pac remembers blinking slowly at her. “What does romance have to do with it?”

“That’s why people get married. For romance.”

That didn’t make any sense to him and honestly to this day he believed the same. “Well I will get married for friendship then.”

Even now he wasn’t quite sure what to call himself. Labels never seemed that important to him. He would love who he would love, be that in a kissing way or not. But he soon realized that he would kiss a whole hell of a lot of people.

The island certainly wasn’t the start of that discovery but oh did it help because there were so. Many. Hot. Guys. Almost every day was just him internally panicking while Mike laughed at him over their internal mind link.

He honestly thought it might calm down after he got with Fit. He loved that man so much and honestly wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. But oh men were still so attractive.

The worst now for him was Tubbo. Those eyes were entrancing. Swirls of colors lived inside his eyes. Soft hair fell over his eyes in a tangled mess every day. Pac just wanted to run his hands through it until it was soft and untangled. Until Tubbo was looking at him softly with those wide blue-green eyes. Until his gaze was drifting down and Pac could catch those soft pink lips with his own.

He smacked himself in the head when he realized he had been staring at the man in front of him for an uncomfortably long time. “I'm sorry what?”

Those gorgeous eyes glittered back at him. “I said where's your head man, you keep zoning out.”

“My brain goes blank when I look at you.”

Tubbo stared at him, those deep eyes going wide. “I'm sorry?”

“I…” Pac felt his face start to flush. “Well. You're botino. Pretty boy.”

The tips of his ears went pink. “Oh. Thank you, Pac.”

Pac averted his eyes and tried not to laugh. “Yeah, yeah no problem.”

“I didn't uh realize you thought that.”

Pac couldn't help but gape at him. “But you're so handsome.”

“Nahhh,” Tubbo scoffed. “I. You don't have to say shit like that to me.”

Pac couldn't help but grab Tubbo's face in his hands. His skin was so warm agaisnt his palms. “I am not just saying it.”

He allowed himself to really study the man in front of him again. Get lost in those ocean eyes and the adorable flush on his cheeks. The feeling of his soft skin under his rough fingertips. “How can I convince you?” he asked.

Tubbo shrugged but Pac watched as those eyes fell to his lips and his mouth nearly split open with the grin that followed. He surged forward to kiss the boy on the lips. The lips against his were chapped but tasted oh so nice. Every movement burned as Tubbo sighed against his mouth and fell into him. His mouth was opening and it was so warm. Damn near perfect. Life could not get any better than this.

Y’know, I have a funny story with the ship between Innocence and Pebbles.

@eggobuggo , my sister, was playing The Sims and made the iterators in her own humanised forms, including her version of Innocence and Wind, along with Moon, Pebbles, NSH and Suns, all with their own personalities and stuff. She set up a generic apartment, put the gang in, and just had fun making them do silly shenanigans together, while I sit and watched her play.

In particular, we headcanon NSH, Pebbles and Innocence as Gen 3s, the newer modes, and so she made them into teenagers, which, with a DLC, have a whole new host of features that are not in the base game. This includes getting crushes (which weirdly enough, young adults and adults cannot get).

But anyway, one day, later into the game (the gang basically all were in the high end of the friendship scale with each other), the notif board popped up that Innocence had gotten a crush on Pebbles. Unfortunately for her, NSH and Pebs were already being all flirty with each other (Ragequit is where it’s at for us), making Pebble basically keep her in the friendzone. Ngl, my heart went out to her :,) Especially so, because they were all sharing a room. (space was tight)

After that, I began thinking about it in context of it in-universe, and ngl, I came to quite liking it as a ship, especially since I see Innocence to be less… asshole-ish (?), I guess, than what the general fandom makes her out to be (I mean it’s understandable, we only see her to leak the pic of Pebbles condition and that’s it.). To me and Eggo, she’s much nicer unless you really piss her off, which then, her more cynical and gossipy side of her comes out. She was actually more of on the friends side with Pebble before the shit went down.

At the time, I thought “dang, it’s a shame I won’t be seeing anything of it since she’s so obscure.”. This was a couple months before I began seeing art of them on the main tag.

Soooo… I guess I’m somewhat of an og Milkshake (as is the fandom name) shipper???

Just, seeing you and others make art about them is almost surreal in a way, since the only reason I really considered them as a ship was cuz of a random event in a life sim game lol.

Also @eggobuggo, I hope you don’t mind me sharing the story. :)

Wow, that seems like quite the story! And I do agree, after witnessing something like that in a totally different game it must be pretty surreal to see the ship gaining popularity in the actual RW fandom now too! It's nice to get another seal of approval from an original Milkshake shipper!

For me, it's also a bit strange because it's something I've considered for a really long time as a lingering "oh, wouldn't it be cool if I could make this work?" idea. The obscurity and lack of content for UI to draw inspiration from, both canon and fanon, definitely added to these feelings and the difficulty of imagining a working portrayal of the ship, hence I've only recently felt confident enough about the relationship and UI as a character to act on it. So after Pura coined the ship name and made a lot more art of it, then other artists started expressing approval and even drawing it themselves, it almost feels like I'm watching the ship enter the mainstream (Tumblr) fandom consciousness in real time, which is honestly pretty cool, especially since it feels like I had a hand in it with that initial ask! And even if I wasn't the very first to consider it, I'll definitely continue supporting this ship!

For some other thoughts though, I totally agree on Innocence not being mean in reality, though for me she's not mean or gossipy at all and more so has a kind-of opposite major flaw that tends to cause bad things unintentionally. As much as I can understand interpreting the character as a genuinely mean person, I thought it'd be interesting to imagine that her leaking the rot simply caused others to perceive her as mean, not that she's that way in reality. After all, I don't think we ever see direct dialogue from Innocence in canon, and the only evidence I can find of her being mean is Wind's speculation on her motivations. I also took inspiration from @shkika's Innocence, but I just wanted to see if I could take those ideas further to create my own unique interpretation.

Also, it's actually pretty coincidental you're telling me this too, because in regards to what I've come up for my Milkshake portrayal, Innocence having an unrequited crush on Pebbles for a really long time is actually really important for both plot and character arc reasons! I've been developing my own take on the classic worm-off-the-string iterator AU idea with @hail-strom for like the past week or so and the ship as of now plays a decent role in that, but the unrequited crush acts as subtle, yet major context for Innocence's actions throughout, which in turn slowly influence Pebbles especially as he starts to reciprocate those feelings (much to his alarm)!

Anyway, thanks for sharing that with me, and thanks for giving me a chance to ramble about this ship more! I'm honestly so happy to see it growing, and all support counts!

Originally I just wanted draw Dexter in a cheerleader outfit (an excuse to put him a skirt for pure funsies) and so I did! Which is art is below that i drew like a long time ago now.

It was just Dexter at first but I am a dexdark shipper so I had to have him react somehow. Then I remembered there was a comic about an athletic Mandark so I added him in his outfit from the comic.

Then my mind like it always does, wandered and created a short story to make sense of why they would be in this position in the first place.

After years and years of competing with Dexter relentlessly, Mandark had gotten into a rut during his high school years. He's absolutely frustrated that he's STILL second best to him.

(The time the art is placed is late hs years)

So what does a teen genius do? He explores outside of the science community and what do you know. . . he's actually not half bad at sports. He quickly abandons science for it. Mandark is thriving. Why didn't he try this sooner? And Dexter? He's so confused. Never thought his greatest rival would ditch him science for a mere physical activity. Determined to find the bottom of this he goes directly to the source of his confusion and asks. It goes as well as you think. Not at all. Plan B. Find a way to get close enough without raising too much suspicion. How? Cheerleading.

It honestly wasn't that hard to join. He's cute and flexible enough due to the battle he's faced through out the years. Plus a recommendation from his dear sister, Deedee, quickly received him a spot.

The idea seemed brilliant at the time. That is until he found out he had to wear a skirt of all things. Deedee secretly tricked as a little bit of revenge. It wasn't too bad in the end. He rocks skirt ngl. With the excuse of having come to rehearsals and games that involved Mandark, things have become much easier to keep a closer look on him.

His sudden presence certainly didn't go noticed. Mandark's eye often drifted to the redhead that cheered him on during events. And oh, what an ego boost. His former rival cheering on? Yelling out his number whenever he had the ball? Wishing for him to succeed? Even if it was for only the cheerleaders' expectation to do so. How addicting.

He cornered Dexter right after. "That 'M' for me, McPherson?" Mandark teased. Knowing the "M" was their school's name. "How kind of you." "In your dreams, Astronomanov." It continued on like for a while.

They lap it like fucking cream. They've missed this. The feeling buried was bubbling up to the surface once again. Stealing quick glances, the playful jabs, grins matching the other's.

Who made the first move? It wasn't clear. It seemed so natural to be in the other's presence. Both just eased into they didn't even noticed.

Meanwhile, the science department was taking heavy losses. They lost their best two students. Ended up begging the two come back.

Eventually Dexter and Mandark did return but as partners this time.

. . . Douglas? He was thrown out of the loop about the entire thing. He missed out a lot when watching from afar. No one told him they were switching sides! What the heck guys. :/

He wouldn't survived the switch anyway. He's athletic pathetic. Stay on your game boy, Douglas. It's better this way.

Nico is the prince while Percy the concubine

This is funny bc I was thinking about this exact trope albeit a little different, as expected of a different pairing.

Now, a few things about this:

Idk if it's your intention but to me, the word 'concubine' suggests the existence of other... er, partners? Which got me snickering a bit because as it is, it's Percy who usually has a harem wrapped in his fingers, and whoever takes the place of his secret admirer would suffer as a result. This, however, gives contradictory vibes, obviously. It's the reverse of every regret in canon, and I gotta say it's quite lovely. No, it's not because I like pining Percy---ok yes I do. But I usually won't direct that affection toward Nico (I honestly don't know why. I don't mind it in other people's works, I just can't bring myself to do it). Although I wouldn't say I'm unfamiliar with a harem in Nico-centric fanfics, it's still a breath of fresh air to have this delivered to my ask box.

On the topic of polygamy, this also implies that Nico's official spouse is, in fact, another person, not Percy. But we will not stray there LMAO.

On the other hand, Nico doesn't strike me as one to collect mates either (I have a bunch of self-love Nico content you cannot expect this of me). Coupling that with the Royal background in which I prefer politics over romance, I hope there's a good reason as to how they got themselves into this dynamic. Or more specifically: Percy (because you can't become a prince without being born as one). This prompt can expand dramatically differently depending on what, exactly, he did.

Ngl, I hardly think of anything for this prompt LMAO. Unless there's a war and the Underworld wins, it's hard to think of a reasonable explanation for Percy to submit - and yet even then, it feels inadequate for Nico to take a war prisoner as a concubine. Too dangerous, and what's the purpose? To humiliate? Meaningless.

Unless it's 'love at first sight.' Eh. I hate it on principle. So.

The second possible scenario I can think of is an arranged marriage, which makes less sense unless we build Poseidon's family as a... lesser one? (I'm sorry). Again, I come up blank.

Valentine's day,the day where high-schoolers go heart-eyed for everyone they see,chocolates,red and pink cards filled with hearts…the teenage dream,but it isn't so lovey dovey ,why? Simple.Rejection. The utter despair when your crush doesn't share your feelings of love and affection, truly sad but not Saiki's problem. He didn't understand the Valentine's craze,all his friends seemed to disagree, all fantasizing about their dream partner giving them the sweet box of heart chocolates.Well almost all his friends, the exception was you.You often shared his feelings when it came to stuff like this,you hated it as much as he did.You knew of his problem of girls fawning over him and he knew how you also had a similar issue,classmates not getting your hints about not liking them in that way and they're surprised when you are forced to reject them in person because they were too blind to see you weren't interested.It was a pain for the both of you,the unwanted attention was honestly tiring and with the holiday all about love coming tomorrow you both knew your days will be just awful. So during a class where you didn't feel like paying attention to,you heard Saiki's voice in your head 'Got any ideas for tomorrow?' He asks trying to figure out how both of you can escape from it 'Nope,just thinking about it is giving me a headache' you respond ,this wasn't the first time you both talked telepathically, it was easier and it wouldn't cause attention or rumors about you two dating or something. 'Guess we'll somehow have to leave the situations if we can't avoid them' Saiki said ,pondering on any escape plans that wouldn't involve him directly using his powers such as teleporting in front of them 'Just like the stuff you pulled on Chiyo?' You tease ,turning to him to see his face,annoyed at your comment 'Don't remind me' is all he said.

So the day has arrived,both you and Saiki were a tad bit nervous, hoping there wouldn't be too many suitors for each,it's not like they're Teruhashi or some harem anime.But as they stepped on the school premise they get ready for their "avoid all nuisances at all costs" mission to begin.

First period was…rough… to say the least.You definitely weren't expecting chocolates and flowers on your desk already,at least not this many anyway.You definitely knew they were watching you,waiting for your reaction.You pretended to not see them,and when you blocked the view of the chocolates,they were gone! The suitors looked away for just a second and it's gone!? Did they accidentally place it on the wrong desk!? Surely not they could've sworn they placed it on your desk.Said flowers and chocolates ended up on Teruhashi's pile,there were so many anyway,one extra wouldn't be noticed 'Thanks for the help' you say in your mind,hoping Saiki could hear you through the noise of other people's thoughts 'Don't thank me yet,this has only just begun' He responded staring at his empty desk,he got lucky,he was quiet,never talking to people so his classmates didn't really notice him as much as people noticed you since you at least talked when interacting.

Saiki has heard that one of the girl's wants to confess to him later today.He immediately went straight to you,telepathically of course to let you know of the situation so you can make a plan to get him out of the conversation. Surely enough after the second period,the girl came to him.She seemed nervous, biting her bottom lip,cheeks already red.Saiki was already feeling awkward being there,he just wanted to leave. "Uhm Saiki I w-was wondering if you could be my-" before she could finish her sentence you ran up to them, after panting from running you look at Saiki "Hey Saiki a teacher is asking you come to their ,something about wanting to talk about a grade" you lied,hoping your performance was believable. Saiki nodded before heading in to the supposed teacher when in reality it was just his next class ,thankfully this girl wasn't from his class so there wouldn't be any awkward moments. The girl sighed in defeat looking at the floor as she walked away,you had to admit you did feel bad for her but eh that's what rejection does to a person. You watch her go to whatever she was headed before heading towards your own destination.

Lunchtime was pretty tame,most people being focused on eating rather than confessing, besides no one would risk getting rejected in front of the whole school in the middle of the cafeteria. However this peace wouldn't last for much longer. So far it was all clear,the next class went smoothly without any instances. However when you decided to go outside for some fresh air,that peace was ruined.Someone you didn't even recognise came up to you smiling before saying "well since it's Valentine's day I feel like it's only right I say this ____ I've admired you since I first saw you,you were like an angel that has come from the sky,your beauty is something that could rival anyone else" they began to say,not showing signs of being finished.Saiki wasn't nearby so you began to worry when suddenly you welp a gust of wind suddenly appear out on nowhere and somehow ,the handkerchief from your pocket flew out causing you to turn around and watch it fly into the distance "uhm sorry but I gotta go get this,see you later" you say as you ran for the now practically flying handkerchief till you reached a secluded area only to see a certain pink haired boy." So it was you" you say,knowing that it wasn't windy at all today,he simply shrugged acting like he had no involvement.'Looks like it's 2 encounters with you and one for me' He says "don't jinx it because I'm not sure how to save you this time" you joked before checking to see if the area is clear before both of you walked back in the school.

The day ended and both of you thought it was finally over,you both went to your lockers to put your shoes away when suddenly two people walked up,some towards saiki and the other towards you,shoot! How were you two supposed to get out of this!?You both were nervous, preparing yourself for doom then you both heard a voice "Saiki! ____" it was Toritsuka! Seeing as you two were probably friends with the medium,they slowly backed away,apologizing before walking away.Oh Toritsuka you miracle of a man you are! You saved both of them."uhm what's up with your faces,looks like you just got out of a tight situation" he asks,confused look on his face "because we did" you signed astou changed your shoes,Saiki following suit.The three of you went home,Toritsuka teasing Saiki about he's a playboy for getting all the girls despite him indirectly rejecting all of them. Eventually you get home and both of you flop on your beds. You look up at the ceiling of your room sighing,before smiling "I owe Kusuo a coffee jelly" you think to yourself, not knowing the same boy is thinking the same about you."I owe ____ a coffee jelly".
